Review #1,394: Outlaw Muzik "The Introduction"

Reviewed on 3.22.2014 (Review #1,394)

Here comes tha 2nd review I’m doin’ for today: Thanx to Dernishia, vice president and manager of Outlaw Muzik, I’m now connected wit this label! However, I’m not new to tha people, as I’ve talked to all of them in tha past! My next review iz Outlaw Muzik The Introduction, released on Outlaw Muzik; tha people in Outlaw Muzik are Goldie, Damage & JT, all originally from Real Profit Entertainment. JT used to go by J.T. The Creeper, or J.T. The Louisiana Boi, and now, they’re all here! I’m lookin’ forward ta peepin’ this joint out; I’m sure err-track gon do good! Start Time: 1:27 PM | End Time: 2:35 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

© 2014 CD Review (Review #1,394) reviewed on 3.22.2014 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Outer Space”
You already know! Just reviewed it on my mixtape, and here’s what I said: Beat sounds nice, and a nice hook, here; all about bein’ “outer space,” just like myself, when it comes to havin’ Asperger’s! Nice background vocal from JT wit tha start of tha 1st verse, though this Goldie on tha 1st verse? Consistent, great vibe fa this mixtape! Catchy shit from Damage on tha 2nd verse, here; always dig his voice and how he comes through wit it! He failed to submit somethin’ ta me three issues ago, but at least Outlaw Muzik’s here ta help out! Yup, I got tha voices right, as JT’s on tha 3rd verse, here; good shit! “Invade ya!” “Get ya ass abducted!” Really killin’ niggaz, here, wit his “spaceship!” I like how I fixed tha cut-off ending by slowin’ tha last “spaceship” down! My Current Rating: 4.6

02. “Hit Her”
>>> Really likin’ tha beat start, here! Pure Baton Rouge sounds, at its finest! I also like how there was no beat tag! Really diggin’ this explicit hook; wow, sex at its finest!! “A night ta remember!” Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice, too! Damage really cuttin’ up on tha hook and 1st verse, here!! LOL @ tha “we can make a sex tape like Tommy Lee & Pamela,” and how he said it! “Toe-suckin’” on tha hook; ooh, la la, lol! Mr. JT on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit “some 69 shit,” straight fuckin’ tha shit outta these hoes! “Straight fuckin’ in mid-air;” wow! “Dick in ya lips, and balls in ya mouth;” wow… I have ta say, glad y’all didn’t bore me wit this sex song! No “hoes on my dick,” one-dimensional shit, here! Y’all breakin’ down err-thang!! Whoo @ Goldie on tha 3rd verse; diggin’ his early 2000’s-like Wayne voice! Sounds like he got a grill in his mouth, too… I’m glad he keepin’ tha sex shit goin’, but on a consistent base; he doesn’t stop!! So many rhymes!!! My Rating: 4.7

03. “Muster Seed”
What? LOL…? >>> Anotha nice beat start, here; I believe it’s CJ doin’ tha track (same producer as “Outer Space”, by tha way). Goldie on tha hook, here; great voice! Great “love” / street anthem; makes me wanna be by waterfalls and hot weather! Here he iz on tha 1st verse, comin’ through like an adult from tha hood; oh, and he talkin’ about tha “water” and tha “spring,” too! Funny how I could detect tha vibe! Catchy song, here, wit this “muster seed,” lol! Mr. Damage on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through as a faithful lad? “You like a box of chocolate; you couldn’t be sweeter,” lol! LOL, again, I detected it: Damage said, “You faithful ta me;” funny how he used tha word, “Faithful,” just like me! Got JT on tha 3rd verse, here…; it’s good, though I have nothin’ much ta say. This song would prolly be borin’ if it was someone else, but this gets that “A” grade from me! My Rating: 4.5

04. “High Life”
Yeah… >>> Nice and slow, here; tha hook sounds great wit tha “smokin’ on dat fiya,” as well as tha beat nearly soundin’ like Halloween music! Good shit from Goldie on tha 1st verse, here; don’t mind tha rhymes, as he makes this love-makin’ music sound good! Damage on tha 2nd verse, here; gotta luv tha “shiiiid!” Nice verse; Damage always gets it in!! That voice iz a hood, Baton Rouge voice made from Heaven! Huh? No JT? A lil’ long on tha beat outro, here… Ehh, no need to repeat tha hook after a bunch of just tha beat playin’… My Rating: 4.3

05. “Baby Mama Drama” Feat. Carl
Ooh, a feature… >>> Hearin’ tha beat intro, and it sounds good; kinda sounds like tha beat rhythm of tha previous jointz, on here. Also, nice voice from Goldie, of course, on tha intro! And, tha hook’s pretty tight! Luv tha repetitive title parts, durin’ tha hook; y’all handle it nice on this beat! Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice, too! When I think of “Carl,” I think of KarlWayne from G-Lane. This 1st verse almost sounds like him, though I think it’s Goldie? I’ono… Nice “silly rabbit” shit on tha 2nd verse, here; I’m feelin’ this! Catchy rhymes, dealin’ wit them lames! Maybe, this iz Carl on tha 2nd verse? LOL, I’m gettin’ tha voices confused, but it’s all good ‘cause it’s good. Got some Damage on tha 3rd verse, here, comin’ through wit rough times, but a nice voice ta lay this track down! He got some kids, though I always think some of y’all kinda young, especially when y’all tryna develop a rap career… My career always comes first. Glad I got my Master’s at 24, and now, I finally have a job, though it’s not in my field… My Rating: 4.2

06. “I Get Off”
This one’s on my mixtape compilation, too… Sounds nice wit Damage on tha hook! Good shit from Damage on tha 1st verse, here; keep tha rhymes and that Baton Rouge voice comin’! Quality at its finest, fa tha undaground, here!! JT’s on tha 2nd verse, and it’s pretty nice! Talk about a team, here; glad they’re on Outlaw Muzik, doin’ tha damn thang! “Carterboifresh,” like on Facebook, or should I spell it out like, “Carter Boi Fresh,” here, so it’s searchable? Either way, nice job, y’all! Got some Goldie on tha 3rd verse, and wow, where’d all those consistent rhymes come from?! Really diggin’ this fast vibe, lol!! Even, “Peek-a-boo, I see you?” Sounds tight on this kinda shit, lol! My Current Rating: 4.6

07. “Seventeen”
>>> Beat sounds cool, and sounds jammin’… Oh, this iz dedicated ta “Trayvon” Martin, I see, based off tha intro/title… Usually, I’d be like, “WTF? It sucks, but it’s world news,” but by tha way this sounds, it sounds tight! Really diggin’ tha beat y’all rappin’ on, and tha 1st verse from Goldie’s nice! He such a great rapper!! Even got Damage rappin’ about him on tha 2nd verse, soundin’ “good,” here! When I saw this title, I almost thought it was about Damage’s age when he started rappin’. However, I first heard of him when he just turned 19! Nice, jammin’ verse from Damage, here! Great job!! Sounded like tha beat skipped by a frame, around 2:26? Anyway, here’s tha 3rd verse… Can’t tell if Goldie was on tha 1st verse, or this, since this doesn’t really sound like JT… Anyway, catchy delivery ova this beat! Tha story’s delivered in a nice way, though it’s a “sad” story. Nice outro, too, when tha beat ends: “We tha chosen ones, ya heard me?” My Rating: 4.4

