Review #1,602: Geeno "Soul Muzik"

Reviewed on 12.01.2016 (Review #1,602)

I’ono about my next review, here, with it bein’ on tha R&B side… Geeno Soul Muzik, released in 2013 on Small Circle Kartel Entertainment… Start Time: 6:25 PM | End Time: 7:27 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> “ iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> “ iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

© 2016 CD Review (Review #1,602) reviewed on 12.01.2016 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Ever Loved Somebody”
G-Motive on tha beat… >>> Beat ain’t too bad, here… You’re settin’ a decent vibe with your singin’, here… Tha hook ain’t too bad with a sample, surprisingly… My Rating: 3.1

02. “Come Home”
You produced this one… >>> I kinda like this singin’ a lil’ betta but this still ain’t really up my alley… You sound good wit tha singin’ but I’ono how much regular people can take this serious, as far as a mainstream appeal or somethin’… My Rating: 3.2

03. “Dance The Night Away”
Julio on tha beat… >>> Titled “Dance With You” on DatPiff… I ain’t really feelin’ or anticipatin’ this voice… Ehh, can’t really say much about this; just a usual attempt at today’s R&B… My Rating: 1.7

04. “All My Love”
G-Motive beat… >>> Even slower but not too bad, so far… Ehh, kinda dead-beat but it ain’t bad-bad… My Rating: 2.3

05. “Bad Girl”
>>> May not be my type of music to anticipate, but this beat intro got me hyped! Even referencin’ R. Kelly & Big Tigger’s “Snake”, too… Tha hook sounds pretty nice and this soundin’ like it’s flowin’ in a special way… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ good, too; can’t complain… Could this be my top-rated one? My Rating: 3.7

06. “Cater 2 U” feat. Nino & Doe Boy
Same thing with this title… BeatMonstaz on tha beat… >>> I think tha title on tha DatPiff tracklist looks betta as “Dedicated 2 U” than just “Cater 2 U”…? Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it ain’t bad fa singin’… Rappin’ on tha 2nd verse, here; consistent shit, Doe Boy, even tho I don’t think tha fastness fits this vibe… Fuck! Tha ID threw me off on tha back cover! Tha DatPiff one got it right wit Nino before Doe Boy… Aight, here comes Doe Boy on tha 3rd verse and it sounds good… Even tho I don’t fuck wit this shit, his shit with tha “R. Kelly” music reference makes good for a lil’ fuckin’, right? My Rating: 2.7

07. “#2”
??? >>> Big Wayne doin’ tha beat… I actually like how this sounds fa a slow one and tha hook ain’t too bad… Rappin’ on tha 1st verse, here, soundin’ decent… Here you are on tha 2nd verse, singin’, soundin’ decent… More rappin’ goin’ on, here, on tha 3rd verse, soundin’ aight… And, more rappin’ on tha 4th verse, soundin’ nice… I’ono who all tha rappers are, tho; doesn’t say, anywhere? My Rating: 3.5

08. “Change Yo Life” feat. Lil’ Mook
Kinda scarin’ me wit these no-producer tracks… >>> It did say a producer in tha beginning, but I couldn’t catch who it was… Beat sounds a lil’ upbeat but tha quality of tha audio sounds a lil’ on tha undaground/low quality side… Tha hook aight; can’t really say anything on it… Hearin’ tha 1st verse from Mook and tha rappin’ sounds cool, here, keepin’ it southern… You on tha 2nd verse and it ain’t too bad… My Rating: 2.8

09. “Uncomparable”
??? >>> Big Wayne on tha beat… It sounds decent, here, on tha hook… Kinda boring and draggin’, but it iz what it iz… My Rating: 2.6

½time: So far, outta tha back cover’s tracks, I ain’t hear “Like Ohh” (produced by B-Real & NeilOnDaTrack), “Thank They Know” (produced by WeThaFewture), “You Wrong” (feat. Drell & produced by B-Real) & “The Forecast” (produced by B-Real). It’s like, talk about unexpectedly avoidin’ B-Real! But yeah, I don’t really come here to review R&B music that’s on tha boring side… So far, only a 2.8 for tha CD rating…

10. “Sorry” feat. Nino
Don Julio on tha beat (full name?)… >>> Not anticipatin’ this sorrow shit… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s bleh…!! You on tha 1st verse and it’s aight… Nino on tha 2nd verse, really lovin’ “this relationship,” as he don’t “wanna quit!” My Rating: 2.1

11. “Dey Call Me”
WeThaFewture beat… >>> Really? WTF (lol) are tha “you know I made tha beat” people, smh? Fuck that! Kinda likin’ that this more on tha rap side, as far as tha production… Kinda likin’ how you comin’ through on tha 1st verse, as if Ginuwine was havin’ fun or somethin’… Tha hook sounds pretty anthemic; ain’t expect this hyped-upness… Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ nice, too, even tho there’s a lotta big dreams bein’ displayed on tha track, here… My Rating: 3.4

