Review #1,432: KarlWayne "2 Years Later"

Reviewed on 1.31.2015 (Review #1,432)

Got one more review b4 this month ends… I have to say, with tha reviewz I’ve been doin’ lately, there hasn’t been that many. Not only do I work a full-time job, but at tha same time, nobody fucks wit me, anymore. I mean, I’m super busy, but for those that say they fuck wit me, and I don’t get their music, it’s like, really? To me, that’s not defining true value of your product and you definitely don’t value me, whatsoever! So, lemme take it to an artist that values me. He sent me his CD on Facebook as soon as it came out, like a real artist from Louisiana should! I first heard him back on April 28, 2009, on fellow Gardererz, Yung Yola & D.$.G.’s 99 Wayz 2 Grind CD, back when he was known as K.O.. He was locked up at tha time and I would communicate with him while he was in jail. I used to manage his MySpace page, back when that was poppin’… Sponsored by Street Certified Muzic, here goes my review for KarlWayne 2 Years Later, and yes, it’s two years after he got outta jail, already! Oh, and, what’s tha “591799” on tha back cover? Start Time: 7:38 PM | End Time: 9:00 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

© 2015 CD Review (Review #1,432) reviewed on 1.31.2015 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Intro
Let’s see how we gon start this thang off… >>> Straight out tha jail cells… Live broadcast from tha pen? Quiet and anticipating! Tha clashing of tha cell doors remind me of tha Kings Park Psychiatric Center I visit on Long Island, NY, where you mysteriously hear tha doors clash! Yes, it’s haunted by ghosts! I have yet to get audio and witness a scream there, lol! My Rating: N/A

02. “How That Go”
Wonder what this gon be like, produced by Ruffin? >>> Hearin’ tha beginning beat sound and it’s soundin’ like those dayz when I used to always listen to Louisiana rap, lol… Beat’s definitely pure and on a Baton Rouge level; gotta feel it! Also, you’re doin’ a nice job wit tha hook; fuckin’ catchy, especially wit tha title repeatin’! Oh, seems like years ago when I was crazy about Baton Rouge and all dat, lol! Here you are on tha 1st verse and it sounds nice; I like how you say, “KarlWayne,” on tha adlib, twice! Gangsta shit, here; glad you got this quality and you know I had ta take tha time out ta review it, despite workin’ today and tomorrow, 4 – 11 AM! Here’s tha 2nd verse and you still bringin’ dat gangsta shit to tha table; nice! Diggin’ your aggressive attitude, here, as well; keep it goin’! Ooh @ tha beat stoppin’ @ 2:24 and you slaughterin’ tha beat; nice! My Rating: 4.8

03. “Rap Sheet”
Likin’ these titles, already! This one’s produced by TTyme; stylized like dat? Neva heard of ‘em… >>> Oh, so that’s your “DOC number;” I see… Beat sounds pretty nice; anotha pure-soundin’ track, once again! And, tha hook’s pretty nice, as well; thumbs up fa comin’ through wit an analysis of your “rap sheet!” Hearin’ tha 1st verse and I gotta dig how you cuttin’ ‘em, if they cross ya! Hope ya do dat fa me if I need a favor, ya dig? Consistent shit fa Baton Rouge; diggin’ dat sound you bringin’ to tha streetz of Gardere Lane! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too, strictly slaughterin’ ‘em wit dat gangsta shit, once again! My Rating: 4.5

04. “My Own” feat. Kam
A newbie with them producin’ tha track as well! I’m sure it bangz!! >>> Luv how your intros take a few seconds of quietness and then, they slam wit dat pureness! Hearin’ tha beat intro and it’s nice and quiet, here, wit a spooky, Baton Rouge-soundin’ start! Sounds like it’s tha ‘90s, undaground, Louisiana rap, here, wit this beat intro… Afta :49, we have tha hook: Kam iz a singer, here, and it’s soundin’ nice; I can dig it… Like I said, I feel like it’s tha ‘90s with Skull Duggrey or somethin’, wit how this sounds…! Now, here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some nice rhymes, tryna get outta dat jail cell; I feel ya! Tha 2nd verse sounds good; I’m diggin’ what you’re spittin’, here… Just try not ta get caught up too much in sendin’ R.I.P. shout outs, though; gotta keep it movin’… No 3rd verse, here; just a nice, long outro with Kam randomly singin’ notes and tha beat jammin’ nicely… My Rating: 4.4

05. “I Got It” feat. Menace & Gage
Neva heard of these dudes, luckily… Iz that you on tha production (listed as K.O., your former stage name)? Whateva this iz, I’m definitely anticipatin’ all tha unknown, though 5:30 on tha length? Can you pull through? >>> Definitely likin’ tha beat, here; catchy keys! Nice gangsta shit on tha hook, as you have “this tooley;” nice! Definitely diggin’ tha 2nd ½ of tha hook when you repeat tha title, with this beat pumpin’ in ya veins! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it sounds nice; diggin’ you and your consistent gangsta shit, as always! Hearin’ tha Menace dude on tha 2nd verse and it sounds like dat great shit from Baton Rouge/G-Lane dat I would luv, on a first listen! Nice shit; gotta luv tha hood of BR at all times! I don’t care who you iz; I got luv fa ya! Wit dat bein’ said, dat Menace dude go hard! Hope he goes far and hope we connect in tha future, on a serious note! Like, business-wise! Here comes Gage on tha 3rd verse, with a perfect way ta start tha verse off wit dis gun shit! His name says it all, so he here ta stay in tha hood! Nice reppin’ fa dem “treyz!” Catchy voice fa dis gangsta and I’m diggin’ how he has hunger and aggression in his voice; go, Gage! I do have ta say, fa 5:30 on tha length, this was nowhere near boring!! Y’all definitely held it down!! My Rating: 4.6

06. “EDDU” feat. J-Bae Bay-Bae
Not sure if I stylized his name right, but on DatPiff, this iz accidentally #7; I’m goin’ wit tha back cover for everything… “Jay Bae Bay” iz how he’s stylized on tha filename, but I’m goin’ wit tha back cover… Anyway, should be real nice wit Ruffin on tha beat! Think this tha 1st official song I’ve heard wit “EDDU” in tha title? Definitely lookin’ forward but before I get into it, lol, I can just imagine tha people up here, if they hear me say dat; they’d be so shocked, lol! I’m a Shift Leader and a Music Leader; they won’t catch on for years! I mean, we’re already years into EDDU, too! >>> I like tha lil’ talkin’ in tha beginning wit your Baton Rouge-born voice and shit; nice… Tha beat’s definitely pure, once again! LOL, what a hook; gotta feel it! Thought it was more of a threat, but it’s more of a sexual thang, here! Gotta luv how you repeat tha 2nd ½ of tha hook wit tha title; gotta keep goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’, lol!! Here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some nice shit, just engagin’ in dem X-rated activities! Sounds nice on this beat; I’ll keep followin’ you! You don’t need 100,000 followers; you’re fine tha way you are, right now, as far as your status! Hearin’ this Jay dude on tha 2nd verse and he sounds good; catchy voice and yeah, he said it: “JayDae Baby!” LOL, tha 3rd hook ain’t do tha repeatin’, but had Jay go, “Eat up…! Eat up…!” ROFL @ you at tha end, in your regular, calm voice: “Aight… Aight…” My Rating: 4.4

