Review #1,325: Lee Banks "P.A.P.E.R."

Reviewed on 9.30.2013 (Review #1,325)

Next up, a review for a CD I found by randomly googlin’ “DJ B-Real”: Lee Banks P.A.P.E.R., released in 2011. Start Time: 1:59 PM | End Time: 2:54 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

© 2013 CD Review (Review #1,325) reviewed on 9.30.2013 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Intro”
! >>> Good speech. I dunno about “money” bein’ your “motivation.” To me, it’s capturin’ peoples’ minds. But, good way ta start this off… My Rating: N/A

02. “My Ambition”
WTH? Wow, “Ambition” in tha 1st track, two CD reviewz in a row!! Produced by The Olympicks, here… >>> Almost sounds like some updated version of Barry White’s music in tha beat, here; nice sound… Good rhymes you got goin’ on ova this beat, here; nice lil’ freestyle-like track! My Rating: 4.2 (same rating as tha other “Ambition” track, too, lol)

03. “MGB”
Mod Productions (lol @ tha “Z”) on tha beat… >>> Beat sounds nice, here… Nice job wit tha 1st verse, here… You almost sound like Yo Gotti on tha hook, here; interestin’ shit… Tha 2nd verse sounds like you got a lot goin’ on, strictly heatin’ up err-thang (streetz, drugs, whateva)! My Rating: 4.3

04. “P.A.P.E.R.”
DJ B-Real beat. I dunno what to say, but it’s after noon!! >>> Beat sounds nice, here. I like that lil’ sample in tha background, durin’ tha beginning. Spittin’ some street rhymes, here, and a perspective “before” 2039 (a.k.a., “before [you] “turn 50”)! Nice schedule on tha 2nd verse, too; sounds like you got your plans in line! My Rating: 4.5

05. “Almost Famous” Feat. Coppertop
DJ Burn One-produced beat? Interesting connect, but I believe it came from online somewhere? I dunno… I guess he’s gettin’ his name out there better? >>> Tha hook’s decent, here; looks like you’re lookin’ for fame… I see you’re on a mission fa tha quantity of “bitches,” huh? Well, I’m on a mission fa tha quantity of reviewz and number of video countdowns completed! I feel like, everytime I make a song, album, video countdown, or documentary, I feel like I just had a kid; it’s that special! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, here; sounds like you can swerve ta this, despite it bein’ on a fuckin’-“hoes” tip, lol. Also, some of this sounds like you can hear a bit of static in tha beat, at times; wonder what dat iz…? Seemed like a while went by since this track started, but I’m up to tha 3rd verse, now, wit Coppertop… Sounds good, as he “took tha man route,” so you know he’s grown. I think I’ll always be young. I’m 25 and I still get ID’d for scratch-offs! My Rating: 3.8

06. “Shattered Dreams” Feat. Marcel P. Black
Interesting collab, here, produced by The Olympicks! >>> Anotha 2010s version of a Barry White-soundin’ beat, here; sounds good for a start, as well as your speech in tha beginning. Feelin’ your struggle on tha 1st verse, but you stayin’ consistent wit what you be doin’ (music)… Tha hook—in combination wit tha beat—sounds like a Nas-like hook; pretty interestin’… Tha 2nd verse sounds good ta go wit this track, too. I like how P comes through on tha 3rd verse, as this iz “one of those jointz that you write at night;” dark vibes! Feelin’ tha end part of P’s verse tha best; consistency! My Rating: 4.1

07. “Journey Thru My Mind”
Brotha B on tha beat. >>> I like tha ‘90s-soundin’ vibe, here, as far as dat southern music goes! Feelin’ your real-life rhymes, here! Doesn’t seem like you when I doze off into this track. Seems like a ‘90s rapper… That’s how much you’ve captured tha vibe, here! My Rating: 4.4

08. “Ridin’ Muzik” Feat. Ronny My
Interestin’… Production from DJ Burn One, here… >>> *Dies* Then again, this was first… I know this one as 2 Slugz Feat. Derty Red & Mac Soul “Down”, so I can’t really like this one too much… But, let’s see what comes outta this… Yea, I was right about DJ Burn One’s beats just bein’ online. This sounds okay wit tha rhymes, but tha hook doesn’t shine like tha 2 Slugz one… And, he used auto-tune, too! Weird! My Rating: 3.6

½time: Sounds like a good CD, so far; can’t complain. A 4.1-rated CD, currently!

09. “Laid Back” Feat. Mouse On Tha Track
Mouse on tha feature, but JB Beats (jacked beat?) on tha beat? >>> “Laidback” vibe; I’m diggin’ it! Reminds me of tha ‘90s, once again! Nice lyrics, strictly high! Wonder how Mouse gon come on a slower track? Interestin’, how he sounds! He still sounds mid-speed on tha track; in tha zone! My Rating: 4.4

10. “Working It”
A Q-Red-produced joint, here… >>> I don’t like high-pitched female samples, and this hook’s that. Beat’s a lil’ too laidback for me. At least tha previous joint was interestin’. I do like how you set tha mood wit how you sound, though. My Rating: 2.7

11. 6teen (Interlude)
Gotta hear this interlude! >>> Anotha good speech. My Rating: N/A

12. “6teen”
Brotha B on tha beat. >>> Anotha smooth joint; too many in a row? It does sound like a nice story wit this “teen” and how you sound… Sounds like heartfelt lyrics about someone else. Kinda hard to write somethin’ about someone else, right? I guess hard for me ‘cause I’ve neva dealt wit anyone that has died, in person. It’s like, why do people need ta chase tha fetty? I like chasin’ consistency! Not my kinda joint, but I’ll give you props fa tha good story, here, about this “mama.” My Rating: 3.7

13. “Life”
BJ on tha beat, but you forgot tha closing parenthasis on tha back cover, for tha production… >>> Here’s your gutta, street voice, here, comin’ through wit a nice analysis fa tha 1st verse. I’m likin’ this production from BJ, too. Wonder why I haven’t hit BJ up, yet? I prolly don’t know where ta get a hold of him… Wonder if he knows about me? A good 2nd verse, too; you’re strictly motivated on tha track… My Rating: 4.2

14. “Southside Anthem (Keep It On The Real)”
A beat from 3x Krazy, here… >>> Tha ‘90s vibe, here, sounds nice… Sounds like anotha story you spittin’? Tha hook sounds nice, here; I like that female. Oh, this iz so ‘90s gangsta rap, right chea! Tha ending sounds like tha outro to a CD, three jointz early. I like how tha beat continues ta ride… Wit 40 seconds left, tha beat went away, and now, you’re speakin’ anotha speech… Good, overall. My Rating: 4.5

