Review #1,818: OG Chill "Trap Daddy (Hosted by DJ Wookee)"

Reviewed on 10.10.2019 (Review #1,818)

I finna review OG Chill Trap Daddy (Hosted by DJ Wookee), right nah, courtesy of Back Doh Entertainment. I believe this was released in 2014, accordin’ to Chill’s SoundCloud. Unfortunately, Chill unexpectedly passed away on March 23, of this year; he was 47. He’s known for bein’ cool wit Savage, as well as bein’ featured on tha 2007 CD by Uptown All-Stars, Uptown All-Stars Vol. 2: The Shake Back (ID’d as “Big Chill”, at times). Now, thanx to SoundCloud, I can present a review, right nah! No titles, officially, so I had to guess ‘em… Start Time: 4:32 PM | End Time: 5:04 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

© 2019 CD Review (Review #1,818) reviewed on 10.10.2019 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Cocaine” feat. Racked-Up Ready
>>> Nice hyped-up intro from Wookee, here; Crook Muzik Music Group in tha buildin’! Got you on tha 1st verse, Chill, comin’ through wit some Rick Ross-styled shit, between tha flow & this beat… I have ta say, even tho nothin’ really strikes wit this, overall, it’s good fa tha drug game, I guess? At least tha hook’s catchy wit tha percentage of tha “Cocaine,” as you mix it wit all tha good shit, here (tha “purp,” mainly); good shit! Oh, got Racked-Up Ready on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit a lil’ aggression, like he always does… Good job wit this feature; keep tha good shit comin’! My Rating: 4.0

02. “I Sells It”
>>> Anotha beat that’s kinda mainstream-y/Ross-y but tha hook’s nice. I’m diggin’ tha hustle, here; no wonder why Savage loved you… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it str8, tho not special fa me… Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2nd verse, here & it’s really just rappin’, in my opinion. Nothin’ extra-catchy ta grab my earz but at least it ain’t wack… My Rating: 3.6

03. “Eat” feat. C-Loc
>>> Anotha nice intro from Wookee, here, providin’ dat crack! Grubbin’ on tha hook, here, as it sounds good ta always “Eat!” Finally, after all these years, thanx ta my lower back pain, I done gained weight up ta 138! I used ta only peak at 117 before highs, 125 durin’ highs & now, 138 since my lower back X-rayz! With that bein’ said, sounds like anotha good/okay 1st verse from you, Chill; can’t complain. I just think tha beats you rappin’ on sound too alike & too much like tha mainstream, southern rap shit… Got C-Loc on tha collab, here, comin’ through wit his grimy voice fa tha 2nd verse. No matta tha day or age, Loc has known ta hold it down! He got a lil’ more ta offer in tha flow/voice than you do, Chill; that’s why he gets bonus props… My Rating: 3.7

04. “Bricks”
>>> A lil’ betta wit tha beat start, here; let’s see how we do… Sounds catchy fa tha hook wit these “Bricks;” likin’ your flow, this time! Beat ain’t boring, neither… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and you shine brighta wit this beat; nice goin’…! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it sounds good wit what you’re continuin’ ta bring to tha table… My Rating: 4.2

½time: A 3.9-rated CD, so far, based off tha total of eight tracks I have fa this disc. Not too much ta offer, despite bein’ on par wit tha content. Nothin’ wack, here; let’s see how we keep it goin’…

05. “Get-Money Fiend”
>>> This beat I can fuck wit; not bad & I’m likin’ tha sounds… Hearin’ tha hook and it kinda sounds catchy wit your flow. I’m not a “Get-Money” song-kinda guy but this a cool lil’ anthem… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and tha rappin’ str8; good lil’ shit, here… Got a feature on tha 2nd verse, here; I can’t make out they voice, tho… Sounds like a good lil’ voice; feelin’ this Louisiana-soundin’ delivery, too, fa tha undaground… It’s all about dem “Jeans,” it seems like? I dig it, especially dat I have some valuable ones (Yoropiko)! My Rating: 3.8

