Looks like we’re gonna start this off right! >>> Sounds good; was caught off-guard wit tha “we don’t shmoke 1, we shmoke 2.” Thought it was gon be 100% str8 pillhead shit but this sounds good. Toward tha end of tha hook, he goin’ “2 By 2,” as far as tha pillz go. Wit dat bein’ said, good job wit tha hook & rappin’ ova this beat. Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it sounds cool; glad he luv gettin’ fulla dat shit! Tha 2^nd verse’s pretty dope, too; gotta dig it! “Dat nigga fulla dat shit!” My Rating: 4.2

02. Jaye London & Famous “Aim Game Nasty”

>>> Sounds cool wit this vibe; almost sounds like Supa (sampled) on tha hook, when they say tha title. Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s soundin’ good, strictly “rollin’ on dat suicide!” Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and it’s cool; no Supa sample here, but it sounded like him… Overall, I’m diggin’ this; let’s keep it goin’! My Rating: 3.8

03. Shon Thang “Murda Man Talk”
>>> Almost ain’t feel tha voice, at first (thought it was YoungBoy or somethin’). However, this ain’t too bad. Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it str8; let’s see what else this got… Hearin’ tha hook and tha voice sounds a lil’ more annoying, based off tha stronger emotion bein’ delivered. I’ono, I’ll have ta see how this one progresses… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and it’s aight. Overall, I thank I’m slightly more annoyed than impressed… My Rating: 2.6

>>> A DJ Swift beat, here; likin’ this title, too… Sounds like a good lil’ gangsta-soundin’ hook, wit tha cockin’ goin’ on. Beat’s on point ta keep these dudes hyped; good shit! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s soundin’ good; gotta be “fulla dat good…!” Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and dude sound pretty quick wit tha rappin’; good shit. Feelin’ his BR swag, as far as how he raps; good shit. My Rating: 3.8

05. Gang Music “How To Act”

>>> Likin’ this intro/hook; “fulla purp!” Tha beat sounds pretty dope, too, once it kicks in! Sounds like a classic Mouse/Q-Red/B-Real production; good shit! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it sounds good ta get tha “whole club dumb;” late 2010’s-type BR shit! “I finna hit up Vibes 2night;” I still gotta hit dat bitch up. I went to a coupla places (DJ’s Club Elite, Bella Noche, Tremon’s & a few others) but there’s a few I gotta hit up. Can’t wait fa my shake back! One day, next decade, I guess? Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 2^nd verse, here… Ain’t expect tha deeper-soundin’ voice; almost doesn’t fit tha energy level? Not bad but luckily, it was only a ½ verse and now, we got anotha member of Gang Music on tha 2^nd ½ of tha 2^nd verse… Comin’ through, bar’d-up! Good shit! My Rating: 4.2

06. Mista Cain feat. T.Y. & Lil’ Soulja Slim “Break Bread”

No title? >>> Sounds a lil’ catchy but shitty wit tha vocals, on tha hook. Guess this one called “Break Bread”? Got a normal-soundin’ Mista on tha 1^st verse, here, soundin’ like he braggin’, braggin’. “$30,000 in dat bag,” huh? Surprised I ain’t even get a dolla fa all tha great shit I do fa BR, yet, from him; disappointing! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse from B.G.’s son and it str8; good lil’ contribution. Now, to anotha son: Soulja Slim’s, on 3^rd verse: Soundin’ good wit what he spittin’; “Magnolia to da bone.” Good verses, here, despite tha shitty-soundin’ hook. On anotha note, Mista should “Break Bread” wit me! I been showin’ him luv since May 2009! My Rating: 2.8

07. Rocky Mountainz feat. Jade Delvalle “I Am Dope”

I know this one familiar; an added feature, this time? Needless ta say, I still feel tha same way as I did about this on Vol. 5… Did this new version need a female? It’s cool; it fits tha vibe, so it’s a non-affectin’ bonus. My Current Rating: 3.5