15. “Still My Lady” Feat. Tremaine
Yes! Savage Trackz a.k.a. Sav Sinatra a.k.a. Savage on tha beat!! >>> Nice beat, Sav! Keepin’ tha ‘90s vibes goin’! I like how tha hook sounds, too; nice and pure! LOL @ tha “new dude” part on tha hook. Oh, ‘90s, like K-Ci & JoJo! How ‘bout some Next? Anyway, good job on gettin’ yourself in these moods, Lee! Nice beat endin’ from Sav! You can feel it!!! My Rating: 4.3

16. “Problems”
DJ Burn One on tha beat! >>> Good hook wit these unsolved “problems.” Slightly a ‘90s vibe, once again, and you’re comin’ through wit some great shit fa tha streetz, on a laidback tip. I feel ya on tha 2nd verse wit thinkin’ ‘bout “suicide.” It’s like, you can only take so much! I’m glad I have tha self-esteem I have to keep me goin’, despite all tha shit I run into, as far as dealin’ wit people goes. :( Cold ending wit tha gunshot; interestin’… My Rating: 4.0

17. “Bonus”
Produced by DJ Burn One. >>> Feelin’ tha beat you chose, here, as well… Consistent rhymes, here; good way ta end this CD! You left 42 seconds of tha beat, here; good way ta end this, once again! Strictly freestyled into a bonus track! My Rating: 3.9

Overall: Thought you did a great job wit this CD, Lee! Props on tha original, Baton Rouge producers, and I really felt all tha ‘90s vibes! I don’t see why you had to title it a money-related term; you should’ve titled it “1989” or somethin’, or somethin’ that had to represent growin’ up in tha ‘90s.

Review #1,091: Terror a.k.a. Cheez "Interrorgated"

Reviewed on 12.03.2011 (Review #1,091)

Gonna do some reviewz before I head to tha radio station, since I got time. Looks like I got some anticipatin’, Down Bad Entertainment shit, up first: Terror a.k.a. Cheez Interrorgated! Start Time: 12:24 PM | End Time: 1:03 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! 01. “Interrorgated” Feat. Jack Da Rippa
>>> Yes!! I’m lookin’ forward to hearin’, thanx to this hot beat in tha beginning!! Interestin’ concept wit “feelin’ interrorgated;” definitely on n poppin’ wit tha hook, here! Good shit goin’ on in tha 1st verse, here, Terror! Listenin’ to tha 2nd verse, now, and it’s pretty fast wit tha rappin’! Nice shit, but why tha censored words outta nowhere? It’s not like this iz a clean version! Huh? An unsourced Jack on tha 3rd verse; rofl @ tha missing source! Sounds good, though; surprised he ain’t rappin’ about female, female, female, since I thought that was all he was about? My Rating: 4.5

02. “Throwed Off (I Ain’t Got It All)” Feat. JR Dot
Really, it’s a double title, here: “Throwed Off” and “I Ain’t Got It All” in one. Anyway, time to review it, after I played it on my radio show! >>> Yup, EQ on tha beat, and I luv your beginning wit tha “dumb, ignant” shit, lol! Really luvin’ tha vibe, here; you got tha energy in your voice and how you hold it down fa bein’ a strong Terror, lol! Also, forgot to list JR Dot on tha feature! He does a good job, too; man, this beat’s really on n poppin’ and consistent!! You keep this shit goin’ toward tha end, too, Terror; neva stoppin’ wit this quality shit!! My Current Rating: 4.4

03. “Baton Rouge Thang” Feat. Lee Banks & Young Ready
What? Now, tha features are listed? LOL… Became an anthem fa me durin’ tha Summer; definitely some classic shit fa tha ’11!! “Winnfield!!!” My Current Rating: 4.8

04. “Make A Beat Wit Dat Choppa” & Coppertop
Nice title! >>> “CJ on tha beat”? Did I hear tha random beat tag correct? Nice job wit this production; this sounds nice, includin’ how you do ya thang wit tha hook and content! Huh, anotha unsourced feature? Damn, I’m not too familiar wit this voice on tha 1st verse, but nice contribution… Damn, there must be many features on here ‘cause tha length’s a long-ass, 5:49! Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse, here, and it sounds good; “Kay-Lib” you shouted out, I see… I dunno if you were referrin’ to who was on tha 1st verse, but whateva… Mysterious 3rd verse, here; don’t know who this iz but they sound good, just like tha 1st verse. Even tha 4th verse, too; a Lil’ Cali flow goin’ on, here, but I don’t know who it iz… My Rating: 4.3

05. “Go Away”
Anotha song more than five minutes long; let’s see what’s good, here. >>> Likin’ tha beat start fa some reason, here… Yeah, for tha hook; sounds like a tight anthem fa those annoyin’ people!! Really feelin’ your attitude, here; you got shit goin’ on in a consistent, tight way here, Terror! Yes, even continuin’ on tha 2nd verse, too! Damn, such a great voice fa this shit!! You strictly holdin’ tha whole joint down, too, as you’re on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit that tight shit again!! My Rating: 4.5

06. “Str8 Freak” Feat. Jack Da Rippa & Dat Boy A
Just two seconds away from bein’ five minutes long… >>> Decent start, but not feelin’ these dumb-ass vocals! Boo ta you and Jack Da Rippa; decrease in points! Was gonna actually like this song wit how tha lyrics and beat sounds ‘til I heard tha dumb-ass, uncalled for vocal effects in 2011! At least Dat Boy A was normal on tha 3rd verse, even though no one was sourced… again! I would’ve prolly gave into this song and rated it a 3.5, but tha 1st & 2nd verses had ta have gay vocals in ‘em! My Rating: 2.8

07. “Beam Up” Feat. Cage & JR Dot
Likin’ tha title… >>> Ooh, cool beat from that “CJ” dude! Sounds like background vocals from Cage? This sounds tight wit tha hook and err-thang; nice job wit tha flow on tha hook! Even on tha 1st verse, you got shit on lock, too! ROFL, Cage came outta nowhere on tha 2nd verse; glad I heard tha background vocals correctly!!! Talk about a character!!! Luvin’ how he comin’ through wit this crazy-ass character on tha 2nd verse!!!!! Guess this iz a Down Bad song ‘cause of JR on tha 3rd verse? I know it’s Rippaless, but it fits as bein’ listed as “Down Bad”, too (I’ll leave it as “featuring…” ‘cause it’s Terror’s CD). Once again, nice job from JR on tha 3rd verse; crazy shit, here!! My Rating: 4.6

08. “Backstabbers” Feat. Coppertop & Ronny My
I have a feelin’ I know what this gon be… >>> Yea, a “Backstabbers” sample, all throughout tha beat… Sounds like disco rap, but I don’t mind… Even got tha original hook in here, too. Usually, I’d deduct automatically for that, but here, I don’t mind. Good job wit tha rhymes, but tha 3rd verse iz… I dunno one of tha dudes, but it alternates wit Ronny My; sorry to tha dude I don’t know, since I hate leavin’ people outta tha ID. My Rating: 4.0

½time: Really likin’ this CD, Terror! Except #6, every single song definitely goes hard, in their own wayz!! Currently, you’re at a 4.2 for tha CD rating!!

