Review #1,311: DJ Hektik, Big Jay, DJ 5150, DJ Dow Jones & Dre "N.O. To The B.R. 10 (Hosted by Turk)"

Reviewed on 8.29.2013 (Review #1,311)

Got anotha review up next: DJ Hektik, Big Jay, DJ 5150, DJ Dow Jones & Dre - N.O. To The B.R. 10 (Hosted by Turk). Now, I thought I reviewed Vol. 10, which I thought was this: http://www.livemixtapes.com/mixtapes/19819/no-to-the-br-10.html But, that’s just a Bayou Classic Edition. Now, I got tha real Vol. 10. Another thing: Why this CD 1:24:10? Doesn’t it suck to sell zero copies in tha streetz? Start Time: 12:09 PM | End Time: 12:52 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

© 2013 CD Review (Review #1,311) reviewed on 8.29.2013 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Turk “Intro”
>>> Good intro, but there are three other DJs on here, Turk! My Rating: N/A

02. Turk Feat. Lil’ Wayne “Zip It”
>>> Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it sounds good wit zippin’ their “mouth!” Not really into Wayne, as always; nothin’ horrible, but nothin’ to listen to. Let’s see what (would’ve been) Turk’s comeback verse sounds like… Sounds like it’s on some 2010s, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony-type shit… I’ll give it props; good job, Turk. My Rating: 3.9

03. Ceto “40 On Me”
>>> Kinda sounds boring fa me, here; sounds like regular mainstream music on all levels… My Rating: 2.3

04. Calliope Var Feat. Goonie Gang “Money-Making Nigga”
>>> Not likin’ tha vocals on tha hook; Drake ain’t tha end of tha world!! Sounds way too much like his music, almost like a new version of “Forever”; yuck! …YUCK! But, since it’s Calliope’s song, I’ll peep out more… Here he iz on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some successful turnouts; I can feel tha rhymes, so there’s at least one plus. Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, either. Other people can make this kinda music, and it’ll be boring. But, when it’s Calliope, I seem to be interested. My Rating: 2.9

05. Kevin Gates “Love Gates”
>>> Had no idea what this was ‘til I saw tha “Love” in tha title, again… “Love Gates” = “Love Sosa”. Well, not really into tha fast rappin’; startin’ ta not make sense, anymore. Not everyone’s Twista!! At least there’s a video fa this; makes things a lil’ betta, but still, a video for a jacked-beat song? Where’s tha original production when you need it! Gates need ta holla at me fa a video, but this music world’s so one-dimensional, aiming at what’s ‘cool,’ and there’s no room fa me! My Rating: 3.5

06. LG Feat. Curren$y “Battlefield”
>>> Good rhymes, here, but why so undefined wit this “battlefield”? Like, why can’t LG paint a complete picture, so I can learn about him? Either way, good job wit tha song, and Curren$y sounds good fa a collab. My Rating: 3.8

07. Clever Kev “King Tut”
>>> Gotta keep tha feedback real short ‘cause I still was neva called back fa dat interview I wanted, last year! Sounds like a freestyle, here; why does everyone have “niggaz,” homies, etc.? I’m 25, and I’ve neva had a friend I’ve known in person die, yet! Lucky? Good, here, but startin’ ta sound like braggin’ toward tha end… My Rating: 4.2

08. Juvenile Feat. Beat Docta “Blow My High”
>>> Sounds like randomness in tha hook, here… Okay, I can hear a clearer version of tha randomness at :27… Catchy hook; not bad… Feelin’ tha collaboration, here; agreessive, like when Magic was alive! My Rating: 4.0

09. 6 Ward Pook & Calliope Var “Downtown/Uptown Status”
>>> Sounds a lil’ like Mon Mack, here, in tha beginning (6 Ward Pook); catchy. Also, it almost sounds like a calmer version of tha “N.O. Anthem” Da U Boys came out wit, a few years back. Feelin’ how he comin’ through on tha beat, here; sounds consistent—dat 2010s N.O. shit I like. Calliope’s got a lotta freeing goin’ on, here. Ehh, I still don’t understand how dudes can like/support other dudes, since no one supports me, but it’s all good fa tha song, here. My Rating: 4.2

10. Ray Vicks Feat. Squirm G “Doin’ 2 Much”
>>> A good song; nothin’ really ta say, but y’all bling-blingin’ err-body out… My Rating: 3.8

11. Young D-Boy & Juvenile “On My Grind”
>>> Tha previous song was okay, and I had nothin’ ta really say. This iz on dat level, but a lil’ boring wit this ‘earnin’-money’ shit… Ehh, Juve, you sound like a ‘90s baby wit these ‘need-ta-get-money’ lyrics… My Rating: 2.6

12. Turk “Turk Speaks”
>>> Nice intermission! My Rating: N/A

13. Turk “Not Guilty”
>>> Short and sweet; sounds great wit tha aggression! My Rating: 4.1

14. Young Ready “Both Ways”
>>> Young Ready luvs his Q-Red! Sounds like some Badd Nooze-type delivery, here… This song sounds okay; nothin’ really special, here. Kinda sounds like ramblin’; I think that’s what y’all luv ta do now, right? My Rating: 3.7

½time: So far, it’s a decent CD; nothin’ I’m obsessed wit, yet, but it’s not wack. Matta fact, 3.6 iz tha CD rating, currently.

