Review #1,078: DJ 5150 & Dre "N.O. To The B.R. 7"

Reviewed on 10.30.2011 (Review #1,078)

Review #3 for today iz DJ 5150 & Dre N.O. To The B.R. 7; I finally put tha periods in tha title, since I was unsure tha previous times. Also, this iz 1:47:19?  Guess this wasn’t released on CD? I don’t think cheatin’ tha length iz a good idea… especially, when I have a feelin’ there’ll prolly be novelty, or repetitive artists on here (not sayin’ I looked at tha tracklisting, yet, but that’s what I usually expect, sometimes, wit these compilations). Start Time: 10:48 AM | End Time: 11:45 AM

Disclaimer:
I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals & then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me or have auto-tune in your vocals, I’m not buyin’ it!

01. Calliope Var Feat. B.G. “Uptown”
>>> Sounds like this should get exposure, like tha “Nolia Clap” dayz. Even though when I was 15, 16, I used to think, “that music was okay, and would always be big.” Now, I’m 23, and it’s like, “that music’s tight, but it never really gets out in tha MTVs and all dat, anymore.”  Definitely a jam, here, between tha beat, tha catchy hook, Var doin’ tha damn thang, and Gizzle doin’ a nice job, too! My Rating: 4.6

02. Lil’ Phat “SouthSide”
>>> Nice lil’ beat and semi-okay hook; an okay song, overall, for tha “SouthSide.” My Rating: 3.7

03. Ka$hflow “Headlines”
>>> Sounds a lil’ like Dee-1… Not much of a great start wit tha “money” but it’s decent, overall; sounds like it could go mainstream, in a way… My Rating: 3.5

04. Ray Vicks Feat. 38 Slim “Big Timer”
>>> Sounds like an early 2000s Louisiana vibe, here! Sounds like it could be “big” wit tha sound, here! Ooh, a “shi-shi-shi-shit yea” start to tha 1st verse; nice combo of tha “shi”s!! Speakin’ of a “no-namer,” here’s tha statuses of how people should be divided in: no CD out; a CD out; on TV; that’s how I look at who’s big and who’s in tha same circle. Overall, this iz a decent/good song for me. My Rating: 4.2

05. Level Feat. Young Ready “We Get Dumb”
>>> EQ. A lil’ combined mix between novelty and virgin wit sending things, here. Oh, I heard this already; #13 on Street Credit 3. Now that I’m 23, it’s more of their loss instead of actin’ like a virgin wit sendin’ things; I know people’ll be hittin’ me up instead of my dumb-ass, previous initiatives, since I’m somewhat-retired from random communication! My Current Rating: 4.7

06. Stevie Drumma Feat. Juvenile “Wholelotta”
>>> Sounds good/new; I’m likin’ how Stevie Drumma sounds on here, includin’ his drummin’ beat in tha background, at times! Juvie sounds good for tha feature, here; you know what it iz wit tha collaboration! Even a great, actual outro sound wit it sayin’ Stevie Drumma’s on tha beat! My Rating: 4.0

07. Lil’ Wayne Feat. Birdman “Belee Dat”
>>> Playaz Circle song from ’07 on tha sample? Lookin’ at who’s on tha song, it’s ironic dat tha watered-down, David Guetta/Usher “Without You” just came on; those two go wit these two! DG = too pop, not too dance; LW/Birdman = too pop, not too Louisiana. Nothin’ actually bad, here; at least Wayne & Baby delivered a non-wack song, finally. My Rating: 3.3

08. Birdman Feat. Lil’ Wayne “Y U Mad”
Damn, again? Prolly could’ve subtracted one so tha length of this CD turns into tha length of a CD! >>> Kinda pointless to have two, back to back, but wow, hot beat for a start! Iz that Nicki Minaj on tha hook? Why no source of feature? Not too bad wit Wayne, either; actually, gonna give this a plus! My Rating: 3.9

10. Level Feat. Spitta & Nu$$ie “Pussy-Ass Nigga”
>>> EQ. This looks familiar; lemme see what # it was… #2. Either way, if you wanted to make a CD, you could’ve prolly subtracted tha previous Level song ‘cause this one’s betta for me. Also, Nu$$ie in tha ID? It’s only a sample… Then again, I always put Beezy Bird in tha feature when he goes, “bow, bow,” in tha background of beats. My Current Rating: 4.7

11. A-One (Wissel) Feat. A.R. “What We Doin’”
A lil’ on tha novelty side… I can’t wait to hear artists on this CD that actually pay me for things and are not virgins wit sending CDs, even though depending on wantin’ hard copies iz somewhat in my past! >>> A lil’ long; prolly could’ve shortened… This sounds a lil’ familiar, but iz nothin’ special, overall. My Rating: 3.2

12. Ka$hflow Feat. Curren$y “Paper Mission”
Prolly could’ve limited it to one appearance from an artist in order to save space? Double $, here… >>> Sounds like a good, slow song; good job, Curren$y, on tha 1st verse wit your rhymes! Ka$hflow’s only decent, for me, but it ain’t bad, overall. My Rating: 3.6

13. Curren$y Feat. Lil’ Wayne “Smoke Sumthin’”
Again? >>> Good old school feel… Thought I might’ve seen/heard this somewhere else, but I dunno about hearin’ Wayne’s voice, here… My Rating: 3.4

14. K.G. Feat. Ray Vicks & Trap Louisiana “Drugs Sold”
LOL @ tha straight-up English title, and not an evasion! >>> A DJ Burn One tag? I thought I’m listenin’ to DJ 5150 & Dre? Not bad of a song, overall; barely know Trap Louisiana and don’t think I know who K.G. iz… My Rating: 3.8

½time: A couple extra songs from tha same artists, but overall, this iz pretty good; a 3.9 for tha CD rating.

15. Lee Banks Feat. Marcel P. Black “Dreams Shatter’d”
>>> Don’t know what ta make outta tha long intro… So far, it’s a good vibe, and tha 1st verse from Lee Banks has a different, calm twist to it. P. sounds good wit his preachin’, too; nice lil’ calm-soundin’ song, overall. My Rating: 3.8

16. Jerkaman “Straight From The Nolia”
Let’s hear this 504 switchup! >>> Beat iz only okay; nothin’ much happenin’ wit it, but it does sound good wit this “Jerk”, lol. Glad it’s someone different on this CD, finally; good to hear from this dude… My Rating: 4.1

17. Magnolia Boyz “U Don’t Know Me”
Anotha 504 for my ears… >>> Different style, here; likin’ tha fastness, at times, wit tha title, and tha organ beat! Rhymes sound like they’re on a street level, from some official, Nolia boyz; nice job wit all this, too, even though it’s a lil’ long. Also, gotta comment tha content: “you ain’t bought no smoke from me;” you know I like this shit! My Rating: 4.3