12. “Lovers & Friends” feat. Blvd Jay & Roota
Wasn’t anticipatin’ this title, as I thought it was gon go a Lil’ Jon & The Eastside Boyz & Usher route. However, Big Wayne produced this, so hopefully, it’s a lil’ betta? >>> Looks like I was right about tha remake; bleh… Sounds betta than usual shit on here for a production from Big Wayne, but ehh… You on tha 1st verse and I ain’t really got anythang ta say about it… Tha 2nd verse iz you again, soundin’ a lil’ catchy wit tha flow, here… Blvd Jay on tha 3rd verse, layin’ down some rhymes… Jay + Big Wayne on tha combination sounds like a good lil’ Baton Rouge rap song, overall… And, a 4th verse: Roota comin’ through, comparin’ tha “bitch” to a “new brick;” dope… Basically, I only came here for tha rappin’… My Rating: 2.2

13. “Your Love”
??? >>> Big Wayne beat; Big Wayne produced a bunch of these tracks that are not on tha back cover… Beat’s kinda plain with a few catchy sounds and you sound decent on this… Nothin’ much ta say about this, overall… My Rating: 2.5

14. “Tell Me”
No producer listed… >>> Just decent, once again… My Rating: 2.0

15. “Something Out Of Nothing” feat. Lil’ Bone & Drell
No producer listed… >>> A lil’ more jammin’… Even on an R&B CD/track like this, there’ll be “money” rappin’, smh… Either way, nice to just randomly hear a Bone verse, I guess? Drell sounds nice wit tha rappin’ on tha 2nd verse, too… Kinda glad this was more on tha rappin’ side, compared to tha R&B vibe of this CD… And, endin’ it wit you singin’… My Rating: 3.3

16. “Finally Here”
Don Julio on tha beat… >>> Decent; nothin’ much ta say, once again… My Rating: 2.4

17. “Stressing Me” feat. Rundy
Endin’ it with a no-producer track? >>> This iz what it iz… Rundy sounds nice and hyped-up wit tha rappin’, tho! My Rating: 2.9

Overall: Not really an R&B type of person… This shit was decent fa an R&B CD, even tho I ain’t rate it too high… I was wonderin’ why all those tracks on tha back cover I ain’t hear on here? Also, some tracks were in tha folder and not on tha back cover? Confusing…

Review #1,601: Nino "All Eyes On Me"

Reviewed on 11.30.2016 (Review #1,601)

Gettin’ some more reviewz outta my way… Forgot how I found out about this one but straight outta Small Circle Kartel Entertainment, it’s Nino All Eyes On Me, released back three years ago, in 2013! Start Time: 4:49 PM | End Time: 6:11 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! © 2016 CD Review (Review #1,601) reviewed on 11.30.2016 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Intro”
An intro with 4:21 on tha length? >>> Sounds pretty good with your intro, this beat, and how you sound like Spitta on tha verse, here…; dope… My Rating: 3.8

02. “Pay Attention” feat. Geeno
>>> G-Motivation beat; nice lil’ soundin’ beat, here… Tha beat’s a spin-off of Slick Rick’s “Children Story”, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ jammin’, like it was a West Coast anthem; dope shit! I like how you “addicted ta shmokin’ weed.” Gotta luv it, even tho I feel like I’m not “addicted” to it. Example: Today, I’m just gettin’ reviewz done… Tha 2nd verse’s nice with tha “got me a plug for dat weed,” when it came to you bein’ “15;” nice! My Rating: 4.3

03. “Life Of A Thug Nigga” feat. Ray Vicks
>>> Sounds like a nice lil’ street anthem; dope shit! Simple but pure hook with that beat! Tha 1st verse pretty nice, here; good shit… Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse and you consistently keepin’ it goin’, here; nice! Did I miss Ray Vicks or did y’all sound alike? Weird… My Rating: 3.7

04. “Outchea”
>>> Sounds like an excellent production, here! Gotta luv tha trombone! Shit sounds nice on tha hook, between bein’ “off tha porch” and bein’ “outchea!” Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice wit how you comin’ through wit it… I expect, like, some hi-hats or somethin’ in tha beat, here, but there’s none… It kinda missin’ an extra spice in tha beat… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ good, too, lettin’ it be known what be goin’ down… My Rating: 4.3

05. “Misunderstood”
>>> Comin’ through wit Big Wayne doin’ tha beat! Sounds good; can’t say much else about tha production… Baton Rouge at its finest! Hearin’ tha hook and it’s soundin’ nice wit how you keep tellin’ ‘em how they be havin’ shit “misunderstood;” dope shit! Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice wit how you comin’ through wit this gangsta shit! Tha 2nd verse’s good, as you keepin’ it G, here… My Rating: 4.2

