Review #1,996: DJ Tremon "Trippy Tuesday"

Reviewed on 6.08.2021 (Review #1,996)

As I’m two dayz early with slowly reachin’ my goal, I decided to shift back from tha 2000’s to tha recent/those from years ago. Specifically, I’m talkin’ ‘bout my boy, DJ Tremon & his Trippy Tuesday compilations, courtesy of M.O.B. Entertainment! This release iz from 2015 & I see there’s a bunch of throwback/non-Louisiana shit on here. I’m not 100% sure how I gon feel on each one; we’ll see. Also, if I already reviewed a track in tha past, I’ll just put tha current rating for each. Without further or do, let’s see how great this under-tha-influence-type of compilation gon be…! Start Tyme: 7:13 PM | End Tyme: 8:02 PM

Disclaimer:
I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

© 2021 Review (Review #1,996) reviewed on 6.08.2021 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Samuel Maurice feat. Young B “Come & Smoke With Me”
>>> Props fa tha “4:20 AM”! As far as this, I ain’t think this was a slow jam; I understand fa 4/20 but to kick off tha set with this slow jam iz a no-no fa me… At least there’s life brought to it with Mr. Young B with tha good, laidback, summer-like feelin’… Still, Samuel doesn’t equal Jodeci! My Rating: 1.6

02. Foxx “Smokin’ Loud”
My Current Rating: 4.4

03. Juicy J “Smoked Out, Dabbed Out”
>>> Thought this was gon be a lot older, like a 2000 throwback or somethin’. Hearin’ this & it sounds like today’s boring flow… Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds good with tha screwed voice; only way ta get high, basically? Likin’ how he “on a dab!” Good-goin’ with how he comes through fa tha rest of this; not too bad, overall. My Rating: 3.4

04. Lil’ Boosie “For My Thugs”
I only had just reviewed Boosie’s Youngest Of Da Camp, earlier last week. Barely have dived into Boosie’s catalog, since I only made it to tha year 2000 with my old-school reviewz… >>> Gotta feel tha throwback Louisiana sound fa tha Rouge! Great lil’ production & this hook from one of tha greatest! All about celebratin’ & counteractin’ bad vibes! Hearin’ Boosie on tha 1st verse & he sounds excellent ta hold it down fa tha hood, of course; good shit, to tha max! Tha 2nd verse sounds good with how Boosie just owns every situation; good shit…! My Rating: 4.4

05. Mystikal “I Smell Smoke”
>>> Definitely feelin’ his throwback, N’awlinz appearance, here; all about tha “smoke” & tha aggressive flow/voice! Like how he says, “AM turns to PM”; I wish I can make tyme go quick, today, while I’m still tryna find a full-tyme… My Rating: 4.2

06. Colonel Loud feat. Young Dolph & Rico Barrino “California”
I remember this, when I heard it & had it in rotation, back in 2015; Dunkin’, Dunkin’, Dunkin’. Also, it was these tymes, where DJ B Real had me blocked & I slightly had went a lil’ mainstream with my tastes, at tymes. Anyway, feels like I haven’t heard this in a long while; I think I really liked this, att (at tha tyme), due to tha shomkin’ theme & Young Dolph. Always appreciate tha sunny-soundin’ vibes in this, includin’ tha appreciation fa Cali…! My Current Rating: 4.0

07. Lil’ Phat feat. Mouse “Take A Puff”
Only Phat outta tha three of ‘em? *Re-Hears…* Naw, y’all missin’ Mouse on tha feature! Shell woulda been here if only his verse was here… My Current Rating: 4.9

08. Juicy J feat. Rae Sremmurd “Already”
>>> Sounds like whateva when Swae Lee comes through, on tha hook; not really any comment fa this mainstreamness… Hearin’ Juicy come through & this flow’s a lil’ betta than his previous joint on here… My Rating: 3.0

09. Young B feat. Dino Danja, Jaye London, Lil’ Scottie & Dae~Dae “Bars N My Fanta”
My Current Rating: 4.7

10. Dylan Cage feat. Jimi Jump & Jose Guapo “In My System”
>>> Luvin’ how Dylan comin’ through with everythang “in [his] system,” just embracin’ shit; definitely nice, with a decent beat… Hearin’ Dylan on tha 1st verse & it’s cool; diggin’ his consistent street content fa this fucked-up “system.” Also, luvin’ how on tha 2nd hook, Jimi Jump comes through as an ‘80s baby in his 30’s with tha unstoppable “system”; huh bruh…! Always luv his voice on tha mic & tha great vibe of Baton Rouge he brings to tha table; always welcome ta hold it down, Jimi! Ain’t Jose Guapo one of those random rappers from 2015? I remember tha name & thought this collab threw me off with him bein’ featured… Anyway, I (sarcastically) luv how he comes through with these rhymes like he a millionaire; still, a lil’ entertainin’ but I want an all-Louisiana collab! My Rating: 4.3

11. Beatking “Powder”
>>> Beat a lil’ typical-soundin’ with this trap sound; hook sounds a lil’ random with random words bein’ spit… Hearin’ tha 1st verse & it sounds okay, I guess…; I like that “kushijuana” combined word, tho! Tha rest of this shit ain’t bad; basically, it’s just rappin’. My Rating: 3.2

12. Wiz Khalifa “Never Been”
>>> Likin’ tha intro from you & DJ Scrap, Tremon; nice shit! Of course, Wiz big about tha shmokin’ & this sounds like a good addition fa this Trippy Tuesdayness. Hearin’ tha hook & it’s like, fuck tha “bankroll” shit; rather it’ve just been nothin’ but high references…! My Rating: 3.7

13. Hey Daem feat. Spitta “Need To Smoke”
>>> Hearin’ that Daem dude on tha 1st verse & iz this a lotta improvement? Remembered how awful he was, back in tha early 2010’s, with watered-down a-tune. Now, he sounds tougher on here but still struggles with a-tune addiction, at tymes, such as on this track. I think I talked too soon about what I was sayin’ with tha 1st verse ‘cause it spilled into tha hook, smfh! Yucky-soundin’ hook! Hearin’ Spitta’s contribution & at least he’s 100% organic with his voice/everythang! Keep spittin’, Spitta! My Rating: 2.2

½tyme: A 3.7-rated release, currently; mainly, most of tha tracks are good/decent, while there are excellent throwbacks & some shitty tracks.

