Broadcasting from tha Abandoned Pennsylvania Turnpike, here in Wells Tannery, PA, it's ya boy, FrankieThaLuckyDog here, sadly reportin' anotha tragic loss in tha Louisiana rap community (special edition).

Today, April 18, 2018, marks 24 years since tha murder of Edgar Givens, known in tha undaground, Louisiana rap scene as Pimp Daddy. Givens was born in 1976 and was from New Orleans. An early artist signed with Cash Money Records, Givens released his debut album, Still Pimpin', in 1993. Lookin' like he had a bright future ahead of him, unfortunately, tha good times were short-lived for Givens. In tha Florida projects in New Orleans on April 18, 1994, Givens was fatally shot and killed at point-blank range. Many believe a musical love triangle resulted in Givens' death; Rodney Temple was charged with life in murdering Givens. During his Cash Money time, Givens was said to be dating labelmate, Ms. Tee. However, another labelmate, Cheeky Blakk, claimed that Givens was tha father of her child. Needless to say, Givens was in an argument with Ms. Tee's brother. That's when Givens was shot in tha face and killed at only 18 years-old. One year after his death, Givens' 2nd album, Pimp'n Ain't E-Z, was released in 1995.

I'm back! Ya favorite reviewer, FrankieThaLuckyDog! Now, here's tha 3rd review I'm doin' today! Tha title gives me HUGE anticipation, as well as tha theme! PxMxWx "Legalize "Pass Tha Weed""! Start Time: 3:46 PM | End Time: 5:08 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. How we gon start this REALLY ANTICIPATING CD off??? At first, I thought there were a few songs on here, but there's 15!! >>> LOL @ tha intro! You KNOW I had a REAL GOOD chance of tha intro havin' ta do wit weed, lol! GREAT intro!! My Rating: N/A


02. "Still Smokin'"
"Still smokin'"? How about "start smokin'" 'cause it's tha beginning of tha CD, lol? Well, wit 4:55 on tha length, I'm REAL curious to see what y'all put down on tha table wit this "smokin'" shit!! >>> LOL, there had to be a cheesy hook... Oh wait, that was just a start; then that's okay. LOL @ that though wit tha "I luv weed, you luv weed..." intro. Tha "Paid In Full" BPM type of style in tha beat again, lol! LOL @ "hey diddle, diddle, wit tha weed in tha middle!" LOL @ tha 1st verse, as it held it down. Tha hook iz your typical, repetitive hook that gets a plus automatically. Tha 2nd verse iz more into tha weed here wit tha "that fiya weed, that fiya weed," and tha "bounce fa tha weed, biggity--bounce fa tha weed." LOL @ all tha samplin' songs wit tha lyrics wit weed lyrics! Tha 2nd verse was much betta than tha 1st verse, and now, will there be a 3rd verse? Sounds like a bunch of repetitive "pass that weed to *insert ward*" lyrics. That part was nice fa a breakdown, although it's so consistent! LOL @ "a friend wit weed iz a friend indeed;" friendly, huh, lol? LOL... I'm "LOL'in" so much, lol! Yea, fuck err-body that wanna fuckin' take tha weed away!! My Rating: 4.3


03. "Yes Yes My Nigga"
Looks like a good title; lookin' forward! >>> Great start (of course)! Way too repetitive fa me to comment on anything really... Tha way tha lyrics are said are like some of that B-32 or some of tha shit I previously reviewed. A lot went on, even though it created an anthem. Not much to say... My Rating: 3.7


04. "Splift Out 2 (Dipped N Honey)"
Ooh, a good title fa this CD! Lemme peep this joint out... >>> Good job wit tha "weed" lyrics goin' on here; very consistent! Still has that typical flow type of B-32 type music. Good shit right chea, although tha repetitiveness kinda gets to me a lil', but not as much as tha previous song! Nice to have a DJ Endo, lol. My Rating: 4.0


05. "Alphabet Bitches"
LOL @ tha title... What to say...? >>> Interesting hook, lol. Good female song, and LOL @ tha "'H' iz fa 'Helen'," and tha "hicky" part, lol. All tha rest of tha lyrics were great, and tha sex scene at tha end iz great too! Luv tha gurl sayin' "fuck me! Fuck me! Harder...! Harder!! Ooh, I'm 'bout ta cum!" My Rating: 4.1


06. "I Feel Like Bangin' A Nigga" Feat. Big Heavy
I thought it was gonna be on tha last song's shit (like "bangin' a bitch"), but to a dude? I guess you gon pop someone... >>> LOL @ just hearin' tha hook... Nice beat to it too! Yea, this about poppin' someone. Tha 1st verse was enjoyable, and it sounds like tha 2nd verse iz 'bout ta be too! Good job on tha 2nd verse. This iz gettin' more interesting wit tha 3rd verse dude wit tha "powder" part, and tha "trigga--de trigga--de trigga" part! Tha typical B-32 ending wit all tha wards: "*insert ward* gon bang me a nigga." Good song right chea. My Rating: 4.1


07. Word From Tha President
What could "tha president" from back then say? Some shit about dissin' weed? Lemme hear! >>> Ooh, a much betta/spooky beat! Oh, it's just tha president of Cash Money Records; phew. That sux that "they banned PxMxWx 'cause of 'Splift Out 2'?" You know how tha radio be... I didn't know this was just a skit. Thumbs up to tha dude "rollin' 'em up hard in tha cornfield" up in Kansas (according to what tha 2nd dude's speakin' right now). Likin' tha "roll tha weed, lay back" part at around 4:03. Nice lil' skit, although real long; it all good though 'cause it like a "weed break" in your case. My Rating: N/A


½time: Pretty good CD, although a lot of parts are very B-32ish and repetitive wit tha lyrics (just repeating; I don't mind tha weed topics). Hope some of tha upcoming songs get real betta fa me!