06. “Don’t Need”
>>> Soundin’ like a catchier beat, here; definitely feelin’ those keys! Tha hook’s pretty nice; true shit about “friends turn into enemies!” Hearin’ tha 1st verse and you soundin’ good… As long as you spittin’ rhymes, you a celeb ta me—well, a celeb in tha makin’! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and you keepin’ it goin’ wit err-thang goin’ on, here… My Rating: 4.0

07. “Rather Be With You”
>>> This beat’s nice, too; gotta get used to tha background vocal sample, tho, on tha hook… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it ain’t too bad, here… I’ont think I gon feel this one like some of tha other shit on here, but it ain’t too bad… Tha one good thing about it iz that tha beat’s nice and it’s not too long (3:00’s nice)… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ good, too… My Rating: 3.6

08. “‘Bout That Life”
>>> Ain’t catch tha producer on tha beat but it’s anotha one of those quality-soundin’ beats from tha 225! Sounds like a good street anthem with that Spitta-like flow/sound, here! Nice, includin’ tha hook… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ catchy with these barbequin’ rhymes! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ decent, too; gotta keep it movin’… My Rating: 3.8

½time: Nice job with this CD, so far! Great production and you bringin’ a good set of tracks, here! 4.0 fa tha CD rating, currently…

09. “Go Wit Yo Move” feat. Roota & Blvd Jay
I think this gon be good/tha best one on here? >>> Definitely feelin’ tha intense beat intro!! Lol, I luv how I predicted this ta be my favorite track and it only has to get at least a 4.4 to be my top-rated, so far! Definitely feelin’ tha energy on tha hook and tha beat! Definitely top-notch shit!! These types of jiggin’/hyped-up tracks neva get old!! Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice; gotta luv this! It’s all about partyin’ at all times!! Fuck those goin’ ta sleep early!! Tha 2nd verse’s pretty energetic and aggressive wit tha delivery, here! Sounds like tha volume went up in tha voice! Gotta luv tha upbeat vibes!! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it’s soundin’ pretty nice, too! A Small “Circle” Kartel representation, here! I luv how it ended kinda strange, too, quickly… My Rating: 4.6

10. “Heaven Or Hell”
>>> Should I have guessed it was gon be this track with Guordan Banks and ‘em? Kinda a shitty way to follow up that energetic track… *Yawns…* Ugh! A whole 5:44? Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it’s pretty nice wit how you comin’ through wit this energy, deliverin’ tha aggressive shit… Tha 2nd verse soundin’ nice, too, comin’ through nicely wit it… My Rating: 3.7

11. “Do 4 Love” feat. JPP3
>>> We’re goin’ downhill wit this CD? Not too crazy about tha singin’ or tha jacked-soundin’ beat, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it aight… Tha 2nd verse straight, too, but not my kinda vibe, here… My Rating: 3.3

12. “Goin’ In” feat. Doe Boy
A throwback feature, here (well, at tha time of this release, it would’ve been not too long ago), with this Short Bus Boy! >>> Sounds so much betta on tha start, here! Ken on tha beat? Just takin’ a guess from what I might’ve heard in tha background… Let’s just say it was a guess… Tha hook sounds nice with tha “retarded” shit and even tho this sounds nice, I feel like it’s lackin’ energy? Hearin’ tha 1st verse and tha beat continues ta stay interesting wit you holdin’ shit down… Keepin’ it goin’ wit Doe Boy on tha 2nd verse, here, soundin’ nice on this track! Glad ta hear from him again! Then again, this don’t sound like tha same Doe Boy, to be honest… I’ll have to do research when I can! And, almost thought tha track ended but tha beat shall continue! My Rating: 4.3

13. “Them Days” feat. Kevin Gates
Let’s see… >>> Not feelin’ how it starts with a Monica sample in tha beginning, but it’s soundin’ nice with this production… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ pretty nice ta hear… And, Gates on tha 2nd verse, here, doin’ his thang wit his braggin’-soundin’ rhymes… My Rating: 4.3

14. “Jump” feat. Dat Boy A, Foxx & JPP3
What a lineup! >>> Here’s some energy, here! Definitely feelin’ tha energetic beat, as well as A holdin’ down tha hook! All about tha jumpin’!! Got you on tha 1st verse, rattlin’ dem rhymes off!! “Fresher than a pack of swishers!” And, Foxx on tha 2nd verse, providin’ as much energy as A, here! Gotta luv it at all times!! And, that JPP3 dude on tha 3rd verse, here… I almost thought he was a singer on one of them tracks I ain’t feel too much, but I guess he rappin’… It’s decent rappin’; he just a filler, basically… Nothin’ negative, tho nothin’ exciting… My Rating: 4.6