06. “Money Time”
>>> Anotha Wook intro; nice, even tho, why a Sonny Digital beat? No wonder why these beats don’t strike me; mainstream/jacked beats! Now, this ain’t my kinda “money” song! Tha last song had a catch to it but this iz pure typical! Can hear it from any1! Tha 1st verse don’t really got anythang ta offer, here; no interest… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and yeah, way too typical of any rapper out there fa tha sound! My Rating: 1.2

07. “Take Flight”
>>> An okay 1st verse… Hearin’ tha hook and, iz it jacked? Don’t recognize it but it’s kinda good wit your “shmoke somethin’, nigga” lil’ part ta help out… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s a regular-soundin’ verse fa me; what else can I say…? Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and a feature? Kinda sounds a lil’ deeper on tha voice… It str8 but not too special of a song fa me, here… My Rating: 2.8

08. “We In This Bitch” feat. Lil’ Cali
>>> This beat ain’t too bad, if I’m thinkin’ of it bein’ a typical style… Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds good; nice and anthemic, at least… Got tha 1st verse goin’ on and it’s okay; anotha regular-soundin’ verse from you, here… At 1:09, somethin’ was censored? What are we, a pre-teen? Oh, we got Lil’ Cali on tha 2nd verse; nice collab! Always soundin’ good and, of course, smellin’ “like onion!” Lots of nice,             quick punchlines; good ta have a bonus (feature) on one of your tracks! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it str8; I feel like a 3rd verse drags tha track on, these dayz, but I’ll accept this one… My Rating: 3.9

Overall: Some of this shit was str8 but not really feelin’ tha whole jacked-beat vibe. It’s like, by now, err-body, no matter what year of this decade, should have original beats! Didn’t fuck wit that “Money Time” track, as that brought tha CD rating down a whole half-point, when I rated it! Yuck! Either way, a lil’ more ta review in a lil’ bit; stay tuned…!

Rankings:

08. “Money Time” 1.2
07. “Take Flight” 2.8
06. “I Sells It” 3.6
05. “Eat” feat. C-Loc 3.7
04. “Get-Money Fiend” 3.8
03. “We In This Bitch” feat. Lil’ Cali 3.9
02. “Cocaine” feat. Racked-Up Ready 4.0
01. “Bricks” 4.2

Review #1,298: Young Ready "Family Ties (Hosted by DJ Wookee)"

Reviewed on 7.04.2013 (Review #1,298)

I got my old mini DV tapes converting/resizing on my MacBook, so instead of sittin’ around and doin’ nothin’, I gon do some reviewz, now that I have tha chance… This first one for today iz Young Ready Family Ties (Hosted by DJ Wookee), off of B.O.W. Entertainment & Crook Muzik Music Group! Originally, I wasn’t supposed to review this CD ‘til I got a hard copy in tha mail from Wook. However, by me bein’ a curious dickhead at times, as well as my free time, I’m like, “Okay, I’ll just review it.” Start Time: 1:04 PM | End Time: 1:47 PM

If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

© 2013 CD Review (Review #1,298) reviewed on 7.04.2013 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Intro”
Production from J.Scalez, here (or, Jay Scales, as he’s spelled on tha back cover). How will we start this off? By tha length, it looks like rapping’ll be in this intro! >>> Now, “Racked-Up Ready”? I rather Young Ready; no need for anotha money name to ruin anotha person’s name! Speakin’ of tha names, what about tha most-important dude in Louisiana? Known as DJ B-Real!! Good intro from Wookee; what do I gotta do to get a shout out? What’s up wit tha “Crook Muzik Music Group” tags? Sounds like dicksuckin’ wit how it sounded! Gay!! Anyway, you doin’ a good job rappin’ about these hoes on this Scalez beat! Nice lil’ “Solo Mafia … shout out ta Savage” part! Of course, gotta give tha king a shout out! Bad ending with tha “liking all my pics” and “I ain’t droppin’ my prices” lines. No need for social media, since I rarely hear from you (I still don’t have your # in 2013, after knowin’ you for five years?), as well as people shouldn’t charge! Collabs are only meant for mutual friendships! My Rating: 4.2

