Review #1,952: Lil' Bone "Pay Da Cost 2 Be Da Boss"

Reviewed on 12.30.2020 (Review #1,952)

Been a lil’ quiet wit tha reviewz, as of lately. With not havin’ a job fa four months & constant back/neck pains, I’ve been tryna get other ventures out tha way. I have new music comin’ soon, as well as a bunch of video countdowns & older projects I’ve been workin’ on, since tha previous decade. I’m also tryin’ to schedule my new album, Autistic Stoner Rap, as my 2,000th review. After this one, I’ll be at only 48 more reviewz till that feat, so I gotta pace myself accordingly. Lucky for this review I finna do, I made sure that after meetin’ dude on September 2, 2020 & later recordin’ in dude’s studio a week later, I had ta buy this release & review it b4 tha year ended! Here goes my review fa my homeboy, Lil’ Bone Pay Da Cost 2 Be Da Boss, courtesy of Bonefide Music Group [pronounced “BONE-AH-FYDE”]! Shout out ta DJ B-Real fa playin’ a major part in dis, as well!! Finna shmoke me a bowl & get right inta dis “Bonepiece” [pronounced “BONE-AH-PIECE”], lol! Start Time: 8:13 PM | End Time: 9:35 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. “I Paid Da Cost”
Producer: DJ B-Real
Let’s git it! >>> Definitely pretty dope-n-dark production vibes comin’ out dem B-Real keyz; 💯% pure!! Definitely a plus wit Bone comin’ through on this, wit 💯% confidence…!! Luv how B-Real’s keys, on tha hook, sounded like they sunk, on one of tha proceedin’ barz! Definitely catchy—I’m pretty high, as I start dis off; definitely official!! Lol @ Bone’s line about tha “studio […] features […], sayin’, ‘Lawd Jesus’!” I’m glad I’ve always appreciated bein’ in tha presence of you & tha Bonefide’s company; glad you & B tha A-Team!! My Rating: 4.9

02. “Should’ve Been Blowed Up” feat. DJ B-Real
Producer: DJ B-Real
Looks like it gon be dope…, of course! >>> Sounds like a good, dark, classic-soundin’ street vibe; definitely nice! Really feelin’ how B comin’ through on tha hook; definitely official!! Lol, totally in-sync wit tha title part!! Like, frfr, he definitely got it & feel like he will blow “up” wit it!! Definitely dope hearin’ him spittin’ rhymes on tha 1st verse, tho; definitely official!! Felt every piece of it, from tha heart; that’s how B brings it!! Of course, you already know wit my opportunities comin’ up, I want B-Real ta “blow up” wit dis shit wit me, ya heard me?! Definitely, definitely…! Got you on tha 2nd verse, Bone, comin’ through wit a successful past, present & future—that’s tha present, lol (feelin’ “successful”)…!! My Rating: 4.9

03. “I Be Cuttin’ Up”
Neva reviewed an album from iTunes that has multiple years displayed on tha tracks. This track iz from 2017, so let’s see how you was “cuttin’ up,” durin’ that tyme…! >>> Definitely feelin’ how you have that 💯% Jigga City vibe in ya, here, as well as tha dope-ass production!! You definitely stay in-sync wit dis shit, to tha fullest…! Definitely awesome ta hear you on tha 1st verse, ya feel me?! From tha “golds” to tha “hoes” to everythang that make you cut “up,” you got dis!! Tha 2nd verse dope as fuck, as well; glad you keep it as trill as can be; you already know what da bidness iz…! Sounds like it was meant ta be perfect, based off of how it’s a few years old & here, fa tha 2K20? Definitely!! My Rating: 5.0

04. “All I Need Is U” feat. Geeno & Drell
I hate when I buy albums from iTunes & random songs seem to not wanna convert. That means, I have to buy tha track(s) a 2nd tyme on Amazon, in order to review/have tha track(s). Was this worth tha extra purcha$e…? >>> Don’t know if Geeno got tha singin’ vibe down pat like B-Real, yet? Sounds like an “A” track & by “A”, I mean Dat Boy “A”—“A”drian Bagh…er, lol; that’s how I detect how its voice sounds… I have ta say, not somethin’ that I thought was gon be depressin’; catchy shit…! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse & you got some good shit goin’ on, whether it comes ta this loyalty shit; on Bone! Instantly, not tha type of track I’d go as crazy as tha 1st three for but with this extra purchase, I guess tha “extra” was wortheth iteth, lol? Say that five tymes fast, lol! “Wortheth iteth, wortheth iteth, wortheth iteth, wortheth iteth, wortheth iteth!” Lol, I had only successfully said that five tymes fast, due to its rhythm, not how ta say it in str8-up English, lol! Don’t you luv that good, potent bud?! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse & it sounds like a rough day in tha hoodz of BR; glad tha “struggle” brings tha BEST strength out ya…! Overall, a decent lil’ luvable song… My Rating: 4.2