08. GG Records “Outside”
>>> Reppin’ fa da “slimez,” here… Sounds a lil’ annoying wit tha way they sound, on tha hook… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and I’ono if I’m diggin’ this flow. Just sounds like a bunch of lyrics bein’ slammed in yo face… Sometimes, I dig it; I might dig otha songs of theirs, in tha future… Not feelin’ tha voice of tha 2^nd verse, neither; gotta ditch tha effects ‘cause it affects! Get it?! Like, what’s goin’ on from 1:48 – 2:00? Lyrics, lyrics, lyrics, lyrics, lyrics, lyrics, lyrics just bein’ shoved atcha! My Rating: 1.4

09. Beezy K “System”
Now wit only one “K”, unless I keep confusin’ this wit tha Beezy KKK; am I confusin’ myself, right nah? >>> Sounds like a YoungBoy flow; good rhymes but nothin’ special to catch on to me… Let’s keep tha YoungBoy-soundin’ music ta other people—oh wait, for tha past 19 years, I’ve been all about tha underrated. Guess I betta stay that way? My Rating: 2.2

10. Flow Gamble “Fuck A Hook”

>>> Sounds like a regular-soundin’ day in tha life of Flow Gamble, here, on tha 1^st verse… Tha beat makes it sound more like it’s for tha club, so it’s like a club vs. real-life vibe, here… “If you my nigga, why tha fuck you neva post my shit!” Oh, I feel that line! Produced and had two tracks where dudes rapped on, as well as made music videos to. Not once did I get a retag, post, etc.; no luv shown! Maybe, next time, they should pay me instead of me payin’ them? Definitely feel dat line; tha struggle’s real! Continuin’ on, tha rest of this aight; feelin’ tha aggression…! My Rating: 3.7

>>> Sounds good, on tha hook; good lil’ “gangsta”-soundin’ hook… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s str8… Tha 2^nd dude str8, too; a str8 lil’ quick track, here… My Rating: 3.6

12. 225 Slugga “Pop Off”

>>> Hook sounds nice and energetic; luv how it took tha 2^nd ½ of tha hook ta let tha energy rise! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and dude sound cool wit tha “dog” parts; throwback-soundin’ rap vibe that I would love! Keepin’ it movin’, dude got tha streetz on lock, here, but fuses tha club vibe very well, as well! Tha 2^nd verse sound str8, too. Why he gotta go an auto-tune route, at times, durin’ tha verse? Sounds like it got drowned in tha wrong medicine, smh! My Rating: 3.7

>>> Sounds like she focused fa tha clubz, here, on tha hook… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and she sounds str8; good shit, I’ll admit… Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2^nd verse, here, soundin’ pretty nice. Not really tha kinda shit I’d embrace too much but I’ll give her her props for me not bashin’ anythang about this track. My Rating: 3.7

½time: Mostly decent tracks, this time, with a coupla misses… A 3.3-rated CD, so far; let’s see how we continue…

>>> Not feelin’ this a-tuned voice, on tha hook & beat. Durin’ tha 1^st verse, it just sounds like random rappin’… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and I’m wonderin’ why I’m bein’ bothered…? Ugh, tha mumblin’!! My Rating: 1.1

15. Giovelli “Ex Pills”

Can we recover…? >>> A lil’ too sing-rap-y fa me, on tha hook. It sounds like they took notes from YoungBoy’s flow, smh. Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it sounds okay; nothin’ special; don’t even sound like it goes wit tha title? Odd that he says, “Be real,” so many times, before tha verse ends. It’s like, B-Real all about dem “pillz” but this ain’t on dat level… Tha 2^nd verse sounds like it’s startin’ off annoying; what tha hell wit tha noise sound at 2:06? It’s like their interest fell off fa tha rest of this track; really? My Rating: 1.6

>>> Looks like it’s startin’ ta become a struggle fa me to recover feelin’ this mixtape, right nah… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s more annoying vocals; beat just sounds like a regular-soundin’ beat? What happened to tha Louisiana sound I was used ta hearin’? No comment on tha 1^st verse, here; seems so long fa 3:16! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and I don’t have no comment, neither… “I’m in my bag like I’m some groceries;” ugh… Still 1:01 left? Why…? A 3^rd verse, here—3^rd!! No comment; just so much braggin’! “………walkin’ like Bambi…;” somethin’-somethin’… Like, whaaaaaaaaaaaat…?!? First, we got “groceries!” Now, we get “Bambi?!” My Rating: 1.2