15. “Tell You This”
”You”, not “Yo”? >>> Yeah, I’d say, “You”; even says it in my iTunes… Sounds like one of them country rap tunes, like, tha today’s version of it on tha beat… Hearin’ tha hook and it decent; nothin’ special wit this title… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it aight, too… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it iz what it iz, holdin’ it down… My Rating: 3.3

16. “Dumb Ova Here” feat. Doe Boy
Likin’ tha feature again! >>> Sounds like anotha energetic vibe! It might even be more energetic than tha previous Doe Boy collab! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ nice wit how you deliverin’ this street shit… Tha hook’s simple and plain; gotta luv tha hyped-up vibe! That’s all I know! “Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb! I’m throwed off!” And, that Doe Boy on tha 2nd verse, here, soundin’ like Young Gregory with tha voice, this time… Definitely feelin’ tha club/hood shit he bringin’ to tha table; gotta luv it! My Rating: 4.2

17. “Street Muzik” feat. Roota & Donkey
Yeah…! >>> Sounds good in tha beginning, here; nice hook… Hearin’ tha 1st—oh, looka! Features! Not listed on tha back cover! Good thing I noticed ‘em and heard tha 1st verse, here! Shit’s definitely nice on tha 1st verse, wit dat aggression!! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ nice, too; can’t complain… Great job wit this collab, too; dumb shit! My Rating: 4.3

Overall: Sounded like a nice CD, here; props ta SCK! Hope you keep it movin’! I know you already are!

Review #1,600: Level "Penetrate: The Sextape"

Reviewed on 11.30.2016 (Review #1,600)

Hittin’ my 1,600th review right nah! Hit my 1,500th review back on June 7th; not bad for my work schedule! Up now, we got Level Penetrate: The Sextape, released not too long ago but before tha Club Banga King 3 that he released, on Mayham Entertainment… Start Time: 3:07 PM | End Time: 4:03 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! © 2016 CD Review (Review #1,600) reviewed on 11.30.2016 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Intro
>>> Lady sounds hilarious, especially since I’m startin’ this review at my enemy’s birthday time. My enemy always makes stupid double entendre references at my job (“small ball guy was on;” “big ball guy was on;” “messy dude was on”)! My Rating: N/A

02. “Anywhere” feat. Sayyo Feek & Mystikal
>>> Remakin’ tha ‘90s 112 song, here, between tha beat and tha hook… Not bad; a good effort for a Rodnae/Beats How U Want ‘Em beat… You on tha 1st verse and it’s good; not much ta say… And, gotta luv how Mystikal comes through wit his energy! He, like, tha prerequisite version of you, Lev! My Rating: 3.7

03. “Sexy Lady” feat. Virdure
>>> Koon doin’ tha beat… Hearin’ and seein’ tha title, I’m thinkin’, iz this CD gon be, like, a ‘90s remake set? Reminds me of Tyrese or somethin’ on tha hook, here…; ehh… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it decent… You holdin’ this vibe down but this vibe ain’t tha greatest, in my opinion… And, tha 2nd verse okay but why tha long outro? My Rating: 3.3

04. “Headboard” feat. Pokey
>>> Beat Flippa beat, this time… Outta tha three R&Bish beats, this sounds like it tha best one… A good vibe on tha hook, here; let’s see how this go… You on tha 1st verse, holdin’ it down like a boss… And, tha 2nd verse sounds catchy wit how you come through “from tha front” and how you come through “from tha back.” My Rating: 3.8

05. “Slow & Steady”
>>> Not too crazy about this whole “slow” vibe… Some of it’s aight, but I ain’t gon go crazy ova it… Decent 1st verse from you but boring, mainstream-soundin’ beat… Tha 2nd verse soundin’ like you givin’ out “dick” for free or somethin’, here… My Rating: 3.4

06. “Pussy On You” feat. Lady Kym
>>> Kinda silly and kinda ehh on tha sound, here, between tha hook and calm beat… Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice, here, from you, just layin’ bidness down… Kym layin’ down some bidness fa you on tha 2nd verse, here, as well… And, you got a 3rd verse, here, Lev, holdin’ it down… My Rating: 3.5

07. “U Kno What I Like” feat. Rob Taylor
>>> Q-Red beat… Beat ain’t too bad fa a laidback, slow vibe, as well as tha hook… You ain’t bad on this track but that singer makes shit boring, at times… I understand you’re tryna set tha consistent vibe with these R&B/rap tracks, but I’m just lettin’ you know that I’m not crazy about these kinda tracks… My Rating: 3.3

½time: Not really my kinda shit, overall, but it happens… Nothin’s wack, but nothin’s hot; all are decent… A 3.5-rated CD with tha highest rating only bein’ a 3.8!!