09. “Coma”
LOL! >>> Ooh, a “kush” anthem ta make you feel like you’re in a “coma,” lol! Definitely somethin’ catchy, Terror; who doesn’t luv somethin’ like this? Also, I’m likin’ that this iz anotha song that’s only about two-and-a-half minutes long; interestin’ mix between long and short songs… My Rating: 4.3

10. “Hollywood Hoes” Feat. JR Dot & Cage
What could this be? >>> Ooh, addictive-soundin’ beat! Sounds like it’s a Down Bad song, based off tha Cage background in tha beginning. Oh, rofl @ Cage wit tha names and voice!! “Halle Barry;” thought he said, “Katy Perry,” lol!! I know betta gurls than some of these…—oh, how ironic; look who’s playin’ on Music Choice Dance, right now: Mayra Veronica; look her up!! Mayra Verónica >>> all these girls quoted in this song! Nice job on tha 1st verse, though; you know what it iz! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s JR Dot, comin’ through wit, you know, luv for these “Hollywood hoes.” ROFL, Cage’s on tha 3rd verse!!!!! How ‘bout Meital Dohan?! … “Hot and horny,” you know?! Gotta luv how Cage’s comin’ through on this verse!! Shout out to Meital & Mayra; they definitely some real hot gurlz!! Jack Da Rippa, are you readin’? I know this iz 100% you!!! My Rating: 4.5

11. “Deez Niggaz Foolin’ Y’all”
Likin’ how every word looks in tha title. >>> Sounds like a slow, ‘90s-type song wit this kinda beat; interestin’… This iz a long song, clockin’ at 5:46, so let’s see how interestin’ it’ll continue ta be… Catchy rhymes, especially wit tha “multiplyin’.” Interestin’ facts on tha 2nd verse, although I’m deductin’ ‘cause of this dumb-ass, “Pretty Boy Swag” flow; how gay! LOL, thought there would be more people on tha feature, but you’re on tha 3rd verse, too; sounds betta wit tha somewhat-faster flow. Kinda long, but I keep thinkin’ I’m hearin’ people in tha background, expectin’ there to be a Down Bad feature or somethin’? My Rating: 3.9

12. “Pullin’ On Her Hair”
LOL @ this title. >>> Ooh, nice start wit tha beat; it sounds like 80-degree weather, even though it’s ½ where I’m at, right now. Good job wit tha hook, showin’ some luv to tha “hair,” lol! Feelin’ your catchy flow on tha 1st verse; glad you know how ta make so many catchy songs, no matter what day/week/month/year it iz! Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too, Mr. “Gyne[terrorgated]cologist,” huh, lol? My Rating: 4.3

13. “Troublesum”
Lookin’ forward to hearin’! >>> Sounds like “Chops on tha track,” tha Lil’ Weavah producer for his 2007 song, “My Rims”, lol, but it’s just sayin’, “troublesum.” Anyway, definitely a nice beat for tha South, here, and tha rhymes you’re spittin’ iz pretty hot for tha streetz, once again! Yea, I can agree wit you wit this “everytime I look around, … in trouble” shit in tha hook; why do people like jail? It’s like, be more cautious than tryna be someone else! LOL, kept tha title repeatin’ for at least a minute, lol? Nice way ta end it… My Rating: 4.3

14. “Wal-Mart Bag” Feat. Jack Da Rippa & JR Dot
>>> Okay start wit tha beat, but please don’t tell me a sample gon come outta nowhere… Sounds good for tha ladies, although a lil’ long for me to stay focused (4:37)… As tha beat continues, I’m startin’ ta like it a lil’ more. Oddly, Jack Da Rippa sounds so entertainin’ on tha 2nd verse; luv how he randomly appeared in tha song, thanx ta this not-sourced shit goin’ on… again! Damn, I thought it was Cage on tha 3rd verse, but it’s JR, doin’ a nice job wit tha consistent vibe… I dunno why I’m thinkin’ this, but I can see this bein’ a hit song or somethin’… My Rating: 4.2

15. “Slice Of The Pie” Feat. Quikkdraw
Mmm, lol? >>> Yea, delicious wit tha hot-baked beat, mixed wit tha tasty hook, lol. Feelin’ your flow, once again, on tha 1st verse; gotta luv this Terror energy! How many catchy songs can you have on a CD? ROFL, Quikkdraw came outta nowhere on tha 2nd verse!! Now that’s like ice cream, lol! Good job wit these consistent, hood rhymes, ova this tight beat! My Rating: 4.4

16. “Go And Get It”
How we gon end it? Wit 4:50 on tha length, iz this gonna be sad or somethin’? >>> Glad it ain’t sad; nice anthem for tha hustlaz! Sounds good wit tha rhymes; you know how ta handle yo bidne$$, Terror! What’s this mysterious, almost-soundin’-like-Boosie right afta tha 2nd verse? Ooh, dialect wit tha “barz;” likin’ it! Too bad they’re not rappin’, but nice job wit tha dialect! Tha rest of this shit sounds good, courtesy of tha Cheez master, lol! My Rating: 4.1

Overall: I really liked this CD (I think it was better than Terror N Da Ghetto); lots of bangaz for my radio show, Terror! Good job wit keepin’ it 95% consistent, here! I’m glad to have a lot to choose from; most of these should make their way into my radio show!

01. “Last Time I Checked”
Looks a lil’ familiar (not in my iTunes, though), so we’ll see what’ll happen wit this one. >>> Maybe I don’t have it previously labeled, yet? Either way, whether this iz a re-review or not, sounds like you’re ready to re-emerge on an album in a great way! Nice job wit how you’re comin’ through in a king way for tha 1st verse; you know what it iz! Even got some jammin’ shit goin’ on wit tha beat, too; great combination… LOL @ tha “pissed-off pilot” on tha 2nd verse; you’re “mad fly,” lol! Ooh, tha gurl’s and their “vanilla milkshake” action; nothin’ but some consistent rhymes you bringin’ to tha table, here, Max!! My Rating: 4.4

02. “Heart Of A King”
Title song, here; let’s see how much your “king heart”’ll come out on here! >>> Nice beginning; a straight-up “Polo” perspective! You’ve been in tha game for a while, now, so you gotta be a great representative in your 30s, tha magical age range! Good job wit tha 1st verse, as well as tha “heart” you have ta be tha “king” on tha hook. Focused-Max on tha 2nd verse, here, inhalin’ and focusin’ to tha max, lol; keep it goin’, Max! Tha 3rd verse iz pretty-good, too; prolly could’ve had a “king” feature on this song, somewhere, but it’s still pretty-good. LOL, Guss beat tag toward tha end. My Rating: 4.1