18. Lil’ Boosie Feat. Ray Vicks “Money Got Me Fucked Up”
Novelty. >>> Good, but I don’t have time for this; aight for Ray Vicks, but I’d rather see it in my hand! My services are hella cheap; holla at me, sometime! My Rating: 3.6

19. DJ 5150 Feat. Ville Boyz “What Yo Block Like”
Now, tha producer’s in tha ID (J Buc)? Your own song? >>> Sounds tight, of course, but how does everyone assume to have a “block” that has somethin’ goin’ on? “My block” has nothin’ that goes on, about 98% of tha time. My Rating: 4.4

20. J Buc Feat. Lil’ Cali “Stuck Up”
Double? Finally, a new song after almost two years? >>> Hot shit, especially tha hook; tha beat might’ve been better in tha previous song, but this iz on that A-grade level, still! Glad to hear Buc rappin’ again; kinda felt absent for a while… ROFL, an unsourced Lil’ Cali!!!    Why do people leave him outta tha ID? This happened wit Carter Boy’s CD, I believe, once before? My Rating: 4.5

21. Young Ready Feat. B-Raw, Lil’ Phat & DJ B-Real “Just Like You”
I will add DJ B-Real to tha ID. When I was on tha phone wit him, he felt like people would leave him outta tha IDs when he would do tha hooks. Wit me puttin’ him in tha ID, he feels much betta! My Current Rating: 4.7

22. Shell Feat. Gar “Face Shots”
Looks anticipatin’; Shell, where’s my phone call and interview? >>> Usually, Shell has a borderline 225/borderline 504 feel; this sounds more like some jammin’ shit from tha 225, so thumbs up for tha vibe! Also, good job wit tha 1st verse, strictly aimin’ at people! Anotha jam from Shell; he neva stops and thankfully, doesn’t brag about bein’ on TV in tha past, unlike certain artists I’ve seen in tha past! Good shit from Gar; neva can tell what he sounds like but when he gets on tha tracks, they’re on-n-poppin’! He’s got “100” of everythang? No wonder why he keeps it “100,” too, lol! My Rating: 4.7

23. Max Minelli Feat. Kevin Gates “Touchin’ Da Roof”
Still waitin’ to review that Heart Of A King; tha hard copy I ordered iz just sittin’ on my desk, but I’m reviewin’ CDs in tha order I got ‘em… >>> Tha hook ain’t too bad, here, and tha beat ain’t too bad, either; guess this gon be on a good, decent level? On tha 2nd verse, now, and it’s still on a decent level for me; guess I’ll have ta wait fa Gates ta come on? Good ta hear from Gates; good combo, overall! My Rating: 4.1

24. Down Bad “Bouncin’ Thru”
LOL @ tha reversed ID; title’s “Bouncin’ Thru” and artist’s Down Bad. Didn’t play it on tha air, yet, but it’s good. Nice job wit tha energy, as always, and tha tight beat! My Rating: 4.2

25. Lil’ Boxx “Today”
Set tha bar for my radio edits! Why did it sound like tha quality decreased once tha hook came on? Nice job wit Buc on tha beat and crazy-ass Boxx on tha mic!! My Current Rating: 4.7

26. Jason Lyric Feat. Pimpin’ Magnolia “Million Dollar Click”
>>> A lil’ ripoff of Memphis Bleek/Young Chris “We Ballin’” from ’03 in tha 1st verse, but this ain’t too bad, overall… My Rating: 3.5

27. The Show Feat. Miketaylor, Bronco, H2Pro, DY & Iris P “EGMG Cypher”
Did I get tha names right? A lil’ long for a mixtape that didn’t have enough length… >>> A lil’ “Paid & Full” beat style, here, but why tha dumb-ass Drumma Boy thing in tha beginning as a tag? Good shit from everyone, here; this iz like an automatic high rating ‘cause of it bein’ a freestyle, wit many people, lol! My Rating: 4.7

28. Curren$y “N.O. Shit”
>>> Doesn’t sound like it belongs here, off top. Then again, 1:35 on tha length can squeeze in… Sounds like anotha good freestyle; a lil’ boring wit tha sounding, overall, but it fits as somethin’ good. My Rating: 3.5

29. Magic “Rollin’”
>>> Someone gave this to me as somethin’ to check out and I wondered why. Definitely not for me; what tha hell iz this shit? My Rating: 1.1

Overall: If you were to fit tha songs, I would’ve done without #3, 5, 7, 9 (didn’t hear, but double appearance), 11, 13, 29, and prolly cut endings off to fit you a CD. Either way, not too bad, overall; always enjoy tha mixes of 504 & 225, even though I keep gettin’ hit wit a bunch of novelty feelings.

Review #753: DJ 5150 & Magnolia Boyz "The Power And The Money"

Reviewed on 12.24.2010 (Review #753)

Tha 6th review I have for today iz DJ 5150 & Magnolia Boyz “The Power And The Money, N.O. style! Start Time: 6:30 PM | End Time: 7:42 PM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! 01. Intro
>>> Sounds good for an intro; quite anticipatin’! My Rating: N/A

02. “Power & Money” Feat. Lil’ Wayne & Magnolia Chop
>>> I’m likin’ tha crazy intro and Magnolia Chop doin’ his thang on tha hook! Tha 1st verse has a good feel to it; good shit goin’ on here! “1-800-MAGNOLIA;” you know what it iz, lol! Not bad on Lil’ Wayne’s contribution on dis song, too. He needs to go back to his Louisiana roots, though! We’re talkin’ “Get Something” and before! My Rating: 4.3

03. “Money & The Power” Feat. Birdman
LOL, tha title looks flipped from tha last one, lol… >>> Birdman doin’ a not-so-bad job here on tha 1st verse. His shit sounds betta than Lil’ Wayne’s, surprisingly. I like how he keeps it street in tha rhymes and not on a Pop level. Tha hook’s pretty nice, too; good shit! Tha 2nd veres sounds pretty nice; almost sounds like West Coast shit, in a good way. My Rating: 4.3

04. “Fuck You” Feat. B.G. & Magnolia Chop
Since Magnolia Chop’s on tha feature, I’ll include him on tha feature to #2; didn’t realize he wasn’t a part of tha Magnolia Boyz. >>> Sounds like a good intro wit a hot beat! What a to-tha-point hook, lol! It sounds like I heard it before but I gon picture dat I ain’t heard it before. This iz some tight street shit here! Nothin’ but consistency in tha rhymes and tha good content! Tha streets must REALLY luv dis shit! Here’s B.G. on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit his 504-type shit; good, consistent shit once again! Tha 3rd verse iz pretty nice here wit tha gutta shit goin’ on; no Magnolia Chop, yet? LOL, Magnolia Chop’s randomly on tha 4th verse, soundin’ kinda weird wit tha voice this time, unfortunately. My Rating: 4.4

