01. Big Cheese (Da Outlaw) Drop
Gotta hear it! >>> Good energy; you know what it iz! Great job wit tha definition! My Rating: N/A

02. “Otha Shit”
Let’s start it off wit… >>> A Supa intro? Thought he was gonna be featured but sounds good wit this classic-soundin’ beat! Tha hook sounds pretty nice, too; great job wit tha Greg life, Greg, lol! Nice job wit what you’re bringin’ to tha 1st verse; nothin’ but dat tight “shit” fa tha streetz at all times! Tha 2nd verse sounds great, too; gotta feel tha energy you’re bringin’ to tha voice and rhymes!! Almost sounds like tha Beezy Bird “bow” in tha background, but it sounds like an “ow,” lol. Uh oh, “BiPolar” Greg on tha 3rd verse! Great job… Also, nice job wit Supa on tha outro, too! ROFL @ tha cold-ass ending! My Rating: 4.4

03. “No Game Show” Feat. Jab & Piz Corleone
Let’s hear what’s goin’ on wit this anti-“game show”, lol! >>> Ooh, really likin’ tha beat, here; reminds me of tha old-soundin’ Down Bad shit!! Really likin’ tha shit goin’ on wit tha 1st verse, Greg; great way of bein’ “married” to “[your] pistol!” Ooh, “game show”s are in tha 1st ½ of tha hook and really, “it ain’t a game” ta describe tha 2nd ½ of tha hook; definitely catchy as fuck, here!! Tha 2nd verse iz soundin’ off to a great start wit Jab on it! I like all tha “dawg” parts; definitely holdin’ it down, Jab! Piz sounds pretty good on tha 3rd verse; definitely feelin’ tha vibe, here, wit all this hyped-upness! Ooh, 1:47 left? Long outro comin’ up? Outro starts at 1:25; let’s see what’s goin’ on… Just hearin’ tha beat, currently… Nice job wit this beat outro! I could talk on this durin’ my radio show! My Rating: 4.8

04. “In My Own Zone”
Whoo!! You already know how I feel about this E.P.-produced track! Go, Greg! Go, Greg! Go, Greg! My Current Rating: 4.6

05. “Tap Out” Feat. Nip Cannon & Mel 985
Let’s see what’s good wit dis! >>> Sounds like a good, neutral-speed club song; nice hook. Good job wit tha first—or should I say, ffffffiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrsssssssstttttt verse, drunk style, lol. Tha 2nd verse iz soundin’ like it’s off to a good start wit Nip on it; “somebody catch [him],” lol. I like how this 3rd verse iz soundin’ (Mel?); good “rollin’” and all dat shit, lol! Tha hook almost sounds like Piz Corleone! Oh wait, Mel’s on tha 4th verse; thumbs up ta Nip (I guess?) on tha 3rd verse, though! I like tha family vibe, here; lol @ all tha drinks. I saw a flyer for somethin’ recently and it said $50 for a bottle of somethin’; kinda WTF for me? My Rating: 4.4

06. “Macked Out Party” Feat. Supa
Just you? >>> LOL @ tha beginning wit Supa; sounds like somethin’ anticipatin’, includin’ this King Arthur beat/sounds! Almost thought it was a familiar song but it iz featurin’ Supa on tha hook, here! LOL @ tha no source? Feelin’ what you bringin’ on tha 1st verse, Greg; thumbs up fa your energy, once again! Definitely a great anthem fa tha “Macked Out” Music clique! LOL @ you on tha 2nd verse: “Is You Wet Yet Wednesdays;” really? Damn, this breezed by pretty quick; nice energy and what you contributed, here!! My Rating: 4.6

07. “Seek & Destroy” Feat. Johnny Hustle
Looks pretty serious! >>> Likin’ tha intro; thought it was gonna be an R&B joint, lol. Pure hook; really feelin’ tha lyrics in tha hook!! Definitely a title like this goes a long way, ya dig? Also, feelin’ your seriousness on tha 1st verse, too! Ooh, “for them brick throwaz” on tha 2nd verse; definitely feelin’ everything you bringin’, he—“out tha window,” lol! J-Hustle’s spittin’ some pretty catchy shit on tha 3rd verse; thumbs up fa tha consistency in tha flow, too! My Rating: 4.6

08. “Problem Child”
What do we got, here? >>> Ooh, a King Arthur beat dat sounds like tha Early 2000s, a lil’! Gangsta lyrics comin’ from you, here; definitely feelin’ ‘em, of course! LOL @ tha “pull yo pants up” and “why you smokin’ cigarettes” part; I can’t picture y’all “smokin’ cigarettes” ‘cause basically, it’s weed! “Cigarettes” seem gay/typical; can’t stand my mom buyin’ a pack every day or two! Tha hook sounds pretty nice; good shit you bringin’, too! All these problems can come into play nicely, thanx ta this song! My Rating: 4.4

09. “Bird Call” Feat. Pounds
LOL, this made it! Thought it was one of tha most-surprising-soundin’ collaborations, but then again, y’all are cousinz, lol. As reviewed on Pounds’s two mixtapes, this iz definitely nice, overall, wit a great beat and great contributions from tha both of y’all! My Current Rating: 4.4

½time: Currently, this iz a pretty serious CD, Greg!! Definitely glad you finally put it out, ya dig?! You’re standin’ at 4.5 for tha CD rating, wit a possible chance at five stars!!!!!

10. “Gimme Wut I Want” Feat. Jab & Supa
Lookin’ forward ta dis! LOL, Supa finally sourced? >>> Likin’ this; catchy hook, of course! You can’t resist somethin’ like this ‘cause it’s tha shiiiit, lol! Sounds like you afta tha sex on tha 1st verse; good shit, especially wit how you keep your voice rollin’ and rollin’ and rollin’ and rollin’ and rollin’ and rollin’ wit consistency and entertainment, ya dig? Jab on dat hook; very catchy wit tha voice and how he keeps sayin’ tha title!! LOL, Supa on tha 2nd verse, wit a lil’ bit of Juvenile in tha flow; definitely feelin’ everything goin’ on here, since it’s fulla catchiness!! Not too bad wit Jab on tha 3rd verse, here; tha rhymes I mainly like are tha “Macked Out”-type/referred rhymes. My Rating: 4.5

11. “Bless My Enemies” Feat. Mel 985 & Piz Corleone
This looks like somethin’ cool… >>> Actually, real cool wit tha beat start!! Do I hear some Mel in tha beginning wit tha title? Damn, this iz gonna be somethin’ catchy! Here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some real rhymes dat go great wit this kinda beat, ya dig? Tha way Mel says, “that’s my enemies,” sounds like some song in tha past wit tha voice? Must be a great rendition goin’ on, here! Speakin’ of Mel, here he iz on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some catchy, real-type rhymes! “It’s like, some mouse in tha house … tryna kill it;” exactly what my mom has been doin’ tha past few dayz, lol! ROFL, really cold ending? I guess that’s Piz on tha hook? LOL, I’m confused, now! My Rating: 4.5

12. “I Need Dat” Feat. Supa
Let’s hear dis! >>> Ooh, hot beat start; definitely luvin’ what y’all bringin’ to tha table wit these tracks!!! Tha hook sounds pretty catchy; definitely luvin’ what you bringin’, here, wit all these kinds of money-related things, lol! Also, I’m on #12 and I didn’t even hear a reference ta “So Whopped”, currently; lol, I remember hearin’ it in, like, every song in tha past! LOL @ what you bringin’ to tha 2nd verse; demandin’ at its finest!! Hope I get ta see some $ from you, soon, when it comes ta doin’ some videos and shit! LOL @ tha start ta tha 3rd verse wit Supa… Hope I can get a few $$$ before all this “head” and “pussy;” that’s a bet! ROFL, anotha cold-ass ending! My Rating: 4.5

13. “Money My Motivator” Feat. Jab & Mel 985
LOL, sequel? >>> Nice dialect in tha beginning… Nice job wit tha beat, of course; like my tracks A+! Also, this iz a good “money” song, unlike most bullshit songs out there. Tha 2nd verse iz pretty good, too; was wondering how long this was wit tha two verses from you, but there’s room… Here’s tha 3rd verse (Jab?), comin’ through wit some good shit… Maybe this iz Jab on tha 4th verse? I’m only goin’ by tha order… Not too crazy about what’s goin’ on wit this verse… ROFL, cold-ass ending, again! My Rating: 4.2

14. “Grind, Hustle” Feat. J-Von & Drako
Looks like somethin’ gon jump off wit this one! >>> Definitely a good vibe; I feel like it’s tha good times of Louisiana (from 2008 and before)! J-Von on tha 1st verse? Comin’ through wit some tightness, here! Ooh, beat sounds are at their finest at 1:02!! Here you are on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit good shit, too, “hustle” at full time! Uh oh, cold…—up, a fade-out ending, lol! My Rating: 4.5