15. Sess 4-5 “So Much Money”
>>> VERY GAY HOOK/TOPIC!!! Was gonna try and tolerate it, but like Justine says, “Dump it!!” My Rating: 1.0

16. WeDatLoyalty “Knock It Off”
>>> Hmm, sounds fake ta me; sorry, I just can’t take tha “blood” shit serious, especially on a mainstream-soundin’, anthemic beat like this. Why does everyone “know some … niggaz”? I know no one!! My Rating: 1.0

17. Da U Boys “83”
>>> Not really into tha mainstream-soundin’ beat. Also, it’s boring fa a song/topic/delivery, overall. My Rating: 2.3

18. Ms. Tee “Wut’s Luv”
>>> Yes, a different vibe, finally!! Gotta feel tha bounce!! This CD needed an oasis in this desert of gettin’-money beats! Sometimes, tha bounce beats get boring afta a lil’ while, but this iz still nice ta hear. I like her singin’ throughout tha beat, sometimes, too… Oh, tha title took tha Tina Turner hook; kinda unoriginal fa me… My Rating: 3.8

19. Lil’ Razor Feat. Lil’ Dee “Fly Away”
>>> Okay, but iz that auto-tune, randomly? Skips! My Rating: 1.0

20. Big World Feat. Down Bad “Super Clean”
>>> Blast from tha past, here! Let’s see what 2012 sounds like… Piz Corleone on tha track; sounds good… Sounds good ta hear Big World, but why tha unenergetic flow? Where’s tha UGH, or tha UMMF, or tha AHHH?! Good parts from Terror & JR Dot, too. Too bad they’re quiet when gettin’ a hold of me when they have ta! Also, nice appearance from Cage! I wish Down Bad would quit bein’ quiet! Why iz quiet tha answer to bein’ cool? My Rating: 4.2

21. Tim Thugga Feat. K.Gates “That’s Fucked Up”
>>> Can’t give too much feedback ‘cause Tim Thugga wouldn’t dislike a video fa me that went against me when I asked him to, as well as no word on my awards, seven months later!! Well, this sounds good; betta than most on here. K.Gates sounds okay, but surprisingly, I have ta give it “up” ta Thugga, here; wow!! My Rating: 4.3

22. Turk Feat. Calico Jonez “I’m On”
>>> “Dump it!!” My Rating: 1.0

23. Fee Feat. Ray Vicks “Restless”
>>> A lil’ different wit dat background music bein’ sampled… Ehh, this iz okay; it’s tolerable… Tha sound iz what’s keepin’ my interest up. My Rating: 3.2

24. Dino Danja “Bitch-Ass Nigga”
>>> “This tha shit I don’t like;” didn’t that come from someone, like Drake? A lil’ typical wit tha flow, but tha rhymes sound good. Kinda random wit a freestyle, here. My Rating: 2.8

25. Spitta “All Around The Board”
Ewe, old! Why would you guys go back to that robbery, heroin-killing year of 2011 fa tha ‘12/‘13? My Current Rating: 4.4

26. Lil’ Mista “Bitch Bad”
>>> More randomness, which iz what I can expect from a lot of tha random artists on this mixtape… I guess, it’s a good song fa tha hoes, ‘90s baby style. My Rating: 3.8

28. Turk “Outro”
>>> Hope Turk’s upcomin’ music gon be good. I dunno if I’m anticipated fa anything new, though… My Rating: N/A

29. M-11 Spitta “M-11 Spitta”
>>> Anotha typical-soundin’, mainstream-like song, here… 2:30 went by, and I was lost in tha beat… My Rating: 2.0

Overall: Nothin’ really stood out fa me on this one. A lot of tha music sounded almost tha same. If not, there were trashy songs on here. I’m sure Vol. 11’s out by now (or soon). Guess I’ll have ta see if that has improvement. I also hate how everytime I review one of these N.O. To The B.R.s, there’s always someone on here that makes me feel uncomfortable. Like, they couldn’t do tha easiest favors for me, smh… That’s not how you gon get out tha south!!

