Review #1,325: Lee Banks "P.A.P.E.R."

Reviewed on 9.30.2013 (Review #1,325)

Next up, a review for a CD I found by randomly googlin’ “DJ B-Real”: Lee Banks P.A.P.E.R., released in 2011. Start Time: 1:59 PM | End Time: 2:54 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

© 2013 CD Review (Review #1,325) reviewed on 9.30.2013 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Intro”
! >>> Good speech. I dunno about “money” bein’ your “motivation.” To me, it’s capturin’ peoples’ minds. But, good way ta start this off… My Rating: N/A

02. “My Ambition”
WTH? Wow, “Ambition” in tha 1st track, two CD reviewz in a row!! Produced by The Olympicks, here… >>> Almost sounds like some updated version of Barry White’s music in tha beat, here; nice sound… Good rhymes you got goin’ on ova this beat, here; nice lil’ freestyle-like track! My Rating: 4.2 (same rating as tha other “Ambition” track, too, lol)

03. “MGB”
Mod Productions (lol @ tha “Z”) on tha beat… >>> Beat sounds nice, here… Nice job wit tha 1st verse, here… You almost sound like Yo Gotti on tha hook, here; interestin’ shit… Tha 2nd verse sounds like you got a lot goin’ on, strictly heatin’ up err-thang (streetz, drugs, whateva)! My Rating: 4.3

04. “P.A.P.E.R.”
DJ B-Real beat. I dunno what to say, but it’s after noon!! >>> Beat sounds nice, here. I like that lil’ sample in tha background, durin’ tha beginning. Spittin’ some street rhymes, here, and a perspective “before” 2039 (a.k.a., “before [you] “turn 50”)! Nice schedule on tha 2nd verse, too; sounds like you got your plans in line! My Rating: 4.5

05. “Almost Famous” Feat. Coppertop
DJ Burn One-produced beat? Interesting connect, but I believe it came from online somewhere? I dunno… I guess he’s gettin’ his name out there better? >>> Tha hook’s decent, here; looks like you’re lookin’ for fame… I see you’re on a mission fa tha quantity of “bitches,” huh? Well, I’m on a mission fa tha quantity of reviewz and number of video countdowns completed! I feel like, everytime I make a song, album, video countdown, or documentary, I feel like I just had a kid; it’s that special! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, here; sounds like you can swerve ta this, despite it bein’ on a fuckin’-“hoes” tip, lol. Also, some of this sounds like you can hear a bit of static in tha beat, at times; wonder what dat iz…? Seemed like a while went by since this track started, but I’m up to tha 3rd verse, now, wit Coppertop… Sounds good, as he “took tha man route,” so you know he’s grown. I think I’ll always be young. I’m 25 and I still get ID’d for scratch-offs! My Rating: 3.8

06. “Shattered Dreams” Feat. Marcel P. Black
Interesting collab, here, produced by The Olympicks! >>> Anotha 2010s version of a Barry White-soundin’ beat, here; sounds good for a start, as well as your speech in tha beginning. Feelin’ your struggle on tha 1st verse, but you stayin’ consistent wit what you be doin’ (music)… Tha hook—in combination wit tha beat—sounds like a Nas-like hook; pretty interestin’… Tha 2nd verse sounds good ta go wit this track, too. I like how P comes through on tha 3rd verse, as this iz “one of those jointz that you write at night;” dark vibes! Feelin’ tha end part of P’s verse tha best; consistency! My Rating: 4.1

07. “Journey Thru My Mind”
Brotha B on tha beat. >>> I like tha ‘90s-soundin’ vibe, here, as far as dat southern music goes! Feelin’ your real-life rhymes, here! Doesn’t seem like you when I doze off into this track. Seems like a ‘90s rapper… That’s how much you’ve captured tha vibe, here! My Rating: 4.4

08. “Ridin’ Muzik” Feat. Ronny My
Interestin’… Production from DJ Burn One, here… >>> *Dies* Then again, this was first… I know this one as 2 Slugz Feat. Derty Red & Mac Soul “Down”, so I can’t really like this one too much… But, let’s see what comes outta this… Yea, I was right about DJ Burn One’s beats just bein’ online. This sounds okay wit tha rhymes, but tha hook doesn’t shine like tha 2 Slugz one… And, he used auto-tune, too! Weird! My Rating: 3.6

½time: Sounds like a good CD, so far; can’t complain. A 4.1-rated CD, currently!