08. “Down For Me” Feat. Ms. Tori
Wonder what this female gon sound like wit y’all…? >>> Sounds like a random chick from tha hood, which iz good fa tha undaground… Can’t think of who she reminds me of, at tha moment, but it’s good. Here’s Damage on tha 1st verse, wit “bad dreams;” I feel him about tha “suicidal thoughts” ‘cause shit can get to ya! See, tha “child support”’s eatin’ Damage’s pockets out. It’s eatin’ out someone else’s pockets out, too, which iz prolly why they fell off wit me, sadly. This iz what happens when y’all become young dads, wit multiple baby mamas… If only err-body can stay focused on rap!! Anyway, got Goldie on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit tha nice, 225-like flow, as always! I like that “I love you, ___; I love you, ___”-like part! He delivered it nice and fast! JT on tha 3rd verse, also comin’ through wit “suicidal thoughts;” damn… Even got “kids,” too, at just 26? Either way, good job, y’all. Damn, just cut off at 4:41, with 12 seconds of silence? My Rating: 4.0

½time: Great CD, so far, y’all; Dernishia has a great ear, and y’all got some great flows, ideas, and rhymes! So far, a 4.4-rated CD!!

09. “Where Da Vicks At”
>>> This shit sounds nice, wit Young Hustla on tha beat! Really diggin’ that y’all made this a “pill” song! Also, “dick hard,” too; y’all in action, right about nah! Really feelin’ tha hook, and this vibe’s definitely on-n-poppin’! And, to go wit tha hook, here’s Goldie on tha 1st verse, comin’ through as a “jiggalater;” definitely a nice club banga, here!! Anotha Goldie verse, here, on tha 2nd verse? You already know—wow, he just said, “You already know,” when I wrote that!! Crazy detections!! Also, glad he comin’ through wit tha club-like rhymes fa tha 2nd verse! Hustla tearin’ up tha clubs wit this beat!! Damn, this gon be 1:13 remainin’ of a beat outro? Y’all prolly could’ve shortened it, but this iz still nice! My Rating: 4.6

10. “Stand Down” Feat. C-Nile
>>> Sounds catchy, fa this hook, but this beat’s definitely drawin’ tha attention inta me! Great shit from Damage! And, here’s Damage on tha 1st verse, too, comin’ through wit some gangsta shit wit tha guns! He even “got accuracy,” so rappers, watch out! Whoo! Goldie on tha 2nd verse (I think), comin’ through wit good shit… Okay, this definitely’s C-Nile on tha 3rd verse: Wow! “You tha king of tha jungle because you lyin’;” that’s a nice lil’ play on words! Niggaz still bring up Gay “Aiken”? He seems sooooo long ago… Like, he hasn’t been on tha charts or somethin’ since a decade ago, and people remember him? Either way, catchy joint, here, and C-Nile did his thang! My Rating: 4.1

11. “My Shit Don’t Stank”
It gotta, lol, like, literally! This CD’s been tha “shit,” right now! >>> Anticipated wit this beat start, lol! A repetitive hook that sounds catchy, despite tha “big bank roll!” Goldie on tha 1st verse, comin’ through nice wit tha “Polos and Levi’s.” However, “Fuck Girbauds?” Nah…! Or should I say, “Naw!!” Gotta luv them ‘Bauds! But, I’m feelin’ these rhymes: “Shittin’ on you haterz; small toilet, big shit!” Already!! And, “Pussy niggaz masturbatin’;” you already know! Got Damage on tha 2nd verse: “I need toilet paper ta wipe my ass with;” dumb shit!! Oh wow, Damage said, “Dumb shit,” now; this iz crazy, lol!! What happened to tha beat at 2:36, lol? A ½ second of silence? JT on tha 3rd verse, here… Kinda a weak start fa me wit tha “money” shit, non-stop, as well as tha “Michael Jackson” reference, too… LOL @ how his “shit smell like fresh pink flowers;” it can smell like a sewer, JT! C’mon, now! Not really that great of a verse fa me, but this goes ham…! My Rating: 4.2

12. “Freak”
>>> Startin’ already wit Damage on tha hook, comin’ through catchy ova this beat… Just luv Damage’s voice ta death!! Such pureness comin’ outta his vocal cords, and tha rhymes on tha 1st verse are catchy fa this “freak;” all day! Oh, just Damage on this joint, since he’s on tha 2nd verse? Sounds nice… If he says so: “If you want it, I got it;” thank God, y’all got Dernishia on y’all team! Tha 3rd verse sounds good, too; God bless Damage! My Rating: 4.3

13. “Murder”
>>> A JT song? Sounds catchy fa tha beginning, so far, “aimin’ at ya neck…” Oh, nice wit tha “murderrrr” part, durin’ tha hook! Sounds pretty intense wit what his “brotha” iz dealin’ wit, when it comes ta “15!” Catchy shit on tha 1st verse fa tha streetz, here… Oh, here we go wit my dawg, Damage, on tha 2nd verse! “Delete yo existence;” damn! Wow: “You would think my name was Gin tha way I leave a nigga wasted!” Goldie on tha 3rd verse, here, comin’ through okay, this time. Tha consistent rhymes are good, but I dunno, I think I like tha other verses betta? He’s startin’ ta get betta on this verse, though… I like how tha beat just dies down, slowly, at tha end… My Rating: 4.2

14. “Make It Vibrate”
OooooooooooKkkkkkkkkkkAaaaaaaaaaaYyyyyyyyyyy, llllllllloooooooollllllll!! >>> “Lollipop”-like beginning beat intro? Of course, I wasn’t gonna be disappointed; tha hook sounds mainstream, but it sounds pretty catchy wit all this “vibrate” shit. However, why does it sound like Katie Got Bandz? Oh no, don’t turn me off on this CD, right now… LOL @ tha 1st verse from Goldie: “Like Burger King, it’s my way,” lol. I’m feelin’ his consistent delivery, but I dunno, that hook really threw me off… And, tha dude on tha hook almost sounds like a bootleg version of French Montana. Mysterious dude on tha 2nd verse, lol? I don’t get it…? It’s whateva…; this one might have ta pass… My Rating: 3.5

15. “Bad Bitch”
>>> Catchy hook from Damage, here; feelin’ tha “I’m tryna see where dem bad bitches at” hook, ova this beat. Got some JT on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some okay rhymes. LOL @ his availability ta this “bitch.” I remember when I waited for JT to call me back, back in January 2010. I don’t think he did… Either way, decent verse. Goldie on tha 2nd verse, here… I’m diggin’ tha “Category 5” shit, “like tha storm,” lol. Damage’s on tha 3rd verse, here, comin’ through wit dat catchy voice, on tha mic! Didn’t seem that long, since it blends in wit tha hook… My Rating: 4.1

