Broadcasting from an abandoned room, here in Northeast PA, it's ya boy, FrankieThaLuckyDog here, sadly reportin' anotha tragic loss in tha Louisiana rap community!
Troy Hatch, known by his stage name, Hatch Boy, passed away from a fatal heart attack on Sunday, April 21, 2024! He was only 37 years-old.
Hatch was born on February 15, 1987 & was later recognized in tha undaground of Baton Rouge, LA's rap scene. During 2005, he linked up with Beelow to collab on "Gangsta Muzik", from Louisianimals Beelow, Boosie & Juvenile's Louisiana's Sickest compilation. That same year, Hatch linked up with Ponchatoula's Lil' Cali on his Bayou Classic release. Hatch started building his popularity in tha undaground more, once 2008 hit. From linkin' up with Boosie's Bad Azz Entertainment label, to linkin' up with Bad Azz's late Bleek, Hatch shined with Bleek in 2008 by releasing tha track "Boyz In The Hood". Other feature presentations by Hatch included bein' featured in 2009 on Baton Rouge's Big Head's Realest Of The Trillest, as well as Lil' Boosie's Thug Passion (The Mixtape). Fa 2010, Hatch featured himself on Louisiana's Cartune Netwerk & DJ 5150's The Boot 2 (Free Boosie Edition) & DJ 5150 & Dre's N.O. To The B.R. 3. Durin' 2011, Hatch featured himself on Louisiana's TreDay's Louisiana's Time (Part 2). Dominatin' 2012's undaground, Hatch was featured on DJ 5150, DJ Hektik, Big Jay, DJ Dow Jones & Dre's N.O. In 2013, Lil' Boosie & Baton Rouge's Sav Sinatra dropped Southside Heroes: The Best Of Boosie On Savage Trackz; Hatch was featured on a 2008 Boosie track, "Never Been A Bitch". Also throwin' back, Baton Rouge's Big Blaze released his 2nd Shot Promo that year, featurin' a 2005 track, "Y'all Pussy" feat. Hatch Boy & Big Bandit. Hatch continued to keep life goin' as an '80s baby till his life caught up with him. On Sunday, April 21, 2024, Hatch was pronounced dead of a heart attack! Earlier, on February 15th of this year, Hatch only turned 37 years-old.

Keepin’
my reviewz goin’, as I’m almost to my 2,000th review! This next one
iz my 1,997th review: DJ
Tremon Trippy Tuesday 2, six
years after 2015’s 1stTrippy
Tuesday, courtesy of M.O.B. Entertainment! I’m honored ta review this one
‘cause, instead of just havin’ a drop on certain peoples’ releases, this tha 1st
tyme I’m actually featured with a
track on a compilation! Gotta luv tha honor! Start Tyme: 9:03 AM | End Tyme:
10:05 AM
Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!
I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long
as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and
then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a
song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6
rating, I pretty much really love it,
as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I
hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type
before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song;
anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m
listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have
auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money (which I consider
‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!
01.
UGK “Swishas & Dosha”
>>> You may say, “Seven years later,” but my brother been gone
six/same with tha 1stTrippy
Tuesday? Or, did you release it secretly in 2014? Anyway, good lil’ intro
from you & I can’t wait till I appear on here! With that bein’ said,
hearin’ Pimp on tha 1st verse & he str8; mighta been betta if he
spit more shit about bein’ loaded. Anyway, good lil’ country-rap sound on tha
hook from him, here, with tha singin’ & luv for tha highs! Also, Bun B
sounds good with his consistent, regular-rapped flow on tha 2nd
verse; good shit… My Rating: 3.7
02.
