Time for more reviewz, as I’m in tha middle of a change of life, here, with my accident and err-thang… Thanx to Way 3000, I am now hearing of Luv, whose full stage name iz Duke Luv. This his CD from last year, In The Trap, released on Str8 Drop Entertainment! Duke’s also tha founder of Str8 Drop Entertainment, as well… Start Time: 6:20 PM | End Time: 7:04 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Startin’ off a CD with one of my favorite co-workers’ birthdayz on tha length! Can’t imagine how to first-hear you wit 3:07 on tha length! >>> Sounds dope wit this beat! “Kane on tha track?” Did I hear right? Sounds like a dope hook; definitely official, here! Luvin’ tha screwed voice ta go wit your regular voice! Likin’ tha “All Hustle, No Luck” reference (Lantana), too… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and you official wit it, here; good shit… I like your grind, here; definitely a great startin’ song and first-time hearin’ you… And, tha 2^nd verse’s pretty nice, too; good shit! My Rating: 4.4

>>> I’ono if I’m feelin’ this; not diggin’ tha voice on tha hook… Tha beat ain’t too bad, here; at least it’s a normal, Baton Rouge sound… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it ain’t bad, here… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse from this unknown rapper and he sounds focused; good shit… And, we have a long beat outro, here, over a minute long… Finally, we get a producer ID: Big Wayne!! My Rating: 3.4

03. “No Giving Up” feat. Money Bagz & Dougie Jay

>>> Sounds like a hot beat, here; definitely nice! Hearin’ tha hook and tha singing’s betta, here; definitely feelin’ this Baton Rouge vibe! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse from you and you holdin’ shit down! Gotta “not [give] a fuck,” ya dig? Hearin’ Mr. $$$ on tha 2^nd verse, here, consistently spittin’ dat quality, Baton Rouge music, here! Facts to tha fullest at all times! Neva failin’!! I like how tha beat slammed at tha end, almost like a double sound! My Rating: 4.3

>>> Guss made this beat! Dope beat; nice hook, here… As far as tha 1^st verse goes, listen to this: consistency at its finest! Feelin’ tha fast rhymes! If these rhymes were slower, I’d prolly not like ‘em… I’d prolly pick out some mainstream lyrics but it’s rapped fast to where there’s a lot to absorb! Tha 2^nd verse sounds gay wit this voice effect; no need for feedback! Fuck these lyrics, too! Keepin’ it movin’ wit you on tha 3^rd verse, here, soundin’ nice wit your buildin’ status, here… My Rating: 3.5

Looks anticipatin’, here! >>> Sounded like I heard “Joe On The Track?” Either way, definitely dope Baton Rouge shit, here! Definitely feelin’ tha hook; all hyped-up, here! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s pretty nice; great, consistent shit, here! Gotta luv when err-body be keepin’ it gangsta, ya dig? Dope debut fa ATC! Here you are on tha 2^nd verse and it’s pretty nice; props fa keepin’ it consistent! Time fa tha Harley!! Hearin’ Harley Ken on tha 3^rd verse and he soundin’ dope, here; good shit! An example of someone who filters tha bitches out! My Rating: 4.5

06. “Need Love” feat. Dougie Jay

I’ont think this gon be good enough fa me… >>> A lil’ slower and it ain’t just a singin’ hook, but a singin’ 1^st verse! I’ll just let it pass on by and see what else iz good… A decent hook; let’s see what’s good wit you on tha 2^nd verse, here… Hearin’ you on tha 2^nd verse and it’s aight…; nothin’ really fa me ta say… And, tha singin’ continues, here…; I’m bored… My Rating: 2.3

½time: Was pretty nice till tha “Need Love” track hurt tha CD rating… Either way, it may only be a 3.7-rated CD, at tha moment, but I’m definitely feelin’ tha original production and tha lineups you have on tha tracks! Definitely an excellent 1^st time hearin’ you; good shit!