15. “I’m On” Feat. Nip & Mel 985
Let’s see what we got… >>> Smooth start wit kick-ass beat sounds, once again! Nice job wit tha 1st verse; not bad… Tha hook sounds pretty catchy, too; must be Nip, here? I hear tha Mel 985 voice on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit… club shit? Here you are on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit some shit fa tha “hoes,” here, lol. LOL, just ended like it was nothin’! My Rating: 4.3

16. “Bringin’ My Roll Down” Feat. Johnny Hustle & Cage (Down Bad)
LOL, was a radio exclusive for a while (as a DNA track). Now, lemme finally review it! >>> Always luved tha kick-ass beat goin’ on, here; very serious!! Also, you on tha hook iz a monster, too!! You’re really kickin’ ass on tha 1st verse! “Like Mario wit his mushroom, power up!” Good shit from Hustle on tha 2nd verse; he got a focused mentality when it comes ta any in-person-type shit, ya dig? Hope I meet everyone soon! Just findin’ a male figure ta go wit ‘cause most males where I’m at suck fuckin’ ass!!! Here’s Cage wit his entertainin’-ass on tha 3rd verse; definitely tha shit you’d wanna hear wit his words!! They keep goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’, lol!! Quick ending, here, lol. My Current Rating: 4.7

17. “So Stupid” Feat. Drako, Big World & Supa
“More”? >>> What tha hell was that beat tag in tha beginning and why was it longer than two seconds/a couple sentences? Thought this was gonna be tha just “Stupid” as tha title song, but it’s a new song! Tha beat sounds pretty serious, here; definitely feelin’ it! Hook’s nice, as well as what’s goin’ on wit this 1st verse (must be Drako ‘cause I can’t believe of “More” bein’ anyone, smh)! Keep this catchy shit up, ya dig? Well, Supa’s on tha hook; why no room? LOL, “Bringin’ My Roll Down” had a much-bigger ID… This iz you on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit tha intoxicated-type verse, lol! LOL, here’s Big World on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through “stoned” as a ma’fucka, lol? Gotta luv it! He’s someone I’m dyin’ ta meet, ya dig? Neva really kicked it—seriously—wit dread-heads dat are huge, lol! Here’s tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse: Supa, comin’ through wit his “M.O.M.”-type shit, as always! Well, I guess tha correct ID iz “Feat. Drako, Big World & Supa” instead of “& More” (yea, like that was hard, smh)! ROFL @ tha ending wit, “free Boosie;” random, Supa, lol! My Rating: 4.5

18. “So Whopped” Feat. Supa & Jack (Down Bad)
LOL? My Current Rating: 4.3

19. “Thuggin’ Is Da Life” Feat. T.C.
What this gon be like for an ending song? >>> Dunno why, but it gives me a Young Bleed/Frieze Off Da Curb CD feel wit this vibe! Thumbs up ta dat T.C. dude on tha hook! Really feelin’ his—oh, iz that you, lol? This must be from tha Early 2000s or somethin’ ‘cause it sounds so old? Interestin’, though, especially wit what this song iz, overall! Or, iz this T.C. on tha 2nd verse? Neva mind, I think this him on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse? LOL @ my confusion! But, you know this shit’s pretty nice, old style! My Rating: 4.4

Overall: A+, Greg; you know what it iz!! You always come through wit tha consistency and type of shit dat’s pure!! Actually, tha whole Macked Out Music clique seems ta be like dat, too! Gotta give y’all big shout outs, ya feel me? Keep up tha great, consistent work!!

Review #811: Supa "It's Retarted"

Reviewed on 1.20.2011 (Review #811)

Tryna catch up wit tha remainin’ reviewz before tha month ends… There’s about 60 more CDs I have to check out. Let’s start today off wit reviewin’ Supa “It’s Retarted! Originally, two years ago, I was embarrassed dat there was no apostrophe in tha title when called for. Now, it’s whateva; I know when ta put it! Why iz tha artwork so tiny? Tha back cover I was able to find perfectly online, though—good thing. Now, let’s see all tha hype ‘bout dis! Start Time: 4:35 PM | End Time: 5:16 PM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “It’s Retarted”
With tha apostrophe! >>> Oh yea, produced by King Arthur, here. Sounds perfect for an intro here between tha topic, title, hook, beat, and how you come through wit dat hot shit! :tu My Rating: 4.4

02. “How Do You Want It”
Anotha King Arthur-produced track! >>> Almost sounds like Soul II Soul’s “Back To Life” song sampled in your vocals on tha hook; pretty catchy… I like how this beat sounds; almost sounds like The Neptunes from a decade ago (who would’ve thought that would be a decade ago, already)! My Rating: 4.2

03. “No Emotions” Feat. Level & Big World
That’s and on tha back cover! Oh, Piz Corleone on tha beat; would’ve neva guessed who it was. Anyway, still pretty good and I’m sure it’s on dat new Macked Out CD! My Current Rating: 4.5

04. King Arthur Talks
>>> Doesn’t sound like him. What’s wit tha “nuts” shit, lol? Sounds a lil’ hilarious. My Rating: N/A

05. “Overhere”
LOL, compound word? That’s new. >>> Glad King Arthur holdin’ down tha beats! Sounds pretty catchy; really likin’ how you sayin’ tha title, lol! Real consistent wit how you come through wit it! LOL, “I ain’t even take a bath, yet,” lol! My Rating: 4.4

06. “Like Yeah” Feat. Big World, Young Gregory & Jab
LOL @ tha “an” instead of “and” on tha back cover. Anyway, let’s hear anotha production from Piz Corleone and a tight-lookin’ collaboration!! >>> I’m likin’ how tha beat sounds; catchy hook, ya dig? You’re comin’ through wit your coolness (as always)! LOL, Big World on tha 2nd verse? He should be 1st in tha ID, not Jab! Anyway, good shit from World; you know what it iz wit him! ROFL, Young Greg on tha start of tha 3rd verse? He should be above Jab, too! Gotta luv how he comes through on tha track; nothin’ beats Greg!! Keep dat character comin’ on tha track!! Jab sounds like he fits fa tha M.O.M. as well as this track wit y’all on tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse; good shit! My Rating: 4.3

07. “A Milli” Feat. BluBlack & Disco
LOL, not featurin’ but w/BluBlack as well as on tha beat; let’s hear it! >>> Although kinda gay ta use this sample, it doesn’t stop this from soundin’ betta/hot! LOL, Blu doin’ a nice job on tha 1st verse, ya dig? Sounds like good, family-related music. “So many miles per hour on tha dash, you can’t chase us;” how and where do people drive so fast when there’s buku things and cars in tha road? SMH @ tha “free Lil’ Wayne” part on tha 2nd hook; fuck him since he ain’t ‘bout no Louisiana shit, no more! You sound pretty good on tha 2nd verse, keepin’ it consistent! ROFL, randomly, Disco of tha Flippa Boyz appeared on tha 3rd verse? Why in tha hell ain’t he sourced on tha feature? :confused See, he should be sourced ‘cause he definitely adds interest ta tha track, ya dig? My Rating: 4.5

08. “No Sleep” Feat. Piz Corleone & Young Gregory
This looks interestin’, wit Piz on tha beat, too! >>> Likin’ tha beat start; sounds like dis gon be hot! Tha hook’s catchy; not on some bullshit “money” topic this time! Piz sounds not bad on tha 1st verse… LOL, Greg on tha 2nd verse, “(not) home fa a week,” so you know dis was recorded last Spring! Gotta luv Greg; he randomly appears in pics, too! Supa, you’re “allergic ta sleep;” dumb shit! You know what it iz! My Rating: 4.5

09. “We Gon Miss You” Feat. Big World & Ville Boyz
Just Ville Boyz, not “The Ville Boys” on tha back cover. Plus, accordin’ to tha mp3 info and DatPiff tracklisting, it’s “U” and not “You”, too. >>> Sounds pretty good wit anotha Piz beat! Thought it would be a lil’ different ta disappoint me but it’s on ‘n’ poppin’, right now! Big World’s 1st in tha feature, though; get it right! He has some catchy shit ta offer here; good shit! You’re on tha 2nd verse, spittin’ mo’ catchy shit, here! Let’s hear how da Ville Boyz come through fa tha 3rd verse… Luvin’ tha “horses,” lol! Tha 2nd Ville Boy ta hop on tha 3rd verse sounds betta although tha both of them are definitely doin’ tha damn thang when it comes ta contributin’ ta your CD, Sup, ya dig? My Rating: 4.4

½time: Hot shit right here! So far, you’re at a 4.4 for tha CD rating!!!