Juicy J feat. Pimp C “Smokin’, Rollin’”
>>> Lol, just a quick check-in from Bald-Head B—oh wait, after a few
seconds, it wasn’t just a “waddup,” here. Good lil’ intro & sounds good
with tha hook, here; all about tha “smokin’” & “rollin’”! Hearin’ tha 1st
verse from Juicy & it sounds a lot more like his 1st self with
his organic flow; glad he don’t sound like tha mainstream Juicy, here. With
that bein’ said, keep “smokin’”; keep “rollin’”! Keepin’ it goin’ wit Pimp on
tha 2nd verse & I’m glad he has his organic flow on tha rappin’,
too; gotta stay original! So glad he was for tha undaground & undadogz,
just like myself…! My Rating: 4.3
03.
Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa “Talent Show”
>>> Nice intro from you, courtesy of tha “Florida Blvd.” destination… Compared to
tha previous two tracks on here, I’m not really tha craziest about Mr. Khalifa,
when it comes to a southern/Louisiana
compilation. Tha hook like a cheesy pop-rap vibe, here; even tha title doesn’t
have a smoke reference in tha title…! Continuin’ on, Wiz iz on tha 1st
verse & it’s str8; just sounds like he wants to rap with a boring flow,
here. My Rating: 3.0
04.
Lil’ Boosie feat. Pimp C “I Smoke Blunts”
>>> Gotta luv tha throwback Boosie, here; true Louisianimal to tha
fullest! Great job with tha 1st verse ova this beat, Boosie; all
about bein’ true to da streetz! Also, a nice lil’ hook from Pimp with tha
“blunts,” here; gotta dig it! Mo Boosie on tha 2nd verse, here,
comin’ through wit a shmoker’s “warrant” nightmare; deep but great ta hear,
here… My Rating: 4.3
05.
Mystikal “Still Smokin’”
>>> Luv his energy & aggression to where he only needs 81 seconds
of Tremon’s tyme to set tha score high! I feel like I’ve felt him more on tha
mic, as far as his aggression & delivery; this just seems like it’s
okay/str8. I’ll still rate it as if I “love it,” tho, due to it bein’ Mystikal.
My Rating: 4.0
06.
Big Bandit “Henny Straight”
Producer: Playa Pizzle
Originally
known tha “Straight” as “Str8” but this cool, still… Anyway, gotta luv Big
Bandit choosin’ this Lil’ Cali
sample fa tha hook—I should say, Playa Pizzle, since he produced it. Tha hook
pretty dope & I’m glad Tremon supports tha drinkin’ of “Henny Straight”, straight from tha bottle! With that
bein’ said, Big Bandit holds this shit down fa us ‘80s babies on tha 1st
verse, comin’ through, “jiggin’ in this thang” & shit; nice &
unstoppable! Also, tha 2nd verse cool, too; all tha DJs he shouts
out, too, iz what’s up…! “Tremon”; he knows! My Current Rating: 4.6
07.
Playboy XO feat. OBN Jay “To The Roof”
>>> Anotha hit-soundin’ track fa tha streetz & clubz of B.R.,
here; gotta appreciate Playboy! Props fa him comin’ through wit tha “To The
Roof” action on tha hook, here; energy fa dayz!! Even on tha 1st
verse, Playboy got this shit on lock; just luv how he comes through wit it! He
may have a similar sound from his “Booted Up” shit but with this formula, he
can keep consistently stackin’! Keep “jiggin’ out [yo] draws” & bein’ “To
The Roof”! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse & OBN Jay comin’ through with a
nice contribution fa this, too; glad Playboy gettin’ his shine on! My Rating: 4.8
08.
Fabo feat. Jeezy “Geeked Up (Remix)”
>>> Sounds okay/good fa a non-Louisiana track; Jeezy’s soundin’ good
with his flow on tha 1st verse. I literally feel like I’m in tha
2000’s with Jeezy, again; great job… Hearin’ tha hook & it literally sounds
like an asthma attack? Cheesy; like, coughin’ coulda helped, lol? Fabo on tha 2nd
verse & he sounds like he was from so long ago. Like, his solo shit started
14 years ago, with that “Tattoo” shit? Crazy; I still feel like I’m 18/19, tho,
only with evolved wayz. Seems like it’s an okay verse from him but it seems
like it’s from so long ago or somethin’, compared to these current tymes… My Rating: 3.6
09.
