Now, yesterday, I reviewed tha new Back 2 Business mixtape dat DJ Smallz hosted, from G-Lane, and it marked two years since I reviewed G-Lane Vol. 1. Now, today, I’m reviewin’ No Rest, No Sleep 2, and ironically, it’s an exact year since I reviewed No Rest, No Sleep (tha 1^st one), lol! You know me, I luv repeatin’ moments on tha same day! Tryna buy a $20 scratch-off on Level’s birthday, in honor of my $200 found winner back in ‘07, but we may get a hurricane? WTF? Anyway, here goes my review for Savage a.k.a. Let’s get it, Sav!! >>> Only 2:01 on tha length; let’s see how quick this’ll go… Feelin’ tha tight-ass beat you’re bringin’ to tha table, here, as well as how you’re deliverin’ this official shit (fuck tha word ‘real’; it’s all about ‘official’)! “Saw me on tha cable;” which channel(s) you were on after BET in 2005? I like tha shit you’re spittin’ in tha 1^st verse; it’s tha “serious” shit you want, which I’m sure you get, easily! Ooh, you’re singin’ tha hook!! I’m sure tha gurls get goosebumps hearin’ this shit; definitely feelin’ tha Summer, laidback, but fast vibe! Interestin’ shit goin’ on in tha 2^nd verse, too; seems like you always fill tha plate for my radio show, Sav! I tag you in, like, every show ‘cause there’s at least one song you produced, or were featured on, everytime I do a show; that’s how much you’re on ya grind! LOL, no M/F (muthafuckin’) in tha ID? Wit 2:29 on tha length, I know this gon be some entertainment… some jail entertainment? I think he was around when this CD was in tha process of recordin’? Let’s see. >>> Tha 3Deep First 6 Months dayz, it feels like! WDICK4U, too, lol! ROFL @ tha “you one ugly muthafucka” when it comes to tha “only comes at night” shit; funny job, here. My Rating: N/A

Ooh, this song I played on my gurl Alexia’s birthday radio show; had ta show her luv wit a song like this, lol! Ugh, all those damn boyfriends, lol!! Already reviewed this in tha past, but you know this iz catchy, between tha Boosie sample on tha hook, and tha shit you be on durin’ tha 1^st verse, Sav! Level’s entertainin’, too. LOL, in tha show’s video, I said, “Alexia, I dunno if you can handle what he sayin’,” lol; crazy shit! Also, your flow iz smooth like butta for these ladies on tha 3^rd verse, too; err-body must luv this, lol!! My Current Rating: 4.6

Duh!!!!! >>> Tight beat start; lol @ tha “you smell somethin’” part! LOL, double meanin’ fa tha title, since you have every positive of bein’ “tha shit,” ya heard me?! This iz definitely more like it, even though every single song on here has been hella tight, so far! Everytime I’m in an area wit “kush” in it (weed, etc.), I feel like it’s an automatic safe zone! Plus, it’s a transition from all tha bullshit out there! >>> Ooh, nerve-calmin’ hook, here, lol! Real nice job wit tha beat and how you’re singin’, drug style, lol! Sounds like tha hook’s pretty serious, when it comes ta not havin’ a bad change of pace! It’s all about keepin’ tha one you wit, and hoping they feel tha same way, too! Great job wit tha collaboration and holdin’ it down fa tha gangstaz at every chance you get, Sav!! Everyone must bow-down ta that hook; perfect way of capturin’ attention wit a special voice! Let’s hear what you gon do wit this one… >>> Anotha intro? Sounds pretty cool, hustlin’ style! Nice job wit it bein’ 17 seconds; let’s now see how this track gon turn out… I hear a nice, Southern vibe in tha beat; good shit, Sav! Also, tha hook’s pretty smooth wit your kick-ass singin’, as well as your kick-ass content of tha drugs! Damn, that’s a lotta shit you be on, when it comes ta sellin’ shit; hustlin’-ass Savage doin’ tha damn thang on tha 1^st verse! LOL, iz it a mirage? Quikkdraw on tha 2^nd verse? Neva mind, that’s you, I believe; sounds pretty focused, though. See, someone like you can create a mirage in this hot CD, Sav, lol! I thought Quikkdraw was also on this ‘cause where this link came from, didn’t source tha features on “Life Of A Gangsta”. But yea, as I said in tha Young Ready review, you really holdin’ down tha hook down, Sav, as well as Ready doin’ his thang wit all tha drugs he slang, and great shit he be rappin’ about! Even comin’ through wit a verse, too, Sav; that’s how hungry you are, Sav! Also, this time, a space at 1:46 when you start your verse? I don’t get how there’s random things happenin’ throughout tha ends of songs and sometimes, in tha mist of tha songs… Damn, it did dat space, again, at 3:28… My Current Rating: 4.8