03. “Touchin’ The Roof” Feat. Kevin Gates
Just heard this for tha 1st time, earlier today, and I said: Still waitin’ to review that Heart Of A King; tha hard copy I ordered iz just sittin’ on my desk, but I’m reviewin’ CDs in tha order I got ‘em… *Listens* Tha hook ain’t too bad, here, and tha beat ain’t too bad, either (for Mod Productions); guess this gon be on a good, decent level? On tha 2nd verse, now, and it’s still on a decent level for me; guess I’ll have ta wait fa Gates ta come on? Good ta hear from Gates; good combo, overall! My Current Rating: 4.1

04. “The Life I Live” Feat. Malachi X
An “X” in his name, officially? Thought I might’ve heard but lemme see… >>> Sounds new and fresh; likin’ tha beginning wit Malachi on it, finally! Definitely some nice production goin’ on, here… You’re soundin’ pretty nice on tha 1st verse; nice job, Max. Yes, hearin’ tha hook again; actually likin’ tha Malachi vibe, here! Almost sounds a touch like Kevin Gates on tha 3rd ¼ of tha hook; nice anticipation! Good job wit tha 2nd verse, too, Max; tha 3rd verse’s soundin’ better, wit tha kick-ass punchlines, in a real-life perspective! My Rating: 4.5

05. “Be Respected” Feat. Malachi X
What do we got here? >>> An unsourced Malachi X on tha feature; why unsourced? Gonna put him in tha feature! LOL, funny that I care now; here comes Guss, outta nowhere, wit tha beat tag! Sounds like we’re keepin’ shit consistent, here! Likin’ all tha quality “shit” lines you’re spittin’ on tha 1st verse, Max; nothin’ but pure consistency at its finest! Tha hook sounds pretty good; I’m glad people respect you, Max, especially respectin’ me wit thankin’ me for tha reviewz, too! Tha 2nd verse iz hella consistent, too; you keepin’ tha rhymes goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’…………! My Rating: 4.3

06. “Can I Help You” Feat. Level
Heard this a while back, at least a year ago. Good job from Mod on tha beat, Level on tha feature, and tha combination of what’s goin’ on, here! My Current Rating: 4.4

07. “Make It” Feat. Malachi X
Let’s hear this collaboration, again! >>> A lil’ soft on tha start? I’m still tuned in, so maybe, there’s a chance, here… Hearin’ you rap on tha 1st verse and I’m actually likin’ tha real-life shit you spittin’, here. Usually, I don’t go for these kinda songs, most of tha time, but it seems like y’all know how to make a good mood, right now. Tha hook ain’t too bad; actually, it reminds me of tryin’ to get to Louisiana, and vice versa! Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, either; overall, pretty-good song… My Rating: 4.0

½time: Really nice CD, Max; you’re more like tha Ace, lol! You have a 4.3 for tha CD rating, currently; glad you’re holdin’ it down for Dead Game/Bottomline!!!

08. “Action” Feat. Malachi X & Coppertop
What could this be like? More frequent collabs wit Malachi… >>> Ooh, a club vibe; likin’ this beginning goin’ on, here! You can get away wit these “pussy-poppin’” lyrics, Max; at least you’ve been in tha game for a while… and, have a status of bein’ exposed! Good shit from Malachi on tha hook; lol, talk about entertainin’! How will this Coppertop dude do on tha 2nd verse? Sounds like a younger C-Loc (like a brother or somethin’); decent lyrics and vibe, currently. For Coppertop, he fits good on tha song; nothin’ wack at all. LOL, you contributin’ wit your “P-U-$$-Y” shit, lol! My Rating: 4.3

09. “Rollin’ Hard” Feat. Reno
“I’m Amped Up” sequel? What do we got here? >>> This iz a pretty-good start; I like tha “Action” song a lil’ better for a start, currently. Ooh, you got some fast rhymes goin’ on in tha 1st verse; rapid-fire Max, here! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ like you can give tha people anything, and handle it in a great way; that’s what it iz, Max! Reno’s comin’ through wit his street shit on tha 3rd verse; nice job wit how he handles himself, as well as tha people. My Rating: 4.2

10. “Epic”
Lookin’ forward to hearin’… >>> Sounds like I’m expectin’ a movie or somethin’, lol. Hearin’ tha hook and I can feel a street anthem, here, “epic” style, lol. “Free my nigga Junior;” he got locked up (not that I can remember or anything)? What happened…? Wonder if he’s still locked up, October 30 style. Tha 2nd verse sounds good, although this song, and how it’s soundin’, iz startin’ ta become decent for me, now. Really, “$300 cologne;” that’s aight, but because my dad and cousin, I feel like a lot of “cologne,” especially to smell you from a mile away, iz a way of detectin’ insecurity. My Rating: 4.1

11. “I Luv It”
Like tha Troy Da Triggaman feature? LOL, wonderin’ what it’ll sound like without him (wit this title)? >>> Not too much goin’ on, here, although there’s some sounds in tha beat that are comin’ up fast, like a car, that are givin’ me a lil’ bit of attention… Beat’s startin’ ta sound pretty hot, and your rhymes are soundin’ good, too; it’s all about that atmosphere, environment, and perspective in tha South! LOL, simple hook; tha Troy Da Triggaman collab was much betta, but this iz still a plus for me. Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too, Max; not much ta really say, since you keepin’ tha consistency up… A 3rd verse, here, which iz just as good. My Rating: 4.0

12. “City Is Mine” Feat. Que
Wonder what this like? >>> A lil’ on a different style wit tha production, which I have semi-fear for, but we’ll see what happens. A lil’ head-bobbin’ wit how it sounds, but this reminds me of that 2nd or 3rd single that mainstream people used to drop that I’d be like, “It’s prolly gonna do somewhat-good, but I wouldn’t play it ‘cause it wasn’t that exciting for me.” LOL, capturin’ tha “city,” here! Nice job wit tha hook, includin’ tha 2nd verse, too. Oh yea, forgot to comment on Que: not-bad wit tha singin’… My Rating: 3.8

13. “Only A Question”
Looks like an interestin’ title… >>> Sounds a lil’ anticipatin’ for tha beat start, vs. an East Coast feel; how will I like it? Okay, now that it kicked in, it sounds pretty nice; keep tha excitement comin’. Catchy rhymes goin’ on in tha 1st verse; nice job, Max! Ooh, a semi-singin’ hook goin’ on from you, here? A lil’ on tha interestin’ tip… Wonder why people be “hatin’” things; I bet you don’t hear tha word “hate,” either, since it’s what they secretly do… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, either; thought I would’ve liked it betta wit how it sounded, but at least there’s room for anotha one… Tha 3rd verse sounds good; not bad wit tha whole song, overall… My Rating: 4.1

14. “Still Smile” Feat. Ronny My
Time ta end this… >>> Iz it gonna be tha pop-rap style for an ending song? At least it ain’t too depressin’…; glad you have some motivation in your title. Tha 1st verse has some pretty-good shit goin’ on; tha 2nd verse sounds like you’re keepin’ that survival up, too. Just an okay song for me, overall, but songs that come out like this (tha sound of it) ain’t that special for me. Final verse iz from Ronny My and I’m likin’ tha rhymes he spittin’, here; it’s all about “101”—tha age, lol! My Rating: 3.6

Overall: Nice job wit tha CD, Max! I really liked most of tha jointz on here; not that much that struck me like crazy, but most of them were fulla nice quality! You know what it iz; stay on your grind!

