R.I.P. Video #76: Decky On Da Track

Recorded November 15, 2020

Broadcasting from tha Ruins Hall, here in Glen Rock, PA, it's ya boy, FrankieThaLuckyDog here, sadly reportin' anotha tragic loss in tha Louisiana rap community.

Desmond Perryman, known by his stage name, Decky On Da Track, was murdered on tha 1000 block of North 40th Street on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at around 8:19 PM; he was only 28 years-old. According to police, when they arrived at tha scene, Perryman's lifeless body was already found in a yard with multiple gunshot wounds. Currently, detectives are unable to provide a motive or suspect in tha murder of Perryman.

Decky On Da Track was born Desmond Perryman on October 1, 1992, in Baton Rouge, LA. Decky was originally known by "Decky Boy On Da Track" but was later shortened to "Decky On Da Track" (sometymes spelt "Deccy On Da Track" or "Deccy On Da Tracc"). Tha name change was believed to prevent confusion with another late Baton Rouger, Decky Boy, who previously passed away on October 29, 2011. Decky's first-known productions came in 2012, when he linked up wit fellow Rouger, Que Almighty. He would then go on to produce for tha likes of many BR cats: Boo Milton, Boosie Badazz, General Mark, Kareem, Q Hu$tle, Racked-Up Ready, Sherwood Marty & Zoe Realla, to name a few. Decky kept tha undaground sound of BR pumpin' until his untimely death on Thursday, November 12, 2020, when he was shot dead in a North 40th Street yard. Earlier, on October 1st, Decky celebrated his 28th birthday.

Review #1,698: YB "Don't Die Wondering"

Reviewed on 3.23.2017 (Review #1,698)

Happy 57th day in a row of reviewin’ CDs & only three more dayz till my dream comes true!! A bonus review aside from my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon, I have YB Don’t Die Wondering, here, released on Dirty Dinero Gang! Also, YB’s birthday’s this Saturday, March 25, tha day before my dream comes true! Shit’s amazing! For now, I’m lookin’ forward to gettin’ to this review! Start Time: 4:20 PM | End Time: 4:55 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> “ iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> “ iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

© 2017 CD Review (Review #1,698) reviewed on 3.23.2017 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Pull Up” feat. Razy Ray
Time ta kick this one off!! >>> Sounds refreshin’ to hear new music! I’ve only reviewed one current Louisiana CD a month, so far this year! Definitely sounds refreshin’, here, wit tha production! Hearin’ tha hook and it’s pretty nice, here; great shit from you, Y-Bizzle!! Your song, “Broski’s”, with Tazz, has become one of tha best songs I’ve played from Louisiana! Song reminds me of my broski, who’s currently locked up, in which I added tha track on his birthday, last year (September 9)! Definitely nice! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse, here, and it’s pretty nice; good shit! Gotta dig tha consistent, street shit you bringin’ to tha table, here! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s pretty dope from Mr. Razy Ray, here; luv how he has a lot ta offer, here… My Rating: 4.3

02. “Fugazi” feat. Razy Ray
>>> I thought this sounded familiar; shout out to $hop With Ken… My Current Rating: 4.3

03. “Public Enemy”
>>> I like how this sounds, here; definitely a nice hook from you, here, over this beat… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and you soundin’ nice wit this shit; gotta luv what you bring! Gotta luv what you bringin’ to tha 2nd verse on this beat, too; good shit to tha fullest!! My Rating: 4.2

04. “Get Up & Go Get It” feat. King Joe
>>> Comin’ through wit dem Ken beats, here; definitely nice! Hearin’ tha hook and it’s pretty nice wit this motivated hook, of course! Gotta luv how you “go get it!” Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s pretty nice wit what you’re comin’ through, here! Who don’t got “overtime,” right? Got Mr. Joe on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit consistent rhymes, but soundin’ decent ta me… My Rating: 4.0

05. “Birthplace”
Bwahahaha / ROFL! Definitely somethin’ classic, here!! Like it even more than I did!! My Current Rating: 4.9

½time: You doin’ yo shit, of course! Gotta luv havin’ new music from you!! Hope I get to meet you on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday!! A 4.3-rated CD, so far! Keep doin’ yo shit!