Looks like a bunch of Young Guerillaz on tha feature, this time, lol! Didn’t think there’d be a sequel to “My City”, so I’m lookin’ forward ta hearin’ what gon be tha 2K11 version! >>> R.I.P. Sheen~Marie; one of tha only BR murders I heard about this year! She was beaten and burned ta death! But as far as this version, I like tha news story in tha beginning, as well as tha cool-soundin’ hook and beat you got, here! Really like tha shit you bringin’ to tha 1^st verse; I’m sure most people in your “city” can relate ta this shit, which luckily, I can’t. First time I’m hearin’ this Ree-Up dude on tha 1^st ½ of tha 2^nd verse, and he sounds like a Young Ready brother, lol? ROFL @ his anger; glad he’s got a lot! Must be Banga on tha 2^nd ½ of tha 2^nd verse? Feelin’ tha shit he bringin’ to tha table; must be a Young Ready cousin, or ___-in-law person, lol? LOL, you both sing)… Tha 1^st verse was pretty good from you; good job, Sav, wit holdin’ down how people be. Tha 2^nd verse iz you (so dat must be Tre on tha hook); lots of info you know! Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. However, I'm glad you have tha "ta" spellin' 'cause I'm now usin' "fa" and "ta" in my slang language. >>> It sounds REAL gr8 wit tha start & tha beat as well as tha "rollin' to da max" shit in tha beginning!! This sounds REAL anticipatin' right here!! That hook iz DEFINITELY watz good!! I'm hearin' your voice on tha 1st verse, and I thought you would sound younger, but you sound good on this shit! Great job on tha 1st verse, and now, Max Minelli's on tha 2nd verse here; gr8 job gettin' him on this!! Nice job wit him contributin' ta this, and you still doin' ya thang on tha hook here! A newbie on tha 3rd verse here (J-Skillz), and he sounds REAL GR8 on that 1st 1/2 of tha 3rd verse!! Really feelin' his jiggalatin' lyrics, and you on tha 2nd 1/2 of tha 3rd verse was REAL gr8 too!! Still luvin' this, as well as tha hook! My Rating: 4.8

You did a REAL NICE job wit that 1st song!! I really hope you keep this hot shit comin'!! >>> Oh wow, much betta beat start here!! Oh, you got tha right track # this time, lol. Tha beat iz DEFINITELY nuts, as well as tha hook!! Shit, it's skippin'... *Takes break to fix tha CD* I can't picture why people get dust & scratches on CDs. I haven't had a scratch on any of my CDs since 2003; it '09 now! Tha 1st verse here from you, and it's soundin' good on tha lyrics for tha females. Pretty good job on tha 1st verse, and now, tha 2nd verse here from dat boy J-Skillz, doin' tha damn thang (as usual)! Pretty good 2nd verse right there, doin' a nice job. I like tha bridge wit tha "shake ya body like sum loose change," even though I'm not into tha dancin' when it comes to Rap music. Nice endin' wit tha beat and tha "she like it, I like it;" good shit! I assume this iz #3 since you have "Jiggin' Ta Da Max" as #3 and this as #1. Anyway, I'm REALLY anticipated for this shit, and I'm REAL glad you already know I'm doin' this for you! Get ready 'cause I should fuckin' luv this!! That title reminds me of a pill poppin' subject ('cause I rememba [I think] a song from tha past where it's like, "I'm on dem tee tees"); lookin' REAL forward!! >>> It sounds REAL NICE since your music iz REAL CONSISTENT!!! Really luv tha pill shit in tha beginnin' of tha 1st verse wit tha "throw back" shit, as well as tha "blunt of doulja" part. I actually know what this song iz from tha past. Might've reviewed it last October... *checks* LMAO, this that same song I was talkin' 'bout in tha preview! Glad ta be re-reviewin' it again! That beat/rhythm iz just REAL nice!! Here comes tha 2nd verse here, and it soundin' REAL NICE from Big Head right here, doin' tha damn thang! It's skippin' way too much, but I got it on my iPod right here... GREAT lyrics right here when it comes to this shit, ya dig! Dat boy Bubba on tha 3rd verse, and yea, he "da stupid way," so you KNOW he 100% doin' tha damn thang at ALL times!! This a catchy title; let's see what you bring to tha table... >>> Sounds like interestin' facts in tha 1st verse. Tha great rhymes continued without gettin' borin'. I see here (as I talked ta you on tha phone last week). You said this song was “What You Won’t Do”, although you labeled it as “It’s Your Birthday” on this tracklisting, so I fixed dat. Feelin’ tha beat here as it gives me an old Lil’ Wayne feel (e.g., “Tha Block Is Hot”)! Feelin’ tha rhymes in tha 2nd verse, as you’re doin’ ya thang here fa tha streets. Tha 3rd verse here keepin’ it consistent; feelin’ tha gangsta lyrics at times throughout this song. Huh? It randomly ended wit 14 seconds of silence… My Rating: 4.2

