I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. >>> Nice start wit C on tha hook; it’s all about bein’ “a tru nigga.” :tu Got Rudye startin’ off wit tha 1^st part, comin’ through wit some great shit fa tha streets of BR. Ooh, an actual verse from C on tha 2^nd verse; good shit comin’ from him, as always! You know what it iz wit dat “tru”, gangsta shit! Got M-11 comin’ through on tha 3^rd verse, deliverin’ a nice, consistent verse fa y’all and this album! My Rating: 4.4

03. “But U Luv It” Feat. Max Minelli

>>> Really likin’ tha unique production, here; sounds like a castle and celetic soldiers and warriors ‘bout ta battle, like in Final Fantasy VI, lol! Good hook from Max, comin’ through wit his “double” method! IL Duce’s on tha 1^st verse, and he comin’ through wit a progression, when it comes from “startin’ from nothin’” to where he at now (and, even when this CD was released in early 2011)! Ooh, trap-type shit from Rudye on tha 2^nd verse, comin’ through wit a full “plate” fa anyone dat comes through, on tha block! My Rating: 4.5

>>> Sounds like some ‘90s R&B-type start in tha beginning; a lil’ catchy, so far… Beat sounds like it has a good vibe, here; nice, consistent shit from Duce on tha 1^st verse… Lol, Rudye gettin’ his sex game on, here, throughout tha 2^nd verse; gotta luv his perspective, lol!! My Rating: 4.2

06. “Keep It Tru” Feat. Pennie

>>> I remember this from one of my radio shows from a while ago; C-Murder randomly on tha sample, but not on tha ID (just a sample). Tha hook sounds nice from Pennie, here; got Rudye deliverin’ some PG-type shit fa tha ladies, this time, lol. Either way, I enjoyed tha lyrics to tha previous joint betta, but this still iz listenable… Got a 2 on tha 2^nd verse…; lol, I’m just playin’! You already know it’s Duce on tha 2^nd verse, lol… Tha rhymes ain’t too bad, either; not bad, overall. My Rating: 3.9

½time: A 4.3-rated CD, currently; that’s pretty good, especially since y’all are consistent at all times!!!

07. “A Lot Of Wayz”

Lol, “alot” iz not a compound word! >>> Sounds like a familiar song? I know I have heard this somewhere… I don’t remember where (I did clear most of my iTunes library not too long ago), but this iz more consistent shit from 2 (lol)! Even Rudye comin’ through wit some crazy-ass shit; you know this shit’s undeniable, lyrically, for tha streetz!! My Current Rating: 4.6

08. “Gamer” Feat. Jason Lyric & Jonea Lyric

>>> Lol, oh yea, I remember this from my radio show! You know what? This and tha previous song was prolly from Rudye’s Gutta Baby mixtape from 2010 that was sent to me! Oh, gotta compare tha ratings so I’m not rating below! *Compares ratings* Lol, IL Duce was tha only feature, but now, I got a list! Too bad I aired it on my radio show without tha features listed! Or wait, this iz longer? Yup, it iz… *Hears tha Lyric peoples’ parts* Ehh, prolly could’ve just left it as Rudye & IL Duce… My Rating: 4.2

09. “Yeah Nigga”

>>> Beat’s a lil’ on tha quieter tip, for a start; rhymes are good from Duce, here. Tha hook sounds pretty tight; I like those mysterious, quiet vocals wit tha title bein’ said! Good job, IL; you held down tha 2^nd verse, too… My Rating: 4.3

10. “Raw”

>>> Sounds like someone ‘bout ta rip someone’s head off wit that sample on tha hook, lol! Not bad wit tha rhymes comin’ from Duce, here, on tha 1^st verse… However, it sounds like Rudye has some betta shit ta offer on tha 2^nd part of tha 1^st verse; gotta feel his “raw” feelings, lol! Tha 2^nd verse starts wit IL Duce, and he’s got a bunch of goodbyez for these haters; nice and consistent, at its finest! Got some Rudye on tha 2^nd ½ of tha 2^nd verse, too, comin’ through wit his non-stop “grind,” here! Thumbs up fa tha hood content, as well as tha “cramp” line, lol. Got a 3^rd verse, here, and it’s IL Duce startin’ it off, wit some catchy rhymes! Lol, from tha “hourglass” to tha “shittin’ on you niggaz,” I’m definitely feelin’ tha shit bein’ brought to tha table, here! Ooh, Rudye’s comin’ through wit a lot of catchiness in tha beginning of tha 2^nd ½ of tha 3^rd verse! Really liked how there wasn’t much of tha beat when he was deliverin’ some tight shit, but either way, tha whole 2^nd ½ of tha verse was nice! My Rating: 4.4