07. “Ain’t Coming Down” feat. Vicboi
B-Mayne (dash or no dash?) on tha beat, here, with a nice-lookin’ collab ta anticipate! >>> Definitely purer than pure wit tha beat start, here; gotta anticipate it!! Gotta luv how there’s Baton Rouge injected in tha beat at all times!! It’s like a heavy dose!! Wit dat bein’ said, we have a nice hook from Karl, here; sounds catchy! Vicboi on tha 1st verse and he’s doin’ a nice job wit tha rappin’, here; just luv dat southern style in his voice! Here you are on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit dat shit we gotta hear! Glad you always keep it G, and I must admit, seven songs in, and I’m so glad you’re not braggin’ about money or any of dat bullshit! So glad fa dat!! No wonder why I’m enjoyin’ this review so much!! Ooh @ 2:35; luv how tha beat just stopped fa a sec. and you continued on! My Rating: 4.4

08. “Iron” feat. Needy Nee
Accidentally #11 on tha DatPiff tracklisting… Anyway, Ruffin doin’ tha beat, this time, and I’m anticipatin’ this one! Prolly a G-Lane G song wit tha beat slammin’ in ya in an addictive way!! >>> Dat Baton Rouge quality in tha beat dat I luv; nice job, once again, Ruffin!! Future producer; just don’t sell out!! Ooh, much catchier than I thought this was gon be!! Just luv when you repeat tha title on tha 2nd ½ of tha hook; that’s tha key fa a catchy-ass Baton Rouge song!! Fuck, your CD jammin’ soooooooooo hard!!! And, we got Needy on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some gutta shit fa this G-Lane! Now, she’s entered her 30’s, keepin’ it goin’! Can’t believe she was only 24 when I first heard her; where’d tha time go? Here you are on tha 2nd verse and you got this G-shit goin’ on, non-stop! Great job wit tha verse, but that fuckin’ hook’s soooooooooooooooo addiiiiiiiiiictiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive!!! Just luv dat 2nd ½ of it!!! My Rating: 4.9

½time: Whoo, this CD’s too jammin’!!! Just really luv how you bring your A-game at all times, here!! Tha production iz so on an A+ level; A++!!! Almost all of your features I’ve neva heard before, and all dem dudes go hard!!! And, most importantly, you got some tight-ass verses, as well as some addictive, catchy-ass hooks!!! Keep it up, bruh! You’re at a hot 4.6 for tha CD rating, currently; pure rating!!!

09. “So Dumb” feat. Vicboi & Needy Nee
Again, it says that K.O. produced tha track… Either way, I’m anticipatin’ this collab, as well! >>> Sounds like a Baton Rouge hood anthem; gotta rep fa dem hoodz! Might’ve remembered this from a sample you might’ve given me, at times, last year; nice shit! Tha hook’s catchy wit this beat; gotta luv how you holdin’ G-Lane down to tha fullest! This gotta be tha hottest CD of 2015; props fa startin’ tha year off real nice!!! Here you are on tha 1st verse and you’re comin’ through wit some catchy shit; you’re real sick wit it, makin’ me nod my head non-stop! Keepin’ this shit goin’ wit Vicboi on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some catchy shit! Dat voice definitely holds tha hoods of Gardere down!! “I really do my shit;” always! And yea, “Ain’t no pussy in dat click,” when it comes to dat Lane! I mean, there’s only two that are pussy ta me. One’s all stuck-up, stubborn and afraid of BPMs, while there’s anotha one who randomly deleted me and unfollowed me from Facebook, Twitter & Instagram all ‘cause I sent them their awards. It’s like, really? Can’t get any mo “pussy” than dat!! Back to tha positive, here: Needy on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through, consistently rippin’ up tha track on this beat!! Wow, neva stoppin’ anytime soon!! Wow, she just keeps goin’ and goin’ and goin’!! That was definitely a nice and consistent verse!!! My Current Rating: 4.7
EDIT: Forgot I reviewed this on tha I Love My Hood mixtape…

10. “Ride Or Die”
I have ta say, my back’s killin’ me while I’m doin’ this review. However, tha music’s too tight to where I continue without stoppin’! This next one’s produced by C Nile; can’t wait ta hear it!! >>> A fade-in intro? Awkward, but tha beat sounds pretty nice, and it’s only 2:32 on tha length… Likin’ tha beat, here; only one verse this gon be? Catchy hook; gotta hold onta KarlWayne, ya dig? Hearin’ tha verse and it sounds nice; great-soundin’ song fa somethin’ a lil’ slower… My Rating: 4.2

11. “Up There”
I know I reviewed this one last year, on that one compilation disc you were featured on. I remember this bein’ so catchy… What I had said, previously: Nice beat from Nunu James, and here’s Karl on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit a crew! Feels great ta hear this and now that I’m actively hangin’ out, I can feel tha whole crew-like rhymes of havin’ multiple people witchu! Tha hook ain’t “bullshit;” it just sounds catchy, and a lot catchier wit tha “fuck that, get it up there” shit that repeats!! Great “shit!” Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty nice, too! Nice reppin’, my boy! My Current Rating: 4.6

12. “Some More” feat. Ryco Hu$$le & Big June
K.O. production. And, to go with what I said before, make it 3: Not really likin’ that Ryco ain’t “wanna be a part of hearin’ why B-Real ruined my Louisiana passion.” It’s like, you can’t be afraid! That’s why, I’m a Shift Leader! And, I take risks, not hide away! Anyway, lemme see what we got, here… >>> Really likin’ tha beat start, here; nice hook from you, too, K.O., lol! Diggin’ how you on a mission fa “mo!” Tha 1st verse sounds pretty nice, here; props fa holdin’ tha hood down, as always! Hearin’ tha 2nd from Ryco… it’s acceptable, except these stupid-ass “money” obsessions; that don’t go wit this CD! It’s not like I’m gettin’ any or any music, anyway, so I could give a fuck less! Only 24 seconds left and there’s a 3rd verse: Big June (an “E” missing on tha back cover?)… He sounds nice on this shit; great shit fa only 24 seconds! My Rating: 4.2

13. “Ask About Me” feat. BluBlack
Previously reviewed… A Q-Red-produced track, here. Though I still resist leaving feedback (like, it’s more normal for an actual penis to randomly appear), I think this sounds good, as always. Nice job wit you on tha hook; hook almost sounds a lil’ like some older tracks from others, but you gotta feel it! Here you are on tha 1st verse, too, comin’ through, spittin’ in a great, post-jail kinda way! Lots of “eat dat dick up” shit ‘round 1:19; gotta threaten ‘em wit your “dick.” Got Blu on tha 2nd verse, and he sounds real great, as always! Really diggin’ that he always still smokes, as well as feelin’ like tha coolest dude in dat Lane! My Current Rating: 4.4