05. “Play With My Paper” Feat. Wacko & Magnolia Chop
Dis should be pretty ti-ight!! >>> Nice hook; now, Magnolia Chop sounds real tight wit his voice here! DEFINITELY good content; 100% PURE street shit!!! Tha 1st verse sounds pretty good; definitely tight shit goin’ on here! I like tha random “bruh” part in tha verse, too; good shit. Tha 2nd verse iz soundin’ pretty nice from both dudes, doin’ tha damn thang! My Rating: 4.5

06. “Throw Money”
Funny how every title has ta actually do wit tha title; interestin’… >>> At least y’all ain’t fake rappers talkin’ ‘bout “money, money, money, money, money” this, ya dig? Tha hook ain’t too bad and tha beat goes pretty good wit dis. Tha 1st verse has some good street shit at its finest; thumbs up… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, either… Tha 3rd verse sounds like it goes good on tha beat… Nice acapella at tha end. My Rating: 4.1

07. “Job Done”
>>> Good “huh bruh” shit in tha beginning; let’s get it. Sounds like tha kinda shit I’d hear from Calliope Var; good shit for tha hook. Tha 1st verse iz keepin’ thangz consistent like tha last song… Tha 2nd verse’s pretty nice, too. “Nothin’ but dat street shit.” My Rating: 4.2

08. “Raised With Killers” Feat. B.G.
Gutta shit! >>> This iz some tight shit! Dat hook’s definitely gutta to tha bone!! Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ pretty nice wit B.G. doin’ tha damn thang! Tha 2nd verse iz keepin’ dis shit hot; all about tha childhood! Definitely a tight song, overall! Tha 3rd verse even has some pretty-tight shit goin’ on, too! My Rating: 4.4

09. “Hard Times”
>>> Tha beat sounds pretty cool here… Tha hook iz definitely on a street level, also! Definitely good-ass shit again! Nice job wit tha 1st verse, too; good shit y’all got! Not bad on tha 2nd verse, too; feelin’ tha rhymes throughout tha content. My Rating: 4.2

10. “Respect Game”
>>> Feelin’ tha true 504 style here! Good shit in tha 1st verse and tha hook’s definitely some good shit… Tha 2nd verse’s comin’ through wit a good attitude ta deliver dis shit; official right chea! Tha lil’ intermission before tha 3rd verse iz some serious shit, slit-throat style, lol! Tha 3rd verse also keepin’ it G to tha fullest! My Rating: 4.3

11. “Real Round Here” Feat. B.G. & Magnolia Chop
Yay, anotha collab! >>> Good phone call in tha beginning; you know what it iz. Magnolia Chop doin’ a good job on tha hook wit B.G.; definitely true shit! Nice 1st verse goin’ on here wit B.G.; talk about consistent shit fa tha streetz!! Good shit goin’ on here in tha 2nd verse. LOL @ tha “you wiggin’ off dem pillz” outta nowhere; good shit and great content! My Rating: 4.4

½time: Pretty consistent CD, ya dig? So far, y’all at 4.3 for tha CD rating!

12. “Same Ol’ Shit” Feat. Wacko & Magnolia Chop
Heard dis last year on Jimmy The DJ’s “Gangsta Gumbo Vol. 3: Point Of No Return”; glad he brought it first. I really liked it at first but it remains decent/pretty good. My Current Rating: 4.5

13. “Blow Something” Feat. Curren$y
Ooh, looks good… >>> Soulful beat confused me at first but this iz DEFINITELY a jam thanx ta Curren$y helpin’ out!! Good shit on tha hook and tha 1st verse from him iz on ‘n’ poppin’, consistently!!! I felt like tha buzz died off in tha 2nd verse. Even though this iz featuring Curren$y, it should’ve been Curren$y featurin’ y’all, lol. My Rating: 4.5

14. “Blinded” Feat. Magnolia Chop
Keepin’ dis shit up, lol. >>> Now this iz in a bad direction. Curren$y saved tha last joint but there’s not much catchiness in tha beat and hook here for me. Tha verses are aight/nothin’ special. My Rating: 2.8

15. “Shake It Up”
>>> Catchy although it sounds odd ta have a streak of street songs and then, turn to female songs. I like that there’s a small element of tha Bounce rhythm in tha beat. Tha lyrics are nothin’ special but it sounds like a good jam, overall. Tha hook sounds like this iz a club anthem or somethin’. My Rating: 3.7

16. “What It Do”
>>> Anotha female song it sounds like—well, more of everything mixed in one for tha hook. This izn’t too bad; let’s see how tha verses go… Not too bad. I guess #14 made my interest go down for some reason… Tha last verse iz catchy wit all tha “-zzard”, “-zzle”, “zzaint” shit added on tha end-lines! My Rating: 3.8

17. “Moving”
>>> Sounds kinda boring wit tha production; why are these songs now four minutes? Okay, tha content’s definitely nice, especially on tha 2nd verse wit tha drug-dealin’ shit!! I gon start feelin’ dis ‘cause of tha consistent content! It’s like, every line sounds like it’s satisfyin’! My Rating: 4.0

18. “Came Too Far”
An “O” missin’ in tha title, lol; gotta know how ta spell! >>> Again, a lil’ boring wit tha production and tha four-minute curse has got me. Good content but boring for a song, overall. My Rating: 3.4

19. “Fuck Da Game Up”
>>> Still not impressed as far as an overall song… Again, good content but tha beat iz weak once again. Damn, an R&B female on tha hook? What iz goin’ on here? My Rating: 2.6

20. “Sacrifice”
>>> Finally, shorter but not that impressive. I do like this female on tha hook ‘cause it has a good, catchy song. Even though tha beat’s, like, New Yorkish, it still sounds pretty good as a song. My Rating: 3.5

21. “Sun Do Shine” Feat. Birdman
>>> Finally, some catchy music! Afta how many songs? Birdman keepin’ things goin’ wit tha catchiness, whether it’s four minutes or not! Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty nice wit tha content; good rhymes. Tha 3rd verse iz bringin’ dat West Coast style from one of tha earlier songs back; good shit. My Rating: 4.1

22. “Shine” Feat. Birdman
LOL, anotha “shine” title plus Birdman, lol? >>> Sounds hotter wit a Bounce beat! Good content here, doin’ tha damn thang! Tha beat’s pretty crazy at times; good shit! My Rating: 4.2

23. “R.I.P. Magnolia”
Kinda ironic for dis title ‘cause I’d like ta say, “R.I.P. Magnolia Shorty,” even though this was months before. It’s weird dat it works now; what does it have ta do wit, though? >>> I guess this goes out ta all tha ones dat got murdered. Even though a song I’d have low anticipation for, this iz pretty interestin’ and tha beat’s good. Good job wit what’s goin’ on as far as tha content and verses. My Rating: 4.2

Overall: Pretty good CD although most of dat 2nd ½ really got to me. I dunno why tha boredism came into play…

01. DJ 5150 “Call DJ 5150 – 707.418.8437”
LOL, you know what it iz! >>> Sounded like it came outta nowhere wit tha beat, lol. My Rating: N/A

