Review #1,222: Paypa Boyz "Get'n Money 2.0 (Hosted by Big Cheese The Outlaw)"

Reviewed on 11.04.2012 (Review #1,222)

My next review iz Cash’n Out Entertainment’s Paypa Boyz Get'n Money 2.0 (Hosted by Big Cheese The Outlaw); not a fan of tha title, so we’ll see what happens. I predict boring content over good beats? Start Time: 7:15 PM | End Time: 7:33 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

© 2012 CD Review (Review #1,222) reviewed on 11.04.2012 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “2 Hot”
>>> Sounds like y’all feelin’ hype on this; I can feel this hyped-up shit. My Rating: 4.2

02. “We The Shit”
>>> Doesn’t sound like much’s goin’ on wit tha beat, but I’m likin’ tha rappin’ for some reason… My Rating: 4.1

03. “On Da Cruv” Feat. Malachi & Cordd
What’s a “Cruv”? >>> Beat’s betta, this time; definitely likin’ tha beat and tha energy y’all bringin’ to tha table, wit this car-type joint! Love how Malachi blends in wit tha hook wit y’all; “sippin’!!” Finally, a great-soundin’ drinkin’ song, lol! Great job wit this collaboration; all y’all don’t stop, and it’s definitely worth tha 4:43 on tha length!! My Rating: 4.5

04. “Get-N-Money” Feat. Roscoe & Cordd
Bleh @ tha title… >>> Doesn’t sound too bad; good energy and an attitude, so that’s a plus. Either way, can’t take a “get money”-type joint after last year’s mess wit a title like that, and what someone did to me wit that kinda title! Broke-ass asshole! Lots of verses and different peeps ta offer a great collaboration! My Rating: 3.8

05. “Gone Act” (Bottom Boy Bam)
>>> Likin’ tha “purple that blow strong” beginning; nice solo! Didn’t expect tha fast rappin’, but I can dig this… My Rating: 4.3

06. “Throwing Ones”
Yucky title, again! >>> Tha hook’s a lil’ catchy, but it’s anotha song that’s not really for me. However, I think this iz catchier than tha “Get-N-Money” song. My Rating: 3.9

07. “Hot Tamali” Feat. Young Jack
>>> Teamin’ up wit Heisman for tha beat (heard tha somewhat-yucky beat tag). Sounds like a catchy song wit this title; great for tha 225! Nice collaboration, even though it sounds like Lil’ Boosie too much… My Rating: 4.2

08. “All On Me”
>>> Sounds a lil’ like Young Kidd Kidd’s “On Dem Tee Tees” wit tha beat, a lil’… For a “hoes all on me”-type joint, I have to say that this iz catchy; y’all are defeatin’ my low expectations! Great club song, here! My Rating: 4.1

½time: Surprisingly, this iz off to a great start! A 4.1-rated CD, currently; that’s what’s up!

09. “I See Haterz” Feat. Feddy Kid & Mech
>>> Likin’ tha beat y’all rappin’ off of; y’all got a good ear for some energy and 225-type jointz! Lyrics are ehh, but tha song’s catchy. Features kinda made this song sound worse than it was; not really feelin’ tha features too much wit their typical-soundin’ shit. My Rating: 3.6

10. “Money Mission” Feat. Lil’ App
Boo…… >>> A shorter length, and it’s got a fast rap goin’ on wit tha 1st verse… Tha hook’s a lil’ catchy, but you know I don’t fuck wit a song like this! Tha 2nd verse iz kinda boring; no need to be obsessed wit “money!” My Rating: 2.6

11. “From The Hood” (Jay Boi)
>>> Likin’ tha beat; Jay Boi sounds good on this, but I wish there was more energy in tha delivery! My Rating: 3.9

12. “Back Against Wall” Feat. Cordd
No “the” in tha title? >>> Weird wit tha no “da” or whateva, but this sounds catchy wit tha scary-soundin’ notes that are held on tha hook; a lil’ catchy, overall… BTW, why does almost every song have ta be, like, at least four minutes long? Not too bad wit tha verses, overall; I think tha hook holds it down, here. My Rating: 3.8

13. “Knockin’ Doors Down” Feat. Foxx
>>> Yuck @ havin’ a noticeable jacked beat… There’s really nothin’ too catchy wit this, and Foxx sounds good; almost sounds like an old verse, hence this originally bein’ an ‘06/’07 song… Foxx ain’t too bad, but it’s way too long!! My Rating: 3.3