09. “Laid Back” Feat. Mouse On Tha Track
Mouse on tha feature, but JB Beats (jacked beat?) on tha beat? >>> “Laidback” vibe; I’m diggin’ it! Reminds me of tha ‘90s, once again! Nice lyrics, strictly high! Wonder how Mouse gon come on a slower track? Interestin’, how he sounds! He still sounds mid-speed on tha track; in tha zone! My Rating: 4.4

10. “Working It”
A Q-Red-produced joint, here… >>> I don’t like high-pitched female samples, and this hook’s that. Beat’s a lil’ too laidback for me. At least tha previous joint was interestin’. I do like how you set tha mood wit how you sound, though. My Rating: 2.7

11. 6teen (Interlude)
Gotta hear this interlude! >>> Anotha good speech. My Rating: N/A

12. “6teen”
Brotha B on tha beat. >>> Anotha smooth joint; too many in a row? It does sound like a nice story wit this “teen” and how you sound… Sounds like heartfelt lyrics about someone else. Kinda hard to write somethin’ about someone else, right? I guess hard for me ‘cause I’ve neva dealt wit anyone that has died, in person. It’s like, why do people need ta chase tha fetty? I like chasin’ consistency! Not my kinda joint, but I’ll give you props fa tha good story, here, about this “mama.” My Rating: 3.7

13. “Life”
BJ on tha beat, but you forgot tha closing parenthasis on tha back cover, for tha production… >>> Here’s your gutta, street voice, here, comin’ through wit a nice analysis fa tha 1st verse. I’m likin’ this production from BJ, too. Wonder why I haven’t hit BJ up, yet? I prolly don’t know where ta get a hold of him… Wonder if he knows about me? A good 2nd verse, too; you’re strictly motivated on tha track… My Rating: 4.2

14. “Southside Anthem (Keep It On The Real)”
A beat from 3x Krazy, here… >>> Tha ‘90s vibe, here, sounds nice… Sounds like anotha story you spittin’? Tha hook sounds nice, here; I like that female. Oh, this iz so ‘90s gangsta rap, right chea! Tha ending sounds like tha outro to a CD, three jointz early. I like how tha beat continues ta ride… Wit 40 seconds left, tha beat went away, and now, you’re speakin’ anotha speech… Good, overall. My Rating: 4.5

15. “Still My Lady” Feat. Tremaine
Yes! Savage Trackz a.k.a. Sav Sinatra a.k.a. Savage on tha beat!! >>> Nice beat, Sav! Keepin’ tha ‘90s vibes goin’! I like how tha hook sounds, too; nice and pure! LOL @ tha “new dude” part on tha hook. Oh, ‘90s, like K-Ci & JoJo! How ‘bout some Next? Anyway, good job on gettin’ yourself in these moods, Lee! Nice beat endin’ from Sav! You can feel it!!! My Rating: 4.3

16. “Problems”
DJ Burn One on tha beat! >>> Good hook wit these unsolved “problems.” Slightly a ‘90s vibe, once again, and you’re comin’ through wit some great shit fa tha streetz, on a laidback tip. I feel ya on tha 2nd verse wit thinkin’ ‘bout “suicide.” It’s like, you can only take so much! I’m glad I have tha self-esteem I have to keep me goin’, despite all tha shit I run into, as far as dealin’ wit people goes. :( Cold ending wit tha gunshot; interestin’… My Rating: 4.0

17. “Bonus”
Produced by DJ Burn One. >>> Feelin’ tha beat you chose, here, as well… Consistent rhymes, here; good way ta end this CD! You left 42 seconds of tha beat, here; good way ta end this, once again! Strictly freestyled into a bonus track! My Rating: 3.9

Overall: Thought you did a great job wit this CD, Lee! Props on tha original, Baton Rouge producers, and I really felt all tha ‘90s vibes! I don’t see why you had to title it a money-related term; you should’ve titled it “1989” or somethin’, or somethin’ that had to represent growin’ up in tha ‘90s.

01. “Rapstar Intro”
Phil Mic production. >>> Tha beat actually sounds nice, and your lyrical rhymes sound good, consistently! Nice beat ending, too! My Rating: 4.5

02. “Let Me Know” Feat. Phil Mic
Phil Mic production. >>> This iz a nice and laidback vibe… Your rhymes sound good, and tha singin’ on tha hook’s pretty nice… My Rating: 4.3

03. “Comfortable / Interlude” (Dexter Nicholas)
Phil Mic production. >>> Just singin’? Okay, but sounded like Drake. My Rating: 2.4

04. “Climaxx Music” Feat. L.Franchise & Coppertop
D.J. beat. >>> I don’t like tha sample shit in tha background, nor iz tha beat good for me. Tha verses ain’t too bad, but tha beat’s disturbing me… My Rating: 3.2

05. “Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing”
>>> Not bad; hook’s not that bad, but I like rappin’ better… My Rating: 3.6