08. "Mo Bounce"
Good title, and I WANT "mo Bounce" music!! >>> Here comes that flowin' again! Good job fa really bringin' "mo Bounce!" Okay wit tha lyrics on tha 1st verse, but let's see tha 2nd verse now... Okay, although it's not that interesting fa me. I'ma keep listenin' though 'cause it at least stays consistent. SO MUCH "Bounce" in this shit, lol! Not bad Bounce song fa me, although nothin' really to comment... My Rating: 3.9


09. "Real Niggaz Do Die"
That's OFFICIALLY 100% true wit tha title (R.I.P. VL Mike, Sporty-T, Nu$$ie, and ANYONE ELSE from Louisiana)! I wanna hear how y'all explain it! >>> Okay, it sounds like a pretty good start. Good job on tha 1st verse, and tha "kill 'em I say, kill 'em I say, kill 'em I say, kill 'em I say, boom! Boom!" part repeated in tha hook iz REAL TIGHT!! LUV THA FASTNESS!!! Tha 2nd verse iz true, especially wit "not havin' just your NWA, but havin' yo balls and yo AK." Oh, I JUST LUV THAT HOOK!!! See, when makin'a REAL SONG like this, at least tha hook iz REAL catchy to make y'all listen!! Good job on tha 3rd verse too; THAT HOOK!!! Oh, so Lil' Slim was a part of this (yet, a part of PxMxWx)? No wonder, I heard his rendition of "ya heard me" at tha end ("ya hoid me"), lol. My Rating: 4.5


10. "Boot Up Nigga"
Y'all keepin' tha GREAT, undaground titles comin' along!! >>> Rough intro wit tha shit goin' on... LOL @ tha typical, fast "dun-dun-dun-dun, dun-dun-dun-dun..." in tha beat! Interesting hook goin' on here. Good job on tha 2nd verse, and now, if that's tha 3rd verse, tha repetitiveness iz comin' back. I won't hate on it, but I can't really comment on it. Interesting 3rd verse (yeah, tha real 3rd verse; that otha shit was just a bridge) contains sum interesting lyrics wit tha "shooting" and shit like that. Tha song ended kinda fast, but not bad. My Rating: 3.8


11. "Roshambeau" Feat. Big Daddy
What's that title? >>> LOL, it's a place. LOL @ tha singin' on tha hook (like tha intro). Not bad start; tha "pair of girbauds" part came outta nowhere, and sounded good. Tha beat iz kinda boring me now, and it looks like I'm losin' interest in this shit. LOL @ tha background guy singin' "stupid muthafucka." My Rating: 3.2


12. "Splift Out"
How come tha 1st version (based off tha title since tha 2nd one has a "2" in its title) iz all tha way down here? Fa 5:48 on tha length, I hope to expect good! >>> Here comes that B-32 type flow again, lol. This time, it's that type of "Way Of Life" beat that Lil' Wayne sampled. Great "spliff" lyrics goin' on here. Tha hook iz catchy here wit tha "splift out nigga." Pretty good song, so I'll give it a thumbs up. Up, a "bounce fa tha *insert ward*" series of ward shout outs goin' on here. I feel like this iz gettin' kinda long. I like tha line "and tell tha white man, 'kiss my dick';" defendin' tha "spliff smokin'" right chea, and I feel you on that. Slowly startin' to get betta, and no less when I said that, a "smoke it, baby, light it..." and "do it, baby, stick it..." parts came up, as well as a few othaz! Luvin' tha ending wit tha Big Man at tha end; luv tha sniffin' and coughin' of tha weed! Yea, I agree: "More lightin', less fightin'." Great ending, which made me like tha song more. My Rating: 3.9


13. "Trick Daddy"
LOL @ this title, which later, became a rapper's name, lol. >>> Shit, tha beat iz too soulful this time. Tha otha one was a lil' slow and had some soul in it, but this one's too much. I like tha interesting "dope" lyrics wit tha "sellin'" and shit goin' on. Good job on tha 1st verse though. Tha 2nd verse went by a lil' quick, but was pretty good I guess. Tha 3rd verse sounds like it's on point, so good job. Still, not feelin' that beat fa an album topic like tha one y'all have. My Rating: 3.4


