Review #1,311: DJ Hektik, Big Jay, DJ 5150, DJ Dow Jones & Dre "N.O. To The B.R. 10 (Hosted by Turk)"

Reviewed on 8.29.2013 (Review #1,311)

Got anotha review up next: DJ Hektik, Big Jay, DJ 5150, DJ Dow Jones & Dre - N.O. To The B.R. 10 (Hosted by Turk). Now, I thought I reviewed Vol. 10, which I thought was this: http://www.livemixtapes.com/mixtapes/19819/no-to-the-br-10.html But, that’s just a Bayou Classic Edition. Now, I got tha real Vol. 10. Another thing: Why this CD 1:24:10? Doesn’t it suck to sell zero copies in tha streetz? Start Time: 12:09 PM | End Time: 12:52 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

© 2013 CD Review (Review #1,311) reviewed on 8.29.2013 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Turk “Intro”
>>> Good intro, but there are three other DJs on here, Turk! My Rating: N/A

02. Turk Feat. Lil’ Wayne “Zip It”
>>> Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it sounds good wit zippin’ their “mouth!” Not really into Wayne, as always; nothin’ horrible, but nothin’ to listen to. Let’s see what (would’ve been) Turk’s comeback verse sounds like… Sounds like it’s on some 2010s, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony-type shit… I’ll give it props; good job, Turk. My Rating: 3.9

03. Ceto “40 On Me”
>>> Kinda sounds boring fa me, here; sounds like regular mainstream music on all levels… My Rating: 2.3

04. Calliope Var Feat. Goonie Gang “Money-Making Nigga”
>>> Not likin’ tha vocals on tha hook; Drake ain’t tha end of tha world!! Sounds way too much like his music, almost like a new version of “Forever”; yuck! …YUCK! But, since it’s Calliope’s song, I’ll peep out more… Here he iz on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some successful turnouts; I can feel tha rhymes, so there’s at least one plus. Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, either. Other people can make this kinda music, and it’ll be boring. But, when it’s Calliope, I seem to be interested. My Rating: 2.9

05. Kevin Gates “Love Gates”
>>> Had no idea what this was ‘til I saw tha “Love” in tha title, again… “Love Gates” = “Love Sosa”. Well, not really into tha fast rappin’; startin’ ta not make sense, anymore. Not everyone’s Twista!! At least there’s a video fa this; makes things a lil’ betta, but still, a video for a jacked-beat song? Where’s tha original production when you need it! Gates need ta holla at me fa a video, but this music world’s so one-dimensional, aiming at what’s ‘cool,’ and there’s no room fa me! My Rating: 3.5

06. LG Feat. Curren$y “Battlefield”
>>> Good rhymes, here, but why so undefined wit this “battlefield”? Like, why can’t LG paint a complete picture, so I can learn about him? Either way, good job wit tha song, and Curren$y sounds good fa a collab. My Rating: 3.8

07. Clever Kev “King Tut”
>>> Gotta keep tha feedback real short ‘cause I still was neva called back fa dat interview I wanted, last year! Sounds like a freestyle, here; why does everyone have “niggaz,” homies, etc.? I’m 25, and I’ve neva had a friend I’ve known in person die, yet! Lucky? Good, here, but startin’ ta sound like braggin’ toward tha end… My Rating: 4.2

08. Juvenile Feat. Beat Docta “Blow My High”
>>> Sounds like randomness in tha hook, here… Okay, I can hear a clearer version of tha randomness at :27… Catchy hook; not bad… Feelin’ tha collaboration, here; agreessive, like when Magic was alive! My Rating: 4.0

09. 6 Ward Pook & Calliope Var “Downtown/Uptown Status”
>>> Sounds a lil’ like Mon Mack, here, in tha beginning (6 Ward Pook); catchy. Also, it almost sounds like a calmer version of tha “N.O. Anthem” Da U Boys came out wit, a few years back. Feelin’ how he comin’ through on tha beat, here; sounds consistent—dat 2010s N.O. shit I like. Calliope’s got a lotta freeing goin’ on, here. Ehh, I still don’t understand how dudes can like/support other dudes, since no one supports me, but it’s all good fa tha song, here. My Rating: 4.2