Lemme see what you got goin’ on here… >>> Pretty good beat start here; gets me anticipated (as always)! Tha titles are mixed up still, so I ain’t gonna say anything ‘cept pick out tha titles from tha mixed up list. Anyway, GREAT hook on this shit, as you ARE “the truth” wit this shit right here! Quality Baton Rouge music right here that keeps it street! Pretty good rappin’ goin’ on here in tha 1st verse, so props ta you. Tha 2nd verse here, and “when real niggaz see you, they speak;” that’s how you get people ta talk! I hope it happens wit me ‘cause I’m tha one wit tha Autism, and I need people ta approach me vs. me approachin’ them for my socializin’. Feelin’ tha “middle school, sellin’ drugs” part; gangsta shit here! I thought there was gonna be a 3rd verse, although there wasn’t. Kinda made me hungry for anotha verse, but I’m glad you talkin’ at tha end! My Rating: 4.4

Wow, tha next song iz 5:43!! I wonder who gon be on dis one wit you? REALLY lookin’ forward!!! >>> Well, I seemed too anticipated ‘cause tha beat kinda slow for a start… You got “2 kids?” How old are you? Pretty good lyrics in tha 1st verse, although tha “What You Won’t Do” song sounded betta. This one iz “Fly Away”; tha hook sounds like you need ta stay where you at in BR. I know there are trouble times, but I’m DYIN’ ta hit BR and meet buku people, ya dig! Pretty good shit goin’ on in tha 2nd verse about what goin’ on wit you. Nice job wit tha lyrics keepin’ you up in tha 3rd verse too. Real long-ass ending wit tha beat here; could’ve been cut. My Rating: 3.7

Maybe this song’ll get me more on track… >>> Huh? What’s wit tha Flo Rida “Birthday” beat? I thought this whole CD was original beats? Anotha not-so plus for me. A lil’ too long wit tha talkin’ in tha beginning, but let’s see what you got… Sounds like a lyrical flow that’s great goin’ on in tha 1st verse. Great shit, ESPECIALLY tha “math” part! I guess this iz tha “It’s Your Birthday” song ‘cause of tha jacked beat title? Tha rest iz good, but that Wayne “feed me rappers or feed me beats” iz kinda ehh… This iz REAL GOOD, and would be better if tha beat was original ‘cause tha jacked beatness fucks me up a lil’… Hope there ain’t anymore jacked beats on this CD! Either way, REAL GREAT hook wit tha “rollin’ on dat X” shit goin’ on here; REAL NICE!! Tha 1st verse here, and it sounds like you RIPPIN’ dis beat right here!! REAL addictin’ beat here!! Someone else iz here on tha 2nd verse… My bad for bein’ confused here; I’ll have ta ask you. Dat dude doin’ tha damn thang here; I like how he says “my boy.” Great shit here, so that’s a PLUS! Tha 3rd verse iz here, and it sounds EVEN BETTA this time wit tha style!! Yea, TOP shit right here!!! He REALLY did his thang right there!! LOL @ tha barkin’ once again!! My Rating: 4.7


½time: Sounds like this a REAL NICE CD right here (I knew it)!! Really feelin’ it, although I wish tha tracklisting wasn’t so confusing tha way you listed it. I’m REAL GLAD you hooked up wit a bunch of people for your track, as well as dat GREAT producer you got!! Average CD rating iz currently a NICE 4.4!!!