Don’t forget that apostrophe in “Its!” >>> Glad “it’s” on a bounce level, here, at least…! An okay-soundin’ remix, here; rememba: I still gotta recover my interest fa this mixtape. Tha singin’ sounds okay; I’d rather that rap that repeats/slams in yo face fa dis bounce shit, tho. Not much after; ehh, guess we gotta move on…? My Rating: 2.9

That’s a funny name fa tha featured artist… >>> A lil’ betta than tha bounce remix I just heard; sounds good wit this hook. Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & I ain’t thank this Karter was a chick. Sounds like an okay verse; glad she on a club tip, gettin’ “ratchet wit it.” Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 2^nd verse, here & Cain soundin’ like he got tha world by tha ballz, here—I mean, club, not world… Sounds good, mainly; I’ll give it props… My Rating: 3.7

Furly on tha feature; let’s see if we get a bounced-up vibe? >>> Sounds like a good/hyped-up hook, here… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it cool from Furly; she keep shit on lock, despite it not bein’ a 100% bounce beat. I still like tha sounds goin’ on throughout tha verse; interestin’… Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha Beatking on tha 2^nd verse, comin’ through wit his club-type shit. “Drug you like Cardi B,” huh? Oh, “Cardi…” “I want some head like dreadlocks,” huh? Good shit…! Ugh, that word! “Boujee!” That “J”! I rather shmoke one than see it in “Boujee,” lol! My Rating: 3.8

I have Box’s # so I may have a chance? Next trip? Keepin’ it goin’ wit Box on tha 2^nd verse, comin’ through wit dat good shit; glad he holdin’ it down as a ‘70s baby in his ‘40s, almost a decade older than me! Gotta keep it movin’! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse from Fastgame and it sounds good; I’ll give it props, despite bein’ hit by tha “money!” Got Bezo on tha 2^nd verse and, of course, he reaches for tha “money” so fast…! Luv how he pulls success outta himself, all tha time. Glad he got that kinda success; glad he luv tha “Drip!” My Rating: 4.1

Overall: Wow, this was unda an hour? Either way, this might be tha weakest outta tha compilations I reviewed. There were no 4.6+’s and most of tha tracks didn’t really give me a good vibe. Shout out ta Box & Level for makin’ a stellar appearance! Couldn’t imagine what my #1 woulda been if it wasn’t for them! Either way, glad you appreciate my time; hope you appreciate all of it! Hope to review Vol. 2, one day & hopefully, on my next trip down, we’ll link up/I’ll make it down on a club night!

Been havin’ too many dayz at work and am in need of relaxing when I get off, so I haven’t had much of a chance to pop up and do some thangz… But, despite a really hectic day at work (had to babysit and be tha mother to, like, every-fuckin’-one!!), I just so happen to have tha opportunity to review! Sponsored by Forever Young Entertainment (F.Y.N.I.C.), here goes my review for YB Dedication Of Honor, produced by $hop With Ken! I have to point out that, what an unlucky day to release a CD! Just looked on LiveMixtapes and it says it came out May 10, 2015; damn! That was tha day my brother died! Worst day!! Aside from that, I wish I was fulla dat shit right now, especially with this stressful day! However, Pennsylvania sucks, iz fulla unpromising people and I won’t be able to holla at tha plug till I prolly go to NY, but at least it’s in a few dayz! Start Time: 6:57 PM | End Time: 7:48 PM

>>> Sounds nice with tha beginning/hook and you reppin’ “Baton Rouge, Louisiana;” great production fa tha sizzouth! Comin’ through on tha 1^st verse pretty nicely with tha consistent, F.Y.N.I.C.-type rhymes! Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 2^nd verse and it sounds pretty consistent, as well! Just gotta luv tha quality and how consistent you keep it with deliverin’ street rhymes from dat Boot! My Rating: 4.5

Almost thought that was you on tha feature and I even accidentally wrote your name on tha feature, at first! >>> More nice, quality production here… Hearin’ tha hook from you and it’s pretty nice; keep firin’ at ‘em! A nice 1^st verse, here, but blah, blah, blah-like with tha “bitch”-related shit. It’s like, less shit about “fuckin’ a bitch” from you sounds great. Either way, that’s way betta than that “money, money, money” bullshit err-body be on! Thank God we’re two songs in, so far, and not one “money” bullshit line! Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 2^nd verse, here, from this KB dude and he sounds great, just like how you come through wit it! Diggin’ his dark, street-soundin’ shit he providin’! My Rating: 4.3