16. “Mist Of My Section” Feat. Lil’ Dez
Neva heard of tha featured artist, before; let’s see what y’all got goin’ on wit this one… >>> I was ‘bout ta say, “Wow @ tha Soulja Slim-like voice on tha hook;” great shit from Goldie on tha hook! And, some Damage on tha 1st verse, here, comin’ through as a “lethal weapon!”  ROFL: “Like a overcooked meal, bitch, I been ready;” you already know what it iz wit my nigga, Damage! Must be Lil’ Dez on tha 2nd verse, here; definitely feelin’ that gutta voice—oh, he said, “I’m in tha mafia.” Okay, it’s a good verse fa tha streetz, but let’s just leave it at that! Now that I’m listenin’ to tha whole verse, I can now tell it’s a ‘90s baby-like sound… I can hear it in his voice, and it fits wit that whole “Cain” shit… Now, it sounds like Goldie on tha 3rd verse, here, comin’ through wit, almost like, runnin’ through them muddy streets; gotta feel it! “Eat these tracks up fa a hobby!” My Rating: 4.3

17. “Getting Money” Feat. Moneyboy
I dunno how we gon end this… If this tha person who I think it iz on tha feature, then, they’re greedy. More on that if it’s them. But, I’m not really a fan of this title, despite tha good business, so far… Once people have robbed me, in tha past, no matter what I check out, I just can’t deal wit “money”-related shit… >>> Yea, this pretty stale fa me, wit tha hook’s “money” content, despite it bein’ Damage… Here’s Damage on tha 1st verse, comin’ through, “on a money mission;” *yawn…* But, I have ta give props ta tha “pants hangin’ to tha flo’;” at least there’s saggin’, but I think tha “money” did that. Go ‘head and sag on them haterz! And yea, this tha same Money Boy I was thinkin’ of… SMH: Last year, I wanted him to appear on my mixtape, and he was like, “You gotta pay me to be on it;” I don’t fuck wit that greediness, especially when he asked me fa somethin’, too! Seems like I keep gettin’ a lose/win situation wit people? So, wit that bein’ said, no feedback on tha cocky 2nd verse! Uncalled-for feature… Anyway, Goldie on tha 3rd verse; great voice, but not really my kinda content, of course… My Rating: 3.1

Overall: Turned out to be a great CD! I was diggin’ tha 1st ½ a lil’ more than tha 2nd ½, but y’all did a great job wit this one! Keep pumpin’ out tha great jamz! And, always have Dernishia on yo side!!

Review #1,393: FrankieThaLuckyDog Presents "Tha Louisiana Archives Vol. 17: Tha Survivor’s Cave (Hosted by FrankieThaLuckyDog)"

Reviewed on 3.22.2014 (Review #1,393)

A couple reviewz ta do, right now… First up, it’s FrankieThaLuckyDog Presents Tha Louisiana Archives Vol. 17: Tha Survivor’s Cave (Hosted by FrankieThaLuckyDog)! Thank God that I survived doin’ tha mixtape compilations, after a low self-esteem and no positions booked, tha last time. Major props to Abe Son, from Boot Click Entertainment, fa helpin’ me out! He believed in my mixtapes, after seein’ me cry over it, durin’ my 2013 Louisiana Awards. And so, here we are! I got 17 positions booked, along with Lil’ Ken helpin’ out wit a bonus, and also, I threw in a few bonus jointz! I named this mixtape compilation after visiting a cave, and for tha survival of doin’ Tha Louisiana Archives. Now, lemme review this! Just so you know, I barely have heard any of these tracks. Just ‘cause I hosted, blended, and put this all together, doesn’t mean that I listened to tha tracks! For submission, I screened about 30 seconds of each track. When blending, I usually checked tha endings/beginnings of each joint. I also scanned their BPMs, so I placed songs in various positions, accordin’ to tha BPMs. Start Time: 10:07 AM | End Time: 11:17 AM

After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

01. FrankieThaLuckyDog “Intro: Almost Gone, But Always Here…”
Like tha intro says, I survived! >>> I put a heartbeat in tha background, to show myself be in jeopardy, with this mixtape compilation… My Rating: N/A

02. Jiggaman “I’m The Jiggaman”
Gorillaville Records, here… Though I added this on my iTunes last month, it failed to chart on my playlist, due to DJ B-Real blocking me. Almost every Louisiana track I got around that time/had in rotation was prevented from puttin’ in work on my playlist. However, now that this iz on here, it may have a chance in tha future? We’ll see. Lemme give it a full listen, now… >>> A Modiggidy Beats beat, here, and ya gotta luv how hyped-up this iz!! Of course, pure “jiggin’” hook! And, tha 1st verse’s pretty nice, as always, wit him! I like tha questions as tha adlibs on tha hook: “Who you iz?” “Oh, fa’real?” Good shit! And, of course, tha drug-related shit ta get you in tha mood on tha 2nd verse! Like he (and I) said, “Opelousas in this bitch!” Yeah, “Jiggaman,” you “chew dem bitches up,” on tha 3rd verse; chomp, chomp! I like how I slowed it down at tha end! My Rating: 4.7

03. GT Da Boss Feat. High Risk “1000”
Hustle Hard Music Group, here; surprised this was submitted to me, all ‘cause I didn’t know GT was cool wit my boy, Abe Son. Also, I always give Skull Duggrey credit fa bein’ tha one that introduced me to tha sayin’, “1000;” he would always say it to me, when gettin’ off tha phone! My Current Rating: 4.4

04. Outlaw Muzik “Outer Space”
Outlaw Muzik in tha buildin’, here… They just dropped their debut album/mixtape, which I finna review after this mixtape of mine. Outlaw Muzik consists of Goldie, Damage & JT (f.k.a. J.T. The Creeper, or J.T. The Louisiana Boi). Tha three of them spent their time on Real Profit Entertainment, but are now with Outlaw Muzik, courtesy of Dernishia, who’s a great vice president and manager! Now, I screened this previously, and it was a great first listen! Now, lemme give it tha review! >>> Beat sounds nice, and a nice hook, here; all about bein’ “outer space,” just like myself, when it comes to havin’ Asperger’s! My Rating: 4.6

05. Lit’Mark Feat. Lil’ Handy “Evil Look”
A Guerrilla Squad Entertainment presentation, here… This, I know iz good, so I’m lookin’ forward to peepin’ it out! >>> Taken from Lil’ Handy’s “Cut The Lights On” joint, which it sounds nice as a hook sample! Plus, this beat’s a lil’ bit of a remake of that beat! Wow @ tha 1st verse from Lit’Mark: Definitely feelin’ tha jammin’, jiggin’-like vibe!! Crazy shit from Baton Rouge; jammin’-ass shit!! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too; crazy, consistent, great-paced flow!! “Ghost Town” in tha buildin’, too? Nice!! Sounds like my boy, Yung Yola, on tha 2nd verse wit tha “err-body ___” shit, like his latest song, “Everybody Thuggin’”! Real-great 1st listen fa me, here!! My Rating: 4.8