Keepin’ tha reviewz goin’ wit DJ 5150, DJ Hektik, Big Jay, DJ Dow Jones & Dre N.O. To The B.R. (Bayou Classic Edition). Looks like this anotha CD that sold 0 copies in tha streetz ‘cause tha length’s 1:40:35… Start Time: 2:13 PM | End Time: 3:00 PM

01. K. Gates “The Wave”
Lookin’ forward to this new Gates…, 504 style, of course! >>> Sounds like a Superbowl party finna happen… Didn’t think this would be an interlude/skit; good shit, Gates! My Rating: N/A

02. K. Gates “BodyBag”
FlightSchool on tha beat, here! >>> Beat sounds kinda Ross-y for an original production… Ehh, it sounds great wit you rappin’ on it! Ooh, likin’ tha hook; you got a nice voice ta deliver this shit! Tha streetz must luv you!! Got mad respect for you, Gates!! Good 2nd verse, too; lots of energy goin’ on, here!! My Rating: 4.5

03. Lil’ Boosie Feat. Savage & Money Bagz “Play It How It Go”
Lookin’ forward wit this Savage production and feature, although I would be more anticipated if it wasn’t a mainstream artist… >>> Was like, “This doesn’t sound like a Boosie song, luckily,” fa tha start. LOL, that’s Savage on tha 1st verse; real nice! Doesn’t sound like his production; a lil’ on tha mainstream. A lil’ catchy on tha hook fa him, but he takin’ chances wit that voice effect on tha hook! Savage…, be careful! Boosie’s on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit regular shit; same thing wit Money Bagz… My Rating: 4.0

04. Calliope Var Feat. Ceto & Magnolia Chop “Hold It Down”
! >>> Good beginning from Magnolia Chop. In tha file info, you have two spaces separating Magnolia Chop’s name. Well, Savage took a chance wit tha a-tune on tha previous song; why do I gotta hear it on Magnolia Chop’s voice? SMH! Good 1st verse, though; feelin’ tha energy fa tha streetz! Wow, tha ending was so horrible!!! Lots of points bein’ taken off, here!! My Rating: 2.3

05. L.C. & Giga Feat. Kevin Gates “The Mad House”
>>> Beat ain’t too bad; it has a Louisiana/225 feel to it… Tha hook sounds like somethin’ catchy for 2013… Giga’s on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit good energy. It reminds me a lil’ of when L.C. teamed up wit T-Dub fa some tracks. Hearin’ Kevin Gates on tha 2nd verse and there’s a lotta braggin’ goin’ on; nice and consistent! L.C.’s on tha 3rd verse, and it sounds good. This iz good for a song; kinda comes close to tha older shit he put out… My Rating: 4.2

06. K. Gates “The Wave Speaks (Interlude)”
Ooh, an interlude from tha Gatester—okay, that sounded a lil’ corny. Take 2: Ooh, an interlude from Mr. 504 Gates! >>> Good shit, Gates. My Rating: N/A

07. K. Gates “Bigalow”
FlightSchool doin’ more production, here! >>> This iz more of a Louisiana sound than tha previous FlightSchool production… Very consistent wit these rhymes; now, this iz what I call lyrical! Tha hook sounds kinda cool; almost reminds me of a Baton Rouge vibe! Nice 504 vs. 225-type joint, here, courtesy of just you, Gates! Good shit all tha way through, Gates!! My Rating: 4.6

08. Lit Blueblack & Ray Vicks “Street Beat Cha”
Surprised you know of this Blueblack over BluBlack; kinda doesn’t make sense… >>> Okay, but a lil’ street for me for a random rapper. This also sounds a lil’ too much like a Bad Azz Ent.-type joint… I do think tha hook’s a lil’ catchy, though. My Rating: 3.2

09. Lil’ Mista “Pop It For Wne”
I dunno if I’m in tha mood for a tribute song, right now… >>> Lyrics didn’t really fit tha title/hook durin’ tha 1st verse. Iz that Magnolia Chop on tha hook? Of course, a song like this has ta have “fuckin’” in it, smh! Beat sounds tight, though. My Rating: 3.6

10. Fiend Feat. Mouse On Tha Track “Slap That Bitch”
Interestin’ collaboration, here, wit Mouse on tha beat. >>> Almost doesn’t sound like Mouse’s production, at first, ‘til I hear him rap. This sounds like a decent joint, overall. Good 1st verse from Fiend, comin’ through wit some trap shit, wit a “bitch” in tha title, lol? My Rating: 3.7

11. T-Bo “Boune Dat Azz 2.0”
I prolly reviewed this already; I can’t tell ‘cause I’m not home and I deleted tha review of his ‘cause I don’t like how he blocked me from both Facebook & Twitter, after I stated my own opinion on his wack CD he put out! >>> My Current Rating: 4.2

12. K. Gates Feat. Bobby V & B-Raw “I Do That”
What’s wit tha collab? Anybody remember that Bobby Valentino goes by “Bobby V” now? >>> Yea, a lil’ random wit tha hook and tha singin’ from Bobby V… This sounds a lil’ too mainstream for me… However, tha 2nd verse has better lyrics. My Rating: 3.3