02. Calliope Var Feat. Eldorado Red “I’mma Gangsta”
I like how it’s labeled real nice here on tha mp3 info… Let’s hear dis on a Vybe beat! >>> Good intro and tha hook’s tha truth; sounds gr8 too! Calli’s on tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ nice and fresh here for tha Summer ’10! Really holdin’ it down here fa tha hood to tha fullest! Tha 2nd verse iz here from Eldorado Red and he sounds like he can collab good wit Calliope! “Real”-ass hood shit! LOL, what happened @ 3:20? Sounded like a weird silence spot in tha beat before tha hook came on again… My Rating: 4.4

03. B-Raw Feat. Level & Young Ready “Dumb, Dumb, Duffy (Remix)”
Ooh, remix, lol… >>> Very advanced for tha Summer here wit J Buc on tha beat, lol! Sounds real gr8 as tha original so this iz good competition wit tha original! Even a REALLY upgraded B-Raw verse here!! DEFINITELY REAL CRAZY!!! Should EASILY remain its 5.0 rating! Level sounded pretty crazy on tha 2nd verse; A+ on tha flow too wit err-body so far!! This could be a first where tha original AND tha remix are both perfect-rated 1st listens! LOL, tha same Ready verse… My Rating: 5.0

04. B-Raw “XL”
LOL, what a short-ass ID! >>> Vybe beat and tha beginning’s remindin’ me of dat “I Got Swagger” song for some reason; I guess ‘cause it’s remade vocals while tha otha song was a white guy flow. Tha calm B-Raw on tha 1st verse here wit tha soundin’, lol! Good thing dat “it’s my party…” shit ain’t really tha hook; tha actual hook wit all tha “XL” shit sounds REAL catchy fa some reason!! I guess ‘cause I just luv tha short-ass title, lol! Good shit in tha 2nd verse; very jiggalasive, lol [term made up by me]!! Oh no, tha “my party…” shit’s towards tha ending too… My Rating: 4.3

05. Ray Vicks “John Dillinger”
LOL, this dude outta nowhere again? >>> Neva heard dis song; pretty funny on tha hook wit its tightness and tha name! Also, I’m feelin’ tha Southern beat! LOL @ tha “free my nigga Kevin Gates” shit in tha 1st verse; funny how certain rappers aren’t treated equal when their statuses are like tha same ta me, lol… Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ gutta, especially from tha heart! My Rating: 4.3

06. Delwin The Krazyman Feat. Ceddybu “Macho Man”
Ceddybu has spelled his name as a word, not two words. Anyway, brand new for me; saw it online so let’s see… >>> Really gettin’ sick of these Nu$$ie quotes, especially when they sounded identical… Even Nu$$ie’s brother was okay wit it; I’m not. Regardless, maybe I can finally get Ceddybu on my radio show now although I’d rather hear a song of his… Tha hook sounds good; I like how it’s repetitive durin’ tha 2nd ½ of tha hook… Ceddy sounds a lil’ like a huge child (or someone wit a huge-pitched voice) wit tha vocals on his verse; it’s definitely tolerable for me though (of course). Delwin’s back on tha 3rd verse and what’s a “Kimbo Slice?” Heard it twice and I keep hearin’ it; iz it anotha catchphrase? ROFL @ his “saggin’;” Delwin’d down, ROFL! I like all tha “teeth” shit at tha end! My Rating: 3.7

07. Max Minelli Feat. Reno & Young Ready “Gunto”
Interestin’ title and collab… >>> Good sound on tha beat and Max’s pretty gutta on tha 1st verse! Tha rest of tha 1st verse’s cool too… LOL @ this hook and title; good shit! Reno’s comin’ through pretty gutta too on tha 2nd verse; consistentness at its finest!! A lil’ boring start to Ready’s verse here on tha 3rd verse… If these verses from him sound like this, I hope to not hear him again on this mixtape; twice iz enough… Doesn’t sound like tha otha two verses to me, unfortunately. My Rating: 4.2

08. B.G. & Lil’ Boosie Feat. Gar “The Bottom”
>>> I didn’t get ta hear dat B.G./Boosie CD yet so I’m gettin’ tha exclusive hook-up on dis right now. Cool production here wit a good job on tha hook! Gizzle’s on tha 1st verse and it’s mo hot, hood shit! Gar must’ve snuck into tha hook ‘cause sometimes, I don’t recognize him… Yea, yea, a Boosie verse for tha 2nd verse…; I don’t need ta really say anything. Speakin’ of “mosquitos killin’ people,” there’s these dirt diver mud wasps ‘round Long Island, NY ‘cause of tha hot weather, lol. This year’s tha 1st time I’m seein’ ‘em… My Rating: 4.5

09. Lucci Lou Feat. Mack Maine, T@ & Lil’ Wayne “Bitch, I’m From The N.O.”
Not sure how excited I am fa dis…; who’s T@? >>> Sounds like a mainstream song wit an undaground title. Mack Maine’s on tha 1st verse and it’s just okay; I don’t need ta really say anything about him since he’s kinda mainstream for me… Dat Lucci Lou dude’s on tha 2nd verse and this izn’t somethin’ I’d break a back for to hear… Mysterious T@ dude on tha 3rd verse… Catchy rhymes on this verse… My Rating: 3.7

10. Magnolia Chop “Over”
>>> Bad start for me wit tha beat. Oh, this ‘pose ta be tha Drake beat, smh? Thought dis was Skip or someone from tha Nolia clique at first and not Magnolia Chop… Ehh @ tha hook; not really crazy about it at all. Horrible, gay vocals on tha 1st verse; didn’t expect dis gettin’ worse! Shouldn’t even deserve 2:52, especially on a mainstream beat!! I thought it was 2010; why am I still hearin’ vocals soundin’ like dis? Let’s throw up a gay sign! SMH @ “follow me on Twitter;” rap before tha technology websites! What iz wit tha rappin’? I thought he just did hooks and sung? My Rating: 1.1

11. Kevin Gates “No Hook”
Hope this iz betta… >>> Beat’s a lil’ boring fa me; he had betta songs on tha previous mixtapes! Tha rhymes are just okay here too; a lil’ betta than tha beat. “No hook?” Thought there was gonna be just straight rappin’ without a beat break on tha “hook?” Tha 2nd verse’s only decent fa me… I prolly would’ve heard a betta story from Gates. LOL, a 3rd verse fit too? I believe it’s tha best verse outta this song so far…; a lil’ betta for tha hood here. My Rating: 3.8

12. Lil’ Boosie Feat. Locco “Rain”
Looks hella boring; might’ve heard it too… >>> Nope, new for me. Why do we need anotha Boosie song? Maybe a good verse but not that fitting of a beat and a really bad hook fa me. WTF? Must be a fuck up title; I KNEW IT!!! Sounds really familiar wit Locco on tha hook (not sourced); I could careless anyway… Tha 2nd verse’s pretty strong too; a really mixed review from me. My Rating: 2.1

½time: A coupla fuck ups to where tha average CD rating decreased by 0.5 due to them… But, it’s all about quality shit so let’s see if some mo “Dumb, Dumb, Duffy”-type shit can come outta dis; only a 3.7 average CD rating so far.