10. Ray Vicks Feat. Squirm G “Doin’ 2 Much”
>>> A good song; nothin’ really ta say, but y’all bling-blingin’ err-body out… My Rating: 3.8

11. Young D-Boy & Juvenile “On My Grind”
>>> Tha previous song was okay, and I had nothin’ ta really say. This iz on dat level, but a lil’ boring wit this ‘earnin’-money’ shit… Ehh, Juve, you sound like a ‘90s baby wit these ‘need-ta-get-money’ lyrics… My Rating: 2.6

12. Turk “Turk Speaks”
>>> Nice intermission! My Rating: N/A

13. Turk “Not Guilty”
>>> Short and sweet; sounds great wit tha aggression! My Rating: 4.1

14. Young Ready “Both Ways”
>>> Young Ready luvs his Q-Red! Sounds like some Badd Nooze-type delivery, here… This song sounds okay; nothin’ really special, here. Kinda sounds like ramblin’; I think that’s what y’all luv ta do now, right? My Rating: 3.7

½time: So far, it’s a decent CD; nothin’ I’m obsessed wit, yet, but it’s not wack. Matta fact, 3.6 iz tha CD rating, currently.

15. Sess 4-5 “So Much Money”
>>> VERY GAY HOOK/TOPIC!!! Was gonna try and tolerate it, but like Justine says, “Dump it!!” My Rating: 1.0

16. WeDatLoyalty “Knock It Off”
>>> Hmm, sounds fake ta me; sorry, I just can’t take tha “blood” shit serious, especially on a mainstream-soundin’, anthemic beat like this. Why does everyone “know some … niggaz”? I know no one!! My Rating: 1.0

17. Da U Boys “83”
>>> Not really into tha mainstream-soundin’ beat. Also, it’s boring fa a song/topic/delivery, overall. My Rating: 2.3

18. Ms. Tee “Wut’s Luv”
>>> Yes, a different vibe, finally!! Gotta feel tha bounce!! This CD needed an oasis in this desert of gettin’-money beats! Sometimes, tha bounce beats get boring afta a lil’ while, but this iz still nice ta hear. I like her singin’ throughout tha beat, sometimes, too… Oh, tha title took tha Tina Turner hook; kinda unoriginal fa me… My Rating: 3.8

19. Lil’ Razor Feat. Lil’ Dee “Fly Away”
>>> Okay, but iz that auto-tune, randomly? Skips! My Rating: 1.0

20. Big World Feat. Down Bad “Super Clean”
>>> Blast from tha past, here! Let’s see what 2012 sounds like… Piz Corleone on tha track; sounds good… Sounds good ta hear Big World, but why tha unenergetic flow? Where’s tha UGH, or tha UMMF, or tha AHHH?! Good parts from Terror & JR Dot, too. Too bad they’re quiet when gettin’ a hold of me when they have ta! Also, nice appearance from Cage! I wish Down Bad would quit bein’ quiet! Why iz quiet tha answer to bein’ cool? My Rating: 4.2

21. Tim Thugga Feat. K.Gates “That’s Fucked Up”
>>> Can’t give too much feedback ‘cause Tim Thugga wouldn’t dislike a video fa me that went against me when I asked him to, as well as no word on my awards, seven months later!! Well, this sounds good; betta than most on here. K.Gates sounds okay, but surprisingly, I have ta give it “up” ta Thugga, here; wow!! My Rating: 4.3

22. Turk Feat. Calico Jonez “I’m On”
>>> “Dump it!!” My Rating: 1.0

23. Fee Feat. Ray Vicks “Restless”
>>> A lil’ different wit dat background music bein’ sampled… Ehh, this iz okay; it’s tolerable… Tha sound iz what’s keepin’ my interest up. My Rating: 3.2

24. Dino Danja “Bitch-Ass Nigga”
>>> “This tha shit I don’t like;” didn’t that come from someone, like Drake? A lil’ typical wit tha flow, but tha rhymes sound good. Kinda random wit a freestyle, here. My Rating: 2.8

