It was a decade ago today, May 29, 2012, that I wrote a poem/news story for class & it was a suicide poem! Crazy & now, a decade later, here we are, kickin’ off Certified with a title called “Suicide”! Deep. >>> Sounds like a dark intro with tha beat & I’ono what ta make of your voice on tha hook, here… Hearin’ you on tha verse & it’s dope af! Luv that we’re ‘80s babies, ya heard me?! I can’t wait till I get betta with my productions & shit, so I can have you on my Autistic Stoner Rap, Vol. 2; can’t wait!! Fa this track, I luv how you sound on this with this dark beat; definitely what’s up!! Luv tha darkness of tha hook but Percy, alwayz stay alive, ya heard me?! Wow, tha 2^nd verse has a much different flow than tha 1^st… Or, I’m trippin’; it’s just a 2^nd hook… But, overall, I definitely love what you brought to tha table, here! I’m just kickin’ back in my scratch-off lottery ticket socks, just thinkin’ of how much value you have brought to me, over tha whole past decade I’ve known of you, since October 28, 2012! You manipulatin’ your voice with tha effect, here, as well as doin’ it fa just tha “money.” Just had ta point dat out; lemme see if somethin’ else can catch my attention… I’m likin’ your “Welcome to tha darkside” part; definitely nice! You know you inspire me ta enjoy life in tha dark, ya heard me?! That’s how you inspire me, ya feel me?! I like how you said, “Focus,” as it sounded like, “Fo—“; good shit! A chocolate ride like tha ice cream? Or, a darker ride like ups & downs? Prolly tha ups & downs but lemme hear what you got wit dis “Rocky Road” title… >>> Sounds like it’s gonna be an interestin’, slow-type of track? Yeah, it sounds like a nice lil’ country guitar in tha background, as well as tha trap/distorted beats… Nice job on tha hook, Percy; you know what it iz! Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse & you in tha zone, all tha way, here… Good, I guess…? Glad you focused; this joint ain’t that bad fa me, overall… Hearin’ you rap on tha 2^nd verse & it’s soundin’ slightly betta; sounds like you’re givin’ these bitches a humorous ride… Tha flow toward tha end of tha 2^nd verse was a lil’ on tha catchy side; I like how you feel like these jointz gon be big. Anyway, let’s get it wit dis one!! >>> Sounds like a sunny-type vibe & you even mention “Miami” on tha verse, here… “I know I’m tha shit ‘cause I got evidence”; fuckin’ well right, Percy! You know I got all my “evidence” of my life, over tha years! Feelin’ your consistent rhymes, here, includin’ all tha “common sense” parts… Yeah, “keep dem toolies on [you], like no apostrophe”; fuckin’ well right, Percy!! My Rating: 4.1

Anyway, lookin’ forward ta hearin’ what you got ta say on an “OK”, “okay?” Lol! >>> Intro in tha beat kinda sounds like a country guitar, again—ahh, a HardBody production, here. I think this iz way too poppy for what I’d expect from him; coulda used betta sounds, like, B.R. ones!! A whole 100.00% B.R. ones!! Hearin’ you rap on tha 1^st verse, tho, sounds dope with your consistency; can’t deny it! Hearin’ tha hook & it’s pretty cool with you with tha “OK, OK”; you even got a 2^nd verse comin’ along! Hearin’ what you got on tha 2^nd verse & it sounds nice ta hear; diggin’ how you switch your flow, once again! My Rating: 3.5

½tyme: I fucks wit this, in a way; pretty-good start, so far, with a 4.1 average rating…! How will you continue ta bring out tha CERTIFIED in Certified?! Lemme hear, lemme hear! Keep it comin’! I have to point out, tho, that last year, while I wrote you in jail, I love that I had a withdrawal of wantin’ ta hear you tell me, from back on September 18, 2015, “Your work ethic, man; you don’t… You consistent as a ma’fucka, man…”. That shit alwayz hits me good in tha heart ‘cause you gave me tha birth of Frank Calhoune shortly after, on November 2, 2015! Sounds like you’re gettin’ really wrapped in tha words “someone else,” randomly; lol, 6x? Sounds good with what you bringin’ to tha table for tha ladies, once again… I luv that you got all Xanned out toward tha near-end, too! Gots to feel some sorta vibe, ya feel me? My Rating: 3.2