06. “Not A Dream”
D.J. beat. >>> Good rhymin’, here; I like that there’s no hook and that it sounds like wind! My Rating: 4.0

07. “Money Train” Feat. L.Franchise
I.M.P. On Da Beat beat; really? Rappin’ about “money” iz lyrical? “Money” iz slang for dildos, right? >>> Yuck, even a beat tag in tha beat tag; not lyrical at all!! Beat sounds good, but this ain’t really for me… Why does every rapper have to have songs about “money”? I don’t think I made a song about it, unless lottery tickets are involved… My Rating: 3.0

½time: A real nice start, although it’s turnin’ into a decent CD…; 3.6 for tha CD rating, currently.

08. “Best Is Home” Feat. Qwest
Phil Mic production. >>> This beat iz decent; tha rhymes sound good… Almost forgot that Qwest was a mainstream artist, I think? If that’s tha case, then why iz this here? My Rating: 3.3

09. “Listen Up” Feat. Luke St. John
Phil Mic production. >>> Good rhymes; beat’s okay, once again. Tha hook sounds pretty good wit tha “listen up” shit. Nice rhymes comin’ through in tha 2nd verse, too… My Rating: 3.7

10. “Beastie”
Phil Mic production. >>> Nice and quick; good rhymes over a decent beat, once again. My Rating: 3.9

11. “Too Close (Snippet)”
B. Oneal beat. >>> A lil’ below tha previous songs fa me; beat’s a lil’ too mainstream, and that singin’ on tha hook’s weird. “Paper chaser;” damn, tha dildos again!! No homo @ this song! My Rating: 2.8

12. “On You” Feat. Ross P
>>> This iz okay, once again. I think it works good for a collaboration, and tha hook’s soundin’ a lil’ betta after hearin’ it a few times… I dunno, should I take points off for tha last three seconds? My Rating: 3.5

13. “I’m Gon Make It” Feat. Dexter Nicholas
Phil Mic production. >>> Nice lyrics; beat’s okay, once again. Tha singin’ ain’t too bad on tha hook, either. My Rating: 3.6

14. “Outro”
>>> I thought tha audio quality was a lil’ low, at first… Lots of lyrics, here, and tha beat’s… …aight. Wow, “myspace.com/younggage225;” ever hear of Facebook? My Rating: 3.7

Overall: Turned out to be just a decent CD for me; I thought it was gonna be real good, based off tha first two songs, but it looks like you’re gonna have to work on it better! Oh yea, why tha money songs?

01. “Tired Of Playin’”
>>> Sounds like cool music, includin’ tha flow you got at tha end of each line. I also like tha parts after tha verses; good shit… My Rating: 4.1

02. “Stand In My Way” Feat. Franchise Tief
>>> Feelin’ tha production; reminds me a lil’ bit of Kevin Gates-type production… Nice rhymes you got goin’ on, here; definitely feelin’ it! Tha hook ain’t too bad wit tha singin’, although it’s cheesy. My Rating: 4.2

03. “Fresh Out The Box” Feat. Mouse & Bonka
>>> Almost sounds familiar; I’m not sure… Either way, I really like this hook wit tha repeatin’ title! X-Fyle did a nice job on this beat, and you’re doin’ a nice job on tha beat! Tha features sound good on here; nice job wit their voices and how they contribute shit wit their flows! My Rating: 4.2

04. “Sections & Bottles” Feat. Keith Jacobs
>>> What’s up wit tha stupid beat tags? Either way, tha production sounds nice, and your rhymes are good… Anotha singin’ hook; this one ain’t too bad… I have to say, good collaboration; I don’t mind, here. My Rating: 4.2

05. “Another One” Feat. Lee Banks
>>> X-Fyle beat; feelin’ tha energy you’re bringin’ in this song, especially wit tha title part in tha hook! Lee Banks sounds random, but he fits good wit this energy… My Rating: 4.2

06. “Hell Of A Night” Feat. X-Fyle
I reviewed this on X-Fyle’s compilation, not too long ago… My Current Rating: 1.2

½time: Was off to a real-good start (4.2 for tha CD rating), until that last song came in, smh! Now, it’s 3.7 for tha CD rating; gotta learn!