14. “Bodied” feat. G-Lane Steve
A Hammer-produced track, here; don’t think I’ve eva heard of him… Also, this should be a nice collab wit tha Stevenson on tha feature, lol… >>> Definitely diggin’ tha slow, creepy-soundin’ beat intro!! It got louder once tha hook came in, and this sounds nice! Diggin’ tha hook, as you hold it down to tha fullest! Gotta luv how G-Lane Steve starts tha 1st verse off wit dem “chewies” and shit like dat! Good shit, tha whole way ‘round… Here you are on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some nice shit, as always! Gotta luv how you holdin’ it down fa tha gangstaz at all times! And, this beat definitely goes great with it! What tha hell? What happened? There’s 24 seconds of silence at tha end; why, lol? My Rating: 4.3

15. “Bitch Do” feat. J-Bae Bay-Bae
Back to this anticipatin’ feature and Ruffin on tha beat; whoot, whoot!! >>> Beat sounds catchy; it sounds less-energetic than other tracks he’s produced but it’s still nice. Tha hook sounds catchy wit this title and all this shit repeatin’; “ride dat dick,” lol… Nice job wit tha hook and 1st verse, so far, Mr. JayDae… He holdin’ it down witchu, creatin’ some catchiness… And, here you are on tha 2nd verse, wit your “Tolerance on zero;” gotta feel it! LOL @ strokin’ tha “pistol;” you know! Damn, 12 seconds of silence at tha end… My Rating: 4.3

16. “Fucked Up” feat. Needy Nee
Ooh, tha “Up There” producer on this (Nunu James); can’t wait ta hear this one, too! >>> Beat sounds pretty nice; great sound, once again! LOL, I tried to guess tha hook and say, “You got me fucked up;” I was close, lol! It’s, “Bitch, you got me all tha way, all tha way, all tha way fucked up!” Nice job wit tha hook and you holdin’ down tha 1st verse, as well; good shit! Now, we got Needy on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit great shit, once again! It’s all about lettin’ out tha inner-gangsta in ya! LOL, she sure shoved in tha final bar of her verse, lol! My Rating: 4.2

17. “Out My Top” feat. Bizzak Man & C4
Endin’ it wit a K.O. production… C-4 (with a dash) iz a group consisting of Piper, Ryco Hu$$le & Trouble T. However, just got a friend request from this C4 (without tha dash), also from BR! Regardless of anything, I’m anticipated ta hear this four-minute track wit Bizzak on tha feature! >>> Whoa @ tha beginning beat; kinda shocked me outta nowhere wit its distortion! Holy, distortion; luv it!! Wait, it’s really, actually fucked up!! Even when I try and listen to it on DatPiff, tha audio’s all fucked…! Wow, what happened to tha file? At least I can hear it… As far as tha hook, it’s pretty nice how y’all “out [y’all] top!” Iz dat Bizzak on tha hook? That gon be my guess? Here you are on tha 1st verse and it sounds great wit all tha “bruh” parts; nice! You did a nice job deliverin’ tha 1st verse! If I had ta guess tha 2nd verse, it’s Bizzak? LOL, it’s so distorted… I’m diggin’ this gangsta perspective on tha 2nd verse, though… Tha 3rd verse sounds okay, as well, here… My Rating: 4.3

Overall: Well, I have to say, this was a really-impressive CD, Mr. KarlWayne!! You’ve neva been soft or even average; every song I’ve heard from you’s had, mainly, original production, as well as it bein’ a hot banga!! You’ve neva disappointed me and this whole entire CD definitely went hard!! Tha 1st ½ struck me more, but you kept tha consistency goin’, as well as keepin’ me awake! Props fa doin’ dat!! Good job wit most of tha features and 95% of tha producers!! Keep up tha great work, my boy!!

Review #1,414: Street Certified Muzic Presents "I Love My Hood (Da Mixtape)"

Reviewed on 8.10.2014 & 8.11.2014 (Review #1,414)

Got one more review before a record label comes to visit me! This review gon be my 1,414th review: Street Certified Muzic Presents I Love My Hood (Da Mixtape)! A label by KarlWayne from G-Lane, this looks like it gon be a Gardere Lane compilation? I will find out when I review this! But, real quick: This ain’t sellin’ any copies in tha hood? Tha total length of tha CD’s 1:20:06, only six seconds longer than tha maximum CD length! What gives? Start Time: 9:59 PM | End Time: 7:50 AM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by two artists who claimed their “money [was] long,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

01. Jigg-Three Feat. Lil’ Josh “My Neighborhood”
Looks like this gon be great ta start this off! Who iz this Josh? This ain’t tha “Jigga Juice” one, iz it? >>> A real-nice hook!! Definitely feelin’ this beat and this G-Lane vibe! LOL, tha dayz of when I fucked wit Louisiana music tough; surprised niggaz still fuck wit me… But, mentionin’ tha label, I think there’s true luck wit reviewin’ G-Lane CDs before real-great moments occur! Like, I reviewed tha The Big Picture CD, and I got called in for my 1st job interview tha next day, which later became my job! Now, I’m reviewin’ this and tomorrow, a label’s comin’ ta do a magazine article on me!! Hearin’ tha 1st verse (Lil’ Josh?) and it’s tight; great vibes fa tha 225! That hook’s just so catchy wit tha “In my neiiiighborhooood” shit repeatin’! Tha 2nd verse has a nice voice and shit goin’ on. However, it sounds a lil’ off-beat throughout tha 1st part of tha verse… A long beat outro, here; nice ta have… My Rating: 4.6

02. BluBlack Feat. Hannibal & Ar’Jay “F.W.M.”
That “Don’t F.W.M.” song? *Checks* Yup, with Ar’Jay on this joint, too. My Current Rating: 3.4

03. KarlWayne “Up There”
Neva gave any of your post-jail songs a review, other than “I’m Thugging”, which debuted on my playlist a year ago today; crazy! So, I’m lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this and givin’ it an actual review! >>> Nice tease in tha beginning, as well as tha “General” dude creatin’ an intro! Nice beat from I dunno who, but here’s Karl on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit a crew! Damn, mixin’? Must be mixed by someone like Chilly Chill or somethin’? Sounds like those kinda effects; weird how I remember ‘em from at least a ½ decade ago! Nice reppin’, my boy! My Rating: 4.4

04. Lil’ Josh “Street Nigga”
Yeah! >>> Interestin’ beat; beat seems a lil’ slower than a faster G-Lane vibe… “I don’t give a fuck if they sign me;” a nice, underground perspective, here. I’ve always felt tha same way about myself; I’ve neva wanted to blow up. This label comin’ to interview me tomorrow’s a great opportunity; I dunno what’ll happen! Exposure’s great, though I always wanna be an undaground nigga. Tha 1st verse sounds pretty good, here; props fa Josh fa representin’! Tha 2nd verse has G-shit in it; diggin’ it… My Rating: 4.0