11. “My Turn” (Briel)

>>> More mysterious vocals comin’ through on tha hook? Briel’s voice? Really likin’ how it sounds! Oh, a lil’ ehh wit tha “Video Phone” quote; ehh, but it’s not too bad, overall… Oh, this iz only tha female, here? Interestin’; a lil’ Faith Evans-y-soundin’, on tha 2^nd verse, which sounds like a lil’ bit of sexiness iz here… My Rating: 3.3

12. “Post & Lean”

>>> Lol, tha volume’s so much louder than tha previous joint, lol! Feelin’ tha hook, “post & lean” style! Got Rudye on tha 1^st verse, here, comin’ through fa all tha “bitches,” lol; nothin’ but luv comin’ from this way, Rudye, as you already know what it iz! Some cash to start off tha 2^nd verse, here, wit IL Duce on tha verse… Feelin’ tha ‘feelin’-like-a-hotel’-type vibe, Duce; catchiness in tha flow, too! My Rating: 4.2

Overall: Nice CD, guys; y’all a great, tri-combo team! Keep up tha great work, as y’all neva stop grindin’!!

I like this title. Plus, The Show’s a feature so you know this should be somethin’ serious!! >>> Jontan David beat, here, which sounds good for a current, New Orleans-type joint. Tha hook sounds pretty nice and catchy, too; sounds like a nice lil’ joint before I could even hear tha rhymes, lol… Hearin’ tha rhymes, now, and tha slow flow, here, sounds nice wit tha great rhymes, at times! Show sounds good wit his catchy rhymes; they just keep goin’ and goin’ and goin’, lol! Wasn’t sure if a 3^rd verse would be here but it’s you and it’s somewhat-good, too; was hoping to get some luck wit a ½ verse from Show, too… My Rating: 4.2

Same producer fa this song, too; what do we got here? >>> I have anticipation fa dis; let’s see if it’s worth bein’ a “single.” Well, I like tha faster BPMs, here; definitely grabbin’ my attention fa interest, here! Good job wit tha rhymes and tha hook’s pretty catchy, too; call this a winner! My Rating: 4.3

Same producer again? LOL, good job wit these double combos? >>> Yup! Likin’ tha production, here; tha hook sounds like somethin’ good, too! Nice job fa gettin’ Mr. Queans on tha feature; good shit, although, why did it go out, or somethin’, when he said, “Rock N [?] beard.”? My Rating: 4.1

More Legit productions… >>> Maybe three-in-a-row was too much; not too crazy ‘bout tha semi-soft, mainstream feel, here… Well, even though tha hook’s a lil’ smooth wit tha voice delivery and combination of tha production, I’m kinda likin’ it a lil’ bit… My Rating: 3.4

Ooh, 2 Saint beat! >>> An intro, here; good, as well as tha beat start remindin’ me of Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em “Let Me Get ‘Em”’s start. Sounds like you can fit wit Max Minelli wit how you sound on this, too, includin’ tha title bein’ one of his, too! Feelin’ tha way you continue ta come through wit this good-soundin’ content; nothin’ too boring about tha lyrics, too… My Rating: 4.1

08. “Pay Your Dues” Feat. C-Murder

2 Saint, again! >>> Oh, resurrection from 2009, a lil’ bit? Glad it’s an original version, though; guess this iz Ponchatoula (borderline of Baton Rouge sound) vs. New Orleans, here, since I first heard this as Lil’ Cali’s 2009 song from his “Cold Summer” CD. As far as this version, cool ta hear tha lady on tha hook, again (Pennie? If her, hope she ain’t unsourced). C-Murder sounds pretty nice on tha 1^st verse; good for a Louisiana vs. Louisiana song! LOL, you sound like Max Minelli on tha 2^nd verse; I see a future wit him, too. Nice job, overall, ya dig? An outro from Bengie B, too; good shit! My Rating: 4.3

½time: This iz a pretty-good CD, overall; thought I’d be disappointed but this iz some nice, consistent shit!! Currently, you’re at a 4.1 for tha CD rating!