Review #1,065: Lee Banks "Target Practice"

Reviewed on 8.25.2011 (Review #1,065)

Next up, I believe wit Paypa Talk Records? Or, maybe Pyrex Radio Music Group/Staxx On Deck Entertainment? I know Paypa Talk did a photoshoot together… Lee Banks Target Practice; let’s see what it do. Start Time: 4:08 PM | End Time: 4:45 PM

If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I already love it. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating! Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. Target Practice Intro (T Mck)
>>> Must be still locked up, since he on tha phone. Dolby D doin’ some good mixin’, too… Sounds like this gon turn out ta be a pretty tight mixtape! My Rating: N/A

02. “Shots Fired”
Let’s hear it! >>> Not an original beat? I’ll try ta just pay attention ta you, then… Sounds pretty gutta wit how you’re comin’, of course… I know you were pretty serious on dat “Baton Rouge Thang”; glad ta see a whole mixtape on a “Baton Rouge Thang” tip! Great voice fa this, too; gotta have anger fa this shit right chea! My Rating: 4.2

03. “Kill Yaself (G-Mix)”
More like “yaself” instead of “ya self,” ya dig? >>> Again, feelin’ tha attitude and focus at all times when it comes ta you, here! Pretty serious lyrics goin’ on, too; so much anti-fake shit goin’ on? Hopefully, you are official wit it! My Rating: 4.3

04. “Dumb Shit 2011”
Glad this iz here. I know of this from tha no2thebr.com mixtape compilation; much hotter than 1st listen, too! My Current Rating: 4.4

05. “Go Dumb” (Shell (Young Thugga) & Lee Banks)
NO To The BR 5 style! Definitely some hot shit, once again! My Current Rating: 4.4

06. “Can I Help U (Nigga Fuck U) (G-Mix)”
LOL @ tha title! >>> Sounds real serious wit this shit, here; really feelin’ all tha types of punchlines goin’ on!! Shit, they ain’t stoppin’! Sounds like somethin’ Spitta would spit; very, very hot!! Keepin’ shit goin’ wit more than one verse; you already know this tha hottest song, so far!! My Rating: 4.7

07. “I Don’t Know What To Call It (G-Mix)”
>>> Glad you have this gutta side to you; if it’s like this ‘til #20, you’ll definitely be acin’ these jointz, easily! Damn, keep it goin’, keep it goin’, keep it goin’!! Glad you have some Young Ready and Spitta inside of you! My Rating: 4.4

08. “My Chopper (G-Mix)” Feat. Lil’ Phat & Big Head
Looks like a serious collab! >>> Hearin’ some Young Ready wit you, here; very tight wit it!! Oh, I recognize tha hook; interestin’ ta have your own version… Lil’ Phat’s comin’ through wit some street shit on tha 2nd verse; iz he afraid ta have an attitude or somethin’, lol? It’s like, yell… I know he did it once, when he said, “keep my name out yo muthafuckin’ mouth,” back two years ago. Anyway, Big Head’s comin’ through pretty nice on tha 3rd verse; at least his attitude sounds like he’s angry, not neutral, lol! But, we all know dat everyone did tha damn thang to tha fullest, here! My Rating: 4.5

09. “Mental Home (G-Mix)”
LOL, where are all these instrumentals comin’ from? >>> Even though it’s Mod Productions (of course), his beats usually leak online. But, this was already a track, so it’s interestin’ ta hear a different side… Nothin’ ta really say, as my feedback looks tha same; you know you’re doin’ tha damn thang wit this undaground, rap shit! My Rating: 4.3

10. “The Real Story” Feat. Lil’ Ernest & Lil’ Mista
Speakin’ of titles, wasn’t this a Savage song? >>> Maybe, it’s a new song? Feelin’ tha street vibe goin’ on wit tha 1st verse, Ernest; definitely a 225 representation, here, especially fa “Ghost”town! I like tha hook, here, especially tha “dodgin’ all these red, white, and blue lights” line; hella catchy! Lil’ Mista’s comin’ through on tha 2nd verse; good shit, of course! Here you are on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit tha gutta-ass vibe fa this street-ass song! Ooh, nice part at 3:14 wit tha quieter side of tha beat… or should I say, ending to tha song!! My Rating: 4.6

½time: A 4.4-rated CD, currently; definitely some official-ass shit dat’s goin’ on, here…, continuously!!!!

11. “Closed Case”
Uh oh, time ta end a “case,” lol? >>> Sounds like consistent rhymes dat don’t stop, once again; definite plus!! What else can I say? I’ve said nearly tha same thang on each song, ya feel me? My Rating: 4.3

12. “Life”
>>> Good vibe, especially wit tha beat goin’ on, here! Almost sounds like Young Ready for tha begin—oh, of course, it’s always you wit dat great style! Prolly could’ve had a feature or two, here; a lil’ longer than typical… My Rating: 4.1

13. “The Wall (Freestyle)” (Coppertop, Box, Lee Banks & Ronny My)
A quadruple lineup!! >>> Feelin’ tha 1st verse; thumbs up, Coppertop! Box’s 2nd, soundin’ tighter wit his punchlines! That’s right! “I breathe life into it;” B-B-B-B-Box!! You’re 3rd? Sounds good wit what you’re bringin’, here! “My attitude iz nasty;” that’s what people need ta make some quality tracks for tha streetz, ya dig?! Ronny’s last… Not really tha hard type, here; a lil’ softer, wit a mainstream twist, so I only think his part’s aight… My Rating: 4.5

14. “Dat Nigga” Feat. DJ B-Real
Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this collab! >>> I like tha start; sounds like somethin’ official! Definitely a nice hook comin’ from B-Real, here, as always! You’re doin’ a nice job wit tha attitude and rhymes, as usual; can’t deny what you’re bringin’ to tha table! Ooh, 2nd verse’s soundin’ a lil’ on a catchier tip, wit a tight-ass gangsta tip, too!! My Rating: 4.6