13. Dino Danja Feat. K. Gates “In Gunz We Trust”
He had a “We Trust” song wit Lil’ Scottie, recently; iz this tha same song redone? >>> Still sounds good fa Danja’s part… Interestin’ that Gates joined Dino Danja on this shit; I’ll rate it betta than tha other version! My Rating: 4.3

14. Turk “Get Naked”
??? >>> Sounds like some good, gangsta shit. Because he’s been gone for so long, he’s kinda a faceless, voiceless rapper for me. I can’t picture what he looks like, nor do I remember how he sounds, at times… But, glad he still reppin’ dat G-shit, regardless! My Rating: 4.3

15. Lil’ Trill & Shell Feat. DJ B-Real “Lights Off”
SMH @ NOT LISTIN’ MY BIG DAWG, DJ B-REAL ON THA FEATURE!!! But, thumbs up for pickin’ tha best song off that CD! My Current Rating: 4.6

16. The Rap Pack Feat. A Bay Bay “Floatin’”
>>> Why tha “MM” tag in tha beginning? Feel like just skippin’ this! Interestin’ turnout: The Show rappin’? Thought it would be wack, but it’s not ‘cause of Show’s consistent rhymes… Tha hook sounds good, too; fast-movin’ Show, lol… Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty consistent, too; nice turnout! My Rating: 4.2

17. Down Bad “Everybody”
Let’s see how this compares to “Bunz”. Of course, I have a feelin’ that “Bunz” was way better… >>> Ehh, a lil’ similar to Benjamin Racks & YaBoiBeezy’s “Everybody” wit tha beginning, but it’s soundin’ betta tha more I hear about “everybody,” lol! Rhymes are consistent, too; how much “everybody” can you get, lol? Very creative by findin’ so many different subjects!!! My Rating: 4.5

½time: Sounds like a good mixtape compilation, once again; 4.0 for tha CD rating, currently!

18. Young Ready “Feelin’ Like Boosie”
What’s wit tha old music? Betta yet, not-so-good music? My Current Rating: 2.8

19. Webbie “Undisputed”
G-Motive beat; have I heard before? Can’t keep up wit all these random songs from mainstream rappers, anymore… >>> Sounds random; good, but I’m not interested in mainstream rappers, at tha moment. My Rating: 3.8

20. RichKidd Jr. Feat. Choppa “Like Dat”
I liked Lil’ Junior betta for his name, but I guess this iz tha evolution of “dat.” >>> Good bounce music; nice collaboration wit Choppa! Even kickin’ it off wit Choppa doin’ tha 1st verse; good shit ta keep tha party up! Got Lil’ Junior on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some party shit; same wit tha 3rd verse, too! My Rating: 4.1

21. Keedey Black “Rock My World”
I remember this one from tha previous mixtape compilation. Though I don’t agree on havin’ tha same song on two different mixtapes, this chick did her thang wit this one! My Current Rating: 4.6

22. Tim Thugga “Blisted”
Why? >>> Decent/above average. However, looks like his dayz of gettin’ spins wit me and shit are effectively over. I haven’t heard from him about my 2012 awards in tha mail, either, so he might be completely over fa me! My Rating: 3.9

23. K. Gates “Bub Story”
Interestin’ title. >>> Nice rhymes; really likin’ all tha not “givin’ a fuck, fuck” shit on tha hook! Keep up tha rappin’; you fuckin’ rule!! Woo @ tha 2nd verse; gonna increase my rating fa all this consistent, lyrical shit!!! My Rating: 4.5

24. Curren$y Feat. Young Roddy “Ex Girls”
I recognize tha feature, but I think this iz a new song… >>> Anotha nice, laidback joint from $pitta; nice rhymes and as always, great voice fa dis shit! Promising hook about, “I can still fuck all of my ex girls,” lol. Young Roddy doesn’t sound that bad on tha 2nd verse, too; nothin’ disappointin’, here… My Rating: 4.1

25. A-One (Wissel) “F.U.C.K.”
How will this hold up against tha Curren$y joint, sayin’ he wanted to “fuck all his ex girls”? >>> Why a “MM” intro? Turn-off!!! Not feelin’ this beat, and tha rhymes are okay. However, I like tha title part in tha hook; more on tha “keep a choppa” tip than fuckin’, I guess? My Rating: 3.4

26. Jason Lyric “Might Not Make It”
Heard this one already from his CD. My Current Rating: 3.7

27. Sess 4-5 Feat. 6 Ward Pook & Sino “So Much Money”
Like tha artists, but I don’t like tha title… >>> Bullshitty hook… Ehh, not really for me, but it’s not terrible, since y’all keep it street. My Rating: 3.5

28. K. Gates “Splittin’ It (Spitarillo Anthem)”
!! >>> Really slow vibe; nice! Tha flow sounds nice and interestin’! However, tha flow on tha hook’s startin’ ta sound like a bullshit jacked song, smh! Despite tha flow, I’m feelin’ tha perspective you bringin’ to tha table, Gates! Gotta always light a spliff, right? Not feelin’ tha background vocals! Reminds me of Ca$h Out-type bullshit! Very mixed review, here; I think it was more negative than positive… My Rating: 3.2

