Been a lil’ minute since I did some reviewz… Got thrown off with Zoe Realla’s death, as I did a tribute video for him and then, just got caught up in tha 50-hour work week… But, here I am, finna review this mixtape I bought at Sundown. It’s a random compilation and I took a pic of tha tracklist… Here goes my review for tha Go Tuff mixtape… Start Time: 6:11 PM | End Time: 7:15 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. If that’s tha case, I gon review that one, here… Beat sounds nice fa tha Rouge; tha hook’s pretty nice, too… And, 1^st time hearin’ WeeThang on tha 1^st verse, here, soundin’ nice… At :48, we brought it back; sounds like a dope track… Once I met dude, I knew he had some sorta future, so I wish tha best of success fa him! Keepin’ it movin’ wit anotha WeeThang verse, here, soundin’ dope; good shit! Makes me wanna get back to tha Rouge ASAP! I hate that it’s $600 for a plane ticket, smh; why so much? Money ain’t an issue but why can’t it be, like, $400 or somethin’, tha most? My Rating: 4.5

2013, here; a compilation? >>> Sounds like a catchy, club-like track, here, wit Loc on tha 1^st verse… Loc wasn’t credited on tha back cover’s tracklist so I had to do my searchin’… Sometimes, I don’t expect club-type music from him but shit like this sounds pretty dope… Tha hook’s pretty catchy, here; good shit… Tha 2^nd verse’s pretty nice wit this “gumbo” he providin’… And, tha Pop on tha 3^rd verse, here, soundin’ good, as always… I remember back in tha day, I thought he was okay, but trash. Now, it’s like, I’m glad we hear from some of these people, now-a-dayz! And, let’s see how this Micheal Sterling dude gon be on tha 4^th verse… “MySpace,” huh, lol? Oh yeah, this four years ago, which “MySpace” was kinda defunct just years before… Sounds like a good contribution; nice job, y’all… My Rating: 4.3

>>> Sounds like an interestin’, good start, here… And, we get a beat from Austin, here… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it ain’t bad, here… Of course, I feel it; diggin’ tha gangsta-soundin’, dark sound, here… Speakin’ of dark, how about last Wednesday:

Went to tha abandoned graffiti highway up here during tha night and it was dope! Tomorrow night, in honor of my brother’s death anniversary, I’m goin’ to tha abandoned Concrete City; can’t wait! Pre-shootin’ some tribute videoz & gettin’ some photos done! With tha hook, it’s definitely dope, here; good shit! Definitely feelin’ it! However, I’ono what this iz! “100 pounds, I broke it down to 100 zips;” feelin’ it! “Down That Bitch” iz this title? My Rating: 4.2

Tha hook sounds good; of course, gotta keep shit on tha “downlow.” Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2^nd verse, here, as they “eat that thang up fa lunch,” here; chomp, chomp! My Rating: 4.2

06. Mula Pugh “Plottin’ On Ya”

>>> I’ono how much I can feel this one… “It’s retarded, it’s retarded” beat tag, here… Not really feelin’ this voice, that much… At times, I like it but at times, it sounds annoying… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s ehh; tha voice throws me off too much… Don’t recognize this one… “People countin’ on me… They plottin’ on me…” Oh, now I recognize it… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and it’s not bad, as well, now that I know who it iz… Still, a lil’ yada-yada-yada-yada wit this dude… Tha previous song was better, as well as tha voice… A Kevin Gates-sampled outro, here? My Rating: 3.6

>>> Beat’s ehh, here… Just sounds like a regular voice, here, with nothin’ special to offer… Ugh, anotha Mula one, again? Whoeva burned this CD completely didn’t follow tha tracklist and just shoved tha same artists back to back, smh… But yeah, this worse than tha previous song; not feelin’ tha mainstream shit, here… My Rating: 2.2

08. S-8ighty feat. Lil’ Wayne “Halfway (Remix)”
Was almost like, “I know this one; why this mainstream shit on here?” Then again, I remember it soundin’ bounce-y, so I believe it’s New Orleans or somethin’… >>> Ewe!! Let’s pretend I’m deaf in both ears, right now…! Keep it in tha mainstream, not on my underground CDs! Hate how tha 2^nd verse sounds like Drake, at times, even tho it Weezy! Also, clean version; really? My Rating: 1.2