14. Dae~Dae & Dino Danja “The Highway”
My Current Rating: 4.8

15. Juicy J feat. K Camp “One More Drink”
>>> Oh yeah, I remember this; didn’t recognize it, at first; Music Choice Rap… K Camp does a catchy job with tha hook to get a “lil’ bit” fucked up, ya feel me? Also, a good lil’ flow from Juicy, as well; 2015 was definitely a loaded year! This mixtape was released on my late brother’s final birthday; he died 12 dayz later from morphine, xanz & heroin, smh. My Current Rating: 4.1

16. M-16 “Cupps Up”
Producer: EQ Tha Misfit
>>> S/O to EQ Tha Misfit on tha beat; gotta luv tha club vibe! Sounds like a good lil’ hook; all about tha clubs! Hearin’ tha 1st verse & dude got tha energy on lock; props fa keepin’ it movin’ fa Tremon, here! Tha rest of this shit pretty focused & fulla energy; good shit, my dude! My Rating: 4.3

17. Dae~Dae “Get Lifted”
>>> A slower vibe fa Dae, here… Hearin’ him on tha 1st verse & it’s cool with his choice ta 365-like “Get Lifted”; huh bruh…! “I’m loaded, like, 24/7”; glad dude luv tha shmoke! Tha hook sappy with tha singin’ but with this hook, it gets tha props ‘cause tha only lyrics are “high…; get lifted”; that’s all you need! Luv how Dae comes through on tha 2nd verse with tha “you shmokin’ doo-doo” & shit, dude definitely official! Glad I got ta shmoke wit him tha night I met you, on October 13, 2017! Nice lil’ outro from Tremon, as well, takin’ it to “Airline.” My Rating: 4.2

18. Famous “This Blunt”
>>> Dude definitely focused fa “This Blunt”!! Gotta luv how focused & energetic he iz on this hook!! Beat ain’t too bad ta rap on; a lil’ simple but it’s dope with Famous on it! Hearin’ tha 1st verse from Famous & he got cool energy; glad he luv to get high!! Tha 2nd verse cool with how he continues this shmoke obsession; good shit! My Rating: 4.5

19. Luniz feat. E-40, Shock G, Richie Richie, Spice 1 & Dru Down “I Got 5 On It (Bay Ballers Remix)”
Not only iz tha file removed, due to it bein’ a mainstream song but I can’t play any bit of it. Wait a second, tho; there’s more mainstream tracks on here. Like, why did this & a few others choose to get removed, instead, due to their copyright bullshit? Anyway, I prolly have heard tha remix b4 but for tha most part, this an okay song; more recognized for tha beat, tho. My Current Rating: 3.1

20. Young B “Where The Tabs At”
My Current Rating: 4.6

21. Z-Ro feat. Lil’ O “I Can’t Leave Drank Alone”
Anotha one removed but I found a way to sample it… >>> Lmao @ tha old beat tag from that “My Dougie” producer. Hearin’ tha hook & luv how Z-Ro real focused with tha “drank” & all that. Hearin’ him on tha 1st verse & I’m real glad throughout all these decades, he still can get fucked up like it’s nothin’. Really luv how he comes through on his verse, includin’ how he “po’d up with DJ Screw fa [his] 22nd birthday,” especially that it was on “Monday” & that he “didn’t wake up till Thursday”; crazy! As far as Lil’ O, hadn’t heard him since 2006 when him & George Floyd’s group, tha S.U.C., was on my playlist with undaground tracks. As far as his verse, it aight; who needs tha “money in my pocket” line, tho… My Rating: 4.4

22. Big Moe “Bar Baby”
From one S.U.C. dude to tha next…! >>> Sounds like a nice lil’ throwback, slow-soundin’ beat fa Big Moe, here; catchy lil’ hook, too. Hearin’ what he got on tha verse & it sounds great/more loaded on tha mic than Z-Ro; too bad his addiction caught up with him. My Rating: 3.5

23. DJ Tremon “WMOB Commercial Break”
>>> Sounds nice; I still haven’t experienced a high through “lean,” yet; we’ll see when that’ll be… My Rating: N/A

24. Dedrick Jamal feat. Hey Daem “Slow Motion”
>>> Cool lil’ beginning; luv when tha BPMs are double tha speed than tha norm, on tha hook! Hearin’ tha 1st verse & it ain’t bad from Dedrick, here; sounds like a typical flow with nothin’ really standin’ out, except that double BPM part in tha beat. Hearin’ tha 2nd verse & it’s aight; feelin’ how Daem comin’ through on tha double BPM’d part of tha beat! My Rating: 3.6

25. Webbie “Laid Way Back”
Producer: Mouse
Webbie’s Savage Life was tha 1st Louisiana rap album I eva purchased, back on July 6, 2005. I wasn’t even reviewin’ at tha tyme but supported certain artists, at tha tyme. I rememba this one & I rememba how consistent that release was; I was like, “There’s somethin’ special about how consistent all these tracks are…!” Lil’ did I know, it was tha heart of tha Jigga City & Mouse on tha tracks! With this track, you gotta luv tha catchiness of Webbie’s luv fa “high dro” & Mouse’s dope-ass beat sounds! Of course, tha rhymes sound awesome on some of Mouse’s best beats! My Current Rating: 4.4

26. Slim Thug feat. Muggs & Kevin Gates “What You Mean To Me”
>>> An okay slow beat; sounds decent with Slim Thug’s 2015 flow, here; an okay 1st verse but at least he on tha “weed” tip, here… Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds like an attempt at Gates bein’ catchy but it’s just a sappy-soundin’, slow-soundin’ hook… Hearin’ tha Muggs dude on tha 2nd verse & he str8; I like how he focused fa tha “weed,” in tha end. Even room fa Gates ta have a 3rd verse, here…; glad he ain’t singin’. His 2015 rappin’ decent but I’m glad it earned success wit me, thanx to tracks like “I Don’t Get Tired” & his collab with Chedda Da Connect. My Rating: 3.3

27. Symore Banks “2 Good 2 Quited”
>>> Lol, ain’t no what to expect, here, except I had thought tha title looked like Sauce Walka’s; now, I know why. I’ono about this chick jackin’ tha Sauce beat but I guess it’s good fa tha “pussy.” But Tremon, I’ono if I would consider it a “drug,” yet, tha “strongest” one… Hearin’ what she comin’ through on tha verse & she sounds like a lesbian? Into tha “clit,” here? Sounds interestin’, even tho it ain’t that great of a track fa me… My Rating: 2.1

Overall: I wonder how Trippy Tuesday 2 gon go, when I review it? I’m glad I got tha chance ta review this one b4 my 2,000th review mark. With that bein’ said, keep tha Trippy Tuesday up; it’ll get betta!