29. Lee Banks “Fuck Wit Me”
>>> Started off tha bat. Not writin’ down lyrics “since 2010”? I think that’s a weakness for memorable songs, now. I could neva picture me rappin’ about tha houses in Hollywood, FL without writin’ it down… Either way, this iz only about lyrics; nothin’ special for a song, overall. My Rating: 3.5

30. Rudye Feat. Bengie Bee & J Fletcha “Hood Knocking”
Thumbs up fa some Rudye! >>> Nice start from Rudye! I feel anticipated and locked-in!! Yes, light tha “dutch,” Rudye! Light it!! Great 1st verse, givin’ you a day in tha life in tha streetz wit Rudye! Feelin’ tha hook, too; glad you consistently reppin’ for tha “hood,” here, Rudye!! Keepin’ it goin’ wit Bengie Bee on tha 2nd verse… Not really into tha Eazy-E jacked shit, as well as tha “money” shit. Ehh, could’ve gotten a better feature, but it iz what it iz, I guess? Cut scene in tha middle… Oh, J Fletcha on tha 3rd verse? Not listed in tha feature…? Thought I might’ve heard this, since it’s on some The Hallows-type shit, but it’s still good to hear Fletch randomly appear… My Rating: 4.4

31. Puppy Feat. Nu$$ie “Going Nu$$ie”
Looks like somethin’ I would skip… >>> Not as bad as I thought, but let him R.I.P.! Not even really a feature; just a lil’ sample part in tha hook! What a rip-off for what I expected!! Also, how dickrided iz this: Tha intro and outro don’t have any blendin’, mixin’, or any cut-offs goin’ on; why wasn’t it mixed together? This izn’t somethin’ to have stand out! My Rating: 3.2

32. B.G. & Gar “Real Is Back”
Not really into this title, but I know they don’t disappoint. >>> Beat’s nice; good shit from both Gizzle & Gar! Gar’s real consistent on this beat; thumbs up!! My Rating: 4.2

33. 31stDeedy Feat. K. Gates “Makin’ A Dollar”
LOL, what, did K. Gates find everyone from tha previous N.O. To The B.R.s and hook up wit them from Baton Rouge? >>> Beginning sounds okay, but I’m not into this kinda rap music about money! However, K. Gates has a verse that’s soundin’ pretty-good, here… My Rating: 3.0

34. 6th Ward Pook Feat. Skipp Bullet “Fuck Somethin’”
Skip wit one “P” or Skipp wit two “P”s, tha way you have it? *Checks Google* Oh, it’s not “Skipp & Bullet”, it’s “Skipp Bullet”, without an “and!” >>> Not bad for tha beginning and hook; this iz okay, although I don’t usually expect this kinda shit fa a New Orleans artist… Oh wait, I hear Skip (one “P”) on tha 2nd verse; I’m confused… Maybe, I’ll keep it tha way you have it, 5150, except take tha extra “P” outta Skip’s name… My Rating: 3.6

Overall: Turned out to be more decent than usual, although there were still tha hot jointz on here…

Review #1,237: DJ 5150, DJ Hektik, Big Jay, DJ Dow Jones & Dre "N.O. To The B.R. 9 (Pyrex Radio Edition)"

Reviewed on 12.30.2012 (Review #1,237)

My next review iz a double disc. However, it 2:42:32; that’s more than two CDs combined (1:20 + 1:20 = 2:40:00). So, how did this sell copies? Either way, it’s DJ 5150, DJ Hektik, Big Jay, DJ Dow Jones & Dre N.O. To The B.R. 9 (Pyrex Radio Edition). I don’t remember tha last time I did a double disc review, but this should be interestin’…
Disc 1: Start Time: 11:04 AM | End Time: 11:31 AM
Disc 2: Start Time: 11:41 AM | End Time: 12:07 PM
Overall: Start Time: 11:04 AM | End Time: 12:07 PM

01. Big Jay “Intro”
>>> Let’s go…; why such a delay for Pyrex Radio Vol. 7? I’m already on Vol. 12 of my compilations… and, I started since Pyrex Radio Vol. 7 was ‘pose ta come out! My Rating: N/A

02. Lee Banks Feat. Shell (Yung Thugga), Mista Cain, Smitty, Young Ready & Sunny “Get U A Body (Remix)”
>>> Catchy beat; great collaboration from everyone! Everyone goes off, here! My Rating: 4.5

03. Clever Kev, Shell (Yung Thugga) K. Gates “My City”
>>> Anotha good one. Feelin’ Shell’s “Reaper” character; he real gutta wit it, lol! My Rating: 4.4