08. “Ackin’ Like U Scared” feat. Virdure
>>> I hate how all these slow jamz be havin’ beat tags! It’s like, what are they tryna prove? No tightness, whatsoeva!! Still, this decent with tha hook and how you comin’ through wit it… My Rating: 3.4

09. “Put One In Ya” feat. Tucka
>>> Q-Red beat, with a baby cryin’ in tha beginning… Decent hook; nice lil’ slow beat… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and, as always, you layin’ it down… And, Tucka on tha 2nd verse… Ehh @ tha rappin’… They should just stick to singin’ ‘cause their rappin’ don’t spark me, in any way… It’s just filler material… My Rating: 3.6

10. “Say My Name” feat. Cupid
>>> Mouse doin’ a beat, here; let’s see how he does… I’m definitely feelin’ tha beat intro fa a slow track, so let’s see if it can pull through… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s aight; Cupid’s Cupid… Cupid on tha 1st verse ain’t too bad, here; nothin’ wack but nothin’ special… Mouse makes me like Cupid a lil’ more wit this one… Here you are on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some okay shit… My Rating: 3.7

11. “Higher” feat. Detroit & Latangela Fay
>>> Beat’s ehh… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s ehh, too… Fuck tha rest of this; nothin’ special… My Rating: 2.5

12. “Early In Da Morning” feat. Tyree Neal
>>> Sounds like a pop/R&B vibe in tha beat, here… Hook’s whateva; you ain’t bad, here… I’ono, but tha singer features shouldn’t have verses; it just drags… My Rating: 2.6

13. “Me & You”
>>> Q-Red… Way too much like an unoriginal R&B vibe, here… Okay rhymes from you, here, but this whole entire CD’s vibe’s borin’ me… My Rating: 2.4

14. “How You Want It”
>>> Anotha one from Mr. Red… Again, on tha boring tip; bad voice effects on tha 1st verse, this time! That’s where tha wack vibes come in! My Rating: 1.7

15. “Sex Me”
>>> Endin’ it with a G-Motivation beat… Hook ain’t too bad with tha female singin’, as well as your rappin’… I don’t have anything else ta say; just waitin’ for this to end… My Rating: 2.8

Overall: I love how I started tha review at my enemy’s birthday time and there wasn’t ONE 4.0 or higher rating! With that bein’ said, this for tha R&B heads, not for me…

Review #1,470: Level & Mookie Blakk "Now Or Never"

Reviewed on 6.29.2015 (Review #1,470)

Keepin’ my reviewz goin’, despite prolly gettin’ no feedback at all, smh, here’s Level & Mookie Blakk Now Or Never, released last year on Mayham Entertainment. Luv how Mookie’s name’s spelled wrong. It’s Blakk, not Black! Of course, I refuse to spend a penny on somethin’ like this that was not even sent to me on time, so it’s mine for nothin’!! Start Time: 11:30 AM | End Time: 12:37 PM

Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. “Now Or Never”
>>> Sounds real nice ta hear with my girl on my screen! Perfect combination; hot beat! Great intro from Level, here… Diggin’ tha hook, minus tha “money” obsession! Even though it goes in one ear and out tha other, I still appreciate this energetic music at all times! Nice 2nd ½ of tha hook with tha title repeatin’! Here goes Level on tha 1st verse and thinkin’ about “1987,” I think to myself, “Wow, who would’ve thought I’d be at least five years older than almost all my co-workers?” Damn, where’d tha time go? And, comin’ up from tha grave, here’s Mookie Blakk on tha 2nd verse. Like, you neva hear from this dude, anymore, like, why? Sounds pretty nice and Louisianaful on tha verse; gotta still dig it… My Rating: 4.5

02. “Swag Right”
>>> E…W…E…Q…R…E…D…O…N…T…H…E…T…R…A…C…K… You already know that I can’t leave feedback on tha production, so lemme just rate tha track, itself… Despite this stupid title, I definitely am diggin’ tha hook! Always delivered in a catchy way by you, Level! Here goes Level on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some consistent shit; definitely a club banga at its finest! No wonder why I can always work six dayz a week and 10-hour dayz!! Too bad tha hook has “stacks” in it; let’s see how many songs’ll have a money reference on this CD, smh… Next up, we got Mookie on tha 2nd verse, still chasin’ dem “women,” huh? Seems like he’s so old, for some reason, only ‘cause you don’t hear from him, anymore… If I can guess or remember, he 37 by now? Like, WTF? He was, like, 30 when I first talked to him! Now, I’m almost 30! Well, I got three more years! But, it was still a nice verse ta hear… My Rating: 4.7