15. “Go DJ (G-Mix)”
>>> Glad you “give it 102” when it comes to tha quality! Great drug content goin’ on wit some fastness!! This iz betta than typical; really feelin’ what you bringin’ ta this track, Lee!! My Rating: 4.7

16. “Uh Huh” Feat. Young Shine & Shell (Young Thugga)
Lookin’ like a great collab; always got room fa some Shell, ya dig?! >>> Ironic dat Shell smokin’ a blunt iz on my background, right now, as it randomly changes every 30 minutes. He sounds good on tha hook…; “uh huh, uh huh, uh huh, uh huh!!” LOL @ tha 1st verse wit you; likin’ tha anger!! “Shit no;” perfect rejection for tha ones dat want “shit yea,” lol! Young Shine of tha Short Bus Boyz iz on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some good/aight gutta shit… “Shit” yea, Shell’s actually spittin’ a verse (3rd verse) and he sounds pretty serious and to-tha-point wit this shit! Glad he contributed a verse for this song and anotha appearance on your mixtape, Mr. Banks! My Rating: 4.5

17. “Hands Off Me” (Level, Lil’ Mista & Lee Banks)
Good collab… >>> Really nice start wit tha beat and start, so far! Heard only a sample but this tha full thang and it’s pretty serious, once again; thanx for tha 1st verse, Level, whether you’re too cocky or not! LOL, keepin’ tha Easy Hustle Entertainment fam comin’ along, Mista’s up next, comin’ through wit a hyped-up verse! Sounds more like how he’d act on a single or somethin’… LOL, you sound a lil’ funny on tha 3rd verse. ROFL, comin’ through descriptive wit your “dick,” lol; explicit and descriptive rhymes are usually tha best for sex songs, ya dig? It’s much betta than tha typical “hoes on my dick” or “I fucked your gurl,” right? My Rating: 4.5

18. “Cold Blooded (G-Mix)”
Looks pretty serious… >>> Good street song/mix; I like tha short length, too. Definitely gotta feel tha way you be comin’ through in a serious way! My Rating: 4.3

19. “Murder (G-Mix)”
Anotha title that’s serious! >>> Beat sounds like it could be somethin’ serious fa tha 225! Also, you got tha short-but-sweet length, as well as tha kick-ass shit you’re bringin’ to tha G-table, lol! My Rating: 4.1

20. “Act A Fool (G-Mix)”
Time ta end it… >>> LOL, you and tha “How Ya Do That” shit goin’ on; interestin’… Once again, anotha quick length and some tight shit you droppin’! Even though this was just a mixtape of mainly you, I was expectin’ dat Ready would be on here? Sorry, Young Ready; you’ll be unReadyless in tha future, lol. But, good job wit tha rhymes, as always! My Rating: 4.3

Overall: Good job wit your five-star-rated CD; thumbs up fa tha features and all dat good shit! Happy ‘early’ birthday ta Level; his birthday’ll mark four years since I found $200, which iz one of a few national lottery ticket holidays I have during each year!

Review #1,048: A-One (Wissel) & Lil' One The Champ "Gift Rap (Chopped & Screwed)"

Reviewed on 8.07.2011 (Review #1,048)

Here’s my 5th review for today: A-One (Wissel) & Lil’ One The Champ “Gift Rap (Chopped & Screwed), courtesy of DJ Grits! BTW, in this case, it’s “rap,” not “wrap!” Start Time: 11:11 PM | End Time: 11:48 PM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! 01. “Fast Life” Feat. Killa Kyleon
All titles have “Screwed & Chopped” in their IDs, obviously. >>> Very quiet background music? Oh, I hear tha screwed shit; sounds like a white dude? Good job wit tha added intro, here. LOL @ tha “T-Motor” thing chopped-and-screwed! I already reviewed this actual CD in tha past so I might have short feedback for each song. Most of my feedback’ll be to tha S&C shit. LOL @ Wissel wit tha S&C voice! I like how tha blendin’ and err-thang sounds, here! Tha Lil’ One The Champ voice ain’t too bad, either… My Rating: 4.5

02. “Figure Four” Feat. Spitta
>>> Nice, once again, wit tha intro! Lil’ One sounds tight, once again! ROFL @ tha Wissel! Not inta tha flow on this song, ‘cause it sounds like Wayne/Drake, but if it’s S&C, it’s definitely official! LOL, Spitta sounds funny when he’s S&C; Spit—it—ita, lol!! My Rating: 4.2

03. “Ridin’” Feat. Ronny My
>>> This sounds real nice wit tha intro; I actually luv ta coast ‘round tha block! People can hear my music, recognize someone wit Autism/Asperger’s, and know it’s me! Plus, it saves gas! Such greatness fa those “ridin’!” My Rating: 4.4

04. “Millionaire” Feat. Junior
Forgot an “I” in tha title, lol? >>> Sounds good; nothin’ much ta say, once again. LOL, this S&C shit dispels tha typical content and shit like dat, which I’d usually criticize. LOL, Wissel’s such a character when he’s S&C! My Rating: 4.1

05. “Cut Buddy”
>>> This ain’t too bad; sounds catchy but lol, gotta luv dat Wissel voice! My Rating: 3.9

06. Skit
C&Sin’ tha skit’s pretty creative, too! >>> …Or maybe not? Iz this S&C? Sometimes, it sounds like it but sometimes, it don’t. Either way, this iz pretty catchy wit all tha “shit yea” shit, lol! My Rating: N/A

07. “Movie” Feat. Lil’ Mista
>>> Not really my kinda hook; aight, overall, thanx ta tha S&C. My Rating: 3.7

08. “Fuck A Patna” Feat. Taylor Jay
I actually am in that mood right now! >>> Likin’ tha slow-ass beginning, lol! This aight, too; great vibe and mood, though, lol. My Rating: 4.0

½time: Sounds good, thanx ta tha S&C feel! A 4.1 for tha CD rating, so far; C&S it up to tha max!