07. “Str8 Drop Everything” feat. Tim Teezy

Damn, y’all forgot tha “Y” in “Everything” on tha back cover… >>> Ooh @ this beat intro!! Definitely 100% pure with La’Keith on tha track!! Tha hook’s pretty dope; definitely feelin’ tha screwed voice hook, again! Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse and it’s pretty nice; good shit… Keepin’ it movin’ wit TT on tha 2^nd verse, here, doin’ his thang… Prolly tha best beat on here but, surprisingly, I’m feelin’ a few otha songs betta… My Rating: 4.4

08. “Win”

A solo track, here… >>> Ooh, we got Haney on tha track! Anotha nice beat, here, wit you winnin’ on this hook; dope! Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse and you keepin’ your grind movin’…; nice… Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2^nd verse, here, and it’s not bad; you keepin’ it movin’… My Rating: 4.2

09. “Cashout” feat. Tyrico

>>> Only 2:14 on tha length and a dope beat start, here! Definitely feelin’ tha energy, here, wit this Tyrico dude on tha hook… Tha 1^st verse’s pretty nice, here; definitely dope from Tyrico! And, you on tha 2^nd verse, here, soundin’ nice ta hear; good shit! My Rating: 4.2

>>> Sounds like a nice start wit Big Wayne doin’ this track, here; definitely dope! Hearin’ tha hook and tha both of y’all doin’ a nice job, here… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse from you and you just holdin’ these undaground streetz down! What else? It’s all about tha undaground!! And, we got Lady B on tha 2^nd verse, here, helpin’ you out…; good collab… My Rating: 4.1

11. “Take A Ride” feat. Tim Teezy
>>> Sounds like a smooth, dope beat, here… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s definitely nice! This makes me “wanna take a ride witchu,” ya kno what I’m sayin’? Like, a great Baton Rouge tour or somethin’, kinda like what Way 3000 gave me, ya dig? Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s pretty nice from you, here… Tim Teezy on tha 2^nd verse, here, comin’ through wit dat good shit fa tha streetz, ya dig? My Rating: 4.2

12. “Put It In They Life” feat. Sweet Jones

>>> Time fa more Big Wayne heat, here, ya dig? Definitely dope beat, here! Gotta love tha sounds! Tha hook’s pretty nice, here; gotta keep it movin’! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and you got shit on lock, here; definitely dope! Now, we got Sweet Jones on tha 2^nd verse, here… I’ono if he should name himself “Sweet Jones” ‘cause that was Pimp C’s nickname… I have to say, a younger, slower version of Level, here? That’s what it sounds like… It’s like if Level spit mainstream bullshit, in a way… Either way, gotta luv tha last line: “225 all ova my stomach, bitch!” My Rating: 4.3

13. “Work” feat. Mista Cain & Tim Teezy

>>> Couldn’t detect tha producer, here… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s too simple… Ugh! Actually, it gets me jealous ‘cause technically, at my job, I’m like tha Boosie/Gates and “all I do iz work!” Still, I don’t get treated right, tho… But yeah, fuck tha hook, lol! Hearin’ Mista on tha 1^st verse and he has, almost like a near-Kevin-Gates-soundin’ voice, as far as how deep it’s goin’, on this verse… Still, nice; I can fuck wit it betta than tha hook… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and I almost thought it was Young Buck fa a second, lol… Lots of references I’m makin’, here… Still, not bad wit this verse… And, endin’ it witchu on tha 3^rd verse, here, soundin’ nice ta hear… “28 x 5 + 9, 9x,” huh? Well, that’s 140 + 81 = 221? That’s what I got… Almost thought it was gon be 225 or somethin’… Either way, definitely a nice verse! Even tho tha hook a guilty pleasure, I’ll give it a betta rating than I thought I’d give it… My Rating: 4.3

Overall: I thought this was great, ya dig? I believe this iz your 2^nd CD; I don’t have your 1^st one, Str8 Drop, tho… I’m not sure where I can cop that at… Either way, definitely nice wit all these producers and tha features you have on your CD! Good shit! Keep up tha great work! I see you ain’t log into yo Twitter since last year? Gotta keep yourself alive! Don’t give up! Shout out to err-body on this project!

My next review for today iz Bumaye Music Group’s Que Tha Truth 24 Karat G.O.L.D. (Gangstaz Only Live 4 Death). Also wanted to mention that not too long ago, my review prices for requested/non-Louisiana CDs went up to $30 each. One main reason, as I discussed it over with my friends, was ‘cause of how many songs appear on a CD/how long each CD iz. Example: This CD has 19 songs. My friends were like, “Wow, 19? Not, like, 12 or so,” and especially that they’re almost 80 minutes long! You know I gotta be paid at least $20.00 an hour when I do things for people! Start Time: 9:58 PM | End Time: 10:59 PM