04. Young K.T., Young Ready, Lee Banks, Mista Cain & Lil’ Ernest “Street Nigga”
>>> For a singer, K.T. sounds good on this kinda song; it sounds like a nice, Lil’ Boosie-type beat ta be on, and he does a nice job! This collaboration sounds good, too; kinda feels like tha Young Ready hood, here. My Rating: 4.2

05. B.G. Feat. Michael Stokes “Too Hood”
Production from Oddz N Endz. >>> This good, too; I like that singin’ hook! Great job wit tha beat, Oddz N Endz! My Rating: 4.3

06. Ray Vicks “Exodus”
>>> I like tha beat; why iz tha voice a lil’ boring? Like, where’s tha character? You hear sirens in tha background, you should have a better voice, Ray! A lil’ too long for me, too… My Rating: 3.7

07. Calliope Var Feat. Young Roddy “Redemption”
>>> Nice collaboration; nice hook! Good job from that Jets dude on tha hook! Tha beat’s nice and Calliope goes off, as usual! My Rating: 4.3

08. Juvenile “Who The Fuck Is You”
>>> Sounds a lil’ funny goin’ off on tha hook; Juvie! Juvie! Juvie! Juvie! See, nice and quick! Only 2:11 on tha length and it goes off, nice and quick! My Rating: 4.4

10. Mista Cain “Bam”
>>> Good beat; this iz okay. My Rating: 4.0

11. Mouse On Tha Track “Hand Rub”
>>> As always, catchy as usual; love tha beat and Mouse’s character! Now, tha whole world’ll be rubbin’ their handz!!! My Rating: 4.5

12. Bengie B Feat. T.E.C. “Ur Nothin’”
J Buc on tha beat!! My Current Rating: 4.5

13. 6 Ward Pook Feat. P-Town Moe “Baby Momma”
>>> Ooh, a bounce vibe! Glad to see these two collaboratin’; lookin’ forward ta hearin’! Jammin’ hook; all about dat “pussy!” Jammin’ all tha way ‘round! My Rating: 4.4

¼time: So far, very jammin’; almost every song iz a 4.0 for me! Currently, tha CD rating’s a 4.3; can it stay up?!?

14. Down Bad & DJ B-Real “Bunz”
Now, this I’m anticipated for!! >>> Yea!! Nice beginning from JR Dot and then, DJ B-Real comes through wit tha hook!! Sounds a lil’ like “Make Me Spend Money On You” from Bro-Bro, Level & Foxx, though, but I’m definitely diggin’ it, especially this “Bunz” title!! Got DJ B-Real rappin’ on a bounce beat!! Ooh, definitely gotta add this somewhere along tha line!! Definitely luvin’ all tha fast shit he rappin’ to! Before you know it, he’ll be rappin’ on an EDM beat! LOL, you gotta have Cage goin’ off on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit dat entertainin’ shit! Oh, there’s gotta be a full version around somewhere!!! My Rating: 4.7

15. Foxx “Put Me On”
My Current Rating: 4.4

16. Lil’ Boosie “Don’t Know My Style”
Big Wayne beat; why Tupac in tha feature? I ain’t puttin’ him in tha ID! Low anticipatin fa this! >>> Skippin’ tha Tupac part… Boosie ain’t too bad; good, as always, wit some faster rappin’ and a good beat ta back him up. My Rating: 3.2

17. Lil’ Trill & Lil’ Mal “Y.N.R.T.”
>>> “Young Nigga Runnin’ Thangz” iz tha acronym, here, and this sounds like a banga! Nice beat ta rap on and Trill holdin’ tha hook down in a great way! I heard Lil’ Mal on Lil’ Cali’s “Killin’ ‘Em” joint, so it’s gonna be anticipatin’ ta hear him again! Great collaboration; definitely “runnin’” shit! My Rating: 4.4

18. Shu & Kevin Gates “Late Nite”
>>> Sounds like a Lil’ Wayne clone, a lil’… Nothin’ really special wit these lyrics at all, even though tha beat’s a lil’ better than tha lyrics… Gates sounds a lil’ betta, but this iz a decent song, overall. My Rating: 3.6

19. N.O. Meazy Feat. Byboo Da Truth “Look Back At It”
>>> Yes, a bounce vibe; gotta feel it! Also, tha length’s 2:27; nice and quick! Good collaboration; y’all holdin’ shit down, too! My Rating: 4.3

20. Sess 4-5 Feat. Magic “See Wut Dat Do”
>>> Nice beat, here; Sess holdin’ it down, once again! If he’s in his 30’s, we should be in contact by now! What’s takin’ so long? Maybe, I should reach out on Twitter or somethin’? Jammin’ beat and Sess’s really holdin’ this shit down! My Rating: 4.3