Lil’ Boosie feat. Webbie “Smokin’ On Purple”
>>> Sounds like a good lil’ young Boosie, here; nice beat & how
energized he iz fa tha 1st verse! Go, Boosie! Gotta luv how Boosie
comin’ through on tha hook; all about tha “ease” of tha “mind”! No room fa
Webbie? My Rating: 4.2
10.
Three 6 Mafia “Where’s Da Bud”
>>> Doesn’t sound like Three 6, here; sounds like their production,
tho. Tha hook sounds like it’s from tha ‘90s & tha verse that’s here sounds
like some random rapper. My Rating: 3.1
11.
Webbie feat. Lil’ Phat “Doe Doe”
I reviewed this one all tha way back on February 26, 2008, 1,930 reviewz ago
(Webbie’s Savage Life 2 was my 67th
review). Glad to see that I gave it a 4.1, durin’ those younger tymes; I wanna
see if I’m still feelin’ tha same with my rating… *Re-Hears…* It sounds betta,
especially hearin’ how much betta ’08 was fa me, now! I’ll raise my original
rating to a higher one… My Current
Rating: 4.4
12.
Frank Calhoune feat. Level “I’m Edibled Up”
Producer: DJ B Real
Lol,
gotta luv it, especially when it follows a title that’s one of my favorite
people in BR (“Doe Doe”; only difference iz my patna, Boosie’s cousin, iz with a dash:
Doe-Doe)! Anything anybody need ta know about my lyrics & how I come up
with what I come up with, here’s tha link of how I break ‘em down: https://frankiethaluckydog.blogspot.com/2021/04/album-03-frank-calhoune-autistic-stoner.html
As
far as tha track, itself, ironically, I wanted to start with “feat.” as tha ID
but I tried “x” to represent tha strength of tha collab. However, I can’t
figure out how all tha dance/EDM artists have “x” in their IDs. Anyway, I kept
“feat.” & you were tha 1st one to have “feat.” in tha ID, which
I later considered. With that bein’ said, I luv how I had all energy applied to
this collab. Tha way that I visioned it & everythang, I just wanted tha edibles to speak! Luved that I was on 30
mg of edibles on this recording, just
lettin’ it be known on tha hook! It’s all about tha effects of tha edible! With me on tha 1st
verse, I just luv how I add tha “chiggy-chiggy” to “chocolate,” just bein’ a
human DJ, with my voice/flow! Also, havin’ tha “I’m edibled up” part from tha
hook to repeat 4x on my verse? That’s to consistently pump tha energy into
people! Also, Level sounds dope with his collab, of course; luv tha energy he
brought to tha table, of course! Only thang iz he was afraid of tha edible I went to give him, durin’ tha
videoshoot. It wasn’t even potent but he acted like it was gon make him crazy,
smh. Either way, definitely a highlight in my career & I will continue to
bring it! My Current Rating: 5.0
13.
Playboi Peezo “Incoherent Thoughts”
>>> Beat ain’t too bad, here; sounds like tha regular shit from tha
trap-rap shit that’s out, these dayz. Hearin’ tha 1st verse & I
ain’t feel it too much with tha “money” shit, at first. However, as tha verse
continues, dude gets more consistent with tha rhymes & doesn’t stop; hope
tha catchiness can remain till 2:33! Hearin’ tha hook & I’m real glad he
split tha verses up with a hook; I almost was afraid it was gon be just one
verse! Tha hook dope, as he a lil’ distorted in tha background with tha pill feelin’ & shit; gotta let it be
known! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse & it he pretty motivated/focused,
still; gotta luv what he bringin’! My
Rating: 4.5
14.