No producer listed; jacked beat? >>> Doesn’t exactly sound like one but I like this theme about “givin’ someone [your] last name!” Sounds like tha lyrics are somethin’ serious and consistent! Pretty-good combo, overall, although tha hook’s slowly becomin’ kinda mainstreamish, for me, wit tha vocals… My Rating: 3.8

11. “Wonderful Life” Feat. Shawt Fella

Added “Fella” to Shawt’s name? He goes by a two-word name, now? Anyway, Y.E. Beatz, this time, wit tha production. >>> Sounds like what could be a good, mainstream song, based off its sound. I’m likin’ tha 2^nd verse betta than tha 1^st verse; sounds like some consistent shit comin’ from Shawt, here! My Rating: 3.8

12. “Woman”

Ben Rosen be—oh, I remember not goin’ for this when I heard it on a mixtape, previously; sorry. Then again, it’s a lil’ betta than 1.4. Once again, way too Pop for me; not a fan of this stupid-ass 2010s generation of mainstream music! My Current Rating: 1.9

Legit on tha beat, here. >>> An okay/good song; sounds catchy wit tha hook wit tha “in thi—in this world” part. My Rating: 3.7

Y.E. Beatz doin’ tha beat, this time. >>> This goes wit “Woman” but this iz betta wit tha production and tha rhymes ain’t too bad, either. My Rating: 2.6

Anotha Y.E. beat, here. >>> Sounds catchy wit tha hook, as well; I like how tha production iz, too. This has a good mainstream feel to it, too, which should sound good in futures, too. My Rating: 3.8

16. “Watch Me Stunt” Feat. Lady Karma & Y Luck

Mathematics on tha beat? LOL, what a simple name; let’s see what dis gon be like for an ending song… >>> Catchy wit tha screwed-soundin’ hook. Lady emergin’ on tha 1^st verse, soundin’ like she’s readin’ somethin’, but in a catchy way, lol. Tha 2^nd verse sounds consistent wit tha rhymes; nice shit… Tha 3^rd verse iz good, too; seems like you have some catchy shit ta offer on this joint, too. My Rating: 3.8

Overall: Betta than I thought, especially when “Woman” was one of tha 1^st songs I heard! Excluding #6, all of tha 1^st ½ was 4.0 or higher; all of tha 2^nd ½ was under 4.0. Unexpected, but at least tha 1^st ½ was tha peak for me.

You sound betta on tha 2^nd verse, M-11; nice job wit tha street content but damn, you quoted “Tupac” when you said, “people act like him?” :confused Error…? “Eva since my father passed, I’ve been drivin’ reckless;” I know a death iz bad but to control your drivin’? Tha content iz a lil’ too typical for me (mainstream shit) so my interest izn’t too high, although some of tha shit, here, iz consistently delivered. Tha hook sounds good wit tha unlisted Jamaican artist; why she unlisted when there’s a fake feature listed? My Rating: 3.6

Anyway, nice collaboration; thumbs up fa tha both of y’all keepin’ shit on ‘n’ poppin’ to tha max!! My Rating: 4.6

½time: Tha previous two jointz really helped tha ratings go up, bringin’ tha average to a 4.0, currently; can you keep it up?

