Fell asleep fa a while but now, I’m back up & ready fa more reviewz… S.A.W. (Soldierz At War) Soldierz At War iz my next one, released in 1999 on Millitary Recordz! S.A.W. (Soldierz At War) are M-One, Landmine, Mad? Dam!, Killah C, Kode Red, Mo Mike, Big Mon & Sho Nuff. This tape also features Big Ed, Chuck D, AK (from Do Or Die) & Newsense ‘The Girl’ from Psycho Drama…! Start Time: 4:09 PM | End Time: 5:03 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. >>> “Goin’ down like timberrrr!!,” ta kick off tha 1^st verse, ova this nicely-produced gangsta beat! Sounds great ta listen to, unlike tha previous CDs I just reviewed, where they were boring & sad… Hearin’ tha hook & it’s pretty dope fa da “soldiers,” or should that have a “Z”? Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it’s pretty gutta; definitely that dope shit…! Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse & it’s pretty gangsta, as well; gotta feel tha energy & power! A 4^th verse soundin’ like a chick, referencin’ tha “stealin’ of documents” & shit; deep! Got a 5^th verse goin’ on, here & dude fulla energy & bein’ focused, here; definitely nice! My Rating: 4.5

02. “Pac N Biggie”
>>> Sounds like a remake to a “Pac” beat, here; let’s see how y’all do… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it sounds nice & gutta; good shit… Feelin’ how y’all pay tribute ta him & “I Ain’t Mad At Cha”… Now, Biggie’s “One More Chance” gets sampled in tha beat… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it’s all about his “One More Chance”; pretty rough reminiscin’ tha “Pac N Biggie” deaths…! Back to tha Tupac beats fa tha 3^rd verse, here, soundin’ pretty good wit tha rhymes… My Rating: 4.1

03. “Enemy Lines”
>>> Sounds like a nice lil’ beat & what’s goin’ on wit tha hook; nice & focused! Tha scene of tha “lines” sound good wit tha 1^st verse, here, soundin’ nice & rough; dope…! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse from tha chick-soundin’ member & it sounds good; not much ta say… Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse & it’s pretty nice; good job, here… My Rating: 4.2

04. “Miss You”
>>> Sounds like a nice beat but I have a feelin’ it’ll be a sad track… It sounds like that on tha 1^st verse, here, but I’m feelin’ this sad beat… Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds nice fa a tribute & singin’; I’ll give it props… Now, tha 2^nd verse sounds more on tha sad tip… Tha “PlayStation” shit & wearin’ “tha same damn thang”’s pretty nice ta hear, too… Got tha 3^rd verse goin’ on, here, soundin’ sad, too… Not really tha kinda song I wanna hear; I mainly just like this beat… Got tha 4^th verse goin’ on, here & it’s pretty rough ta hear, once again… My Rating: 3.0

>>> Seven years before Fat Joe & Wayne made it “Rain,” huh? Sounds good wit tha hook & how tha 1^st verse’s goin’, here… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it ain’t bad, here… Got tha chick on tha 3^rd verse & it sounds good ta contribute… Tha 4^th verse iz here & they’re layin’ what verse # it iz, “down;” “dem foz!” Sounds good, once again; rhymes, rhymes, rhymes…! Got a 5^th verse goin’ on, here, to “strike like lightning & thunda;” dope! My Rating: 4.3

06. “Ridaz Nat’l Anthem”
>>> Beat sounds a lil’ upbeat fa somethin’ that should almost sound laidback? Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it cool fa tha N.O.; nice job… Hearin’ tha hook & it’s all about tha “ridaz,” as well as “ridin’ wit [ya] homie;” nice… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it sounds good, here; keepin’ it goin’, keepin’ it goin’… Here’s tha 3^rd verse, havin’ a “high” that they “hope will last;” nice & good verse… Tha 4^th verse sounds good wit tha flow & rhymes; I’m diggin’ tha rhymes… Yeah, I agree wit “not lookin’ at tha speed limit,” as far as a whip “not havin’ weed in it.” You know, when you’re sober, sometimes, you’re more in a panic than when you’re high. While you’re high, you’re nice & focused, to where you wanna obey at all times! Tha generation before ours don’t understand! My Rating: 4.2