07. “Cruisin’” Feat. LG
>>> Sounds like a nice, laidback-type joint. Nice job wit this collaboration and laidback vibe! My Rating: 4.3

08. “Quite Like Me” Feat. Franchise Tief
>>> Just like tha X-Fyle feature, I’m skippin’ this garbage, after a few seconds! My Rating: 1.0

09. “Show Me You Want It” Feat. Arletha
>>> Not sure if this was gonna scare me, but tha hook was okay, for me, with Arletha. This barely okay for me; sounds like you’re an old man, now… My Rating: 3.3

10. “Supposed To Do”
>>> An okay song to nearly end this CD… My Rating: 3.7

11. “I’m Serious”
>>> Why tha low audio quality? Too NY for me, although it’s a lil’ catchy, includin’ tha hook. My Rating: 3.5

12. “Ghetto Symphony (Outro)”
>>> Endin’ wit an X-Fyle production and intro… This ain’t too bad, also; seems like my excitement fell off from this CD after I seen that you thought that havin’ a-tune on your tracks iz cool, smh! I like tha “son” parts on this… My Rating: 3.6

Overall: Ehh, was real nice in tha beginning, but had two jointz that really bombed! Then, it turned decent… Either way, we’ll see what else you’ll be bringin’ to tha table in tha future! Hopefully, none of it has to do wit a-tune! That shit should’ve been gone! I was, like, 20, 21 when I got tired of dat! I really would wish you were under 21, but I don’t think that’s true, when it comes to likin’ a-tune…

Rankings:

12.       “Quite Like Me” Feat. Franchise Tief 1.0
11.        “Hell Of A Night” Feat. X-Fyle 1.2

01. Kevin Gates “Sinatra”
My Current Rating: 3.6

02. X-Fyle Feat. Master P, Romeo & The Louie V Mobb “Smoke, Drank & Cut”
You know he just “Romeo” now, right, Mr. X-Fyle? >>> Sounds good wit tha title, but no way am I into tha hook!! Can’t even tell anyone’s voices; not for me, despite me likin’ tha title! My Rating: 1.4

03. X-Fyle Feat. Coppertop “Hell Of A Night”
>>> What’s this gay beginning? Aren’t I listenin’ to rappers, not singers? Not really for me; tha 2nd verse iz barely okay… My Rating: 1.2

04. Birdman “Nightclub”
Not in tha DatPiff folder… >>> Why this mainstream shit fa this compilation? I understand you produced it, but keep it undaground! Now, that’s “100!” Oh yea, no a-tune for me! My Rating: 1.0

05. Birdman Feat. Mack Maine & Drake “You Too Fine”
Why? >>> Really long intro wit tha hook, although it’s tha catchiest hook outta tha five songs, so far. Not too bad, but I don’t need to hear this pop shit on an undaground producer’s mixtape! My Rating: 3.2

06. X-Fyle Feat. Down Bad “MollyWhopped”
Forgot how it went… >>> Once again, cool beat; a great song to get fucked up to… My Current Rating: 4.3

07. X-Fyle Feat. Mookie Blakk “We Be Dummy”
That’s two “K”s in his name! BTW, I think this iz an ’09 joint Mookie sent me that was just called “Dummy”, at tha time? Lemme see… >>> This doesn’t sound like it, despite me neva gettin’ ta hear dat joint except tha beginning beat… Then again, that was just Mookie, not X-Fyle featuring Mookie… This sounds like a cool, “dummy”-type joint, as always; can’t complain… Mookie sounds cool when it comes to tha rappin’; good job. Hearin’ tha 3rd verse; must be you. You’re, like, voiceless to me; I can neva tell when it’s you on a song unless there’s a distinct voice from tha other artist… Either way, your verse’s a lil’ too mainstream for me! It bothers me to hear anything about “money!” My Rating: 3.7

08. Gyft “People See Me (They Just Don’t Know)”
First new artist on here… >>> Really? 6:25 on tha length wit a beat start like this… Okay, tha sample’s teasin’ me to like this a lil’ bit. Reminds me of anotha beat you produced. I won’t get into that, unless we talk privately ‘cause I don’t wanna put tha thief’s name out there! But, surprisingly, I’m likin’ this a lil’ bit; this rapper iz aight, but it sounds like a good joint, overall. Really long outro, here… My Rating: 4.0

09. X-Fyle Feat. Mouse “Eddie Kane”
>>> Sounds good; automatically, this tha type of shit you can’t deny! Must be you rappin’, here; it sounds good, despite some of tha mainstream-type shit you be sayin’… Tha hook’s pretty catchy; can’t help it when it comes ta a name bein’ tha title! Mouse On Tha Track on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit his entertainin’-ass! My Rating: 3.8

½time: A few songs that were really shitty, but there’s some good/decent shit on here; only a 2.9 for tha CD rating, currently. X-Fyle, it’s time ta cut on tha wack, mainstream shit!