14. “Moving In The Fast Lane” (C-Love)
>>> Ehh, this iz okay; I like tha hook a lil’ bit… My Rating: 3.7

15. “C.O.E./D.C.F.” Feat. Lil’ J, Puppy, Delwin
*Throws up before hearing* >>> Once I hear copying of tha “Nu$$ie” scream, I feel like just skippin’; nothin’ really jumpin’ off on tha hook fa me… Very boring and typical lyrics about “money;” what else iz new, smh? Not really fa me; D.C.F. died back in ’09; shouldn’t be continued in ’11, since I thought everyone else went their own ways? My Rating: 2.4

16. “Paypa Boy”
>>> “Guss” beat? Didn’t realize tha yucky title at first; an okay hook, but once I hear “if you ain’t gettin’ money” on tha 1st verse, I feel like this iz gonna sound boring… Can’t really take tha lyrics, but tha song itself ain’t too bad… Good outro from Big Cheese; what up, my boy? Shout out ta that “Bump Beezy” dude “doin’ most of tha production!” My Rating: 3.2

Overall: Better than I expected, even though tha 1st ½ was betta fa me…

01. Big Cheese (Da Outlaw) Drop
Gotta hear it! >>> Good energy; you know what it iz! Great job wit tha definition! My Rating: N/A

02. “Otha Shit”
Let’s start it off wit… >>> A Supa intro? Thought he was gonna be featured but sounds good wit this classic-soundin’ beat! Tha hook sounds pretty nice, too; great job wit tha Greg life, Greg, lol! Nice job wit what you’re bringin’ to tha 1st verse; nothin’ but dat tight “shit” fa tha streetz at all times! Tha 2nd verse sounds great, too; gotta feel tha energy you’re bringin’ to tha voice and rhymes!! Almost sounds like tha Beezy Bird “bow” in tha background, but it sounds like an “ow,” lol. Uh oh, “BiPolar” Greg on tha 3rd verse! Great job… Also, nice job wit Supa on tha outro, too! ROFL @ tha cold-ass ending! My Rating: 4.4

03. “No Game Show” Feat. Jab & Piz Corleone
Let’s hear what’s goin’ on wit this anti-“game show”, lol! >>> Ooh, really likin’ tha beat, here; reminds me of tha old-soundin’ Down Bad shit!! Really likin’ tha shit goin’ on wit tha 1st verse, Greg; great way of bein’ “married” to “[your] pistol!” Ooh, “game show”s are in tha 1st ½ of tha hook and really, “it ain’t a game” ta describe tha 2nd ½ of tha hook; definitely catchy as fuck, here!! Tha 2nd verse iz soundin’ off to a great start wit Jab on it! I like all tha “dawg” parts; definitely holdin’ it down, Jab! Piz sounds pretty good on tha 3rd verse; definitely feelin’ tha vibe, here, wit all this hyped-upness! Ooh, 1:47 left? Long outro comin’ up? Outro starts at 1:25; let’s see what’s goin’ on… Just hearin’ tha beat, currently… Nice job wit this beat outro! I could talk on this durin’ my radio show! My Rating: 4.8

04. “In My Own Zone”
Whoo!! You already know how I feel about this E.P.-produced track! Go, Greg! Go, Greg! Go, Greg! My Current Rating: 4.6

05. “Tap Out” Feat. Nip Cannon & Mel 985
Let’s see what’s good wit dis! >>> Sounds like a good, neutral-speed club song; nice hook. Good job wit tha first—or should I say, ffffffiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrsssssssstttttt verse, drunk style, lol. Tha 2nd verse iz soundin’ like it’s off to a good start wit Nip on it; “somebody catch [him],” lol. I like how this 3rd verse iz soundin’ (Mel?); good “rollin’” and all dat shit, lol! Tha hook almost sounds like Piz Corleone! Oh wait, Mel’s on tha 4th verse; thumbs up ta Nip (I guess?) on tha 3rd verse, though! I like tha family vibe, here; lol @ all tha drinks. I saw a flyer for somethin’ recently and it said $50 for a bottle of somethin’; kinda WTF for me? My Rating: 4.4