06. “Go Hard”
>>> This sounds nice, even tho I know this one, too… Still, definitely nice ta have some of these tracks on here! My Current Rating: 4.3

07. “Hunnit Man”
Bring it on! >>> Guss doin’ one of your beats, here… I’ono about tha start of tha plain-soundin’ beat, so far… Feels like I’ve heard this before…? Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s decent, here… Rhymes are ehh/what anyone can spit but I always love when you rap… And, tha 2nd verse ain’t that bad, here; decent wit what you bringin’… My Rating: 3.7

08. “Child So Bad” feat. JM Larry & S4 Lil’ Mike
I’m lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this one; bring it!! >>> Sounds like a nice lil’ gangsta-soundin’ beat, here, includin’ this lil’ sample in tha beginning… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s nice from you, holdin’ shit down! Tha hook’s nice wit tha sample; definitely dope wit how we’ve evolved in life! Good shit comin’ outta tha 2nd verse, here, strictly keepin’ it Rouge fa tha Rouge! And, good shit comin’ outta tha 3rd verse, too; definitely nice wit tha voice/content/delivery! My Rating: 4.3

09. “Swing My Door” feat. King Joe
>>> Not bad beat, here; decent lil’ hook… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and you rappin’ fast, here; crazy shit… And, tha hook ain’t that bad, here; just luvin’ tha new Louisiana music…! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse from King Joe and it’s nice; just keep rappin’… My Rating: 3.7

10. “Ballin’ Hard”
>>> More Ken tracks… Tha beat sounds like it’s a high feelin’ to embrace, or somethin’? Nice lil’ 1st verse, here… Tha hook sounds nice ta hear, even tho sometimes, I feel like it sounds mainstream… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and I’m likin’ how you sound a lil’ more upbeat in your voice, here… Almost thought there was gon be a 3rd verse but it’s close to a minute of an outro, here… My Rating: 3.9

11. “Long Way” feat. Dinero Costello
>>> Sounds like it gon be anotha nice Ken beat, but my mind keeps throwin’ me off, as if I heard some of these tracks, already… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s good, but betta once you say tha title part! That 2nd ½ of tha hook nice…! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and you “come from tha bottom like grass,” lol! Nice job wit what you bringin’ to tha table, here… Hearin’ Dinero on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit some catchy rhymes; can’t deny ‘em… My Rating: 4.1

Overall: Other than “Birthplace”’s extraordinary rating, there weren’t really any crazy-ass ratings. However, definitely tha selection of bangerz, here! Good shit, YB! Always hope you do music all day, err-day!!

Reviewed on 2.13.2015 (Review #1,437)

Keepin’ these reviewz goin’, this one, sponsored by 6 Figures Entertainment, iz DoggMann In It 2 Win It (Hosted by Big Jay Pyrex). Now, I’ve only heard of this Saint Gabriel rapper on tha Mobb Ties disc from Solo Mafia, released back in 2012. I randomly found this tape out by tryna figure out tha name of one of my previous reviewz I just did (Racked-Up Ready or somebody). Not sayin’ that my searches were of great people that care about me, but I feel like I should review this, just for tha hell of it. © 2015 CD Review (Review #1,437) reviewed on 2.13.2015 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Intro
>>> Big Jay; lol, they left tha two seconds of silence at tha end… My Rating: N/A

02. “Raw Shit”
>>> Sounds real nice ta hear ova this beat; great voice… Rhymes are super-consistent; gotta dig ‘em! My Rating: 4.3

03. “Break A Nigga Off” feat. King Sav
Not in tha mood for tha feature, especially since he been ignoring me, without permission, lately… However, I gotta make this look good ‘cause I’m a Shift Leader! >>> Savage beat; sounds nice—am I allowed to comment on tha production/feature, hence bein’ randomly unfollowed by Sav from Twitter & Instagram, without permission? Anyway, nice job wit you on tha 1st verse; feelin’ how you comin’ through… Tha hook sounds good and catchy wit tha, “Proper, proper, proper, proper, proper … Chopper, chopper, chopper, chopper…” shit… Hearin’ Sav on tha 2nd verse and it sounds great. However, he’s right: “That’s why tha game fucked-up; watered-down.” Now, ain’t dat right, Sav? You basically have provided tha “watered-down”ness fa me by unfollowin’ me; wish I could play you on my iPod, again, but I guess you don’t want anymore support, smh! I ain’t do nothin’; y’all tha guilty ones! Anyway, here’s you on tha 3rd verse; sounds pretty good… My Rating: 4.4

04. “Calm It Down”
>>> Anotha tight-soundin’ beat and you sound great spittin’ these rhymes on tha 1st verse… Diggin’ how you want ‘em to “calm it down” on tha hook; sounds great, but I think err-body in Louisiana literally calmed “it down,” lately. It’s like, you don’t hear from anybody, anymore, after I got my job! Talk about them really turnin’ they back on me! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ nice and consistent and energetic; gotta dig it… Nice outro! “Who buckin’? You buckin’? Huh bruh;” very energetic!! My Rating: 4.4