02. “Yeah I’m In This Bitch” Feat. Savage
Ooh, yes! Savage on tha beat, too!! >>> “Mobb shit, biatch!!” Nice lil’ hook, here, ova this nice-soundin’, neva-weak beat!! Sav on tha 1st verse; very consistent wit tha rhymes!! So much ta offer on tha 1st verse, here; real nice job, Sav!! Here’s Ready on tha 2nd verse… Good; can’t complain. Nice endin’ skit dat leads into tha next song… My Rating: 4.5

03. “Insurance Policy”
Scalez, provide some nice “insurance” shit fa Ready!! >>> LOL, nice rhymes, “insurance” style! I know Wook send me this song ta listen to; I remember that catchy hook! “Cancel his Christmas;” sounds like I heard this before, but in case I ain’t review it, I have ta say, that’s a pretty gutta/serious rhyme! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too; consistency at its finest! My Rating: 4.5

04. “Sosa Beat”
Ehh, a jacked beat… >>> Not bad, but if you got all original production, there’s really no need for these jacked beats, especially in 2013? Also, why all tha female rhymes? Gangstas don’t spit a ton of rhymes about females; just stick to tha hood! “My Instagram dumb;” nah, no social network references… Where’s Zeus when you need him? He ain’t all ova tha net, and his street credibility iz tha answer why! My Rating: 3.4

05. “Fast Lane” Feat. Danarryl Von
AJC (Tha Kidd AJC?) on tha beat, here… Lookin’ forward to hearin’ this collaboration! >>> Gay vocal start wit this random singer; yuck… Not really off to a good start wit tha rhymes, either, wit tha “countin’ money” shit. When will “money” be faggy to rap about—oh wait, it iz…, but it has to go away!!! Damn, not anotha “costin’ a fee” reference when it comes ta “a verse or a hook.” Ready, why would you want a random white dude wit no street cred on your songs? Like, if he paid you a stack; doesn’t make sense! MUTUAL FRIENDSHIPS ONLY when collaborating on your songs! LOL @ all those “mollys,” for a song like this? Weird… Funny how you said, “Murdafeen,” too (or, did you say, “murda fiend”)? Either way, it’s like a reference to my boy, Murdafeen, so props ta that! My Rating: 2.1

06. “I’m The Truth” Feat. Mista Cain
Not sure who this Yella dude iz on tha beat… However, let’s see what we got wit this… >>> Random excitement in tha beginning; wonder when all that excitement’ll be aimed toward me? Either way, this sounds like one of tha best-soundin’ beats on this CD, so far! Nice job from tha unknown producer!! Good job wit tha hook, too… Got Lil’ Mista on tha 1st verse, here… Just rhymes; that’s it. Here you are on tha 2nd verse… Of course, anotha female reference (“yo bitches got my thang up”); yawn… Also, “money” shit… Again, it’s just rhymes; doesn’t grab my heart’s attention… My Rating: 4.1

½time: So far, this iz a good CD; gotta give you more props for keepin’ ‘em comin’… Currently, 3.8 iz tha value of this CD; how will it continue?

07. “Guap Beat”
>>> Thought this was an interesting beat start ‘til I saw that it wasn’t even an original beat, smh. Bad intro, here, wit all this social networking shit. I gotta give you props fa retweeting my tweets, but wit 1,300 reviewz in, tons of exposure, videos, five years of knowin’ you and more, I should be important ta you automatically, without me havin’ to do all tha initial work… But, I’m not feelin’ tha 1st verse, either; sounds like you’re tryna sell out wit all this “Hold Dat Noise” ‘legend-in-your-own-mind’ perspective, and tha “phone” shit. Well, overall, tha lyrics were trash for me; not too much for me to get excited about, here… My Rating: 2.0

08. “Freestyle” Feat. Lee Banks
An original production wit “Freestyle” as tha title? Boo on tha production; glad ta hear him again… However, you prolly could’ve had a better title fa this… Maybe, have tha jacked beats have “Freestyle” in their titles…? >>> Good start from Wookee on tha intro, as well as Banks with his consistent rhymes… Iz it me, or iz everyone a father in Louisiana, at a young age? I guess my patience with all that heavy sex shit keeps my consistency goin’. If I was a dad, I dunno if my consistency would continue. I feel like there’s too much distraction. Like, you’re 50% rapper/50% dad; 100% focus iz impossible…, unless you’re real bad on tha other end! Here you are on tha 2nd verse… An okay start ‘til you started talkin’ ‘bout your mysterious “phone,” that I neva talked to on. Tha only one I talked to on was Savage’s, back in November 2008. Rhymes, here, are just rhymes; nothin’ special. Why 4:38 for a freestyle? Shouldn’t it be 2:30 less? My Rating: 3.6