06. “Macked Out Party” Feat. Supa
Just you? >>> LOL @ tha beginning wit Supa; sounds like somethin’ anticipatin’, includin’ this King Arthur beat/sounds! Almost thought it was a familiar song but it iz featurin’ Supa on tha hook, here! LOL @ tha no source? Feelin’ what you bringin’ on tha 1st verse, Greg; thumbs up fa your energy, once again! Definitely a great anthem fa tha “Macked Out” Music clique! LOL @ you on tha 2nd verse: “Is You Wet Yet Wednesdays;” really? Damn, this breezed by pretty quick; nice energy and what you contributed, here!! My Rating: 4.6

07. “Seek & Destroy” Feat. Johnny Hustle
Looks pretty serious! >>> Likin’ tha intro; thought it was gonna be an R&B joint, lol. Pure hook; really feelin’ tha lyrics in tha hook!! Definitely a title like this goes a long way, ya dig? Also, feelin’ your seriousness on tha 1st verse, too! Ooh, “for them brick throwaz” on tha 2nd verse; definitely feelin’ everything you bringin’, he—“out tha window,” lol! J-Hustle’s spittin’ some pretty catchy shit on tha 3rd verse; thumbs up fa tha consistency in tha flow, too! My Rating: 4.6

08. “Problem Child”
What do we got, here? >>> Ooh, a King Arthur beat dat sounds like tha Early 2000s, a lil’! Gangsta lyrics comin’ from you, here; definitely feelin’ ‘em, of course! LOL @ tha “pull yo pants up” and “why you smokin’ cigarettes” part; I can’t picture y’all “smokin’ cigarettes” ‘cause basically, it’s weed! “Cigarettes” seem gay/typical; can’t stand my mom buyin’ a pack every day or two! Tha hook sounds pretty nice; good shit you bringin’, too! All these problems can come into play nicely, thanx ta this song! My Rating: 4.4

09. “Bird Call” Feat. Pounds
LOL, this made it! Thought it was one of tha most-surprising-soundin’ collaborations, but then again, y’all are cousinz, lol. As reviewed on Pounds’s two mixtapes, this iz definitely nice, overall, wit a great beat and great contributions from tha both of y’all! My Current Rating: 4.4

½time: Currently, this iz a pretty serious CD, Greg!! Definitely glad you finally put it out, ya dig?! You’re standin’ at 4.5 for tha CD rating, wit a possible chance at five stars!!!!!

10. “Gimme Wut I Want” Feat. Jab & Supa
Lookin’ forward ta dis! LOL, Supa finally sourced? >>> Likin’ this; catchy hook, of course! You can’t resist somethin’ like this ‘cause it’s tha shiiiit, lol! Sounds like you afta tha sex on tha 1st verse; good shit, especially wit how you keep your voice rollin’ and rollin’ and rollin’ and rollin’ and rollin’ and rollin’ wit consistency and entertainment, ya dig? Jab on dat hook; very catchy wit tha voice and how he keeps sayin’ tha title!! LOL, Supa on tha 2nd verse, wit a lil’ bit of Juvenile in tha flow; definitely feelin’ everything goin’ on here, since it’s fulla catchiness!! Not too bad wit Jab on tha 3rd verse, here; tha rhymes I mainly like are tha “Macked Out”-type/referred rhymes. My Rating: 4.5

11. “Bless My Enemies” Feat. Mel 985 & Piz Corleone
This looks like somethin’ cool… >>> Actually, real cool wit tha beat start!! Do I hear some Mel in tha beginning wit tha title? Damn, this iz gonna be somethin’ catchy! Here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some real rhymes dat go great wit this kinda beat, ya dig? Tha way Mel says, “that’s my enemies,” sounds like some song in tha past wit tha voice? Must be a great rendition goin’ on, here! Speakin’ of Mel, here he iz on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some catchy, real-type rhymes! “It’s like, some mouse in tha house … tryna kill it;” exactly what my mom has been doin’ tha past few dayz, lol! ROFL, really cold ending? I guess that’s Piz on tha hook? LOL, I’m confused, now! My Rating: 4.5