21. Flow Feat. Bonka, Kevin Gates & G. Wilson “Ink Bleed (Remix)”
Flightschool doin’ tha production. >>> 1st verse has a Wayne flow; boring… However, tha lyrics are much betta wit this “blood” shit…, I think? Next up, Bonka; sounds good, like always. Third, Kevin Gates; I would think K. Gates on a collaboration like this, but it’s not. Kevin sounds good and consistent, here. Seems like he flops on tha 1st appearance and comes back strong on tha 2nd appearance on mixtape compilations… Last, G. Wilson… Not too bad for an ending verse; it fits fa tha “5-0-4!” My Rating: 4.4

22. Ray Vicks & Lil’ Phat “Body Bag”
>>> Regular trap music; what else? Funny how everyone has all this kinda energy on a Vybe beat, LMAO! Same thing wit Lil’ Phat: fits fine; nothin’ else you can expect. My Rating: 4.1

23. Fiend & Curren$y “Wonderful”
>>> A lil’ laidback; glad it’s short fa this CD. It’s only decent for me; nothin’ really ta say, except that it’s a good collaboration. It prolly should be on mainstream outlets? My Rating: 3.6

24. Tim Thugga Feat. Carterboy “Keep It Real”
>>> Catchy hook from Carterboy; good character from Tim Thugga. Carterboy has a nice and mysterious voice comin’ through on this track! Love tha character and flow! My Rating: 4.3

25. Shell (Yung Thugga) & Savage “Solo”
Ooh, this looks really anticipatin’!! You know, I’ve always anticipated a collaboration like this!! >>> Nice, quiet, unexpected hook from Savage; he came outta nowhere, deliverin’ some laidback shit! Shell sounds good on this beat, too; nice and laidback that you can’t deny! My Rating: 4.4

26. A-One (Wissel) “Brother From Another”
>>> Nice beat, here; this sounds betta than tha song on tha previous compilation of N.O. To The B.R. I reviewed… Good rhymes; can’t complain, here. Tha hook’s catchy, too, as tha title keeps repeatin’! My Rating: 4.2

27. Lil’ Mike “Waist Line”
>>> Barely okay for me. This ain’t really for me wit tha typical sex/relationship content. Some of it sounds catchy, but that’s pretty much it. My Rating: 3.4

½time: Definitely a hot compilation CD with a bunch of great artists and new songs! Thumbs up ta err-body!! Let’s see how tha 1st disc ranks…

Now, time fa Disc 2! Start Time: 11:41 AM | End Time: 12:07 PM

28. Raxx Feat. Brian “The Rap Pack”
>>> Interestin’ jam, even though I don’t go for some of tha “i” lyrics… Sometimes, I think tha lyrics aren’t for me, but that’s tha artist’s name I’m hearin’ (“Raxx”). Either way, between its good lyrics and tha beat, I’m likin’ it, minus tha money rhymes! My Rating: 4.0

29. Lucci Lu Feat. Lil’ Wayne “Wit A Lil’ Bit Of Money”
>>> Sounds gay wit tha background sample; why iz this mainstream shit here? My Rating: 2.4

30. Southn Belle “I Want It”
My Current Rating: 4.3

31. Dino Danja Feat. Dhat Fam & Yung Sicka “Gadget”
>>> Sounds good; I like how it sounds like an old dinosaur/skull-type beat background, like it was The Flintstones or somethin’. Good job wit tha collaboration, too. Some of tha lyrics are kinda cocky, but whateva. My Rating: 4.2

32. Bro-Bro Feat. Sam I Am “Cup Up”
>>> Some of these songs look familiar, but I guess not… I hate these cocky lyrics, but tha Big Josh beat, along wit Sam I Am collaboratin’, sounds good… My Rating: 4.2

33. Down Bad Feat. Quikkdraw “Murda Capital”
Missing tha “tal” in “Capi”? >>> Yea, tha letters are missin’; why? Tha beat sounds pretty tight and continuous, along wit Down Bad goin’ off, non-stop! As good as things are soundin’ wit Down Bad, here comes anotha unlisted feature: Quikkdraw! Why wasn’t he listed on tha feature? Such consistentness he’s bringin’ to tha table, here; gotta luv it!! My Rating: 4.6

34. Hatch Boy & Foxx “My Head Fucked Up”
>>> What I expected; good shit wit nothin’ ta really say… Matta fact, good collaboration ‘cause Foxx always tears shit up! My Rating: 4.2

35. Big Wayne Feat. DJ B-Real “Same Ol’ Shit”
Looks like my IDin’, only done your way? *Checks previous reviews* Yup! My Current Rating: 4.3

36. Young Ready Feat. Squad Life “Stomp”
>>> G-Motivation beat. Sounds familiar; I like tha “stomp” (ed?) attitude. Why does it sound like Level randomly appears in tha song? As always, it sounds good wit Young Ready on tha mic… Them Squad Life dudes sound fast; a lil’ confusing, at first, wit tha fastness, but it sounds like some good, street shit. My Rating: 4.4

