R.I.P. Video #35: Disco a.k.a. Loverboy (Flippa Boyz)

Recorded June 26, 2014, but released on July 6, 2014, in honor of Disco's birthday.

Broadcasting from tha abandoned Kings Park Psychiatric Center in Kings Park, NY, it's FrankieThaLuckyDog here, reportin' anotha tragic loss in tha undaground, Louisiana rap community. Dzandirian Tasker, known by his stage name Disco, or Loverboy, as a part of tha Gardere Lane rap group, tha Flippa Boyz, passed away in his sleep during tha morning of Thursday, June 26, 2014. Disco had been stabbed, and later shot multiple times, throughout tha past few years, becomin' a paraplegic. Today, Sunday, July 6, 2014, Disco would've celebrated his 34th birthday.

Tha label was originally known as just Go Get It Music, but had added tha "New" to it, to prevent confusion with Baton Rouge native, Barber Shop Black's label, that features tha Ville Boyz, and which was founded on March 6, 2006. Disco made a name throughout tha G-Lane area of Baton Rouge as a part of tha Flippa Boyz, with tha likes of Sims, Killa Sounz, Yung Yola, Beezy Bird, Needy Nee, Gee Gee (Gutta Gangsta) & Slim Pistol. He was featured on Black Noise Records' G-Lane Vol. 1 mixtape, in 2008, hosted by DJ Chilly Chill; featured on Supa (Macked Out)'s It's Retarded mixtape, in 2010; and, featured on Black Noise Records' The Big Picture CD, in 2013.

Review #1,393: FrankieThaLuckyDog Presents "Tha Louisiana Archives Vol. 17: Tha Survivor’s Cave (Hosted by FrankieThaLuckyDog)"

Reviewed on 3.22.2014 (Review #1,393)

A couple reviewz ta do, right now… First up, it’s FrankieThaLuckyDog Presents Tha Louisiana Archives Vol. 17: Tha Survivor’s Cave (Hosted by FrankieThaLuckyDog)! Thank God that I survived doin’ tha mixtape compilations, after a low self-esteem and no positions booked, tha last time. Major props to Abe Son, from Boot Click Entertainment, fa helpin’ me out! He believed in my mixtapes, after seein’ me cry over it, durin’ my 2013 Louisiana Awards. And so, here we are! I got 17 positions booked, along with Lil’ Ken helpin’ out wit a bonus, and also, I threw in a few bonus jointz! I named this mixtape compilation after visiting a cave, and for tha survival of doin’ Tha Louisiana Archives. Now, lemme review this! Just so you know, I barely have heard any of these tracks. Just ‘cause I hosted, blended, and put this all together, doesn’t mean that I listened to tha tracks! For submission, I screened about 30 seconds of each track. When blending, I usually checked tha endings/beginnings of each joint. I also scanned their BPMs, so I placed songs in various positions, accordin’ to tha BPMs. Start Time: 10:07 AM | End Time: 11:17 AM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

01. FrankieThaLuckyDog “Intro: Almost Gone, But Always Here…”
Like tha intro says, I survived! >>> I put a heartbeat in tha background, to show myself be in jeopardy, with this mixtape compilation… My Rating: N/A

02. Jiggaman “I’m The Jiggaman”
Gorillaville Records, here… Though I added this on my iTunes last month, it failed to chart on my playlist, due to DJ B-Real blocking me. Almost every Louisiana track I got around that time/had in rotation was prevented from puttin’ in work on my playlist. However, now that this iz on here, it may have a chance in tha future? We’ll see. Lemme give it a full listen, now… >>> A Modiggidy Beats beat, here, and ya gotta luv how hyped-up this iz!! Of course, pure “jiggin’” hook! And, tha 1st verse’s pretty nice, as always, wit him! I like tha questions as tha adlibs on tha hook: “Who you iz?” “Oh, fa’real?” Good shit! And, of course, tha drug-related shit ta get you in tha mood on tha 2nd verse! Like he (and I) said, “Opelousas in this bitch!” Yeah, “Jiggaman,” you “chew dem bitches up,” on tha 3rd verse; chomp, chomp! I like how I slowed it down at tha end! My Rating: 4.7

03. GT Da Boss Feat. High Risk “1000”
Hustle Hard Music Group, here; surprised this was submitted to me, all ‘cause I didn’t know GT was cool wit my boy, Abe Son. Also, I always give Skull Duggrey credit fa bein’ tha one that introduced me to tha sayin’, “1000;” he would always say it to me, when gettin’ off tha phone! My Current Rating: 4.4

04. Outlaw Muzik “Outer Space”
Outlaw Muzik in tha buildin’, here… They just dropped their debut album/mixtape, which I finna review after this mixtape of mine. Outlaw Muzik consists of Goldie, Damage & JT (f.k.a. J.T. The Creeper, or J.T. The Louisiana Boi). Tha three of them spent their time on Real Profit Entertainment, but are now with Outlaw Muzik, courtesy of Dernishia, who’s a great vice president and manager! Now, I screened this previously, and it was a great first listen! Now, lemme give it tha review! >>> Beat sounds nice, and a nice hook, here; all about bein’ “outer space,” just like myself, when it comes to havin’ Asperger’s! Nice background vocal from JT wit tha start of tha 1st verse, though this Goldie on tha 1st verse? Consistent, great vibe fa this mixtape! Catchy shit from Damage on tha 2nd verse, here; always dig his voice and how he comes through wit it! He failed to submit somethin’ ta me three issues ago, but at least Outlaw Muzik’s here ta help out! Yup, I got tha voices right, as JT’s on tha 3rd verse, here; good shit! “Invade ya!” “Get ya ass abducted!” Really killin’ niggaz, here, wit his “spaceship!” I like how I fixed tha cut-off ending by slowin’ tha last “spaceship” down! My Rating: 4.6