06. Big Dre “Baton Vietnam”
He’s got newer music out, but I liked this particular track. Slauter House Entertainment in tha buildin’, here, and I got into Big Dre after seein’ Calie Frankz post a pic of him on Instagram that it was his birthday. I followed him, and became more of a fan from tha amount of “shittin’ pics” he had; he a shitaholic, and I love it, lol! So, this got added, but failed to chart on my playlist ‘cause of tha B-Real-blocking that went on. But, it’s here, and lemme give it my review! >>> A lil’ slower vibe, here, fa tha intro, but ya gotta feel tha street shit he spittin’! Nice real rhymes from Dre on tha 1st verse, here. I like how he says tha hook part at tha end of tha 1st verse, and then, gets screwed on tha hook; nice combo! Tha 2nd verse’s pretty nice, too; good shit! He sounds a lil’ bit like $hizz, wit tha voice… My Rating: 4.5

07. Shakeback King “On My Shit”
Sponsored by Bread Truck Records! I know this iz a real catchy one—prolly, tha best one Abe Son sent me! Lookin’ forward to tha official, full first listen! >>> A Piper beat, here; didn’t recognize tha beat when I was blendin’ this together! But, I’m feelin’ tha hook a lot! I like that line a lot: “Mane, I’m on my shit, I think I need a pamper on me!” Damn, that “shit” smell’s strong! Wonder if he got shittin’ pics? Neva saw a pic of this dude, also… Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice; consistent, Baton Rouge-like flow that I luv! See, no Rick Ross/mainstream-like flows on my mixtapes!! Tha 2nd verse’s nice; nice “suckin’,” sex scene-like lyrics, mixed wit tha streetz, lol! I feel like “I’m on my shit” ‘cause of all tha business I’m doin’, outta nowhere, as well as gettin’ a job! And wow, tha beat changed up a lil’ bit, durin’ tha 3rd verse! Nice, hypnotic sounds fa tha 1st ½ of tha 3rd verse! LOL @ me on tha outro: “Pamper-smellin’ joint!” My Rating: 4.7

08. Geronimo Feat. Young Biz “What It’s Hitting Foe”
A Town Bound Entertainment presentation, here… Like I say on tha intro, “Tha next Gates?” Literally, when Abe sent me this, I had no idea who it was (‘cause of tha not-labeled file), and I was like, “I dunno if I can put Gates on here ‘cause he mainstream.” However, it’s this dude, Geronimo, and here I go wit tha review!! >>> Surprised that most of these jointz on this mixtape are less than three minutes long! Anyway, beat sounds nice, here, and it’s a “lean epidemic” on tha 1st verse, wit this Gates dude! He even said, “Feelin’ some type of way,” like it was Gates freestylin’ ova Rich Homie Quan! Tha hook’s pretty catchy, too; diggin’ tha title part… Tha 2nd verse from Young Biz’s pretty hood; I’m definitely diggin’ his voice! Pretty much like a Baton Rouge hyena!! Beat’s a lil’ plain, at times, but there’s some good sounds that keeps it on-n-poppin’! My Rating: 4.5

09. B-Teze Feat. Gutta & Lil’ Chris “Get ‘Em”
Souljamade Entertainment in tha buildin’ wit this one! B-Teze sent me his two tracks tha very last minute, and I held off wit mixin’ this tape together ‘til I got “‘em!” I didn’t even screen ‘em ‘cause I know he always comes through wit tha tracks, and I don’t have to worry ‘bout nothin’! >>> “K-Bone” as tha producer? Feelin’ this undaground, hidden treasure-like Ghost Town music, lol! Nice 1st verse, here; pretty gutta, right? Dude even got “Souljamade Entertainment tatted on [his] sleeve!” A grimy B-Teze voice before tha 2nd verse’s here; pretty serious wit them gunshots in tha background! And, tha 2nd verse’s pretty serious, too, from Mr. Teze! His throat must be so sore afta recording!! LOL @ “most niggaz where I’m from, like cigarettes, get smoked,” or whateva that line was; pretty serious! Tha 3rd verse’s pretty nice, too! No need fa a hook, here; just some tight, 225/Baton Rouge/Ghosttown verses!! My Rating: 4.7

10. Young MoMo “Deadwrong”
From tha Baton Rouge Bandits label, here… I forgot how this went, but I think it’s good; lemme hear… >>> Sounds like a cartoon sample wit tha, “Bang, bang! Bang, bang!,” in tha background; catchy! Bugs Bunny, anyone, lol? Tha hook’s pretty nice wit this pure-soundin’ street beat! “Shoot you up like heron;” scary! I only say that ‘cause I lost a 30-year-old cousin ta that! Tha 1st verse’s good; rhymes ain’t too bad, here, but at least tha flow’s on! I like tha “dirty city in tha dirty south” start ta tha 2nd verse, here… Ooh, “some new Girbauds;” glad he fuckin’ wit them ‘Bauds!! I always wear ‘em, and am still on tha hunt fa ‘em! Also, “225” in tha buildin’, here! Tha 2nd verse sounds much betta fa me, here!! I’m feelin’ this much more than I thought! I made it end pretty nice, too! My Rating: 4.6

11. Killa Sounz “Junk”
New Go Get It Music in tha buildin’! Got Killa Sounz on my IG, and he even shittin’! Caught my attention, and he even submitted to tha mixtape, due to us connecting! Legendary producer in tha undaground of Baton Rouge who’s produced for Yung Yola, and’s a part of tha Flippa Boyz! This joint’s not even two minutes long, but it’s a banga! Lemme give it tha full first listen! >>> Nice transition from tha ending of tha previous joint ta this quiet beat start! Sounds pretty nice, includin’ this bein’ an “ass” anthem! Almost sounds like Sims coulda had this joint… Tha only verse on this joint (I guess ‘cause it was sent to me as a snippet), and it’s nice; beat’s kinda plain, but its simpleness iz catchy, so that’s all that matters, here! Random guitar at 1:32, lol? I like tha ending, too! And, I have an outro, too… “Keep openin’ dat asshole up of yours, and keep shittin’ on dem bitch-ass haterz out there, who can’t handle your ones!” My Rating: 4.4

½time: Pretty mint, so far; definitely diggin’ it!! So far, this review’s worth a 4.6 fa me!! Really luvin’ all tha sent material, as I barely heard most of tha artists or jointz!! Abe Son really did a nice job helpin’ me out, and these artists are definitely what’s poppin’, fa me!! No depressin’, boring, jigg-hatin’ people, here!!