05. “Beef”
>>> Anotha nicely-produced track witchu comin’ through wit dat G-shit, as always! Nice job wit tha 1st verse; couldn’t exactly tell if it was tha hook or not ‘cause you frequently say tha title… Oh, here’s tha hook; catchy witchu sayin’, “Beef,” more… Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ nice ta hear, too… Mo nice shit comin’ outta tha 3rd verse, as well, as a “boss hog!” My Rating: 4.2

06. “She Fine”
>>> Really diggin’ tha undaground sounds of tha beat sounds in tha beginning!! Tha hook sounds decent, but catchier wit how you deliver it… Tha 1st verse’s nice ta hear, too; good shit! LOL @ tha 2nd verse and how you makin’ this bitch get down low fa you, wit this “dick”-suckin’ shit, lol; nice… Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 3rd verse, here… Rhymes are really fast! Do you run outta breath while recordin’? LOL, “Pretty titties;” tha fastness sounded like, “Pretty teh,” lol! My Rating: 4.3

07. “Caught Up” feat. Mista Cain & King Sav
>>> Sounds nice, despite it bein’ “money”-related, on tha hook… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it sounds nice; a decent song that has that pure Baton Rouge sound to it, at least… LOL, Cain got thrown in tha wrong spot on tha ID; he before Sav, here, on tha 2nd verse… Catchy flow, soundin’ betta than usual, except tha “moola” part. Also, some of it sounds recycled? Like, tha “out there” parts… But, let’s move on ta Sav on tha 3rd verse… Sounds nice ta hear; quality lyrics on this track, but because of tha unfollowin’ and B-Real blocking me, it’s gotta go in one ear and out tha other, bein’ completely forgotten about once this review’s done. My Rating: 4.3

08. “Dope Money”
>>> Really likin’ tha beat start a lot; definitely a pure-produced CD! Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ nice ova this beat; nice job… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s catchy; it actually sounds like a “money” song that sounds good, in my guilty pleasure voice… Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty nice, too, as you’re keepin’ tha rapid rhymes comin’… “Money my protein;” sounds like a lil’ bit of an obsession? My Rating: 4.4

09. “On Fire” feat. Stu
>>> Anotha nice-soundin’ song; this sounds different than tha previous song! This has more of an anthemic sound in tha beat; great hook!! Even tha 1st verse from you has tha anthemic beat sound in it; nice and consistent! Diggin’ your rhymes, as well! Tha Stu dude’s on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit nice rhymes, too. He sounds like you wit tha rapid speed, only with a regular-soundin’ voice… Gotta luv tha beat ridin’ out on tha outro, too; lol @ it cuttin’ off! My Rating: 4.4

½time: Sounds like a consistent-ass CD, so far! Most of tha ratings are nearly tha same and you really got tha Baton Rouge street sound comin’ on strong, here! Tha production’s pure and consistent, as well as your rhymes comin’ out nice and fast! Currently, tha CD rating’s at a 4.3; good shit!

10. “Grudge”
>>> Beat’s pretty nice; sounds like some dark, late night-type shit! Tha 1st verse’s nice; good ta hear! Tha hook’s soundin’ catchy, here, wit explainin’ this “grudge” and shit… Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ good, too; can’t deny these Southern rhymes! My Rating: 4.2

11. “Da Real Way” feat. King Sav, Racked-Up Ready & 31st Deedy
Here’s where I first heard of you (this track)… Ooh, a strong Savage beat start; “Mobb shit, bitch!!” Gotta luv it!! Definitely lovin’ this hook wit all this “da real way” shit all ova it!! Sav had a brain fulla chemistry!! Comin’ through on tha 1st verse, anticipatin’ a beef!! Let’s hear you (DoggMann) on tha 2nd verse … New, different, dark-soundin’ voice, here; definitely interestin’, and I’m likin’ tha shit you bringin’ to tha table! Hope you are a great dude—have to say, yes, based off you bein’ on dat Mobb Ties CD! Spittin’ lots of real shit, consistently! Now, a “familiar” Young Ready on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit dat G-shit; what else iz new, lol…? Switchin’ it up to 31st on tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit mo good shit fa this track… My Current Rating: 4.7

12. “Purp N Lean”
! >>> Intro sounds really anticipatin’ wit tha chokin’! I used to be more anticipated back in tha day, especially before I used to smoke. However, now that I smoke and Louisiana kinda fell off fa me, it just sounds good ta hear, without me dyin’ ta hang out, or somethin’! Great hook, though; gotta get fucked up!! Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ nice wit your fast rhymes ova this quality-soundin’, key-droppin’ beat! Tha 2nd verse’s nice, too; whoot! Whoot! “Rollin’ up blunts in my sleep…,” lol! Went so quick, a beat outro wit :54 left? Oh wait, here comes tha fast hook, lol! My Rating: 4.5