Luger Beats on tha production, here; not no Rich or anyone? >>> Really? Why tha Nu$$ie “Bumaye” in tha beginning? Don’t tell me that’s why you named your label, “Bumaye Music Group,” right? Why name somethin’ after someone dead? Kinda sounds like you can’t let go of tha past or somethin’… But, good hook with an okay beat, though it’s very mainstream-soundin’… Tha 1^st verse sounds okay, so far… Hearin’ tha hook for tha 2^nd time, and it sounds real catchy wit tha Egyptian perspective! Tha 2^nd verse kinda sounds like yada-yada wit tha feelin’-like-a-supastar rhymes, but it ain’t bad… My Rating: 4.0

02. “Lennox”

LOL, I shouldn’t’ve opened my mouth so fast about tha previous production ‘cause La’Keith’s on this beat! >>> Not really into a speech in tha beginning, here… This a La’Keith beat? Complete disappointment, though I’m kinda feelin’ tha East Coast vibe. This’ll go down as a novelty fa me, but whateva. A lil’ on tha boring side with this lyrical shit; rhymes are good, but this ain’t catchy for a song… Tha hook sounds weird, too; anotha minus! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse; why can’t you just go by “Que,” like you did, previously? Why does everyone have ta have “Tha” in their name—I know I do, but I neva changed my name, outta nowhere? Also, an auto-positive word, like “truth” or “realest”? Usually, that makes people fake—not saying you are, but it makes ‘em like that, most of tha time! “Part-time drug dealer” on tha 3^rd verse, huh? Hearin’ this beat, and it don’t sound like drug material… My Rating: 3.6

03. “Pi$$ Poor” Feat. Diablo
La’Keith beat! >>> This sounds more like it! Feelin’ how Diablo comes through on tha hook with how he started! Then again, this a money song, and knowin’ that I ain’t hear Diablo in a long time, I can’t take this money shit too serious. Not sayin’ that he fake, but I just don’t get tha obsession of money when you’re M.I.A.! Unless he just a hook man? Your 1^st verse went by quick… Good rhymes you spit, here; keep ‘em comin’! Tha 2^nd verse sounds pretty catchy and consistent! This sounds more entertainin’ than tha shit you was spittin’ on tha previous song. Thought there’d be a 3^rd verse, but tha hook repeated… If there’s all this “got a lotta doe,” how come you haven’t sent a ton my way, as far as me makin’ commercials, or buyin’ beats from me, or somethin’? Can’t be quiet like everyone else! My Rating: 4.6

An “important” producer on tha production, here (Haney)! >>> Feelin’ tha production, here! Sounds like you’re deliverin’ a catchy hook; nice! Fast rhymes comin’ outta tha 1^st verse; nice, but why err-body rappin’ fast, these dayz? Tha 2^nd verse iz consistent, too; you’ll prolly neva fall on your face! My Rating: 4.3

05. “Money-Makin’ Mitch” Feat. Diablo

Anotha La’Keith beat, but I’m not into this title at all! >>> Not anotha speech! I like tha “brick” shit, but not all tha “money” obsession parts, as far as tha hook goes… Tha 1^st verse ain’t bad from you, here… Tha 2^nd verse sounds a lil’ cocky. Like, at times, I think, why say, “They pockets broke,” when I haven’t seen anything from you, yet. Then again, I can agree wit what you’re sayin’ ‘cause damn-near err-body in Louisiana broke as fuck, and don’t even wanna do business wit me! Not sure why, but now, we got Diablo, randomly comin’ into tha 2^nd verse without a hook transition… Kinda sounds like yappin’, but it ain’t bad. Not bad, but that wasn’t good that there was no hook in between your verse and his… My Rating: 3.7

06. “Ambitionz Of A Rider” Feat. Kareem

Big B beat; don’t I know this already? If not, I’m not diggin’ this borrowed title! >>> Nice beat start, but this slowly gettin’ weaker for me, especially that feature’s voice! Gross “Twitter” & “inbox” lyrics, too! You really don’t need ta make 210348723403240238432043289420349 songs per CD, now! Damn, this 4:31? C’mon, now! Tha hook turned out ta be not as bad as I expected, surprisingly… Tha 2^nd verse’s a lil’ boring with tha delivery, here… Tha rest of this iz ehh… My Rating: 1.9