12. Mike Guy The Truth & FrankieThaLuckyDog “Just Chill”
A collaboration right chea, between Armed & Ready Entertainment, as well as my label, Lucky Dogz Entertainment! Mike Guy, outta Saint Joseph, LA, hit me up on Facebook, and wrote a track for me. However, because tha original lyrics were not all my personal rappin’ style, I had asked that we make this a collaboration, and that I’m featured. It turned out that I switched some of my lyrics, added my own lyrics on his verse, and even wound up producing and puttin’ it together, myself. I’ve heard it a few times, already, and, Mike did his verse on his phone; I like his voice a lot, when it comes ta rappin’! Gotta luv my added parts; tried ta come vicious, fillin’ in some parts! Because of tha constant, cold weather, I decided to make my parts about it bein’ cold out. And, tha “abandoned dungeon,” I’m referrin’ to Kings Park Psychiatric Center, which iz “abandoned!” Check out some pics (click each one to make it bigger):

As far as me on tha 2nd verse, it’s whateva; I didn’t write tha whole thang, so I couldn’t really express extra shit. At least I had tha 1st verse ta do some of dat! “Autistic to tha bone; no clone in what I do!” I hope to get that “2nd album” goin’, and when I say, “R.I.P. ta no one,” I’m referrin’ ta me neva losin’ anyone outside of tha family that I knew. Of course, that means, “My land ain’t die, like erosion;” “erosion”’s when people ruin land, and it changes its look… “I only bathe in tha frozen;” I hate this cold-ass weather!! My Current Rating: 4.7

13. $hop With Ken, YB & Scotty Cain Feat. Lil’ Boosie “Murder Crew (Remix)”
F.Y.N.I.C.—Forever Young Entertainment, here… I have tha original version on my playlist, which I only added ‘cause Ken’s rappin’ on it. I neva thought it would go further than that, but it did. However, I spiced it up on this mixtape and added tha remix. I dunno if it’s considered an official original version, or a remix, but I consider it both, at times. My Current Rating: 4.6

14. BluBlack Feat. Hannibal & Ar’Jay “Don’t F.W.M.”
Black Noise Records, here… Tha 3rd failed-to-enter-my-playlist-add-when-B-Real-blocked-me joint to appear on this mixtape… Though I’m glad it got submitted onto here, I don’t think it’s one of tha more exciting ones on this mixtape. Here goes my full review for it… >>> No offense, but I don’t like that voice on tha hook; sorry, Ar’Jay. Kinda awkward and sounds like it’s yearnin’ fa somethin’, ova a “Don’t Fuck With Me” title… Anyway, Hannibal on tha 1st verse, and at least there’s a good flow, here; good shit fa tha “Lane!” Beat’s okay, here, too; not much happenin’, at times… Thought that was Ar’Jay on tha 2nd verse? Maybe, it iz; wow, I’m so lost… However, I like how tha beat reversed at 1:46! Pretty catchy, or wait, Blu, iz that you? Can’t believe I’m confused, even though I put this on YouTube… Neva mind, it was Blu; sounds nice and morphed wit my pitch increase, here… Ar’Jay singin’ on tha bridge, here, afta tha 3rd hook… Kinda random, though it’s like, ehh, not really tha kinda voice fa this track. I liked tha whole The Big Picture CD betta than this joint, pretty much. Their new CD, FUPM, iz comin’ soon! My Rating: 3.7

15. Geronimo “Nothing 2 Lose”
Here’s tha 1st repeat artist; let’s see what this one sounds like, again… >>> This sounds nice wit tha Gates voice! Nice, good shit on tha 1st verse! “Stay your ground!” “I ain’t got nothin’ ta lose; all I got iz my word and my guide!” You already know, Geronimo! Definitely see a future in this dude!! Tha 2nd verse’s pretty good, too! “They lyin’ through they teeth; I’m a lion through tha beat,” or whateva, was definitely a nice line!! Gutta shit at its finest, fa tha streetz, here!! My Rating: 4.7

16. Spyda “By All Means”
An unsigned artist from Donaldsonville… >>> An okay start, here… Lyrics just sound like consistent rhymes, though they’re not special, fa me. A lil’ bit on tha mainstream tip, at times… Tha hook’s okay; here, we hear “swag,” for tha 1st time, on this mixtape; ehh… Tha 2nd verse’s okay, too; needs to be a lil’ catchier, but of course, it qualifies fa this mixtape, so it’s not terrible, ya dig? My Rating: 3.6

17. Hue Green “Like U Want Me”
Boot Click Entertainment, here… I remember blendin’ this together, and I have a feelin’ that this gon be my least-favorite track on this mixtape… >>> Yea, this repetitive hook and this beat ain’t that excitin’, fa me… Tha 1st verse’s whateva; more for tha ladies, here, but I’m not really feelin’ tha lyrics… I guess, tha good thing about gettin’ paid to be on here iz that there’s no bad memories; I won’t regret this! Wow @ tha 2nd verse’s start: “Lemme eat you like some seafood;” ouch! LOL! And, anotha “J. Holiday” reference; heard that dude be referenced in a previous review I did, not too long ago. However, that was for his “Bed”; this song has “Suffocate”, lol… My Rating: 3.2 (lowest-rated Tha Louisiana Archives song entry, eva? Unless I had a freestyle or somethin’, instead…? No offense…)

18. GT Da Boss “The Other Side”
A lil’ slower… GT doin’ a multi-personality job, here, between tha rappin’ and tha singin’… My Current Rating: 3.8

19. Lit’Mark Feat. Cee-Jay “Been Up, Been Down”
>>> This tha Young Hustla-produced track; couldn’t even remember it, at first… Either way, nice beat, and this anotha song about strugglin’, accordin’ to tha hook; at least tha beat’s pretty tight, this time… Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice; I’m feelin’ tha flow, once again; Lit’Mark really doin’ his thang!! Hope he stays active, especially wit me! So, Cee-Jay’s rappin’ on tha 2nd verse, here? I thought he was tha singer… Anyway, this ain’t too bad; regular rappin’ fa me, here… My Rating: 3.9

20. B-Teze Feat. Lil’ Jeff, Gutta & Noonie “Cuttin’ Up”
Lookin’ forward, once again; Ghosttown in tha buildin’! >>> I fixed tha volumes up, but this one averaged out to a quieter volume… Anyway, catchy hook; Baton Rouge’s hood at its finest!! Luv tha jigg vibe, too! Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice, too! “Souljamade” in tha buildin’, of course! Consistent, Ville Boyz-like 1st verse, here, and you gotta feel it! You can’t stop “rollin’” or reppin’ tha hood fa this “Ghosttown” anthem! Tha 2nd verse’s pretty gutta, here; really feelin’ tha voice!! “Got it tatted on my stomach;” what a representa fa “Souljamade,” here! Gotta feel it!! This tha kinda shit I luv; can’t deny it, and they neva come through soft, on this! No dickridin’, overrated Cain people, here!! Tha 3rd verse’s pretty nice, here; such greatness!! I don’t know who’s who on this, but you already know that a semi-blind review like this definitely passes, fa me!! Nice endin’ from me, wit that slowed shit! My Rating: 4.7

21. Outlaw Muzik “I Get Off”
Can’t wait to get to their whole CD, later! >>> Sounds nice wit Damage on tha hook! My Rating: 4.6

22. Shakeback King “My Feelings”
Endin’ it wit this… Lemme see which side this falls on, fa me; good or sappy? >>> Yea, just like my outro says, I hope I get some people to submit fa tha next one, too, and tha future editions! Nice voice, here; kinda Soulja Slim-like, and I only say that ‘cause, I think if I remember right, tha hook has a Slim sample? Oh yea, tha hook’s pretty nice; sounds like some future-classic-like Soulja Slim shit! Tha voice’s definitely like his, and it’s great for tha hood! Tha beat also sounds like it samples somethin’… Tha 2nd verse’s good, too; tha “streets” definitely have ta appreciate this! Damn @ “a nigga stole my car;” that’s rough! “Now, look at ya gun, and think about it;” streetacular…! A 3rd verse, here… Yea, “some soulja shit;” goes wit Soulja Slim! He shouted out “Bread Truck,” too, here, so he representin’ fa his label! A semi-soundin’, Phil Collins “In The Air Tonight”-like shit at tha end, wit tha, “I can feel it…” My Rating: 4.5

Overall: Damn, this CD’s over? I thought it neva was gonna end! Just great how I put it together, and tha jointz were definitely nice, here! Lots of great new artists fa me ta look forward to, and tha only place you gon continue ta hear them iz with me! Yea, until they, wheneva, release any debut albums/mixtapes! Let’s make Vol. 18 anotha success! This will go down as one of my favorite releases from me!