09. “Fuck A Nigga” Feat. Dundray & Lil’ Juice
Got Dundray on tha beat, too… >>> Why tha beat tag in tha beginning? When will people learn, instead of followin’ all these stupid trends? But, tha beat don’t sound that bad… This sounds betta than some of tha shit on here; doesn’t even fit on this CD ‘cause of how it has a Baton Rouge sound on it, where this CD’s not really 100% Baton Rouge, fa me… Hearin’ this 1st verse, and it sounds good fa tha vibe… “Free my nigga M Dot & free my nigga 4;” glad M Dot’s outta jail, now! Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse… Betta rhymes from you. I wonder if you’ll be shoutin’ me out when I’m long gone. “When I heard dat shit ‘bout Mista, I could’ve fuckin’ cried;” wow, lots of emotion, here! I dunno who’ll “cry” fa me; I don’t even think I have value to anyone… Well, maybe to B-Real; that’s prolly it… Others, I prolly don’t know about… Back to tha song, we got tha 3rd verse, and it sounds like tha dude on tha 1st verse; that good vibe from tha 1st verse, continuing… Does everyone have friends or somethin’? I don’t know anyone that doesn’t say, “Free,” somebody. I guess it’s Lil’ Juice ‘cause they said, “Rest in peace Lil’ Dundray.” My Rating: 4.3

10. “Understanding Beat”
Noooooooooooo………………… >>> I take off for pre-pasted hooks, too… This ain’t for me at all; why this soft, female shit?! Mixtape, or album?! Fuck, anotha “phone” line!! Ahh, I can’t tolerate these rhymes any longer (2nd verse)!! My Rating: 1.1

11. “Look How That Ass Movin’” Feat. Dundray
Lil’ Ken beat, but why this topic?! >>> Anotha really good-soundin’ beat, but I swear, this doesn’t sound like it belongs on this CD! This belongs on, like, a Pyrex Radio edition or somethin’! Almost thought that was Mista on tha 1st verse, but I guess it’s Lil’ Dundray, comin’ through wit some Mista-soundin’ rhymes… Hey, why this beat sound like DJ B-Real & Zeus’ “It’s Nothin’” off dat Pay Da Producer Vol. 1 CD? Its format iz very similar, hence their similar lengths, too! Anyway, here you are on tha 2nd verse, Ready, but why a reversed word (“Ferneshia”? A name?)? Damn, anotha “call” reference; why?! Either way, I enjoyed this one… My Rating: 4.4

12. “So What” Feat. C-Loc
Endin’ it with a production from… fuck, no one! >>> Good start wit Loc on tha hook, but damn, anotha female reference? I didn’t know hoes were tha essence of keepin’ it 100% street, smh?! Too commercial wit these rhymes from Loc, here, on tha 1st verse and hook… Jumpin’ right inta tha 2nd verse wit you, Ready; let’s see how much longer ‘til a female—“jump from dick ta dick;” okay, somethin’ came up before I could even finish my sentence, smh… I like tha “Toni Braxton” reference about hittin’ “a note,” but too many female references, once again… My Rating: 3.7

Overall: I think I know why Wookee didn’t send me a hard copy of this… I almost thought this was a compilation CD, but it’s just about average for a CD rating; nothin’ spectacular for me… My suggestion for you on future music: Please, don’t go by “Racked-Up Ready;” don’t need anotha artist turning watered-down with a money name! One artist I talked to had a cool name, but then, they turned it into “G-Money”. I swear, I don’t think I wanna even hear their music anymore; I have a unique mind that doesn’t follow others, so I don’t fuck wit typical shit that everyone ‘likes’. Next, if you keepin’ it all tha way street, you need to let go of a bunch of tha female references. Almost every song on this CD had a female reference. Like, where’s tha “Gangsta Bow” shit, or tha shit with Zeus that I grew up to? DJ B-Real gangsta vibes? Maybe, you gotta go back to Camp Life Entertainment again? Or betta yet, just wait for my new album to come in tha future (this year or next year), about news stories in my life! Hope you take these considerations serious… Whether or not I eva hear from you through tha phone again, I just know that I’ll be gettin’ a job in tha video world, real soon, so there might not be anymore phone calls with me… I’ll be communicating with people who write me back and check out my shit!