25. Spitta “All Around The Board”
Ewe, old! Why would you guys go back to that robbery, heroin-killing year of 2011 fa tha ‘12/‘13? My Current Rating: 4.4

26. Lil’ Mista “Bitch Bad”
>>> More randomness, which iz what I can expect from a lot of tha random artists on this mixtape… I guess, it’s a good song fa tha hoes, ‘90s baby style. My Rating: 3.8

28. Turk “Outro”
>>> Hope Turk’s upcomin’ music gon be good. I dunno if I’m anticipated fa anything new, though… My Rating: N/A

29. M-11 Spitta “M-11 Spitta”
>>> Anotha typical-soundin’, mainstream-like song, here… 2:30 went by, and I was lost in tha beat… My Rating: 2.0

Overall: Nothin’ really stood out fa me on this one. A lot of tha music sounded almost tha same. If not, there were trashy songs on here. I’m sure Vol. 11’s out by now (or soon). Guess I’ll have ta see if that has improvement. I also hate how everytime I review one of these N.O. To The B.R.s, there’s always someone on here that makes me feel uncomfortable. Like, they couldn’t do tha easiest favors for me, smh… That’s not how you gon get out tha south!!

Review #881: Da U Boys & The Show "Eastside Uptown"

Reviewed on 3.23.2011 (Review #881)

Review #3 fa today iz Da U Boys & The Show, an East Gang Music Group, Inc. and Rue Rois collaboration, wit Eastside Uptown! Start Time: 11:12 AM | End Time: 11:35 AM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. 01. Intro (Geeby Whop The Wire)
What’s this? >>> LOL @ tha intro and everyone talkin’; people are funny, ta me, fa easily bein’ able ta talk so much at one time. I was wonderin’, 25 seconds of silence? Then, it came back at :15 left. Then, it stopped outta nowhere, lol? My Rating: N/A

02. “Eastside Uptown”
>>> I’m likin’ how dis sounds fa a beginning; good collaboration for a mixtape collab! Tha hook sounds real nice between tha both of y’all wit tha “East Gang; Uptown” shit! Thumbs up fa Da U doin’ tha damn thang in tha beginning and fa Show fa takin’ ova tha 2nd ½ of tha song. My Rating: 4.3

03. “Check My Resume”
A longer song; how will y’all do? >>> Tha hook sounds catchy wit tha mysterious voice singin’ on tha hook; good song… Good rappin’, too, from Da U Boys; let’s see what Show has ta offer… He sounds a lil’ betta fa me. Dat beat tag dat’s repeatin’ sounds almost like Stevie Drumma’s, but it ain’t him. Thumbs up fa Show and his consistent rhymes! My Rating: 4.0

04. “I’m Ill” Feat. Strait Jigg
>>> Sounds familiar but then again, dat title’s, basically, tha Lil’ Wayne sample, which I hear/see a lot. Good thing it starts off wit Show; Show gives me a lil’ more anticipation, off top. Really feelin’ his consistent, kick-ass rhymes! For some reason, afta him, it’s soundin’ a lil’ boring fa me; I guess it’s dis beat? Prolly could’ve been a lil’ betta. Tha hook ain’t just tha Lil’ Wayne sample; sounds like some East Coast mixin’ in tha hook, too. Ooh, tha 2nd verse has a much betta sound than tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse; good rhymes/voice fa dis street shit. Tha 3rd verse sounds good wit tha “gangsta” shit when it comes ta how people try ta act like ‘em. Speakin’ of which, someone I talked to said, “I’m a gangsta; I’m outside all tha time,” and I was like, “WTF?” Like, c’mon. My Rating: 4.2

05. “N.O. Anthem” Feat. Strait Jigg
>>> Tha intro sounds like I gon look forward ta hear dis! Afta 31 seconds, tha hook slammed onto tha track, kickin’ major ass!!!!! This should sound tight on my radio show; crazy-ass “ward” representations in tha hook!! Tha rhymes in tha 1st verse are soundin’ pretty catchy; tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse are soundin’ 504ish, doin’ tha damn thang, here! Tha 2nd verse sounds good wit tha rhymes, too. Ooh, here comes Show on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit consistent rhymes and consistent street shit; thumbs up fa tha deliverin’!! My Rating: 4.7

½time: A 4.3-rated CD, thanx ta dat “N.O. Anthem”!! Keep up tha great work, guys!!