10. Birdman “Money Machine”
Also, not in tha DatPiff folder… >>> No wonder! My Rating: 1.0

11. Mookie Blakk Feat. Sam I Am “Dat Level”
If only I would’ve gotten this CD when it came out. Then, when I uploaded tha radio edit, I could’ve put which CD it came off of. Y’all need to not delay these CDs; c’mon, now! My Current Rating: 4.3

12. X-Fyle “Life & Times”
>>> A calm beat wit some good rhymes. Somethin’ about your samples seem to catch attention. I usually hate ‘em, but this anotha one I’m feelin’. Not bad ta listen ta this; I think this iz tha “times” of tha 1984 babies! It seems like err-body from ’84’s real cool ta deal wit, or I keep dealin’ wit ’84 babies! Dumb shit! My Rating: 3.5

13. Lil’ Boosie & B.G. “Gamez”
>>> Nice beat this time, X! Good lil’ hook wit Boosie talkin’ about people takin’ him as if he was some sorta technology! Hearin’ Gizzle on tha 1st verse, and why iz he so quiet, it sounds like? It’s okay, but too quiet… Boosie’s on tha 2nd verse and he’s quiet, too; increase da vocals, X! But, I’m likin’ all these “gamez” references, such as “Pac-Man!” Tha rest of this iz good…, but quiet! My Rating: 4.4

14. X-Fyle “Flyboyz”
>>> Real nice sounds in tha beginning!! I hope this turns out ta be somethin’ real good… Good job wit tha hook, here; soundin’ nice and “fly!” Tha 1st verse sounds pretty good; why this gotta be 4:31? I like tha long lengths when there’s usually a feature or two… Almost sounds like Max Minelli on tha 2nd verse, but it’s all you? I like tha “kush” line… Despite tha long length, there’s a long beat outro; yea, let dat beat ride out!! My Rating: 4.4

15. X-Fyle Feat. Mouse & Box “Spread My Wings”
LOL! My Current Rating: 4.4

16. X-Fyle Feat. Tank Jones “Let Yourself Go”
>>> No a-tune for me! I’m too old fa dat! I’m 24, X-Fyle!! 20-muthafuckin’-4!! I think I was too old for it when I was 20, 21, too! You were 20, 21 when “Y’all Heard Of Me” started blowin’ up…; no a-tune then! Think, X-Fyle, think! My Rating: 1.0

17. Tre Virdure “Covergirl”
>>> Little would I know that an R&B song would beat a bunch of songs on here. Either way, beat sounds nice for an R&B song, and Tre sounds good, mixin’ it up wit some rap-type topics wit tha “car.” Also, interestin’ vocals durin’ tha verses… My Rating: 3.3

18. X-Fyle Feat. Lil’ Boosie, B.G. & Louisiana Ca$h “Bottom Of The Boot”
>>> Nice beat; great super Louisiana collaboration, here… My Rating: 4.2

Overall: Before I comment, I have ta say, thank God you don’t have tha BR rapper that robbed me outta a ½ stack on here! You produced fa him, and you were smart enough ta not put him on here! That’s a good look, X-Fyle; glad you’re so smart! Anyway, not tha best compilation, but I’ll give you credit for puttin’ some good songs on here.

Review #1,151: Lil' Cali (Cali Pacino) "Against All Odds"

Reviewed on 4.30.2012 (Review #1,151)

Runnin’ outta time before April ends… Lemme get into this Lil’ Cali Against All Odds review, Mr. Cali Pacino, lol, wit a lil’ bit of Super Mario RPG on tha computer! You & Nu$$ie are on my desktop background right now (includin’ me throwin’ a pic of this girl Mica from my class—ooh), as tha pics randomly rotate every 30 minutes. I see this mixtape came out ‘round March 16; prolly would’ve gotten to it much sooner if it wasn’t for me losing my equipment tha day before—still unsolved. :( Start Time: 8:11 PM | End Time: 9:20 PM

01. “Against All Odds”
Get ‘em, Cali!!! >>> You sound good on this beat; comin’ through like it’s a Louisiana Young Jeezy! Hearin’ tha 1st verse, and it sounds tight wit how you comin’ through wit tha “soda” and all dat, strictly for tha trap! Seems like when you rap, there’s neva any problems wit your life, lol; you seem to always have a positive perspective of holdin’ it down! Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too; always a positive Cali! My Rating: 4.2