Famous “This Blunt”
Lol, I thought this looked familiar, just like tha last Trippy Tuesday; welcome home, accordin’ to you, Tremon! My Current Rating: 4.5
½tyme: Definitely sounds betta
than tha 1stTrippy Tuesday,
so far; really feelin’ tha consistency with most of tha tracks! So glad my
energy & contribution iz a part of this mixtape compilation; definitely
goes well with err-body, here! Currently, for this release, it’s a 4.1-rated
compilation, so far; keep goin’, Tremon! Tha Trippy Tuesdays & that truck of yours!
15.
Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa “Put It In A Zag”
>>> Sounds like an okay beat & contribution, once again; at least
there’s more Snoop… Hearin’ Wiz on tha verse & he sounds okay, switchin’
with Snoop with tha rhymes; not bad, even tho more pop-rappy, once again… My Rating: 2.9
16.
Nas “Smokin’”
>>> He’s a lil’ too NY fa this mixtape compilation; more on tha
rappin’ side than tha laidback, “Smokin’” side… With that bein’ said, I don’t
really have much feedback fa dis; hook cool but if I was listenin’ in ’02 or
somethin’… My Rating: 2.1
17.
Jay-Z “Feelin’ It”
I usually despise Jigga & have known this one since my younger dayz, too. Anyway,
should just despise this fa appearin’ but if this was your truck playin’ this,
it would be a nice blend. Remember that this review iz a review perspective vs.
tha truck (future/current) perspective. With that bein’ said, Jigga prolly
coulda been left out. Also, how iz he even on your Bandcamp upload, as well as
tha other mainstream ones? Ain’t that DatPiff-like, not to sell? But yeah, I
have to admit, I do feel his energy fa this mixtape & tha fact that he
“Feelin’ It”; I won’t be too harsh… My
Current Rating: 3.5
18.
Lil’ Wayne “La La La”
>>> These younger Wayne
dayz…; I don’t recognize this one, exactly, but this was when his rhymes were
consistent, bar for bar…! Tha beat ain’t too bad but more on tha Jigga/Nas tip,
as far as tha production goes. Tha hook kinda cheesy with these kids singin’;
doesn’t seem so shmoky fa me… Tha 2nd verse from him sounds good
with tha consistent rhymes; I’ll give him his props… My Rating: 4.2
19.
Lil’ Wayne “Kush”
Also reviewed on February 27, 2008, but 1,928 reviewz ago, lol… Lil’ Wayne’s In The Carter Chronicles…! My Current Rating: 4.7
20.
Master P “Smokin’ Weed In My Cadillac”
>>> Long with tha 54-second intro, here, especially fa this mixtape
that has tracks only seconds longer, overall… Anyway, after tha long intro of
tha ‘90s, tha hook’s dope from P, here. I don’t remember if I reviewed this
somewhere along tha line, since I got through almost all tha ‘90s releases in
my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon.
However, P sounds good with tha verse, here; glad he holdin’ it down like a
leader & comin’ through fa tha “weed in” a “Cadillac,” here! My Rating: 4.4
21.
Mofo “Rain Man” My Current Rating: 3.2
22.
Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa “It Could Be Easy”
>>> Sounds like it’s followin’ a slower, boring flow, here; I feel
like I can’t anticipate tha titles when they don’t have a shmoke/high reference
in ‘em… Hearin’ tha hook & it’s ehh; it doesn’t need feedback. Hearin’ tha
1st verse from Wiz & it’s str8; not bad but why this gets 3:55
on tha length? Seems too boring fa that length on this mixtape… Wiz made me
feel like I was real young when he said that he was a “Game Genie”;
interestin’… Hearin’ Snoop on tha 2nd verse & it’s aight; again,
there coulda been somethin’ else (e.g., Louisiana)
in its spot, here… My Rating: 2.4
23.
OutKast “Crumblin’ Herb”
>>> It feels weird ta be reviewin’ OutKast… I would think with how
much they sold out in 2003/2004 that they would be far past tha “herb,” these dayz. However, this b4 tha sellout tymes
& it’s soundin’ good with 3K on tha 1st verse. Hearin’ tha hook
& it cool with tha ‘90s vibe, but through Atlanta; still good, tho. Hearin’ a young-ass
Big Boi on tha 2nd verse & he sounds consistent/good with his
old-school flow/rhymes; that “’94 Lexus,” huh, Big Boi? All about tha ‘9-4! Overall, again, this cool but I
woulda felt more appreciated if it was a Louisiana
artist rather than them. My Rating: 3.9
24.
Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa “That Good”
>>> Glad these two are puttin’ a shmoke reference in tha title, this
tyme… Hearin’ tha hook & it’s aight; again, it’s not tha shit I’d go duffy
over. Hearin’ tha 1st verse from Snoop & it’s aight; good lyrics
about tha shmoke, at least… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse from Wiz &
it’s whateva with these lyrics; they’re not gonna make me jump…! Startin’ ta
sound a lil’ more on tha wack side, as tha 2nd verse continues… My Rating: 2.6
25.
Future “The Percocet & Stripper Joint”
Dear God, why him, now? >>> Sounds like tha beat’s almost similar but
more southern than tha joint I just heard from Snoop & Wiz? Hearin’ tha 1st
verse & it’s whateva; glad his voice ain’t as annoyin’ as it used ta be.
Hearin’ tha hook & it’s almost wtf-like; he sounds like he’s gettin’ more
& more fucked up, as tha hook progresses… I think that’s interestin’ how he
put it; at least he ain’t all annoying. Hearin’ tha 2nd verse &
it’s str8; I’m still not gonna jump fa joy wit this one, tho. My Rating: 3.3
26.
Devin The Dude “Please Pass That To Me”
>>>
Outta all tha non-Louisiana artists on this release, I think Devin tha best,
when it comes to tha laidback, high-type of music. Even tho this more on tha
slow side, at least we’re toward tha end of tha mixtape to bring out that
slower vibe. Hearin’ him on tha hook & it’s pretty zoned-out; gotta respect
it… Hearin’ him on tha 1st verse & it’s decent with tha rhymes;
not my favorite but I’ll give him his props… Tha rest of this seems like it
drags? Guess I need a blunt? Not that bad, overall; just a lil’ supa-slow fa my
tastes… My Rating: 3.4
27.
Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa “French Inhale”
>>> Weird hook & random voice; why it gotta be a “French Inhale”,
tho? Like, are we fuckin’ & inhalin’
at tha same tyme? Hearin’ tha 1st verse from Wiz & it’s aight,
once again; glad tha lyrics all about tha “smoke,” at least! Gotta “smell it
all through [tha] clothes”; that’s that cologne! Keepin’ it movin’ with Snoop
on tha 2nd verse & it’s soundin’ okay; nothin’ really fa me ta
say… My Rating: 3.2
28.
Devin The Dude “Do You Love Gettin’ High”
>>> Even more laidback than tha previous Devin track, here; sounds
like a nice lil’ hook… Hearin’ tha 1st verse & he sounds great
with this chill, shmoked-out perspective; gotta keep it up! Glad he 50, still
doin’ it all shmoked out; shmokin’ don’t come wit an age! After tha 2nd
hook, it went a lil’ dry fa a sec.; no more rappin’? At least it’s a nice
break? My Rating: 3.8
29.
Devin The Dude “Doobie Ashtray”
Endin’ with a 5:17 length? Did you just wanna shout out OMG JT with tha length,
since it’s his birthday length (5/17)? >>> Hearin’ this & you
sound good on tha intro, Tremon; sounds like a nice way ta end thangz. Hearin’
tha hook & it’s really laidback; luv how he rhymes tha title with “why’d
they do me that way?”! I feel like each Devin track keeps gettin’ more &
more hazy/loaded, with how it sounds? Tha 1st verse from him cool
with this laidbackness; I’ll leave it at that. Keepin’ it goin’ with tha 2nd
verse & it’s soundin’ good, with his laidback-ass; keep it movin’…! A nice
lil’ interlude of mixin’ after tha 3rd hook, here; definitely nice!