05. Drien Feat. KarlWayne “Play With Me”
Looks anticipatin’… >>> Nice screwed sample on tha hook about bein’ a “gangsta!” Hearin’ Drien on tha 1st verse, and it almost sounds like that Young Maniac dude, I think? It’s been a minute… As for me hearin’ this, it sounds pretty nice… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse (KarlWayne?) and it’s just as good; really diggin’ tha G-shit in tha rhymes! Can’t escape dat “choppa!” My Rating: 4.2

06. Beezy Bird Feat. BluBlack & Needy Nee “Bring ‘Em Out”
Yeah!! >>> Sounds kinda good in tha beginning, except tha “money long” shit… Hearin’ Beezy on tha 1st verse, and it sounds like tha good ol’ times of me bein’ 20 & 21, when I used to fuck wit G-Lane tha most. Diggin’ how he brought back tha “I’m drinkin’, and I’m smokin’” shit that Down Bad had; way ta go, Beezy! You still a real-cool dude! Got Blu on tha 2nd verse; still soundin’ good wit his delivering-“X” rhymes! He even said, “Fulla dem pillz;” yay @ 28! Keep poppin’! I’m now 26 and I’m finally hangin’ out at least once a week, includin’ gettin’ fulla dat shit! Needy slipped in on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse; sounds good fa these Gardere streetz… My Rating: 4.3

07. Yola No Soda “Trap House”
New name? You know how he does! So great to get high at least once a week, now-a-dayz! I can’t believe I did today, worked, and have been up since 3:14 AM—that’s 19 hours, without a nap!! Lots of motivation and perseverance!! >>> Not much time on this track, here, but it’s soundin’ good fa a start. That mixin’ can get confusing in tha beginning, between playin’ parts and rewindin’ it back. Anyway, tha 1st verse’s pretty good, and tha hook sounds catchy, especially fa tha “trap!” How can you not luv Yola? Tha 2nd verse starts off good wit “eatin’ stuffin’ every day like it’s Thanksgiving.” Consistent rhymes; gotta luv err-thang that comes outta his mouth! My Rating: 4.5

08. Bando Bert Feat. Jigg-Three “Trap”
Lookin’ forward ta this collab, too!! >>> Beat sounds a lil’ different, here, still with a club vibe, and it’s nice. Tha hook’s pretty catchy; really diggin’ that voice! Delivery’s catchy as fuck, once again! Tha 2nd verse’s great; really diggin’ this voice, once again! Sounds great wit this delivery; oh, I fuckin’ luv it!! Gonna be close between tha Yola song and this; who will win tha tie-breaker? My Rating: 4.5

09. Kris “Boot Nigga”
Small name; could lead to a lot? >>> A female? Sounds like a watered-down version of what could be bounce music, but tha rappin’ on tha 1st verse ain’t too bad… Tha hook’s straight; likin’ tha repetitive parts… Now, tha 2nd verse sounds more feminine? Iz a feature missing? Anotha decent verse… Tha 3rd verse iz whateva, too; a lil’ boring, but it’s somethin’ that’s listenable and okay, at least. My Rating: 3.5

10. Bizzak Man Feat. KarlWayne & Vic Boi “Mind Right”
Here’s Bizzak (spelled like that, I was originally told? Y’all have it as “Blizack”, lol…), with a nice lineup! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this joint! >>> Kickin’ it off wit a KarlWayne verse; pretty nice! Catchy rhymes wit his “mentality!” Some singin’ on tha hook (Bizzak?)? Interestin’ catch to this track; props fa tha cool voices! Here’s tha 2nd verse (Vic Boi?), comin’ through wit a lotta “blue-black” references, lol. Yeah, it now sounds like a Bizzak Man verse, on tha 3rd verse, here! Lots of catchy rhymes; sounds like tha hidden Baton Rouge version of Stalley, with tha delivered rhymes, here! Nice job, overall! My Rating: 4.2

½time: So far, pretty nice and consistent! Really diggin’ how theres’s so many different artists, on tha tracks! Big ups to err-body on this CD, comin’ through wit their great voices, deliveries and song styles! Tha average CD rating’s at a 4.2, currently; how will it end, lol? I hate to cut it short fa a sec, but I’m really tired, and need to lay down fa a lil’ bit… Takin’ a break at 10:43 AM, almost 19 ½ hours to tha minute! We’ll see what time I wake up! *Takes break* Damn, I had a broken-up sleep, tha whole time; I couldn’t stay up, so it’s now 7:07 AM on August 11… Either way, I’m glad I’m awake, though I got only five hours ‘til my special visit!

11. G-Lane Steve Feat. KarlWayne “Window”
Don’t think I’ve heard of tha main artist, though I think we might be Facebook friends… >>> Sounds like mo great shit from tha undaground; nice beginning, though I still don’t think that’s cool mixing, by providing a sneak peek in tha beginning. That shit started on Lil’ Phat’s Death Before Dishonor and should’ve just ended there! Feelin’ this hook wit tha whole “peekin’ out tha window” shit! And, tha 1st verse’s kinda dry on tha delivery. Also, bad mixing from 1:10 – 1:19; sounded like skipping, instead. Shit @ 1:40 – 1:48 wit tha mixing, again! I don’t mind tha rapper on tha 1st verse, but he doesn’t have any energy in his voice… LOL @ Mr. Karl on tha 2nd verse, “Duckin’ from tha cops.” LOL, if you’re me, on dat kush, and you’re roamin’ around an abandoned area, you see a cop outside, and you just pull your camera out; worked fa me! Just act like you’re gettin’ footage! No wonder why I’m a Lucky Dog! Shit @ 3:12 – 3:20; stupid ‘skip-mixin’’! My Rating: 4.3 (a generous rating ‘cause of tha catchy hook)

12. Ryco Hu$$le Feat. Piper Rogers “I Kept Quiet”
Name changes, here: Ryco Hu$$le originally went by D.$.G., and Piper Rogers was just Piper. Both of them were a part of tha group, C-4. Now, here’s a portion! >>> This one starts off not blended, which sounds betta… “No regrets;” that’s right, even wit tha continuous amount of shit I’ve dealt with! I guess all that shit I dealt with lead up to tha label visiting me? Either way, hearin’ Hussle on tha hook and all this “I do it all again” shit sounds good; catchy hook… Hearin’ tha 1st verse, and I’m diggin’ tha street vibes from him; you know what it iz… Catchy rhymes; didn’t sound like typical shit err-body else spits, so I appreciate him fa bein’ in a different lane, but stayin’ in dat Lane! On tha 2nd verse, too? I must’ve forgot about Piper’s voice (unless he’s on tha hook?)… Either way, this was before Yola got released, accordin’ ta tha “Free Yola” shit. Glad this anotha good verse, too; can’t complain… My Rating: 4.2