I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Fa sho, my boy! Lemme see how you do on tha track! >>> Tha intro sounds kinda quiet… Tha hook sounds a lil’ different for you; nearly a voice change? Nearly soundin’ like The Game a lil’… Anyway, you sound good on tha 1st verse; feelin’ tha beat style at :56. Tha 2nd verse was aight; this iz more on tha mainstream level here so it ain’t supa excitin’ fa me… For tha 3rd verse, I’m glad you always do what you do and don’t stop; that’s motivational right there! My Rating: 3.7


03. “No Pressure” Feat. Sincere Sosa & Jason Lyric
So he goes by “Sincere Sosa” also? Thanx for tha fact! I’m sure this song’ll go hard, ya dig! >>> Yes, it has that grimy start in tha beat, gettin’ me prepared!! Tha intro was gr8 and tha hook sounds gr8; DEFINITELY feelin’ this ova tha last song! You’re on tha 1st verse, spittin’ some pretty good rhymes here. Glad you got a lotta luv from buku people! Tha 2nd verse iz here and it’s good; not much ta say though. Tha 3rd verse sounds a lil’ betta; all y’all addin’ some gr8 shit inta this song, ya dig! Once again, gr8 flow in tha hook! My Rating: 4.4


04. “It’s So Hard” Feat. Jahbo
This one made it on here… I guess it was so ‘cause this iz more of an album type of deal here… Sounds like some gr8 Rap music fa people right here. Tha hook iz an R&B singer and it sounds pretty good fa a C-Murder song ‘cause it’s usually pretty gutta and gangsta. I thought for a second I heard Auto-Tune on you (C-Murder) at one point in tha 1st verse? Hopefully, it was just my imagination! Tha 2nd verse sounds good wit what you’re spittin’, C. I like tha “just us/justice” part; that was REAL tight! You sounded nice and grimy wit your “I have a dream” part before tha 3rd verse started! Nice job wit tha 3rd verse also as you kept spittin’ tha everyday life type shit! My Current Rating: 3.8


05. “Real Click” Feat. Holidae & Jason Lyric
Slowly fallin’ asleep here ‘cause of tha long day… I wanna hear you and your “real click” right now, ya heard me! >>> C, you sound catchy for a start here; interestin’ hook. Tha 1st verse from you sounds good. Sounds like you’re addin’ some drug attributes to this shit; nice! Nice job and now, tha 2nd verse iz here! Wow, gotta luv that voice!! Talk about some gutta shit from tha Boot! This iz DEFINITELY a nice soundin’ on this verse; REAL GR8 flow!!! And tha 3rd verse fits in wit this a lil’ bit; gotta have an extra person rap on your songs sometimes. My Rating: 4.3

Shit yea, Holidae made it to this song too!! You KNOW I’ll be lookin’ forward ta it!! >>> Sounds really anticipatin’ in tha intro wit tha “’bleedin’” parts and tha intense beat intro!! Dat boy Holidae iz up 1st not just on tha intro but on tha 1st verse too! Definitely did a nice job on tha 1st verse and tha hook goes hard!! You DEFINITELY can do it in this Rap game, Holidae!! Somethin’ tells me this ain’t gonna have C on it ‘cause Holidae’s on tha 2nd verse already! CRAZY flow wit CRAZY shit goin’ on here that I luv, ya dig!! Keep this shit up, my boy!! Yup, takin’ ova tha 3rd verse here as we’re C-Murderless. My Rating: 4.6


07. “Come Roll With Me” Feat. Snoop Dogg & Jahbo
Interestin’ collab; let’s see how good it iz! >>> Because I see Snoop Dogg’s on tha song, now that I hear this beat intro, I expect it ta be on some ol’ 90’s West Coast Rap. Let’s see what it’ll kick into… Okay, tha vibe iz still REAL gr8 on tha hook! Tha hook sounds cool; I like tha singin’ and shit! Hella catchy right here fa a slow song!! C, you’re up 1st on this song! You sounded cool on your verse; doin’ it big fa err-body, C!! Snoop made it into tha 2nd verse here and he applied a nice, laid back element for tha track. Tha singin’ here iz betta than tha “It’s So Hard” track. And speakin’ of singin’, you KNOW there had ta be a rapper on tha 3rd verse; you, C! Glad you made it to anotha verse and your flow iz real catchy this time! My Rating: 4.3