Luv how tha laidback, loadedness doesn’t get boring fa this 317 seconds of a
track! Tha rest of this still sounds nice with tha mixin’ & bein’ lost in
this “doobie” effect! I like how he “found a bag of weed,” toward tha end;
dope! I’m gonna be generous with this one, especially since it ended thangz off
right! My Rating: 4.1
Overall: Thought this was a great
release, for tha most part; tha main highlight iz tha Louisiana music, of course. Glad you
resurrected your Trippy Tuesday
compilations & I hope you continue with more of ‘em, especially for your
truck! Seems like this review went by quick; guess that’s tha plus for havin’
so many tracks? Keep it movin’, big homie; thanx fa tha luv! Hope more of my
other tracks hit your Trippy Tuesday
compilations, especially since most of ‘em are all about tha highs!

I made this video in honor of Lafayette, LA producer, Mikki Gunz's birthday, today.
Bein' a Louisiana supporter since October 11, 2007, I done been around a lot of history. Some history I've been around includes what I like to call "jackin' 4 trax," where someone makes a track & then, a similar new track iz made by someone else.
Tha examples I talk about include: • T-Lo "All Day" (2007) vs. Derty feat. Lil' Boosie "Uh Oh" (2008) • Ville Boyz "Straight Stupid" (2009) vs. Lil' Phat & Webbie "Roof" (2010) • Killa McClain & Hollyhood Bay Bay "It's Up There" (2020) vs. WNC Whop Bezzy "It's Up" (2020)
"All Day" & "Uh Oh" were both produced by Shonta; "Straight Stupid" & "Roof" were both produced by DJ B-Real; "It's Up There" & "It's Up" were both produced by Mikki Gunz.
Yesterday, which was tha day b4 Mikki Gunz's birthday, Baton Rouge underground rapper, WNC Whop Bezzy, dropped tha new track, "It's Up". However, throughout this year, Louisiana's Killa McClain & Hollyhood Bay Bay already had tha radioz & streetz buzzin' wit "It's Up There". I had already been supportin' "It's Up There" fa a minute, includin' that I have an upcoming commercial series promoting tha track comin' up on Sunday, November 1st. I felt that by Whop Bezzy doin' what he did behind "It's Up There"'s back had to be advised.

Not
that often do I get tha time, especially durin’ tha middle of editin’ a
documentary, that I can get a CD on its release date & review it in tha
same day. Lucky for Baton Rouge
producer/rapper, $hop With Ken, here’s
that moment! Courtesy of Forever Young Entertainment, here goes my review for
his brand-new release, Platinum Status, entirely produced
by Ken, himself! I have to say, I’m diggin’ tha front cover; reminds me of tha
‘90s Cash Money/Pixel graphic covers! Start
Time: 6:48 PM | End Time: 7:34 PM
Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!
I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long
as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and
then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a
song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6
rating, I pretty much really love it,
as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I
hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type
before “ >>> “ iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything
after I type “ >>> “ iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening
to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your
vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’
topics), I’m not buyin’ it!
01.
Lil’ Phat “Intro”
… >>> DJ Dow Jones on tha hostin’, here… Got Phat comin’ through on

No
Track #2 but goes right into #3? Just gonna consider this one #2, tho…
>>> Sounds good ta hear Loc on a beat by you, Ken…; catchy lil’ hook…
Just regular rappin’, here, but I like tha beat more than Loc on here, tho… I’m
glad he got shit on lock, still, without agin’… Hearin’ Max on tha 2nd
verse and it sounds good; nice job wit this shit, as always… Anotha dude that
consistently brings tha heat without droppin’ like a fly! My Rating: 4.3
03.
Lil’ Soulja Slim & Kidd Kidd “My Comitty”

04.