13. KarlWayne Feat. BluBlack “Ask About Me”
Should be interestin’! >>> A Q-Red-produced track, here. Though I still resist leaving feedback, I think this sounds good, as always. Nice job wit Karl on tha hook; hook almost sounds a lil’ like some older tracks from others, but you gotta feel it! Here’s Karl on tha 1st verse, too, comin’ through, spittin’ in a great, post-jail kinda way! Lots of “eat dat dick up” shit ‘round 1:19; gotta threaten ‘em wit your “dick.” LOL, I was playin’ beer pong yesterday, and if I didn’t get one in before my opponent got all tha balls in, I had to run naked outside. I would’ve done it, but I wound up gettin’ three in, lol. Then, my opponent wound up not gettin’ one in when versin’ someone else, and nearly went naked, lol! Got Blu on tha 2nd verse, and he sounds real great, as always! Really diggin’ that he always still smokes, as well as feelin’ like tha coolest dude in dat Lane! My Rating: 4.4

14. B-Porter “My Side Of The City”
Don’t think I’ve eva heard of this dude, but am lookin’ forward! >>> A nice track to rap on, though a lil’ dry on tha voice/delivery, once again… Sounds more quieter than usual, wit tha voice, too… Not much of a transition from tha 1st verse to tha hook… Weak transition, but a somewhat-catchy hook; so far, a good, decent joint, here. Tha 2nd verse sounds a lil’ betta. Damn, this joint’s 4:52? I dunno why it has ta be so long; prolly could’ve subtracted a verse? Tha 3rd verse’s start has a betta transition from tha hook ta start it off; not bad… “April 17, 1991,” I see? A lil’ younger than me… My Rating: 3.7

15. KarlWayne “Thuggin’”
And, here it iz, with tha now-shortened title as “Thuggin’”, lol. Here’s what I had to say when it appeared on my 15th mixtape compilation:
Formerly known as K.O., and produced by Q-Red, here. Even got a lil’ music video online, too, so that’s what’s up! Nice lil’ comeback, here, strictly “thugging” in dat Gardere! I like that, “Man, I’m thugging,” random part ‘round 2:01. Go, K.O.—I mean, KarlWayne, lol! Strictly vibin’ off this Q-Red beat! I like how he ended it wit, “I’m thugging!” My Current Rating: 4.5

16. Needy Nee Feat. KarlWayne “Wrong Dude”
Let’s see, here… >>> Nice beat fa Needy ta rap on; sounds pretty intense, and one of tha best beats on here! LOL, nice hook; sounds like that old club shit from back in tha day! And now, I believe this month, Needy reaches 30; glad she still goin’ fa dat Lane! LOL, almost thought it was Blu on tha 2nd verse, but it’s Karl, comin’ through wit some catchy rhymes, once again! Glad he all ova this; Street Certified Muzic-representin’ at its finest! My Rating: 4.4

17. Zipp Johnson Feat. KarlWayne & Obeeze “Friends/Enemies”
Y’all spelled “enemies” as “enimies,” lol… Looks like a nice collaboration; don’t think I’ve heard tha Zipp dude, yet! >>> Q-Red beat, once again; guess that’s how tha rest of this CD gon be? Catchy hook: “Friends become enemies;” I just titled it with a slash ‘cause it was a compound word in tha mp3 file… Either way, pretty nice; I feel tha energy in this voice, here! Good job from this Zipp (newbie) fa me! Kinda sounds a lil’ bit like Beezy Bird, too…; lots of “friends” collaborations, it seems like? LOL @ how KarlWayne starts tha 2nd verse: “Ol’ faggot-ass, coward-ass, bitch-ass nigga;” dumb shit! And, it’s true ta anyone that ain’t thank me fa awards and deleted me, instead; how fucked up! Just happened a few dayz ago, too! Then again, sendin’ awards ta niggaz’ll really over; thank God I don’t have to waste my money, anymore! Let’s hear this Obeeze verse on tha 3rd verse… Sounds great and consistent; can’t complain! Hard ta believe it’s been six years since G-Lane Vol. 1 and tha “Go Hard N Da Paint” dayz! My Rating: 4.5

18. Big Jun Feat. G-Lane Steve & KarlWayne “Wetup”
“Wet”? LOL; neva heard of tha Jun dude, too! >>> Okay, more on tha shoot-ya side, here; a pretty-good hook… Here’s tha 1st verse, wit “glue on [their] hands;” nice… “I smoke too much weed;” already! When it’s my turn ta hit, I usually neva turn any of it down! Nothin’ betta than bein’ in tha zone! Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty nice wit tha “put this metal to ya mouth, but I ain’t talkin’ braces” line, in tha beginning! Definitely feelin’ tha G-shit fa tha G-Lane, here! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and I can’t tell who’s where, except Karl on tha 2nd verse; I think tha ID has to be flipped, a lil’? Or, does it? “Peel yo shit back: Mr. Potato Head!” Nice! My Rating: 4.1

19. Yola No Soda Feat. KarlWayne “Fuck A Nigga”
Looks like this gon be good…!! >>> Sounded a lil’ familiar wit tha beat, at first, but this iz pretty jammin’ wit tha start! Really diggin’ how Yola comin’ through on tha hook, straight puttin’ tha middle finga up, consistently! Nice shit on tha 1st verse from Yola, too; can’t get in his way! Tha cool thing about work now iz that I’m five years older than most, there, feelin’ like Yola wit me. I say that ‘cause Yola five years older than me, so it’s a great 3-8-3 effect (our years born), lol; I’m in tha middle! Karl on tha 2nd verse, here; pretty short verse, but it’s nice ta collab wit Yola, doin’ tha damn thang! My Rating: 4.7

20. KarlWayne Feat. Vic Boi & Needy Nee “So Dumb”
Y…U…P…! >>> An acapella start from Karl; nice wit all tha “dumb” parts! Tha beat start and intro sounds good! LOL, this mixtape lost its mixin’ outta nowhere; really glad fa that, but who knew, lol? Tha hook sounds good; I can feel tha energy, luckily, not thinkin’ that you’re just in a booth barely movin’ while recordin’ it! Here’s Karl on tha 1st verse, sneakin’ tha “Nina” in; uh-oh! He feelin’ good/cool, here! Oh, and Karl, luckily, just a few weeks ago, I got my head outta tha DJ B-Real gutter, thanx ta hangin’ wit one of my friends from work! Who knew? Someone from where I live at, who’s one decade, one month & one day younger than B-Real would shift my attention fa tha betta? Anyway, hearin’ Vic on tha 2nd verse, and it sounds pretty good; consistent “Lane” reppin’, here! Sounds jammin’ on this beat; gotta feel y’all! Got tha 3rd verse from Needy, here, comin’ through wit consistent rhymes; feelin’ how she comin’ through! “Eat you up like an entrée;” nice! My Rating: 4.3