10. “She’ont Love Me” Feat. D-Boi
Back to tha King Arthur beats. Since this has tha “’ont” in tha title and a new feature, I’m more anticipated! >>> Yup, sounds pretty anticipatin’ wit tha King Arthur beat! Sounds like tha your verse and tha hook blends in to where I couldn’t tell which was which at first. Anyway, from what I heard, it’s off to a good start/50%, so far! D-Boi’s a lil’ focused on tha 2nd verse; good discovery, Sup! Tha rest iz pretty good; sounds like you contributed a ½ verse toward tha 3rd verse, Sup; feelin’ it, ya dig? My Rating: 4.2

11. “What Chu Want”
King Arthur on tha beat again! >>> Tha beginning sounds pretty serious wit tha beat! Might be a lil’ familiar? Doesn’t matter to me, now, ‘cause I’m feelin’ tha beginning! Not bad wit how you’re comin’ through wit tha rhymes, too… LOL, tha hook sounds funny wit tha repeatin’ as well as how you sound and tha beat! :tu My Rating: 4.2

12. “Let Dat Shit Go” Feat. Mel 985
Mel wit a space, lol. Anotha King Arthur-produced joint!! >>> Can’t complain; no need to! Likin’ how you comin’ through wit it on tha 1st verse; pretty catchy. Tha hook’s catchy—almost sounds like “Bump Dat” although this was—neva mind, “Bump Dat” was, like, November 2009ish; this newer, so it prolly sound like it. Kinda on an obsessive “hoe” verse, Mel’s soundin’ pretty catchy fa you on tha 2nd verse, here, ya dig? My Rating: 4.1

13. “The Man Nah”
LOL, gotta feel tha “nah” in tha title as well as tha anticipated-E.P.-produced beat! >>> Sounds like a good start wit dis beat! Nothin’ but coolness here! My Rating: 4.2

14. “Hot In Dese Streets” Feat. J-Hustle
Prolly missin’ an “e” at tha end of “Des”; I’ll put it so it flows betta. An E.P. and BluBlack-combined beat? Let’s hear dis!! >>> Yea, tha intro sounds pretty serious on tha beat fa a Down Bad/Macked Out-type track!! Tha hook’s definitely on point and you got shit locked wit what you comin’ wit on this track, my boy! J-Hustle, a.k.a. Johnny Hustle, doin’ a nice job on tha 2nd verse; good-ass shit fa tha track! My Rating: 4.6

15. “N V.I.P.” Feat. Piz Corleone & J-Hustle
LOL, gotta luv these special spellin’s fa three songs in a row, now! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ dis—produced by King Arthur! >>> LOL, calm start but tha beat really took off, as far as tha sound of it, on tha hook, lol! Piz sounds pretty good on tha 1st verse; feelin’ good wit those “kush” rhymes, ya dig? Here’s Johnny on tha 2nd verse, soundin’ consistent, once again! LOL, you got shit on lock, too, Sup! My Rating: 4.4

16. “Swagg Style” Feat. S.A.B.
Who’s S.A.B. on tha feature and who’s Lil’ P.A. on tha beat? >>> Well, for tha beat, I would think it easily fits wit your style and tha King Arthur/Piz Corleone-produced tracks. Tha hook ain’t too bad until tha 2nd ½ of it; kinda on tha cheesy side. This ain’t too bad wit what you comin’ wit; tha beat iz what’s makin’ this consistent. Tha S.A.B. group (?) on tha 2nd verse sounds like a really young person that wouldn’t match fa what you’d rap wit. Oh, it must be a group ‘cause anotha member’s on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse, soundin’ a lil’ betta. Either way, as far as what’s spit here, it’s prolly tha least-interestin’ outta this CD; not crazy ‘bout tha “swagg” shit. Tha 3rd verse iz anotha group member, soundin’ like they blend in wit tha BR sound so it ain’t too bad. “Stacks in my Levi pockets;” hope I see some of dat, soon, since they said so! I believe dat was Lil’ P.A. on tha final verse—think I caught him sayin’ dat. Overall, regardless of what I’ve said here and there, this has kept my interest. My Rating: 4.2

17. “Hood Supastar (Remix)” Feat. Terror a.k.a. Cheez, Young Ready & Big Poppa
LOL, tha back cover says, “So Whopped”, iz up next (bonus song), ROFL! I’ll just skip dat since it wasn’t included. This iz still good fa what it iz, no matter what year we’re in! You prolly seen tha review somewhere so you know how I feel ‘bout dis—King Arthur holdin’ tha beats down! My Current Rating: 4.6

18. “Jiggin’ Out My Body (Remix)” Feat. Big Poppa & Level
This, too, iz still good; see tha “Hood Supastar Vol. 2” review fa more! My Current Rating: 4.5

Overall: You know what it iz!! Good shit, Sup!! Keep ‘em comin’, although I ain’t gettin’ anything in tha mail so I don’t think I’ll review any more? :confused

Wat up, it’s ya boy FrankieThaLuckyDog here. Finna take a lil’ break from tha marathon throughout tha day, and then resume it later on during tha evening. Currently, I’m up to 1991 wit Master P’s “Get Away Clean” CD (tha 6th CD outta my 662 CDs so far). We’ll see how that goes (not much anticipation), but for now, tha anticipation’s locked on Terror, and his 2nd solo joint “N Da Ghetto”. I got a lot to say about my boy Terror, so you KNOW you wanna stay tuned! Speaking of which, I was talkin’ to Dae~Dae two dayz ago, and while talking to him, all of a sudden, Terror wrote me back on MySpace (after I wrote him on April 16). I LOL’d, and was shocked (in a good way). All he wanted was J-Dirty to e-mail me tha “N Da Ghetto” CD (even though KJ Armour did that for me a week ago, which iz how I’m doin’ this review). Thumbs up to Terror, and wit your 1st solo joint bein’ BANANAS, I’m sure this one’ll be too! Supa got a 4.4 out of 5.0 average CD rating; what will you get? Time to find out on my review for Terror a.k.a. Cheez “Terror N Da Ghetto”! FREE BLUBLACK, YUNG YOLA & D.$.G.!!!!!!!!!! Start Time: 2:48 PM | End Time: 5:16 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me or have auto-tune in your vocals, I’m not buyin’ it!

© 2009 CD Review (Review #196) reviewed on 5.06.2009 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Due Time”
*Terror voice* “Okayyyyyyyyyyy!!!” “Time” for sum Terror!!! I wonder how this 1:45 intro track (?) gon take me into tha CD?!! >>> Nice intro wit tha beat and catchy hook. Sounds like a “I’ll fuck you up!” type of verse here! Great job on it, Terror, as you’ll fuck anyone up if they fuck wit you tha wrong way! My Rating: 4.1

02. “Choke U Out”
Yes, a RAW title!! Glad you got that violence attribute in you when it comes to this Rap shit!! DYIN’ to hear what this gon be like!! Iz this gon be on sum “Hurt U” type shit?!? >>> *Smiles at Terror’s unexpected “okayyyyyyyyy!!” part* LOL @ me sayin’ tha “okayyyyyyyyyyyy!!!” shit in tha beginning of tha last song, and now, he said it! Tha beat’s vibe reminded me of some otha shit (maybe Nu$$ie & Diablo’s “Shakedown”?). Either way, tha hook was on some great shit, and I’m lookin’ forward to it again! Yeah, you’re “Terror!” Yeah, tha haterz “are not allowed to your smokeout!” Talk about a bossy Terror!! Even better, hearin’ tha hook now, and it’s just REAL GREAT!! Although less hyped up than “Hurt U”, it’s still REAL great to hear!! It makes me picture you grabbin’ someone wit your BIG arms, and just “chokin’ ‘em out!” Great 2nd verse too wit a lot of “man” parts at tha end of nearly each line. REAL FOCUSED hook (gotta keep complimentin’ it)!! Wow, towards 3:20, it got pretty serious wit tha “choke him ‘til he gag!” *Blu Black voice* “Shit ‘chea,” that’s watz up! Great song! You make that music that gets me REAL ADDICTED into listenin’!! Your music iz drugs to me!! My Rating: 4.4

03. “Yes, Yes” Feat. JR Dot & J. Hustle
Good, tha comma iz put in tha title, lol. One of tha songs on tha review I’m goin’ to record live wit my video camera. Still decidin’ what song I’ll be doin’ it with… Until then, I wonder what a title like “Yes, Yes” gon entail for me, especially since Supa & J. Hustle hopped on it?!! >>> Good/different type of beat for this song. I guess tha title iz short for “yes yes, y’all.” Not bad… Huh, an ID error already? I hear JR in tha 1st verse here! I’m actually glad to hear his voice this fast; he did his thang. I wouldn’t’ve expected you to do tha hook on this joint. Speaking of which, you’re on tha 2nd verse… Nice job right there, Terror. Your verse sounded slightly better than JR’s. I hear J. Hustle on tha 3rd verse now… Still a nice job done there. I like tha fade-out on this one. So this turned out to be that Supa wasn’t on it; instead, it was JR, so that’s ID Error No. 1. My Rating: 3.9