Rankings:

Review #1,808: DJ Tremon "Hottest In The City"

Reviewed on 8.14.2019 (Review #1,808)

Wanna send a special Happy 34th Birthday to my boy, DJ Tremon! He been holdin’ tha city of BR down to tha fullest! I neva got ta review his compilations so I’m decidin’ to review ‘em now, on his birthday. Only thing iz, since last October, I’ve been havin’ lower back problems & at this point, I’ve been feelin’ crippled, smh. I’m gonna try and see what’s up on Saturday, finally; for now, here goes my review for his 2016 mixtape, Hottest In The City, courtesy of M.O.B. Entertainment! Start Time: 9:00 AM | End Time: 10:10 AM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! © 2019 CD Review (Review #1,808) reviewed on 8.14.2019 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Byrd “Right Now”
Not 100% sure if I know any of these tracks (prolly not a bunch of ‘em) so tha reviewz gon just be str8-up neva-heard-b4 reviewz. >>> Good intro from you and Q-Red on tha production. Hook sounds like a good hook, despite Byrd kinda bein’ too busy/uninterested to link up wit me, durin’ one of my Boot trips. Good lil’ verse; definitely sounds nice wit tha mixtape appearance. My Rating: 4.0

02. Spitta “Dave Chapelle”
>>> Lol @ tha laughin’ wit “bein’ broke” and “we just laugh together;” feelin’ that laughter. Good 1st verse; I like tha end of it with tha “I got my turn signal on; I’m turnt, fa real!” Tha 2nd verse pretty nice, too; good job, Spit. My Rating: 4.2

03. Jaye London “Cut The Lights On”
>>> Lots of strong bass in tha beginning/hook! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and yeah, tha title was like a “Handy” one, as he just said. Good energy on this track; tha 2nd verse keeps it goin’, as well. I would hold off on tha “daughter;” gotta take care of yaself, just like me! Too many poppin’ kidz, these dayz! Frfr! My Rating: 4.3

04. Symore Banks “Dope”
>>> Not sure if I’ll feel a female on this mixtape; let’s see… Anotha strong bass track. Hearin’ tha 1st verse and I’m not that crazy about these vocals or repetitive “girl”-endin’ lines. Got worse at :41 with tha auto-tune part; ick! Good for your mixtapes & club mixes, Tremon, but more on tha icky side fa me. My Rating: 2.3

05. WNC Whop Bezzy “Too Much”
>>> Kinda cocky lyrics on tha hook; not into tha money braggin’. Almost a minute in and it’s still tha hook? Not feelin’ these auto-tuned vocals, durin’ tha verse; too much tryna sell out? Why err-body gotta sound like mumble/Future shit? My Rating: 1.7

06. Grasa feat. Blac Youngsta “100”
A mainstream feature? Why? >>> Likin’ all tha energy on tha hook & tha “100” parts! Caught me by surprise; let’s see how tha verses hold up… Tha 1st verse pretty nice; it sux catchin’ “a charge;” your life sucks, basically! This gotta be tha worst year I’ve eva had; nothin’ positive about it!! All negative/bullshit! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s ehh; rather hear tha undaground than tha Yo Gotti protégé. I’ll still make it a good rating, due to tha catchy hook. My Rating: 3.8

07. Jay Lewis feat. Mista Cain & WNC Whop Bezzy “GYAB”
I’ono… >>> Cain on tha 1st verse; not too bad wit tha rhymes, surprisingly. Hearin’ this next part and I’m likin’ how Jay sound like he got Foxx aggression. Keepin’ it goin’ wit Bezzy and I’m diggin’ tha energy. Sounded like it skipped at 1:40? Glad tha production on a Baton Rouge tip; pure energy! My Rating: 4.2

08. Big Krucial “Shake It Like U Mean It”
>>> Good energy fa tha hook/diggin’ tha club vibe, as always. Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s cool, as far as tha energy goes… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad; a lil’ less energetic fa me but still str8… My Rating: 3.6

09. Banga Griffin “Molly Cyrus”
>>> Sounds pretty nice wit this production, in tha beginning. Pretty hot wit tha hook, here; definitely nice! “Dat Molly, dat Cyrus!” Skatin’ thru tha 1st verse, here, str8 jiggalatin’ wit this vibe; good shit! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and I’m really feelin’ all these jiggalatin’-type rhymes; good shit! Can’t wait ta pop me a jigga, one day! Gotta, wit B-Real or some1 special! My Rating: 4.6

10. Lil’ K “Let Me Thug”
>>> Sounds like a good one from tha streets of BR, based off this thugged-out intro/hook… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and yeah, tha “DNA” iz “str8 off tha block;” good shit. Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and yeah, gotta watch out fa dem “white boyz!” Kinda why I’m stayin’ ducked-off in shitty-ass PA, right nah! Don’t wanna be up here! Good shit fa tha streetz ta fit wit this upbeat club vibe CD! My Rating: 4.1

11. Jimi Jump feat. Level “Bounce Around”
J Buc on tha production, based off tha previous mixin’! >>> Definitely hyped-up and pure club shit, on tha hook! Hope I link up wit Jimi, in tha future; not sure fa me ta be off on a Monday, tho (“Cut Up wit Jimi Jump”)… Hearin’ Jimi on tha 1st verse and shit sounds tight! Almost got concerned wit tha “sober” part, but he finna “get right,” of course! Lol @ tha “nizzuts;” fashizzo, like Lizzo, lol! Got Level on tha 2nd verse and shit’s definitely nice; always “rollin’” to tha fullest! Go, Jimi! Go, Level! Go, Buc! Go, Tremon!! My Rating: 4.8

12. Thrasher Boy feat. Foxx “Fulla Dat”
Luv ta see these two, right nah! >>> Wish I was “Fulla Dat,” right nah! Too bad probation finna strike! Guess it happens ta every O.G.? Good shit on tha hook; I’m feelin’ jealous, lol! Hearin’ tha 1st verse from Thrasher and he got shit goin’ on strong! Wish I woulda known about dis shit in ’16 ‘cause there woulda been a good amount of playlist adds, as well as me actually gettin’ “Fulla Dat!” Hope I link up wit these two when I make it ta BR, again! How ta get a hold of ‘em, I’ono… Got tha energized Foxx on tha 2nd verse, here; gotta luv it! There’s times up here “I forgot I was famous,” as far as my 1st job went. Time goes by, you move on to tha future! I’m done wit PA; time fa tha south! Frfr! Consistent-ass energy from Foxx; luv him at all times! My Rating: 4.8