13. “Everyday Struggle”
>>> More on tha “struggle” tip, as far as tha content, but tha beat’s nice and pure to keep my interest up; above-average hook, here… Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ aight…; tha 2nd verse’s just like tha 1st verse fa me, too, spittin’ rhymes… Got a 3rd verse, here… Prolly could’ve done wit just two ‘cause now, it could get a lil’ long fa a song like this, especially wit just you on it… Just like tha previous verses, it sounds okay. My Rating: 3.7

14. “Creepin’”
>>> I know it sounds like a guilty pleasure when I say this, but this sounds like a pure, 2007-soundin’ Savage-type beat; nice!! And, hearin’ you on tha 1st verse, it sounds nice and street, as always! Gotta luv how Sav can make 2014 sound so 2007, even though I wish he would act like tha ’07 dayz again, wit me… I promised I’d keep him updated on my life, but he randomly just vanished? Either way, good job wit tha hook; diggin’ it… Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too; sounds like a potential single or somethin’? Diggin’ tha 3rd verse, too; good shit… My Rating: 4.5

15. “All Around” feat. Beezy
>>> Nice beat and nice collab on tha hook! Nice wit tha “stankaz” ta start tha 1st verse off, as a spin off of 50 Cent’s “Wanksta” wording! Props ta Beezy fa keepin’ it street witchu; quality sound fa Louisiana, here! And, Beezy on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some G-shit! Did he say, “Beezy B?” Iz he tha same Beezy B from tha Beat Flippa Street Certified CD? Would prolly neva be able ta remember, so I dunno what ta expect… Either way, he sounds like he would fit in that category; nice shit! My Rating: 4.3

16. “Fuck With The Real”
>>> Nice beat, once again; great sound in tha 1st verse, as you comin’ through, “Booyah”in’ ‘em! “I done seen niggaz fall off and neva shook back;” I can agree wit this, as far as all tha rappers I’ve dealt with in Louisiana! It’s like, why’d they even bother? Sounds like a straight-through verse? Almost thought it was just one verse but you did a nice job wit tha long 1st verse… Tha hook sounds nice; let out what you need ta let out! Nice job wit tha 2nd verse, too; feelin’ what you bringin’ to tha table… My Rating: 4.0

17. “I Do Dis”
>>> Diggin’ tha energetic sound in tha beat; gotta luv it! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ nice! You confirmed it: “Savage” on tha track… Lots of rhymes, here; you really comin’ through wit tha rhymes! Tha hook sounds nice, too; gotta luv tha energy! Gotta keep doin’ “dis shit!” Tha 2nd verse sounds nice to hear; good shit… Keepin’ tha fast energy goin’ fa tha streetz wit tha 3rd verse, here, comin’ through wit dat quality!! “Baggy eyes, baggy jeans;” that’s what it’s about! Gotta luv when I work 4 AM – 11 AM and go to NY on tha same day! I get up at 3, go to work, get fulla dat shit, drive four hours ta NY, get fulla dat shit again, and then, go fa a high ride wit my boy! No naps in my Girbauds; gotta luv it! My Rating: 4.5

18. “2 Street”
>>> Sounds nice wit tha beat and how you’re comin’ through on tha 1st verse… Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds pretty nice ta hear; gotta keep it “2 street!” Tha 2nd verse sounds nice ta hear, too; keep it goin’! There’s a 3rd verse, here… I’m feelin’ how you providin’ tha “pure fiendin’” sound fa err-body; good job! My Rating: 4.3

Overall: Fa tha most part, this CD definitely stayed on a consistent basis; gotta luv tha sound throughout tha whole entire CD, as well as how you came through on tha mic! Gotta feel what you spittin’! Hope you stay consistent; keep up tha great work!