04. “Pussy Good” Feat. Cage & Jack Da Rippa
Finally gettin’ to hear this song!! J-Dirty wanted me to promote it on YouTube, as well as I promoted “Hurt U”, so now I have it!! How down and dirty will this joint get?? I finna find out right nah! >>> *Laughs* LOL @ your “okayyyyyyyyyyy!!!” Not bad for a start here. I like how tha 2nd part of tha hook iz tha title repeating. Startin’ this 1st verse off wit Cage! He’s REALLY “a freak” when it comes to this joint right here, as well as wit tha gurlz! Although a lil’ soft, I can feel it; I like you in tha hook, Terror. Yes, Terror, you’re on tha 2nd verse! LOL @ “good like Campbell’s!” You sound REAL into this song wit your vocals on here! Glad you gon “screw her like a sample;” that’s watz good. Good verse, Terror, as well as Cage doin’ his thang too; y’all keep it consistent! Let’s see what Jack gon offer on tha 3rd verse… He wants to “throw green on that pussy,” but instead, “throws cheese on it.” He’s REALLY into this pussy! Shit, now he wants to “throw a ring on it;” gettin’ his Beyonce on! Good job, Jack. He did his thang, as well as fallin’ in luv wit dat pussy ‘cause dat “pussy good.” My Rating: 4.2
EDIT: Forgot to mention: I recorded tha review to this song on my video camera.

05. “Livin’ Dat Life” Feat. Cage & Supa
Hopefully it’s Supa this time… I wonder what to expect outta a long song? >>> Catchy hook for tha start of this song; I like dat beat. I’m hearin’ Cage on tha 1st verse here… “Gotta have those fresh J’s;” I know. He sounds great rappin’ on a beat like this! Good job, Cage. Definitely somethin’ cool to listen to. Let’s see who’s next… Yes, it’s really Supa! Yeah, gotta start it off wit “Baton Rouge, tha dumb way,” and tha “rollin’ on dem pillz” line too!! I like tha “take a trip to tha ho-tel” part ‘cause at first, I thought it was to a hoe, but no, a hotel. Great job, Supa; luved hearin’ you on this shit! Let’s see what we got next… I like how tha title continues before tha next verse! Yes, it’s you! LOL @ tha “whore/tour” rhymin’ lines. Your verse sounded short, but I’m glad you at least spit somethin’; you doin’ yo thang on tha hook, as this joint’s just catchy as fuck now! My Rating: 4.3

06. “None Of What U Hear”
I don’t know what title to expect from you next, lol! Or should I say, “u,” lol! Good thing it’s at least 4 minutes, and it’s just you! Time to center tha keyboard on just “u”, Terror!! >>> Good beat start; I wonder what will be next from it… Sounds like an interesting hook, so thumbs up. Nice verse, as it got better towards tha end wit tha “wet u up” type lyrics. Good song about those fakerz and rumors! Good, hearin’ a 2nd verse already! Yeah, “they start femalin’;” I can SO agree wit shit like that. I went to visit my old college last week, and they are NOT CLOSE to y’all in Louisiana. They get so TOUCHED by tha word “nigga;” they’re like, “If you say it, I’ll slap tha shit out cha.” It’s like, “Bitch, go do some otha shit than worryin’ about what I have to say.” I made sure I told them err-body in BR know me! It’s not like they gave a shit anyway ‘cause they East Coast dudes. Tha rest of tha 2nd verse was great, and tha 3rd verse was good too. I like tha “what u see iz what u get” part in tha 3rd verse right before it ended. My Rating: 4.2

07. “Dis Dat Shit” Feat. Supa & Big World
You mean Big World, right? I feel that it’s ID Error No. 2. It’s cool how Down Bad iz cool wit so many peeps, as well as gettin’ a bunch of them on their songs. We all family, and I’m real proud to be on y’all team; you know I do shit constantly! Wit dat bein’ said, I hope “dis dat shit” that gon have my ratings go through tha roof!! >>> I like dat “Terror ‘N Da Ghetto’” intro right there!! Yea, Supa on tha intro too! LOL @ tha beatboxin’ in tha beat; bring out “Sweat (The Drip Drop Song)”, lol! Nah, I’m just playin’. Tha background beat sounds like 112 & Foxy Brown’s 2005 “You Already Know” joint almost, but other than that, all these fusions sound GREAT! That hook, just GREATNESS!! Yes, “Supa macked out, on a Terror track!” Can’t get enough of Supa, as he’s a piece of gold!! Terror, you’re my favorite outta Down Bad! Great, short Supa verse, as well as that hook! Gotta LUV tha “skippin’ in my Jordan’s” part! LOL @ tha “nigga, okayyyyyyyyyyy!!!” in tha 2nd hook too! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse from you, and pretty good too. Not much to say on it though, as tha hook sounds better, easily. I wish I would’ve recorded this one on tape! Mr. World iz on tha 3rd verse here, and you know I got my ear on that voice, as well as what he spittin’. Soundin’ like a big dawg, he did his thang. Terror, you ate a piece of tha pie as you have tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse here… Sounds better than your 2nd verse here. Yeah, “tha temperature rised!” Nice beat ending, although it would’ve been cool if this ended wit tha hook. Oh wait, it did, only wit you on it; GREAT JOB, Terror! I have to give props to you, Terror! You actually were a part of my Comm Theory presentation, “Face-To-Face vs. Electronic Communicating From An Autistic Point Of View.” I put you in there ‘cause when I see a new pic of you unexpectedly, I get excited, and say, “TERROR!!!” [in my voice style]. For those that wanna hate, aye, it’s an Autistic thang. Once I get tha “N Da Ghetto” poster from J-Dirty, you know I’m gonna put it on my door (underneath Blu Black’s “Code Blu” one), and it gon make my day seein’ it. Yeah, seein’ tha Blu Black one already makes my day, everyday. If that brightens my day at anytime, then you know it’s official! My Rating: 4.5

08. “On Fire!!”
WOW!! Exclamation points!! And you’re tha only one on it, Terror!! Wit 4:42 on tha length, you KNOW I’m dyin’ to hear how “on fire!!” you are!! >>> Yea, tha “Down Bad in tha buildin’!” part in tha beginning! Shit, I’m glad you’re talkin’ in tha intro! Shit, this iz some TIGHT shit here wit tha “somebody told me I’m on fiya!!” hook!! Tha whole entire hook iz tha shit, and that beat can be anything to sound good on this shit! LOL @ tha “blacker than charcoal” part. Maybe on this song, you’re “more red than burnin’ charcoal” ‘cause you’re “on fire!!” Tha 2nd verse here iz soundin’ like you’re alert from tha haterz, as you’re “strapped.” Great 2nd verse, and I like how you say, “roll,” in tha hook. Damn, that hook iz just “ON FIRE!!” I like your hustlin’ style in tha 3rd verse. I didn’t know you were that good of a hustla (“gettin’ 21, but 21 wasn’t enough”). My Rating: 4.4

09. “Halloween Freak”
I remember seein’ it on your MySpace… Before I even listen to it for tha 1st time, I’m encouragin’ people to go add it! I’m that into makin’ people add it, meanwhile, I ain’t heard it yet! Although a lil’ under a ½ year ‘til Halloween, I wonder, will this prepare people for 2009’s Halloween? I might even predict this bein’ in rotation wit me as soon as Halloween ‘bout to come; we’ll find out now! >>> Just looked at tha length, and this tha 1st song (since tha 1st one) that’s under 4 minutes. I thought it would sound a lil’ different, but it seems like tha hook caught my attention wit those Halloween lyrics! Sounds like a nice emerge onto tha verse, Terror! LOL @ tha “makeup iz just a costume;” interesting here! Great “neva treat tha trick;” great inverse from tha typical “trick or treat” sayin’!! Tha 1st verse was REAL good, so let’s see tha 2nd verse… Hungry Terror right chere that “wants tha gurl’s dome, even on her period.” Think about it… one word: TERROR!!! There’s a lot of TERROR during Halloween, lol! Feelin’ that 2nd verse there, and it seemed like this song was just real catchy as well. I like tha bridge (not 3rd verse) here wit tha “profitttttttttt” part!! You KNOW how to hold that last letter down PERFECTLY when you say your words; right? “Okayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!,” LMAO!! My Rating: 4.3

½time: Currently, your CD iz a 4.3 to me. I feel that Supa’s “Hood Supastar” CD was better, but who knows what it’ll turn out to be, statistically (his was a 4.4 during ½time). There’s 9 more jointz, and tha BIG song (find out how SUCCESSFUL it has been) didn’t come up yet, so you know there’s still more points for you out there, Terror! Keep doin’ yo thang; really likin’ tha shit so far!!