05. “Who Cares” feat. DJ B-Real
Producer: DJ B-Real
! … ! … ! … >>> Sounds like a cool lil’ sample/key manipulation in tha beat? Cool; diggin’ how tha hook sounds pretty hypnotizin’, even wit B-Real playin’ wit tha voice EFX & shit… At least it’s only a portion of a voice effect on tha hook, overall; it’s acceptable, here. Hearin’ tha 1st verse from Bone & it sounds pretty fucked up wit tha whole custody/baby-mama drama…Sounds like a dope lil’ B-Real verse on tha 2nd verse, here; definitely cool…! Sounds like he runnin’ a race durin’ tha beginning of tha verse & then, hits us wit tha brakes ta slowly end his verse; definitely dope! Luv how this sounds real hypnotizin’, real & boss-made, tho a “struggle” on tha outside, literally. My Rating: 4.7

06. “Ain’t Gave Me Nothing” feat. Doe Boy
Almost ain’t recognize this Doe Boy till I randomly looked on my blog & almost 400 reviewz ago, back four years ago, I reviewed seven-year-olds All Eyes On Me by Nino, as well as Soul Muzik by Geeno; Doe Boy iz featured…! *Re-reads reviewz…* Hmm, looks like I went way more with tha Nino route…! I remember when Lee Banks went by tha moniker, durin’ tha 2000’s & early 2010’s. Seein’ later on this release that this Doe Boy done passed, let’s see how much he was worth, here, as I hear this…! >>> Sounds like a cool lil’ beat; definitely pure, to tha fulless! Cool lil’ hook wit how you come through wit some of tha best-soundin’ shit fa tha undaground! Glad you released this tha day b4 my most-recent birthday, tho I neva got tha chance ta peep it out till now…! I kept my promise; glad I’m reviewin’ this, right nah…!! Hearin’ how you come through wit tha hook, again & that “nothing” vibe makes you a strong one; real talk! Got tha good-ole Doe Boy on tha 2nd verse & yeah, definitely nice wit what he presented fa you, here…! Sounds like he had it rough wit tha BM drama; thank God I hopped over that venomous rabbit hole!! Either way, definitely a dope collab, from gettin’ it out tha mud!! My Rating: 4.4

07. “Built Like Dat”
2K-shitty-18, here… >>> Sounds like a nice lil’ beat start, here…! Sounds like anotha pure, Jigga City-type vibe, like anotha random/dope night in tha yo—tha Bonefide yo, that iz!! Sounds like a dope lil’ 1st verse, tellin’ “it like it iz,” like a real ‘80s baby in they 30’s would! Definitely feelin’ how you comin’ through on this, to tha fullest; definitely addictive & respected! Gotta be “Built Like Dat”; you already know what it iz! Keepin’ this shit goin’ wit tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit nothin’ but tha best! You 💯% in these streetz; I can hear it in tha ‘80s-baby quality of yours, of course! Dem ‘80s babies know what it iz!! My Rating: 4.8

½time: Did tha weed make it seem like this a special review?? I feel that it depends on tha original AL—anticipation level. Because this was pretty “up there,” like my dude, Killa McClain, I already know that tha weed only made tha AL potent, ya heard me? It’s like I can really appreciate & expose tha good vibes, ya feel me?! Definitely on tha right track, with a 4.7 for tha average rating, right nah…!! That’s HUGE!!! It’s Young Ready That’s How I’m Coming—type HUGE!! I feel like it’s those dayz, again; what betta way fa me ta approach Age 21!! I’m SO glad I got ta reviewin’ this, like I said I was gon do, back on November 8th! It’s all about accomplishin’ what you say you gon do! That’s why, I’m leadin’/am valuable, till this day!!