05. Lit’Mark Feat. Lil’ Handy “Evil Look”
A Guerrilla Squad Entertainment presentation, here… This, I know iz good, so I’m lookin’ forward to peepin’ it out! >>> Taken from Lil’ Handy’s “Cut The Lights On” joint, which it sounds nice as a hook sample! Plus, this beat’s a lil’ bit of a remake of that beat! Wow @ tha 1st verse from Lit’Mark: Definitely feelin’ tha jammin’, jiggin’-like vibe!! Crazy shit from Baton Rouge; jammin’-ass shit!! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too; crazy, consistent, great-paced flow!! “Ghost Town” in tha buildin’, too? Nice!! Sounds like my boy, Yung Yola, on tha 2nd verse wit tha “err-body ___” shit, like his latest song, “Everybody Thuggin’”! Real-great 1st listen fa me, here!! My Rating: 4.8

06. Big Dre “Baton Vietnam”
He’s got newer music out, but I liked this particular track. Slauter House Entertainment in tha buildin’, here, and I got into Big Dre after seein’ Calie Frankz post a pic of him on Instagram that it was his birthday. I followed him, and became more of a fan from tha amount of “shittin’ pics” he had; he a shitaholic, and I love it, lol! So, this got added, but failed to chart on my playlist ‘cause of tha B-Real-blocking that went on. But, it’s here, and lemme give it my review! >>> A lil’ slower vibe, here, fa tha intro, but ya gotta feel tha street shit he spittin’! Nice real rhymes from Dre on tha 1st verse, here. I like how he says tha hook part at tha end of tha 1st verse, and then, gets screwed on tha hook; nice combo! Tha 2nd verse’s pretty nice, too; good shit! He sounds a lil’ bit like $hizz, wit tha voice… My Rating: 4.5

07. Shakeback King “On My Shit”
Sponsored by Bread Truck Records! I know this iz a real catchy one—prolly, tha best one Abe Son sent me! Lookin’ forward to tha official, full first listen! >>> A Piper beat, here; didn’t recognize tha beat when I was blendin’ this together! But, I’m feelin’ tha hook a lot! I like that line a lot: “Mane, I’m on my shit, I think I need a pamper on me!” Damn, that “shit” smell’s strong! Wonder if he got shittin’ pics? Neva saw a pic of this dude, also… Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice; consistent, Baton Rouge-like flow that I luv! See, no Rick Ross/mainstream-like flows on my mixtapes!! Tha 2nd verse’s nice; nice “suckin’,” sex scene-like lyrics, mixed wit tha streetz, lol! I feel like “I’m on my shit” ‘cause of all tha business I’m doin’, outta nowhere, as well as gettin’ a job! And wow, tha beat changed up a lil’ bit, durin’ tha 3rd verse! Nice, hypnotic sounds fa tha 1st ½ of tha 3rd verse! LOL @ me on tha outro: “Pamper-smellin’ joint!” My Rating: 4.7

08. Geronimo Feat. Young Biz “What It’s Hitting Foe”
A Town Bound Entertainment presentation, here… Like I say on tha intro, “Tha next Gates?” Literally, when Abe sent me this, I had no idea who it was (‘cause of tha not-labeled file), and I was like, “I dunno if I can put Gates on here ‘cause he mainstream.” However, it’s this dude, Geronimo, and here I go wit tha review!! >>> Surprised that most of these jointz on this mixtape are less than three minutes long! Anyway, beat sounds nice, here, and it’s a “lean epidemic” on tha 1st verse, wit this Gates dude! He even said, “Feelin’ some type of way,” like it was Gates freestylin’ ova Rich Homie Quan! Tha hook’s pretty catchy, too; diggin’ tha title part… Tha 2nd verse from Young Biz’s pretty hood; I’m definitely diggin’ his voice! Pretty much like a Baton Rouge hyena!! Beat’s a lil’ plain, at times, but there’s some good sounds that keeps it on-n-poppin’! My Rating: 4.5

09. B-Teze Feat. Gutta & Lil’ Chris “Get ‘Em”
Souljamade Entertainment in tha buildin’ wit this one! B-Teze sent me his two tracks tha very last minute, and I held off wit mixin’ this tape together ‘til I got “‘em!” I didn’t even screen ‘em ‘cause I know he always comes through wit tha tracks, and I don’t have to worry ‘bout nothin’! >>> “K-Bone” as tha producer? Feelin’ this undaground, hidden treasure-like Ghost Town music, lol! Nice 1st verse, here; pretty gutta, right? Dude even got “Souljamade Entertainment tatted on [his] sleeve!” A grimy B-Teze voice before tha 2nd verse’s here; pretty serious wit them gunshots in tha background! And, tha 2nd verse’s pretty serious, too, from Mr. Teze! His throat must be so sore afta recording!! LOL @ “most niggaz where I’m from, like cigarettes, get smoked,” or whateva that line was; pretty serious! Tha 3rd verse’s pretty nice, too! No need fa a hook, here; just some tight, 225/Baton Rouge/Ghosttown verses!! My Rating: 4.7

10. Young MoMo “Deadwrong”
From tha Baton Rouge Bandits label, here… I forgot how this went, but I think it’s good; lemme hear… >>> Sounds like a cartoon sample wit tha, “Bang, bang! Bang, bang!,” in tha background; catchy! Bugs Bunny, anyone, lol? Tha hook’s pretty nice wit this pure-soundin’ street beat! “Shoot you up like heron;” scary! I only say that ‘cause I lost a 30-year-old cousin ta that! Tha 1st verse’s good; rhymes ain’t too bad, here, but at least tha flow’s on! I like tha “dirty city in tha dirty south” start ta tha 2nd verse, here… Ooh, “some new Girbauds;” glad he fuckin’ wit them ‘Bauds!! I always wear ‘em, and am still on tha hunt fa ‘em! Also, “225” in tha buildin’, here! Tha 2nd verse sounds much betta fa me, here!! I’m feelin’ this much more than I thought! I made it end pretty nice, too! My Rating: 4.6