10. “Hurt Man”
LOL, you got anotha song wit “hurt” in it? “Shit ‘chea” (as Blu Black would say)!! >>> Not too into tha Pop Rap/R&B sound in tha beginning. Sounds like a strong hook. You know I like that “smokin’ dat work won’t work, mane!” Nothin’ really to say about tha 1st verse… GREAT start to tha 2nd verse wit tha “¼ to 3/get you a ¼ for 3” part!! Tha 2nd verse sounded better, and you KNOW “I don’t give up on life,” even though socializing and makin’ friends up here can be hard. Nobody BR status up here! Shit, nobody like Rap status up here! Nothin’ really to say for tha 3rd verse, but tha beat sounds nice now. Tha title could look good also if it was “mane” instead of “man”, but it still sounds good. My Rating: 3.6

11. “Bullet Proof” Feat. Jamone & Nu$$ie
I saw tha flyer for this CD many times online/when I play “Hurt U”, so I knew this was gonna be on here (I guess in honor of Nu$$ie). Speaking of which, on “When Terror Strikes”, it was labeled as “Feat. Mone & Nu$$ie”; why are they flipped now? I hope it’s not dickriding ova Nu$$ie and his death ‘cause I saw that on “Jigg City Rockstars 2”, where on “I-10 Cowboy”, he was tha 1st featured artist; meanwhile, he was really tha 3rd. Anyway, here’s what was said from me: Good that Nu$$ie’s in tha beginning of tha song… Yes, here comes you wit tha TIGHTNESS again! You make them REAL NICE hooks, dawg. I DEFINITELY feel how you deliver this shit. Yes, you’re on tha 1st verse! You did a great job on your verse, and I gotta really like when you say, “I’m comin’ fa youuuuu.” Up, Mone’s not a girl, as he’s a dude, spittin’ on tha 2nd verse… No bullshit here, as he’ll “shoot you in yo leg!” Raw shit comin’ from this dude here! He DEFINITELY did a nice job on this shit right chea! 1:17 left on tha length, so let’s hear if Nu$$ie’s on tha 3rd verse… Yup, it iz. You know he deliver that REAL shit! Yeah, “check tha stats, facts are facts!” Nu$$ie on some “1992 crack” shit. You know he be spittin’/dealin’/doin’ that REAL shit! And because I didn’t resume my playlist dayz after Nu$$ie died, when resumin’ it, it felt like he was still alive! His death was SO FUCKIN’ INSTANT; WTF?!?!!?!?!! I like at tha end of tha song when you did tha “I’m comin’ for you…” part, and tha beat stopped for a few seconds; I thought tha song ended, lol. To add to this: How refreshin’ for a start wit tha “I’m comin’ fa youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!” part from you! Although Nu$$ie was in tha beginning, I still feel that tha featured order should go by featured artists, no less how it was on tha 1st solo CD. I’ll consider that ID Error No. 3, but I still luv tha song, so no hate!! Still, according to human dignity, everyone’s a person (dead or alive). I’m gonna boost tha rating by 1/10th ‘cause you KNOW I luv your “youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!” parts! REAL GOOD song, and R.I.P. tha Nu$$! My Current Rating: 4.5

12. “Same No More” Feat. Young Gregory, Supa & Jab
Who’s tha Jab person? Lookin’ at tha title, I think it gon be on some shit tha No. 10 song was on… I REALLY wanna hear some Young Gregory, BETTA YET some more of Supa!! >>> Nearly 5:00 on tha length (since it’s 4:58). Okay, slow start… Good, Young Gregory’s on tha 1st verse! I thought after “So Whopped”, I wouldn’t hear much from him, but now that I’m hearin’ him often, I’m luvin’ tha type of shit he on! Great verse, and you know when he was on “Take Dat” (from Supa’s CD) that I LUVED to hear him more!! Good hook from you on this, even though I think I liked tha “Hurt Man” one better. Looks like you on tha 2nd verse here… Sounded nice, Terror. I like tha “flip his desk over, man” part at tha end of tha verse. Supa’s takin’ ova tha 2nd ½ of your verse here… I liked hearin’ his part better; good job, Supa! Still goin’, no less wit tha “where tha brown at?” part!! Go Supa!! WHO THA FUCK GETS TIRED OF THAT VOICE?!? Shit, Supa gon be EvvVvVvVvEeEeRrRrRyYyYyYwHeRrRrE!!! Now, that Jab dude on tha 3rd verse… Okay, but nothin’ really to say. Terror, you were better on tha “Hurt Man” song, but if it was for Young Gregory & Supa, this would’ve had a lower rating. My Rating: 3.7

13. “Don’t Insult Me”
You KNOW a Terror CD can’t be completed without a title bein’ “Don’t _____ Me”!! LOL! I have a feelin’ I’m gonna LUV it more than I first heard it on tha “The Sickest 2K8” CD! I even catch myself sayin’ tha title randomly (in tha Terror type of voice) at times, so that’s watz good. This was my original review: Good Louisiana feel in tha beginning of tha beat. Pretty catchy so far and as most Baton Rouge hooks like to sound, that repetitiveness wit tha title on tha 2nd ½ of tha hook sounds nice (as always). Definitely feelin’ that 1st verse as it sounded pretty nice. Likin’ tha 2nd verse wit that “I’m not a credit card, girl, you can’t be chargin’ me” line; nice 2nd verse! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse right now and I’m likin’ all those “dawg” parts; damn, I think I heard tha dude say it about 4 times at least; that’s watz good. That’ll make me boost tha rating by a 10th of a point. To add to it: Great start to tha 1st verse wit tha “verbal attack;” what words are better than that for tha start?!? What a RAW 1st verse! Yeah, luvin’ that 3rd verse too (as I said originally). This sounds SO much betta now!! A boost in tha rating this time by 3/10ths of a point! My Current Rating: 4.4

14. “Big Mistake” Feat. JR Dot
Looks like a joint I might luv!! JR on tha feature, so this shit should be retarded!! >>> GREAT, a grimy intro!! Just hearin’ that beat sounds like some 90’s/Early 00’s style, yet this iz like some 2009 shit!! That’s what’s SO FUCKIN’ GREAT about these Down Bad productions!! RAW beat!! It took about 1:03 for tha verse to come? I don’t know exactly what’s goin’ on here, but it’s tha shit, especially wit tha title! You KNOW anyone that makes a “big mistake” to any of tha Down Bad members/affiliated people (including me since I’m affiliated), they gon get it!! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse, and I’m hearin’ from tha beginning this time. Sounds unfriendly, especially tha “don’t be bookin’ us,” and even tha “she gon divorce you” part. Terror, deliverin’ rhymes that will make haterz turn “TERRible,” lol!! Wow, that beat before JR came in iz INSANE!!! He sounds good on this shit, and tha “took off your rubber” part sounds like when I heard that, I feel like instantly listenin’ to see what’s goin’ on next; good “luring-out anticipated line”, JR. He did his thang wit tha verse, and this joint just stayed DARK and GRIMY!! Catchy wit all tha title parts in tha background!! My Rating: 4.6

15. “Sleepwalkaz”
What tha…, lol! Only 3:06 on tha length? I hope it ain’t too good to where I want more if it that short… >>> Keepin’ tha grimy element in this beat, so thumbs up, fa real!! GREAT intro, Terror! From :28 - :31, it sounded like I heard “ohhhhhhhhhhhhh” in tha background, remindin’ me of your “okayyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!” That was spooky, yet GOOD enough, for this song!!! Sounded like a great 1st verse, and tha hook iz on some spooky shit; good job, Terror! Good 2nd verse too. I’m mainly hooked into tha hook here. I did wish it was longer, but great song! My Rating: 4.3