Review #1,275: Crooked "Gutta % (Hosted by DJ Wookee)"

Reviewed on 2.24.2013 (Review #1,275)

Got two CDs I just got in tha mail to review… This first one, Crooked Gutta % (Hosted by DJ Wookee), was released last year. I didn’t know why I didn’t get it when it first came out ‘cause it would’ve been nice to have you on my 2012 year-end countdown. Even though I got it now, it’s not online, so I somewhat feel good. This CD’s released on Crooked Entertainment/Kajun Music; lookin’ forward to hearing!! Start Time: 9:18 PM | End Time: 10:04 PM

If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. Intro
You got a colon on tha title; what iz it to? >>> Thought there was gonna be a beat in tha background; nice, “gutta” attitude, here!! My Rating: N/A

02. “Full Bananas”
Ooh, I’m hungry fa some Crooked!! However, I dunno if as hungry as tha sexy Havana Brown wantin’ a “Big Banana,” lol! >>> Well, this beat and hook sounds a lot like a mainstream-soundin’ song. I like your “apes” and “bananas” shit, but let’s see how tha verses go… Tha 1st verse sounds good; glad tha flow ain’t on that typical shit, like tha hook! Thumbs up ta these trappin’ rhymes, includin’ tha gangsta shit! Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too; can’t complain about this… Thumbs up fa tha 3rd verse, too, strictly bein’ an undaground head in these streetz! My Rating: 4.2

03. “Wayyy Out”
I like how there’s three “Y”z on tha title! >>> Ooh, my big dawg, DJ Wookee in tha intro! Thumbs up fa him “signin’ in;” he tha shit! Luv him!! Glad he reppin’ for you, Crooked! Oh, this old-ass “Roll Call” beat from Lil’ Jon & The East Side Boyz? Didn’t expect it, but should’ve, since tha previous song sounded a lil’ mainstream. But, catchy hook; sounds like it could be an original track if I wouldn’t’ve known! Tha 1st verse sounds good; glad you “always go solo!” Keepin’ tha rhymes goin’ wit tha 2nd verse, too, reppin’ for dem “Shop Shutters,” too! Of course, glad you lived on tha same block as Big Markee! Keepin’ this shit goin’ wit tha 3rd verse, too! Hope I get to meet you one of these dayz… You just strictly reppin’ to tha fullest, non-stop, here!! My Rating: 4.4

04. “Gotta Get It”
True dat, true dat!! >>> My fuckin’ boy, DJ Wookee, on tha intro!!! I keep forgettin’ he hostin’ this CD! True shit!! Thought this was a familiar title, but this sounds original to me, whether it iz or not! Feelin’ your flow on tha hook; you got shit on lock!! Good rhymes on tha 1st verse, too; true shit about how you startin’ ta get a lil’ buzz! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too; glad you don’t give up wit shit, and you’re keepin’ up wit me! Luv tha last hook when tha beat ends! My Rating: 4.8

05. “Click House” Feat. Lil’ J & Big Nick
I put Lil’ J’s name without tha “ay” ‘cause there’s a Lil’ Jay from Louisiana, who released a Gold Teeth Gator CD back in, like, 2001… Anyway, I remember this one! My Current Rating: 4.7

06. “Stack Ya Paypa”
I remember this title; lemme give it tha full review!! >>> DJ Wookee intro again; luv how he says, “bitch!!!” Fuckin’ luv Wookee!! Well, once again, nice hook, beat, and how you comin’ through on tha track, as usual!! Wish I would’ve gotten this CD when it was out ‘cause I could’ve played this on my now-extinct radio show. But, there are better things I do! Wit all this “paypa” talk, I hope I see at least a stack from you this year! Tha more “paypa” I make from people, tha better tha artist/CD looks! Those that don’t pay don’t get noticed! Good shit on tha verses, comin’ through wit your grimy voice, tha quality, rhymes, and err-thang!! You a fool on dat beat!!! My Rating: 4.7