09. Sheppard “Whole Week”

>>> Instant start, here; sounds pretty nice, in a way, on this hook… Not likin’ these instant starts that rewind after a few seconds… Same Sheppard as tha Lil’ Sheppard? I think so… Dude sound like he neva fell off; great to have that motivation! “Smokin’ blunts and poppin’ molly;” crazy dude! Hearin’ tha verse and it’s aight; fuck that stupid “get to tha money” shit that repeats so many times, smh! Couldn’t come up wit somethin’ else there? My Rating: 4.0

½time: Only a 3.6-rated compilation, so far; can be better! A lil’ trashy with tha mainstream-soundin’ bullshit but there’s some nice tracks on here… Let’s see what we have left…

>>> Sounds dope wit that intro in tha streetz; good shit… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s pretty nice; feelin’ tha Rouge shit! “It’s up there!” Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s soundin’ nice ta hear, strictly comin’ through on this faster beat! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and it’s pretty nice, here; lots of rappin’ and a jammin’ beat, ya dig, lol…?! And, tha 3^rd verse’s pretty nice, here; good shit! Rowdy endin’; lots of talkin’ wit tha crazy hook goin’ off… My Rating: 4.1

11. Thug Brothers “Go Tuff”

>>> This sounds like a dope start; dabbin’ in tha beginnin’, here? Expectin’ somethin’ dope, here!! Easily sounds like tha top song on here? Definitely feelin’ tha energy in tha beat and how dem Brothers comin’ through, here! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and you already know, energetic!! Damn, this 48-second intro wit tha rewindin’ again! Damn! Again, 47 seconds later, anotha rewind? I’ono, but all tha rewindin’ kinda blends in nicely wit this vibe! A crazy length of 5:52, here! Oh, finally, we have a full 1^st verse! Love how dude don’t stop on tha 1^st verse; “ran off on tha plug twice!” Damn…! Iz this what tha jiggaz bring, lol? Definitely lovin’ it!! So glad I finally got to see jiggaz!! Can’t deny tha 2^nd verse, ya know? No matter what’s spit, it’s still nice! Funny how I mentioned jiggaz and now, y’all jiggin’! Pretty crazy, once again! And, tha ending, here, soundin’ like tha beginning, still pretty crazy! An ending, here; sounds like samples from a music video or somethin’, lol? Random rippin’? My Rating: 4.4

>>> Here comes a “Run Up, Get Done Up” track; can’t imagine who it iz… Either way, beat’s pretty nice and so iz tha hook… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and dude pretty energetic; a jiggalater at its finest?! This tha 1^st time I’m hearin’ this dude; pretty nice, here! Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2^nd verse, here, still soundin’ energetic; gotta love it! My Rating: 4.3

>>> Feelin’ tha energetic intro, here; can’t wait ta hear! Shit-ton of rhymes on tha 1^st verse, here; definitely feelin’ tha agility!! Now, a Baton Rouge-soundin’ beat? Did it rewind? Guess so… “Bitch, you—bitch, you—bitch, you—bitch, you shouldn’t started nothin’!” Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s pretty dope; insane speed and lyrics!! Hearin’ tha rest and it’s pretty dope, too; gotta luv tha craziness! My Rating: 4.5

14. Boosie Badazz feat. Mista Cain “Big Blue Hundreds”

>>> Can tell it sounds like a Boosie track… Do I sound strange to say that I’m feelin’ this? Not my kinda title/topic but it sounds nice wit this beat and Boosie presence, I guess? I hope people don’t take this shit serious, as far as they have to carry “big blue hundreds!” Oh, here we go wit tha Mista shit on tha 2^nd verse, smh… He did a nice job but how many times we gotta hear him? A Boosie verse on tha 3^rd verse, here, soundin’ pretty nice… Gonna make this a guilty pleasure rating, here… My Rating: 4.2