Sometymes, I catch a post when I need to catch a post, these dayz. When it came ta this track, I had ta peep out tha video & show tha track luv, ya feel me?! “Mechanic wit da tool, bitch! I’m yeah with tha yeah-yeah!” Luv how you come through on tha beat, fa tha streetz & strictly ‘bout dat “Yeah With The Yeah”!! “Yeah”!! Glad I got ta take tha month of May out ta show dis track luv, all month long! It’s still goin’ fa tha next two dayz, too! Go, Percy! #YeahWithTheYeahChallenge commercial series! Luv how you focused & unstoppable on tha 1^st verse, ya heard me?! Gotta ride “thru tha city”!! Gotta luv your focus on tha 2^nd verse, too; yeah! Kinda sounds like you’re remakin’, here; not bad with tha hook… Lol @ tha 1^st verse: “Lotta sound effects when we together.” Sounds like okay rhymes; can’t really say too much about ‘em… You really inta tha “pussy” & all dat throughout tha 2^nd verse, too; keep gettin’ ‘em, Percy! Hope you tryna live your best life, atm… Feelin’ tha bass toward tha end…! My Rating: 3.8

10. “Up Shit” feat. Doja
Can’t…wait…ta…hear…dis…“shit”! >>> Sounds a lil’ creepy in tha beginning, based off this vibe? An extra voice? A feature? EDIT: Oh, now I see it: Doja! I’ono what ta make outta dis; I just hear you vocalizin’ in tha background… Aight, hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse & it’s pretty dope; “good-ass weed, I blow dat!” Fuckin’ well right; you already know how I blow on dat shit! Sounds like a fast-type of flow outta nowhere, on your 1^st verse; cool, I’d say… Hearin’ tha Doja dude on tha 2^nd verse & he definitely focused fa tha “B.R.”! Gotta feel tha vibes he bring to tha “B.R.” table! Great lil’ contribution ta Percy’s archive, here! Endin’ with a semi-yucky lil’ a-tune outro from you, here. I’ono but tha “pool in tha back” part at least makes me feel more comfortable, due to it bein’ a good vibe? My Rating: 4.2

Overall: Nice job, Percy; you put together a nice lil’ effort, here. Tha review went mainly in an average/above-average way, which ain’t that bad. I give you props fa continuin’ on wit dis music shit; it ain’t easy! I wish it was easy to where I can just continuously drop projects like they were nothin’! However, correctly identified with tha dark streetz, at least. Tha beat kinda less on a Rouge tip but I’m feelin’ what you bringin’, here, as far as how you spittin’ tha rhymes. Luv how you mentioned “lean, weed or pillz”; go get it in! Err-tyme I think of you & your licks hit, I think of mine hit, too; we both lost out on our $20K+, smh! Okay, so we got a hook, here, with tha “Infamous” part; good job dividin’ tha track up! My Rating: 3.7

How much “sense” will “it make”? How ‘bout dat one? >>> How will this piano-like intro play out…? Exposin’ those on tha 1^st verse with tha whole flashin’ of gunz & shit… I would say, yeah, as far as those that fake it but tha real ones I’ve been with that carry toolz be doin’ they shit. Hearin’ tha hook & yeah, it’s pretty dark/dope with this beat & how you come through with when shit gets in tha hands of tha law! I feel ya, here… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it’s good ta “make” some “sense,” here. My Rating: 4.2

Needless ta say, make it “shine” in your way… I have a feelin’ people’ll dickride this one; sounds like tha one I would let get away, on my playlist. Keepin’ it movin’ with tha 2^nd verse & it sounds like you’re gettin’ it thru tha struggle…; decent… Got ta hear you say, “Phat Baby,” your latest stage name, at 2:35; nice soundbite. My Rating: 3.3

Please don’t be depressin’… >>> Not anticipatin’ this intro with tha “cry” part; see, I knew where I was aimin’ with, with this one… Just sounds like a dark/semi-light production with tha lonely feelin’ of your uncle & gettin’ it thru tha dayz… Hearin’ tha verse after tha hook & it’s pretty real; that’s all I can say. This bein’ only 110 seconds long stands long enough for a length, at least. My Rating: 2.9

½tyme: This seems like an average/above-average release, so far; a good set of bangaz & some depressin’ tracks, too. Mix ‘em all in a gumbo pot & you get a ½tyme rating of a 3.9, so far. How will you continue ta do? Not really on Stepchild (Deluxe) levels but we’ll see how you progress wit tha rest of this release.