11. Killa Sounz “Junk”
New Go Get It Music in tha buildin’! Got Killa Sounz on my IG, and he even shittin’! Caught my attention, and he even submitted to tha mixtape, due to us connecting! Legendary producer in tha undaground of Baton Rouge who’s produced for Yung Yola, and’s a part of tha Flippa Boyz! This joint’s not even two minutes long, but it’s a banga! Lemme give it tha full first listen! >>> Nice transition from tha ending of tha previous joint ta this quiet beat start! Sounds pretty nice, includin’ this bein’ an “ass” anthem! Almost sounds like Sims coulda had this joint… Tha only verse on this joint (I guess ‘cause it was sent to me as a snippet), and it’s nice; beat’s kinda plain, but its simpleness iz catchy, so that’s all that matters, here! Random guitar at 1:32, lol? I like tha ending, too! And, I have an outro, too… “Keep openin’ dat asshole up of yours, and keep shittin’ on dem bitch-ass haterz out there, who can’t handle your ones!” My Rating: 4.4

½time: Pretty mint, so far; definitely diggin’ it!! So far, this review’s worth a 4.6 fa me!! Really luvin’ all tha sent material, as I barely heard most of tha artists or jointz!! Abe Son really did a nice job helpin’ me out, and these artists are definitely what’s poppin’, fa me!! No depressin’, boring, jigg-hatin’ people, here!!

12. Mike Guy The Truth & FrankieThaLuckyDog “Just Chill”
A collaboration right chea, between Armed & Ready Entertainment, as well as my label, Lucky Dogz Entertainment! Mike Guy, outta Saint Joseph, LA, hit me up on Facebook, and wrote a track for me. However, because tha original lyrics were not all my personal rappin’ style, I had asked that we make this a collaboration, and that I’m featured. It turned out that I switched some of my lyrics, added my own lyrics on his verse, and even wound up producing and puttin’ it together, myself. I’ve heard it a few times, already, and, Mike did his verse on his phone; I like his voice a lot, when it comes ta rappin’! Gotta luv my added parts; tried ta come vicious, fillin’ in some parts! Because of tha constant, cold weather, I decided to make my parts about it bein’ cold out. And, tha “abandoned dungeon,” I’m referrin’ to Kings Park Psychiatric Center, which iz “abandoned!” Check out some pics (click each one to make it bigger):

As far as me on tha 2nd verse, it’s whateva; I didn’t write tha whole thang, so I couldn’t really express extra shit. At least I had tha 1st verse ta do some of dat! “Autistic to tha bone; no clone in what I do!” I hope to get that “2nd album” goin’, and when I say, “R.I.P. ta no one,” I’m referrin’ ta me neva losin’ anyone outside of tha family that I knew. Of course, that means, “My land ain’t die, like erosion;” “erosion”’s when people ruin land, and it changes its look… “I only bathe in tha frozen;” I hate this cold-ass weather!! My Current Rating: 4.7

13. $hop With Ken, YB & Scotty Cain Feat. Lil’ Boosie “Murder Crew (Remix)”
F.Y.N.I.C.—Forever Young Entertainment, here… I have tha original version on my playlist, which I only added ‘cause Ken’s rappin’ on it. I neva thought it would go further than that, but it did. However, I spiced it up on this mixtape and added tha remix. I dunno if it’s considered an official original version, or a remix, but I consider it both, at times. My Current Rating: 4.6

14. BluBlack Feat. Hannibal & Ar’Jay “Don’t F.W.M.”
Black Noise Records, here… Tha 3rd failed-to-enter-my-playlist-add-when-B-Real-blocked-me joint to appear on this mixtape… Though I’m glad it got submitted onto here, I don’t think it’s one of tha more exciting ones on this mixtape. Here goes my full review for it… >>> No offense, but I don’t like that voice on tha hook; sorry, Ar’Jay. Kinda awkward and sounds like it’s yearnin’ fa somethin’, ova a “Don’t Fuck With Me” title… Anyway, Hannibal on tha 1st verse, and at least there’s a good flow, here; good shit fa tha “Lane!” Beat’s okay, here, too; not much happenin’, at times… Thought that was Ar’Jay on tha 2nd verse? Maybe, it iz; wow, I’m so lost… However, I like how tha beat reversed at 1:46! Pretty catchy, or wait, Blu, iz that you? Can’t believe I’m confused, even though I put this on YouTube… Neva mind, it was Blu; sounds nice and morphed wit my pitch increase, here… Ar’Jay singin’ on tha bridge, here, afta tha 3rd hook… Kinda random, though it’s like, ehh, not really tha kinda voice fa this track. I liked tha whole The Big Picture CD betta than this joint, pretty much. Their new CD, FUPM, iz comin’ soon! My Rating: 3.7

15. Geronimo “Nothing 2 Lose”
Here’s tha 1st repeat artist; let’s see what this one sounds like, again… >>> This sounds nice wit tha Gates voice! Nice, good shit on tha 1st verse! “Stay your ground!” “I ain’t got nothin’ ta lose; all I got iz my word and my guide!” You already know, Geronimo! Definitely see a future in this dude!! Tha 2nd verse’s pretty good, too! “They lyin’ through they teeth; I’m a lion through tha beat,” or whateva, was definitely a nice line!! Gutta shit at its finest, fa tha streetz, here!! My Rating: 4.7

16. Spyda “By All Means”
An unsigned artist from Donaldsonville… >>> An okay start, here… Lyrics just sound like consistent rhymes, though they’re not special, fa me. A lil’ bit on tha mainstream tip, at times… Tha hook’s okay; here, we hear “swag,” for tha 1st time, on this mixtape; ehh… Tha 2nd verse’s okay, too; needs to be a lil’ catchier, but of course, it qualifies fa this mixtape, so it’s not terrible, ya dig? My Rating: 3.6

17. Hue Green “Like U Want Me”
Boot Click Entertainment, here… I remember blendin’ this together, and I have a feelin’ that this gon be my least-favorite track on this mixtape… >>> Yea, this repetitive hook and this beat ain’t that excitin’, fa me… Tha 1st verse’s whateva; more for tha ladies, here, but I’m not really feelin’ tha lyrics… I guess, tha good thing about gettin’ paid to be on here iz that there’s no bad memories; I won’t regret this! Wow @ tha 2nd verse’s start: “Lemme eat you like some seafood;” ouch! LOL! And, anotha “J. Holiday” reference; heard that dude be referenced in a previous review I did, not too long ago. However, that was for his “Bed”; this song has “Suffocate”, lol… My Rating: 3.2 (lowest-rated Tha Louisiana Archives song entry, eva? Unless I had a freestyle or somethin’, instead…? No offense…)