12. “I Need Dat” Feat. Supa
Let’s hear dis! >>> Ooh, hot beat start; definitely luvin’ what y’all bringin’ to tha table wit these tracks!!! Tha hook sounds pretty catchy; definitely luvin’ what you bringin’, here, wit all these kinds of money-related things, lol! Also, I’m on #12 and I didn’t even hear a reference ta “So Whopped”, currently; lol, I remember hearin’ it in, like, every song in tha past! LOL @ what you bringin’ to tha 2nd verse; demandin’ at its finest!! Hope I get ta see some $ from you, soon, when it comes ta doin’ some videos and shit! LOL @ tha start ta tha 3rd verse wit Supa… Hope I can get a few $$$ before all this “head” and “pussy;” that’s a bet! ROFL, anotha cold-ass ending! My Rating: 4.5

13. “Money My Motivator” Feat. Jab & Mel 985
LOL, sequel? >>> Nice dialect in tha beginning… Nice job wit tha beat, of course; like my tracks A+! Also, this iz a good “money” song, unlike most bullshit songs out there. Tha 2nd verse iz pretty good, too; was wondering how long this was wit tha two verses from you, but there’s room… Here’s tha 3rd verse (Jab?), comin’ through wit some good shit… Maybe this iz Jab on tha 4th verse? I’m only goin’ by tha order… Not too crazy about what’s goin’ on wit this verse… ROFL, cold-ass ending, again! My Rating: 4.2

14. “Grind, Hustle” Feat. J-Von & Drako
Looks like somethin’ gon jump off wit this one! >>> Definitely a good vibe; I feel like it’s tha good times of Louisiana (from 2008 and before)! J-Von on tha 1st verse? Comin’ through wit some tightness, here! Ooh, beat sounds are at their finest at 1:02!! Here you are on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit good shit, too, “hustle” at full time! Uh oh, cold…—up, a fade-out ending, lol! My Rating: 4.5

15. “I’m On” Feat. Nip & Mel 985
Let’s see what we got… >>> Smooth start wit kick-ass beat sounds, once again! Nice job wit tha 1st verse; not bad… Tha hook sounds pretty catchy, too; must be Nip, here? I hear tha Mel 985 voice on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit… club shit? Here you are on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit some shit fa tha “hoes,” here, lol. LOL, just ended like it was nothin’! My Rating: 4.3

16. “Bringin’ My Roll Down” Feat. Johnny Hustle & Cage (Down Bad)
LOL, was a radio exclusive for a while (as a DNA track). Now, lemme finally review it! >>> Always luved tha kick-ass beat goin’ on, here; very serious!! Also, you on tha hook iz a monster, too!! You’re really kickin’ ass on tha 1st verse! “Like Mario wit his mushroom, power up!” Good shit from Hustle on tha 2nd verse; he got a focused mentality when it comes ta any in-person-type shit, ya dig? Hope I meet everyone soon! Just findin’ a male figure ta go wit ‘cause most males where I’m at suck fuckin’ ass!!! Here’s Cage wit his entertainin’-ass on tha 3rd verse; definitely tha shit you’d wanna hear wit his words!! They keep goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’, lol!! Quick ending, here, lol. My Current Rating: 4.7

17. “So Stupid” Feat. Drako, Big World & Supa
“More”? >>> What tha hell was that beat tag in tha beginning and why was it longer than two seconds/a couple sentences? Thought this was gonna be tha just “Stupid” as tha title song, but it’s a new song! Tha beat sounds pretty serious, here; definitely feelin’ it! Hook’s nice, as well as what’s goin’ on wit this 1st verse (must be Drako ‘cause I can’t believe of “More” bein’ anyone, smh)! Keep this catchy shit up, ya dig? Well, Supa’s on tha hook; why no room? LOL, “Bringin’ My Roll Down” had a much-bigger ID… This iz you on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit tha intoxicated-type verse, lol! LOL, here’s Big World on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through “stoned” as a ma’fucka, lol? Gotta luv it! He’s someone I’m dyin’ ta meet, ya dig? Neva really kicked it—seriously—wit dread-heads dat are huge, lol! Here’s tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse: Supa, comin’ through wit his “M.O.M.”-type shit, as always! Well, I guess tha correct ID iz “Feat. Drako, Big World & Supa” instead of “& More” (yea, like that was hard, smh)! ROFL @ tha ending wit, “free Boosie;” random, Supa, lol! My Rating: 4.5