Review #1,030: Gangsta Gumbo Presents "Gangsta Gumbo Vol. 5: Still Up 5 Nothin'"

Reviewed on 7.11.2011 (Review #1,030)

A lil’ late by a ½ day, but betta late than neva. Currently not online yet, I’m about ta review Jimmy The DJ’s latest mixtape compilation! Under Gangsta Gumbo, it’s “Gangsta Gumbo Vol. 5: Still Up 5 Nothin’”; no host? Wasn’t it ‘pose ta be someone like B.G.? Also, it has been 649 reviewz ago that I reviewed Vol. 4, lol! Start Time: 10:51 AM | End Time: 1:10 PM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. Kevin Gates “Intro”
Oh, okay; I guess semi-hosted, then? Should be interestin’, although only eight seconds? >>> LOL, it was so short but spicy ‘cause it was ‘bout dat “gangsta gumbo!” My Rating: N/A

02. Kevin Gates “Gangsta Gumbo Freestyle”
Should be interestin’; recorded by phone? Lemme hear! >>> Damn, soooooo much in only 27 seconds, so far!! Not even by phone; how’d this happen when he’s locked up?! One of tha best freestyles in a longgg-ass time!!! Lots of “sandwich” things, here; he definitely goin’ nuts… well, nuts on tha mic, wit a regular voice, lol! SMH @ tha two-second silence at tha end of each one, though; there’s an option to put no silence at tha end when burnin’ CDs. My Rating: 4.9

03. Level “Hot Spot”
It gon be like a “hot spot” today and tomorrow, peakin’ in tha ‘90s! I was tryna get a freestyle last night and sweatin’, so I didn’t get ta review this last night ‘cause of tha heat. But, here I am!! >>> LOL, now, he has a water bucket as tha beat background? Funny; too bad he ain’t hittin’ me back wit doin’ a freestyle and drop for my radio show. You know, I’m startin’ ta get lazy wit caring; rather get someone that can answer me! I dunno if I should comment on tha verses, here, ‘cause everything’s, like, tha same. Of course, tha rhymes are catchy for tha ladies; I’ll leave it at dat. My Rating: 4.5

04. Louisiana Ca$h Feat. Quick, Money Bagz & INFO “I’m From Louisiana”
You may spell his name wit “$” but I think it’s wit a “z”. Anyway, not too long ago, I heard this, and it seems to be a big anthem; much betta than tha “Dip” song! Thumbs up fa tha crazy-ass, Louisianaful hook, ya dig? Thumbs up ta Ca$h fa breakin’ down what it’s like when you’re in “Louisiana;” hope my waiting of gettin’ ta “Louisiana” ends soon! Money Bagz may have been good/decent wit tha 1st ½ of tha 2nd verse, but Quick, lol? LOL @ Quick on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse; what crazy shit he spittin’ wit tha “cook crack/same what we cook gumbo in!” INFO’s pretty nice for a newbie on tha 3rd verse; good shit from you, especially tha self-esteem he has!! My Current Rating: 4.7

05. B.G. Feat. G.A. & Tay-Lo “Ride”
New song? Thumbs up for tha longer lengths; I think that adds good luck to a mixtape when there’s no mixin’, lol? I like ‘em both wayz but for you, it seems dat I’m likin’ tha CD a lot more when there’s no mixin’. >>> Ooh, this iz new; thought Gar was on tha feature, at first, lol. I’m really enjoyin’ tha dark-ass vibe in tha beat as well as tha “down bad” theme for tha hook! Good shit goin’ on wit tha 1st verse; thumbs up fa this actual-underground-soundin’ song from a mainstream rapper (B.G.)!! B.G. sounds pretty nice and gutta wit tha deeper-soundin’ voice on tha 2nd verse; much betta than tha good/typical shit I’m used ta hearin’, these dayz! Tha 3rd verse iz pretty gutta, too; this definitely iz dat official shit!!! My Rating: 4.8

06. 2ooley Feat. Lil’ One “Marlo Mike”
Good looks on havin’ tha feature on tha ID (in this case, Lil’ One = Lil’ One Da Ryder)! I actually had to do a manual check when I aired it on my radio show ‘cause you know I have a dignity rule: No song airs unless I know all tha artists’s names! Sounds like a new song everytime I hear it; such character in 2ooley’s voice wit all dat roarin’ on tha hook, lol!! One of tha more-soundin’ gangsta songs that’s out now! I’m expected ta be in one of his upcomin’ music videos, too; all about exposure!! Good shit from 2ooley, of course, on tha 1st verse; luvin’ his own tooley, lol! Lil’ One Da Ryder’s pretty nice on tha 2nd verse; this iz much betta fa him than tha shit I’ve heard on one of his CDs, so this iz a plus fa him. …I guess that’s him on tha 3rd verse? A lil’ confused… I think he’s on tha 3rd verse; not sure what’s goin’ on wit tha 2nd verse but tha 3rd verse iz pretty nice, too, wit tha content. Damn, mega fuck-up? Why tha last 40 seconds iz silence? Did it not register correctly on tha CD? My Current Rating: 4.6

07. Young Ready “Deebo Bounce”
I didn’t even realize “Bounce” was a part of tha title. When I aired it on my radio show for you, I was thinkin’ it meant “bounce” from bouncin’ a track? I’m glad I went tha safe route, though. Looks like Young Ready luvs tha lucky spot of #7 on tha CD? I remember on Vol. 2, “Cock, Aim, Shoot” was #7, too! Now, lemme do a lil’ review for this! >>> Thumbs up fa Savage producin’; sounds like some of tha omega-soundin’ shit I’m used ta hearin’ from people! Such a catchy hook wit tha “Deebo” shit! Tha 1st verse sounds pretty entertainin’; you know Ready’s all up fa anythang! Luv tha cockiness!! LOL @ tha “hoe”-related shit on tha 2nd verse; seems like Ready has everything on lock? Happy ‘late’ birthday, too! Thumbs up fa tha “’all day’ like T-Lo” part; you know you got BR blood in ya if you know “All Day” before “Uh Oh”! Tha 3rd verse iz a combination of tha 1st and 2nd verses; nothin’ but dat dumb shit! My Rating: 4.5