13. Mr. Marcelo “Lights Out”
Hopefully a refreshin’ start to tha 2nd ½… >>> I knew it would be pretty stale for a start; not a fan of these kinda beats. Good rappin’ from Mr. Celo though… Good ending wit “I run tha undaground!” My Rating: 3.0

14. Mouse On Tha Track Feat. Lil’ Trill, Foxx, Webbie & Lil’ Boosie (Trill Fam) “Turn The Beat Up”
A.K.A. Trill Fam here. Didn’t know there was a lineup like dis ‘til it actually premiered on Music Choice Rap last week. It’s “Turn The Beat Up,” not “Turn It Up.” For some reason, this sounds cheesy on tha hook as I’m hearin’ tha title too clearly but iz still real hot. Iz dat tha biggest dickridin’ order or what? It’s like an order ta decide who can get dickrided tha most, smh… Good 1st verse from Mouse, holdin’ it down as always. Tha 1st ½ of tha 2nd verse from Lil’ Trill’s good and tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse from Foxx’s really good (as usual)! Tha 1st ½ of tha 3rd verse from Webbie’s good wit how he comes through, usually, on tracks so you know I always respect tha Web, lol! Tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse from Boosie’s soundin’ gr8 this time, lol! My Current Rating: 4.5

15. Lil’ Cali Feat. Level & Tank Jones “Money Right”
Now “right” when it was “rite” previously; you’re funny! BTW, why iz there a Lil’ Cali verse also on tha 2nd verse? Bullshit! No wonder why it’s “right” instead of “rite,” smh… Oh wait, no Tank Jones verse, lol? I did like tha Level verse betta so tha rating’ll be a 4.6 instead… Huh? Why all tha confusion? Now, Level’s verse was a ½ and Tank Jones’s was a ½? Too confusin’ so I’ll go to 4.5 instead! My Rating: 4.5

16. Young Ready Feat. Lil’ Dundray “Beep Beep”
>>> New Young Ready song wit J Buc on tha beat… Good beat but why does it sound like Delwin The Krazyman a lil’? I think there’s too much hangin’ out or somethin’, which I don’t know how dat’s done… I was waitin’ ta hear this when it came ta review time and here we are…; not on tha female-R&B tip, luckily… Only a decent 1st verse fa me… Someone’s on tha 2nd verse; almost a lil’ weird ta figure out who it iz… I googled it and it’s Lil’ Dundray; not bad wit hearin’ him for tha 1st time… Don’t know why he wasn’t listed… Didn’t think I’d hear tha word “YouTube” outta Ready’s mouth on a song… This iz missin’ a lil’ bit of some gangsta shit… I still think tha “beep beep” shit iz pretty catchy on tha hook. But, wit this timin’, I don’t think this’ll be successful fa me… My Rating: 4.2

17. Magnolia Boyz Feat. B.G. “Fuck U”
Now DIS iz a Young Ready-type attitude, only it’s bein’ played in Magnolia Boyz and B.G.’s handz!! >>> Very good beat here and tha hook’s just gutta to tha bone when it comes ta tha streetz!! Such a REAL GR8 beat here ta hold tha streetz and street rhymes down!! Hot shit comin’ from B.G. on tha 2nd verse; DEFINITELY feelin’ tha 5+ minute length! Mo Magnolia shit on tha 3rd verse wit this gutta-ass shit!! Some Magnolia Chop singin’ towards tha end? Now, it’s remindin’ me of tha “Same Ol’ Shit” but dat A-Tune makes tha rating go down fa me. My Rating: 4.5

18. 2 Saint Presents The Recruits Feat. Max Minelli, Down Bad, Derty, C-Murder, Rudye & IL Duce “Dumb”
I was like, what’s this song? Completely ID’d wrong! I’ll fix dat once it’s finished. For now, lemme review this finally… Max’s on tha 1st verse and he’s bringin’ his energy to tha track! Terror of Down Bad’s on tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse and it’s cool but some of those quotes get boring… LOL @ tha Derty hook; random… He’s even on tha start of tha 2nd verse. I still feel like he should put a CD out before all these features…; not bad shit from him… Tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse’s C-Murder and it sounds good; gives a good fit here! Tha start of tha 3rd verse iz Rudye; why ain’t he on tha ID? He was AT LEAST on BET!! Interestin’ shit from him; he spittin’ some good, updated 2010 shit! Tha 2nd part of tha 3rd verse iz IL Duce (anotha dude not on tha ID here) and it sounds gr8 wit his contributin’ rhymes! There’s a 3rd part of tha 3rd verse and it’s JR Dot of Down Bad; good fa what it iz. Lemme see if it cuts off like it did wit mine… Yup, it cut off. My Current Rating: 4.4
ID Correction: It’s not C-Murder Feat. Max Minelli, Derty & Down Bad, it’s 2 Saint Presents The Recruits Feat. Max Minelli, Down Bad, Derty, C-Murder, Rudye & IL Duce!

19. One-i Feat. Savage & Lil’ Cali “Sick Wit It”
LOL, there’s really a “c” in tha title here so dat’s an error. Heard this on about 10 CDs by now; kinda late… I don’t mind dat tha 3rd verse was cut on here either, lol. My Current Rating: 4.8

20. Savage Feat. Mouse On Tha Track “Work It Out”
Looks old but prolly new from Savage’s new CD; lemme hear! >>> LOL, HOT shit once again from Savage and no less, my wish came true from two years ago wit Mouse on tha collaboration!! Cool Bounce-soundin’ influenced beat here and tha 1st verse from Savage’s soundin’ jammin’ so dat’s a plus! LOL, eatin’ all tha pie here, Savage; he’s on tha 2nd verse too! Mo jammin’-ass Savage shit on tha 2nd verse! He DEFINITELY doin’ a nice job wit holdin’ dis down! I look forward ta hearin’ dis when I hear it on Savage’s new CD too! Mouse’s on tha 3rd verse and it’s catchy; prolly was just okay wit Savage but a collaboration’s like a party, lol! My Current Rating: 4.5
EDIT: Damn, tricked again! Didn't realize this was from tha '08 dayz; my bad.