02. “Turn Up”
>>> Nice beat start; let’s hear how you gon rip dis one! Ooh, you would think one of my classmates would’ve followed me on Twitter by now, but it’s you retweeting me, lol!! Retweeting that I’m reviewin’ this CD right now; that’s what’s up!! :tu Feelin’ ths catchy-ass hook wit this tight-ass-soundin’ beat!! Really feelin’ tha content you bringin’ to tha table, here, too! Tha 1st verse iz pretty tight; undeniable Cali at its finest!! I think it’s so cool to know that tha 1st time I heard of you, four years ago, you were tha age I am right now; I didn’t realize you were so young, but it’s cool to be your 2008 age, lol! Not bad wit tha 2nd verse, here; some of it sounds like tha lyrics to dat gay-soundin’ “Racks” song from last year, but at least wit you, you ain’t on no dick-suckin’-tune! Damn, 3:54 went by so fast fa only two verses? Breezin’ by here! My Rating: 4.4

03. “Dat Dick” Feat. Swagga Fresh Freddie
Mouse’s current ID name? >>> Rofl, I started laughin’ at tha hook before I even looked at tha ID; funny shit wit J Buc on tha hook!! If I could get dat “Dumb Dick” on tha radio, you know this’ll be somethin’ I’ll put on my radio show soon! After tha controversy last year, I branched out wit lettin’ anything on tha air, as long as I air it! I remember gettin’ your song wit Level on tha air, last year, thinkin’, “I can break barriers wit x-rated content!” Catchy job wit tha 1st verse, includin’ tha title comin’ outta nowhere, here and there, or should I say, “cumin’,” lol? Good job from Mouse on tha 2nd verse, too; y’all really tearin’ dis shit up!! This iz what a hit song sounded like, back in tha dayz I first got influenced by music, back in tha real-early 2000s!! You’re on tha 3rd verse, and it’s undeniable, lol!! Rofl @ all tha nuttin’ on tha hook!!! :rofl My Rating: 4.8

04. “Nasty” Feat. Kevin Gates
Looks like an oldie? See a “Nasty” (Gates) title from ’09 in my iTunes library, so let’s see if this iz similar… >>> Sounds a lil’ different, like tha other one was better, but this iz some shit I can give a plus to, too. Lol @ tha Juvie—oh wait, that’s not a sample; it’s Gates on tha hook. Um, sounded a lil’ like that YC “Racks” dude, at first, but I can resist gettin’ grossed out by it! Gates iz on tha 2nd verse, and it’s catchy; a lil’ afraid he gon pull some A-tune, though… Kevin Gates at its decent vibe, here; sounds like a Young Money-turned Gates, here, wit tha content, lyrics, and how he sounds… See, you at least have some X-rated shit goin’ on wit tha 3rd verse; lol, you’re on a mission fa dat pussy, and to have your “meat” sold, lol! My Rating: 4.1

05. “Came Up”
Nice short titles, lol. >>> A Mod Productions beat, here; sounds like you’re seduced on tha hook, like you’re in tha best mood, lol! I’m feelin’ it, in a way, and you’re doin’ a nice job wit tha 1st verse; feelin’ your drug-related content ta mix wit dis! Nice job wit tha 2nd verse, too; a neva-stop-grindin’ Cali at its finest, lol!! Up, my desktop background just changed to my gurl Alexia & I at Camelbeach! My Rating: 4.2

06. “Get On Your Job” Feat. K.T.
>>> Time fa anotha Mod Productions beat…; a lil’ scary wit tha singin’ beginning, so lemme see how I can handle this… Tha beat ain’t too bad fa you ta rap on, here; I like your not-bein’-able-ta-deal-wit-this-situation-type rap, here, on tha 1st verse… Lol @ tha lyrics on tha hook; not bad wit this singin’, here, as it doesn’t sound too scary after all… Lol @ “them hoes callin’ you a shit;” “a shit,” lol? I think that’s funny that there’s an “a” to describe “shit,” lol! Interestin’ dialogue goin’ on wit tha 2nd verse, here… My Rating: 4.1

07. “Me & My Thugs” Feat. J Buc
>>> Ooh, J Buc beat tag; not lookin’ at tha ID, yet, so let’s see if this iz “Stuck Up”, lol? Random guess, but it’s not; ooh, a new song! Smh, no J Buc sourced on tha ID? He’s doin’ a nice job on tha hook wit this “thug”-type topic!! Here you are on tha 1st verse, and whoa, you’re “a bear on tha block, and [they’re] a lil’ cub?” Maybe that line was a lil’ before its time, Cali, ‘cause last Monday night, there was a bear and cubs at where I’m gonna be goin’ for my internship next week (tha local news station); pretty scary, lol!! You’re doin’ a nice job wit tha 2nd verse, and speakin’ of dat “ice cream man,” I think tha weather’s finally on a hot, consistent path, here, since it almost peaked at 70 today!! Last night, it was 30, and tha day sucked, lol; removing suckiness = a hot day, literally! Lol, these two-verse songs are like teases to me!! Nice way ta follow up dat “Stuck Up” collab!! My Rating: 4.7