08. Lil’ Cali Feat. Level & Tank Jones “Money Right”
LOL. Due to one of tha things on tha track, it’s pretty much a novelty to me, but I’ll keep tha same rating; glad this iz tha version where each verse iz a full verse! My Current Rating: 4.9

09. Sess 4-5 “Hunnit Jeez A Month”
Really likin’ tha spellin’, here! How will Nuttin’ But Fire Records do on this compilation? >>> Sounds like a cool song; fits good wit tha “Money Right”—tha N.O. version! Nice job wit tha 1st verse; you know what it iz when you fuckin’ wit Sess 4-5! Tha 2nd verse iz also pretty catchy, but “a hunnit jeez a month”? Sounds like a hard mission but can be stereotyped as one of those fantasy thoughts. Tha reason I don’t get “a hunnit jeez a month” iz ‘cause a bunch of non-serious people don’t do frequent business wit me. Or, they hide away; I’m not a fan of uncalled-for secrets, too; makes me feel less of an upcoming, growing person. My Rating: 4.3

10. One-i Feat. Max Minelli “Don’t Have To Like Me”
Liked tha “Sick Wit It” dayz; let’s warp ta 2011 wit this new joint! >>> Ooh, Stevie Drumma on tha beat but why tha dumb-ass “The Boss” beat tag in tha beginning (J.R. Rotem’s beat tag)? Sounds like a tight beat, regardless, as well as this H-Town/screwed-and-chopped-soundin’ hook! One-i’s comin’ through wit some tight, focused shit on tha 1st verse; thumbs up fa always comin’ through on tha Gangsta Gumbo mixtapes, One-i! Max’s on tha 2nd verse and it’s all about “luvin’ [yourself];” most definitely! LOL @ One-i on tha 3rd verse; definitely luvin’ himself! Good job wit this joint, too! Looks like this finna be a five-star-rated CD? My Rating: 4.4

½time: Wow, this seems like a real hot mixtape!! Of course, I thought it was gonna be hot, but it’s, like, 10-for-10 when it comes ta seriousness (kinda 9-for-9 since tha intro wasn’t a song)!! Wanna know what tha CD rating iz, currently? It’s 4.6; major moves!!!!!!

11. Terror (Down Bad) Feat. Young Ready & Lee Bank$ “Baton Rouge Thang”
I heard this on DJ 5150’s latest mixtape compilation and I thought this was somethin’ serious; defeated “I’m From Louisiana” when it came to tha ranking! Didn’t know “thang” was in tha title; smh @ their error (which also, they didn’t have “Ready” in Young Ready’s name). Wouldn’t’ve expected a Down Bad-type song ta make your mixtape but this iz dat A+-type shit!! Terror’s such a character wit his “hit tha muthafuckin’ blunt!!!” on tha hook!!! Also, when he’s rappin’ on tha 1st verse, it sounds like some Tupac/’90s-sampled music on tha beat’s keys!! Oh, I keep forgettin’ tha “blunt” part was just tha intro. But, tha hook’s pretty nice wit tha “windmill” shit (I think that’s what he’s sayin’); go, Terror!! Ready’s comin’ through wit some hyperness, plus sirens, on tha kick-ass 2nd verse!! Lee Banks iz someone good on this song, too. Although he had R&B music when I reviewed him, he’s pretty serious on this shit, which iz a big plus! My Current Rating: 4.8

12. Lil’ Ganggsta “All Fucked Up”
Glad he’s on here! Looks like err-body I’ve loved iz on this mixtape in a great way!! >>> Beat from Wodieson; let’s see how this new joint gon turn out! Volume sounds a lil’ lower than tha previous songs. LOL, catchy hook; what else iz there ta say? “My mind always alert,” no matter what tha case iz; I always prove ta people dat I have tha brains in any situation! LOL @ his “rollin’” obsession on tha 1st verse; I wonder what date and time he started dat shit? I think it’s creative if people remember date and time! For example: On June 10, 2011 @ 8:55 PM, I witnessed someone snort cocaine for tha 1st time; had ta look at my phone’s time, ya dig? Good shit, here, Ganggsta; keep tha rappin’ brain up!! Tha 2nd verse sounds like an obstacle course dat Ganggsta has ta cross. However, he stayin’ alive fa a long-ass time!! My Rating: 4.3

13. Dog Da Cutthroata Feat. Foxx “Intoxicated (Remix)”
I like to call this a remix, although it might fit in tha “To The Max” category, where there was an added verse to make it an official version. Surprised he made your CD, too; lots of 2009-discovered people comin’ through in a nice way, here! Sounds like a funny song; you know Dog has his own flow and it’s catchy, especially wit all tha “intoxicated”-ass shit, lol! Up, Foxx said it was a remix; guess it’s official… Why does tha quality in tha audio not sound as good? I know I have this; I think mine was a better quality? Glad Foxx came through, though, ‘cause his energy makes tha track hot, too! LOL, didn’t realize I rated this as high as 4.7; I guess ‘cause I rated tha original version between 4.5 and 4.6. My Current Rating: 4.7

14. Dee-1 “Blue”
Huh? He’s on tha back cover, too? Thought I saw his face but I had to think I was 23 years-old and not 19 when thinkin’ about it! He betta’ve paid you for it! I don’t see why there’s tha attention (even following on Twitter, too)? Even my grandma thought that was weird when I sadly, and ironically, brought y’all up yesterday. If someone hasn’t talked to me in at least two years, why get their attention outta nowhere? They need to ‘cause then, you can give them a WTF look. As Alexia told me, “I think u should stop communicating wit him,” which should include caring, in a serious way. Prolly could’ve made this #13 but I guess it took an unlucky 13 to get to this, anyway. I realized, tha 1st time I talked to you, you were 23 years-old and now, I am. However, I dunno if it’s ‘cause it’s 2011 or whateva, but I don’t take shit from anyone, anymore. Plus, I don’t give a shit about anyone, anymore, unless they give a shit about me in person. By havin’ this perspective, this iz why my status iz higher and why I’m gettin’ ta travel/do events. Gee, no wonder why I didn’t go to Louisiana last year: dealt wit a bunch of fake people between resurrections and unexpectations, didn’t earn any money networking since 2008, buried myself in a bunch of shitty-ass reviewz, and I gave a fuck about people. >>> Wow, talk about a complete deal-breaker from tha previous song’s intros…; you weren’t on any drugs while addin’ this song, were you? Regardless, I think this iz pretty nice wit tha rhymes and tha beat’s startin’ ta sound good. Tha sample ain’t even too bad, either. Regardless, who cares what I say ‘cause he ain’t gonna read this, anyway. ROFL, what happened at 2:23? Random yellin’ that I’m likin’! LOL, a whole verse fulla tha word “dawg;” neva would’ve expected dat comin’! But yea, actually like this; forget all tha shit I doubted in tha beginning but on tha real, I could’ve at least earned somethin’ from Dee-1 by now. My Rating: 4.4