06. Interlude
>>> Good thing fa an “interlude”; y’all sound good wit tha talkin’. LOL, Show sounded like he blended in wit err-one’s voices; didn’t recognize him, at first, for a few seconds, lol. My Rating: N/A

07. “I Ain’t Shit” (The Show)
A solo from Show? Let’s hear dis! >>> Sounds familiar? Can’t find it in my iTunes but this sounds hot wit tha beat and tha consistent rhymes; a betta-soundin’ song fa a solo song from Show. My Rating: 4.3

08. “Warm It Up”
>>> Beat’s jacked? Didn’t expect dat; sounds like we’re in tha ‘80s/’90s, here. Anyway, tha rhymes sound good and consistent. Thumbs up ta tha good rappin’, U Boys! Show comin’ through wit even betta shit, as always! Tha fastness in tha beat helps; gotta luv all these rhymes!! My Rating: 4.2

09. “Wood Grain”
Looks like it gon be a jacked song? Let’s see… >>> Actually, no, lol, Logan On Tha Beat on tha beat, here. Tha hook’s cool wit tha Southern sample; you know what it iz wit dis… Good vibes from Da U Boys in tha beginning of tha rappin’, here; feelin’ tha “rollin’ down tha windows” part, although I’m jealous. It snowed a few inches, here, in Northeast PA, but was not-bad out, yesterday. :( Let’s see what Show has ta offer, here… Yea, thumbs down ta dat “oil spill.” :td Pretty consistent, although tha previous songs from Show were betta, surprisingly, and this iz more my style, lol. Thumbs up ta tha rest of dis, too, keepin’ tha vibe goin’. My Rating: 4.1

10. “Pick It Back Up” (Da U Boys)
Solo song from Da U Boys? Hope it’s catchy without Show… >>> I like dis; nice production, too. LOL, iz dis CD gonna be worth five stars from me, since all tha songs have 4.0+ ratings? Dat would be pretty shocking for an N.O. CD! Again, just like tha final verse of tha last song, this has good rhymes fa tha ladies, keepin’ tha vibe up. Tha 2nd verse keeps tha 1st verse’s content goin’, only wit a catchier, Juvie style! Tha 3rd verse iz good, too, wit tha way tha beat stays consistent. My Rating: 4.2

11. “Human Nature”
>>> Damn, kinda a fuck-up for tha ending wit this MJ-type shit. At least Show’s doin’ a nice job on tha 1st verse wit tha consistency, but I won’t let MJ let somethin’ have five stars from me, sorry. Damn, even tha sample’s in tha hook, too? I should just forget about dis and pretend it’s not here. Da U Boys are only aight fa me, though; a lil’ more mainstream? My Rating: 2.6

Overall: Real nice job, even though #11 got ta me. Still, prolly one of tha more-consistent, betta-soundin’ New Orleans CDs I’ve heard in tha longest time!

Rankings:

I know y’all did a nice job on tha previous CD I reviewed fa y’all earlier in tha year. Let’s keep tha hype up! >>> Yea, definitely soundin’ nice here; great hook! 02. “What Up”
>>> Sounds like it bound ta be anotha anthem! I’m likin’ how y’all sound on dis; sounds like y’all ballin’ and havin’ a good time; dat’s what’s up! Tha hook sounds good; “speedin’ up” wit progress! My Rating: 4.4

03. “Drop That Ass (UBoy Remix)”
>>> Oh, tha Juvie song, lol!! Definitely hot shit here, lol! Y’all doin’ a nice job on dis track, supportin’ Juvie in tha same way! Glad y’all doin’ dis remix; good shit… My Rating: 4.4

04. “No Subliminals”
>>> Sounds like a real hot hook! What hotness comin’ out here! Tha beat sounds like it’s ready ta explode, lol! It’s a Vybe beat and y’all got tha content on lock! “I’m used to tha real;” true, true! Good attitude and good shit y’all offerin’! My Rating: 4.6