>>> This one’s five minutes long; here we go… Ain’t expect it to be tha Boosie track wit tha sound of this, but I had a feelin’ it was gon be two Boosie tracks, back to back… I think whoeva did tha back cover fucked this one up; this ain’t no Boosie… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it ain’t bad… Oh, I have tha full ID, here: B Will feat. Boosie Badazz, Shu & J Day “Lil’ Shooter”! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and it’s soundin’ a lil’ betta… Kinda luvin’ how they’re obsessed with this “shooter,” here; ain’t thank y’all fucked wit supportin’ other people! Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse and it’s not bad, here; diggin’ a lil’ more of an aggressive vibe, here… Here comes Boosie at 3:44, comin’ through wit tha pure aggression… My Rating: 3.8

>>> Anotha instant start…; prolly tha other Zeke track? Got La’Keith doin’ this beat; leggo! Got tha “dick out,” here, on tha hook; definitely dope and energetic, here, ya dig? Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s pretty nice, doin’ tha crazy thang, here… I see how tha “dick” iz used as “tha one that go up in tha glock, not tha bitch mouth,” just so y’all know! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and it’s soundin’ nice from Scotty, here; nothin’ much else ta say… Definitely a catchy track, right chea; y’all dope! My Rating: 4.3

Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse and it’s ehh; why am I commentin’ when I keep hearin’ auto-tune, smh? I have to say, this worse than tha S-8ighty track… I was right about tha rating from when I first heard tha first second of it! My Rating: 1.0

Overall: Not too bad, overall… At least there was a good mix of tha Rouge on here… Too bad some shitty mainstream-soundin’ shit had to knock tha average CD rating down…

R.I.P. Video #55: Zoe Realla

Broadcasting from tha West Mountain Sanitarium near Scranton, PA, it's ya boy, FrankieThaLuckyDog here, sadly reportin' anotha tragic loss in tha Louisiana rap community...

Lorenzo Dixon, better known by his stage name, Zoe Realla, was shot multiple times on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at around 2:30 PM at Yo Way Audio, located at 4149 Winbourne Ave. in Baton Rouge, LA. According to authorities, Dixon suffered multiple gunshot wounds while sitting in a vehicle at a parking lot, getting his car cleaned. He was later taken to a local hospital where he was fighting for his life. Sadly, on tha morning of Friday, April 28, 2017, Dixon succumbed to his injuries. Dixon would've turned only 33 years-old on May 31 and leaves behind his girlfriend and his two sons.

Dixon began rappin' as just "Zoe" and started off rappin' with tha likes of Baton Rouge rapper, Big Blaze, as well as fuckin' with Baton Rouge DJ, Big Jay. He was first featured on Big Jay's Pyrex Radio Vol. 5: Back To The Money compilation in 2007 with tha songs, "Dumb Shit (Remix)" featuring Baton Rouge rappers, Big Blaze, Teflon Pit, Racked-Up Ready, B.T. & Young Crucial, as well as "Snitch", featuring Baton Rouge fallen rapper, Nu$$ie. In 2012, he started goin' by his full stage name, "Zoe Realla." According to his manager, D'Mari Harding, of Travis James Entertainment, tha name "Zoe" was a childhood nickname and "Realla" meant that he "always kept it real with his family and friends." Dixon was featured on Baton Rouge DJ, DJ Wookee's Crook III compilation with tha song, "Goodnight (Intro)". In 2013, Dixon signed with Baton Rouge heavyweight, Travis James' Travis James Entertainment and would also release music on his own imprint, Kreature Lyfe Mentality. From 2013 - 2017, Dixon would be featured on more CDs from Baton Rouge's Lee Banks, Big Jay, Ponchatoula's Lil' Cali, Racked-Up Ready, Baton Rouge's Byrd, C-Loc, Brickfare Zeke, Napoleonville's Dirty Harry, Baton Rouge's Mula Pugh, Rambo K Kutta & Squirm G, TBG Gang & Ray Vicks. In 2015, Dixon released his debut EP, Bloody Murda (Promo EP), as well as his 1st full mixtape, Shit Just Got Realla (Hosted by DJ Chill). In 2016, he released his 2nd mixtape, Fuck Yo Mixtape Vol. 1: Spare None (Hosted by DJ Smallz).