16. “Make Me Hurt U” Feat. Cage & Derty
Shit, where do I begin wit this one, lol? First off, ID Error No. 4 & 5: Tha “U” iz missin’ in tha title (I’m goin’ by tha mp3 that KJ gave me), as well as Derty iz wit an “e”, not an “i” (J-Dirty’s tha one wit tha “i”, not “e”, lol). Well, lemme start off by when I got it: First off, you can’t front on a song that I get on Blu Black’s birthday (March 18). Although I got it then, due to my busyness, I added it 2 dayz later on my iTunes. Some songs, when I first add them to my iPod, I feel that all of a sudden, I start playin’ them repeatedly. Wit this song, it caught that case, and in its 2nd week (I believe), I just kept playin’ it. You know when it’s my boy Terror that I have tha shit on repeat! It still had a decent amount of airplay ‘til for some reason, on April 14, it started goin’ nuts! Congratulations to Terror ‘cause this song hit No. 1 on my most recent playlist (Playlist Of 4.13.2009 – 5.03.2009), makin’ it tha first eva Down Bad type of song to top my playlist!! Not only that, but it enabled a new segment wit my playlist: For any underground Louisiana artist that tops my playlist (which each playlist iz every 3 weeks), I will send that person an award in a frame (which will show tha playlist they topped, as well as some other shit; still haven’t created tha award yet). So J-Dirty, I know I let tha cat outta tha bag, but look out for that award. I gotta see how I can send it ‘cause when I send tha awards, tha glass usually breaks on ‘em (it happened to many artists on my 2008 Music Awards earlier in tha year). Congrats, Terror, as well as it bein’ No. 1 on my Top 10 Countdown MANY of times, as well as it bein’ in my Top 25 Most Played Songs of 2009 (on my iPod and computer, slowly climbin’ up both)! Now then, onto tha INFECTIOUS review for this song, no less No. 16 on tha CD; that’s watz good!! >>> I just BURSTED a laugh as soon as I pressed play!! You KNOW this iz SO FUCKIN’ HOT!!! Just all tha “make that-make that-make, make me hurt u” parts iz CRAZY!! You KNOW you don’t play, Terror!! I can’t believe how this EXPLODED wit me!! Controllin’ Terror on tha 1st verse wit tha “I don’t care where you from, nigga, put yo arms down!” part! Yeah, “don’t provoke you!” Just some CRAZY shit right chere!! At first, I was debating which song was better: this or “Hood Supastar”. Although I LUV “Hood Supastar”, which iz also steady climbin’ up wit me, this iz better, as well as more frequently played wit me! Gotta luv tha Cage verse too wit tha “we live in tha world where tha guns don’t jam,” as well as tha “eat ‘em up like spam” part (which I always say when hearin’ it). Tha beat reminds me of 334 MO.B.B.’s “Nah Mean”, and I’m REAL GLAD to hear this kinda beat for a song like this!! Just gotta LUV tha “keep runnin’ yo mouth, you gon see what I’m ‘bout” parts from you in tha beginning of tha hook! LOL @ Derty and his “I’m out da box, I’m so whoppeded,” lol. You KNOW he had to have tha BIG Down Bad songs on his verse, as well as deliverin’ it wit a NICE flow!! Great R.I.P. shout out to Nu$$ie at tha end too! LOL @ tha ending havin’ tha EXACT, same, instant cold ending (at 3:50 instead of 3:51) as tha file J-Dirty gave me. Also, including what I’m writin’ now, this song’s review was just one line from bein’ a whole page long, lol! THAT’S HOW YOU DO IT, Terror!! My Current Rating: 4.9 (huge rating boost due to excessive plays wit me)

17. “M.O.B.” Feat. Supa
Almost towards tha end, but you KNOW there had to be anotha Supa featured joint on here!! >>> Pretty nice, Southern start. Sounds like I hear a different person on tha hook? Anyway, startin’ off tha verse wit none other than you, Terror! Aimin’ towards more than “m” side “o”ver tha “b” side, lol (yeah, that’s “M.O.B.” right there) wit “puttin’ rims on your truck,” and all that good shit. Yes, FUCKIN’ SUPA ON THA 2nd VERSE!!! THAT VOICE JUST GETS ME SO IN THA MOOD FOR A SUPPORT MOVEMENT!!! I wish his manager was cool though ‘cause he was like a “one hit wonder” on tha phone wit me (I only stayed in contact wit him for a few dayz; SMH @ that), as I told him to check out tha “Hood Supastar” review, and he neva had interest in contactin’ me back, which made me be like, “fuck it; w/e. I got J-Dirty, KJ Armour, and tha Down Bad members!” He should know I have Autism ‘cause I need to stick tha Autism attribute in err-body’s vains, especially if they in tha Rap music business!! Good verse otherwise, Supa. You’re on tha 3rd verse, and it was good; nothin’ much to say. You do yo thang on this beat here. Good ending wit tha “M…O…B…”! My Rating: 3.9

18. “Pussy Good (Radio)” Feat. Cage & Jack Da Rippa
Ending wit an edit? >>> LOL @ tha “good iz good” part. Then again, see No. 4 for tha review!

Overall: Wow, this lasted like 2.5 hours? That’s ‘cause I had pizza in tha beginning of it, as well as recordin’ tha “Pussy Good” review on tape. But otherwise, GREAT CD! I liked Supa’s better, as well as your “When Terror Strikes” CD better, but this one came pretty close, especially on statistics! Keep doin’ yo thang, Terror! You KNOW you gon luv 9 pages of you in tha center of tha review!!

Review #177: Supa "Live From 225"

Reviewed on 2.19.2009 (Review No. 177)

Wat up, it’s FrankieThaLuckyDog here… FINALLY, no more busy shit ‘til Tuesday!! I had to delay this review 2 dayz ‘cause of how busy I was tha last 2 dayz (wit an online test, goin’ to tha casino wit my mom (helpin’ her get some money), and doin’ a Comm Theory model for Comm Theory class), but I’m back, and ‘bout to review this CD for my boy Supa from Down Bad. For a second, he looked like a ghost on this cover, lol (I guess ‘cause of his hoodie and how it blended in wit his face). I ‘bout to do tha review, no less on KJ Armour’s birthday (happy birthday), so here it goes! My review for Supa “Live From 225” iz here! Start Time: 4:56 PM | Video Game Playing: The Legend Of Zelda – A Link To The Past (for Super Nintendo)

© 2009 CD Review (Review #177) reviewed on 2.19.2009 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Intro
Now, it’s DJ Colby D mixin’ up tha intro (vs. Terror’s solo mixtape when it was DJ Chill). Let’s see how he does for this intro… >>> I’m glad they have that beat in tha beginning (tha beginning song). I like tha mixin’ in this intro a lot! Like tha “Out Da Box” mix; Supa, you’re tha shit! Nice intro we got here! My Rating: N/A

02. “Dis Where It’s At”
“Dis” looks like “dis” gon be REAL TIGHT!! Its got a NICE 4:38 on tha length (pretty good for an opening song on a mixtape), and King Arthur’s on tha track!! Let’s see how good I am at predicting this tightness… >>> I couldn’t’ve thought of a different word to start tha song off other than… “Supa!” LOL… I like how you said “Louisiana.” :tu At :24, tha beat started to kick in, and it’s soundin’ pretty good… At :36, it’s gettin’ more taste in it. :tu Tha rhymes you’re spittin’ on this shit iz DEFINITELY nice to hear; you’re gutta wit this shit to tha fullest, ya dig. When you rap, it ain’t no bullshit! Great 1st verse, and that hook’s pretty catchy; definitely like this shit right here. :tu Good “I spit this hot shit, you get burned like ether” line. :tu This 2nd verse DEFINITELY gives yourself tha motivation you need. You ALREADY KNOW Supa needs to hustle. Gotta love that hook (you and Down Bad are GREAT at any type of shit)!! Let’s hear this 3rd verse… Good “hospital/patience” line (where “patience” was in place of “patients”). :tu I noticed… Any song/verse of yours ALWAYS has to have one of tha following words: Supa, club, or jigg. LOL… You did yo thang on tha 3rd verse. You already know this shit gets that tight rating from me; can’t deny ANYTHING you do, dawg. :tu My Rating: 4.4