18. GT Da Boss “The Other Side”
A lil’ slower… GT doin’ a multi-personality job, here, between tha rappin’ and tha singin’… My Current Rating: 3.8

19. Lit’Mark Feat. Cee-Jay “Been Up, Been Down”
>>> This tha Young Hustla-produced track; couldn’t even remember it, at first… Either way, nice beat, and this anotha song about strugglin’, accordin’ to tha hook; at least tha beat’s pretty tight, this time… Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice; I’m feelin’ tha flow, once again; Lit’Mark really doin’ his thang!! Hope he stays active, especially wit me! So, Cee-Jay’s rappin’ on tha 2nd verse, here? I thought he was tha singer… Anyway, this ain’t too bad; regular rappin’ fa me, here… My Rating: 3.9

20. B-Teze Feat. Lil’ Jeff, Gutta & Noonie “Cuttin’ Up”
Lookin’ forward, once again; Ghosttown in tha buildin’! >>> I fixed tha volumes up, but this one averaged out to a quieter volume… Anyway, catchy hook; Baton Rouge’s hood at its finest!! Luv tha jigg vibe, too! Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice, too! “Souljamade” in tha buildin’, of course! Consistent, Ville Boyz-like 1st verse, here, and you gotta feel it! You can’t stop “rollin’” or reppin’ tha hood fa this “Ghosttown” anthem! Tha 2nd verse’s pretty gutta, here; really feelin’ tha voice!! “Got it tatted on my stomach;” what a representa fa “Souljamade,” here! Gotta feel it!! This tha kinda shit I luv; can’t deny it, and they neva come through soft, on this! No dickridin’, overrated Cain people, here!! Tha 3rd verse’s pretty nice, here; such greatness!! I don’t know who’s who on this, but you already know that a semi-blind review like this definitely passes, fa me!! Nice endin’ from me, wit that slowed shit! My Rating: 4.7

21. Outlaw Muzik “I Get Off”
Can’t wait to get to their whole CD, later! >>> Sounds nice wit Damage on tha hook! Good shit from Damage on tha 1st verse, here; keep tha rhymes and that Baton Rouge voice comin’! Quality at its finest, fa tha undaground, here!! JT’s on tha 2nd verse, and it’s pretty nice! Talk about a team, here; glad they’re on Outlaw Muzik, doin’ tha damn thang! “Carterboifresh,” like on Facebook, or should I spell it out like, “Carter Boi Fresh,” here, so it’s searchable? Either way, nice job, y’all! Got some Goldie on tha 3rd verse, and wow, where’d all those consistent rhymes come from?! Really diggin’ this fast vibe, lol!! Even, “Peek-a-boo, I see you?” Sounds tight on this kinda shit, lol! My Rating: 4.6

22. Shakeback King “My Feelings”
Endin’ it wit this… Lemme see which side this falls on, fa me; good or sappy? >>> Yea, just like my outro says, I hope I get some people to submit fa tha next one, too, and tha future editions! Nice voice, here; kinda Soulja Slim-like, and I only say that ‘cause, I think if I remember right, tha hook has a Slim sample? Oh yea, tha hook’s pretty nice; sounds like some future-classic-like Soulja Slim shit! Tha voice’s definitely like his, and it’s great for tha hood! Tha beat also sounds like it samples somethin’… Tha 2nd verse’s good, too; tha “streets” definitely have ta appreciate this! Damn @ “a nigga stole my car;” that’s rough! “Now, look at ya gun, and think about it;” streetacular…! A 3rd verse, here… Yea, “some soulja shit;” goes wit Soulja Slim! He shouted out “Bread Truck,” too, here, so he representin’ fa his label! A semi-soundin’, Phil Collins “In The Air Tonight”-like shit at tha end, wit tha, “I can feel it…” My Rating: 4.5

Overall: Damn, this CD’s over? I thought it neva was gonna end! Just great how I put it together, and tha jointz were definitely nice, here! Lots of great new artists fa me ta look forward to, and tha only place you gon continue ta hear them iz with me! Yea, until they, wheneva, release any debut albums/mixtapes! Let’s make Vol. 18 anotha success! This will go down as one of my favorite releases from me!

Review #967: A+B+C (A.R., BluBlack & Classik) "A+B+C = Da Formula (Hosted by DJ Chilly Chill)"

Reviewed on 6.05.2011 (Review #967)

This next review I got iz somethin’ dat I’ve been waitin’ ta get my hands on for a while… A+B+C (A.R., BluBlack & Classik) “A+B+C = Da Formula (Hosted by DJ Chilly Chill); you already know what it iz wit dis one!! It’s kinda weird dat I haven’t did a BluBlack CD review since January 2009; why so long of a wait? Start Time: 11:23 PM | End Time: 12:13 AM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Intro”
Secret’s tha producer? LOL, I thought this whole thing would be produced by BluBlack, lol! >>> Hosted by DJ Chilly Chill, here? Oh, even some rappin’ goin’ on, here! Go, A.R., lol! Tha beat sounds real catchy, especially wit this cartoon/suspense-type shit! LOL, I like how this iz in alphabetical order, as well as err-body havin’ a screwed voice! “All tha hoes on me ‘cause I smell like wine;” sounds like a thumbs down fa me wit dat line… Either way, good job ta hear Blu! Classik, tha “C,” iz on tha 3rd verse and doin’ his thang, too! Thumbs up fa tha freestylin’-soundin’ “intro”!! My Rating: 4.6

02. “Dip”
BluBlack’s producin’ on here; I’ve always liked this joint, especially tha catchiness wit tha “dip” hook, lol. Y’all do a nice job on here, especially A.R. wit tha “this iz my house;” I did a lil’ taunt on my radio show when I aired this about tha “this iz my house” part, lol! My Current Rating: 4.6