08. “Take A Ride” feat. DJ B-Real
Would love to…! I remember when you & B took “a ride,” earlier this year, on May 2nd. Y’all went to tha N.O. & when I checked into tha live, I luv how B was like, “Frankiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie!! Frankiiiiiiiiiiiie!! Tha Lucky Dog…!” Great tyme; now, let’s see if this “ride”’s worth it! >>> Definitely dope as fuck wit tha screwed voice, as well as tha beat intro slowly hittin’ hard!! Sounds like a dope lil’ hook, once again! I feel almost tha same way wit tha B-Real voice-effect exploration, like from earlier in this review…! Sounds good wit how you got tha 1st verse goin’—should I say, “Ridin’,” like you, Bone, lol? Definitely dope; luv tha “lean!” Luv how you fulla dem good “pillz,” just bein’ tha celeb you iz!! Luv how this has a bit of an H-Town vibe in tha lyrics, as well as how y’all slam tha BR vibes!! Ooh, B-Real on tha 2nd verse, really feelin’ tha vibe, to tha fullest (both B-Real & I feelin’ tha vibe)!! Definitely nice; luv how he have tha H-Town accent in this, too! Speakin’ of this past year, I luved when, on April 29th—I actually guessed it right, just now—B-Real had a story with, I think, tha Fredo Most Hated release in tha background & at tha end, he was like, “Yeah, that real mud!” I feel tha stickiness in it, displayed here!! My Rating: 4.8

09. “My Nigga (R.I.P. Doe Boy)” feat. Baby D
I see y’all made a typo on tha late homie’s name, here. Usually, tha typo iz a surroundin’ key; “B” & “D” are, like, keys away, lol… Either way, same thing wit Doe Boy, we got Baby D, here, on tha feature. I know of a Baby D from tha crunk tymes of tha 2000’s, as well as tha Baby D in tha dance-music world of tha ‘90s. Now, we have a Baby D in tha 2K20’s—oh wait, 2K18, accordin’ to tha year. He musta passed a while ago? >>> Again, it may sound like anotha instant doubt but I’ono if this chick can be on a B-Real level, between this singin’ & tha BR tight vibes…? I can appreciate it; it ain’t no supa-sad song, luckily. I feel how tha beats back it up in a nice way, ya feel me? Maybe, I should do a tribute video on Doe Boy, one day? At least you provided a fact in tha beginning of tha 1st verse, “October 30, 1991.” Oh, damn, “October 14, 2017;” that’s following a Friday tha 13th & that was tha same day that dude in tha BR streetz raped, robbed & threatened me! That street name where it happened just grosses me out, now!! However, I do remember bein’ in BR, durin’ that trip (my 3rd trip); I remember tryna get a hold of B-Real & Pablo Escobar told me that homeboy passed away. I ain’t connect who I thought died vs. Doe Boy as tha same person but now, it makes sense. Needless ta say, definitely feelin’ how you expressin’ tha pain, stories, life tymes & all tha moments ova this pure quality (production)!! Back ta hearin’ tha 2nd verse & I luv how you lead tha leader path ta your neph, here; glad you inspired his presence! I look at you as a pure BR a$$et, no doubt; keep up tha Bonefide grind!! Afta hearin’ how this track came out, between tha story & vibe, I seem ta like it more than when it started…! My Rating: 4.4

10. “My Girl”
Producer: DJ B-Real
Hmm… >>> Sounds like a cool lil’ B-Real beat, here. Like, it’s a gumbo pot? Sounds like it’s for tha ladies; sounds like it’s a lil’ bit on an upbeat R&B vibe; sounds like it’s for tha BR streetz? Lots in one gumbo pot!! Luv how you comin’ through on tha 1st verse, here; definitely official! Luv how B-Real holdin’ tha beat down, durin’ tha different patterns & shit; definitely official! Luv how you comin’ through on tha 2nd verse, Bone; all tha way “naked” on they ass, too! Gates closed, it’s Bone’s home, here! Also, tha singin’ cool; glad it came out tha way it did, nice & catchy/hood, ova tha B-Realness! My Rating: 4.6