08. “Take It Far”
How “far” will you set tha bar on this track, fa tha 2^nd ½? >>> Sounds nice with tha “007” intro, here, from what you think it “sounds like.” Hearin’ tha hook & it’s pretty nice wit what you comin’ up with, here… However, hearin’ you come through on tha verse sounds a lot louder than tha hook. Like, what happened with tha mixin’ & masterin’ there? Still, I’m feelin’ your energy & shout out/long live Looney, when you mentioned “no less than 50!” Can’t believe it’s gonna be two years in a few months! Just luv your aggression, once again! Okay, hearin’ tha hook again & it’s pretty nice! Just don’t like tha blendin’ of tha hook & other vocals… My Rating: 4.1

You just gon be flowin’ fa da good-ole “Boosie,” here? Lemme hear… >>> “Open my closet, I see dead bodies stacked up to tha roof.” Umm…, what a site to see, openin’ up tha track’s lyrics up with! I thought you was gon have more of a “Boosie Flow” on tha track, here, pun intended! “A zombie from tha dirt with how I was raised?” I’m diggin’ it! Your rhymes & thoughts just go beyond tha streetz! You see much more & I’m alwayz diggin’ it! Lol @ 1:34: “Eenie, meenie, miney, moe…” Luv how you don’t take a breath throughout tha rappin’; definitely nice! I just don’t agree with tha title, tho. Maybe, you coulda titled this one “Phat Baby Flow”? Just comin’ up with somethin’ off tha top of my head. My Rating: 4.2

Looks like a new feature on tha feature, here, but they have a money reference in their name; ehh… >>> Sounds like a dope lil’ beat fa tha Rouge’s streetz of 2022, here; hope it sounds good, overall! Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse & these rhymes are somethin’ else! You’re alwayz focused; gotta keep it goin’! Consistent-ass shit fa tha streetz after tha 1:00 mark! Keep that accuracy up!! Tha fuck up, that iz!! Hearin’ this new Bankroll dude on tha 2^nd verse & he sounds good; I won’t give him a thumbs down…! Hope they’re just as good as Mr. Bankroll from tha previous track! >>> Tha vibe of tha tempo went down a lot, here… Just sounds like a bunch of rhymes from you on tha 1^st verse, here; rhymes, rhymes, rhymes… Sounds like a long verse from you, here. It’s like, how will tha last minute go? Okay, no hook, just right to tha DQ Rogers verse, on tha 2^nd… I’ll give dude some props, so far; we’ll see how he progresses in tha future… A good lil’ track but no hook? My Rating: 3.0

Okay, it sounds like a 2^nd verse’ll be here, since you said tha title part… Sounds like a good lil’ hook, I guess? You know tha world you’re in; keep gettin’ it in! Keepin’ this movin’ with tha 2^nd verse & it sounds nice, too; keep givin’ “no fucks!” My Rating: 3.8

Looks like we gon end it in a nice way, here? >>> Kickin’ it off with “Stepchild,” just like your “Stepchild [(Deluxe)]” release! I like tha “Fat Joe … “leanin’ back” part; great lil’ reference of ’04 & Terror Squad… I’m likin’ tha “youngin, you fuckin’ right!” parts; I luv how they keep repeatin’! Great lil’ verse & dope with tha lil’ outro you brought to tha ending, here; good shit… My Rating: 3.9