Ooh, looks like anotha GR8 collaboration!! Here we go!! >>> Sounds like a catchy hook; glad y’all “gettin’ it on” to tha fullest!! Tha 1st verse iz here and it sounds catchy. As long as y’all “gettin’ it on” somewhere (no matter what y’all doin’), y’all should be satisfied! Dat boy Holidae on tha 2nd verse, STILL comin’ through wit his FAST rapid-fire shit!!! Tha shit just sounds SO GR8 wit all tha lyrics I’m hearin’ and err-thang; INCREDIBLE flow!!! You’re finally on this song, C (tha 3rd verse)! You did ya thang to tha fullest; keep enjoyin’ this shit right here! My Rating: 4.3

Looks like interestin’ featured artist names here! It makes me really look forward ta this one, ESPECIALLY since it has a gangsta-ass title!! >>> Sounds like I hear tha beat more than tha vocals at first… It sounded good ‘cause I like tha way this beat sounds wit an uptempo beat and organ. You’re on tha 1st verse and your flow iz GR8 and fast!! Everything you be spittin’ iz just GR8, ya dig!! Keep spittin’ dat street shit, C-Murder!! Tha dude on tha 2nd verse sounded aight; nothin’ bad. He sounded betta towards tha end of his verse. Anyway, time for tha final verse… Definitely a street dude here as he knows that err-body “has choppaz;” good eyes and ears! Catchy song here for tha streetz! My Rating: 4.4

We got a HOT collaboration right here!! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this joint!! >>> Sounds like a good beat intro here. Good lyrics in tha hook for tha N.O. although tha vocals are kinda a lil’ weird on a 1st listen. C, you’re on tha 1st verse, rappin’ about your N.O. life! Sounds gr8, ESPECIALLY since it’s gangsta in tha N.O. and you got gangsta lyrics ta spit! Tha 2nd verse iz Juvenile and he sounds gr8 too! Gr8 flow on this shit and he “smokin’ purp” for his boyz “locked up,” so that’s a thumbs up, fa real! More gangsta shit comin’ through on tha 3rd verse from tha baby gangsta himself, B.G.! It’s all about tha street Rap shit here! My Rating: 4.3

YES! Anotha Holidae collaboration!! This should be tight fa almost five minutes long!! >>> Sounds gr8 for a start! Tha hook iz DEFINITELY tight wit Holidae on it, ESPECIALLY wit how he says tha title, “You can HATE ON ME!!!” I like tha sirens throughout tha hook too! He’s even on tha 1st verse, comin’ through REAL GUTTA here!!! Glad ta hear you, C, on tha 2nd verse now! Comin’ through good on tha verse; can’t deny you on dat, C! Holidae comin’ through wit an ATTITUDE on tha 3rd verse; REAL gangsta here for tha streetz!!! Gr8 shit right here and GR8 collaboration!! My Rating: 4.5


12. “The Life I Live” Feat. Jahbo
Anotha Jahbo collaboration here… >>> Sounds like a pretty good intro. Ooh, a collaboration hook. I like how you come through and I like how Jahbo adds to it after you. Now, tha 1st verse came quickly and you got some pretty fast rhymes this time! Pretty short 1st verse but it was good overall! Tha 2nd verse sounds like you wanna predict “a C-Murder scene” wit “tha life you live;” I feel it. Even a 3rd verse fit in; not even at tha 2:00 mark yet! More gr8 lyrics about your troubled life. Nice job deliverin’ tha flow and lyrics on tha 3rd verse; gr8 job wit this song! My Rating: 4.4


13. “My Hustle” Feat. Pukie, Sincere Sosa & Jahbo
Looks like a big song wit all these names on it; let’s see if I’m right! >>> Good beginning, kinda on tha typical life level. Speakin’ of typical, tha 1st verse from Pukie was kinda typical wit tha lyrics…; they’re just average… Okay, tha actual hook came after tha 1st verse and it sounds GR8 wit tha beat!! Why all tha “make it rain” shit? It sounds a lil’ betta on tha 2nd verse; betta lyrics this time, Sosa! I believe Sosa iz on tha 3rd verse too. Nearly sounds like Lil’ Wayne lyrics at times… You’re not on this, C. That sux in a way… Actually, not really a verse, but you’re at tha end wit tha last 30 seconds. It was a good ending at least. My Rating: 4.2