11. “I Heard” feat. DJ B-Real & Peter Pound
Str8 outta 2K18 wit a Small Circle Kartel collab, here…! >>> Definitely dope shit fa tha streetz, here; all about them damn problemz! Great job collaboratin’ on tha hook, between you & P-Pound! Also, B-Real on tha 1st verse, here, all about tha instant/“direct” route, here! Always know you always got it, B-Real! I gon make SURE that I always got it, all day, every day!! Got P-Pound on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit his presence, soundin’ dope fa these SCK streetz of BR…! Though 2K18 lead to my arrest, at least there was this hot track ta locally make it through tha shitty air! Glad you got a FANTASTIC ear fa DOPE tracks, Bone!! You on tha 3rd verse, here, comin’ through wit them bullet-piercin’ rhymes & flows fa tha 2-2-5; 💯!! My Rating: 4.5

12. “What U Need” feat. Big Wayne & Young Bleed
Producer: Big Wayne
Nice that you got Bleed on tha feature. I know when I was wit you & B on September 2nd, we talked about my upcomin’ mega BR collab. Not only am I still invitin’ you on to tha collab but I even had Bleed in mind, as well. When I told Bleed I was makin’ my way to tha Boot, he said, “I’m in Kentucky,” smh. Needless ta say, here we go wit dis track; can’t wait ta hear…! >>> A nice lil’ intro; let’s git it…! When will Big Weezy make a comeback fa me? Been almost four years since our last talk… Like, my last talk wit him iz almost longer than me not talkin’ ta B-Real? Like, seems like two different planets, though it’s my same life… Tha hook definitely nice fa tha streetz; gotta luv it & why I luv tha BR lyfe…! Got you on tha 1st verse, Bone, comin’ through wit your dope rhymes, as always; you know what it iziz…! Keepin’ it movin’, of course, Mr. Blizzeed on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through nicely on a Wayne beat…! Should I feel like it’s a guilty pleasure ta currently give Big Wayne feedback? Big Weezy soundin’ nice on tha 3rd verse; I’ll leave it just at that, until he reconnects wit me. In tha end, we all ‘80s babies… Then again, when he said, “Fuck jail,” it’s ironic that while we weren’t talkin’ (still), I was in “jail” on his birthday, in 2019; damn, Big Wayne… My Rating: 4.3

13. “Out My Brain” feat. DJ B-Real, Nino & Don Julio
Looks like it gon be a hype, fun track…!! >>> Yeah, sounds like a pretty hype hook; luv how B-Real comin’ through wit these “barz” & as a “Watson!” Luv that it’s a “Circle” presentation, here; you know what it iz!! “Been poppin’ since 3:00,” huh? Definitely all-nightin’ to tha fullest, here; crazy! Can only imagine tha EXPERIENCES goin’ through y’all!! Bone, you really official wit it!! Nino comin’ through on tha 2nd verse & he sound like he one of tha most-official ones, here; I’m definitely always down ta kick it wit BR’s best, in tha undaground! Oh boy, B-Real on tha 3rd verse, comin’ outta nowhere wit “two,” when it comes to them “tabs;” definitely 💯!! Like, 💯 x 💯, accordin’ ta B-Real’s body?! I think so…! Definitely real nice wit how he provided his 💊-up & 💊-out ass, lol!! Luv how tha ending just echoes, fades & iz still aggressive af!! My Rating: 4.9

14. “Stop Cuffin’”
Producer: DJ B-Real
Two words I hate! “Stop” & “cuffin’,” especially since my arrest in cuffs! That don’t “stop” me from anticipatin’ this one as a hot joint, tho…; maybe? >>> Luv how tha intro part reminds me of our boy, Doe-Doe, in a sense. Like, BR’s undaground, with tha dialect/beat vibe combination? Definitely dope; feelin’ tha hook, too, wit tha beat goin’ off & tha catchiness…! Hearin’ tha 1st verse & it’s pretty nice, as “nice” iz tha consistent way you know how ta deliver them tracks! 💯!! Bone always bones, lol, comin’ through wit tha “bitch” swappin’! An all-in hook!! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse & tha consistency continues; livin’ that everyday life of tha BR undaground, here…! My Rating: 4.2