Klassics beat. >>> Beat sounds cool, here. Tha beat’s gettin’ cooler and feelin’ colder with tha sounds, as it progresses throughout tha 1^st verse!! Catchy rhymes from you fa tha streetz, too! “Polo boxers;” where you get them from? Neva seen ‘em anywhere… I don’t even know where a “Polo” store iz, regularly. I’ve only seen ‘em in places where you can’t stop moving (e.g., Atlantic City), where you don’t have time to explore. Either way, tha 2^nd verse has consistent rhymes, so props on that. My Rating: 4.4

DopeBoy beat. >>> Got no time fa you havin’ dick in your mouth; no way!! My Rating: 1.0

09. “Dreams Come True”

Guss beat. >>> Does Guss not like cousins, anymore? Well, this track sounds a lil’ too soft fa me. Tha beat’s soft/not Guss’ style, and tha hook has a money-ova-reputation topic! Yuck! Tha 1^st verse aight; let’s see what tha 2^nd one—regular talkin’ that sounds like a speech before tha 2^nd verse… Okay, what’s goin’ on, here? Rather’ve this been tha last song on this CD. My Rating: 2.4

½time: Kinda shaky with tha ratings, so far… Some are pretty nice, some are decent, and then, there’s a few ones that are really outta my league! All together, you’re only at a 3.3 for tha CD rating, currently.

Klassics beat. >>> Kinda 50/50 wit this beat: Like, a harp? I like ‘em, but this ‘pose ta be Baton Rouge, and rap music, right?! Rhymes on tha 1^st verse’s ehh…, not bad. Tha hook not that special fa me; what’s with tha alternated voice? Tha 2^nd verse okay, but this joint ain’t fa me, overall. My Rating: 2.6

Luger Beats beat. >>> Can’t be bothered with tha gay voice!! My Rating: 1.0

12. “iLoveA!!MyNigga$”
Barber Beats; a title I can’t relate to at all!! >>> Sounds better, but like I said, I can’t relate to this, and neva will! Goin’ through my Instagram right now, and when I look at people postin’ pics with/of other people around, I think, “Did you have a kid or somethin’,” lol? But, tha 1^st verse’s rhymes ain’t too bad; sounds like you’re dedicated. Then again, how do you get people ta “love”? Tha 2^nd verse sounds like random rappin’. On topic, but why “get money witcha;” sounds impossible, since people rob people!! Hearin’ tha hook one last time, and when you say, “Fuck all y’all niggaz,” it’s basically sayin’ that you’re just like everyone else: Cool ta ignore, hoes on my dick, I hate dudes, but I have 12039403424902340234 dudes with me; weird. My Rating: 3.2

13. “Manic Depression”

AJ Beats; interestin’ title? >>> “Tryna be a kid with a kid;” noooo! That’s what ruins today’s rappers in tha undaground! It’s almost like they wanna quit!! I’ve dealt with many young dads, and they’re great at ignoring! And, most importantly, they lie about havin’ money!! Needless to say, I’m feelin’ tha consistent, real-life rhymes you spittin’, here! But, as far as kids, at least wait ‘til you’re 30! I’m 25, and I see myself havin’ kids at least anotha decade from now! I’m too focused on my career and stayin’ consistent! I know that’s not cool to most folks, but that’s what I wanna do and ‘cause I’m autistic, that’s what I have ta do! Tha 2^nd verse sounds aight, too… A 3^rd verse, too? Good rhymes, but kinda a boring song, overall, due to tha beat. My Rating: 3.5

14. “Confessions Of A King”
Austin Rashaad beat. I love how no one goes by “Lil’” anymore. When did they know to not use “Lil’” anymore, lol? >>> Anotha producer not producin’ music he was destined to produce, smh. Iz everyone on an Avicii tip with not stickin’ to a loyal sound? What’s with these lame vocals on tha hook? Sounds like a jacked version of Pimp C! Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse, and tha rhymes are catchy. But, just like tha previous joint, tha beat’s weak/too soft, so it makes me like this a lot less. More on tha acapella-like tip fa tha end; interestin’, but not for this Lil’ Austin that I knew! My Rating: 3.1

15. “No Matter What”

La’Keith beat. >>> WTH? This La’Keith? Sounds like Lenny Kravitz or somethin’, instead! Minus tha rock sound, I’m feelin’ tha beat behind it… Thought you were gonna recycle tha Geto Boys in tha 1^st line with “I stand alone in my room…,” but your rhymes wound up bein’ good. Hearin’ tha hook, and I’m likin’ how this has an older vibe to it. Kinda borderline ‘90s rap; nice feel… Sounds like some fightin’-like theme goin’ on wit tha 2^nd verse; good verse. Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse, and tha lyrics are catchy and consistent! Nice ta hear a track like this, but La’Keith needs ta stay in his lane! My Rating: 4.3