13. Triple R “Throwed”
>>> Bad transition from tha previous energy to a fade-in intro? Either way, a good-soundin’ hook; gotta stay “Throwed!” Gotta “shmoke on somethin’ potent;” always, as tha 1st verse delivers… Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 2nd verse, here, soundin’ consistent wit tha rhymes. Gotta have your stoner rap—“lit” rap, as long as it sounds good and not mainstream/on dat mumble shit! A 3rd verse, here… Not sure if this belong on this track, based off tha voice/a 3rd verse? A lil’ blah-blah; not feelin’ it that much… My Rating: 4.1

14. Da Real JR feat. Stacks Up “Thuggin’”
I’ono about that featured artist’s name… >>> Got tha Drum Dummy on tha beat, here; sounds good, so far… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s cool; diggin’ this street shit ta blend in wit tha club vibes… Good 1st verse and quickly transitionin’ to tha hook; not bad/good street shit. Lots of energy and aggression on tha 2nd verse, here; definitely soundin’ nice! My Rating: 4.3

15. Supa “2 Phones (Freestyle)”
>>> Wasn’t anticipatin’ it but I’m feelin’ his rhymes; good shit. Not anticipatin’ freestyles for tha mixtape compilations but this one gets tha plus from me. My Rating: 4.2

½time: Most of this iz soundin’ nice; a 3.9-rated CD, so far! Best surprise was tha back-to-back (like jiggin’, lol) Jimi Jump/Level & Thrasher Boy/Foxx collabz! Keep it goin’, Tremon!

16. John Anthony “Drugs”
>>> This sounds nice; sounds like a random alarm or somethin’ in tha beat sound! Diggin’ it! Good energy, on tha 1st verse! “Playin’ this game like a fuckin’ analog;” yeah! I usually play a video “game” durin’ my reviewz but because there’s so many tracks and they’re short, I’m just stickin’ to just typin’, here. Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s pretty nice, too; consistency from 1:19 – 1:26! Whoa! A “5-0-4” representa; good fa tha N’awlinz! Oh, I miss bein’ in Louisiana! Hope I shake back soon but it seem like too long from now! I’ll just stay on my grind…! I agree! “Sip lean, shmoke weed ‘til you can’t thank!” Fuckin’ right, fuckin’ right! Likin’ how it slows down, toward tha end! Reminds me of when I used to release mixtape compilations like dis! My Rating: 4.3

17. A1 Melo “Let Go”
>>> This singin’ shit sounds like trash, on tha hook! Gay vocals wit tha auto-tune! Tha 1st verse has a quick okay part but then, goes to trash. Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and as soon as I kinda like tha “roll tha weed up” part, it sounds like a quick four barz, transitioning to tha shitty singin’. Even more bullshit sing-rappin’ goin’ on; can’t wait for it ta end! My Rating: 1.0

18. Kocaine feat. FE “I Got Bitches”
Can we recover? >>> Didn’t sound like tha transition from tha last song’s mixin’ ta this beginning sounded right. However, I’m diggin’ this hook; let’s see how it continues… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s aight; not a special voice/flow/rhymes like Foxx or some1 special, tho. Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it aight, as well. Thought I’d like this one betta but it’s only okay. My Rating: 3.2

19. Wade 2X feat. Yung Bulldog “Whole Lotta”
>>> Based off tha intro, it sounds like tha gayness continues from #17, smh! Not gonna be bothered! *Skips* My Rating: 1.0

20. Yung Bulldog feat. Yung Harvey “Water”
>>> Anotha skip? Anotha Bulldog track? Why repeat a 1.0-rated artist, no less, back-2-back? Yeah, fuck this! Next! *Skips* My Rating: 1.0

21. Sheppard “Lovin’ Me”
A more-normal rapper, at least! >>> An okay beat; sounds like he wants to deliver a catchier track, accordin’ ta this hook. Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s aight; his flow kinda on tha mumble level, except he not mumblin’. Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s kinda gettin’ repetitive wit tha “lovin’” shit, as a transition from tha hook to tha 2nd verse. Startin’ ta get a lil’ bored but it’s not on a wack level… My Rating: 3.0

22. Legal Money Drezzy “Stack”
Not likin’ tha artist name or tha title, so I know this gon go sour (not like sour diesel, tho!)… >>> Tha intro and hook was 45 seconds; didn’t pay attention to it, unexpectedly, lol. Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s aight; anotha decent song that’s nothin’ special… Rehearin’ tha hook and it sux that this where tha “stack” gon be “spent” (tha “ass”), instead of talent that I provide (videos from tha northeast)! It’s a struggle I still deal with, 12 years into tha Louisiana undaground… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and, I guess I don’t have nothin’ ta say… My Rating: 2.0

23. Dylan Cage feat. Peewee Longway & Hey Daem “2day”
>>> Consistent, a lil’, durin’ tha beginning/1st verse. Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds catchy wit that repeatin’ sample in tha background. Would luv to “get fucked up 2day!” Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and I’ono, kinda mixed-up between tha shitty auto-tune appearance & tha okay rhymin’. I don’t get tha dry transition between tha 2nd hook and 3rd verse; weird… Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it random; random song, fa me… My Rating: 2.7

24. Wild Wayne “Pull Up”
Tha DJ us Louisianimalz know? >>> Kinda sounds like an older person but not old… An okay hook; just okay. Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it str8; not much feedback fa it… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s okay, once again… My Rating: 2.9

25. OkeeBabyAyye feat. Joe Scott “Lay It Down”
>>> Sketchy-soundin’ intro fa me… Okay, might as well skip this auto-tune garbage! *Skips* My Rating: 1.0

26. Matt Gradnigo feat. IL Duce “Breathtaking”
>>> I’ono about havin’ an R&B singer who sing-raps, here, on this mixtape. I guess it fits wit your vibe but not really mine? Sounds like he tryna remake some1’s old song, b4 tha minute mark… Finally, some life into this wit IL Duce on tha 2nd verse; definitely feelin’ tha consistency! As short as it was, it definitely was “Breathtaking,” right? I think I might like it a lil’ more & will be generous wit my rating, despite me thinkin’ of tha 2.0’s, at first… My Rating: 3.3