14. "Big Man"
Here comes tha Big Man dude as tha title, lol. A long one again (5:48 on tha length). Iz it anotha skit or song? >>> It's a song, yet it has that B-32/"dunn x4, dunn x4" pattern to it again, lol! LOL @ "we don't want nothin' but tha cum a lil' faster!" Sounds like some good flowin' this time on a track like this. I like tha "ride tha dick a lil' deeper, BIATCH!!!" part, lol! Sounds pretty consistent; good shit this time. Wit it sayin' "ya heard me" 4x around tha 3:25 part somewhere, it made it catchy. Tha shit goin' on right at 4:57 iz CRAZY wit that "crack" part or whateva's goin' on!! My Rating: 4.0


15. X-It Out
Looks like your name wit tha 3 X's. Should be a good ending song... lemme find out! >>> I can hear tha weed smokin' in this; nice choking, lol! Well, after :58 into this, there's no rappin', so this ain't a song. Still, this sounds like a GREAT skit; FUCKIN' LUV THA CHOKING!!!!!!!!!! Tha ending of this was good, and thanx fa all tha "Louisiana area shout outs!!" My Rating: N/A


Overall: Well, great CD, although wit tha title of it, I thought there was gonna be A LOT MO weed smokin' songs. There were a good amount, but they didn't catch me enough to obsessively luv 'em 'cause when I hear weed songs, I instantly fall in luv wit 'em, ya dig. Either way, I wanna keep hearin' from y'all, so keep up tha gr8 work!

With an anticipating imagination, what can I expect fa tha intro? >>> Sounds like random samplin'... Tha "bounce--biggity--bounce..." part tells me that this gon be wit Bounce style? Good intro, yet it gets me anticipated! My Rating: N/A


02. "Bounce Slide Ride"
So this iz what tha intro was introducing me into, lol. Looks like I'll be anticipated to hear it! >>> Your "biiiiiiiitch" parts remind me of DJ Jimi... Sounds like good rappin' wit a long 1st verse... Oh, I think it just went into tha hook 'cause I heard tha title? Good shit still. I like tha real fast rappin'. A lot goin' on here... I like how you want "girbaud jeans" in tha 2nd verse. Nice wit tha repeatin' shit 'cause sometimes, I can't catch everything at first, so hearin' it multiple times helps. LOL @ tha "3rd ward dick/10th ward pussy;" different warded sexual actions, lol! I get tired of whateva that "ba-da-da-da-dah" sample iz throughout some of tha beat, but more during tha ending. Still, this was a great song right chea. Ewe, it ended wit tha "ba-da-da-da-dah..." My Rating: 4.1

Ooh, look at tha length goin' on here!!! Almost a 6 minute song wit a NICE title and 2 featured people, so you KNOW I wanna hear this one!! >>> LOL, B-32 iz tha 1st dude on this shit, and he sounds GREAT on this shit! I like this beat betta than tha previous beat! I like all tha different wards and places wit tha "shoot 'em up" parts. I guess all tha shit repeatin' makes tha length long, and B-32 did his thang wit this shit. Now, MC Heavy wants ta spit some shit... All tha "car jackin' and kidnappin'" iz pretty bad, but people don't wanna stop. Now, B-32 & MC Heavy combining here wit tha "car jackin'/kidnappin'!" Great shit all tha way through. Although people wanna try and "change tha world" (like my latest song), tha title explains it all. My Rating: 4.2

He doin' his thang, as usual! Tha verse collaborated, and tha shit sounded nice. Sounds like Yella iz at tha end. LOL @ his "pussy smellin'" part; good shit right chea, and NICE collaboration! Anotha collaboration!! This time, wit PxMxWx (which I'm gonna hear them fa tha 1st time)! I'm lookin' forward to their shit that I have (which I think their 1st tape I have in my marathon iz called "Legalize "Pass Tha Weed""! Now, let's hear this (looks like an anthem)! >>> A similar type fast beat here... LOL @ tha hook. There's not much of an attitude in it, but it definitely sounded catchy. Fa'got ta mention: Tha 1st verse/intro part was good too. Tha next 2 verses (tha verses are real quick on this song) were GREAT fa this too! Ooh, "'bout to smoke a fast..." on this shit! Now, time to hear PxMxWx!!! Nice short part from tha one dude from PxMxWx (or iz PxMxWx one dude? EDIT: It iz one dude. Shit, I thought it was a few dudes)! Cool "ya heard me. This should be anotha good one!! >>> Definitely feelin' tha beat here, and it starts wit B-32 this time! He DEFINITELY doin' his thang on this shit; nice job! Feelin' tha typical drug life lyrics from him at all times!! I don't know why they ID'd it as "Cold In The Game" (whoeva I got this from online), but it sounds like this iz tha title track ("The Game Is Cold"). Likin' tha "nigga--ni--niggigty--nigga" parts a WHOLE LOT towards tha 2nd 1/2 of tha 3 minute mark!!! My Rating: 4.4

Overall: Tha review lasted an exact hour. Although there weren't that many songs, it was DEFINITELY a nice tape! Slim, you a GREAT rapper, and I hope you're still around!! Thanx fa puttin' this HOT tape together 'cause you did yo thang, no less bringin' a bunch of featured artists on tracks! If you still alive, keep doin' yo thang!