14. “Real Where I Live” Feat. Macho, Duggum-D & Bop
Anotha “live” song; let’s see this one vs. tha previous song! >>> This has anotha REAL GOOD beat intro!! Might even sound betta than “The Live I Live”’s! Tha hook sounds cool wit all tha vocal styles! Tha 1st verse iz off to a good start; sounds like some of dat good N.O. shit right here! Tha 1st verse had to have been Macho, so tha 2nd verse must be Duggum… I think he said Macho’s name, so it has ta be him. It sounds just as good as tha 1st verse; I like this voice too for this Rap shit! Here’s tha 3rd verse (prolly from Bop) and it’s more on a gangsta level here. Nice job wit dat verse; good thing there’s 1:34 left ‘cause C, you HAVE ta be next! Yup, you’re on tha 4th verse! It was worth tha wait ‘cause you sound good at all times, makin’ this joint sound betta than tha “The Life I Live” song a lil’ bit! My Rating: 4.5


15. “My City” Feat. Verse, M-11 & Young Trump
ANOTHA reppin’ song for where you live and ANOTHA song ova five minutes long!! LOL! >>> Sounds more on tha gangsta side vs. #12 & #14. Tha beat sounds gr8; let’s see tha verses… You’re on tha 1st verse (finally) and it’s once again, dat street life! Good job deliverin’ you to tha fullest! Tha 2nd verse here and it has a pretty good flow for a start. Sounds like a pretty bad history wit “gettin’ caught” and all dat. Sorry ta hear dat, Verse. Tha 3rd verse iz here from M-11 and I almost thought it was B.G. when it started, lol. Sounds like good street lyrics once again. Let’s see what this Young Trump dude has ta say on tha 4th verse… Definitely for tha hood here wit all tha drug references. Good shit right here for tha 1st time hearin’! My Rating: 4.2


16. “Carrin’ Da Hawk” (Holidae Feat. Macho & Malachi)
Lookin’ like a nice collaboration here!! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’!! >>> Tha beat iz good and tha hook iz DEFINITELY catchy; I like tha whole title and “flamin’ tha torch” part in tha hook!! Of course, tha 1st verse HAD ta be tight and start wit Holidae! Glad he “stays wit dat green on him like it’s St. Patrick’s!” DEFINITELY a good “lucky” line there, lol! Sounds like tha 2nd verse iz from Macho here; good shit wit tha street shit! That must be Malachi on tha 3rd verse here… Will we have room for you, C? Either way, glad we got more street shit here. Why tha 2Pac “I ain’t no killa, but don’t push me” line? I hear it too much from too many people. No C-Murder this time, which iz kinda a minus… My Rating: 4.3


17. “Streets Made Me” Feat. Lil’ Real One
This looks like a GR8 collaboration! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ ANOTHA street/hood anthem!! >>> DEFINITELY a nice beat here for tha start!! Tha beat sounds good like a Mannie Fresh beat durin’ tha hook; GR8 street anthem here!! Nice job deliverin’ tha hook, C! Gotta have tha boy Lil’ Real One on tha 1st verse here (as well as tha hook before)! Gotta luv this N.O. flow right here wit tha street-ass lyrics!! Too bad he “anti-social.” Even comin’ through on tha 2nd verse, doin’ tha damn thang here!! Yea, he’s “so fuckin’ devoted!” I also like his “lottery” line too; keepin’ this HOT shit comin’!! I like tha Baton Rougeish lyrics towards tha 2:30 mark wit tha “I get retarded when I’m fulla dat shit!” Yea, C, you’re on tha 3rd verse, contributin’ nice to this song! You’re on tha 1st verse, C, and you DEFINITELY “hold it down” fa err-body! I like tha “they ask me why I’m dirty? Bitch, I been muddy” part; good shit right here, my boy! Tha hook once again iz DEFINITELY interestin’; it’s DEFINITELY “tha Calliope in you,” C! Here’s tha 2nd verse from one of three newbies: T’Glok; nice job deliverin’ tha 1st ½ of tha verse! Tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse iz from Yung Milly (I assume) and he doin’ a nice job wit his flow and err-thang!