21. Lil’ Kev Feat. G-Lane Steve & Big Wayne “Eye Watching”
Endin’ wit an interestin’ collab; don’t think I heard of tha Kev dude, too! >>> LOL @ tha start; even got Big Wayne in tha background! Sounds like somethin’ from a long time ago? I just think of that ‘cause I know Big Wayne’s really in tha Boosie mode, now-a-dayz. Tha hook sounds pretty nice; serious shit, even though Big Wayne sounds off-beat, at times? I dunno, but he sounds on-beat on tha 1st verse, here, comin’ through wit nice energy! He even repped you: “G-Lane Steve;” you know what it iz… Then again, he called himself “DJ Big Wayne;” lol, sounds like a teenage throwback? Tha ’07 dayz? One thing that would be missin’ if it was an ’07 throwback iz Big Wayne’s old, fast beat pattern… Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good, here; I’m diggin’ it… Though I don’t mind “eyes watching” me, when it comes ta what I do, I have ta admit, I don’t like if “eyes” are “watching,” ready ta confront me; that’s my autistic backlash? Then again, we can all be anti-social? Big Wayne on tha 3rd verse, as well? Shouldn’t it be his song as tha main artist, if he on here tha most? “I’m Coogi-down wit Levi’s;” nice! It’ll neva be outdated fa me! I be wearin’ Levi shoes, at tha moment, and I still appreciate dat Coogi! My Rating: 4.4

Overall: Time fa tha label!! Oh, only four hours left to prepare! Real exciting! Anyway, a pretty nice, undaground mixtape, here! I definitely appreciate all tha unknown people, as well as it reppin’ tha whole G-Lane! Props fa KarlWayne and Street Certified Muzic fa puttin’ this together!

R.I.P. Video #32: O.G. Michael Green

Recorded May 12, 2014

From my roof in Peckville, PA, it's FrankieThaLuckyDog here, reporting another loss in tha Louisiana rap community. Michael Green, who rapped under tha name, "O.G. Michael Green," was pronounced dead from drowning, on tha afternoon of Saturday, May 3, 2014. Green was carrying his six-year-old nephew on his shoulders near tha pool at tha Broadmoor Plantation apartments, located off Florida Boulevard in Baton Rouge. According to police, at about 2 PM, tha two fell into tha pool. Witnesses jumped into tha pool, pulled both Green and his nephew out, and began to perform CPR. Once paramedics arrived and took both of them to a nearby hospital, Green's nephew was expected to survive. However, Green was pronounced dead. He lived to only see 24, and would've turned 25 this December 14.

Green was from Gardere Lane (G-Lane) in Baton Rouge, LA. He was a member of Three Way Entertainment (3Way Ent.), with Vic Boi & J-Roc. Signed with Gardere Gorilla Gang Music Group (GGGMG), their Unsigned Hype disc has been in tha works since 2011, and has yet to be released.

Memories:
While on Long Island, NY, back on August 5, 2011, at 12:10 AM, Green discovered me by adding me on Facebook. Six dayz later, Green & I chopped it up, only once. Though following me on Twitter and recently following me on Instagram, I neva got ta hear any of Green's music, which I had also given him my email.

Terrible that this iz tha first drowning I've reported, in tha undaground, Louisiana rap community. Can't even imagine how you can lose your life in tha blink of a second! Let's all be cautious, at all times! I'm FrankieThaLuckyDog, livin' and appreciatin' each day at a time!

Review #1,126: Tim Thugga & Beezy Bird "The Best In The Business Vol. 1"

Reviewed on 1.19.2012 (Review #1,126)

Got my final review for today (it’s only 10:24 AM, right now) ‘cause I got an interview to do, beats I have to produce for my college’s news segment, a meeting I have to go to (to fight a grade), a quiz I have to study for, and a class. But, lemme get into this: Tim Thugga & Beezy Bird The Best In The Business Vol. 1 (Hosted by Go DJ Chilly Chill). Been anticipatin’ this! Even though it doesn’t say “Vol. 1” on tha front cover, I know it iz. Plus, izn’t this wit tha label Real Street Music? I’m basin’ that off of tha promo disc’s front cover… But, it’s Janis Joplin (R.I.P. 42 years)’s birthday today, so any insecure feelings I get from this review, I’m not gonna hold back on lettin’ ‘em out! Start Time: 10:31 AM | End Time: 11:40 AM

If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. Intro Feat. DJ 5150, Big Jay & FrankieThaLuckyDog
What a lineup, especially me bein’ in tha 1st of 17 on tha CD!! I feel honored, but wasn’t there ‘pose to be a back cover? *Checks* I see it as a hard copy in Tim Thugga’s pics, but not online? Oh well, I’ll just use what y’all put on DatPiff for tha tracklist. Once again, my name iz all one word, no spaces. >>> Nice beat goin’ on; didn’t expect one… DJ 5150’s first; no comment on most of what he said, except for “Tim Thugga & Beezy Bird.” Big Jay sounds good wit his part, here. Ooh, I like how I sound; Beezy Bird told me ta put tha “okay!!!” Nice shit for how I sound, even though it’s a lil’ hard ta hear me, but it’s great; “ruff!!” R.I.P. Cookie (“ruff”)! I have to say, one of tha best intros in a long time!! My Rating: N/A

02. “Bounce” Feat. Kevin F
Let’s hear it! >>> I never heard Tim Thugga’s Mixtape Vol. 1, or whateva it was, but let’s see what’s goin’ on afta this intro… Good hook goin’ on wit this beat, wit a lil’ bit of Beezy Bird on tha hook! Tha 1st verse iz Tim Thugga, and it sounds good wit what he bringin’; gotta luv what he does!! BTW, I’m gonna need some non-DJ, non-mixed versions of these songs if y’all want ‘em on my radio show! We got Beezy Bird on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit good shit, although a lil’ ‘automatic’ wit how automatically, “hoes” can “fuck” him, easily. Time for some Kevin F on tha 3rd verse… Wow, what a turn off in tha beginning; on Level’s dick? Not feelin’ tha beginning flow, but it turns out to be okay, but still, very ‘automatic’ soundin’… Speakin’ of which, thanks for “The Addams Family” part, F; good mention for my 42 (lol, again, I said that age) aunt! My Rating: 4.3