09. “Suck My Dick”
Much shorter here (2:32). Hope you DO IT BIG for this length!! >>> Not good beat here as it’s “Baton Rouge vs. Baton Rouge”! Heard Yung Yola & D.$.G. do “Doing My Dance” on dis beat. You soundin’ good on dis shit, as well as your voice; catches onto your rhymes & what you’re sayin’. I guess this “K-Street Crew”? I don’t know… Tha hook iz pretty catchy wit your “K-Street Music” shit. I know you kinda doin’ your own thang now, but it all good. Tha 2nd verse here, and it sounds like more of preachin’ than rappin’. Sounded like a freestyle, but yea, it aight. Tha 1st verse was still good though, but I don’t undastand how you had this beat when Yola & D.$.G. had it 1st; iz this a non-Baton Rouge beat? It can’t be ‘cause Yung Yola & D.$.G.’s whole CD that came out, “99 Wayz 2 Grind”, was all original beats. My Rating: 3.5

We got 4:50 on tha length this time; I REALLY need anotha improvement, as well as a CORRECT title too!! >>> Neva mind, no more anticipation here if you REALLY havin’ tha Lloyd/Ashanti “Southside” beat here; wish I could skip! I thought there were only 2 lyrical songs on tha CD? Very boring, gay soundin’ on tha imitation hook too. Yuck at how you said tha title wit tha “in tha SOUTH SIDE” part; ewe… There’s talkin’ at tha end, and there’s still 2+ minutes left? Huh? Why did tha hook have ta repeat? Aight, I stopped it at 4:00 ‘cause it seems like it just tha beat left. My Rating: 1.7

*Yawn* What’s next? >>> Anotha slow intro? What happened to this CD?! Betta have GOOD lyrical lyrics for me ta be impressed!! Well, it sounds like some lyricalness in tha 1st verse here. Still, a very fucked up beat, especially its tempo! Pretty good 1st verse, and tha hook somewhat good/aight; what’s tha title? Can’t make out what it iz… Tha 2nd verse was shorter, but still pretty good. I felt tha 1st verse betta though; it was sad that Left Eye & Aaliyah died innocently. Tha 3rd verse has more emotion. You fucked wit Lil’ Ivey? Thanx for tha fact! Why do so many people die, and WHY ARE SO MANY PEOPLE GREEDY ABOUT MONEY?!? Are any black people in BR Autistic? I feel like there’s no Autistic people in Louisiana that are in tha Rap business but me; odd. My Rating: 3.6

Aight so far wit you on it. Okay, I see tha hook, and I think I made out tha title bein’ “Top Lunch Meat” (based off tha words in tha hook). Aight start to tha 2nd verse from you; nothin’ really ta say, but GREAT sexual lyrics! Here comes dat 3rd verse from Bubba, and it sounds like life was brought into dis song, so that’s watz good! LOL, you didn’t put him in tha feature. Pretty good, but he didn’t accept my MySpace friend request yet? My Rating: 3.9

What’s wit tha extreme confusion wit this CD? I like tha “Rap labels slept on me like a soft pillow” part ta start tha 2nd verse off. That’s who it sounds like; Macboney. Sounds like a “I’m Ready” title, but I don’t even see that in tha tracklisting… You’re on tha 2nd verse, and you’re soundin’ good this time ‘round. Nice “September 11; because I’m bad news” part! I hear Lil’ Bubba ‘bout ta come up… LOL @ me knowin’ tha feature before tha title! Pretty good on his part, but if he “on a misson for tha stacks,” he should keep in touch wit me. Why iz it always me that has ta call tha person 1st? Sounds like someone featured iz talkin’ in tha beginning? This iz “K-Street Crew”? LOL, then what were those otha 2 songs I thought were this song? Sounds like someone else iz on this. Compared to tha otha titles/featured artists, this sounds like a poor ending song. Okay 1st verse. You’re on tha 2nd verse here, and you’re soundin’ pretty good wit tha gangsta shit here. Soundin’ like a pretty good Streets (if that’s his name) dude on tha 3rd verse, doin’ a NICE job wit tha way he sounds on this shit! Great job wit how he delivered dis shit to tha fullest!