15. Preach, Ace, C-Love, Bro-Bro, Lil’ J, Puppy, Delwin The Krazyman & Ceddybu “Pulling Off”
LOL, I knew of what song this was based off tha length. I thought Nu$$ie was gonna be on it but it’s cool ta see all these random people; wonder how everyone gon sound like? >>> Big Josh doin’ tha beat, here; it’s all luv ta have tha Nu$$ie/Big Fancy team as producers! LOL @ tha hook; sounds like an Obama speech, in a really random way. LOL, was this where tha title of tha mixtape came from? I heard, “we still up, five nothin’,” or somethin’ like dat. Anyway, this 1st verse iz pretty good, minus tha random “Nu$$ie!!!” ad-libs (why am I still writin’ that in 2011? Wasn’t I 20 when it was cool ta see dat written?)… LOL, a new Ace? Not even tha one from G-Lane or tha one I heard from New Orleans? LOL, but I’m really likin’ tha anger and seriousness he bringin’ to tha table! LOL, tha ID’s so long, I thought Bro-Bro was next, but it’s this C-Love dude, comin’ through wit some catchiness… Bro-Bro’s on tha 4th verse, of course, comin’ through wit some catchy, 225-type shit! LOL, by tha way, once again, where did tha 1st three mysterious dudes come from? Were they hidden people or are they newbies? Lil’ J’s comin’ through on tha 5th verse (I spell him as “Lil’ J” ‘cause I think there was a Lil’ Jay from New Orleans, who dropped a “Gold Teeth Gator” CD in 2001); pretty quick… Tha 6th hook changed ta Puppy and it’s too much of jackin’ wit tha quoting; really should leave tha quoting alone. I was walkin’ down tha block yesterday, and I was thinkin’ dat tha best way ta make a song iz to not quote people; just consider yourself underrated and come up wit your own shit. Puppy does sound pretty good on tha 6th verse, though; not too bad… Hope Delwin ain’t too Nu$$ie-cocky on tha 7th verse… Actually, it’s pretty catchy wit tha crazy shit he spittin’, lol. Oh, not likin’ tha “Nu$$ie!!!”-imitated “Delwin!!!” ad-lib. Final verse… Round 8: Ceddybu, comin’ through wit some crazy flow and dat voice, lol! Much betta ta hear him on somethin’ like this but then again, I haven’t heard much of him, yet; I feel like I’ve talked ta him more than tha amount of songs I’ve heard from him. My Rating: 4.6

16. Damage Feat. Level “Still An Alcoholic”
LOL, guess you got tha e-mail from Joe (MMX), too? Oh yea, I keep forgettin’ about tha Real Profit Entertainment/Gangsta Gumbo collaboration/combination. Don’t think I got ta peep out tha remix (to tha original “Alcoholic” song), yet; I aired a different song he sent me onto my radio show not too long ago. >>> Sounds like a brand-new production, too; somethin’ serious, here!! Glad you got some Damage on here; good hook, too! Definitely fits in a great position to where “Nutcase” was on Vol. 2 (#15); perfect fiting, once again! Good shit comin’ from tha hyper-soundin’ Damage, here; thumbs-tha-fuck-up!! Level’s on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit a 2011 perspective, here; definitely tha shit when he keeps shit up!! Yea, Damage comin’ through on tha 3rd verse, too; nothin’ but some good shit goin’ on; gotta luv tha consistency dat doesn’t stop!! My Rating: 4.7

17. C-Loc “Excuse Me Sir”
This looks like somethin’ serious, too! Let’s see how his polite-ass (lol) gon do, here! >>> LOL, a Wodie beat fa C-Loc? Good look fa 2011! Hopefully, if Loc still has tha same numba, I would like ta get a freestyle from him for my radio show and a drop (or maybe an interview instead of tha freestyle). LOL, tha hook’s pretty nice—polite and kick-assness, lol! Sounds like a good mix, includin’ tha 1st verse, where there’s some good rhymes and punchlines goin’ on. LOL, some of this iz startin’ ta sound cheesy fa me; 2nd verse only aight, since tha cheese iz startin’ ta mix in… My Rating: 4.1

18. Lil’ Witness Feat. Young Bleed “Let Me In”
Original version? Heard tha remix 1st and now, an original version? Am I thinkin’ right? I have a feelin’ they gon sound tha same… >>> Yea, this iz tha same version I heard, even though I don’t think “remix” should be in tha previous ID I heard this on. Anyway, just like tha previous review, I gon re-review it now: Like tha intro wit tha conversation, tha kick-ass beat, tha nice hook about openin’ a door (lol), and you know dat Witness’s comin’ through wit tha crazy-ass shit in tha 1st verse!! Of course, Bleed sounds good on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit dat hood shit, as always! And, ta end it off, Witness’s comin’ through wit some mo good shit fa tha ears out there! My Current Rating: 4.7

19. J.R. Feat. Lil’ Cali “Helluva Night”
LOL @ tha “helluva” and “night”; interestin’… Didn’t even appear on J.R.’s “Street Dreams” album but it’s here/on tha CD he has wit Bic Jack & Dirty Harry! Plus, thumbs up fa havin’ him on tha back cover! He a real-ass dude; luvs talkin’ ta me and keeps up wit me, too! Catchy hook wit this Mod Productions beat, of course. He comes through on tha 1st verse in a nice way, too; gotta set tha mood, ya dig? And as for Cali, he comin’ through nicely fa J.R.; glad they’re connected like dis! Good job wit J.R. endin’ tha song off on tha 3rd verse; he really got his connects up, which iz a big plus for a real dude like him! My Current Rating: 4.4

20. D-Matic Feat. K.Gates & Young “Life On The Line”
I did some of tha editing on tha cut-offs wit tha tracks; let’s see if I can guess tha last song (wit 5:00 on tha length)… … …D-Matic? Wasn’t he ‘pose ta be on here? *Checks ID* It iz!! This looks so familiar on tha ID, but it ain’t comin’ up in my iTunes; lookin’ forward ta hearin’!! >>> Kinda nervous ta hear a beginnin’ beat like this; hope nothin’ gets jynxed… Okay, once tha hook came in, I knew it was gonna be on ‘n’ poppin’; great voice he has!! I feel bad; I think I got his # a year ago and neva got ta call him, yet. I need ta adjust myself a lil’ betta… Anyway, Young’s on tha ID 2nd but iz on tha 1st verse? Feelin’ what he spittin’ on this shit; very consistent!! This iz a nice way ta end this CD; I guess I should trust you when you say, “definitely our best, yet [Vol. 5]!” Tha 2nd verse sounds serious; tha flow’s aight but tha consistent lyrics are on, here! Tha 3rd verse sounds pretty serious, too; “lost so many pills,” he said? Either way, I’m definitely likin’ tha lyrics, once again. My Rating: 4.2

Overall: LOL, I didn’t subtract any extra time durin’ this review. My dad came through and my mom called me on tha phone. But yea, all tha songs were on ‘n’ poppin’; not one filler!! Congratulations on this shit! Props on puttin’ my logo on tha back cover; definitely appreciated! Tha CD case was a lil’ broken when I got it in tha mail, unfortunately, but havin’ tha hard copy iz what’s up! Also, thumbs up fa Ta-Ta-2ooley and Ganggsta also on tha back cover, too! You really won wit this; hope it looks good on your blog! I would suggest copyin’ tha link just in case I have ta fix things.