03. “Gun Range” feat. Mista Cain
>>> Really likin’ this beat start a whole lot; very anticipatin’! Here we go, EQ! Definitely a nice 1st verse at its finest!! Luvin’ all this shit with tha “gun” references, except how Level mentioned, “I got buku money;” WHY?!? But, this definitely intense; really luvin’ it! “I’m 25…;” really? It’s still 2012/2013, here? Tha hook sounds pretty nice, too; intensity at its finest!! Keepin’ it goin’ wit Mookie on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit a catchy flow and how he always lays it down on tha track! And now, here comes Cain on tha 3rd verse… Definitely diggin’ tha fast flow, at first, and we got tha gunz on lock… Still can’t picture anyone havin’ one, like, why? Nice “iron” part around 3:24! My Current Rating: 4.8
EDIT: Wow, reviewed it last year…

04. “Ball Like A Dog”
>>> Sounds like a nice, Louisiana-soundin’ song, here; can’t complain… Gotta luv how Mookie still “got dem Watsons!” Hearin’ him on tha 1st verse wit mo pill-poppin’ shit and it sounds nice. However, why M.I.A. from my life? These people just vanished outta my life without tellin’ me! It’s like, W.H.Y.?!? No Facebook, no Twitter, etc.; why? Now, we got Level on tha 2nd verse; let’s see if he can avoid tha word “money…” A lil’ cocky on tha rhymes, here; God forbid he don’t have a “bitch,” smh! Oh no, I hear somethin’ “broke,” and somethin’ “tha bank;” boo! My Current Rating: 4.2
EDIT: Wow, this too…

05. “I Know Right” feat. Mouse
Lookin’ forward ta this one! >>> So far, it sounds good; can’t complain with this one, either… Tha hook sounds simple, but can catch onto ya… Hearin’ Level on tha—fuck, he said, “You ain’t got no money!” Why can’t “money” be equivalent to someone else’s dick? Like, we should just make every fuckin’ artist gay for throwin’ that bullshit out there to tha watered-down music world!! But, it was an okay 1st verse from Level, regardless. And now, we got Mouse on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit catchiness; gotta luv his voice!! He got dat consistency on lock; luv tha beat and him together!! Luv how Mouse checks in in tha background of tha hook! “I know… I know… I know… I know…;” dumb shit!! Here comes Mookie on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit his catchy voice, too; luv all tha catchiness!! My Rating: 4.7

06. “Dead & Gone” feat. Malachi
>>> Malachi groanin’ in tha intro, here… Hearin’ tha hook from Level and it sounds nice with this beat. See, now, a song like this doesn’t need a “money” reference! If it’s not “money,” it’s “hoes,” smh; good grief! Level comin’ through on tha 1st verse with some regular-soundin’ rhymes ‘cause of this sad topic about dyin’. Did he say, “That’s why I bank a lot;” money reference? Damn… damn…! No homo!! Hearin’ Mookie on tha 2nd verse and it sux to lose their “child,” especially when they’re “20!” My mom lost her son, my brother, at just 25, not even two months ago! He “made it to see 25,” but just only 25 and 12 dayz. :( But, nice lil’ heartfelt verse right there, Mookie. And now, an outro, sendin’ an R.I.P. shout out. Oh yeah, forgot about Malachi for a sec, holdin’ down a lil’ bit of tha outro… My Rating: 4.3

07. “Throw It Up” feat. Q-Red
>>> Sounds anticipatin’ like B-Real in tha beginning, but no!! If it’s not B-Real, it’s gotta be someone else! Q-Red; ewe!! Not even listed on tha feature… He’s on tha hook and all I have to say iz, Ang… *goes to Ang’s Facebook…* “Can we start breaks?!? Who’s first on break?!?” ROFL!!! I gotta tolerate that shit tomorrow, ROFL!! Gonna have to put Q-Red in my head at 8:59:00 ‘cause Ang’ll ask at 8:59:51 & 8:59:57, like, seconds before 9!! B-Real couldn’t handle that when I’d tell him I’d call him at tha exact time I’d say! It’s like, damn, no one in Baton Rouge can take business seriously, it seems like? :( That’s all I gotta say!! And, here we go with Level on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit catchy shit! Definitely diggin’ tha rhymes and catchy flow, here! Did I not hear a money reference? We got Mookie on tha 2nd verse and it’s nice… However, I hear him goin’ on and on about “money,” at one point! Oh, what Ang iz to breaks iz what I am to “money” in rhymes!! My Rating: 4.6

08. “Let It Rain” feat. April Reign
>>> Sounds familiar? Either way, way too slow for this CD! What a way to kill tha vibe! An okay 1st verse from Level, here, but on tha boring side… Hearin’ Mookie on tha 2nd verse, as well as tha hook and it ain’t bad… Damn, “my money come in access;” gay! A lil’ bridge/verse from April near tha end, here; an okay part but fuck, she even ruined tha ending! Like, “Moneyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy;” why?!? Gonna just say, fuck this! My Rating: 2.7

09. “Buy Me A Drank” feat. April Reign
My Current Rating: 4.4

½time: So far, pretty nice, except tha “Let It Rain” song; luvin’ tha club bangaz, of course! Can’t deny err-thang goin’ on, here; always keep it hyped up! For now, tha CD rating’s at a 4.3; let’s keep tha collaboration project between Level & Mookie Blakk goin’!