TY feat. Hot Boy Turk “‘Bout Whatever”
>>>
This has more of a Cash Money feel to it and I’m likin’ it a lil’ betta than
tha Lil’ Soulja Slim track… Hearin’ tha 1st verse from TY and it’s
pretty nice; definitely feelin’ this vibe… Hearin’ tha hook and yeah, just
luvin’ tha Cash Money vibe, once again! It’s almost as if Cash Money was an
undaground secret, again, str8 from tha Internet! Keepin’ it movin’ wit Turk on
tha 2nd verse, doin’ his thang, too; can’t deny it! My Rating: 4.3
05.

>>> I like that intro from you, Ken… Hearin’ tha beat and it sounds
pretty dope, so far; can’t wait ta hear…! Tha hook’s pretty tight, here, wit how
dude reppin’ fa all these hoodz and shit… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and
it sounds like dude holdin’ shit down; for tha streetz! Sounds like a different
dude on tha 2nd verse, here? Two different voices? Either way, pure Baton Rouge, undaground
music at its finest, here…! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it sounds more
like dude on tha 1st verse, here… Needless to say, it sounds nice,
of course… My Rating: 4.4
06.
$hop With Ken feat. Pat-Pat “Playin’ Wit”
Lookin’
forward to hearin’ you as tha main artist! Also, my next Louisiana trip, I gotta try and link up
witchu, this time! >>> I already really like tha start wit tha beat,
here… Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds less pure than tha beat intro but still
sounds like a nice lil’ track fa tha undaground… Hearin’ tha 1st
verse from Pat-Pat and it sounds off-beat, smh… Aight but damn, tha
disappointments are gettin’ in tha way from a great intro… Talkin’ toward tha
end, here… I’ono, I ain’t hear much Ken? I’ono, but this ain’t really go down
like I wanted it to… My Rating: 3.2

of this nice but I can’t tell when it’s your voice, Ken… My Rating: 3.9
½time: A 4.1-rated CD, so far; nice shit, I guess?
Diggin’ most of it…
09.
$hop With Ken & YB “Yungin Fasho”
Familiar? >>> Sounds like a nice lil’ intro… Guess this your 2017
voice on tha 1st verse, Ken ‘cause I know what YB’s voice iz… Oh
wait, I know this one; my mind somewhere else, lol… I don’t feel like lookin’
but nice job wit you on tha 1st verse, here… Also, a lil’ betta wit
tha hook from YB and how he picks tha track up… My Rating: 4.3
10.
$hop With Ken feat. Jus Dillon “Both Sides”
>>> A nice lil’ slow track, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and
it’s decent; not too crazy about these real-life lyrics fa this slow-ride
track… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s kinda ehh… Tha “if I die before I…” and “get
ya paper up” shit’s ehh fa me… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s a lil’
betta but still a lil’ random fa this kinda beat… My Rating: 3.4
11.
Racked-Up Ready “Goonin’ Out Of Foreign”
Str8
from tha gravez… >>> Sounds like a catchy lil’ hook from Ready, as
well as tha hook… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and I recognize tha dude on
tha 1st verse’s voice but I can’t think of who it iz… Sounds like a
decent lil’ verse; kinda cocky and tha “money” shit’s startin’ ta make me feel
like, bleh… Hearin’ Ready on tha 2nd verse and it sounds good, here…
My Rating: 4.1
12.

YB feat. King Joe “Get Up & Go Get It”
No
King Joe on tha feature? *Listens* He’s there; smh @ not givin’ him credit!
Don’t he mean somethin’ ta y’all? My
Current Rating: 4.4
I’ono
about tha mainstream collaboration… >>> I’m likin’ how this sounds;
great beat & hyped-up hook! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds
pretty upbeat; good shit! Dat
Baton Rouge street shit’s on tha 2nd
verse, here, strictly holdin’ it down! Definitely feelin’ all dat aggression!
And, tha 3rd verse sounds a lil’ too fast wit tha rappin’? Runnin’
circles through my head? My Rating: 4.3
15.
$hop With Ken feat. JB & King Joe “Rocket”
Now, there’s King Joe on tha
feature… >>> Nice lil’ hook, here, strictly bein’ hit wit da “rocket!”