½time: Wasn’t really inta tha sad song but other than that, y’all holdin’ this street shit down fa tha N.O., here! Nice job…; a 4.1-rated CD, so far…

>>> Sounds good, here, on tha 1^st verse, as well as tha beat… Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds good wit how y’all sing-rap it; gangsta shit… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it sounds nice; feelin’ this aggression…! Got tha 3^rd verse goin’ on, here & it’s pretty nice; consistent-soundin’ rappin’, just like tha 2^nd verse…! Don’t get us “T-E-M-P-T-E-D,” just like he said! We gotta “chill” wit our moods! My Rating: 4.2

>>> Sounds like a good lil’ beat fa this G-shit, here… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it’s pretty nice; sounds good wit what y’all bring… Hearin’ tha hook & it’s nice ta have anotha “ridaz” anthem! Got tha 2^nd verse goin’ on, here & it’s pretty nice wit tha G-shit y’all bringin’, here, as it’s anotha day in tha N.O. hood…! Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse & it’s nice, as well; almost sounds spoken-wordish than rappin’? Damn! “I ran ova dat fuckin’ pop star!” My Rating: 4.0

09. “Hard 2 Kill” feat. AK of Do Or Die
>>> An okay beat, here, as well as tha hook soundin’ a lil’ sung & rapped… Dude on tha 1^st verse “livin’ on tha west coast of Chicago;” iz this tha Do Or Die dude? I’ll put him on tha feature, since he’s tha only one from tha Chi on tha feature list… Either way, it flows nicely, here, as this sounds like some non-Louisiana heat… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it sounds good; rhymes delivered nicely, here…! Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse & it’s pretty nice; rapid-fire deliveries, or should I say, consistently-delivered deliveries…? Nice, either way…! Tha 4^th verse’s pretty consistent; gotta feel this consistentness! “M-One” got this shit on lock! My Rating: 4.4

>>> Sounds like an okay beat & 1^st verse, here; not too bad… Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds sad; also, remakin’ Marvin Gaye “What’s Going On” in tha words… Got tha 2^nd verse goin’ on, here & it’s ehh; decent, tho I’m not inta sad songs or remakes…! My Rating: 2.6

11. “Respect”
>>> Sounds a lil’ aggressive, here, as far as tha beat & 1^st verse goes… Gutta-soundin’ hook; definitely feelin’ this “rough” aggression! “I’mma eatcha ass like vegetables;” damn! Sounds like tha reference was before its time? Like, Lil’ Wayne-inspired rhymes…; dope shit, tho! Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse & it’s soundin’ good from that chick; not bad… Got tha 4^th verse, here & it’s soundin’ good; feelin’ this aggression & what’s goin’ on… My Rating: 4.3

>>> Sounds like an okay beat & tha 1^st verse’s all about dat “school” life, here; not bad… Hearin’ tha hook & it’s pretty nice; feelin’ what y’all got, here…! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & this aggression’s pretty nice; diggin’ it mo than tha 1^st verse! Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse & it’s pretty nice, here; feelin’ what’s goin’ on, once again… My Rating: 3.9

>>> Sounds like a good lil’ 1^st verse & beat; y’all continuin’ ta hold it down…! Hearin’ tha hook & it’s pretty nice, here; good shit… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it sounds good; ugh, hearin’ tha “pen”-related rhymes! Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 3^rd verse & it sounds str8, as well; a lil’ consistent wit tha flow, here… Got a 4^th verse, here, soundin’ nice ta hear, as well; good job… My Rating: 3.8

Overall: Sounded like a good CD, here; nice job wit how all y’all brought it! Keep up tha great work in this S.A.W.-like world we’re livin’ in…!