21. ABC “Kimbo Slice”
LOL, there’s always a chance where I accidently peek at one of tha titles and fa damn sure, I’m always correct when I thought I saw a mirage! I usually call ‘em A+B+C (A.R., BluBlack & Classik) but it’s aight as ABC here… Did I e-mail dis ta you? I e-mailed it to a lotta people and here it iz… Lemme review it here… >>> Beat’s good; above average since it’s BluBlack on tha beat. Tha hook’s kinda catchy but I kinda don’t have anything ta say about it sometimes… Why iz BluBlack’s verse censored and shit? I was tryin’ to radio edit it and all tha censored shit was confusin’ me… Good verse; okay fa him though. I still feel kinda funny if this iz tha “single” from tha “Da Formula” CD… Tha 2nd verse iz A.R.; catchy here wit tha flow… Classik’s on tha 3rd verse and it’s also decent… Maybe if I heard this a bunch of times, I’d like it betta but it’s a decent song fa me. My Current Rating: 3.8

22. Fiend Feat. Shawty & Conerboy P “Spotlight”
Not sure of this title but let’s hear dis lineup! >>> Tha beginning’s not bad but tha beat’s pretty gutta to tha bone!! DEFINITELY hot shit comin’ out tha 1st verse here for tha undaground!! Tha hook’s cool; “spotlight” shit… Tha 2nd verse sounds like a white dude, lol? Good rhymes but not much fa me ta say… Now, tha 3rd verse’s pretty good and fits wit dis joint; good shit! My Rating: 4.1

23. Q-Red “Lean & Weed”
Why iz it only 1:29? Random new song; I’d thought I’d hear “To Particles” or somethin’, lol! >>> It’s funny ta have an age of 1x (x = 0-9) and be all drugged up, lol… Tha vocals on tha hook almost scared me at first but tha verse keeps me company so I’m DEFINITELY likin’ dis catchy shit! So short ‘cause it’s just a worldwide exclusive sample? My Rating: 4.7

24. Curren$y Feat. Trademark & Young Roddy “Roasted”
Thought dat was Ready on tha feature for a second, lol! Let’s see this endin’ song wit a good title… >>> Kinda like an endin’ song here; tha song sounds dry wit tha beat. Dry 1st verse ‘til tha “weed” shit @ 1:06… Tha hook’s decent for me; nothin’ ta brag about… Curren$y’s on tha 2nd verse and although his voice holds it down, tha rhymes are just decent fa me; at least they’re on a hood level… Tha 3rd verse I have nothin’ ta really say about… Funny cold-ass endin’ to tha mixtape, lol! My Rating: 2.9

Overall: I feel like my ratings decrease wit each CD. But, there’s hot songs on here so thumbs up! Really surprised me wit tha Q-Red near-endin’!!

Review #347: C-Murder "Community Service (Hosted by DJ Hektik)"

Reviewed on 12.06.2009 (Review #347)

It’s FrankieThaLuckyDog once again, gettin’ ready fa anotha review! Now that I’m done wit tha One-i reviewz, it’s now time for some C-Murder reviewz. Let’s get this 1st one outta tha way right now for my boy locked up in jail (FREE C-MURDER!!!!!)! Here goes my review fa C-Murder Community Service (Hosted by DJ Hectik)! Start Time: 5:15 PM | End Time: 6:51 PM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0. Each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself with my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! 01. C-Murder “Melody Of Innocense”
Interestin’ title here; this should be a GR8 start to this mixtape!! >>> Sounds like a gr8 DJ intro from DJ Hectik! This iz DEFINITELY goin’ hard right now wit tha REALLY RAW hook right here; LUV tha title!!! Tha beat iz DEFINITELY on a grimy level and I’m REAL GLAD I’m reviewin’ this CD right now!! Tha 1st verse iz DEFINITELY explainin’ his street life; gotta luv tha lyrics!! Also, gotta luv his flow and GRIMY voice here!!! Tha 2nd verse soundin’ good here; keep this shit up wit your lyrical daily content!! Sad ta see your “life” consistin’ of “bein’ trapped.” Hope it reverts back ta normal eventually! Tha 3rd verse has you keepin’ this shit up once again; you REALLY do it big here!! All your real life lyrics are turnin’ inta gr8ness on this mixtape right now!!! My Rating: 4.9

02. Roach Killa Feat. Webbie “Block Work”
I heard Webbie in tha very beginning… This should be EXTREMELY HOT wit that title!!! >>> I was readin’ tha comments on tha Amazon.com tracklisting and they say this iz a compilation. I’m REAL GLAD I was lured into a compilation outta nowhere!! Webb doin’ tha damn thang on tha 1st verse here; he supplyin’ tha streetz REAL WELL here!! Tha hook DEFINITELY has it on lock wit tha whole “block work” shit!! :tu Tha 2nd verse iz here from… I’ll have ta think of exactly who it iz (might be Big Head), but they sound gr8 on this shit! Up, anotha dude hopped onto tha track on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse… Pretty good also; I liked tha 1st ½ betta with tha 1st ½ dude’s betta voice! Ooh, tha 3rd verse DEFINITELY has tha street/drug life on lock!! I’ll have ta google all tha songs if I don’t know tha featured people. Gr8 shit once again from Louisiana (as always)!! My Rating: 4.5
EDIT: Damn! I should’ve used tha iTunes tracklisting instead of tha Amazon.com one ‘cause iTunes shows tha artists!

03. Fiend Feat. Joey Queens & Tru Sosa “Get Ya Weight Up”
Who’ll be on this joint? It looks like a REAL GR8 title so I’m DEFINITELY anticipatin’ it to tha FULLEST!!!!! >>> Sounds like a representa from tha “3rd Ward” (as he said). DEFINITELY a HOT intro here as it’s mixin’ gangsta shit wit a REAL TIGHT beat!! Tha hook iz here and it’s TOO TIGHT!!! I only got through ½ of tha hook and already luved it to tha fullest!! I hear tha title now and it’s DEFINITELY havin’ tha streetz on lock!!! I wonder who this iz?!? REAL GR8 voice for tha 1st verse; SO GANGSTA here!!! REALLY doin’ tha damn thang here; such a GR8 16!!! Tha 2nd verse iz here and tha dude iz just TOO GR8 on this shit!! You KNOW I luv it when undaground Rap music REALLY goes tha undaground route!! I WISH more people would take notice!! That’s why I do these reviewz ta gain attention!! Tha 3rd verse iz here and it sounds like tha dude iz reppin’ fa TRU, so you DEFINITELY know this iz that true gangsta shit!! My Rating: 4.9

04. Kidd Kidd Feat. Quarter Key “Who Them Boyz Iz”
I like tha title, includin’ tha “z”’s! This should already tell me we got anotha HUGE one comin’ up!! >>> Tha intro iz pretty tight! I hear Quarter Key in tha beginning (I know who he iz); good shit so far! This iz tha best I heard from him so far!! REALLY GR8 when it’s on tha drug tip again! Tha flow on tha 1st verse iz REAL, REAL CATCHY!!! If y’all inta tha drug game and hearin’ tha lyrics, you’ll enjoy this one to tha fullest!! REAL NICE job wit tha 1st verse; SUCH on a REAL GR8 N.O. tip here!! Quarter Key really doin’ tha damn thang here!! Tha 2nd verse sounds good too; nice blend in fa this mixtape! A lil’ on tha mainstream tip for tha 2nd verse, but it did its thang to tha fullest! Tha 3rd verse sounds like it’s a different person but does it NICE still!! Thanx for tha numba, Quarter Key. My Rating: 4.4