Hearin’ tha 1st verse and there’s a lotta energy in this verse,
right chea! Good shit from tha JB dude, here, strictly holdin’ it down! I like
how he plays with Juvenile’s “Back That Azz Up”’s “yeah” shit… And, we got King
Joe comin’ through on tha 2nd verse, here, consistently doin’ tha
damn thang on tha track! Definitely a dope collaboration, here; top-rated,
surprisingly? My Rating: 4.5
16.
$hop With Ken feat. VC & CLUB “Head Bust”
Ending
with… >>> Nice lil’ upbeat beat ta jam to, but to also sound nice fa
tha streetz… Feelin’ tha hook, here, strictly bustin’ dem headz!
Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ nice from this VC dude…
Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha dude on tha 2nd verse, here, soundin’ a
lil’ more street wit this voice, right chea… Definitely feelin’ how it’s
upbeat, here… Soundin’ pretty consistent at 1:56, here! Lots of “eye”-soundin’
rhymes, here! Reminds me of tha ‘90s baby version of Percy Keith? We shall see
what kinda future he gon have! And, tha 3rd verse’s soundin’ nice ta
hear, here, with its street content… My
Rating: 4.2
Overall: Sounds like a CD that gon
feed tha streetz of BR fa a minute… Shout out to tha newbies I barely/neva

Recorded June 25, 2015, but released on July 8, 2015, in honor of Ready's birthday.
Broadcasting from tha treehouse in my hometown of Port Jefferson Station on Long Island, NY, it's FrankieThaLuckyDog here, reporting another unfortunate loss in tha Louisiana rap community.
Shannen Ve'Latrail Hudson, known in tha rap game as Racked-Up Ready (formerly Young Ready), was one of two victims murdered around 3:30 PM on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, in Bogalusa, LA. Hudson and 28-year-old Jare Stevenson, both from Baton Rouge, were inside a vehicle on City Limits Road when shots were fired, killing both Hudson & Stevenson instantly.
Hudson was one of Baton Rouge's most-known underground rappers, consistently releasing music for tha streets to embrace. Throughout his career, he had been managed by tha likes of Baton Rouge's J-Dirty & Atlanta's Tony "iAmThaConnect" Guidry. In 2006, he released his debut, Junkie Medicine (Cocaine Edition), on Grind Tyme Entertainment. In 2007, he signed with fellow Rouger, C-Loc's Camp Life Entertainment, releasing Break It Off! with Reno Da Gutta & Loc, himself. During 2008, Hudson was arrested for illegally carrying a weapon, and was released from jail on November 3, 2008. Shortly after, in tha spring of 2009, he released his 2nd CD, That's How I'm Coming, and in tha fall of 2009, released his 3rd CD, It Ain't No Secret. To jump-start tha 2010s decade, he kept tha streets full by teaming up with fellow Rouger, Savage, and released tha collaboration project, Self-Made Bosses. Later on in tha year, he left Camp Life and started his own label, B.O.W. Entertainment, releasing his 1st CD on tha label, High Profile, his 4th one, overall. His 5th CD, Goon Incorporated, was released in 2011; his 6th CD, Goon Related, was released in 2012. Family Ties, his 7th solo disc, was released in 2013, also on Baton Rouge's DJ Wookee's Crook Muzik Music Group. With tha scene changing and time surpassing, Hudson started goin' by "Racked-Up Ready" in 2013, signed with Dead Game Records, and dropped his 8th disc, Street Laws, during that summer. Hudson entered tha year 2014 in a quality/quantity fashion by dropping three discs: Street Laws (Reloaded), a Dead Game Records project called I-10 To I-95 Connection with tha Rouge's Lil' One The Champ & Malachi, and what was his final release, The Goon Division, with BR's Madd Marvin, D-Nic & ZC Juice. Hudson was in tha process of releasing Goon Brothers, a collaboration project with close Rouge friend, Mista Cain. Today, Wednesday, July 8, 2015, would've been Hudson's 32nd birthday if he was still alive today.