03. “Stuntin’” Feat. Foxx
Just Foxx on tha ID, not “Foxx A Mill”… >>> Sounds hot wit tha hook and beat; crazy Tim Thugga voice goin’ on, here!!! See, it’s about fuckin’ time somebody has some energy in their voice, after all them regularly-rapped shit I reviewed, previously!! Definitely feelin’ this one a whole lot, so far, and I’m only about a minute it!! Beezy Bird’s comin’ through on tha 1st verse, reppin’ fa “G-Lane.” Too bad for me, “G-Lane” was a 2009 thing only; that’ll always be its peak year, and due to people not showin’ loyalty, tha year’ll prolly neva re-capture tha success of gay-ass ’09! Oh well, it’s neva my fault! Glad Beezy mentioned, “I’m tha one they samplin’;” correct! He be goin’, “bow, bow,” on tha beat’s backgrounds! Bro-Bro didn’t understand, but I gon tell him, “You need to listen to tha interview I did wit DJ B-Real, where I talked about it, or else I won’t send you your awards!” Foxx’s on tha 2nd verse, and it sounds pretty nice; I remember those recording sessions on YouTube, which I featured in tha October 1, 2011 show I did, where I interviewed y’all! Time fa my big dawg, Tim Thugga, on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit one of tha best, most-entertainin’ flows, right now; can’t resist it!! Tim Thugga wraps you up in his raps, lol; continuous, non-stop shit!! Wit 54 seconds left, what’s left? Oh, Janis Joplin, please distract me from tha ending! *Skips ending* My Rating: 4.8

04. “You Ain’t Shyt”
A solo from Tim Thugga, lol? Sounds random for this collaboration CD… >>> Sounds good; almost sounds like it follows up tha previous joint wit tha hook. Gotta give props to Tim fa doin’ his thang wit this great voice. Huh, he said, “Free my nigga Lil’ One The Champ”? Why does he like jail (for not bein’ alert to get in there), so wh—how you know him, Tim? Everyone’s on tha same level, ya feel me? No offense wit any of this; I don’t get why it’s so hard to get a hard copy of somethin’, when I was promised! But, for a quick song, you did ya thang, Tim Thugga!! You really be holdin’ your rhymes down, at all times!! My Rating: 4.4

05. “Speak The Real” Feat. Vic Boi
Anotha Tim Thugga solo, featurin’ this Vic Boi dude… >>> It sounds like an okay track, but iz great wit your voice all ova it; really reppin’ for tha streetz, once again! Glad you speakin’ “tha real” to ‘em, right here! Kinda long on tha length for this mixtape, and a solo song, but I’ll deal wit it… I guess this iz Vic Boi on tha 3rd verse? Don’t know too much about this dude, but I have to say that he sounds like Quick; I’ll give this props… I like how Tim Thugga says, “let’s delete it;” I know how to delete, and I’m deletin’ those that didn’t thank me for my 2010 awards in three dayz, which’ll mark a year since I sent ‘em out. My Rating: 4.3

06. “Hard” Feat. Lil’ Boxx & Hannibal
Looks like a combo… >>> *Automatically mumbles words to not understand tha intro* I’m definitely likin’ this beat; good shit goin’ on here wit tha Tim Thugga hook! Beezy Bird’s reppin’ pretty nice on tha 1st verse; gotta feel how he bringin’ that tight shit to a track dat goes “hard!” Got Lil’ Boxx on tha 2nd verse; glad you know him and collaborated wit him! Definitely some tight-ass shit, here; Lil’ Boxx’s always consistent wit his energy and rhymin’!! Time fa tha 3rd verse; what’ll it be…? Tim Thugga, as he comes through wit some tight rhymes ova this tight beat! Didn’t think he’d come through wit a verse, but he did; I thought there was gonna be a long outro or somethin’… Keep it goin’, Tim; keep it goin’, Tim!! Will there be a 4th verse? Yea—oh wait, time ta lick up some… heroin vomit!!! Mmm, like Meital says, “tasty and yummy,” huh?! Yea, I’d rather lick tha vomit! Damn, got too distracted to even think; guess that’s what happens when things are incomplete? I think so! My Rating: 4.5

07. “Grind For”
Let’s see what y’all “grind for”… >>> What’s up wit tha tags in tha beginning, includin’ tha beat tag? Seems like everyone wants to have a beat tag… Good job wit tha hook; great, consistent music at its finest!! Even down to tha 1st verse from Tim Thugga; tha consistency iz tha same, and I can’t deny any shit goin’ on, here! Gotta keep stayin’ on ya “grind!” Beezy Bird’s on tha 2nd verse, and his voice adds tha extra spice to what could originally be a solo Tim Thugga joint! Glad to hear a whole CD from Beezy, finally!! My Rating: 4.4

08. “Gutta Bitch” Feat. ADORE
Capital letters? What’s this gon be like? >>> Not sure about tha intro; hope y’all can pull off this smooth shit! Prevent y’allselves from makin’ this sound soft… Tim Thugga’s on tha 1st verse and it’s good wit tha voice; “they some characters, girl.” I have to say, I agree wit Tim, even though he’s his own “character,” wit how great he comes through on tha tracks, not like everyone else’s boring, stale voices… Tha hook ain’t too bad; thank God there’s no a-tune ‘cause I would’ve skipped this, if so! Got Beezy Bird on tha 2nd verse, and I have to say, these are some entertainin’ rhymes; nice job! Can’t deny what Beezy brings to tha table! A lil’ bit of a 3rd verse from ADORE; good for my gurl Alexia, I guess? Not too bad, overall… My Rating: 3.9

½time: I made it to tha ½ mark, so far, and y’all are at a nice, 4.4 for tha CD rating, currently!!!!

09. “Check Out My” Feat. BluBlack
Wow, did I jynx it? I said, “A walking nipple slip…,” before I saw tha ID/heard tha track, and I guess I’m right! >>> Who’s “C Real”? Sounds like a watered-down version of a 225-soundin’ beat, but it’s not bad; I’m sayin’ what I’m sayin’ ‘cause it sounds like a mainstream-soundin’ beat… Either way, I like tha hook, as it’s nice and repetitive! Got Beezy Bird on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some shit to “check out”; gotta feel him! Thumbs up fa tha consistency!! As for tha 2nd verse, it’s dat boy Tim Thugga!! Doesn’t exactly sound like him (since I thought it was someone else on tha hook); really feelin’ tha voice and attitude!! Nice job, Tim!! Got tha 3rd verse up next, and—oh wait, tha hot Amy Schumer’s poppin’ up in my head? What, “tha most pissed off winners of 2011”? “A walking nipple slip waitin’ ta happen”? “Cookoo for Coco… Puffs, or whatever”? Amy Schumer to tha rescue!!! Yea, I like them quotes! Wish I could see some 40 Winningest Winners of 2011 on VH1, again; hope she’ll host tha 2012 ones, too, if they even have it! Yea, tell ‘em: “And her ass later…;” good job, girl! Oh wait, what happened? Guess I didn’t get ta review tha 3rd verse; oh well, guess an acknowledgement’ll boost my priorities! Thank God I’m 23, turnin’ 24 now!! Gonna be possibly drivin’ to New York all by myself in three dayz! I think my family has faith in me, now, especially since they see me carin’ more about me, rather than random people that don’t respect what I do/are not loyal! I gon keep bein’ a bad-azz and keep bein’ self-absorbed!! My Rating: 4.4