05. “Long Time Comin’”
>>> Sounds like a good beat ta rap on; let’s hear what y’all got! Sounds catchy for tha hook; glad y’all “here,” doin’ tha damn thang! Not bad on tha rappin’, either. My Rating: 4.2

06. Interlude: Geeby Whop “The Wire”
What’s this? >>> This dude’s tellin’ it like it iz fa dem U Boys. Interestin’, lol. My Rating: N/A

07. “This How It Go” (Hick Louch Solo)
Let’s hear dis solo joint. >>> Sounds good as far as tha beat you finna rap on! Good job pickin’ anotha good Vybe beat; tha hook sounds good, too! Soundin’ good on dis shit; nice energy on tha flow! It’s all about showin’ luv ta tha streetz! My Rating: 4.3

½time: A 4.4-rated CD so far; keep it goin’, y’all!

08. “California Dreaming”
What do we got here? >>> Tha beat sounds pretty good fa what it originally was. Tha quality’s much louder/perfect, lol. I’m feelin’ tha street content; good job, guys. Definitely a plus wit how y’all reppin’ for tha streetz! This gives me a Curren$y vibe… LOL, random hook; fits fa tha song and what y’all spittn’. My Rating: 4.0

09. “I Got Y’all” (Rock Solo)
Anotha solo; let’s get it! >>> Feelin’ how you’re comin’ through on tha beat! Consistent rappin’, doin’ tha damn thang fa tha 504! I like this close enough to tha other solo joint but I think I’ll go wit Hick’s song bein’ betta; good representin’! My Rating: 4.2

10. “Untitled”
LOL, titleless… >>> Almost sounds like Mannie Fresh talkin’ in tha beginning. Y’all know what y’all doin’ on these Vybe beats; good shit! As always, tha shit y’all spit iz interestin’ and can get people ta listen! My Rating: 4.2

11. “Come N Go” (Strait Jigg)
This Jigg dude doin’ a song by himself; let’s hear it… >>> Sounds pretty good and sounds like it’s a borderline song fa tha East Coast or somethin’. Tha hook’s catchy and let’s see what he’s got… On a hunt fa tha “paper”, lol! Very consistent; likin’ how it keeps goin’ wit rhymes!! My Rating: 4.4

12. “Boyfriend (Remix)” (Na’Tee, Lanino & Princess D)
>>> Damn, what a horrible hook! How gay… Switchin’ it up, tha tightness of Na’Tee on tha 1st verse! Damn, as hot as she’s goin’, this iz gonna be my least-rated song ‘cause of dat gay-ass hook! Good shit, Na’Tee! Nice and consistent wit pure tightness!! Tha rest ain’t too bad; good thing tha verses aren’t gay. My Rating: 2.7

13. “Smile In Ya Face” (17th Snoop Solo)
>>> A slow beat but sounds good for tha hook. Not bad wit tha content, either. I’m likin’ dis beat dat you chose. My Rating: 3.8

14. “Rue Rois” Feat. Strait Jigg
Just like tha label name. >>> I’m really likin’ tha start! Definitely a nice way ta start dis joint off!! Energy iz a plus as well as y’all actin’ crazy on tha mic here!!! Great collaboration!! My Rating: 4.5

>>> Sounds good that it’s on tha beat, lol. Funny ending, lol; interestin’ dude… My Rating: N/A

Review #387: Da U "We All We Got"

Reviewed on 2.06.2010 (Review #387)

Time fa anotha review right nah, ya dig!! I got my radio show in three hours so you KNOW I gotta do somethin’ before then! This next CD I finna review iz from Da U (a.k.a. Da U Boys) wit their CD, We All We Got! Outta tha N.O., I don’t know exactly what ta expect but some greatness, hopefully! Here goes my review for Da U “We All We Got! Start Time: 2:56 PM | End Time: 3:51 PM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Questions”
Looks like an ending title for anything but it must wanna start this CD off fa some reason; lemme find out. >>> I can feel some good shit comin’ outta tha intro! Yea, there’s a Vybe beat!! Glad we got Vybe on tha beat here!! Tha 1st verse sounds good here; tight flow! Tha hook iz interestin’ too; gotta feel tha theme of “questions!” I’m hearin’ tha 2nd verse now and it’s off ta a good start. I’m assumin’ y’all were around for a while? Neva heard of y’all and I don’t think I have any of your CDs for my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon… It continues wit tha 3rd verse too, doin’ tha damn thang here for tha streetz! This was a GR8 start to this CD; glad y’all fuck wit Vybe!! My Rating: 4.4