Tha moment I’ve been waitin’ for… I know I been doin’ my old, Louisiana CD reviewz, but I’m takin’ a quick intermission from that, despite doin’ one this morning! I feel like this gon be tha most-anticipated, greatest CD review of 2017! Tha best CD!! Surprisingly, even tho I haven’t posted many Instagram things in a while, I just so happened to find this CD droppin’ on February 1, so I took notice! I just hope dude peeps out tha review and appreciates what I do for him ‘cause this generation’s rappers, it’s all about ignoring/bein’ “too busy” ‘cause of so many followers on Instagram, smh. I first discovered dude on November 15, 2016, DJ B-Real’s birthday, on tha TBG Gang’s Join Da Gang (Deluxe Edition) CD, which was a critically-acclaimed CD! Now, it’s his own CD and I can’t wait to hear it!! My new favorite dude of 2017? Da Real Gee Money, hailin’ from Baton Rouge, G-Code (Hosted by DJ Young Shawn), released on TBG Records!! To add to tha anticipation, as well as a stressful work day gettin’ in my way, this gon be tha 1^st rap CD I gon review off of edibles! Should be real exciting, exactly an hour later!! Gee Money takin’ ova fa tha 2K17! Also, around this time four years ago, on February 6, I reviewed my favorite CD of 2013: DJ B-Real’s Pay Da Producer Vol. 1! My bad, I’m slowly trippin’ off what one of my chicks said, earlier: “Tha big ball guy was on, last night!!,” and, “Wait till you see these big balls we got!!” Like, whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!??!?!?! Dyin’ laughin’!! Now, can’t wait ta finally hear this, after I see that there’s a music video to it!! >>> DJ Swift doin’ tha beat, here; feels great/different/weird/awesome to be reviewin’ a current Baton Rouge CD, right now?! Likin’ how tha beat sounds fa this southern 2K17, ya dig? Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse and it’s soundin’ consistent wit what you bringin’ to tha table, here! Definitely soundin’ like a future king—wait, I think you are on, now!! Lots of rhymes here, or iz time goin’ so slow? Hearin’ tha hook and…, uh…, I have to be 50/50 on it… Not diggin’ tha auto-tune, nor tha “bands” shit; I’ont fuck wit that shit! Other than that, tha vibe’s tha only thing I like; ain’t that, like, a 20/80? Ouch! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and it’s soundin’ consistent wit what you continuously bringin’ to tha table, here! Gotta luv when you “on dem tabs,” as well as your fast ridin’! Neva woulda imagined some1 like you would have that hidden inside you; dope! Oh yeah!! Here’s what I had to say about this one, back last November:

““What up, B-Real?” Gotta feel tha shout out, here, and tha beat’s pretty pure! Gangsta, Baton Rouge shit at its finest! Tha hook’s pretty serious; definitely feelin’ tha catchy, bouncin’ vibe of this gangsta shit!! Shit’s definitely excellent!! Can’t deny this music, no doubt!! Tha 1^st verse’s pretty jammin’, but pretty serious, as Gee Money holdin’ shit down!! Tha 2^nd verse pretty nice; definitely good, consistent, jammin’-type shit! It’s all about tha best music, goin’ down in history!!” My Current Rating: 4.8

Looks like it gon be a dope collab! Lol, Mula Pugh in tha buildin’!! >>> Austin Rashaad on tha track, here! Surprised to hear this soundin’ like a newer version of Dae Dae’s “Wat U Mean” (tha beginning)! I’ono if tha auto-tune gon scare me away, here…? Wanna give it a chance…! I really like how you sound on tha 1^st verse and hook, here! Definitely sounded dope to pass tha test wit me! And, you keepin’ it goin’ on tha 2^nd verse, here (2^nd, right? That wasn’t a whole minute of a hook, right? Lol…), soundin’ consistent! I hate to say that you’re, like, a younger Future—I don’t like referrin’ him… But, if I had to say that’s what it sounded like, it sounded like that! Diggin’ tha part, “Sometimes, I’m in anotha world, betta leave me ‘lone;” feel like that, now!! And, we got Mula on tha 2^nd verse, soundin’ good; feelin’ his southern style, of course… Ain’t get ta hear him as much as I should (nothin’ sent?), but still, lemme appreciate this… Gotta luv all those high moments durin’ that verse, too! Gotta luv tha anthemic hook!!! Way more positive than negative, here!! My Rating: 4.7