09. “Money Train” Feat. $hizz
>>> This sounds great when it’s S&C; pretty serious for tha streetz, lol! $hizz iz always entertainin’ wit his young voice; sounds hella funny and teenager-y wit this S&C shit, lol! My Rating: 4.2

10. “What You Mean” Feat. Level
>>> LOL @ tha D. Jackson beat tag slowed down. Level sounds a lil’ weird and funny—like a Lady GaGa monster—on this, lol! My Rating: 4.1

11. Skit
>>> How come it doesn’t sound S&C again? Now, it iz; I think tha whole thang should be S&C, or should I say, screwed. My Rating: N/A

12. “Mrs. Late Night” Feat. Jimi Jump
>>> Sounds much betta wit tha S&C action! ROFL @ Wissel!! ROFL @ his “let’s smoke a blunt” and “my dick game vicious” lines wit this voice! LOL, Jimi Jump has a funny voice, almost soundin’ like Bun B wit this S&C shit, lol! My Rating: 4.3

13. “Big Deal” Feat. Puppy & Nasty Nate Da Gyno
>>> LOL @ tha Puppy beat tag in tha beginning! Why are all tha features missin’ from tha IDs? Good thing tha original one had a back cover! Puppy sounds kinda crazy and catchy wit his S&C voice! My Rating: 4.2

14. “Be The Boss” Feat. Daem
>>> Not that bad… I hear tha gayness in tha hook; still gay for me, no matter if tha S&C iz there or not! My Rating: 1.9

15. “Legendary”
>>> Nothin’ much here; more on a boring level but of course, it beats tha original version, lol. My Rating: 3.6

16. “Somethin’ Serious”
My favorite for tha ending song, once again; let’s see how it goes wit tha S&C feel! >>> Sounds hilarious, as always; luv tha slowness! Tha bass iz pretty hard, here, too! Good job, although I might go for tha original, more; I’ll still tie tha rating, though. My Rating: 4.5

Overall: Sounds much betta now dat it’s S&C. Ironically, I could care less about most of tha rhymes when it’s S&C ‘cause tha vibe iz real great but yea, great job wit this S&C shit, DJ Grits!

Got my 1st review for today—lol that it’s late: LG “Cinco; shout out ta Da Goonz! This CD’s on their website! Start Time: 10:17 PM | End Time: 10:37 PM

Quick Note:
I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. Shorty Do Whop
>>> Nas start? Afta tha Nas start, I like tha lil’ intro part; sounds like people in a regular, quiet hood, lol. This iz kinda long; I thought this was a song, lol. My Rating: N/A

02. “Untitled”
>>> Beat’s a lil’ plain/East Coast for me but your rhymes are nice. My Rating: 3.8

03. “Venting”
>>> Tha beat start sounded a lil’ weak for me but now, once tha rhymes came in, tha beat’s soundin’ like a decent undaground-soundin’ one. Wit your rhymes, they’re consistent, once again. However, I thought I’d hear more of an attitude on your delivery since you called this “Venting”. My Rating: 3.9

04. “Exhale”
>>> Tha beat iz aight, this time; still feelin’ your rhymes… My Rating: 3.7

05. “Blow Your Smoke” Feat. Dinero (of Da Goonz)
Ooh, a Goon collab wit a “Smoke” title? Have I heard dis? >>> Ooh, a new song; thumbs up fa tha collab and my big dawg Bonka fa followin’ me! Tha beat’s nice and smooth fa dis content; tha hook sounds good—can’t deny anything wit “smoke” in it, ya dig? You doin’ a nice job wit tha 1st verse; tha rhymes are consistent and fit good fa dis, once again. Yay, Dinero on tha 2nd verse; gotta feel tha “goonout” shit! When Bonka/whoeva said, “goonout,” ta me, I thought dat was hella cool. Ooh, addin’ some “show me ya titties” shit; thumbs up! Also, a lil’ bit of Lil’ Kim “Lighters Up” for a bridge? Actually, it sounds catchy—in a “smoke” way, lol! You’re back on tha mic, here, comin’ through wit some good rhymes, although in a Drake/Wayne flow… My Rating: 4.3

½time:
Hangin’ on wit a decent level wit tha ratings. However, for tha CD rating standin’ at a 3.9, this sounds more like a pretty good-soundin’ CD, ya dig?

06. “What They Do”
>>> Anticipatin’ beat start, for some reason… Startin’ off wit tha hook and it sounds catchy wit tha melody and title! Ooh, a hustle-type song vs. lovin’ rappin’! Props on havin’ a betta-than-usual-soundin’ song, once again! My Rating: 4.2

07. “Kool & The Gang” Feat. Bonka (of Da Goonz)
OMG, Bonka on tha feature!!! Damn, this should be pretty tight, in any situation!! >>> Fade-out after 15 seconds, lol? Wonder what gon happen… Sounds like a dinner at a restaurant wit tha music, lol. Damn, long beat intro? Finally, at :53, here you are on tha 1st verse, soundin’ good! Wow, consistent rhymes; can’t deny it! Really lookin’ forward to my big dawg Bonka!! Ooh, I like how there’s no hook; adds a different spice to tha table, ya dig? *Gets impatient* Bonka!!! Where are you?!? Ooh, here he iz on tha 2nd verse? Shit yea!! I’m feelin’ all tha rhymes; lol, what’s next? “I give ‘em hard dick;” sounds like freestylin’. Once again, nice job, you guys. I was a lil’ iffy about puttin’ it above tha “Smoke” song but this iz easily better. My Rating: 4.4

08. “Love”
>>> This iz kinda mainstream for me; nothin’ too special… My Rating: 3.1

09. “Abu Dabi”
Looks like an interestin’ title; I can fuck wit non-U.S.-type shit! >>> Tha beat’s aight, here; rhymes sound cool… Tha hook sounds interestin’ wit this random title, as well as your “ship it out…” shit. My Rating: 3.6

10. “Dope. Cypher” (IL Duce, Gage, Luke St. John, A.R., 2feet, LG & Ronny My)
LOL, bonus? That’s what’s up; longest song I eva played on my radio show, lol! Previously reviewed on Ronny My’s “The Other Blues Brotha” CD, here’s what I said: Damn, 9:40!! IL Duce iz startin’ dis off and it’s A+ at its finest!!! I feel dat this easily gon be tha best one on here!! I believe this iz tha same Gage I knew from a DatPiff CD I checked out, known as Young Gage? Sounds good; very consistent!! BTW, this iz a 1st: since when iz there a period in tha title? Thumbs up on tha different shit ta make it seem lucky. Next up, Luke St. John, doin’ a real nice job, too! So much shit you could quote and enjoy here!! Let’s hear what Mr. Problem Child Entertainment dude A.R. has ta offer… Likin’ what he bringin’, too! You know I fuck wit him, ya dig? A.R., what up? You know what it iz! 2feet, a.k.a. Two Feet, iz up next; didn’t realize they were tha same people. Wit what 2feet’s offerin’, it sounds like some good, non-Louisiana-type shit (yea, I know he from Louisiana); good shit! LG’s next, keepin’ it goin’, here! There’s over four minutes left, lol! Iz it gonna be a long outro at tha end or somethin’? Here’s Ronny My, almost soundin’ like an outro at first, lol. Pretty catchy; nothin’ beats tha 1st three dudes, though! LOL, good ending ta his verse as there’s a lil’ less than two minutes left. Tha beat outro’s kinda long fa an ending but whateva… My Current Rating: 4.8

Overall:
I thought this was ½ pretty good and ½ decent, which averages out ta about a good CD!