03. “Kimbo Slice”
This was one dat was aight, at first, but then became pretty catchy once I started playin’ it more last Fall; good, catchy joint, once again, produced by BluBlack! My Current Rating: 4.4

04. “Top Notch” Feat. Level
D. Jackson doin’ tha beat, here; will it have a BluBlack feel? >>> Definitely sounds like it, 100, regardless of who’s producin’! Sounds like a pretty catchy hook; thought it would be on Boosie’s level fa a second, lol. Of course, Level comin’ through wit tha cocky-type rhymes in tha 1st verse dat sound good, as always. LOL, Blu’s on tha 2nd verse, too, comin’ through wit good street/225-type shit. LOL, “how’d you get in? I jumped,” ROFL! Definitely an entertainin’ verse from Blu, once again!! Glad we’re on tha A – A+ level, here! I picture just Blu on this but you know others had ta be on dis! A.R.’s on tha 2nd verse and it sounds good; he knows how ta handle a beat, especially if his boy iz on tha beat (D. Jackson)! LOL, no room fa Classik, here; very Classikless fa a classic-soundin’ song, lol! My Rating: 4.7

05. “Dumb”
LOL, J Buc on tha beat? One of tha last conversations I had wit him in 2010 was me sayin’, “you and Blu sound like a combo,” and he said, “I only talked ta him like twice.” Which, by tha way, I was ‘pose ta ask Blu tha question of, “how much you talk/work wit J Buc,” but I didn’t remember and tha conversation ended, lol. Tha beat sounds pretty nice, here; I like how it’s more quiet than completely energetic. I’m feelin’ how Classik ‘n’ Blu’s comin’ through on tha hook; definitely nice. Tha 1st verse iz Classik and he sounds pretty good; not bad… Blu’s on tha 2nd verse and he’s comin’ through wit mo hot shit; gangsta shit vs. dat entertainin’ shit! A.R. sounds pretty catchy on this 3rd verse; thumbs up fa bein’ a part of dis project! My Rating: 4.4

06. “Who Dat Iz”
Ooh, Sims on tha beat; let’s see tha follow-up to tha “Like Ooww” dayz!! >>> Yea, this sounds like a good-soundin’ sequel!! Really feelin’ this beat, especially tha title repeatin’ like crazy on tha hook from A & B, lol! Soundin’ hella catchy on tha 1st verse, Blu; sounds like an actual album in tha stores—like, durin’ tha dayz when I would buy albums and luv hearin’ ‘em for tha 1st time!! Once again, Blu came through wit an A+-soundin’ verse fa tha entertainin’ ears of mine! A’s on tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ great, once again! Huh, a censored “bitch”? Why are there censored words (just like in “Kimbo Slice”) when there’s explicit words? Ooh, Classik’s pretty hyped-up for tha 3rd verse!! LOL, definite thumbs up!! I can picture him havin’ sweat drippin’ from his face based off dis studio anger, lol! Once again, thumbs down ta dis stupid, random censorin’ comin’ outta nowhere… My Rating: 4.7

07. “Da Formula’s Next”
Keepin’ tha consistent production goin’ wit Killa Sounz on tha beat!! >>> Beat’s nothin’ too special for a start; don’t think it mixes too well in “da formula”, especially wit a stupid voice in tha background. However, tha hook’s pretty good wit how y’all comin’ through on it… Classik’s on tha 1st verse and damn, what a transition from angry ta soft…; rhymes are aight but lol @ how tha attitude transitioned. Now, we’re goin’ backwards wit tha letters for tha verses, as it was C, and now, B, lol. At least Blu’s comin’ through wit some entertainment fa me; gotta feel it! It makes this beat sound normal, thanx ta his catchiness! Let’s see what A.R. gon bring ta tha table fa tha 3rd verse… Sounds like it could be an average song if it was just him. However, he’s comin’ through wit ¾’s of Classik’s attitude from tha last song, soundin’ good! My Rating: 4.2

08. “Neva Hit”
Now, we got X-Fyle on tha beat, here, keepin’ it goin’! >>> Naw, not anotha one of these same-soundin’ beats!! Mix it up a lil’; have this toward tha end or somethin’, not back-to-back… A.R.’s on tha 1st verse and it’s barely on an average/good level wit some of these lyrics; only okay for me… Not even close ta a Blu/A+B+C sound! Classik’s on tha 2nd verse and it’s okay/not too special fa me… Blu’s on tha 3rd verse and at least there’s some entertaininment, here; prolly would’ve been betta if he was only on dis but this iz still a disappointment. My Rating: 3.6

09. “Doin’ My Thang”
D. Jackson on tha beat; can we revive? >>> Beat sounds aight; sounds like I’m expectin’ somethin’ mainstream, here… A.R.’s on tha intro and he’s introducin’ Classik; Classik’s on tha hook and it sounds like it could be real catchy… Well, I think this iz tha catchiest Classik’s eva been; shinin’ hard on tha hook and tha 1st verse, too, wit dis beat! A.R.’s on tha 2nd verse and lol, “dreads got long;” gotta have a jungle feel, lol? I guess not… Blu’s on tha 3rd verse and this iz soundin’ good; gotta feel his entertainin’ flow! My Rating: 4.5

½time: A 4.4-rated CD, currently; y’all definitely havin’ shit on lock!! Glad I’m hearin’ a very high-soundin’ quality CD, once again!! In Your Earhole Recordings in tha buildin’!!