08. “Killin’ ‘Em” Feat. Carter Boy & Lil’ Mal
Got Carter Boy ta freestyle fa one of my radio shows not too long ago; lookin’ forward ta hearin’ dis!! >>> Anotha Mod beat, and this iz pretty nice; I luv your character on tha hook, Cali, lol! That “Ugh!really stands out pretty nice as some catchy-ass shit!! I’m likin’ your “shopping” shit on tha 1st verse, even switchin’ to tha “streets” and tha “trap,” lol; you’re takin’ tha words outta my mouth befo’ I even get ta type ‘em, lol! Hearin’ Carter Boy start tha 2nd verse, and tha rhymes are good, even though tha “Turn My Swag On” flow’s kinda scarin’ me, especially in 2012? Tight rhymes on this beat, though; go, Carter!! Okay, let’s hear this Mal dude on tha 3rd verse… Sounds like he downin’ people, lol; at least he above ‘em, and hopefully, I’m on a good-enough level fa him ta appreciate what I do! Even though Mal reppin’ “Baton Rouge,” Cali, you make this Ponchatoulalicious, lol! My Rating: 4.4

09. “New World” Feat. Carter Boy
Anotha collab! >>> Sounds like it would be a Mod beat, but I don’t think it iz ‘cause of no beat tag… Hearin’ Carter on tha hook and it sounds like a mainstream-soundin’ song; I can handle this, though. Now, time fa tha rhymes, wit Cali on tha 1st verse… Nice rhymes ta hold this down; Cali, you gon be prolly on my Top 100 Most-Played Songs While @ MU countdown, comin’ soon! As soon as I get a grip of what my Summer schedules are at my college (final two semesters), we’ll see when I can start calculatin’ all tha spins (neva even looked at what could even make it, but I know I played you frequently). Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ good, too; what else could I say? My Rating: 4.0

½time: CD’s soundin’ pretty consistent, so far; 4.3 for tha CD rating, currently!!!

10. “Our Bitch” Feat. Lil’ Mista & Coppertop
Looks like an interestin’ conversation, especially wit a title like dis!! >>> Rofl, you’re so hilarious wit tha X-rated lyrics on tha hook!!! :rofl Fuckin’ luvin’ it!!! Even comin’ through nicely on tha 1st verse, too; your character iz outta this world, Cali! Havin’ character easily makes you a real dude; rofl, this 1st verse’s too crazy!! Lol @ tha eatin’ “dat meat” line! Here’s tha 2nd verse, and it’s Mista (Cain), comin’ through wit catchy rhymes… Ugh, sounded a lil’ A-tune-y at 2:23, when Mista goes, “down,” on tha adlib, lol… Lemme hear what this Coppertop dude has ta offer on tha 3rd verse… Sounds like some recent Thug Brothers-type lyrics, and I’m likin’ what’s goin’ on, here. My Rating: 4.3

11. “Shawty”
>>> Thought I’d feel uncomfortable to announce tha producer but luckily, it’s just Mod. For this song, it’s not too bad; nice and above-average for me, includin’ your okay rhymes on tha 1st verse… Lol, some nice, sexual-type shit fa tha 2nd verse! Can only invision what all this iz like, lol; must be a mission ta neva give up when you in dat woman, right, Cali? My Rating: 3.8

12. “She Ain’t Gotta Know” Feat. Tasha Catour
Let’s hear what this collab gon be like; seems like you were havin’ dat good sex on tha previous songs, so now, here’s a female on tha feature for ya! >>> Kinda don’t know exactly what ta make wit tha hook, but I think her “ooOOooOooOooOoh” iz pretty catchy! A lil’ on tha mainstream tip, here, but you always get a plus from me, Cali; you’re super-consistent wit what you be doin’!! Here you are on tha 2nd verse, once again, comin’ through wit some nice, mainstreamish rhymes fa tha streets… My Rating: 3.9

13. “Come Through” Feat. Savage & Tank Jones
Lol, I thought it was gonna be a Kevin Gates feature ‘cause one of his pics just came up on my desktop background. Anyway, looks really anticipatin’!!! >>> Whoo, Savage on tha hook and (possibly) tha beat!!! Really tight wit how he comin’ “through” on tha hook!!! Ooh, even on tha 1st verse, too?! Cali, you know dat I got a hold of Savage fa an interview three months ago, to celebrate his birthday; hope you get at me soon! Would luv ta show you some extended luv on my radio show, ya feel me?! Savage also had tha last saved interview, via tape, before I lost one of my interview tapes with my equipment (tape of January 23, 2012 – March 15, 2012). :( Here comes Cali on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some shiny rhymes, lol! Good job, Cali; you definitely came “through” wit dat hot shit!! Now, time fa some Tank Jones, 2012 style fa a collaboration! Sounds really good; sounds like some tight, cocky shit, but in a tight way, to where I feel like I’m a part of tha life of tha Tank Jones party, lol! Savage neva ages when it comes to tha rappin’, or whateva he wants ta do!! Hope we get ta do a movie someday, especially since there are about SEVEN videos I was in that were released within these past few weeks!!! My Rating: 4.8