07. “These Streets”
Let’s hear it! >>> Sounds like H-Town beat… Sounds like a good amount of real rhymes goin’ on, here; feelin’ what you spittin’! “Just made 33 years old February 18;” oh, this must be from 2011? ‘Cause, you “just made 35 years old [this] February 18!” Either way, nice rhymes, continuously! Sounds like you really need an exit plan; I know I’m helpin’ you get out there, ya dig?! “Females all on my dick…;” I thought you was gon say, “Like these Polo boxers,” like on “Out My Body”. But, you changed up tha line, lol. My Rating: 4.3

08. “Gutta Dance”
Let’s see what this iz about… >>> Not wack for a start; I like tha beat you got goin’ on, here, and tha hook sounds great for a “dance!” Great job wit tha 1st verse, too, comin’ through nicely! Don’t mind me, I’m textin’ dat big dawg, Wookee, at tha moment, so I’m not writin’ much… But, tha 2nd verse sounds good wit how you comin’ through as an anti-dancer, lol! Tha 3rd verse sounds like you comin’ through wit some “gutta,” gangsta-type shit; whoa… “All in tha parkin’ lot, smokin’ purple blunts;” true dat!! My Rating: 4.3

09. “I Wish U Would” Feat. Savage Sosa & Lil’ Fee
Ooh @ tha collaboration! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’!! >>> Nice beat; I’m feelin’ tha shit you bringin’ on tha track!! You strictly holdin’ tha streetz down at all times!! Hearin’ tha quality, thinkin’ that this iz from that 2007 Gutta Boy CD I was able to rip for you? Like, you don’t say, “Crooked!,” at tha end of tha lines (which gives me a sign that was from after Nu$$ie died?)… I dunno, but it sounds real nice in tha ’12/‘13!! That 2nd verse iz pretty gutta, too!! Strictly comin’ through wit it, Crooked; you’re attractin’ people wit your “I wish u would” shit, lol! Likin’ tha 3rd verse, too, from Sosa? Grimy shit; you know who ta fuck wit!! You fuck wit some of tha best!! Tha 4th verse sounds pretty nice, too!! Fee in tha buildin’!! My Rating: 4.6

½time: Sounds real nice, tha way I expected, big dawg!! A nice 4.5 for tha CD rating, currently!!!!!

10. “Out My Body”
Nice lil’ DJ Wookee “Crooked” part ta start it off!! You know what it iz wit this! Glad it’s a separated track now! My Current Rating: 4.8

11. “Look @ Me Nah”
I remember this, too! Can’t forget about that Baton Rouge Bad Boi CD!! Nice lil’ beginning about Big Markee added, too!! My Current Rating: 4.6

12. “I’ma Big Dog” Feat. Jarvis & Jiggy Black
Whoo!!! My Current Rating: 4.7

13. “Keep It Warm & Ready”
What could this be about? Either a blunt or sex, lol? >>> Wait, I know this: “Till I See Ya” Feat. Jigga City J-Bo? I’ma hold off on this for now… Then again, whether this tha same song or not, I’ll score it tha way I scored “Till I See Ya”, since that’s on this CD… My Current Rating: 4.3

14. “Jack & Jill Story”
Anotha good re-entry, introducin’ tha hard copy fans tha BR Bad Boi classics! My Current Rating: 4.0

15. “U Don’t Want Dat” Feat. Lil’ Hopeless
Ooh, a real nice feature, here; lookin’ forward ta hearin’!! >>> Wookee intro!! Oh wait, “Let’z Get It”? What’s up wit tha tracklisting??? EDIT: This iz #16 on tha CD, but 15 on tha back cover… Nice intro from Hopeless; glad ta hear him and I hope ta chop it up wit him, soon!! Oh, I recognize this; I know this an ’07 joint—I might’ve radio-edited this as a bonus? I don’t remember, but I neva reviewed it… Crooked, you’re on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit rhymes “like a deadly weapon;” true dat! Ooh, more Hopeless on tha 3rd verse; thank God fa him!!! Just luv thugs like him; this tha type of shit that makes me neva wantin’ ta give up!!! My Rating: 4.8