15. “Made Something Outta Nothing” feat. Geeno & Drell
Sappy-type of ending…? I only rated it a 3.3 when I reviewed it, back in 2K13… >>> Yeah, a lil’ sappy but I feel like I have a lil’ more appreciation fa it. Sounds like tha bouncy-type of BR beat sounds good wit how y’all came from tha “nothing;” thumbs up…! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse, Bone & I’m feelin’ how you expressin’ tha life of tha Bonefide! Real talk…! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse from Drell & it’s pretty nice; nice lil’ consistent flow, even if this seemed like a decent 1st listen, in tha past… Even a lil’ bit of Geeno comin’ through wit an outro part/endin’ of this release… Good job, y’all; glad I’m feelin’ it a lil’ more ta help it keep up wit your consistent ratings…! Great job; you bring an A+ vibe ta BR & I’m glad you know where tha REAL “A”-Game at!! My Current Rating: 4.0

Overall: I knew this release was gon be tha shit but I ain’t thank by shmokin’ that weed that this was gon make me feel like I was in 2008, only high!! That’s how I definitely want ta live my life, ya feel me?! AWESOME job believin’ as much in B-Real as you do; definitely worth a FORTUNE, in tha end!! Even doin’ this review felt like I was in 2008 with how it progressed, my inescapable feelings bein’ expressed, tha quality & B-Real’s contribution rate!! Definitely one for tha books, here!! Hate that I reviewed it a half-year & a third-month—lol—late, lol. However, I’m just glad you got my $$$, Bone, not just for this release but already on tha bidne$$ side of thangz! That’s a “W” for “Wonafide,” lol; frfr!

Review #1,602: Geeno "Soul Muzik"

Reviewed on 12.01.2016 (Review #1,602)

I’ono about my next review, here, with it bein’ on tha R&B side… Geeno Soul Muzik, released in 2013 on Small Circle Kartel Entertainment… Start Time: 6:25 PM | End Time: 7:27 PM

© 2016 CD Review (Review #1,602) reviewed on 12.01.2016 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Ever Loved Somebody”
G-Motive on tha beat… >>> Beat ain’t too bad, here… You’re settin’ a decent vibe with your singin’, here… Tha hook ain’t too bad with a sample, surprisingly… My Rating: 3.1

02. “Come Home”
You produced this one… >>> I kinda like this singin’ a lil’ betta but this still ain’t really up my alley… You sound good wit tha singin’ but I’ono how much regular people can take this serious, as far as a mainstream appeal or somethin’… My Rating: 3.2

03. “Dance The Night Away”
Julio on tha beat… >>> Titled “Dance With You” on DatPiff… I ain’t really feelin’ or anticipatin’ this voice… Ehh, can’t really say much about this; just a usual attempt at today’s R&B… My Rating: 1.7

04. “All My Love”
G-Motive beat… >>> Even slower but not too bad, so far… Ehh, kinda dead-beat but it ain’t bad-bad… My Rating: 2.3

05. “Bad Girl”
>>> May not be my type of music to anticipate, but this beat intro got me hyped! Even referencin’ R. Kelly & Big Tigger’s “Snake”, too… Tha hook sounds pretty nice and this soundin’ like it’s flowin’ in a special way… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ good, too; can’t complain… Could this be my top-rated one? My Rating: 3.7

06. “Cater 2 U” feat. Nino & Doe Boy
Same thing with this title… BeatMonstaz on tha beat… >>> I think tha title on tha DatPiff tracklist looks betta as “Dedicated 2 U” than just “Cater 2 U”…? Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it ain’t bad fa singin’… Rappin’ on tha 2nd verse, here; consistent shit, Doe Boy, even tho I don’t think tha fastness fits this vibe… Fuck! Tha ID threw me off on tha back cover! Tha DatPiff one got it right wit Nino before Doe Boy… Aight, here comes Doe Boy on tha 3rd verse and it sounds good… Even tho I don’t fuck wit this shit, his shit with tha “R. Kelly” music reference makes good for a lil’ fuckin’, right? My Rating: 2.7

07. “#2”
??? >>> Big Wayne doin’ tha beat… I actually like how this sounds fa a slow one and tha hook ain’t too bad… Rappin’ on tha 1st verse, here, soundin’ decent… Here you are on tha 2nd verse, singin’, soundin’ decent… More rappin’ goin’ on, here, on tha 3rd verse, soundin’ aight… And, more rappin’ on tha 4th verse, soundin’ nice… I’ono who all tha rappers are, tho; doesn’t say, anywhere? My Rating: 3.5