27. D Shaw “Come This Way”
>>> Oh no, let’s go back to tha “2 Phones (Freestyle)”; don’t need anotha jacked beat (“It Was A Good Day”). Sounds like white boy/Internet rap ta me. Heard tha “Come This Way” part, in tha hook and I was like, “Oh, tha hook came, outta nowhere?” Whatevz… Coulda purchased an original beat from somewhere, instead? Bad rating from me… My Rating: 1.1

28. Johnny Hu$tle feat. Doonie “Bad Yeah”
Or, J-Hu$tle, as I used to know him by. Anyway, from a shitty song on here to a classic-soundin’ remake for tha beat! Already rated this one a **PERFECT RATING** in tha past, so yeah! It robbed tha top spot from “Fulla Dat” (which I was gonna put as my #01 but it’s still my favorite I neva heard b4)! As much as this was in ’16, I wish I had it in ’16 but got it from Hu$tle late, on May 6, 2017, which I reviewed live, drivin’ down Wayne St. in South Canaan, PA…! Oh yeah, don’t forget about Doonie on tha 2nd verse/ID! My Current Rating: 5.0

29. Toon feat. Ya Boy Big Choo “My Hotgirl”
>>> An okay female vocal track; diggin’ tha 5-0-4 bounce vibe. My Rating: 3.5

30. Big Krucial “Ride”
>>> Likin’ this fa an endin’ track wit you on tha outro, Tremon, as well as this “dick to ride” hook. Lol @ tha “D-I-C-K” part, too, when tha cymbals clash! Hearin’ tha verse and it’s a good, hyped-up vibe ta end this mixtape off. My Rating: 4.2

Overall: I thought this was a pretty nice mixtape, despite tha shitty songs makin’ tha average CD rating look below average. I definitely fucks wit it, as well as what you bring to tha tables, Tremon! Lookin’ at tha back cover, now & no titles for #06 & #07? Random… Well, I can’t review Hottest In The City 2, as I was way too late to download it; it’s been removed. So, when I get up from a lil’ nap, I’ll resume & review Hottest In The City 3; stay tuned!

Review #1,473: Beat Flippa "Street Certified III"

Reviewed on 6.30.2015 (Review #1,473)

Got a brand-new review I finna do, right now, courtesy of Ross Music Group: Beat Flippa Street Certified III. So excited that a new Street Certified’s released, but I’m having a really shitty day and am wanting to just get this over with, fast. Between work and Q-Red randomly attacking my values and still thinkin’ I’m 21, 22 years-old on IG, I’m honestly havin’ bad anxiety attacks! There’s nobody to smoke with up here and my nerves are bad! So, I’m gonna just review this without any intermissions and get back to tha Racked-Up Ready tribute video I’m doin’… Start Time: 9:16 PM | End Time: 10:49 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. Chill, Mz. TeQui, Chameleon & Trump “Certified”
Interesting lineup with you on tha beat… Iz dat Da Chameleon, since you produced for him? I shall find out, if I remember what he sounds like… >>> Sounds like you in tha intro, Flip; nice! I actually calmed down for tha moment and got high! So, this a high review, right now! With that bein’ said, tha intro sounds pretty nice; luv this sound!! Now, we got Chill on tha 1st verse and it sounds pretty nice; definitely feelin’ tha southern vibe!! TeQui snappin’ on tha 2nd verse, consistently; definitely nice!! Flippa, you still inspire me to make those really-southern beats! That organ, tho? Yeah! Crazy! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it’s pretty nice; luv how this blends together! Definitely enjoyin’ this; definitely a classic!! My Rating: 4.8

02. Bro-Bro, Beezy B. Harris, Alvin Ray & Lil’ Goom “Dat Dumb Shit”
Both Big Josh & Tyree Neal on tha beat, here; interesting, loyal, Beat Flippa-type lineup… EDIT: Wow, just looked closely and realized that Beezy B’s now goin’ by his full name, Beezy B. Harris; almost thought it was two different people! >>> Nice beat, once again; sounds like Mouse! Tha hook’s pretty nice; good shit! And, Bro goin’ off on tha 1st verse; definitely consistent! Ooh, definitely likin’ this hook a whole lot!! Great shit!! Very addictive!! Keepin’ this goin’ with Beezy B on tha 2nd verse? Sounds pretty nice; that Baton Rouge sound of southern, eerie vibes that I luv!! That 2nd ½ of tha hook, tho!! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse now and it sounds like intelligent lyrics and rappin’, lol! Really diggin’ his verse, right chea!! My Rating: 4.7

03. Big Rich, Beezy B. Harris & Classik “The Streets Made Me”
We got you & I-49 on tha beat, here, as well as guitars by Tyree Neal. Let’s see what gon come outta this collab… >>> Sounds like a nice and calm beat intro, like an ending to somethin’! Hearin’ tha 1st verse from Big Rich and it sounds like a boss’ lifestyle, to me… I mean, some of it sounds like comin’ up from tha struggle, but it’s all about growin’; nice! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it really sounds like Lil’ Phat? Definitely can hear tha 225 in their voice; real nice!! Even though I’ve been upset about so many things in tha music biz, there’s always somethin’ that makes me smile. And, that voice and verse was like a chocaholic’s chocolate; very addictive!! I really loved tha 2nd verse a whole lot!!!!! Keepin’ it goin’ with Classik on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through with his metal-gorillaized rhymes! Nice job, Classik; excellent collab!! My Rating: 4.6

04. Veronica Ra’elle, J-Trax, DCO & Bro-Bro “No Choice”
Interesting lineup and a Veronica, though I’ono if I gon feel this? We have I-49, Beat Flippa, J-Trax & Veronica Ra’elle all on tha production, here… >>> A nice, slower-soundin’ song; definitely diggin’ this Veronica chick!! Tha hook’s pretty addictive with this, “No choice, no choice, no choice; no choice, no choice, no choice,” repeatin’, lol! Excellent! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse right chea and it sounds pretty nice; eerie, gangsta vibes in tha beat!!! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it sounds nice ta hear; good shit! Did I miss Bro-Bro or somethin’? Oh, I think he randomly appears in tha hook… My Rating: 4.5