18. “So Whopped” Feat. Supa & Jack (Down Bad)
LOL? My Current Rating: 4.3

19. “Thuggin’ Is Da Life” Feat. T.C.
What this gon be like for an ending song? >>> Dunno why, but it gives me a Young Bleed/Frieze Off Da Curb CD feel wit this vibe! Thumbs up ta dat T.C. dude on tha hook! Really feelin’ his—oh, iz that you, lol? This must be from tha Early 2000s or somethin’ ‘cause it sounds so old? Interestin’, though, especially wit what this song iz, overall! Or, iz this T.C. on tha 2nd verse? Neva mind, I think this him on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse? LOL @ my confusion! But, you know this shit’s pretty nice, old style! My Rating: 4.4

Overall: A+, Greg; you know what it iz!! You always come through wit tha consistency and type of shit dat’s pure!! Actually, tha whole Macked Out Music clique seems ta be like dat, too! Gotta give y’all big shout outs, ya feel me? Keep up tha great, consistent work!!

Review #1,049: Dog Da Cutthroata "Druglife, Thuglife (Hosted by Big Cheez Da Outlaw)"

Reviewed on 8.15.2011 (Review #1,049)

Back in PA; let’s see if I can catch up wit these current reviewz before I make another attempt at gettin’ back in my marathon. I have to get adjusted to tha new desk in my room so we’ll see how comfortable I feel, too. Startin’ off today iz Dog Da Cutthroata “Druglife, Thuglife (Hosted by Big Cheez Da Outlaw). When I see “Milliyone Musik”, I sometimes think it’s R.I.P. for Dog Entertainment, but it’s there, although Milliyone Musik seems to overshadow it, for me. Start Time: 6:52 PM | End Time: 7:25 PM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

© 2011 CD Review (Review #1,049) reviewed on 8.15.2011 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Druglife, Thuglife”
>>> Who on tha track? Sounds like Supa talkin’… Anyway, good intro from Big Cheese the Outlaw… Anyway, whoever’s on tha beat did a nice job wit tha sounds, includin’ tha Egyptian feel. :tu Nice shit wit tha hook and how you’re handlin’ tha track, Dog. Enjoyin’ this, although it mainly sounds like you’re chasin’ after a dollar or “deal,” lol? My Rating: 4.2

02. “I Ain’t Ly’n”
LOL, likin’ tha “ly’n” look. >>> Sounds like a different, cool, interesting beat sound for you… This could be a good song for tha ladies; lol @ your voice fa these ladies… Tha hook sounds catchy wit tha “I ain’t ly’n” shit; funny how shit’s instant when it comes ta sex. My Rating: 4.2

03. “Feelin’ Myself” Feat. Foxx
>>> Lil’ Cal doin’ tha beat, here. This sounds a lil’ betta for me… Anotha repetitive hook wit just tha title, mainly, but it’s good ta hear Foxx. Your shit on tha 1st verse’s only decent for me; not really anything I need ta say… Foxx’s on tha 2nd verse and he’s definitely betta; deliverin’ a lil’ catchier flow, here, as well as tha okay lyrics, too. I guess I like tha repetitive hook betta? My Rating: 4.3

04. “One At A Time” Feat. Lil’ Cal
Glad he’s on tha feature… >>> This iz betta for me; gotta luv when Lil’ Cal ain’t just on tha beat but on tha feature, too! He doin’ tha damn thang on tha hook wit this kick-ass beat, right chea! Ooh, he on tha 1st verse, too, comin’ through wit dat energetic-type flow! :tu You’re not that bad, either, on tha 2nd verse; I like this shit betta, includin’ tha catchiness brought to tha table! My Rating: 4.5

05. “Boss Bitch”
>>> I like how these songs are just about three minutes long; it’s good enough… This sounds a lil’ catchy wit tha Southern-styled beat, as well as this “boss bitch” topic. My Rating: 4.2

06. “Intoxicated (Remix)” Feat. Foxx
Whoo! Still shinin’ hard! My Current Rating: 4.7

07. “I’m Dat Nigga”
>>> New beat tag in tha beginning? Sounded like [someone] “Mack”? Sounds like a song wit some energy; likin’ this hook and tha combo of tha beat wit your two cents, too! Curious question: “Got hoes by tha busload”? How dat happen? Don’t think I eva saw a “hoe” in my life, yet; I mainly see gurls? Anyway, you keepin’ dis shit goin’ wit some catchy, non-stop flowin’! I like tha “too hot… fryin’” part; you know what it iz. My Rating: 4.4

08. Big Cheez Da Outlaw (Skit)
Was just thinkin’ ‘bout when he gon appear on here again and here he iz! >>> Sounds good; was wonderin’ where tha “lickmedry.com” came from, lol! My Rating: N/A

09. “Put Da Dick Down”
Original version? Still likin’ it betta than tha original version, courtesy of Lil’ Cal on tha beat! My Current Rating: 4.5

½time: A 4.4-rated CD, currently; seems like all these tight-soundin’ songs get lucky ‘cause of how great you be holdin’ these tracks down!