10. “Do It”
>>> Sounds like a nice, uptempo club beat, includin’ tha hook; nice. Here comes Mookie on tha 1st verse and damn, here comes tha “money” shit ta start tha verse off; y…a…w…n… Here comes Level on tha 2nd verse and let’s see how many bars it takes for him to say somethin’ about “money…” Well, only three, smh! He sounds great on this, but that’s all I gotta say. Likin’ tha “-ank” shit ta end some of tha lines; good shit! We got a 3rd verse from Mookie, here, comin’ through wit a nice “party;” can’t complain… And, Level comin’ through on tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse wit dem “loratabs & Xanabarz!” My Rating: 4.2

11. “Showing Luv” feat. Box
Box not listed on tha track… My Current Rating: 3.9

12. “Brown & White 2014” feat. Big Poppa
Let’s see tha 2014 version, like a 3rd part… >>> Already in one ear and out tha otha, since Q-Red produced it… Zero memories with me, now, smh. But, nice hook wit Mookie on tha hook; nice lil’ resurrection in a long-lost Louisiana world! It sux ‘cause I now have a record label behind me with multiple articles out there, and no one fucks wit me, anymore! It’s like, y’all losses! Got a wild Mookie on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit consistency ta hold tha club down! While I refuse to comment on tha production, I have to say, no wonder where I get my energy from, at work. It’s almost like I take Q-Red in me, while working, but get rid of all his ignoring, BPM-hating baggage he brings, and just have a good time at work, ya dig? At 2:03, a loooooooooooong, niiiiiiiiiice screeeeeeech from Big Poppa? But wait, we got Level on tha 2nd verse, here; leggo! Let’s see how long ‘til he talks about “money!” Ooh, heard “loratabs, Xanabarz” before a “money” reference! I think he went a verse without mentionin’ “money;” wow!! Got tha biggest Poppa on tha 3rd verse, lol; he sounded nice on this shit. He no longer sounds below average, like some of tha times back in tha day. Nice lil’ “gumbo” line, too; gotta keep tha Louisiana energy comin’ along! My Rating: 4.6

13. “Something They Can Feel”
>>> Sounds like a lil’ video game in tha background of this beat? Pretty anticipatin’; thanx, G-Motive! Mookie on tha hook and yeah, “Let’s give ‘em somethin’ they can feel!!” A catchy hook with tha cool look, too; good shit! I continue ta look cool amongst my peers; always feelin’ like a celebrity! Nice, catchy 1st verse from Mookie, here; gotta feel tha rhymes! Still, I don’t expect my phone to ring by him anytime soon… It’s like, turn M.I.A. into I.M.H.E.R.E.! Level on tha 2nd verse, here, and blah, blah, blah! Cocky rhymes at their finest, smh… I guess this what makes tha club go ‘round? Nice “This ain’t no X-Box, this ain’t no PS3” shit; feelin’ that shit! However, here Level goes with tha “If you ain’t got no money” shit; well, where’s mine? Neva got a penny from you with business, Level! I literally feel like a piece of shit and that’s why people don’t see me doin’ things, these dayz! Y’all be self-centered? Well, guess what, I am, now! No one can handle it; it’s scary!! My Rating: 4.3

14. “I Thought You Knew”
>>> A Q-Red beat; why can’t he be a better person? With this Racked-Up Ready tribute video I got comin’ up, I wonder if he’ll even watch tha video? Prolly not! I’ll just go back to my six dayz a week with my job! But, tha hook sounds nice; feelin’ tha sample… Hearin’ Level on tha 1st verse and it’s catchy; always gotta rep strong fa tha Rouge! Mookie on tha 2nd verse, here, and females “wearin’” males’ “clothes,” lol? You already know that you gotta have a lil’ transgender/acting in you, right? A regular-soundin’ verse, but please, puke when you say, “Money,” Mookie! It’s gay! Let males wear female clothes like Young Thug!! My Rating: 4.4