16. “Let’z Get It”
Oh… My Current Rating: 4.7

17. “Pussy-Azz Nigga” Feat. Bro-Bro
My most-edited song of all-time on my radio show: 244 edits!!! My Current Rating: 4.9

18. “Change Ya Hustle”
I’m still confused about some of tha tracklisting… >>> Oh, an outro from you, here; glad you got that attitude at all times!! Feelin’ your beginning, here, wit that “dirty money ta clean money,” tryna get up from tha streetz! Good rhymes comin’ outta tha 1st verse; good shit, Crooked! Tha hook sounds good, here; nice job wit how you comin’ through on tha hook… Good shit comin’ through on tha rest of tha track, here… My Rating: 4.4

Overall: Real nice CD, Crooked, and great picks from tha previous CDs to add to this one!! Also, I see on tha back cover you put my name; that’s dope!!! Funny that I got on tha back cover without bein’ told; usually, I got people tellin’ me, and I feel that I had to do a lot to capture their attention to get on tha back cover! But, that’s real, real nice!!! Luv ya fa dat!!! Keep up tha great work!!! Funny how “Jack & Jill Story” prevented you from tha five-star-rated CD tha last time. Now, it was good enough to make this a five-star-rated CD!! Gotta also give big shout outs, once again, to DJ Wookee; a fuckin’ great dude!! Luv how he be comin’ through on tha texts; I always say it: I fuckin’ luv that word “bruh,” and Wookee, you got a shitload of luv from me, all day!!

Review #1,239: Bigg Dawg a.k.a. C-Loc "Old Law / New School (Hosted by DJ Big House)"

Reviewed on 12.30.2012 (Review #1,239)

This next review iz Camp Life Entertainment’s Bigg Dawg a.k.a. C-Loc Old Law / New School (Hosted by DJ Big House). BTW, why tha extra name, so many songs, and why a mixtape? I thought you were about makin’ albums, Loc? Start Time: 4:52 PM | End Time: 5:15 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! 01. Bigg Dawg Speaks
>>> Good that this has an original beat behind it. Nice lil’ speech; I like how Big House sounds wit that police phone and all dat. My Rating: N/A

02. “Bigg Dawg”
>>> Randomly, a sex song? Who would’ve thought you’d say, “eat dat dick up;” reminds me of anyone born in tha ‘90s when I hear dat… But, this sounds good wit tha beat and it’s nice and quick… I honestly thought it was gonna be about drugs… My Rating: 3.9

03. “Pour Up”
>>> Good production… Sounds good for a celebration song; nice job wit tha hook and what you be spittin’…; get it? Spittin’ ‘cause you poured too much “up,” lol? My Rating: 4.0

04. “7 Figures” Feat. Chico
How’d you collaborate wit these people? I thought I knew more than most peeps in Louisiana? >>> You sound good on this beat; anotha one you can’t deny, even though what’s up wit all tha “keepin’ bitches” lines throughout these songs? I guess Chico’s just on tha hook? Thought I’d hear a verse from him, but it’s still a good collaboration. My Rating: 4.2

05. “Stacks On Deck” Feat. Lil’ Boosie
Oldie!! My Current Rating: 4.4

06. “O.G.” Feat. Bun B & Z-Ro
Why this old-ass song? I was so faggy in ’09!!! My Current Rating: 4.0

07. “Wednesday”
>>> Nice and short length, which iz good ta have. Quick and not much ta say, but it’s interestin’ ta have a weekday as tha title. My Rating: 4.0

08. “Shoot First” Feat. Lil’ Phat
>>> Got Wodieson on tha beat, here… I wish this was more gangsta; where are tha shots, or sound effects? At least there’s special effects, but I thought it would go tha extra mile like a Young Ready song… Either way, good collaboration wit Phat; sounds like he was havin’ a lil’ fun while recordin’ this wit you… My Rating: 4.4

09. “Adapt” Feat. Big Boon & E-Vicious
Big Boon? Am I seein’ that correctly? I thought that was Big Boom… >>> Good for rappin’; nice beat ta rap on and good job collaboratin’… It’s interestin’ ta hear some Vicious in tha 2010s! My Rating: 3.9