Review #1,410: Bubba "Perfect Timing"

Reviewed on 7.03.2014 (Review #1,410)

FrankieThaLuckyDog here, finna review my boy, from Big Stacks Entertainment: Bubba Perfect Timing! Almost perfect timing wit me, as I’m only a day off from reviewin’ this, even while consistently workin’. That’s how much luv I got for Bubba, priority-wise! It’s thunderin’, at tha moment; hope it don’t cut me off! I’m lookin’ forward ta hearin’ what he got, here! No time or thought of doin’ any other reviews, so Bubba, you lucky, right now! Start Time: 4:16 PM | End Time: 4:52 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! After I was robbed by two artists who claimed their “money [was] long,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

01. “Real Rap”
Production from Mod Productions, here, kickin’ it off… I have to say, you have tha voice ta pull off “real rap,” not like everyone else’s boring asses… >>> Nice beat start; I can appreciate it and anticipate you… Kinda gives me dat “Polo Everything” feeling! And, here you are on tha hook wit da hook; definitely catchy! Always luv your voice, on tha tracks; good shit! And, “tha mo money you make, tha mo niggaz gon hate;” I can agree, now! Now that I’m workin’, I don’t even, like, hear from any Louisiana niggaz, anymore. It’s like, damn, thought makin’ “mo money” would give me “mo” options ta help niggaz out? Guess not! Good shit on tha 1st verse; very consistent!! Really feelin’ how you spittin’ “flames,” fa tha 225! Wow, only one verse, here? Felt like I got teased, like eatin’ only ¼ of a donut, lol! My Rating: 4.7

02. “Retarted” Feat. Max Minelli
Glad you continuin’ to push it more, now that tha music video dropped, not too long ago. When you come on in my head, at work, I feel like I’m tha glowing, cool person at work. When other Louisiana artists come on in my head, at work, it’s to defend me from gettin’ yelled at. So, while they suffer, you’re winnin’! My Current Rating: 4.8

03. “My Testimony”
EQ doin’ anotha beat, back-to-back… >>> Nice lil’ beat start, here; I know this gon be good, too! Nice start to tha 1st verse, too, strictly grindin’! Tha hook’s real catchy, fa just repeatin’ tha title! Of course, gotta luv ya! Here’s tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit mo shit! I hope you get some promo from me, such as a commercial or some shit, since you all about yo “money!” Because of work, I don’t be approachin’ many, which has makin’ my sales real low, but I hope you pull through and show these niggaz you worth more than them, literally! Great job on tha 2nd verse, too, by tha way! My Rating: 4.5

04. “To The Roof”
Production from Austin Rashaad, here; now, everyone knows that producer, outta nowhere… I think I first knew about him in ’09… >>> Ooh @ tha beat start; definitely catchy! You can tell it’s someone different when you hear certain sounds, like this! Nice club banga; feelin’ tha hook, even wit tha “throwin’ money” shit! Diggin’ tha “fucked up” shit, too; gotta luv tha feelin’ of bein’ high, too! You turnin’ 30 later this year. I really hope you don’t feel aged, or feel like retirin’! Literally, most of these niggaz from Louisiana I deal wit, it’s like, 30’s tha new 65; they feel like they too old! There’s a chick at my job that’s 33; I thought she was 18 or somethin’! She a real great chick; I always feel like I’m 19, by tha way! So, we on tha East Coast always feel like we’re young! Anyway, nice job wit tha 1st verse, holdin’ tha clubz down! Tha 2nd verse sounds consistent, too! Oh, I wanna see them “big face hunnids,” Bubba! Speakin’ of “hunnid,” I said, “Hunnid,” at work, today, and my co-worker had no idea what I said, lol! It’s like, “one-hundred,” lol! Well, that one chick that’s 33 knew what I meant when I said, “Keep it 100,” at least! New York-representin’!! My Rating: 4.4

05. “My Trust Fucked Up” Feat. Racked-Up Ready
LOL, name change, stayin’ updated! My Current Rating: 4.8

06. “Don’t Step On My Js (Jordans)”
This looks like it gon be tha next big song from you; really anticipatin’ it, with EQ on tha beat! >>> Sounds like one of them classic-soundin’ Down Bad jointz wit tha intro, wit tha “watch my feet!” Not bad for tha 1st ½ of tha hook; gets catchy wit tha 2nd ½ of tha hook. Oh, I’m finally wearin’ tha shoes (Levi’s) I bought from March 2013, $15 each, I think, lol! You know how I do; they look nice! Burlington Coat Factory style… Tha 1st verse sounds great; diggin’ your “different sneaker everyday,” ya dig? That’s what’s up! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too; lol @ your “daughters” wearin’ dem “Js,” too! And, nice “Retarted” reference, too! It’s a nice way to recycle that line, even though I think it’s cheesy to always recycle shit. Nice “Throwback Thursday” line, too—it’s today, lol! My Rating: 4.5