16. “Prayer Work$”
La’Keith beat. >>> Not diggin’ tha piano in tha beginning; where tha synths at? Iz bein’, like, 28 tha new 68, when it comes ta life? You’re still young, La’Keith! A lil’ soft fa me wit tha production, here, and tha hook’s kinda soft with these “God got somethin’ betta fa me” rhymes… Tha 1^st verse has okay rhymes, but once again, this anotha boring track… You really should’ve had, like, 12 or less jointz on here, instead of showin’ off like everyone else wit 18/19 on here, clockin’ at over 70 minutes! Tha 2^nd verse ain’t too bad, here… My Rating: 2.5

17. “IDK How 2 Feel” Feat. Max Minelli

Mystro beat. >>> Okay, I’m likin’ this beat! Talk about this producer stayin’ in his lane and not ‘changing’ ta be cool, when they become more lame!! Catchy hook, too, especially wit tha “neva take naps!” Funny how you “tryna make it out tha trap;” I’m dyin’ ta make it out this music-promoting garbage that I’m stuck in! I gotta start settin’ barriers up for 2014, and make sure no one hits me up! Needless ta say, you doin’ a good job wit tha 1^st verse, too… Tha 2^nd verse sounds consistent, too; good rhymes! Max sounds nice and consistent on tha 3^rd verse, too! Good shit! Nice endin’ about tha “head from an ugly chick,” Max! My Rating: 4.4

18. “H.A.T.E. (Highly Aggrivated Towards Excellence)” Feat. Lil’ Phat

Boo beat. Damn, I thought I could go a whole CD of yours without reviewin’ dead artists, but I guess not, smh! >>> This old song? You only put this on here ‘cause Phat died! Point-blank, period! If this was a new song, DJ B-Real would watch my videos and answer my texts/Facebook messages, rofl! We live in a different world, now, though I still remain loyal to answering! My Current Rating: 4.2

19. “Million-Dolla Dreamin’”

Rich doin’ tha production ta end this off… Uh, not really my kinda title, so let’s see how this’ll end this CD off… >>> Really nice beat in tha beginning, despite there bein’ a beat tag! Not tha kinda voice I expected on tha hook, but thanx to tha beat, this sounds better than average… Rhymes are good, here; this an okay song… Tha hook sounds betta than some of tha soft shit on here, at least. My Rating: 3.7

Overall: I have ta say, at least there was no Nu$$ie songs, even though wit tha rate this went, there prolly should’ve been—well, maybe not him, but tha vibe of Nu$$ie-featuring songs. Surprisingly, I’ll have ta admit that it’s not bad! Tha 1^st verse even caught me off-guard, too… All I have ta say iz that tha ID should be flipped, and Ville Boyz should be toward tha end. Tha 2^nd verse sounds good, until all tha “B-Raw” references come outta nowhere… It’s like, how obsessed can y’all be?! Scary…; I bet this obsession just slides like it’s nothin’, smh! I’m sure he’d get a boner knowin’ that I’m quittin’ tha music-promoting soon! Wishes do come true, it seems like? Just waitin’ for that door to open! Too many broke dudes who don’t acknowledge me! That’s what’s ‘cool’ in this business, sadly! My Rating: 3.5 (would’ve been as high as a 4.4, but that 2^nd verse really threw me off!)

I don’t really feel when today’s rappers are sampled on hooks. I can see where you’re comin’ from, since this iz a “Shout Out.” I guess I’ll let it slide… Tha 1^st verse sounds like you know what’s goin’ on. Almost a lil’ obsessed wit Phat, here, but of course, you’re ‘typical’ amongst peers, so everything slides with you… Commentin’ you wit his shout out: It’s not like I made a song wit Nu$$ie shoutin’ me out. Sounds like Q-Black on tha 2^nd verse; not listed? At least he comin’ through wit crazy shit! I thought this was a bangin’ joint; nice job! My Rating: 4.6

Overall: This went over relatively smooth… It seems like you have shit on lock wit tha original production. I know tha previous CD had original production on it, but there was too much yada-yada, 2010s generation style. Either way, keep up tha good work!