10. “Shake Back”
B Eazy doin’ this beat… Oh, so B Eazy iz tha Lil’ Doonie/K-9 “Yo Swagger” producer? Glad I know his name, now! Good hook from A.R.; sounds like it’s an okay song, currently… Blu’s on tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ like a good verse; nice rhymes! Time fa dis 2nd verse… lol, A.R., here, spittin’ catchy rhymes like Blu! It sounds like tha beat’s hotter? Good shit! Classik’s comin’ through on tha 3rd verse and yes, he’s got his attitude back, lol! My Rating: 4.3

11. “Block Nigga”
Looks like a strong title; hope it iz wit J Buc on tha beat! >>> LOL, “Millionaire Minds Entertainment”-type shit goin’ on in tha intro, here! Tha vibe iz definitely here; yes, I’m feelin’ it! Tha hook sounds hot wit how Blu’s comin’ through fa tha “block!” Ooh, rapidness on tha 1st verse; this iz definitely tha type of shit I’d expect!! LOL, “show dem titties;” nice and in$tant!!! “___ ___ down like crawfish,” lol? Did I hear right? Gotta luv tha “fish,” lol! Lots of “fuck tha cops” shit, here, lol! LOL, A.R.less, here, since Classik’s on tha 2nd verse and we’re runnin’ outta length, lol! I’m glad he has tha attitude, here; definitely somethin’ I can feel to tha max!!! My Rating: 4.9

12. “Go Off”
Produced by Killa Sounz, again. >>> Startin’ off wit A.R., here; sounds like a catchy intro, nearly on a “Dip”-soundin’ flow. LOL, beat’s soundin’ quiet? Tha hook sounds a lil’ betta; likin’ tha A.R.-soundin’ catchiness. Will Blu be on tha 2nd verse? LOL, it iz him; ROFL, let’s see his “ass,” lol! It’s a BluBlack command, right now, lol! Definitely glad he’s still got his entertainment together, no matter how many times I have ta say dat E-word, lol! What will Classik offer on here? Good-soundin’ rhymes, although *puke* @ callin’ “Plies” a homie…; fake izn’t healthy! My Rating: 4.4

13. “All Da Time”
Finally, which I was predictin’, a BluBlack-produced track!! >>> LOL, different tag in tha beginning? Nice… Good, anticipatin’ intro from A.R., here! Ooh, Blu’s on tha hook and it’s soundin’ catchy! ROFL, let’s go tha extra mile and “dick [her] all tha time!” Gotta luv tha catchiness, X-rated style!! LOL, A.R.’s comin’ through on tha 1st verse in a more-sexual way, A.R. style! Don’t think I heard him go this route wit sex; interestin’! Blu, you’re on tha 2nd verse and why, why can’t you “dick [her] all tha time”? What’s stoppin’ it? Anyway, thumbs up fa more of dat good shit; gotta take interest in every rhyme he spits! LOL, what does tha big Classik have ta say on tha 3rd verse? I was expectin’ a lil’ more descriptive, sex-type lyrics but this iz aight… My Rating: 4.6

14. “Peepin’” Feat. Ms. 2 Much
Anotha X-Fyle beat and a resurrected feature; lemme see if I can be nice wit this feature comin’ back after over two years… >>> Beat ain’t for me and A.R.’s aight wit how he comin’ through on tha 1st verse… SMH @ tha “kiss me through tha phone” shit; this must be ’09. LOL, iz dat—oh neva mind, it’s Classik, randomly talkin’; thought it was Chilly Chill or Big Jay, lol. Okay, Ms. 2 Much’s on tha hook and it’s good; good sound but not really for this CD, in my opinion. I don’t like how songs like this are much longer than typical songs; should be only three minutes max… Classik’s on tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ decent; nothin’ too special ‘bout dis song fa me and it’s ironic dat tha hook’s tha only part I didn’t knock down, lol. What does Blu have ta say on somethin’ like this? Glad there’s entertainin’ rhymes, again. LOL, speakin’ of “if Steve or Chill call…,” next Sunday’ll mark one year since you planned ta try ta get me ta come ta Louisiana! Too bad it didn’t work out but I’m tryin’; we’ll see what happens! My Rating: 3.5

15. “I Want U”
Producer iz Antwoine, here; do I know him? Name sounds a lil’ familiar (not tha spelling but tha name)… >>> Ooh, it’s a smooth track; feelin’ tha BluBlack/G-Lane-soundin’ beat sounds! Nice calm, sexual-anticipated A.R. hook/1st verse, lol! I believe this iz tha longest song on here, clockin’ at approximately 5:40? Ooh, anticipatin’ start—before tha 2nd verse—from Blu, wit dat high-soundin’ voice, lol! He’s soundin’ good, here; what more could you ask for from Blu wit this sex theme, lol?! I luv watchin’ animals have sex, especially my toads, lmfao!!! Just like VH1 wit their “40 Funniest Fails”, watchin’ animals have sex distracts you from damn-near any conversation, lol! “I found a cure fa Cancer… Wait, turtles humpin’ … Elephants are fuckin’! … Giraffe sex!” Anyway, enough of dat; Classik’s on tha 3rd verse and—oh, okay, let’s keep this descriptive-sex shit goin’, lol! I also like dat y’all mix “purp” and “purple” inta this theme, too! My Rating: 4.4

16. “Paper Baby”
Who’s Heavy (tha producer)? I have a feelin’ I gon like dis! >>> Anticipatin’ beat start! Yes, Blu’s on tha 1st verse and these rhymes are pretty catchy and consistent! Because of tha new producer, I’m really enjoyin’ this beat fa a 1st timer! Definitely some nice, new, 2010/2011 sounds!! “My dick like a torpedo;” lol, had ta throw dat in there, huh, Blu? LOL, what’s next? ‘Tha pole standin’ on tha street iz as hard as me,’ lol? I’m just playin’! A.R.’s on tha 2nd verse and I’m likin’ tha rhymes he’s bringin’; tha “tiger” part sounds good! LOL, just like VH1’s “40 Funniest Fails”, once again: There’s a gurl dancin’ to Dance/Technoish-type music, shakin’ her ass/vagina and on TV, they’re like, “I’m doin’ ze Tigah,” lol! Gotta luv it; some tight entertainment dat mixes great wit BluBlack, lol!! Classik’s on tha 3rd verse and it sounds like he’s flowin’ good on tha 3rd verse although some of tha flow’s remindin’ me of a recent song? Overall, a nice, catchy song, once again! My Rating: 4.4