10. “They Say” Feat. Ms. Intoxicated
She’s a “Ms.”, not a “Mrs.”, wit how her name’s said… >>> Thought it was gonna be kinda wack wit tha slow start but it’s decent, so far. I like that there’s Southern elements in tha beat, at least. Tha hook ain’t too bad wit Ms. Intoxicated on it although she can sound a lil’ betta wit her voice, here… Your rhymes ain’t dat bad, although if it’s an anti-hater song, shouldn’t it be a lil’ more energetic than this softer-soundin’ shit? Not too bad, overall… My Rating: 3.6

11. “Money & Fame”
Glad I don’t look at these two things; I only look for an amount of people to recognize me… without “fame”! >>> Beat aight; nothin’ much ta say, although this goes wit tha previous song wit a ‘not-havin’-much’ theme…; at least this iz short. My Rating: 3.8

12. “Pussy & Pills” Feat. Foxx & Lil’ Cal
Anotha Foxx collab? At least Lil’ Cal’s on here, too. >>> Sounds like a familiar song but it’s pretty hilarious wit this title and kick-ass beat! You’re on tha 1st verse? Almost sounds a lil’ different, in a good way; likin’ tha shit, here. Foxx’s on tha 2nd verse; does this sound old wit tha way everyone’s voices sound? Not bad, although I thought I’d hear more hyperness from him… Now, Lil’ Cal’s soundin’ a lil’ more energetic, here… also soundin’ younger, lol. This iz some nice shit, here… My Rating: 4.5

13. “Cumin’ Thru” Feat. Goozie Goo
LOL @ tha “cumin’” spelling… Kinda goes wit tha sperm bank I saw in Parasite Eve when I was playin’ tha game wit my lil’ brother, lol. I kept sayin’, “I can’t say what it iz right now,” lol… >>> This iz a hot beat; glad I’m gettin’ ta really hear Goozie Goo now! Good shit on tha hook, non-“cum” style, lol! Tha 1st verse sounds good and tha 2nd verse iz pretty nice, too; they both go together, especially since tha both of y’all voices sound similar… Then again, I think that’s you on both tha 1st and 2nd verse, while Goozie Goo’s on tha hook; good shit… My Rating: 4.4

14. “Hold It Down” Feat. R Jizzle
>>> Sounds stale in tha beginning…; why does everyone need a singer on their CDs? Not really feelin’ how they sound on tha hook; could be a lil’ betta wit understandin’ their voice a lil’… Tha song/content ain’t really for me; not really gonna comment on this… Damn, really stale ending wit tha beat and singin’? :confused My Rating: 2.5

15. “Killin’ Me” Feat. Goozie Goo
Spelled correctly on tha mp3 info/DatPiff tracklisting but incorrect on tha back cover (as “killen”)? I don’t get everyone and their thinkin’ of “en” words; there’s barely any! >>> Sounds like anotha soft song dat ain’t really for me…; where’s tha Young Hits productions? Tha last time you talked to me, which was sometime last year, you were wit Young Hits, callin’ from his phone. Not much ta say about tha rappin’ and hook; this sounds a lil’ mainstream for me… My Rating: 3.1

16. “No Love”
>>> Damn, not a sample… :td After about 27 seconds, tha actual song kicked in… wit a sample in tha background, smh. Once again, another song not really for me, although this iz right in-between #14 & 15 for me. A lil’ too soft wit a gangsta-soundin’ voice ta go wit tha mix, lol? Plus, not really into tha length bein’ a minute longer than typical songs on here… My Rating: 2.8

17. “We In Here” Feat. Lil’ Cal
Normal? >>> Of course! Thought this sounded familiar, too! LOL, this iz about “Foxx” and “Milliyone” Musik, lol? Not bad wit tha hook from Lil’ Cal; guess life ends and everyone stops for Foxx and Milliyone Musik, lol? You sound a lil’ catchy wit how you come through wit tha cockiness for those lookin’ at you… My Rating: 4.1