03. “So Whopped” Feat. Jack & Young Gregory
So, King Arthur produced this one, huh? Good shit too. And glad to see which Down Bad member was wit you on this song… Oh, and I’m guessin’ this mixtape iz easily older than “The Sickest 2K8” CD ‘cause there’s an ID error on tha cover: It says “Woped” instead of “Whopped” (I corrected that, and tha ID was fixed on “The Sickest 2K8”). Anyway, sorry to say this, but I had to knock this song off my playlist/rotation after only 1.5 months…; it even topped my top 10 countdown a couple times. It ain’t my fault… J-Dirty didn’t follow my “airplay rules” by a lack of stayin’ in touch wit me and givin’ me feedback on my “Change Tha World” video. I also tried to get KJ Armour to help, but that didn’t work (yeah, I know KJ’s busy, but a small response can help). I mean, c’mon, Dirty. I give you a commercial, a review for “The Sickest 2K8”, and 41 contacts’ numbers/Myspaces outta my phone (which all this took hours to do). Can’t you just take 5 minutes outta your time? I mean, you peeped out that SHITTY-ASS CD review I did for Drama & Lil’ Wayne’s “Dedication 3;” I don’t get it, and I’m quite upset. I thought you were gonna be tha best person to talk to in 2009; I had a lot of faith in tha beginning of tha year… :( Anyway, to tha song: I like how everytime this song pops up somewhere, tha intro iz different… This actually sounds like it was recorded a while ago…; sounds unmastered… Even tha beat continues while tha 1st verse starts… Not too much into this version… Tha hook iz catchy/good, and tha 1st verse iz great (of course). Sounds like a dirty version (meanin’ tha version I had from “The Sickest 2K8” was clean?)… You on tha 2nd verse… LOL @ tha dirtier lyrics in tha beginning… I easily prefer tha one on “The Sickest 2K8,” and I only liked tha “walk around tha club…” dirty part outta your whole verse; your verse was great though. Jack on tha 3rd verse… Good, but I got used to tha “The Sickest 2K8” version; nice outro from you BTW. I would’ve rated it a 4.6 if it was tha “The Sickest 2K8” version, but there’s a deduction on this version. My Rating: 4.0

04. “Young Gurl Stealer”
Cage on tha beats again! Let’s see how this one gon turn out… >>> Of course, I like tha beat… Love all of Down Bad’s beats as they neva get boring! Oh, that hook wit tha sample… Didn’t expect that, but it sounds good. Tha 2nd ½ of tha hook sounds good wit you rappin’ on it. :tu Let’s hear this 1st verse… You DEFINITELY keep it hood wit what you’re spittin’. That beat iz pretty nice during tha hook; HOT SHIT!! That’s REALLY watz good that you “got ‘bauds on yo legs;” you tha shit. :tu Tha 2nd verse was ALSO on some HOT shit too! Great job, Supa. You doin’ BIG THANGZ wit these tracks! My Rating: 4.2

05. “I Stay Gone” Feat. Big World & A.N.T.
Looks like a real good title, and King Arthur’s doin’ this beat. I got a high anticipation level for this one…! >>> Great to hear King Arthur in tha beginning. It sounds like a “So Whopped” beat in tha beginning… Of course, feelin’ it, and it looks like you’re into this track right here, Supa. Glad you’re “jiggin’ out ya pocket.” :tu Good thing I guessed that tha title had to do wit bein’ “gone off that shit.” :tu  Tha hook was on some TIGHT shit!! Looks like tha hook iz GREAT, and it sounds a lil’ better than your verse. WOW, that “eyes low ‘cause I’m loaded…” shit was HELLA TIGHT!!!!! That 2nd verse looks like it soundin’ REAL, REAL good!!! Wow, Big World did a REAL GREAT job!!!!! He was even on tha 2nd verse!!! Glad you were on tha hook following! Let’s hear this A.N.T. dude… That’s cool that he’s got friends and shit. He did a nice job, and I like tha reference to “King Arthur on tha track.” :tu My Rating: 4.5

06. “Out Da Box” Feat. Cage & Blu Black
Had automatically played this as a single in December 2008 (that was like tha earliest I got a full version, even though it was hella old). I made it do pretty good, and gave it a nice rise on my 2008 year-end countdown. There’s an ID error as it says “Blu-Black” (wit a dash). There’s no dash, and it’s either labeled correctly as Blu Black (tha way it should look) or BluBlack (how he labels it). I’m glad Blu Black produced it (sad to say, but “FREE BLU BLACK!!!!!!!!!!”). Lemme see what I gotta say for it now (I’ve reviewed this song many of times, but gonna give it a fresh review). >>> Glad it’s tha dirty version this time, and it sounds nearly tha same, luckily, as tha “The Sickest 2K8” one (beat/vocal wise). You DEFINITELY did yo thang on tha 1st verse, and that hook iz nice and slow/catchy. Cage did his thang on tha 2nd verse, as it sounded great. I remember when I heard this Blu Black verse right here… I wondered what was next for him, and look at HOW GREAT it turned out to be for his music!! “Code Blu” REALLY put me on tha Blu Black map, ya dig. And I pretty much help him out a whole lot, so I’m glad for that. Once again, a nice lil’ verse from him. My Current Rating: 4.4

07. “Sticks And Stones”
LOL @ me accidently typing “stoners” by accident, lol. Well, I neva heard this one, so I’m lookin’ forward to it! King Arthur wit another beat! Looks like Cage supported Terror a lot, and King Arthur supported you a lot on tha tracks. >>> Good, takin’ it to my birth place, New York. :tu Sounds like a decent/average verse… Terrible that “you almost got shot;” I ain’t even gonna go there about how people just fuckin’ love guns, smh… Tha hook iz on that typical/cliché type shit, so no comment there. Tha 2nd verse here iz definitely soundin’ better. :) Tha bridge was ehh… not bad. Tha beat mainly stood out. My Rating: 3.8

08. “I Always Sagg” Feat. JR Dot
I looked at tha length on my computer, and I was like, “5:24!?” ‘Cause on Terror’s mixtape, most jointz were under 4 minutes; yours are pretty full-lengthy. But I predict this’ll be my favorite song ‘cause that title iz tha SHIT!! HUGE ANTICIPATION!!! >>> Ooh, “heartbeatin’” beat intro! This gon be SO FUCKIN’ TIGHT I KNOW IT!!! Yeah, “King Arthur on tha ma’fuckin’ beat!” Tha beat iz off to a REAL NICE start; love it already! How high will I rate this??? Went right to tha hook at :49! Yeah, this iz some REAL TIGHT shit!!! LOVE tha hook!!! JR sounds pretty good on tha 1st verse! He’s doin’ it BIG on his verse, as it’s just rappin’ wit that tightness! Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse, and I’m likin’ it. I like tha “turn tha radio on, there’s a pill song” line; nice shit! You did yo thang fa’sho on tha 2nd verse! Let’s hear what tha 3rd verse gon be like… Good thing it’s a verse, and not a bridge! Sounds like a tough verse from you! Great 3rd verse, and some nice shit right here from you and JR, along wit King Arthur on tha track! My Rating: 4.6

Intermission: Gotta go to tha bathroom… Be right back! *Leaves at 5:56, one hour into tha review… Returns at 6:02 PM* Now, back to tha review!

09. “I Thug Hard, Go Hard” Feat. JR Dot & Young Greg
Another ID error: It’s Young Greg, not Yung Greg. Anyway, looks like this joint’ll go hard! Lookin’ forward to hearin’ Terror on this mixtape soon (hope he’s on here)!! >>> Cage makin’ a catchy beat here… Well, tha hook could’ve “went harder,” and I thought it was familiar for a sec, but JR used tha “go hard like a retard” part somewhere else… Decent hook, and JR’s on tha 1st verse… Sounds like he’s REALLY focused on this shit, as he’s just spittin’ non-stop! Great 1st verse from him, and I like when you say “that’s how I live, boy.” :tu Let’s hear you on tha 2nd verse… Still soundin’ good… I like tha “kush in my blunt” part at exactly 2:00 in tha song. Pretty nice verse from you. Let’s hear what Young Greg gotta say on tha 3rd verse… Yeah, I remember that voice from “So Whopped”. Good verse from him, as it’s your typical, good Baton Rouge verse. My Rating: 3.9

10. Real Talk Skit
Ooh, it’s a skit, and it’s 52 seconds long! You know I’m REALLY lookin’ forward to hearin’ what you got to say, dawg! >>> Nice to hear you say somethin’, and it was good hearin’ you. Nothin’ much to say, except for that I fuckin’ love your music!! My Rating: N/A

11. “Just Shake It”
King Arthur track, but typical title that I might not go for… I prolly’ll just really like tha beat; that’s it. >>> I hear tha Baton Rougeness in tha beginning of tha beat. :tu LOL @ tha “shake it, don’t break it” part; a lil’ too typical… Oh, tha 1st verse iz up? Shit… Aight 1st verse. Tha hook iz just aight. I didn’t have much expectations from this; at least you’re rappin’. Nothin’ really to say about tha 2nd verse… Can’t have a Supa verse sometimes without pills, lol. My Rating: 3.5

½time: Well, you know I’m feelin’ this shit right here! Supa, you doin’ a GREAT job on this mixtape! I’m lookin’ forward to your newer one to come out (that’s your default pic on your Myspace)!!