07. “Bet Dat” Feat. King Sav
My Current Rating: 4.6

08. “Act For A Stack”
Not anticipated for “stack”-like titles, but I’m in tha mood, here, wit EQ on tha beat! >>> Kinda gives me a similar vibe from tha “J’s” joint! I wouldn’t tolerate this if this was someone else, but your voice and tha beat make it sound innocent, so I’m feelin’ it. Tha hook sounds catchy, so you got it on lock wit dem “10 big face hunnids!” Tha 1st verse sounds pretty good, here; jammin’ and consistent… You and your “ten-and-a-half-inches,” I see? Really chokin’ dem females, lol! Tha 2nd verse sounds good; you even “ooh child’d” like Rich Homie Quan did, recently, on H-Town’s Propain’s “2 Rounds”! Consistent shit throughout tha 2nd verse; can’t deny how you comin’ through, here! My Rating: 4.4

½time: Of course, nothin’ like some super-consistent, Baton Rouge music, here! Always luv how you come through, and even on my lowest self-esteem times with Louisiana, you can still pull somethin’ off! A 4.6-rated CD, currently!! Good shit; really diggin’ your constant consistency!!

09. “Like It’s Legal” Feat. Spitta & C-Loc
Let’s see, here, wit Nunu (a grandpa? LOL, just playin’!) on tha beat! >>> This sounds tha most undaground wit tha way it sounds, outta all tha songs, on here. Feelin’ tha beat, includin’ tha hook wit all this anticipated-legalness! Tha 1st verse iz Loc, here, comin’ through wit regular rhymes… Here’s a pre-arrested Spitta on tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit catchier rhymes, instantly in your “throat!” Nice “trapatory” line, Spitta! He not stoppin’, here! However, “7th floor,” huh? Well, Spitta, go on top of tha abandoned Kings Park Psychiatric Center, in Building 7: It’s 12 stories, and on tha 12th story was where I got high, fa tha 1st time! Also, Building 93; it’s 13 stories! And, he even said that he belongs “in a mention institution?” Well, then, fly up here and explore tha abandoned KPPC!!
See, Spitta? Now, afta tha long 1st verse, we got my boy, Bubba, on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit a lotta consistent rhymes, non-stop! Damn, ended outta nowhere; you went in, Bubba!! My Rating: 4.5

10. “Deal Wit Cha”
Looks like it gon be a great song fa tha females… Mod on tha beat, here… >>> Almost didn’t think that was you on tha 1st verse; sounds a lil’ different, but this beat sounds nice. It almost sounds like it hints tha ‘90s gangsta rap, or somethin’; good job, Mod, and Bubb, fa comin’ through wit some good shit! Tha hook sounds catchy; I luv how you keep drillin’, “Have you eva been fucked by a real nigga,” constantly, on tha hook! Nice job wit tha 2nd verse, too; keep it comin’, Bubb, or should I say, cumin’, fa this track, on dem hoes, lol! My Rating: 4.3

11. “3 AM” Feat. Tatty
Same, here! Austin doin’ tha beat, and I bet this an R&B dude on tha feature, since I neva heard of him… >>> Yea, same kinda song, though tha other one sounded a lil’ catchier? Either way, this pretty good, too, wit tha hook… LOL, non-stop fuckin’ wit Bubba, between these songs! Oh God, you and “Ashley” on tha 1st verse, here; don’t you luv dem Ashleys, lol? Even you’re connected wit ‘em; you can’t escape ‘em! Not too bad wit tha 1st verse; it’s cool… Oh, completely fooled wit what I thought tha feature was gon be, as it’s a female rappin’ on tha 2nd verse! She sounds like tha cool chick ta hang out wit, just like tha chick I mentioned in this review! She did a nice job helpin’ you out; did you “fuck” her, by tha way? LOL, just sayin’, just ‘cause it sounds like tha perfect chick fa tha 225! My Rating: 4.0

12. “Slow Yo Roll”
Mod Productions helpin’ you out, again! >>> Kinda sounds like it gon be a lil’ sad, or somethin’, based off tha beginning; hope it hangs in there… Damn, when you said, “Kevin Foster,” I think, I thought you was talkin’ about rapper, Kevin F; crazy thoughts… Tha 1st verse wasn’t too bad, but surprisingly, I’m feelin’ tha hook, a lil’ bit. Speakin’ of “lost,” just last Thursday, we lost Disco, of tha Flippa Boyz! His birthday this Sunday, and I got a tribute video comin’ about him, soon! It only gon be six minutes long, but it’s worth it, fa those that knew him! And, tha 2nd verse’s good, too. Though I had confusing anticipation, in tha beginning, at least this wasn’t too long. I hate when questionable songs are, like, five minutes long! My Rating: 4.1