05. Foxx “I’m On My T-Pain”
Damn! Where’s tha gay community fa this one?!? >>> Well, we got a gay beat, weird vocals, but an okay 1st ½ of tha hook. Tha 2nd ½ of tha hook iz extremely bad. No need ta b e “on your T-Pain!” Gr8 humpin’ lyrics for tha gurlz in tha 1st verse though. Even “rollin’ on a jiggalater” soundin’ good ta hear. However, this ain’t my kinda song!! Why would C-Murder, DJ Hectik or ANYBODY approve a song like this for a mixtape?!? :confused I’m still really likin’ tha jiggalatin’ lyrics in tha 2nd verse though. This must be a Baton Rouge or Shreveport representa here… My Rating: 3.0

06. C-Murder Feat. Jahbo “It’s So Hard”
This iz more street soundin’ prolly; let’s see tha result… >>> What’s wit tha censorin’ of tha DJ? No need ta be clean!! Sounds like some gr8 Rap music fa people right here. Tha hook iz an R&B singer and it sounds pretty good fa a C-Murder song ‘cause it’s usually pretty gutta and gangsta. I thought for a second I heard Auto-Tune on C-Murder at one point in tha 1st verse? Hopefully, it was just my imagination! Tha 2nd verse sounds good wit what you’re spittin’, C. :tu I like tha “just us/justice” part; that was REAL tight! C-Murder sounded nice and grimy wit his “I have a dream” part before tha 3rd verse started! Nice job wit tha 3rd verse also as you kept spittin’ tha everyday life type shit! My Rating: 3.8

07. Ghetto Commission Feat. T.C. “Off Safety”
This should be good; I got faith in it!! >>> Sounds like a love me/hate me type hook here. I like tha start and it sounds like these boyz gon do tha damn thang here! Nice “hypnosis” line in tha 1st verse! I also like tha “talk back/back talk” part too! DEFINITELY hot shit comin’ from GC here!! Tha 2nd verse iz here and tha dude sounds cool wit how he sounds and what he ‘bout ta spit! Good shit wit err-thang that was spit about tha streetz! Tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse from anotha one of tha GC dudes has a faster flow. Still keepin’ it gangsta here so there’s no need ta down-talk anything goin’ on now! I like that “hum bruh” iz said in tha hook here and there. :tu My Rating: 4.3

08. C-Murder Feat. Tru Sosa “You Don’t Want”
What could this title lead into? >>> Tha raw sounds of C-Murder!!! Gotta luv tha gutta beat and tha grimy hook!! NOBODY “wants” what C-Murder was negatively hit with! Tha 1st verse did its thang; you REAL gutta wit it, C!! You NEVA stop what you’re doin’, whether you’re in jail or not!! I wonder who tha dude iz on tha 2nd verse? Sounds aight fa what he iz doin’… Iz his name Sosa? I rememba in one of tha previous songs on here that I heard this dude and he mentioned TRU? Must be a former member? Tha 3rd verse iz soundin’ good wit you on it, doin’ tha damn thang here! My Rating: 4.4

09. C-Murder Check In
Time ta check in on this REAL gr8/gangsta/gutta CD right chea!! >>> That was gangsta right there; keep showin’ err-body that you got it on lock! My Rating: N/A

10. Calliope Var Feat. Curren$y, Mr. Marcelo & Roca B “U Can Catch Me”
Ooh, this one made it to this CD; good shit! It has a NICE start here and I’m DEFINITELY feelin’ tha 2009 Bounce feel in tha beat, lol! Gotta luv tha “dunn-dunn-dunn-dunn” Bounce beat! GREAT hood rappin’ here on tha 1st verse from Calliope, doin’ tha damn thang to tha max!! Luv tha “blowin’ on purp” shit; tight shit here! Tha hook here iz DEFINITELY nice too; great ½ singin’/rappin’! Tight shit, and tha 2nd verse iz soundin’ good too from Mr. Marcelo! Fuckin’ feelin’ these rhymes, as they mix GREAT wit tha uptempo beat here!!! Keep tha rhymes comin’, y’all!! Tha 3rd verse here (Curren$y), and here, he sounds betta! Glad he sounds faster on tha verse this time! Nice job wit dis joint right here! My Current Rating: 4.6

11. Gar Feat. Lil’ Real One “I Ain’t Got Nuthin’ On Me”
I heard his Certified Muzik Vol. 1 CD earlier in tha Summer. I don’t think this one was on there so I finna get ta hear it now!! >>> DEFINITELY an N.O. vibe here wit tha way tha beat sounds!!! Catchy-ass street shit here and tha hook DEFINITELY defines defense against gettin’ caught! Tha 1st verse iz pretty good; DEFINITELY got an N.O. vision right now while listenin’ ta this!! Tha flow iz SOOOOO GR8 and all tha REAL GR8 content!! Wow, that 2nd verse iz REAL, REAL FAST!!! GR8 SHIT HERE!!! Lots of shit here and it’s STILL jammin’ all tha way through!! My Rating: 4.5

12. C-Murder Check In 2
Ooh, anotha check in! Let’s see what he’s gotta say right now! >>> Anotha gangsta-ass skit here from dat boy C-Murder! Keep this shit up; I like how you said, “bruh.” I just fuckin’ luv that word wit all my heart, lol!! My Rating: N/A

13. B.G. Feat. Gar & T.C. “’Bout Dis Grindin’”
Ooh, this one made it too! Heard this on Gar’s Certified Muzik Vol. 1 and it’s pretty good! Sounds like The Runners in tha beginning/tha beat. :tu Ooh, great hook wit tha title repeatin’, Runners style!!! :tu B.G. in tha intro talkin’ and now, rappin’ in tha 1st verse! Of course, doin’ his thang, and always bein’ himself when it comes ta this Rap shit! :tu Lookin’ back: B.G. was tha 1st Louisiana artist ta retire on my Top 10 Countdown back in 2003 wit “Hottest Of The Hot (Clinton Sparks Remix);” CRAZY shit!!! Gar’s on tha 2nd verse here and I think he sounds betta; I like tha way his flow sounds wit tha fastness in tha beginning and then, just deliverin’ that shit in tha next few lines. I like his “pill” line at 2:08 and then, all tha shit about drug-dealin’ ‘em afta that; nice shit here! Really felt his verse and I’m really feelin’ tha hook wit Gizzle goin’, “nigga what chu know;” nothin’ but tightness!! Tha 3rd verse sounded good too, blendin’ in wit this shit! DJ Hectik sounds gr8 on tha endin’ too wit this shit! :tu My Current Rating: 4.6