17. “Can’t Fuck Wit Me”
Comin’ through wit anotha J Buc beat, here; guess y’all family? Always thought J Buc was tha next BluBlack on tha beats! >>> Yea, this iz soundin’ pretty nice on tha intro wit Blu and this tight-soundin’ beat!! I’m glad we’re on a street level, finally! LOL, sounds like some good, random rhymes, here; feelin’ ‘em! I like how you mixed some “pill” shit, here, too; fits good in a pot, ya dig? Dat’s a “formula,” lol! What does A.R. have ta offer on tha 2nd verse? LOL, some “goin’-duffy-in-dis-bitch”-type shit, here; prolly would’ve expected a lil’ betta wit tha flow/attitude… Ooh, “cop a ½ ounce o’ purp;” dumb shit, A.R.! Let’s see how this gon end wit Classik… Yes, a betta attitude, A.R.; listen ta him, lol! I like tha “Super Mario” shit; good shit! “650 on tha fit;” dat much for a hat, or am I confusin’ “fit” wit tha total for all tha clothes? If it’s tha hat, dat’s a lot of cash; I’m glad I only paid $10 for my casino hat… My Rating: 4.6

18. Outro
Endin’ it wit a BluBlack beat? >>> Ooh, sounds real nice!! Iz it gonna be a song? Thumbs up fa havin’ Chilly Chill on tha outro; I should put him in tha host on this CD, since he iz on tha intro and outro! Too bad this couldn’t be a song ‘cause tha beat’s pretty hot, vs. those few beats dat didn’t belong on here! My Rating: N/A

Overall: This iz definitely some real-hot shit!!! I’m glad y’all came through wit it and finally released this!! Even though this CD was filled wit a full plate, I’m actually—literally—hungry, right now, lol! Keep all tha hot music up; neva lose qualities and always do tha damn thang!!! Also, shout out ta Problem Child Entertainment & G-Rated Productions! I’m readin’ tha back cover, right now, also givin’ a shout out ta Disco, too! Hope he’s survivin’ from dat whole mess from Winter/Spring of last year!!

Reviewed on 7.23.2010 (Review #578)

Wakin’ up nice and early again ta do these reviewz, lol! Yesterday, I was ‘pose ta review this and tha next three CDs I finna review. But, my stupid Firefox wasn’t doin’ anything unless I moved tha mouse so tha downloads just froze and I didn’t have anymore downloads left on DatPiff yesterday. But, they’re here and here goes my 1st review for today: Monsta “Savage Since ’86 (Hosted by G-Nut). Start Time: 8:34 AM | End Time: 9:58 AM

01. “Longtime”
Lemme see how this gon start off… >>> Cool beat and it sounds like you’re startin’ off here… I don’t know tha year of this CD but I saw on tha DatPiff page dat this iz your debut CD? Tha 1st verse’s cool wit you spittin’ some good. LOL @ tha hook; it’s just random shit goin’ on. Good job wit tha 2nd verse and tha shit right afta tha verse ended! Iz this ’08 ‘cause you said, “22 years waitin’,” on tha 3rd verse? Nice job spittin’ dis shit! My Rating: 4.1

02. G-Nut Speaks
Shit, yea! Wanna hear what he got ta say. >>> He sounds cool; I like how he speakin’ on dis shit! It almost reminds me of some of dat 90’s shit wit tha skits! Hope he speaks again later on dis mixtape! My Rating: N/A

03. “Sweetest Hangover”
“Sweetie-est?” LOL, what an error… >>> Not too gay for a start here; thought it would be worse but it sounds good, “hangover” style, lol! Good rhymes here in tha 1st verse; doin’ ya thang on dis beat!! Very consistent here to tha fullest! I’m not even bored or anything! My Rating: 4.5

04. “ESPN”
Oh no, sports, lol… >>> Tha beat start this time sounds unanticipatin’… Boring beat but interestin’ rappin’ here… Should’ve been a lil’ shorter… My Rating: 3.7

05. “Savage Since ‘86” Feat. Hammer
>>> Ooh, Chopped & Screwed start!! I was hoping tha whole thing was C&S’d but this sounds good still on tha 1st verse! Tha 2nd verse sounds good too wit dis shit; holdin’ it down good! Hammer’s on tha 3rd verse and I like his “eatin’ a weddin’ cake” and “R.I.P. wit chicken plates” shit!! My Rating: 4.4

06. “Like 2 Kick It” Feat. Hott
Let’s see dis… >>> Good start. Gutta shit here in tha 1st verse! “Got dreads and golds;” dumb shit! Tha beat’s cool and so iz tha 2nd verse here, ya dig. What’s up wit tha homosexual-type background vocals in tha hook? Too bad for it ‘cause it made me decrease my rating… My Rating: 3.6

07. “Sunlight”
I dunno ‘bout dis… >>> Sounds like rain in tha beginning. Ugh, gay start… “White like stucko,” lol? A lil’ too long here… Tha rappin’s good but I can’t tolerate wit dis shit… My Rating: 2.1

08. G-Nut Speaks Again
Fuck, yea!!! >>> Holy shit, 3:47 on tha length?! Shit, yea!! G-Nut, what’s your MySpace? I couldn’t find you; get @ me! Glad it’s like a lil’ studio lil’ check-in wit y’all; good shit! Dat boy G-Nut so laidback, fulla dat shit here; I feel ya, big dawg!! My Rating: N/A

09. “3’s Up, 4’s Down” Feat. Lil’ Buck & Mutt
Lookin’ forward ta dis! You know I like when there’s a long ID on tha title and/or tha feature list! >>> Sounds like Gucci on tha hook, C&S’d; good shit here! Tha 1st verse sounds good; I like all this shit goin’ on, “aye!!!” Kids before tha hook? What were they doin’ on dis? Tha 2nd verse iz pretty gangsta here; gangsta shit! Lil’ Buck on dat street shit to tha fullest!! Mutt’s on tha 3rd verse and he sounds like Mystikal, even down to tha flow!! Good-ass shit here!! My Rating: 4.5

10. “Happy Dayz”
>>> Damn, 4:42 on tha length fa this kinda start? I hope it ain’t too disappointin’ fa me… I like how tha beat sounds like Early 2000’s/Late ‘90’s… Well, this ain’t bad at all; my anticipation was confusin’ in tha beginning. Tha 1st verse sounds pretty good wit tha rappin’. LOL, no sourced gurl singin’ on tha hook? This izn’t too bad either so this iz like a pass for me. Tha 2nd verse sounds like tha shit’s keepin’ up… More shit comin’ from tha 3rd verse too… My Rating: 3.8

½time: This iz soundin’ good so far; 3.8 average CD rating currently.