Tha next CD I finna review, which I finally have, iz Kevin Gates & Max Minelli “The Leak! Start Time: 7:37 PM | End Time: 8:04 PM

01. “Dream Team” Feat. Malachi X
Kevin Gates iz tha main artist fa dis; let’s see how it goes… >>> Interestin’ production and tha 1st verse from Gates iz pretty consistent, 100%! Sounds like a good hook from Malachi on tha hook; almost sounds like Famous Stranger when he sings… Good job from Gates, too, on tha 2nd verse; feelin’ dis fastness! Max’s on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit fast shit, too; gotta feel dis!! My Rating: 4.5

02. “Can I Help You” Feat. Level
Max Minelli’s song but no Gates; let’s see how dis one goes… >>> Mod Productions on tha beat, here. ROFL, where did this title come from? Knew this as “Buzz Kickin’ In”, I believe? Neva mind, this iz tha correct title and I heard it from DJ 5150 & Dre’s 5th mixtape compilation. My Current Rating: 4.4

03. “Lean 2 Da Side (Remix)”
LOL, Kevin Gates’s song featuring Max Minelli. Neva gave dis a review (tha remix) so lemme see what happens… >>> EQ doin’ tha beat and yea, definitely an anthem, remix or not! I think a catchy song like dis needs a feature, so it’s good dat Max got on dis! Tha whole entire song iz catchy and tight, especially dat hook!!! My Rating: 4.8

04. “Gettin’ It”
Only Kevin Gates on dis song; let’s see dis one and see if it’s *Alexia* “so good,” lol! >>> Good beat and interestin’ start wit how Gates comes through wit dis one! I like tha background ad-libs from Gates, too; good rhymes, as always! Tha hook’s interestin’ wit all this “__ __ nigga” shit; good job! My Rating: 4.3

05. “Everyday I’m Clean”
Max Minelli featuring Kevin Gates, here. >>> LOL, Max fresh, here, wit tha hook and tha “mud,” lol; gotta feel it! LOL @ Max havin’ a “teacher” dat “ain’t give shit;” how come everyone has bad teachers? Gates sounds catchier, here, but Max had betta rhymes, so it’s, like, a tie, lol. My Rating: 4.2

06. “I Love Myself”
Only Kevin Gates, here; familiar title? Don’t think I heard any of these, though. >>> EQ doin’ tha beat, again! LOL, this iz funny and cheesy wit tha “love” to tha “myself,” lol! Rhymes are kinda distractin’, here; prolly could’ve did somethin’ else wit tha flow… Overall, good, of course. My Rating: 4.2

07. “Goodnight”
Only Max Minelli, here; what he got fa a solo-solo, lol? >>> Tha beat ain’t too interestin’ but Max keeps tha track a lil’ interestin’ wit tha rhymes… Even though a lil’ weird fa me, I like how tha hook sounds; good job, Max. My Rating: 3.8

½time: Of course, definitely feelin’ dis; good job collaboratin’, y’all! A 4.3-rated CD; can y’all keep it up?

08. “Giant”
Only Gates, here; lol @ tha short title! >>> LOL, anotha EQ beat wit only Gates? Funny formula… This sounds betta and more-focused than “I Love Myself”, although “I Love Myself” had a betta beat. Interestin’ rhymes, lol…; lol, are all these rhymes random or what? Who comes up wit dis shit wit a “mosquito” and shit, lol? Interestin’ hook, too. My Rating: 4.4

09. “It’s My Life” Feat. Malachi X
Malachi added an X to his name? Anyway, Max’s song but no Gates… >>> Not really inta tha production and wit Malachi on this, I don’t think this’ll be too good fa me… Max always comin’ through wit tha good rhymes. LOL, Max sounds a lil’ catchy wit all tha shit throughout tha hook and Malachi ain’t too bad, either. Overall, only decent, still. My Rating: 3.7

10. “Head 2 My Toes (Remix)”
LOL, we all know dis Kevin Gates’s song, now wit Max on tha feature! >>> Still sounds good wit tha original beat! I like tha extra words on tha hook; thumbs up! Max comin’ through wit catchy-ass shit, too; lol, it’s all about tha random brain!! Sounds like Gates re-recorded tha verses, here, ‘cause they sound a lil’ different/updated fa dis. My Rating: 4.7

11. “Fuck You Bitch” Feat. Reno
LOL @ this direct title of Max Minelli’s song! How will it go without Gates, again? >>> I like tha beat start, fa some reason… I dunno what ta say about dis song; I guess it’s a lil’ catchy? I like tha hook and this attitude, lol! Tha 2nd verse sounds betta, now dat I heard tha hook. Reno’s on tha 3rd verse and he’s got a betta attitude fa dis, so dat’s a plus. Ooh, “bigga than Santa Claus” when it comes ta tha “list;” uh oh, lol! My Rating: 4.0

12. “Bend ‘Em Backwards”
Kevin Gates solo song. >>> Ooh, real hot start fa tha beat; you don’t expect dis too much from Gates!! LOL, what a hook and how it’s delivered!! Sounds like somethin’ I would make—not exactly in a song but how I would sound when I have tha most silly-soundin’ voice in a video as a character, lol!! Definitely… *Alexia voice* “love it!! He iz so good!” As far as tha verses, sounds like there’s not as much interest in ‘em as there iz in tha hook. But, I have enough interest fa dis track ta pay attention, so tha rhymes pass, fa me. SMH, why iz it takin’ so long fa tha real good hook ta come on? Too bad it’s only at tha beginning and end; a lil’ disappointed… My Rating: 4.4

13. “Personal Freak”
Max solo. >>> LOL @ this; gotta feel tha “freak” side! I like when tha screwed voice comes in; adds interest ta tha song. LOL, keep dis freaky shit comin’ along, Max, lol! Definitely consistent all tha way through! My Rating: 4.2

14. “Numb 2 Da World” Feat. Ronny My
A Max Minelli song wit Ronny on tha feature? Looks like Ronny took it to tha next level wit dis. >>> Kinda stale for production but Max sounds good fa tha start; likin’ tha rhymes. Tha hook even sounds a lil’ catchy/interestin’; good thinkin’, Max, especially tha “ride” shit, combined wit tha “smoke” shit! Even keepin’ shit goin’ wit tha 2nd verse, too; nice… Ronny My ain’t bad on dis but there could’ve been someone else… My Rating: 3.6

15. “Guilty”
LOL @ this short title, again, fa Gates! Ending song? How will it go? >>> Really feelin’ tha production, once again! Glad it’s lastin’ a lil’ ova 20 seconds, too! Immediately, tha tight rhymes from Gates are comin’ outta tha speakers! Once again, anotha consistent joint from Gates. But, where’s tha—oh, I hear tha hook, now; can’t tell, easily, when tha hook comes on wit tha Gates songs. My Rating: 4.2

Overall: Nice job, you guys; always comin’ through wit some nice, consistent music!! Hopefully, Gates’s be outta jail…, eventually…!