13. “Come & Go” Feat. Slim Cal
Let’s see, here… EQ on tha beat. >>> Catchy shit, here; didn’t even realize a new rapper was on tha feature, too! Oh, this gon be good! Catchy hook and beat; you got shit on lock, for tha 13th time!! Just luv how consistent you are wit rappin’, here! One of tha coolest, catchiest voices of tha Baton Rouge area; B-U-B-B-A—B.U.B.B.A.—Bubba!!! Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good, here, as well; keep shit on-n-poppin’, Bubb!! Wow, what am I doin’? I was just about ta rate it and I realized I ain’t hear tha new Slim dude, yet! Hearin’ him on tha 3rd verse and it sounds like some nice shit, fa tha area Bubb lives in, in tha 225! I like dat “bet, nigga, 10-4,” as well as how he comin’ through, wit his style! Even when he says, “Shit, no!” Great shit; I can tell he born before ’88; gotta respect those that are older than me! Hope we do business in tha future, though my tolerance level so low, to where it gotta be ‘bout serious bidness! I definitely felt what he brought to tha table, though, as a cool-as-fuck, Baton Rouge-like rapper!! My Rating: 4.6

14. “Like A Jungle”
Yerp, yerp… My Current Rating: 4.7

15. “Characters” Feat. Dino Danja & 31st Deedy
Whoot, whoot! My Current Rating: 4.6

16. “Momma Always Told Me (Remix)” Feat. Dat Boy A & 38 Slimm
Oh, lol, who knows what lies behind this door? I feel like this:
I feel like I’m randomly explorin’ tha abandoned Kings Park Psychiatric Center, not knowin’ what’s behind this, lol! Gotta luv tha fun; here we go! >>> “Bubba!!” Oh, fuck, forget explorin’, right now ‘cause I know what this iz! Damn, it would’ve been nice if it was a new, unreleased joint! My Current Rating: 4.3

Overall: Well, Bubb, I definitely was diggin’ this joint, right chea!! Like I said, despite how DJ B-Real completely ruined my Louisiana passion, and made me realize that makin’ money/gettin’ a job/self-centered-focusing on myself’s more important, I pulled through to really like this CD! Keep up tha great work; you got a winner on ya hands!! And, importantly: I hope you do some services wit me and get promoted, nicely!

Review #1,359: FrankieThaLuckyDog Presents "Tha Louisiana Archives Vol. 16: ...Tha End?"

Reviewed on 12.21.2013 (Review #1,359)

‘Bout ta review tha 16th and final installment of my Tha Louisiana Archives mixtape compilation. It’s unfortunate that it’s my last; find out more when I review tha outro to this mixtape! So once again, here goes my review for FrankieThaLuckyDog Presents Tha Louisiana Archives Vol. 16: …Tha End?. BTW, due to a lack of interest people had in this, I did not host, mix, and blend it! Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

01. Savage “Money Whipped”
Startin’ off wit a slow jam? Goes to show you I could care less about what’s goin’ on… Either way, had a Savage day on October 22, 2013, after a random dream. I added this to show luv, and that’s why it’s on here. Samples SWV’s “Weak” on tha hook; sounds more upbeat on my CD, here, thanx to tha boost in tha pitch! Sav can pull this off and it sounds good. Nice slow/semi-upbeat vibe for tha ladies! My Current Rating: 4.0

02. 2 Slugz Feat. Lil’ Cali “All Week”
My Current Rating: 4.5

03. 31st Deedy Feat. Savage & Ree-Up “Dope Boi Swag”
My Current Rating: 4.7

04. Hollowtip “#MollyWorld”
My Current Rating: 4.3

05. Lil’ Cali Feat. Versey “Pow!”
My Current Rating: 4.7

06. Live Boy Scooter “Get Smoked”
Added this based off tha fact that Scooter showed me luv by followin’ me on Twitter. However, he ain’t answer my call and then, ain’t answer me back on Twitter about tha call. It kinda tells me that I jumped too quick with this song. Like, I added it without a result? A lil’ too quick… Anyway, this joint’s kinda random for me. Tha hook sounds like a sampled kid from tha hood or somethin’. And, rhymes are a lil’ random, once again… My Current Rating: 3.5

½time: So far, good, but all of these songs flopped on my playlist, after I started really gettin’ into Gunplay’s music, and leanin’ off of Louisiana music… But, tha CD’s at a 4.3 CD rating, so far…