37. Ray Vicks Feat. Locco & 38 Slimm “Road 2 Riches”
>>> Nice hook from Locco; he can sing his lil’ heart out and it works! Once again, more trap shit from Ray Vicks; nothin’ else ta say… My Rating: 4.2

38. Ray Vicks Feat. Squirm G “Doin’ 2 Much”
>>> Again, sounds good; nothin’ else ta say… My Rating: 4.1

39. Fee Feat. Ray Vicks “Restless”
Again, Ray Vicks? >>> Tha other two songs were betta; I don’t see anything grabbin’ me outta this joint… But, I guess it’s good for tha streets, once again? My Rating: 3.8

40. Hey Daem Feat. Dylan Cage & Ray Vicks “Be Like That Sometimes”
>>> Nothin’ new wit tha hook; boring… Ehh, not into tha flow, either; why 2010s rap?!? My Rating: 3.0

¾time: I liked tha 1st ½ of tha 1st disc betta… However, a 4.0-rated 2nd disc, so far…

41. Level Feat. Big Poppa “Wassam Wit Dat”
>>> Catchy, with good production. Sounds like a hot anthem; can’t deny Level, sometimes! Big Poppa ain’t too bad, either, wit how he comes through wit his catchiness… My Rating: 4.3

42. Coppertop Feat. Mouse On Tha Track & Bonka “Fresh Out The Box”
>>> X-Fyle doin’ tha beat… Sounds like a regular song; nothin’ really much ta say about this, except that it’s a good collaboration… Mouse and his undeniable voice… Bonka sounds good, too… My Rating: 4.0

43. Keedey Black “Rock My World”
>>> Ooh, some Blaq N Mild flava! Oh, iz this gonna remind me of Flipset Fred’s “Waistline”, tha 2012 female version? Sounds hot all tha way ‘round, except tha MJ sample; please, let him R.I.P.! He ain’t Louisiana!! He ain’t Louisiana!!! Go, Keedy Black!! Nothin’ but consistency, here; can’t deny tha sample now!! How?! My Rating: 4.6

45. Wochee “Gonzo”
>>> Even though I doubt him, he’s soundin’ good on this beat. Some of tha lyrics are boring, but tha beat helps him make this sound good… My Rating: 3.9

46. Netwurk Da Breadwinna Feat. Lil’ Mike “Bankroll Shawty”
Not lookin’ forward ta this title… >>> Yea, boring; why can’t people get past tha technology lyrics? Or, money? Money’s tha worst disease! It’s like, if you flash money, it’s like flashin’ dildos!! My Rating: 2.8

47. L.C. Feat. Delwin The Krazyman “Small”
Hope this takes less than 30 seconds to review! >>> Thank God for Fiona Apple and her hotness for bein’ on VH1 right now ‘cause it’s nice and distractin’ from one of tha dudes on here!! Can’t comment, but I have ta say that this iz okay; tha beat helps… My Rating: 4.0

48. Rudye Feat. The Hallows “I Do It”
>>> So short; J Fletcha’s rappin’, here (part of The Hallows?). Sounds good, but can we get some Rudye? Barely heard him on this; disappointin’, but an okay song, overall… My Rating: 3.7

49. J-Hustle Feat. Supa “Stompin’ On Roaches”
Same here! Hope this takes 30 or less seconds to review! >>> Huh? Where’s tha Johnny Hustle? Don’t make me feel uncomfortable! Fuck! And, a-tune over me on tha feature? Gay as fuck!! *Skips* My Rating: 1.0

50. Puppy “Freak Hoes”
>>> Good beat; boring topic; boring flow; barely decent for a song. My Rating: 2.6

51. Max Minelli Feat. Mista Cain “Point ‘Em Out”
>>> Anotha good beat; Max seems ta repetitvely show tha crowd what he’s got… Tha collaboration iz okay; iz it me or does Mista always act older than his age? Was he drinkin’ before 21? My Rating: 4.1

52. Lil’ Boxx “U Know What Time It Iss”
Finally, a new song from him! >>> EQ beat. I like how finally, we have a great artist and tha length’s long, tha way it should be fa Boxx! Sounds catchy wit this title always comin’ up… Nice and consistent wit his rhymes—not tha rhymes! It’s his rhymes! We learn about Boxx! My Rating: 4.3

53. Lil’ One The Champ “Questionnaire”
Why him? He doesn’t know how ta send people CDs in tha mail, smh! >>> Not likin’ tha beginning or tha beat; tha rappin’s good, though, but tha song ain’t for me, overall. My Rating: 3.5

Overall: Seemed like a good portion of tha 3rd ¼ wasn’t as good as some of tha rest of this CD… Also, there were some uncomfortable features; too bad 5150 doesn’t fall for anything! Oh wait, he sees people in person; why would anyone hate ‘em? People hate me ‘cause they don’t understand me; stupid fuckerz!!