05. “Ain’t Really ‘Bout It” feat. Aramis

I feel like this one gon be pretty tight and excitin’; let’s get it!! >>> Anotha Austin track! It’s crazy to believe that when I first heard of Austin eight years ago, I always thought he’d just be a hidden secret that connected wit me. However, he gettin’ out there, still and more! Gotta luv it, here! Tha hook definitely nice and official! “We keep it 1000!” It’s almost like you’re a newer version of Percy Keith, but in a mixed-breed way! Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse and it’s soundin’ great, doin’ tha southern thang! We got Aramis on tha 2^nd verse and yeah, props to tha “blunt burnin’;” continuous, 225-type shit, here! My Rating: 4.5

A “skit,” huh? Lol! I’m ready! Bring it!! >>> I have to say, it sounds like an excellent intro!! Luv that faster-soundin’ BR beat!!! Funny that that phone call was all about dat bullshit manipulatin’—“lyin’!!” Argh!!! My Rating: N/A

07. “There For Me” feat. Deezy

I’ono what to expect… If you got one song that’s dedicated to some1, about tha struggle, etc., you betta bring it and have a trippy, melodic vibe to it! Here we go…!! >>> Tha producer “retarded,” here; “Neil On Da Track?” Could it be? This sounds much betta, here, even tho it semi-cheesy wit tha hook? Kinda sounds like a Fetty Wap-type song or somethin’; that’s what it reminds me of… But, a catchy hook, here! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse from you and it sound like you vibin’/enjoyin’ this shit! You definitely tha best out now!! Wasn’t sure what to expect wit Deezy on tha feature, here… Tha voice came outta nowhere, so it kinda threw me off track… Even tho it kinda ehh…, it flows nicely. Still, a lil’ weird-soundin’ fa me… My Rating: 4.3

Lovin’ tha title! Can’t wait ta hear it!! Lemme hear this!! >>> Fuck!! It’s a B-Real beat!! Shit definitely sounds fuckin’ pure on tha beat!! Definitely anthemic on tha hook, here!! It’s all about this crazy-ass “section!!” Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s pretty serious, here! You really holdin’ tha streetz down wit this B-Real-produced track, right chea!! Can’t wait to meet you, Gee Money & B-Real, possibly next month?! Tha following month?! Starstruck!! Excellent job wit tha 1^st verse and holdin’ this shit down to tha fullest!! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and it’s pretty dope, too! You definitely spittin’ some real shit fa us—well, y’all—southern celebrities! I’m proud to be a celebrity, too, ya know what I’m sayin’? ½time: I think this a really pure CD, right chea!! Perfect material fa Baton Rouge ta enjoy and I really hope you blow up, my dude!! Just don’t sell out, tho! Tha production on this CD’s pure as fuck, like colorful crystals! A 4.6 iz what I’m ratin’ it, so far, with tha potential to be a five-star-rated CD, if I rate each song at least a 4.0!! Keep it up!!

Oooooh! Ooooooh!! Ooooooooooooooooooh!!! Luv highs!!! Love how it was before tha ½time, tha last time! Now, it’s right after it! Lol!! Fuckin’ trippy!! Peep out tha review I did for it:

Spitta soundin’ pretty serious on tha 2^nd verse, comin’ through like a giant!! Tha 3^rd verse’s soundin’ pretty good ta contribute ta this shit, too! Great job, y’all! Really different, pure-soundin’ voice ‘cause of this content? Great job wit tha hook, here, even tho that wasn’t you, lol! What tha hell made me think it was you on tha 1^st verse/hook? Crazy! Trippyness!! Hearin’ you on tha 2^nd verse and it’s pretty nice wit how you come through wit it! You strictly layin’ it down like a supastar!