07. Point Blank Fam Feat. Kevin Gates “Roller Coaster”
My Current Rating: 4.9

08. Racked-Up Ready Feat. Savage “Ain’t Tryna Be Ya Mane”
My Current Rating: 4.6

09. Sess 4-5 Feat. Mr. Magic “#SeeWutDatDo”
My Current Rating: 4.8

10. Doonie “Da Quickness”
My Current Rating: 4.8

11. Yung Yola “Everybody Thuggin’”
Just got this two dayz ago. Lemme hear this for tha 1st time and see what’s up wit this… >>> Wow, didn’t even hear tha 1st second, as it says that he produced tha track! Now, it’s all about “Mollies;” glad he adjustin’ to it! Beat sounds regular (almost figured it was an online beat when I skimmed through a few seconds), and tha hook’s catchy. Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds good; his rhymes definitely are consistent and are great fa me! Don’t mind what he spittin’, too! Gotta not “pick up ya pants,” like ya said, ‘cause ya showin’ ya ass! Glad you still got that in you, Yola! That’s why I luv you wit all my heart! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse, and good shit! “Time ta light tha blunt up;” keep smokin’, my boy! Wow, this went by quick; I thought a 3rd verse was gon come outta this… My Rating: 4.6

12. FrankieThaLuckyDog “Outro: Final Message”
Here’s what I had to say:
It's FrankieThaLuckyDog, here, with a statement I need to make. Unfortunately, it looks like this'll be my final installment of Tha Louisiana Archives. Time and time again, I've tried to create an outlet for tha unknown - tha ones that aren't widely known in Louisiana, but there's a complete lack of interest. A lack of interest that makes me have a lack of interest for new Louisiana music. There wasn't one person that booked a spot on my mixtape, and it's only $20 for a spot! For someone who posts for over 3,000 Facebook “friends,” it goes to show you how unimportant I am in this underground—“fantasy world”—of Louisiana. I thought I was “known” to tha point where people would know that every 90 dayz, I would drop a mixtape, not where I'd have to constantly waste time posting about it. I would've loved to stay on a consistent grind like no other, and put a mixtape out every 90 dayz, for years and decades, without feeling too old; too bad tha people don't agree wit me, and made me last for only 16 rounds! I also believe that tha Louisiana generation I embraced, starting back in 2007, was what I was born to love: Club bangaz, jiggalatin' anthems, people embracing tha sound of Louisiana, and gangsta shit with a Baton Rouge underground sound. Now, people like Mista Cain, who randomly get thrown into a raffle and picked to get all tha “attention”, iz what's this generation, that I don't understand; it's another reason why they get 300 likes in an hour, and I get only 3 in a day. While sometimes, tha sound of Baton Rouge iz still there, tha passion for being promoted iz nowhere to be found, and I can't stand those who knock tha jigg sound. It's like, bitch, you prolly fake and ain't got money, anyway, so look who's talkin'! It makes me not take Louisiana music serious, anymore. All I do iz get pigeonholed to my damn radio show—not station—that has been defunct for tha past 16 months! If you can't figure out what I've been doin', or what's still active of mine, then you're not a fan of me; you're a loser and a loser! I'm not this mysterious secret! I apologize for wasting hundreds and over a thousand dollars on trying my best to promote tha unknown, through awards, booking, and everything I've done. I apologize for freezin' my ass off in zero-degree weather to create a passionate image of showin' an artist luv, where they've chosen to not appreciate and ignore what I've done. I apologize for bringing light to such shitheads on my tri-weekly playlists, to where I would make you feel as important as Billboard-charting artists in other genres and other countries! They would look at y'all as somethin' cool; meanwhile, tha “cool” would be future embarrassment for me. I also don't understand why nobody has even taken tha time or money to come and visit me; I don't understand what tha problem iz! I do wanna thank 2 Chainz & Gunplay for creating a withdrawal from tha ignoring disappointments of Louisiana for me. Just realizing that there's other music out there makes me think positive. I cannot tolerate ruining my health and aging quicker, just to chase people who don't appreciate me. One final word of advice before I go: PLEASE make sure you don't become a dad too early, especially in your teens/early 20's and while you're tryna build yourself as an artist!! Too many people who I've tried to promote get caught up in fatherhood, and they lose their passion as a full-time artist. It's like, are you a great dad and a shitty artist, or a great artist and a shitty dad? You can't be 100 in both worlds! With that bein' said, I will continue to be active in my OWN world; doin' what I LOVE doin'!! And, if you can't appreciate that, I could give a FUCK what you think about what I wanna do!! Most of y'all are self-centered, anyway! With only approximately $100 left to my name, tha hard-to-get Louisiana money ain't worth tha shit I have to go through to get it!  It's now time for me to get a REAL job!! My Rating: N/A

Overall: Other than tha random Scooter song, this a consistent mixtape! Too bad it has to come to an end! Unfortunately, we got no artists in Louisiana that have any “money,” so no money, no continuing! Dedication always iz required to push shit like this out! Aight, I gon stop talkin’; I gotta get back to doin’ what I’m doin’!