11. “Rollin’ Like A Bike” Feat. D-So & Sam I Am
Whoa, ANTICIPATION HERE!!! >>> 5:00 FLAT on tha length too!! Tell me this hook gon have like a Hurricane Chris sample… Off to a slow start… No Hurricane sample but a REAL TIGHT beginning here!!! Even a shout out ta “Disco;” good shit! It’s all about dat Lane! A “Lil’ Yella” shout out too? Good shit! Definitely a tight 1st verse and tha hook sounds real catchy; REALLY can’t wait ta hear tha features!!! Dat big dawg D-So on tha 2nd verse and he sounds REAL GR8 here!!! Luvin’ this, as it’s DEFINITELY NOT disappointin’ me!! DEFINITELY a GR8 verse there; gotta get dis on my radio show hopefully soon!! Now, tha biggest dawg, Sam I Am, comin’ up on tha 3rd—LOL @ his “I’m rollin’” beginning!! DEFINITELY a good verse from Sam, just ALWAYS comin’ through wit a REAL GR8 perspective on tha tracks!!! My Rating: 4.9

12. “Mo Gangsta” Feat. Lt. 00
Ooh, for my gurl Robin: “00;” lol!!! How odd ta have “00” in yo name; REALLY lookin’ forward ta dis too!! >>> Damn, anotha 5:00ish length!! Tha start’s REAL, REAL GR8 too and it has a REAL GR8 hook!! “Gangsta”/hood shit here in tha 1st verse; “who gives a fuck what Simon says,” lol! Tha 2nd verse sounds like it’s pretty gutta; very good shit here!! Luvin’ all this consistency!! These are tha kinda songs I REALLY enjoy!! Tha Lt. 00 person doin’ his thang!! What long-ass verses to where there’s only two of them on this kinda length, lol. My Rating: 4.7

13. G-Nut Speaks Again… Again
FUCK, YEA!!! >>> Tha beat made me think it was a song before I knew what tha title was, lol. Sounds more like you but it’s cool for an intermission… My Rating: N/A

14. “Party” Feat. Slugga, Benzo, Valley & Redd Nose
Da Gremlins Slugga? How GR8 could this be?!? >>> Ooh, I-G-T on tha track! LOL, good beat start here and this sounds pretty anticipatin’ fa bein’ a minute less than tha past two songs! Not 100% sure if this tha same Slugga but it’s cool; I think this one’s different… Nice job on tha 1st ½ of tha 1st verse and ooh, “smokin’ four blunts” on tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse! Good-ass shit from (I believe) Benzo!! Valley’s on tha 1st ½ of tha 2nd verse here and he sounds “retarded, already!” I think he held down tha whole verse? Not 100% sure but tha 3rd verse also sounded really good… LOL, cold ending? My Rating: 4.6

15. “Goon” Feat. Slim Pistol & Killa Sounz
LOL, Flippa Boyz action here on tha feature? Shit, yea!! Killa Sounz rappin’? This shit’s gettin’ more and more anticipatin’!! >>> LOL, different Sims tag in tha beginning? Too bad for only 2:53 but this should be REAL GR8… Tha 1st verse sounds good from you; tight shit! Tha hook’s gutta like a ma’fucka too!! Dat boy Slim Pistol’s on tha 2nd verse and it’s GR8 ta hear him afta “What Am I Gone Do Today?” (then again, this might be older?)!! LOL, Killa Soundz spittin’ some HOT shit also on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse!! My Rating: 4.7

16. “Lost It”
Anotha long length of 4:49 so let’s see here… >>> I wasn’t that anticipated but this sounds pretty anticipatin’ for tha start wit tha gutta beat and hook! Ooh, gettin’ betta @ :24! All three verses are REAL good here when it comes ta some undaground shit here!! You did ya thang on dis joint to tha fullest!! My Rating: 4.4

17. G-Nut Speaks Again… Again… Again
Of course, you KNOW this iz what’s up!! >>> Shit, yea!! “Surprise!!” 4:28 on tha length fa dis!! Tha beat’s pretty cool too! Oh, it’s tha same beat from tha last joint? Didn’t realize it was fa a second… Gotta luv dat boy G-Nut; a REAL, REAL GR8 speaker!!! I like tha random “bruh” @ 3:24 and all tha “ya heard me” and “dawg”s, feel me? Dumb shit! My Rating: N/A

18. “Greatest”
“Greati?” LOL @ tha spellin’ error again; it’s not an “ing,” lol. >>> Usually, I wouldn’t go fa this but I’m feelin’ tha singin’ in tha hook and this good beat! Tha 1st verse sounds pretty good. Tha lil’ talkin’ on tha 2nd hook sounds good… Hot shit comin’ from tha 2nd verse here; good shit, my boy! My Rating: 4.3

19. “‘Bout Dat”
Let’s see dis… >>> Cool beat start; how will it turn out? “Bow” and “how,” lol? Good job wit tha 1st verse and I luv how tha hook has a GR8 Baton Rouge feel to it!! Huh? A feature on tha 2nd verse? Who iz this gr8 rapper? I think there was anotha feature on tha 3rd verse too; not 100% sure… Either way, good shit! My Rating: 4.4

20. “Home”
Last song here… >>> Who’s “on tha track?” I thought I heard this once before…? Not that bad of a lyrical song for me. I usually don’t go for this kinda shit but it’s catchy for some reason wit this beat… You holdin’ down tha rest of this too… “64 bars like Nintendo 64;” that’s what I’m playin’ right now, lol (Banjo-Kazooie)! My Rating: 3.7

Overall: I thought this turned out to be really good! GR8 way ta wake up today! You DEFINITELY have some hot shit and I hope you keep doin’ ya thang!! Anotha rapper wit a GR8 connection in Baton Rouge!!