18. “Do Yo Shit”
Endin’ it wit… >>> “Young Hawk” was his name? LOL @ havin’ a beat tag for someone wit only one beat, so far! I like your mumbled-soundin’ intros, lol; they always sound entertainin’ fa me, ya dig? Sounds good wit this beat; good lil’ street-soundin’ song, here. Tha hook sounds pretty catchy wit this hook; definitely some true-soundin’ “shit,” here! Glad you keepin’ it gangsta on this track, right chea! My Rating: 4.4

Overall: Speakin’ of “Druglife, Thuglife”, once I saw tha title and tha front cover, it kinda looks like drugs are growin’ on your shoes, lol? I almost thought it was that for a second when I see tha front cover from far away, lol! Anyway, nice job wit anotha great-soundin’ CD! Your circle may be great when it’s small; I guess stayin’ this way means tha songs’ll still be good? What about Tech? Don’t see too many collaborations wit him anymore? Damn, I didn’t see tha production credits on tha bottom-left of tha back cover; lemme do tha honor:

Lil’ P.A.: Tracks 1 & 2
Lil’ Cal: Tracks 3, 4, 9, 10, 14 & 17
Modie: Tracks 7 & 11
Last Man: Track 6

Review #793: Purp Gang "Millions'n Da Making (Dope Boyz Mixtape) Vol. 2 (Hosted by Big Cheese The Outlaw)"

Reviewed on 12.29.2010 (Review #793)

Wit this next review I have, Purp Gang “Millions’n Da Making (Dope Boyz Mixtape) Vol. 2 (Hosted by Big Cheese The Outlaw), I don’t have a tracklisting for. I think it’s ’10 ‘cause of a flyer bein’ uploaded this year? Then again, it could be between tha ’08 – ’10 timeline; I’m lookin’ forward ta hearin’ it!! Start Time: 2:25 PM | End Time: 2:53 PM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! 01.
>>> Glad Big Cheese The Outlaw’s hostin’ dis mixtape; he a fool wit it! Phunk Dawg beat? Sounds interestin’ even though this iz a lil’ on tha dancin’ tip. I’m not likin’ tha lyrics; they could’ve been betta fa a club song. What’s wit some of tha older dance moves? My Rating: 3.3

02.
>>> Okay, much betta wit tha beat here; production’s hot!! Feelin’ tha consistency goin’ on as well as “’bout ta lose it;” dumb shit!! Whoeva y’all are, glad y’all got original production on your beats! Feelin’ how y’all comin’ through on this beat! My Rating: 4.3

03.
>>> Sounds like some good, 225-type music once again; let’s hear it… I like tha content goin’ on here; strictly Southern quality to tha fullest! Ooh, “[gettin’] work” on tha hook; sounds pretty impressive here! My Rating: 4.1

04.
>>> I guess “Dopeboy Music” iz a producer’s beat tag? Tha same tag was on tha previous song. Anyway, this sounds like some hot, ‘90s-type Louisiana shit I would play on my radio show! ‘90s/Early ‘00s, ya dig?!? I’m feelin’ tha gangsta style goin’ on here in tha content; definite plus!! Tha “respect” shit in tha hook’s official; really feelin’ this! Tha one thing I like tha most iz dat this joint gives me dat ‘90s/Early ‘00s perspective! My Rating: 4.5

05.
>>> This an online instrumental? Sounds pretty hot! Were tha previous two online instrumentals ‘cause I dunno a “Dopeboy Music” dude in BR. Sounds good wit “feds snappin’ pictures;” interestin’ topic ova dis beat. “[Gettin’] live” on this hook, too; good shit… My Rating: 4.0

06.
>>> Not sure of tha beat tag but it’s pretty anticipatin’ once tha beat started! Iz dat Big Cheese on tha beginning? I feel too anticipated, lol!! Ooh, tha hook’s pretty energetic; good shit! How can they not “like [y’all]”? I made a commercial fa someone and y’all were in it. I didn’t even know who y’all were and I featured y’all, ya dig? Tha beat sounds pretty hot once tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse comes in; definite plus here!! I feel hypnotized inta tha 225 world of Purp Gang, right now, lol! My Rating: 4.4