12. “Fall In” Feat. Jack & J-Hustle
Switchin’ to a Cage beat… Looks familiar, but I’m gonna review (or re-review) it anyway… >>> Cool beat for tha beginning… Beat iz DEFINITELY on point here, and that hook iz on some NICE shit; good job, Jack, on tha hook! :tu He’s on tha 1st verse also… That “Louisiana jigga” part from him was cool to hear. :tu Not too familiar now, but I’m hearin’ you right now at 1:04, and it soundin’ REAL nice wit that fast beat! Tha 2nd verse goes to you… Yeah, “S-U-P-A;” what else, lol? Nice lil’ 2nd verse from you. Looks like J-Hustle’s left for tha 3rd verse… Soundin’ GREAT, and he rockin’ them “dickies.” :tu I like tha “J-Hustle blow that green up” part, and he DEFINITELY had a good time doin’ that verse; it’s tha shit!! :tu My Rating: 4.3

13. “Cloud 9” Feat. J-Hustle
Keepin’ J-Hustle, but switchin’ to a King Arthur beat… >>> Nice beat, and it sounds like a good hook here. :tu J-Hustle startin’ it off, and he’s doin’ good, again! I like tha “Down Bad” line he just said. He did his thang, and that was a great verse. I wonder what you have in store for tha 2nd verse… Nothin’ to be fucked wit with this verse. Great verse, especially wit tha “rainin’…bullets” part at tha end of tha verse. Just fuckin’ love that hook now!!! Yes, J-Hustle’s on tha 3rd verse also!! He doin’ his thang on this shit! I knew this was gonna be a 2 part verse; now, you’re on tha 2nd ½… Not bad on that shit. Gotta love this hook here; J-Hustle did a REAL HUGE job on that hook!!! My Rating: 4.2

14. “She Gimme What I Want” Feat. Jab & Young Greg
That Young Greg ID error again on tha back cover… Not sure what to expect from this one… >>> Cool King Arthur beat right here… I wonder what’ll happen… Hook on some typical shit again, only that Jab dude makes it sound better than a typical one. Young Greg iz on this 1st verse here… Just hearin’ “I hit tha club, and all tha bad bitches want me,” just makes me bore a lil’ wit a typical thought. Not too crazy about tha 1st verse… You’re on tha 2nd verse… Nothin’ much to say so far… These female type songs are gettin’ boring now… It’s like, every rapper has to have x amount of female songs? Let’s hear Jab on tha 3rd verse… Soundin’ better, especially since he “rollin’ up some kill,” as well as all those other “roll” parts! Tha rest of tha verse was ehh… My Rating: 3.7

Intermission: My bad for another one, but I gotta finish my dinner. Eating tha dinner while doin’ this interferes, and I feel like I do tha review slower, and eat a lot slower… Okay, that only took about 5 minutes, so I’m aight now.

15. “Between Us”
Takin’ a break from tha features, and still keepin’ tha long lengths… I wonder what to expect here, wit King Arthur on tha beat, again. >>> God, another female song… And a hook that does NOTHING for me… Tha beat iz nice, and there’s nothin’ to say about tha 1st verse. No more interest for this song, as it’s gettin’ lower and lower on my rating. Good thing this wasn’t tha No. 16 song! My Rating: 3.0

16. “J’s On My Toes”
Recent re-reviewed it (this iz a combined review of when I first heard it on Way3000’s mixtape + Terror’s “When Terror Strikes”): So King Arthur iz on tha beat huh? Looks like it’s soundin’ real nice so far. Ooh, tha beat changed real fast at about tha :20 mark. Good beat. Maybe King Arthur should just stick to beats instead of makin’ dance type of songs [refering to King Arthur’s “Wheel Chairs” joint]. Good lyrics wit “keepin’ that work for tha fiends.” Yeah, this a REAL nice beat and there’s so much goin’ on here to comment about…! Okay, NICE beat, pretty cool hook, nice 1st verse, what else? I only think tha 2nd verse iz okay though. 3rd verse wasn’t so bad too. Maybe this sounded better in tha beginning but still, tha beat really stood out on this one. To add to this: Yeah, this shit be jammin’! That beat FUCKIN’ HOT!! Supa and his “uh huhhh!!”ness iz REALLY addictin’ when listenin’ to him! :tu Down Bad’ll go down as pretty much tha best group in Baton Rouge… EVA!!! Well, I guess next to Concentration Camp… My Current Rating: 4.3

17. “Up In Da Club” Feat. Terror & Cage
More King Arthur, but more typical type shit. I hope Terror can save this joint! >>> I get so jealous wit tha title/hook ‘cause I feel like I’ll neva get to tha club… No transportation, nobody up here, straight bullshit situation I’m in. Tha hook I can’t comment on ‘cause I’m jealous, but nice lil’ beat so far. Sounds like your 1st verse iz on some good shit! Like all tha “jiggin’” parts. Good job on your 1st verse; this ain’t too bad for me. And tha whole “poppin’ them choppaz” part in tha hook iz another reason why my family has to stereotype all that shit, which decreases tha chances of me gettin’ to tha club. Sounds like Cage on tha 2nd verse, and it’s not bad. REALLY lookin’ forward to Terror on tha 3rd verse… THAT FUCKIN’ VOICE; YEAH!!! I REALLY HOPE he loved tha review I just did for him wit tha “When Terror Strikes” CD! Pretty nice for him. On a song like this, I didn’t expect better for tha verses, as I knew they were gonna be averageish. My Rating: 3.8

18. “Don’t Push Me” Feat. Terror
I always get these “Don’t *insert word* Me” titles confused… Especially wit Terror bein’ on ‘em. I know “Don’t Insult Me”, “Don’t Watch Me”, and now, “Don’t Push Me”, lol! But Terror’s on this shit again, so I’m REALLY lookin’ forward! Looks like we might get back to some more GOOD songs I don’t know! >>> OH SHIT… It’s tha “The Message” song from Grandmaster Flash!! My Modern Belief teacher put tha video on in class, and we had to tell her what things are bein’ described in tha video; GREAT SHIT that day! And this ain’t even on that beat; you know it’s an original beat!! And tha beginning sounds GREAT, especially wit an imitation of tha “The Message” joint. Damn, you sayin’ a lot on tha 1st verse; feelin’ this 1st verse! Ooh, Terror on tha 2nd verse… FUCKIN’, FUCKIN’, FUCKIN’ LOVE tha part about tha “kushy/George Bushy,” and good looks on tha “good/bad guy like Nu$$ie” part. :tu Terror smokin’ = $ A GREAT MOMENT $ He had a REAL NICE verse to hear; fuckin’ got SO MUCH LUV for Terror, ya dig! Supa, you’re tha best character outta Down Bad by tha way wit how your voice gets on tracks, and does whateva! My Rating: 4.2

19. Real Talk Skit (TIC)
I can’t read (smh) tha parenthesis part after “skit” for some reason… But, let’s see what we got goin’ on here… >>> Dude sounded cool, and I don’t know what else to say; glad he’s “loaded,” ya heard me! My Rating: N/A
EDIT: Just looked in tha light, and I think it said “TIC” in tha parenthesis part.

20. “I’m Holdin’ (I Been Drinking, I Been Smoking)”
This iz a title I really like, and it makes me predict that tha hook gon be a sample of your beginning verse on “Out Da Box”. Let’s see if I’m right! >>> Good beat intro (nice Baton Rouge sound)! Glad you “fulla dat shit!” :tu Not a sample, but pretty much what you said in tha beginning of tha verse. No more “pop 1, pop 2,” it’s now “pop 3, pop 4,” lol!! :tu Did yo thang on tha 1st verse right there. GREAT start to tha 2nd verse wit tha “purple haze” part. :tu Great 2nd verse/great verses on this joint right here! My Rating: 4.0

21. “Don’t Fuck Wit Me” Feat. Terror
Another King Arthur track… >>> Yeah, “I’m from Louisiana where them niggaz go tha hardest;” that’s a TRUE statement right there!! NOTHIN’ ELSE fits but Louisiana music for me, ESPECIALLY Baton Rouge music!! Pretty nice beat goin’ on here!! Do I hear background vocals from Terror? Oh shit! It’s you on tha 1st verse, so let’s see here… A tough Supa here on this verse! You did yo thang! I’m gonna put Terror in tha ID, and consider it an ID error ‘cause background vocals DO count! Great 2nd verse on this, and that hook iz tha truth, especially wit tha “I’m from Louisiana…” part!! My Rating: 4.1

22. Outro
And we end it wit 1:14 of… >>> J-Dirty… He gotta get back in touch wit me if he want me to say somethin’ about this outro! My Rating: N/A

Overall: End Time: 7:36 PM. Well, good job Supa! You have yourself a REAL NICE mixtape!! You did yo thang on this shit, but I actually liked Terror’s mixtape better. I thought it was gonna be tha opposite, but I was wrong. You did yo thang, but Terror surprised me more. Lookin’ forward to everything you got goin’ on in tha future! Take this review, and enjoy it!