10. “Miss My Dog” Feat. Lil’ Phat
>>> Time fa a Mod Productions beat… Fuck, why I gotta hear tha beat tag more than once? Such a turn-off in this fuckin’ 2010s generation!! Points bein’ takin’ off fa dat!! Guess you didn’t buy tha beat from him? But, it’s anotha good collaboration; tha other one was better, since I’m not really inta sad songs. My Rating: 2.7

11. “She Say It’s Mine”
Where’s tha apostrophe in “it’s”? >>> I’m not used ta you makin’ songs about “pussy.” Some of your vocals are questionable; I think I’m just gonna end this… My Rating: 2.5

12. “I Been Thinkin’ ‘Bout You”
>>> Anotha Mod beat; guess you bought this one ‘cause that stupid tag ain’t repeatin’… Bleh @ tha sample; this ain’t good for me… Fuck, neva mind, you didn’t buy this one ‘cause tha beat tag’s repeatin’! Fuck! Gonna be lower than tha Phat collaboration! My Rating: 1.8

½time: So far, only a 3.6 for tha CD rating; a lil’ weak ‘cause of tha repeatin’ Mod Productions beat tag…

13. Bigg Dawg Speaks
Anotha CD where an interlude starts where tha 2nd ½ starts… >>> More about tha “bitches;” I dunno… My Rating: N/A

14. “I Need To Know” Feat. Shyna
That’s hard ta read tha feature; a lil’ small? >>> Not feelin’ tha weak sample, once again… Ehh, I can’t take this one too serious; production ain’t bad, though. My Rating: 2.6

15. “Freak” Feat. Lil’ Boosie
Anybody turn into an adult since? Seems so fuckin’ old!! My Current Rating: 4.3

16. “Rap Star”
>>> Who’s tha female singin’ in tha background? Sounds catchy on this beat, even though it’s nothin’ excitin’… My Rating: 3.6

17. “Tabs & Bars” Feat. Big Wookee & Lil’ Phat
>>> Ooh, Fiona Apple’s on TV right now!! :) Think I got a crush! But, for this song, it sounds like it jumps outta nowhere at cha, between Phat comin’ in on tha 1st verse, tha hook, and how you & Wook come through wit tha rest. See, this iz a real style; at least it makes you sound like you’re from Louisiana! My Rating: 4.4

18. Bigg Dawg Speaks
>>> Anotha quick skit… My Rating: N/A

19. “Neva Been A Bitch” Feat. Young Crucial & Savage
Wow, real old from ’08! I wasn’t even 21 at tha time! My Current Rating: 4.4

20. “Can’t Eat, Can’t Sleep” Feat. Reno & 50 Cal
Spelling errors? “Reno” or “Rino”? >>> Good beat; didn’t think this would be about someone dyin’. Honestly, I dunno how anotha man can have so many emotions about anotha man; how? I’m 24 and I neva lost a non-family member I talked to in person; never!! Yup, looks like it’s a spelling error: It’s Reno; no one remembers Da Gutta? He came in quick, as well as 50 Cal; tha both of them did a nice job wit some random rhymes… Shawty Lo at tha end? Damn, you know this iz so old!! My Rating: 3.9

21. “Anybody Can Get It” Feat. Young Ready
Iz this really old? *Checks* It iz! Damn, 2008? It’s almost like you could’ve lost your virginity by now! My Current Rating: 4.4

22. “Dumb”
>>> I would rather’ve you had anotha “Dumb” attached to tha title so it can be tha song wit Young Ready; this iz too dry, with nothin’ really goin’ on. Well, tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ betta, but you’re betta than this… My Rating: 3.5

23. “I Got Dat BNC”
>>> Sounds too much like a mainstream trap song; why? People still rap about “money,” no homo? My Rating: 3.4

24. Bigg Dawg Speaks
>>> Sounds just like a continuation of tha last song, with barely anything ta say… My Rating: N/A

Overall: Are we gettin’ weaker or somethin’? Why were most of tha big songs old songs? Not much into tha new songs; gotta think undaground!! Who thinks mainstream?!