Likin’ tha title; hope it pays off! >>> Really hot beat intro, despite bein’ very influenced by DJ Mustard (e.g., “Left, Right” by YG)… Wow, this really sounds like that song and “Thinkin’ With My Dick” (Kevin Gates & Juicy J) on tha hook, but it’s original production from Ken! Really diggin’ tha hook and this sounds catchy, just like a great 1^st single from this CD! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse from you and it’s consistent with how you do it on tha beat! I can tolerate this “ass-shakin’” anthem and even tha money shit on tha hook! Damn @ tha 2^nd verse; you don’t stop!! Just really diggin’ this anthem!! Nice job wit that bridge, or 3^rd verse—whateva you wanna call it! Got a lot ta offer, here! And, nice beat outro ta end it off! Uh, damn, 45 seconds of silence at tha end? Random… At least it’s shorter, I guess, lol? Could possibly be somethin’ I consider for an add on my playlist? I’ono… We’ll see what mood I’m in, despite me fallin’ off from Louisiana, lately… My Rating: 4.8

Le’hear it! >>> Much slower and laidback from tha last song… Hearin’ tha beat and it’s real nice; sounds like somethin’ from tha ‘90s that you’d get fulla dat shit to! Oh, weed, can you just appear, already?! Sounds like between tha nice hook and tha verses, everything blends consistently fa tha hood… Odd that I’m playin’ Cruis’n USA fa Nintendo 64 on my computer while reviewin’ this ‘cause it kinda reminds me of that with this beat, but also, feels like I could play some Tony Hawk Pro Skater! Ahh, Wednesday’s tha flashback day, lol? My Rating: 4.3

>>> Really diggin’ tha Louisiana sound on tha beat, here! Definitely sounds like that great, intense style! Hearin’ tha hook and wow, looks like tha female songs are catchin’ on tha most fa me on this CD, despite my criticism, earlier? Catchy hook ova this beat! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and I just dig how you consistently rap ova tha beat, as always! Wow @ only one verse; great fa quickly providin’ your consistency on tha tracks! My Rating: 4.4

06. “Get It How You Live” feat. T.Y. (of Jetlife) & Vintage Rippah

>>> Beat’s pretty nice, here, and you sound pretty nice on tha 1^st verse… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s kinda a turn-off with this voice-effect shit… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse from this Jet Life general and it sounds like I’m likin’ this beat much betta, now; diggin’ tha eerie sounds! As for tha verse, it ain’t too bad… Almost expected a terrible 3^rd verse when I heard a screech before tha verse, but it’s not as bad as I expected… Well, maybe, at 3:13, it sounds gay with tha voice-effect shit… Hmm, ‘cause of so much voice shit, this gon have to fail to get at least a 4.0 rating from me. I almost let it slide, but tha 3^rd verse irritated me, a lil’. Excellent bass part at tha end! Can just picture my brain goin’ loco while fulla a geeb!! My Rating: 3.7

>>> This time, with this slow tempo, I’m not anticipatin’ tha “bad bitch” dedication, here… Tha 1^st verse’s aight; not bad… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s okay, but I’m feelin’ kinda jealous and shit, here, with tha content. Like, this one of those kinda songs that has me like, “Does everyone have ta have a ‘bad bitch’?” Bad enough that this one girl that I consider a girlfriend told me this morning that she “hung out till 4:00 AM with one of [her] friends…” Like, what?!? I been tryna hang out witchu fa months, even when I helped her out and my birthday passed! When I’m off, she ain’t wanna hang out! She go in at 8 when I’m off; 7 when she hang out till 4 AM? Gay!! Venomous girlz, ya know?! But, tha rest of this was ehh…; it was tolerable fa me… My Rating: 3.7

08. “Whip It Like Mitch”
>>> Beat sounds like a Migos-like tempo with how those beats kick… Kinda sounds like a random song on tha 1^st verse… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s really random fa me; of course, a “tryna get rich” reference… And, only one verse here. For tha feedback I provided, looks like this iz just decent. My Rating: 3.2

½time: Started off excellent and then, kinda got decent. Either way, definitely feelin’ these beats, tracks and content for tha most part! Gotta luv when you be droppin’ dat music wit Ken, YB! Current CD rating’s at a 4.1! Let’s keep it goin’!