05. Beezy B. Harris & Pokey “Feel So Good”
Even more Beezy B, here, with you on tha track… >>> Nice intro, here… Ooh, hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds pretty nice; definitely enjoyin’ this soul sound, here! Tha beat sounds like it samples somethin’ from, like, tha ‘60s or ‘70s. I usually don’t fuck wit shit like that too much but because I’m high, damn, I’m diggin’ this! Did tha quality of tha track just decrease once tha hook came in? Nice hook with tha sample, but I feel like tha quality of tha audio went down… It now restored itself on tha 2nd verse… Hearin’ it and it sounds pretty catchy with this voice! Definitely diggin’ this voice to tha max! It’s so southern, like a nice 30-year-old!! Tha rest of this soul shit can sometimes sound draggin’, but it’s definitely soundin’ nice, right now! He talkin’ ‘bout “smokin’?!” Damn, fuck yeah!! “Smoke ya, baby!!” Think of this “baby” I went to visit surrounded by 12 fuckin’ dogs!!! They have 12 dogs at this spot I gotta fulla dat shit at!!! OMG, I need an intermission ‘cause “Flicka Da Wrist”’s on; I’m so fuckin’ happy, right now!!! My Rating: 4.2

06. BluBlack, Beat Flippa & Delwin The Krazyman “I’m Thuggin’”
Ooh, interesting to feature BluBlack on here and not even him on tha production! You’re doin’ tha beat, Flippa, but I’ono about havin’ someone that called me 16 names on Twitter on here (Delwin)… >>> Ooh, Nu$$ie on tha intro; can’t wait ta hear this! Luv how this sounds for tha start; what a surprise!! When seein’ this on here, I would easily think this would be tha #1, 2 or #3 song, instantly. However, there was such competition before it! Who knew? Luvin’ Blu on tha 1st verse and his style; definitely nice ta hear!! Luv his rapersonality [pronounced “rap-personality!”], lol! Hearin’ tha hook and wow, Beat Flippa, what an addictive hook; luv how it repeats!! Whoa @ tha 2nd verse, too; what a crazy verse from Beat Flippa!!! Could be a perfect-rated song? We shall see!! Even when you slowed down tha flow speed on tha 2nd verse, it still sounds pretty nice! Wow, I really luv how you have such aggression and pressure-inflicting venom in your rhymes!! That almost sounded like a threat toward tha end of tha 2nd verse!! Double surprise, so far!! And, we got Delwin on tha 3rd verse and even this, it sounds pure!! Really feelin’ it!! Just luv his ’08-soundin’ vibes; definitely a great job!! Just goes so great with this beat!!! Luv reviewin’ while I’m high!! My Rating: 5.0

07. Jimi Jump & Young Bleed “Money Got My Love”
Don’t like tha title, but I like tha lineup a lot… Produced by Brent Dixon & you, with tha guitar by Tyree Neal (and, you have a parenthesis for tha guitar this time, lol)… >>> Hearin’ tha beat from you and it’s soundin’ pretty nice, here… Jimi on tha 1st verse and it’s nice, too; what an excellent, laidback vibe!! “Coconut;” oh, you hittin’ me wit tha flavors, Jimi!! I’m all flavored out, for now, even though I gotta go back in six hours!! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!! Ooh @ tha hook; Bleed got such a southern, addictive voice, right chea!! Ahhhhh, it feels like you’re goin’ into a Jacuzzi!!! He’s on tha 2nd verse and it sounds like it’s made in 2008 with pure quality; an ageless voice!!!!! Tha voice makin’ me laugh!!! Excellent job with tha verse and, do I have to mention, excellent job with tha collaboration on tha hook!! Nice cold, excellent beat ending! My Rating: 4.5

08. Big Scoob, Lil’ Josh, Sam I Am & Kid Bob “Swaggalate”
Just like tha last song: I don’t fuck wit tha title, but tha lineup’s got me hyped up… Will this recover my bad day? Hope so! Beat Flippa & I-49 on tha track! >>> Very anticipated for this, based off tha hook!! I’m really luvin’ it; just a classic sound!!! Really gotta luv Scoob and show him tha most respect fa err-body fa Louisiana—oh yeah, I gotta send you tha article from Mass Appeal Records I’m featured in; I’m doin’ big thangz, bruh!! With that bein’ said, Scoob on tha 1st verse and it sounds real great ta hear!! Luv your rhymes and how I can make you happy with my Baton Rougetastic vibes, lol!! Keepin’ it goin’ with Josh on tha 2nd verse, still soundin’ like it’s a “Jigga Juice” day of 2008, lol! Really feelin’ this shit to tha max; consistent voice, rappin’ & southern, “swaggalatin’” content!! Ooh @ tha beat at 1:50; wow, sounds like a thumpin’ pulse!!! Ooh, a twist to tha beat for a few seconds around 2:23!! Hearin’ Sam on tha 3rd verse and he’s as aggressive as eva!! Will he “choke a cup,” though? Gotta, Sam I Am!! Fulla dem cigarettes and cravings, right?! Just luv tha consistent, aggressive voice of his!!! Hearin’ tha 4th verse from Kid Bob and he sounds like a New Orleans-type dude; excellent!! Definitely nice, includin’ tha fast fade out toward tha end!! Oh, man, I know Big Scoob was waitin’ for me to be high while reviewin’ his music!!! I’m so glad I’ve reached that point to get fulla dat shit fa  y’all!! I love y’all!! Y’all made me; I made y’all!! My Rating: 5.0

09. Bro-Bro, Beat Flippa, Beezy B. Harris “That’s What I B Doin’”
Keepin’ tha Beezy B. Harris collaborations comin’ ova a Big Josh beat…! >>> Excellent beat start ta get you anticipated! Hearin’ tha hook and Bro-Bro really goin’ off on this hook!! Sounds like tha kinda anthemic music fa Nu$$ie ta wrap on; anticipatin’!! Hearin’ Bro-Bro on tha 1st verse and thumbs up fa him ta “be drugged up!!” You already know we got shit on lock!! We gon be alive fa’eva and neva lose hype!!! And, if we were to die, all I know iz that we left such a legacy behind!! Look how much we’ve provided to tha world?!? Ya know?!?! Keepin’ it goin’ with Flippa on tha 2nd verse and, uh oh, he’s comin’ through like he’s ‘bout ta squish someone!!! It seems scary!!! He his own army!! Keepin’ it goin’ wit dat boy, Beezy B on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit his 2002 Cash Money-like sound to tha plate, here; luv it!! G-Shit at its finest!!! My Rating: 4.9

½time: I can’t believe what a great mood I’m in fa these tracks!!! That’s what dat good’ll do for ya!! So far, we’re at a 4.7 for tha CD rating; unbelievable!!! That’s Young Ready-like achievements!!!