14. “Deliver Me”
>>> Ooh, hot production goin’ on, here; nice shit you rappin’ ‘bout, too, Cali, on a non-stop grind!! Tha hook’s pretty tight, too; Cali bein’ delivered to tha mic, tha stage, tha streets, tha etc., here, lol! Good job wit tha 2nd verse, too; “unborn baby girl”? You finna be a dad now, Cali? Sounds like Tha Evolution Of Lil’ Cali! That looks like a great title fa somethin’! Remember me when I say it! Almost sounds like one of them UTP boyz at tha end, like Skip; good lil’ speech… My Rating: 4.3

15. “Get It Back” Feat. Kevin Gates
Oh no, not 2009!!! Lol, I felt like such a loser back then; no wonder why you neva responded to me back then!! I’m on such a much-smarter level, these dayz!!! My Current Rating: 4.5

16. “Fuckin’ Right” Feat. Milliyone & Savage
Lol @ Foxx bein’ sourced as “Milliyone” as a stage name, here; lemme hear what we got here… >>> Sounds a lil’ familiar wit tha sound and hook, except tha title; really sounds nice and smooth, delivered by Savage!! Uh oh, a Twitter interaction; let’s see what it iz… Ooh, ironic for this song? @Erotic_dancer followin’ me must be nice fa this song, lol! Good job wit your rhymes, here, Cali; you know you one of tha kings of that X-rated shit! Speakin’ of X-rated, sorry, but Foxx iz a lil’ older than you, so he might be tha king! Lol, Mr. “Put-Her-In-A-Chicken-Wang,” lol! Really likin’ tha X-rated shit he spittin’ on tha 2nd verse; undeniable and entertainin’, Foxx! Get @ me, too; there’s potential for a freestyle or somethin’ for my radio show, Foxx… We got Sav on tha 3rd verse, here, and lol, tha ages keep goin’ up, so you know we got tha boss, here, lol! Really feelin’ tha continuous, X-rated rhymes; just like Sav says: “Shit yeah,” lol!! My Rating: 4.6

17. “Money Right (BR Remix)” Feat. Lil’ Mista, Young Ready & Level
Oh no, faggy 2010 now! Thought I was really consistent then, but everything I did went sour! Now, time ta focus on myself; let’s see this official remix… >>> No Level in tha ID, rofl? Kinda like how I kept seein’ you not sourced on tha ID, at times, Cali, lol! Not bad wit tha updated rhymes, here, but when it comes to listin’ tha producer, I get distracted in another dimension to where I know dat I love when Neon Hitch says, “But I can fuck you betta!” :) Mista’s on tha 2nd verse, and I guess it goes wit this song? Kinda iffy wit these “stacks” rhymes, especially when they’re obsessive… We got Ready on tha 3rd verse, and it sounds good wit how he comes through wit his hood-soundin’ voice; rather would hear this voice on a street song than a “money” song, though. All this “money,” Ready? When he gon spend some on me? He deserves to; my services are so for tha low, too! My Rating: 4.6

18. “Bend Over” Feat. Level
This that song I played on tha radio, to where I took my content to x-rated heights? >>> Oh wait, this sounds a lil’ faster and iz produced by EQ? I know tha titles are similar; might’ve heard this before (don’t exactly remember), but you know it’s jammin’!! I like how tha beat has a faster vibe than typical BR songs; EQ seems to melt into tha beats like chocolate, lol; they turn into addictive songs! My Current Rating: 4.6

Overall: A nice piece of work, Cali; teamin’ up wit J Buc & Savage fa some of those productions was A+, right there!! They easily were my top-rated songs, and I hope you keep up tha great work!! If we do team up for tha radio show interview, I promise, I’ll have an all-Lil’ Cali show (startin’ in a few weeks, after two weeks, I’m gonna have an additional radio show on Sunday, where I’m playin’ tha same artist for two hours straight; I know you have a shitload of music ta qualify for that, too)! Really wish we could’ve done tha interview last Saturday ‘cause I wound up havin’ complete self-destruction on tha air, as I got dissed on Twitter about 15x in a row! :( But, havin’ somethin’ iz better than not pullin’ through on a consistent radio show like mine, ya feel me?!