Overall: Not bad of a release, I would say; I’m feelin’ your energy & your dedication to tha 225 streetz, of course. Some catchiness on tha tracks but not too many to where I’m jumpin’ outta my seat & am supa excited about… Either way, I feel your grind & you don’t stop to make sure you shine, ya feel me? Waddup, waddup?! Ya boy, FrankieThaLuckyDog, here, finna get into my 2,020^th review, overall: OMG JT—it’s his birthday today!! Happy muthafuckin’ birthday, my boy!! Good-ole 32; exactly 19 dayz younger than what my late brother woulda been! This review iz for his latest release, You See Me (Da Mixtape), courtesy of 100 Percent Assholes Da Label (S/O to OMG Da Label, as well), lol! Now, I have to point out somethin’, though: Tha way I had to find this release wasn’t easy. Like, if I just typed in “OMG JT” in Google, it should give me tha You See Me (Da Mixtape) release. However, on Apple Music & tha social platforms, you have your name ID’d as “Omg_jt” & tha name of tha mixtape called You See Mee. Like, I would make sure you match tha correct way of spelling, like on tha cover. Also, “JT OMG Da Artist”? I’ono but tha platforms seemed easy-goin’ with signin’ off that ID of yours, rather than “OMG JT”. I alwayz thought it had to match? Anyway, I’m excited, after writin’ a letter, workin’ last night, makin’ a scratch-off lottery ticket birthday shout-out video fa you, outta $1,165.00 in scratch-offs, physical therapy & now, this live review! Hope we set tha bar real high, here…! >>> It feels like it’s been a while since I heard some quality-soundin’ Louisiana music—225 to be exact!! “Smack him like I’m Will”; ouch, lol! Not feelin’ tha reference at 0:30 (“bow!”), which I have a feelin’ I’ll explain why a lil’ later. Needless ta say, you killin’ ‘em with this energy, here! From tha streetz to tha clubz; tha energy undeniable!! My Rating: 4.4

02. “Who Is You Playin’ Wit”
Looks like a nice way to provoke your opps! In my mindset, I’m so focused, I’m like, “I’ont see my opps, in my mind!” >>> Slammed pretty hard with tha beat, here!! Sounds like you flowin’ tha freestyled rhymes, here? Sounds nice with how you come through on this beat, nice & “tab-taking,” lol; good goin’! “Ooooooh”?! “Whooooooo”; nice way ta kick off tha hook & to say tha title part; good shit! “I done died & came back; this that rebirth”; awesome line. I got over havin’ damn COVID just 13 dayz ago!! Oh wait, I did hear a “oooooooh”; I wasn’t trippin’, lmao!! Couldn’t detect tha producer’s ID but definitely nice with tha way they supplied you with this track, right chea!! My Rating: 4.8

03. “Ain’t No Way, Boy”
I put tha comma, lol; I feel like this gon be anotha anthem. Please, please, lemme be right!! >>> Sounds like an anticipatin’ start…! “We shmoke on that gas, watch me roll somethin’”; yeah! I’ono, you sound a lil’ loud in tha vocals, at tymes? Sounds a lil’ screechy? Was this mastered right? I must learn, next month!! Lemme make it a goal!! Anyway, it sounds like a catchy track. I just wish it was mastered & mixed betta. You & tha “tabs”; gotta luv when you have a fuzzed-out feelin’ from throwin’ somethin’ back—bizzack, that iz!! Hook pretty dope, as well as how you come through on tha 1^st & 2^nd verses, non-stop; good shit, despite tha mixin’/masterin’ issue I noticed. My Rating: 4.2

04. “I Wanna Know”
I’m expectin’ this to be for tha ladies? If so, I literally just want a club banga! >>> Sounds like a slow R&B vibe but reminds me of a vibe like DJ Tremon’s club event ending. “Emotionally, I’m distracted”; I feel ya. How about, around this month, it marks 22 years since music’s been playin’ in my head, non-stop! I can’t shut it off!! Distraction, distraction, distraction! As far as tha 1^st verse, decent; reminds me of some1 I don’t wanna talk about, from B.R., with tha voice. With tha hook, it sounds like a simple lil’ vibe; nothin’ much ta say… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it’s ehh, okay, I guess? This does sound like it could be a song that would get a lil’ recognized by certain peeps, if tha cards are played right? Just tha way your voice blends with this slowness reminds me of somebody feelin’ like they a supastar. I know I feel like that at work but tha 100.00% energy must continue!! My Rating: 3.6