10. Beezy B. Harris, Lil’ Dixie, Teezy & Danny Boy “Turn Up”
Interesting lineup, hopefully, with you on tha beat… Back cover says just, “T,” while tha CD info says, “Teezy;” hmm… Maybe, no room on tha back cover? I’ll put “Teezy.” >>> Wow @ tha beat start and that Beat Flippa tag; one of tha only tags I like!!! It’s still pure; I believe in it!!! Hearin’ dat nigga, Beezy B on tha 2nd verse & he comin’ through wit some good, pure rhymes; definitely feelin’ it!! Ooh @ tha hook; it sounds like Heaven!!! Tha hymn-soundin’ choir in tha background of tha organ of tha beat sounds excellent!!! And, just how they wildin’ on tha hook!!! Just luv gettin’ fucked up, right?! Keepin’ it goin’ wit dat dude, Dixie, on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit dat quality! Sounds a lil’ bit like a Baton Rouge Mannie Fresh vs. Mon Mack!!! Hearin’ this 3rd verse, right chea and it’s dat “retarded” Baton Rouge music at its finest, meanin’ dat I luv it!! Tha shit that influences my energetic self!! Beat Flippa’s son repeatin’, “Turn up wit me,” at tha end?!? Wow, so addictive!!! Sounds like I’m trippin’ tha fuck off wit him repeatin’ this shit!! Wow, I’m nice and high, to tha max!!! My Rating: 4.9

11. Beat Flippa, Gangsta & Kiing Pin “Dopeboy Swagg”
You on tha beat; I have a feelin’ I gon like this fa some reason? >>> Wow, I’m throwin’ up my elbows ta this already!!! Excellent hook from you, right there!!! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and for your age, you’re excellent!!! “We tha best,” huh? Can’t wait for, “You know what, Frank? You da best! I wanna adopt you,” from someone two decades on me that’s an excellent person!! I fuckin’ can’t believe someone would want to adopt me; awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! But yeah, excellent job on tha 1st verse, as always, Flippa!! Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 2nd verse and I almost thought Gangsta was sayin’, “Nu$$ie!!;” nearly sounded like it! However, I think he nice and “messy?” Hearin’ him on tha 2nd verse and he’s got tha streetz on lock wit this content! Keepin’ this goin’ with tha Kiing Pin on tha 3rd verse, comiin’ through niicely, lol!! Glad he on “dem jiggaz;” keep tha good times alive!!! Wow, I’m diggin’ how, “Swag, swag, swag, swag…,” repeats toward tha end; shocked?! My Rating: 4.7

12. Beelow, Nu$$ie & Delwin The Krazyman “Shit Was Real”
I need a lil’ revival from tha dead, right now; interesting lineup minus tha 16x-Twitter hater, with you on tha beat! >>> Ooh, tha horns in tha beat!! Wow, this iz pure quality at its finest!! Definitely feelin’ tha street aggression on tha 1st verse; best music eva from tha undaground!! Hearin’ tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse and I almost thought it was someone else? Maybe, I didn’t recognize somethin’, lol? Diggin’ this, “I may not be Kevin Gates, but I don’t get tired;” luv how they said that!! And, bringin’ Nu$$ie back from tha dead, here. Sounds like one of his older verses that we’ve heard before… Nothin’ really fresh, but it’s nice ta appear as a bonus, here! Nu$$ie’s death got even darker, recently, as I lost my brother on May 10, of this year. Both my brother and Nu$$ie died on tha 10th (well, 10th on tha East Coast; 9th in Louisiana)! That 10th iz a dark date!!! Oh wow, I ain’t realize fa a second that it’s Kevin Gates bein’ sampled on tha hook!! Delwin on tha 3rd verse, here, and he sounds nice ta hear; can’t complain! I feel like I’ve warped ta 2008, here, and that fuckin’ Kevin Gates’ll really get me soooooooooooooooooooooo hyped up!!! He one of tha main reasons why Mass Appeal Records interviewed me! They saw me bloggin’ about him back in ’08 and you even had him on your first Street Certified CD, back in ’08!! Excellent!! My Rating: 4.8

13. Kiing Pin, Bruce Dillon, Dylan Cage, Gangsta & Veronica Ra’elle “I’m In My Own Zone”
No space with tha comma between Dylan Cage & Gangsta’s name, lol? Had to point that out… Anyway, should be interesting with Big Josh on tha beat. >>> Gangsta and his, “Messy,” or somethin’ again, lol; nice beat sound ta start this off… Nice lil’ “kush” hook, here; nice and laidback! Can’t complain about this since “dis dat fiya!” Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ nice; pure sounds ta get you “in [tha] zone!!” Keepin’ this goin’ with tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ pretty nice; feelin’ tha southern vibe!! And, like he says, “New Orleans, nigga, hear it…;” confirmed! He 504-reppin’!! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it’s soundin’ pretty nice; good shit, overall! My Rating: 4.6

14. Level, C-Loc, Max Minelli, Gangsta, Pokey & B-Real “Ol’ School With Dat Pressure”
*Acts weird* Oh no, iz my anxiety comin’ back?! Do I need to take my manager’s advice and “crush a cup” to vent? OMG, there’s B-Real on tha CD!! I’ono how I do it! If my brother can die unhappy, then will that be me? Don’t get me wrong, I luv my life, but on a day like this, I feel unworthy of bein’ a human being. :( I went to sleep last night at B-Real birthday time of 11:15 PM to get up for work at 3:04 AM, but I said to myself, “B-Real birthday time, but tha day won’t go bad ‘cause my brother’s no longer around.” Lil’ do I know that everytime I go to sleep at B-Real birthday time, tha following day sucks, somehow! Whateva; I’m tryin’ not to be suppositious. But yeah, Beat Flippa & B-Real on tha track; whoo hoo!! An extra space between Max Minelli & Gangsta’s name on tha back cover? Also, wanna point out that tha one girl that’s always askin’ for breaks (on my screen now) got sent home early today and didn’t get to ask for breaks! I feel robbed… :( >>> Ouch, they hittin’ me with tha PUREST LOUISIANA SOUND IN THA BEAT!!! That organ!!! Wow, outstanding!!! Excellent hook with that sample, too!! And, here comes Level on tha 1st verse with his hyped-up vibes; definitely an excellent vibe!! “I ran into a flippa … I threw dat hoe ta Flippa;” nice, Level!! I’m diggin’ your excellent lifestyle, here!! Hearin’ Loc on tha 2nd verse and he reppin’ tha south nice; gotta dig it!! And, Max on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse, comin’ through nicely! Gotta feel his southern vibes! Keepin’ it goin’ wit Gangsta on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit his southern lifestyle at his finest, too! Can’t deny it!! What?! No B-Real? Did I miss him or iz he hidden somewhere? LOL, tha ghost of B-Real!! I get high and he was a mirage!! My Rating: 4.7