07.
>>> Sounds tight wit tha acapella start. Sounds like anotha “dancin’” song; not too bad. Even though tha previous one had better production, we’ll see how dis pulls off… I like tha content betta; it’s a battle, lol. Did it skip at 1:03/1:04, lol? Not bad… Tha hook iz tha only thing that’s on tha questionable level fa me. My Rating: 3.5

08.
>>> Anotha “Dopeboy Music” tag. This beat start sounds pretty laidback. ROFL @ tha Rich Boy sample in tha hook. Cliché start to tha 1st verse; not too excitin’… I dunno about tha amount of interest I have fa dis; only decent. My Rating: 3.6

½time: So far, a 4.0-rated CD; pretty good fa no tracklisting and hearin’ y’all for tha 1st time!

09.
>>> Sounds like tha tag from #6 and tha intro’s good, too. I like tha 225-street-related shit in tha hook; good topic. I like tha content goin’ on wit tha rappin’; keepin’ it 225 and on a gangsta tip! Glad y’all “take it there” when it comes ta “___ shit;” thumbs up ta havin’ people insert words, ya dig? My Rating: 4.0

10.
>>> I think tha previous producer’s producin’ dis track, which iz soundin’ real, real hot fa a start!! This has ta do wit “fluid” and boy, it sounds crazy!! Definitely entertainin’, crazy, and off-tha-chain (wit a dark theme)! You know tha verses are on ‘n’ poppin’; definite plus wit feelin’ good as fuck!! My Rating: 4.6

11.
>>> Sounds like a gross start. “Beezy on da beats”? Not sure if that’s an actual 225-producer. This sound iz not a 225-sound. Weird-soundin’ hook here…; why this sample shit? “It’s 2010;” thanx for tha confirmed info! I like tha “raindrops bangin’ on a nigga” part; interestin’ rhymes. Even though tha hook’s hella weird, it sounds good while this beat keeps goin’! My Rating: 3.8

12.
>>> Dat tight producer again iz on tha beat!! What up, Big Cheese? Supplyin’ tha intro to tha fullest!! Really likin’ dis beat and tha intro sounds anticipatin’!! I’m feelin’ tha rappin’ as well as tha 225-livin’ flow!! It’s all about havin’ 225 in your blood to tha fullest!! Definitely some good-ass pill music here, ya dig? Feelin’ all tha “on dem tee tees” shit in tha 2nd ½ of tha hook; crazy shit!! My Rating: 4.4

13.
>>> Sounds decent; good, random music here. Glad “[they] neva tell [y’all] no.” My Rating: 3.7

14.
>>> LOL, here come tha Vybe beats, lol! Backstabbin’ Entertainment in tha buildin’!! Glad y’all representin’ hard! This ain’t that bad of a beat ta deliver 225 perspectives. Y’all keep tha jointz pumpin’; good verses, ya dig? “Smokin’ on some purple shit;” you know what it iz! My Rating: 4.1

15.
>>> SMH, really jacked here wit tha beat; hope y’all make this “Every Girl” shit entertainin’! I dunno about tha “money” obsession; low interest, although tha hook sounds good wit tha flow. My Rating: 2.7

16.
>>> Shit yea, Big Cheese on tha intro; fuck wit him! He hostin’ dis shit pretty nicely! I feel anticipated each time he talks on tha tracks! Ooh, tha hook iz definitely A+!! From tha “huh bruh” to tha “roll my… weed” and err-thang else, this shit’s definitely on ‘n’ poppin’! Ain’t it pretty good fa a Vybe beat? Shit yea! Really luvin’ what y’all got here; keep tha consistency comin’ along! Who don’t like “tha Purp Gang”? Right? My Rating: 4.5

17. Outro
Tha final joint… >>> Tha tight producer’s here again and Big Cheese’s on tha intro here, too! Definite plus; good shit!! Iz it a whole outro? Shit yea; thumbs up ta these shout outs! “Big Fancy;” thumbs up! “O.N.E.;” good lookin’ out! “Beat Flippa;” keep ‘em comin’!! “Kibwe 3000;” thumbs up, again! Hope I get a shout out from Big Cheese one day! Hope I connect wit Big Cheese, eventually! My Rating: N/A

Overall: I thought y’all did a great job fa hearin’ y’all for tha 1st time! Keep doin’ tha damn thang!