05. “Dropping”
*Confused look* >>> Wtf, lol? I was gon say, it sounds like that emo trap-type beat of Comethazine or somethin’ (“Hippopotamus”). However, tha hook was “dropping dick”! What?! I’m feelin’ how you express yourself with tha sound effects, for tha ladies; good shit! Lol, you & tha tabs, on tha 2^nd verse; gotta luv what you crave for, successfully! Great 1^st verse to back up tha 2^nd verse, so tha both of ‘em go good together, ya feel me? Sounded too much like a mainstream/today’s generation-type track to freestyle off of. However, tha way you handled it was pretty dope; I’ll give it its props. My Rating: 3.7

Unfortunately, effective September 4, 2018, I cannot review one of tha artists on tha track, here. It’s bad enough tha other feature decided to make this collab happen, especially when I was tryna set up my own collab, back on September 10, 2020! With that bein’ said, you won’t be penalized, here, but I cannot count this toward my ratings, due to tha incident of one of tha features. Also, to tha other feature: When we gon turn tha fuck up?! It’s been almost five years since I first tried to link witchu in person, just to turn tha fuck up!! It’s tyme to level tha fuck up!! Ya feel me?! My Rating: N/A

07. “Love It Here”
In B.R.? I know you like to move fast, such as when I last saw you on December 11^th of last year, with Flash—OMG Flash, that iz. I’m glad we got to link, even tho we still gotta follow up & turn up (hopefully for my birthday, next month)! I’m glad you were able to provide me with so much energy for my job; I’m gettin’ anotha $1.00 raise, this week! Exciting, right?! Thanx fa tha energy you’ve brought me!! >>> Just hearin’ that beat tag in tha beginning makes me not really anticipate this… You sound real dedicated to this ladies, here; not bad… I guess it sounds like one of your hotel nights, like last year, when you were in tha jacuzzi, fulla dem tabs! Yup; you anticipate tab-taking!! As far as tha 1^st verse, I guess you lay it down fa tha ladies in a nice way. Not tha kinda track I’d go crazy for but best of luck wit catchin’ err-body else on; hope it pays off, at least… Hook aight; it’s just a hook but at least tha “love” iz “here”! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it’s good ta hear, even tho it’s just an okay track for me, overall. My Rating: 3.4

½tyme: From reviewin’ your Job Done release last year, I feel like you’re a lil’ bit of a gumbo pot, at tymes. There’s tymes I really love your tracks, while there’s tymes they’re not really for me. Overall, right now, you’re sittin’ at a nice 4.0 for tha average rating, currently; good shit…! Like I said, too bad I couldn’t review Track #06 but, whateva, I demand my respect & value over those that don’t put in tha work that I do! I’m slowly movin’ into doin’ things tha QC-type of way & I’ve alwayz felt like I’ve been a QC-type of person, via tha reviewz, over tha past 16 years. With that bein’ said, I gon continue to bring tha best quality outta err-body I wanna put my ears to—their music, that iz!!

08. “Fall Down (G-Mix)”
I’ono if I wanna anticipate this that much, due to how tha ID looks all sloppy lookin’ (“Fall down gmix”). Looks like some1 didn’t care to correct tha grammar on tha title but at least I did. Now, will I give it extra life, lol? >>> *Cringes* Even tho I love ’04, I can’t with tha jacked beats/“All Falls Down”. *Stops at 0:04* My Rating: 1.0

09. “Go Dere” feat. Kmac
Lookin’ at tha title & feature from one of my ‘90s babies, I’m anticipatin’ what y’all gon bring, here! Now, see, tha last track I reviewed only scored a 1.0 but I feel like tha energy gon reverse & “go” to tha maximum!! >>> Sounds like an anticipatin’ beat start, here… I think you got a good lil’ part with tha hook, here; definitely dope wit your energy & flow! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it sounds pretty dope; keep tha consistency comin’ along…! Hearin’ you on tha 2^nd hook (mainly, 2^nd ½) & it sounds like I’m losin’ trust? Not feelin’ you slightly slippin’ in that a-tune! Got Kmac on tha 2^nd verse & he sounds good ta hear, here, “feelin’ like a scarecrow.” Yeah, “Just rolled a blunt”; gotta stay blunted out!! I have a feelin’ this gon be like tha “Falls Down” shit… >>> Not an instant kill but I’ll see what gon go down wit dis one… This ain’t tha kinda track I’d feel; too soft & soulful fa me ta enjoy, especially on this release! I’ono, I’m not gonna die fa this but decent job with tha rhymes… My Rating: 2.5