14. G-Dinero Feat. Pastor Troy “Tilt Ya Hat”
This an interestin’ title; I wonder what ta expect from it… >>> I hear Auto-Tune in tha beginning so this must be pretty gay… Well, tha hook iz pretty good. Why did there have ta be a gay-ass intro? :confused Sounds like it’s Pastor Troy on tha 1st verse; iz he a featured artist in this or does G-Dinero sound like him? I think he’s a featured artist. I heard him say, “PT Cruiser,” so it’s him. Slowly tryna figure out all tha featured people on this CD! Of course, his style and tha way he raps iz just REAL TIGHT as always!! It was real great hearin’ him all of a sudden; it feels like it has been a long minute! Tha 2nd verse must be tha G-Dinero dude… Soundin’ good; what’s wit this bein’ a clean version? I hear a female on tha 3rd verse; wow, FAST rappin’!! Iz that Ms. Jade (I rememba her and Pastor Troy collaboratin’ back in ’02)? If so, that’s watz good!! Other than tha gay Auto-Tune background vocals intro, it sounds like a GR8 anthem! My Rating: 4.4

15. M-11 “I’mma Dog”
I see this title here and there and I hope this artist can do tha damn thang on this one!! >>> Sounds like an old Young Jeezy beat; REAL GR8 Southern soundin’ here!! He sounds cool on this shit and tha hook iz DEFINITELY watz good! Interestin’ lyrics here and tha 1st verse iz basically him introducin’ himself ta me. :tu I like tha shout outs at tha end of tha 1st verse; good shit here! Tha 2nd verse sounds good also; you doin’ ya thang all by yoself on this shit right here and it’s real good!! Tha 3rd verse holdin’ this track down also! Speakin’ of holdin’ it down, it DEFINITELY iz holdin’ it down now wit tha fastness!! My Rating: 4.3

16. Magnolia Boyz “Play Wit My Paper”
Looks like we gon have a gr8 song once again on here!! Luvin’ tha consistency wit these CDs!!! >>> Tha hook iz pretty catchy. Glad it’s singin’ mixed wit gangsta shit. Yea!! Sum drug lyrics in tha 1st verse; y’all doin’ a gr8 job on this song right here for this mixtape! I like how it said “bruh” right before tha 1st verse ended; good shit right here! Tha 2nd verse sounds like it’s on a gangsta level also! My Rating: 4.2

17. C-Murder “Digiwaxx”
Catchy title; let’s see if tha song iz! >>> Sounds like a slow start fa this gangsta mixtape… It iz C-Murder and it sounds okay for a start. Tha hook was somewhat catchy. Tha 1st verse sounds like tha music business or somethin’ bein’ discussed? I guess that’s cool ta hear. Tha 2nd verse iz here and more of tha music business iz bein’ applied to this song. Tha song wound up becomin’ catchy; I’m glad you rapped about a bunch of thingz wit music! Tha beat even sounds betta now that I’m hearin’ more of it! My Rating: 4.0

18. Skip & Wacko “That Slangin’ Muzik”
Ooh, REAL GR8 title and anotha N.O. representa here!!! >>> DEFINITELY feelin’ tha chantin’ in tha beginning!! It fits tha gangsta style REAL GOOD ta where this song just sounds REAL, REAL GANGSTA HERE!!! :tu It’s almost like you can see blood, fights and ERR-THANG gangsta while listenin’ to tha hook!! Wow, tha 1st verse iz SO X-PLOSIVE!!!!!!!!!! HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! VERY HOT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tha flow iz nice and slow while tha beat just stays 100% top notch!!! Tha 2nd verse iz STILL on this HUGE, HUGE gangsta style!!! It’s TOO INSANE wit tha beat takin’ ova!!! It’s almost like tha world’s about ta end or somethin’ REAL POWERFUL!!! Automatically, I feel tha need ta say this song iz PERFECT!!! My Rating: 5.0

19. C-Murder Feat. Malachi, Mr. Magic, Skip & Detroit “From The Bottom”
How will we follow up tha HOTTEST song on here??? >>> Wow, thanx DJ Hectik fa introducin’ err-body on this joint! Tha beat iz pretty hot and tha hook iz REAL nice!! Tha hook iz how I feel when I was a nobody and now, two years later, am an icon fa undaground Louisiana rappers (mainly in Baton Rouge)! Thanx ta ME and my reputation!!! :tu Tha 1st verse sounds pretty good here; all about tha N.O. here! Malachi did tha damn thang on tha 1st verse; good shit to tha fullest!! Dat boy Magic on tha 2nd verse, doin’ such a FUCKIN’ gr8 job wit his raw voice!! I still luv how he delivers his lyrics to this date!! Always luved his style and I can’t wait ta check him out on my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon wit his older CDs he released!! I hear C-Murder ‘bout ta take it ova on tha 3rd verse!! Yea, he’s “tha locksmith;” too raw here!! Kinda short, but you KNOW he did tha damn thang! Here comes tha 4th verse from Skip and he’s STILL goin’ off from tha last song on here of his!! Gr8 job ta follow-up on this REAL GR8 collaboration here!!! I like his “dawg” parts. :tu My Rating: 4.7

20. Calliope Boyz (Calliope Var, C-Murder, Kayotic, Popeye & Doefus) “Home Of The Dope (Remix)”
Tha final song on this REAL GR8 compilation mixtape from tha N.O.!! Let’s see who holds it down!!! >>> Oh, it’s dat boy Calliope Var! I KNEW it was him ‘cause I rememba’d this title! Why iz it so long? Iz it a remix or somethin’? Lemme see back when I reviewed this… *Checks* Okay, this iz tha remix! Reviewed it on his New Calliope City CD and this iz what I said: Still hearin’ dat GR8 hook on this GR8 beat!! :tu Glad ta hear it again and now, Calliope’s on tha 1st verse here, deliverin’ it REAL GOOD!! DEFINITELY keepin’ it street here wit all tha shit he’s spittin’ about!! Here comes this ANTICIPATIN’ 2nd verse from C-Murder… Yes, it’s him and it’s DEFINITELY, ALWAYS street when it comes ta him!! :tu Talk about for tha hood!! He just REALLY doesn’t disappoint wit this shit!! Now, we got tha 3rd verse here and it’s just CONSISTENT!! Who doesn’t like street shit? Kayotic DOIN’ it BIG!! Anybody dat keeps it street deserves a NICE amount of money and street credit!! Shit yea!! Tha 4th verse from tha Popeye dude iz REAL, REAL GR8 wit tha flow and vocals!!! :tu STILL keepin’ it street here; TOO TIGHT!!! Prolly tha HARDEST verse on this remix!!! We still got a remainin’ verse from Doefus, so let’s see tha newbie unleash himself on tha 5th verse!! Still good, although I REALLY like tha “smoke break” part; TIGHT shit all tha way through!! DEFINITELY told tha streetz what he ‘bout wit dat gutta, hood shit!! DEFINITELY a deserved remix right here!!! My Current Rating: 4.9