10. “Showin’ Off”
Let’s see this; I know there was somethin’ about this online, I think… >>> C Real must be doin’ this beat, too, since I heard a beat tag. Damn, I hope people retire them beat tags fa 2012; gettin’ annoyin’ and they’re hella insecure. It’s like, what happened to surprises? As for this song, I like this beat slightly better, and tha hook’s pretty nice!! Good job wit Tim Thugga on tha 1st verse; nice shout out ta “Lil’ Boxx.” Keep your “flash out” attitude, Tim; it’s all about showin’ tha fake what’s real!! For me, I rather be quiet; I can “flash out” in my own house, but not to people, to where I get arrested. Let’s see what we got for tha 2nd verse… Beezy Bird’s comin’ through wit some anti-“fake” rhymes; you know we all can’t stand them unloyal people! It’s like, how can you be unloyal? How can you be negative?!? My Rating: 4.3

11. “Lookin’ For Me” Feat. Carterboy
Carter Boy from Da Gremlins? Y’all have tha name as a compound word (“Carterboy”), so are they different? Lemme hear… >>> Feelin’ tha production, whether it’s original or not! It works greatly for y’all, especially Tim Thugga! Good shit wit tha hook; time ta locate tha Thugga, lol! Didn’t expect this song ta be almost five minutes long, but I’ll deal wit it… Good shit, once again, from Tim, on tha 1st verse; that voice iz undeniable when it comes ta this consistent shit!!! LOL, Tim Thugga on tha 2nd verse, again? Can’t be; iz it dat Carter Boy dude? Whateva this iz, it sounds like they’re affiliated wit y’all… If this iz Carter, then no, this ain’t tha same one from MVP Entertainment; no wonder why his name’s a compound word. Yea, I heard him say his name toward tha end of tha verse… Some Beezy Bird on tha 3rd verse, here, also becomin’ a target! Now, it’s a mission ta locate tha Bird, lol! Good job wit tha tight/consistent shit you bringin’ to tha table, Beezy; gotta feel it! My Rating: 4.3

12. “Go Hard” Feat. Sims & S.O.S.
ROFL, what happened to tha “Or Go Home” in tha title? Funny, especially since it’s 1.5x longer than tha video version! For me, this a classic-soundin’ song; definitely caught my attention on a 1st listen!! Y’all a great team, between To Tha Dirt Records + New Go Get It Music = Real Street Music! Beezy does a real nice job wit tha hook; it’s almost like you’ll be dyin’ ta kick it wit him, and do some tight business/songs wit him! Gotta give props ta Tim Thugga, too, wit tha 2nd verse; he everything “in this game!” Let’s see what this last 1:57 iz… ROFL, an unsourced, random appearance from Sims, here! Why’d you guys leave him outta tha DatPiff ID? There’s nothin’ wrong wit him; he ain’t no “walking nipple slip,” even though I neva got access to send him his 2009 awards… Sounds like S.O.S. on tha 4th verse, but I dunno who’s on tha 2nd ½ of tha 4th verse? S.O.S., can you please give Obeeze his 2009 awards, already?! Sounds like someone. Unfortunately, I can’t put anyone in tha ID of tha 2nd ½ of tha 4th verse, due to I can’t tell their voice. But, I rather it just end wit Sims…; should I consider this a remix? My Rating: 4.5

13. “Fast Train” Feat. STREETz
Who’s this feature and why are they in caps? >>> A good start, so far… Tha 1st verse ain’t bad; I feel like I’m likin’ this hook a lil’ betta! Really feelin’ tha whole vibe of this “fast train,” ya feel me? This Streetz dude’s on tha 2nd verse; good job wit tha collaboration, teamin’ up wit tha Bird and tha Thugga! Time ta have a Beezy Bird “bulletproof” dinner, for tha 3rd verse, lol! He’d “pull [his] whole dick out and piss on you?!” Damn, what an attackin’ bird!!! What do we got for this 4th verse? Iz it Tim—no, it’s not!! My 30-year-old cousin just died last month (last serious death in tha family since December 1, 2004); I rather think about him than hear tha ending!! My Rating: 4.3

14. “Gun Speak” Feat. Yungmoney Slim & Tweezy
Let’s see what dis ‘bout… >>> Wow, pretty crazy wit Beezy Bird and his “gun” talk!! Tha 23rd’ll mark four years since I had a 9mm to me; glad I’ve neva seen a gun since! Crazy shit from Beezy, here, but I kinda can’t say anything about Young Maniac, on tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse, ‘cause he owes me an acknowledgement. Sorry, this iz no offense; you gotta fix what you caused! Wonder who this Tweezy dude iz on tha 2nd verse? Not bad; I can deal wit it… Ooh, tha crazy-ass Tim Thugga on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse!! When was tha last time y’all had, or seen a “gun”? Iz it really daily? Glad that for me, it’s been every four years, so far (since 2004 was tha previous time before ’08)! My Rating: 4.6

15. “Shit On You”
Gotta hear it! >>> Sounds good; what else can I say? Beezy Bird’s comin’ through wit tha hook, throwin’ some “shit on [y’all],” lol! Really likin’ dat hook, especially all tha shittin’!! Beezy’s also comin’ through on tha 1st verse, wit his great character and how he holds it down for tha streetz!! Damn, I hope I get unmixed, unDJ’d versions of these songs so I can get ‘em on tha air!! Got Tim Thugga on tha 2nd verse, and this iz pretty tight wit how he sounds wit tha beat! Givin’ a thumbs up ta tha Thugga, once again; almost sounds like his “shit” sounds like a splattin’ gun! My Rating: 4.5

16. “Swagg” Feat. Carterboy, Jigg-Three & Tweezy
Not really into tha title, but let’s see what happens wit all tha people. >>> Oh no, a beat tag hidden in tha beginning… Damn, 6:25 on tha length? Hope it holds up! Well, despite tha title, Tim Thugga sounds nice on tha hook! Must be Carterboy on tha 1st verse? Even strapped up? Wonder what age he learned to have a gun; by tha way, I’m a virgin wit guns, since I neva touched one (and prolly neva will)! Now call that somethin’ different when people say, “not pill music!” Do we got Tim Thugga on tha 2nd verse? Yup, comin’ through wit some tight shit, here; he don’t stop wit dis shit!! Got tha 3rd verse from Tweezy? Shouldn’t he be above Jigg-Three? Okay wit tha verse, here; not much ta say… Okay, I’m a lil’ confused; Beezy Bird’s on tha 4th verse, comin’ through wit a nice vibe, once again. Oh, here’s Jigg-Three (I think), on tha 2nd ½ of tha 4th verse, and it sounds off-beat, but tha consistency ain’t too bad… My Rating: 4.2

17. “Haters”
Just Tim Thugga? Gotta hear it! >>> Damn, endin’ it wit an old, Young Jeezy, always-used beat…? I’m likin’ tha rhymes; decent on this beat… My Rating: 3.8

Overall: Nice job wit tha mixtape! I feel honored to be a part of it, especially #1 on tha whole thang!!! Definitely a nice job collaboratin’ wit each other; gotta ride dis one ‘til tha wheels fall off!!