11. “Know Wat I’m Sayin’”
>>> Sounds a lil’ loud in tha mixin’/masterin’, here; a lil’ loud… Tha beat ain’t too bad, here, as it reminds me of somethin’ for tha streetz, at night. Sounds like a catchy lil’ hook, even tho I’ono how much I can feel this… As tha 1^st verse was good/decent, tha 2^nd verse str8, too… Just not feelin’ tha “money good” part ta kick off tha hook. You know how I am with tha “money” lines!! It’s like seein’ a staple at my job’s production floor! Ouch! My Rating: 3.1

Looks like a rush deal, here, since you like to “move fast.” >>> A lil’ slow, here & not tha type of production I’d anticipate. It just reminds me of somethin’ from tha mainstream? Southern-wise. Sounds a lil’ rough with tha mixin’ & masterin’? Just sounds like a bunch of random flowin’, I guess? I like when tha beat gets quiet & you lay down some personal rhymes; nice lil’ addition to tha interest I have, here… My Rating: 2.6

14. “Check On Me” feat. Mazzi Supa
Iz this tha same Supa I’m thinkin’ or iz some1 else tryna be Supa? Hmm… I hate to tell you but seein’ tha ID as “check on me” (all lowercase), I feel like my anticipation level’s pretty low, just sayin’… >>> Ehh, a lil’ mainstreamish for tha beat start, here? “Waddup, La’Keith”? Doesn’t seem like it’d be his production type; sounds too mainstream-y & boring. Hearin’ tha 1^st verse from this Supa—not tha same one I thought of—and he just rappin’, rappin’, rappin’… Ehh, him mentionin’ tha “money” shit on tha hook’s ehh but I guess I’d have to appreciate him more? Okay, here you come on tha 2^nd verse, JT, soundin’ like you got a consistent flow & set of rhymes, here… “You talk about money? I’d prolly pull up…” Crazy how I still do a bunch of my shit for free?! It’s alwayz a blessing! Frfr! My Rating: 3.0

15. “Last One”
I’ono what y’all exactly mean by “Special Version” in tha ID but, for this bein’ tha actual “Last One” on this release, I wanna see—hear—what it gon sound like… >>> A random intro… Sounds like you finna bring a good lil’ street vibe fa B.R., here? Okay, at least this sounds betta ta end thangz off… Hearin’ you on tha verse & it’s good wit how you comin’ through wit your flow & shit; good shit… Hearin’ tha hook & it’s pretty nice; I like how you represent for it. Hearin’ tha near-last minute of tha track & it’s really just an instrumental part. Umm…, I’ono how excited I’d say this iz but I’ll just leave it at anotha decent level, here. Lol, it randomly had a cold ending & cold ending to tha release; ouch… My Rating: 2.8

Overall: Seemed a lil’ mixed, overall; felt your energy in tha beginning, especially with how you utilized tha Baton Rouge style, at tymes, production-wise. I thought you woulda been workin’ a hell of a lot with La’Keith, since your other track, “Clappers”, with Johnny Hu$tle, topped my playlist on January 23, 2022 & had a whole month worth of a commercial series, earlier in January! However, it seemed like you grabbed a few beats from online & tried to run wit ‘em. Technically, I’d pay for tha quality, especially in today’s world. Like, who wants to spend buku money on studio tyme, recording, etc., just to rap off a jacked beat?! “All Falls [Fucking] Down”?! Ouch!! JT, you’re way better than that!! You know that?! I would stay a lil’ more prepared, in tha future; you don’t have to release so often. That’s why, I’m holdin’ off on my Autistic Stoner Rap, Vol. 2 & my Autistic Stoner Rap, Vol. 3, which Vol. 3 will be anotha trip to B.R.!