08. “Change Yo Life” feat. Lil’ Mook
Kinda scarin’ me wit these no-producer tracks… >>> It did say a producer in tha beginning, but I couldn’t catch who it was… Beat sounds a lil’ upbeat but tha quality of tha audio sounds a lil’ on tha undaground/low quality side… Tha hook aight; can’t really say anything on it… Hearin’ tha 1st verse from Mook and tha rappin’ sounds cool, here, keepin’ it southern… You on tha 2nd verse and it ain’t too bad… My Rating: 2.8

09. “Uncomparable”
??? >>> Big Wayne on tha beat… It sounds decent, here, on tha hook… Kinda boring and draggin’, but it iz what it iz… My Rating: 2.6

½time: So far, outta tha back cover’s tracks, I ain’t hear “Like Ohh” (produced by B-Real & NeilOnDaTrack), “Thank They Know” (produced by WeThaFewture), “You Wrong” (feat. Drell & produced by B-Real) & “The Forecast” (produced by B-Real). It’s like, talk about unexpectedly avoidin’ B-Real! But yeah, I don’t really come here to review R&B music that’s on tha boring side… So far, only a 2.8 for tha CD rating…

10. “Sorry” feat. Nino
Don Julio on tha beat (full name?)… >>> Not anticipatin’ this sorrow shit… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s bleh…!! You on tha 1st verse and it’s aight… Nino on tha 2nd verse, really lovin’ “this relationship,” as he don’t “wanna quit!” My Rating: 2.1

11. “Dey Call Me”
WeThaFewture beat… >>> Really? WTF (lol) are tha “you know I made tha beat” people, smh? Fuck that! Kinda likin’ that this more on tha rap side, as far as tha production… Kinda likin’ how you comin’ through on tha 1st verse, as if Ginuwine was havin’ fun or somethin’… Tha hook sounds pretty anthemic; ain’t expect this hyped-upness… Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ nice, too, even tho there’s a lotta big dreams bein’ displayed on tha track, here… My Rating: 3.4

12. “Lovers & Friends” feat. Blvd Jay & Roota
Wasn’t anticipatin’ this title, as I thought it was gon go a Lil’ Jon & The Eastside Boyz & Usher route. However, Big Wayne produced this, so hopefully, it’s a lil’ betta? >>> Looks like I was right about tha remake; bleh… Sounds betta than usual shit on here for a production from Big Wayne, but ehh… You on tha 1st verse and I ain’t really got anythang ta say about it… Tha 2nd verse iz you again, soundin’ a lil’ catchy wit tha flow, here… Blvd Jay on tha 3rd verse, layin’ down some rhymes… Jay + Big Wayne on tha combination sounds like a good lil’ Baton Rouge rap song, overall… And, a 4th verse: Roota comin’ through, comparin’ tha “bitch” to a “new brick;” dope… Basically, I only came here for tha rappin’… My Rating: 2.2

13. “Your Love”
??? >>> Big Wayne beat; Big Wayne produced a bunch of these tracks that are not on tha back cover… Beat’s kinda plain with a few catchy sounds and you sound decent on this… Nothin’ much ta say about this, overall… My Rating: 2.5

14. “Tell Me”
No producer listed… >>> Just decent, once again… My Rating: 2.0

15. “Something Out Of Nothing” feat. Lil’ Bone & Drell
No producer listed… >>> A lil’ more jammin’… Even on an R&B CD/track like this, there’ll be “money” rappin’, smh… Either way, nice to just randomly hear a Bone verse, I guess? Drell sounds nice wit tha rappin’ on tha 2nd verse, too… Kinda glad this was more on tha rappin’ side, compared to tha R&B vibe of this CD… And, endin’ it wit you singin’… My Rating: 3.3

16. “Finally Here”
Don Julio on tha beat… >>> Decent; nothin’ much ta say, once again… My Rating: 2.4

17. “Stressing Me” feat. Rundy
Endin’ it with a no-producer track? >>> This iz what it iz… Rundy sounds nice and hyped-up wit tha rappin’, tho! My Rating: 2.9

Overall: Not really an R&B type of person… This shit was decent fa an R&B CD, even tho I ain’t rate it too high… I was wonderin’ why all those tracks on tha back cover I ain’t hear on here? Also, some tracks were in tha folder and not on tha back cover? Confusing…