02. “See No Evil” Feat. Jay Da Menace
Got a feature on here too; DEFINITELY lookin’ forward!! >>> Wow, what a HOT intro here wit tha beat!! Tha hook sounded REAL HOT wit tha title and err-thang!! Tha 1st verse iz off ta a REAL GR8 start wit tha content and err-thang!! Yea, I’m DEFINITELY visualizin’ “this shit in 3D!!” As GR8 as tha 1st verse was, tha 2nd verse DEFINITELY keepin’ it HOT here!! Here comes tha 3rd verse and you KNOW tha combination of err-body keepin’ this shit REAL HOT still!! Keep “holdin’ it down fa this street shit!” Tha outro sounded cool too wit tha talkin’. My Rating: 4.7

03. “Boyfriend”
I wonder how y’all sound on this? Not sure what I’ll exactly expect… >>> WTF’s up wit tha Auto-Tune start? I thought you said somethin’ in one of tha previous songs about, “This no Auto-Tune;” why now? Hook’s a lil’ gay. Tha 1st verse was short and just okay. Tha beat iz at least uptempo so there’s a small plus fa dat. Nothin’ much ta say about tha 2nd verse ‘cept it betta than tha 1st one. Tha 3rd verse sounds like it’s on tha “underwear” tip; lol? My Rating: 3.4

04. “Feel Me”
You KNOW I can “feel y’all” when it comes ta this Rap shit! >>> Yuck, from Auto-Tune ta a sample; not gonna be excited fa this… At least tha beat and tha rappin’ on tha 1st verse iz a plus; good shit. Tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse soundin’ good; likin’ those vocals! Tha next part afta tha 1st two parts sounds pretty good wit this beat kickin’ in. This was mainly a freestyle-type of track here. My Rating: 3.9

05. “We Do This” Feat. Jay Da Menace
I’m expectin’ a hot collaboration again! >>> Again, tha beat start iz pretty good fa this one too! Tha rappin’ on tha 1st verse sounds REAL, REAL TIGHT!!! Gotta luv tha fast-ass rappin’!!! Wow, ULTRA-FAST!!!!! VERY CRAZY 1ST VERSE; DEFINITELY ONE OF THA BEST IN A WHILE!!!!! What were there like 5,000 lyrics spit, lol?!? Tha 2nd verse sounded good but NOWHERE NEAR tha fast-assness!!! Tha 3rd verse iz soundin’ a lil’ betta than tha 2nd verse here! “Dreaded up;” that’s watz up! Glad y’all got GR8 “soulja” attributes!! I thought I was gonna hear tha hook again but it was just tha end of tha verse and it just faded-out. My Rating: 4.9

06. “Da U”
A self-titled single here; let’s see how y’all have tha name. >>> Sounds like a Vybe intro… Pretty good beat here and y’all representin’ here. Tha 1st part was good and I’m hearin’ tha 2nd part now (not sure if it’s considered tha same verse); gr8 shit bein’ spit. Tha 3rd part on this joint sounds pretty good also; nothin’ but hot shit! Tha ending sounds good wit tha “me, I’m tha ___” part. My Rating: 4.0

½time: Well, y’all are DEFINITELY watz up here!! Glad Jay helpin’ y’all out ‘cause tha ratings wit him are REAL HIGH now!! Keep doin’ tha damn thang wit y’all average CD rating at 4.2 right now!!