15. “Put It On Ya”
>>> Really hot beat start, here! Tha hook sounds pretty catchy, here; good shit, Mookie! And, here comes Mookie on tha 1st verse, comin’ through nicely on tha track! Ahh, “money in my pocket;” damn, you Mookie!! Am I gonna earn “money” from you soon? I prolly am better off pickin’ up extra hours at my job? That’s easy “money” that I’d PULL TEETH FOR with anyone from Louisiana, smh! But, here goes Mookie on tha 2nd verse, too, comin’ through wit more catchy rhymes… I still don’t get how you guys can release this music and not even send it to me. It’s like, why even record anything? It’s just goin’ to WASTE!! W.A.S.T.E.!!!!! Now, we finally got Level on tha 3rd verse and it’s soundin’ good. A reference to “BluBlack,” here, or was Level meaning “blue black?” Either way, I know they’ve collaborated before, but I’ono if Level would show him luv outside of a conversation ‘cause Blu’s underrated! My Rating: 4.3

16. “Jump On It”
>>> More Q-Red beats with somethin’ that sounds like a female sample from tha ‘90s or somethin’, like a party R&B record… Either way, an okay hook. Hearin’ Mookie on tha 1st verse and it sounds decent. It’s almost like we keep gettin’ a large amount of quantity with music, these dayz. Like, why does every CD have to have, like, 18 songs on it? Like, what’s with all tha Level CDs gettin’ out there that I neva hear? Too much quantity over quality? Like, a good portion of tha quality in tha music’s here, but not to last a legacy, due to I don’t get to enjoy it while it’s out! SMH! Now, we got Level on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit a nice sex scene! Imagine a dude hittin’ on Level, lol? Like, Level, how would you react? How would you react to an autistic person approachin’ you? Hmm… Will that eva happen? Will Level have an autistic kid? An okay verse; can’t complain… My Rating: 4.0

17. “Something Safe To Play With”
>>> A knock at tha do’…; an EQ beat… Catchy hook from Mookie, here; kinda reminds me of my ’08 excitement for Louisiana music, lol. Hearin’ Mookie on tha 1st verse and he’s got shit on lock; nice job, minus tha “Ben Franklins!” Too many beat tag noises? Kinda gay, like a dude hittin’ on anotha dude, right? Hearin’ more of tha hook and it’s now soundin’ like Mookie’s obsessin’ “money” even more; gross!! Here comes Level on tha 2nd verse, soundin’ good, as always! Then again, “nothin’ but 25;” it’s 2012/2013 again? Enough wit tha “money” shit, Level!! My Rating: 4.1

18. “Throw Up My Pocket”
>>> Anotha beat provided by EQ Tha Misfit, here… Sounds like a club banga fa Mookie, here, like a snake windin’… Nice 2nd ½ of tha hook wit tha title part and tha “drop it down low;” good shit, Mookie! Damn, why all tha beat sounds again, throughout tha whole entire song? Stupid idea!! Mookie on tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ nice, of course; can’t complain, here… Hearin’ Level on tha 2nd verse and it sounds nice, too; I’m likin’ tha “Foxy Brown” reference, too. I also like how Level said, “Fasho,” on tha start to tha 13th bar, lol. My Rating: 4.3

19. “5-Star Cypher” feat. Box, Racked-Up Ready & Max Minelli
Endin’ it with an almost-nine-minute joint, here… >>> Beat’s aight ta rap on, here… Here’s Level on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit dat energy! “I’m tryna get some money. My money good…;” yeah, yeah, yeah… “I’m just playin’, mane;” heard tha laughter in your voice, lol. Guess this tha way of rappin’ off tha top of your head? No wonder why there’s so many “money” references, smh! I’ve gotten a lot betta with freestylin’ now, eva since workin’, goin’ through shit & gettin’ high, and I have ta say, I can even try and avoid any “money” references as much as I can! Try it! Like, numbers are better, such as 36,000 seconds in 10 hours, or 5 81334 00501 0 for a .99 coffee coupon’s barcode, Level!! Think! Now, we got Mookie on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some catchy rhymes; feelin’ his random rappin’… Damn, Mookie, at 3:12, “Fuck till I’m exhausted;” came outta nowhere, lol! Lots of Mookie rappin’, here; nice! Time fa “B-O-X” on tha 3rd verse, here… Just an okay verse fa me, but nothin’ ta complain about. Just like he said, “Tha verses are basic;” exactly what I said! Now, we got “Young Ready,” as he says, on tha 4th verse, here… Feelin’ his gangsta shit, here… No bullshit rhymes on this verse, here; feelin’ what he got goin’ on, here. LOL @ “I like bitches who suck and fuck;” lol @ tha “suck and fuck!” And now, Max on tha 5th verse ta rap it up! Regular rappin’, here; nothin’ really ta say… And, like Level said, “I’m tha best;” he was, on this! My Rating: 4.0

Overall: This CD was strongest during tha beginning and then, got a lil’ on a decent level. There were still quite a bit of bangerz, though. I have to give Level his props for always havin’ energy, non-stop! Got two more reviewz of him to do, so I gon appreciate more energy comin’ outta his August 28, 1987-ass, lol! But yeah, nice team project and, as always, great production! Keep tha energy goin’ fa life!!