15. Big Scoob, Trump, Tyree Neal, B-Real & Beat Flippa “I’m A Mack”
Wow…, I’m speechless… Anyway, let’s see how high I rate this one, like an ass-to-tha-hole? I’ono, but Beat Flippa & my favorite person (B-Real) on tha track! I hope it’s not a mirage this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >>> Sounds pretty hot and laidback with these sounds you can make luv to!! A lil’ bit of “I mean dat” in tha intro!! Wow, iz that B-Real & Beat Flippa on tha hook? Wow, luvin’ tha voice like tha south neva ends!!! And, here we go with Scoob on tha 1st verse, “Blowin’ loud;” you already know!!! “Killa, a gorilla;” gotta be gigantic, Scoob!!! I do say that Kevin Gates’ one of tha greatest things created, but honestly, B-Real’s tha best of all time!! Tha greatest of all time in tha rap game!! Tupac & Biggie can ethically be tha best, but in my opinion, for my own knowledge, B-Real’s my favorite eva!! I’ve neva wanted to support anyone more than him!!! He my idol; I celebrate life and have a job ‘cause of him!! With tha 2nd verse from Trump, it’s soundin’ pretty nice and consistent; gotta feel it! Oh, B-Real, just hear it in your voice (e.g., “Cadillacs…;”), that’s tha south at its finest!! Y’all were blessed with tha voice of tha south!! Who knew? November 15, 1984, tha pure south was born!!! Hope I get to get you to them labels I be messin’ with, now!! Hearin’ Tyree on tha 3rd verse, now, and his singin’ flows real nicely, here! Not bad, overall, fa tha verse; excellent track, though!! My Rating: 4.8

16. Trump, Gangsta, Mz. TeQui & Ms. Portia “IDFWBN”
Got tha Misses, here, lol, with you on tha beat. Let’s see how “I Don’t Fuck With Bitch-Niggaz” comes into play, here… >>> Oh wait, not, “Bitch,” but, “Broke;” I see… Hearin’ tha hook and its repetitive vibe sounds tight; diggin’ it! Tha beat’s nice and slow ta get err-body through a nice, zoned-out vibe!! Nice job with tha 1st verse; I’m diggin’ it, no matter what’s goin’ on, here! Consistent toward tha end, too! Keepin’ it goin’ wit Gangsta on tha 2nd verse, “Thuggin’ in these streetz since ‘9-8!” That’s what’s up! I don’t have no longtime friends except in tha music biz! Almost started with ’08 fa me… Here comes tha females on tha 3rd verse, kickin’ it off wit TeQui… I’m diggin’ what she spittin’; can’t deny it! I like her rapid-soundin’ rappin’; I fuck wit it… Keepin’ it up wit Portia; she sounds like JJ Fad or somethin’! Nice! Also, Diamond or Katie Got Bandz! My Rating: 4.5

17. Sir Token, Bruce Dillon & Kiing Pin “I Hustle All Day”
Anotha track produced by you and anotha newbie in tha lineup! Will they be worth as much as a token? >>> Beat sounds pretty nice, here; really feelin’ tha build-up! Hearin’ tha hook and wow, I’m definitely diggin’ this!! Nice lil’ spinoff of T-Lo “All Day”!! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and, fuckin’ wow, tha way this beat builds up, at times, I’m so attracted to it!! Nice job wit tha rappin’, too!! Just luv that aggression in tha repetitive hook!!! Almost has a lil’ bit of Beat Flippa in tha voice, too!! This iz where my style comes from, so when people see me and appreciate me, I got dat 225 in me!! With that bein’ said, Bruce Dillon on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through with consistent, street shit, to tha max!!! What consistency with this drug-related content; he’s like a drug, himself!!! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse from Kiing Pin and it’s pretty nice; he got dat tough-soundin’ southern vibe in his voice! Gotta luv it!! So glad y’all’s style have really influenced my life!!! My Rating: 4.9

18. Nip, Raw Dogg, Greedy, Gangsta & Big Grizzly “Believe Dat (Studio Cypher)”
Endin’ anotha CD off with anotha “Cypher” or freestyle-like track, with you, Cee Rock & Nunu on tha track… >>> Well, this sounds much betta and catchier, despite a “money” approach in tha beginning of tha hook. I have ta say, I’m diggin’ it; likin’ tha title part! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ like a nice lil’ Baton Rouge prison at its finest! What I mean by that iz that you’re locked inta this shit, right now!!! Nice job with tha 2nd part from Raw Dogg, too; good shit! Really consistent with deliverin’ tha rhymes at all times!!! Hearin’ Greedy on tha 3rd part and it’s pretty nice, too; “mind of a maniac, smarter than a brainiac!” Yup!! I feel like I have two brainz ‘cause of my Asperger’s syndrome!! Keepin’ it goin’ with Gangsta on tha 4th part of tha verse, doin’ his thang, always providin’ it for tha streetz!! And, tha final verse of tha CD belongs ta Big Grizzly! He sounds like he providin’ some mo knowledge to tha streetz; that’s what’s up! Props fa always “stayin’” active!! My Rating: 4.4

Overall: OMG, for havin’ such a shitty day, I knew tha day was gonna turn out to be so much betta!! Wow, this review was my favorite thing of tha day!! Even betta than gettin’ high, but tha high provided tha boost fa this CD!!! Tha production was definitely A++ at its finest!! Tha different people on here were definitely an excellent selection of err-body; err-body brought their A-game!! And, Flippa, you really went off on this bitch, to tha max!! Like, you made it seem like people would be afraid of you to where they gotta obsessively listen to you, ya dig!? I definitely vote this for Louisiana Compilation Of Tha Year, if I was still doin’ my awards, ya feel me?! Keep up tha excellent work; you neva age!! Neva feel old ‘cause you always have tha quality in ya!!!

LOL @ DJ B-Real!! B-Real only ranked #6 & #9 on my ratings?!? And, I was fulla dat shit, too?!? He topped tha otha ones but had a much harder competition, this time!! But, he definitely did tha damn thang!! Wow, a nine-page review; haven’t seen that in a while?!? What a excellent way to end tha 1st ½ of 2015 off, after some life-changing moments!! P.I.R.’s Who I Are mixtape might’ve been tha 1st Louisiana CD review I did while high, but this was tha 1st one where I sat down and regularly reviewed! P.I.R.’s was a live review! But yeah, everyone, keep grindin’!!