07. “Like Yeeah”
Looks like y’all ready wit this title! >>> Yea, a fast tempo beat here! Tha hook iz pretty catchy; sounds typical for a title like this. A lot iz goin’ on within tha 1st verse; all y’all members of Da U doin’ a nice job collaboratin’! Tha 2nd verse was pretty good; a whole lotta “like yeeah”s comin’ outta nowhere… Even a 3rd verse fit here… Nice contributin’ again; it doesn’t stop, lol! My Rating: 3.8

08. “Realshit!” (Strait Jigg)
Just one dude here? I wonder how he’ll do? I hope his name iz tight and not gay (meanin’ “do tha Stanky Legg”-type shit)! >>> Tha intro can be tight but can be stereotyped at tha same time… Okay, now dat I see tha title again, I don’t feel dat this’ll be gay; this’ll be “real!” Tha 1st verse iz off ta a good start… “Hollygrove” representa here! Ooh, tha hook DEFINITELY cool here wit tha “riggity—riggity—realshit!” Tha 2nd verse soundin’ good too, doin’ tha damn thang at all times! Glad he keepin’ it on a Louisiana level here! My Rating: 4.3

09. “I’ma Beast”
I have a feelin’ this’ll be good; I can feel it!! >>> A lil’ bit of Plies soundin’ like in tha beginning. Wow, REAL GLAD tha hook just kicked in; REAL, REAL TIGHT HERE!!! Of course, any title wit “beast” in it GOES HARD TO THA FULLEST!!! Sounds like there was a lotta talkin’ around tha 1:27 mark, lol. Either way, tha 1st verse DEFINITELY did tha damn thang here!! Tha 2nd verse was tough too; good shit to tha fullest!! Keepin’ it street once again in tha 3rd verse; y’all KNOW this shit tight to tha fullest!! I like tha “stupid-ass nigga” part at 3:51; y’all go hard at all times!! Yea, tha last 53 seconds I see has tha HOT beat sounds!! My Rating: 4.8

10. “Motivation”
Y’all got a WHOLE lotta this, ya dig!! >>> I don’t know what ta say yet as tha intro’s passin’ by… Tha 1st verse sounded pretty good though; like this beat too! Tha hook iz pretty good too; gotta feel what’s bein’ said! Tha 2nd verse has a nice perspective goin’ on here for tha streetz! Tha 3rd verse sounds pretty good too; no bullshit here! DEFINITELY good job done here!! My Rating: 4.3

11. “Keep Movin’” Feat. Mr. Meana & Young’n
This looks like a cool collab… I’m sure I gon like it! >>> A lil’ slower fa me… Tha beat sounds like T.I. “No Matter What” wit its sounds. Tha hook iz pretty good though so I’ll give dat a plus. What’s wit tha “Marcus Joe” thing/voice randomly appearin’? TIGHT “-ance” rhymes! It sounds gay wit dat voice randomly appearin’… Just like wit tha last song’s title, tha 2nd verse has motivation in it. Tha 3rd verse has a much-uplifted voice here! Good shit and now, tha shit continues wit tha dude dat sounds cool on tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse! Interestin’ lyrics here… My Rating: 3.7

12. “N.O. Murder Rate” Feat. Jay Da Menace & Mr. Meana
This iz tha last song… It has 5:34 on tha length so I HOPE y’all REALLY do tha damn thang here for an extended amount of time!! >>> …Ending it wit a jacked beat? How random of it ta be “Dem Boyz” from Boyz N Da Hood… Tha hook iz first and sounds good, N.O. style. Tha 1st verse did a nice job here, keepin’ it street! I like hearin’ all tha hoods/wards in tha hook. Tha 1st ½ of tha 2nd verse iz here and it sounds pretty good; keepin’ tha hot shit comin’!! There’s even a 2nd ½ of this 2nd verse, doin’ tha damn thang “on tha battleground!” Tha 3rd verse sounds like it has some visualization in it wit some bullshit dat’s gettin’ in tha way; thumbs up ta hearin’ about it! I like tha “*insert* Ward!!” shit towards tha end when it was fadin’ out too. My Rating: 4.2

Overall: This was DEFINITELY sum HOT SHIT from tha N.O.!! Glad ta hear a new N.O. CD that did tha damn thang here! I’m wishin’ y’all wit more success wit your HOT music; keep up tha gr8 work!