Review #1,601: Nino "All Eyes On Me"

Reviewed on 11.30.2016 (Review #1,601)

Gettin’ some more reviewz outta my way… Forgot how I found out about this one but straight outta Small Circle Kartel Entertainment, it’s Nino All Eyes On Me, released back three years ago, in 2013! Start Time: 4:49 PM | End Time: 6:11 PM

Anything I type before “ >>> “ iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> “ iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. “Intro”
An intro with 4:21 on tha length? >>> Sounds pretty good with your intro, this beat, and how you sound like Spitta on tha verse, here…; dope… My Rating: 3.8

02. “Pay Attention” feat. Geeno
>>> G-Motivation beat; nice lil’ soundin’ beat, here… Tha beat’s a spin-off of Slick Rick’s “Children Story”, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ jammin’, like it was a West Coast anthem; dope shit! I like how you “addicted ta shmokin’ weed.” Gotta luv it, even tho I feel like I’m not “addicted” to it. Example: Today, I’m just gettin’ reviewz done… Tha 2nd verse’s nice with tha “got me a plug for dat weed,” when it came to you bein’ “15;” nice! My Rating: 4.3

03. “Life Of A Thug Nigga” feat. Ray Vicks
>>> Sounds like a nice lil’ street anthem; dope shit! Simple but pure hook with that beat! Tha 1st verse pretty nice, here; good shit… Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse and you consistently keepin’ it goin’, here; nice! Did I miss Ray Vicks or did y’all sound alike? Weird… My Rating: 3.7

04. “Outchea”
>>> Sounds like an excellent production, here! Gotta luv tha trombone! Shit sounds nice on tha hook, between bein’ “off tha porch” and bein’ “outchea!” Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice wit how you comin’ through wit it… I expect, like, some hi-hats or somethin’ in tha beat, here, but there’s none… It kinda missin’ an extra spice in tha beat… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ good, too, lettin’ it be known what be goin’ down… My Rating: 4.3

05. “Misunderstood”
>>> Comin’ through wit Big Wayne doin’ tha beat! Sounds good; can’t say much else about tha production… Baton Rouge at its finest! Hearin’ tha hook and it’s soundin’ nice wit how you keep tellin’ ‘em how they be havin’ shit “misunderstood;” dope shit! Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice wit how you comin’ through wit this gangsta shit! Tha 2nd verse’s good, as you keepin’ it G, here… My Rating: 4.2

06. “Don’t Need”
>>> Soundin’ like a catchier beat, here; definitely feelin’ those keys! Tha hook’s pretty nice; true shit about “friends turn into enemies!” Hearin’ tha 1st verse and you soundin’ good… As long as you spittin’ rhymes, you a celeb ta me—well, a celeb in tha makin’! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and you keepin’ it goin’ wit err-thang goin’ on, here… My Rating: 4.0

07. “Rather Be With You”
>>> This beat’s nice, too; gotta get used to tha background vocal sample, tho, on tha hook… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it ain’t too bad, here… I’ont think I gon feel this one like some of tha other shit on here, but it ain’t too bad… Tha one good thing about it iz that tha beat’s nice and it’s not too long (3:00’s nice)… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ good, too… My Rating: 3.6

08. “‘Bout That Life”
>>> Ain’t catch tha producer on tha beat but it’s anotha one of those quality-soundin’ beats from tha 225! Sounds like a good street anthem with that Spitta-like flow/sound, here! Nice, includin’ tha hook… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ catchy with these barbequin’ rhymes! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ decent, too; gotta keep it movin’… My Rating: 3.8

½time: Nice job with this CD, so far! Great production and you bringin’ a good set of tracks, here! 4.0 fa tha CD rating, currently…

09. “Go Wit Yo Move” feat. Roota & Blvd Jay
I think this gon be good/tha best one on here? >>> Definitely feelin’ tha intense beat intro!! Lol, I luv how I predicted this ta be my favorite track and it only has to get at least a 4.4 to be my top-rated, so far! Definitely feelin’ tha energy on tha hook and tha beat! Definitely top-notch shit!! These types of jiggin’/hyped-up tracks neva get old!! Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice; gotta luv this! It’s all about partyin’ at all times!! Fuck those goin’ ta sleep early!! Tha 2nd verse’s pretty energetic and aggressive wit tha delivery, here! Sounds like tha volume went up in tha voice! Gotta luv tha upbeat vibes!! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it’s soundin’ pretty nice, too! A Small “Circle” Kartel representation, here! I luv how it ended kinda strange, too, quickly… My Rating: 4.6