Speakin’ of “plug”—oh, you’re gettin’ me jealous!! Diggin’ tha whole “traffic in front of my house” shit on tha hook! Sounds real great ta hear, here; anticipation’s rising!! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s fast rhymin’ with that great, drug-type shit!! Really feelin’ that 2^nd verse; must be Dillon? Soundin’ like an excellent joint, altogether! Short and sweet fa three minutes!! My Rating: 4.6

Ooh @ tha feature! >>> Nice beat with a 225, street-type vibe! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and that Ken? Surprise appearance on tha 1^st verse; feelin’ how he comin’ through wit dat street shit! Nice lil’ hook from you, too, with how someone gon die “next!” However, every death’ll be like, “Whateva,” and, “Okay,” only ‘cause nothin’ will compare to me losin’ my brother two months ago! Shit’s too real; can’t compare!! As far as tha 2^nd verse goes, it sounded pretty consistent! Ken did his thang on tha 1^st verse and you continued right behind him! My Rating: 4.4

It’s “Tha,” like my name, according to tha “The” on tha back cover! >>> On a soul tip, as far as tha sample ta keep it “lowkey,” here… Lots of rappin’ from you on tha 1^st verse, here; kinda random, but kinda tight… Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds pretty nice; I’m diggin’ that repetitive title part. Now, tha 2^nd verse from Mr. Que, here, comin’ through wit fast rhymes, as well; less random and still tight… My Rating: 4.0

I have to just make it clear, right now! If it’s one thing I love about ya, it’s this:

Gotta luv when you be shittin’ outta nowhere! You got such a great, street look to you, but when it’s time ta hit that toilet, you already know how ta express it! Gotta luv it!! >>> A DJ in tha beginning? Long lil’ angry skit in tha beginning… Ehh, really random but here comes tha song… Hearin’ tha beat and it starts off pretty nice and intense. Once again, on dat quality tip, as far as tha 225 sound goes! Hearin’ tha beginning from you and it gives me that nice, consistent vibe that you always bring to tha table, between your voice and tha beat! Tha hook sounds pretty nice, here; feelin’ it, of course! And, keepin’ it goin’ with tha 2^nd verse, here, and this other Kenn dude doin’ a nice job, here! Feelin’ his urban style fa tha 225 and tha Louisiana hoodz beyond, lol! My Rating: 4.1

15. “Jungle” feat. Nunu James & Lahpopa

>>> Interesting beat and a really-catchy hook with whoeva’s on tha hook! Really luvin’ tha title part “wit de jun-gle!!” Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s pretty nice; flow sounds a lil’ laidback but tha vibe’s still pure! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and this sounds pretty nice ta flow through; nothin’ much ta say… As I continue ta hear this hook, it makes me wish this was somethin’ bigger than just an undaground secret!! Keepin’ it goin’ with tha 3^rd verse, here, and it’s still nice… Despite tha really-catchy hook, tha verses were kinda plain with tha voices and deliveries. But, it was still nice ta hear! My Rating: 4.5

Almost thought it was tha Five Knives song fa a sec. (same title)… >>> Nice beat start and overall, a dope beat fa tha streetz, here! Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse and these rhymes are consistent! Definitely diggin’ you and your consistent-ass! Just luv all these rhymes; you really know what you’re doin’ with tha rappin’, here! So consistent, and this tha longest joint on this disc, too (5:16)! Hearin’ tha hook and it’s nice; you got a voice that expresses shit in an excellent way! Tha 2^nd verse’s soundin’ nice, too, but tha 1^st verse was a lil’ betta, at times, with tha flow and lyrics… And, endin’ with a bomb! Fa over five minutes, I’m surprised this was only two verses, lol… My Rating: 4.2

Overall: Glad I finally got tha time ta review this and it turned out to be a great CD! Nice job, YB, and tha whole F.Y.N.I.C. click! Keep dat consistent Ken production comin’ along, dat consistent streetstyle of rhymes comin’ along, and dat consistent shittin’-on-‘em style comin’ along, lol!