10. “Heaven Or Hell”
>>> Should I have guessed it was gon be this track with Guordan Banks and ‘em? Kinda a shitty way to follow up that energetic track… *Yawns…* Ugh! A whole 5:44? Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it’s pretty nice wit how you comin’ through wit this energy, deliverin’ tha aggressive shit… Tha 2nd verse soundin’ nice, too, comin’ through nicely wit it… My Rating: 3.7

11. “Do 4 Love” feat. JPP3
>>> We’re goin’ downhill wit this CD? Not too crazy about tha singin’ or tha jacked-soundin’ beat, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it aight… Tha 2nd verse straight, too, but not my kinda vibe, here… My Rating: 3.3

12. “Goin’ In” feat. Doe Boy
A throwback feature, here (well, at tha time of this release, it would’ve been not too long ago), with this Short Bus Boy! >>> Sounds so much betta on tha start, here! Ken on tha beat? Just takin’ a guess from what I might’ve heard in tha background… Let’s just say it was a guess… Tha hook sounds nice with tha “retarded” shit and even tho this sounds nice, I feel like it’s lackin’ energy? Hearin’ tha 1st verse and tha beat continues ta stay interesting wit you holdin’ shit down… Keepin’ it goin’ wit Doe Boy on tha 2nd verse, here, soundin’ nice on this track! Glad ta hear from him again! Then again, this don’t sound like tha same Doe Boy, to be honest… I’ll have to do research when I can! And, almost thought tha track ended but tha beat shall continue! My Rating: 4.3

13. “Them Days” feat. Kevin Gates
Let’s see… >>> Not feelin’ how it starts with a Monica sample in tha beginning, but it’s soundin’ nice with this production… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ pretty nice ta hear… And, Gates on tha 2nd verse, here, doin’ his thang wit his braggin’-soundin’ rhymes… My Rating: 4.3

14. “Jump” feat. Dat Boy A, Foxx & JPP3
What a lineup! >>> Here’s some energy, here! Definitely feelin’ tha energetic beat, as well as A holdin’ down tha hook! All about tha jumpin’!! Got you on tha 1st verse, rattlin’ dem rhymes off!! “Fresher than a pack of swishers!” And, Foxx on tha 2nd verse, providin’ as much energy as A, here! Gotta luv it at all times!! And, that JPP3 dude on tha 3rd verse, here… I almost thought he was a singer on one of them tracks I ain’t feel too much, but I guess he rappin’… It’s decent rappin’; he just a filler, basically… Nothin’ negative, tho nothin’ exciting… My Rating: 4.6

15. “Tell You This”
”You”, not “Yo”? >>> Yeah, I’d say, “You”; even says it in my iTunes… Sounds like one of them country rap tunes, like, tha today’s version of it on tha beat… Hearin’ tha hook and it decent; nothin’ special wit this title… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it aight, too… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it iz what it iz, holdin’ it down… My Rating: 3.3

16. “Dumb Ova Here” feat. Doe Boy
Likin’ tha feature again! >>> Sounds like anotha energetic vibe! It might even be more energetic than tha previous Doe Boy collab! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ nice wit how you deliverin’ this street shit… Tha hook’s simple and plain; gotta luv tha hyped-up vibe! That’s all I know! “Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb! I’m throwed off!” And, that Doe Boy on tha 2nd verse, here, soundin’ like Young Gregory with tha voice, this time… Definitely feelin’ tha club/hood shit he bringin’ to tha table; gotta luv it! My Rating: 4.2

17. “Street Muzik” feat. Roota & Donkey
Yeah…! >>> Sounds good in tha beginning, here; nice hook… Hearin’ tha 1st—oh, looka! Features! Not listed on tha back cover! Good thing I noticed ‘em and heard tha 1st verse, here! Shit’s definitely nice on tha 1st verse, wit dat aggression!! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ nice, too; can’t complain… Great job wit this collab, too; dumb shit! My Rating: 4.3

Overall: Sounded like a nice CD, here; props ta SCK! Hope you keep it movin’! I know you already are!
