Review #1,456: Lil' Mike "Like Mike (The Mixtape)"

Reviewed on 4.07.2015 & 4.08.2015 (Review #1,456)

Kinda tied up, but time to keep fillin’ up my data DVD fulla mp3s… This review I finna do’s for Lil’ Mike Like Mike (The Mixtape), released on S4 Entertainment. To not be confused, Lil’ Mike ain’t tha Lil’ Mike from G-Lane; this tha Ville Boy Mike from da Ville Boyz. Start Time: 8:51 PM (4/07) | End Time: 6:25 PM (4/08)

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. “Be Like Mike” feat. Leedre Ali
>>> Likin’ that intro, includin’ tha beat intro from Guss! Nice singin’ on tha hook, too, from this new singer! Even talks about “money,” and I’m feelin’ it; shockin’? Almost thought you sounded like a young teenager on tha 1st verse, but here you are, comin’ through nicely ova this beat on tha 1st verse… Tha 2nd verse kinda ehh wit tha lyrics; not really feelin’ ‘em that much, includin’ tha “Instagram” shit. My Rating: 3.7

02. “No Fairytale”
>>> Anotha nice beat, but I have a feelin’ tha lyrics won’t be anything special. I mean, if I loved that Guss beat but I only rated that track a 3.7, I don’t expect a bunch of these songs to have super-high ratings with me… Tha hook’s okay, here, as it goes ova this beat… Tha 1st verse sounds okay, but you’re gonna make me constantly yawn when you keep rappin’ about “money,” smh! Tha 2nd verse sounds oka—you said, “Tryna raise my son;” a kid, already? Ain’t you younger than me? Gotta put dat career first, especially before kids! Overall, this turned out to be okay, except tha “money” parts. My Rating: 3.1

03. “Live From Angola” (Cherokee)
>>> Ain’t know what ta expect, here, but it’s a freestyle ova tha phone. Also, I thought “Cherokee” was a part of tha title, but instead, it’s this dude rappin’… Might be cheatin’ your ratings, but this sounds nice with tha fast freestylin’ and great, gangsta lyrics. My Rating: 4.4

04. “All My Niggas” feat. J Boy
>>> Sounds like catchy, underground, internet rap on tha hook, here, with how this title’s repeatin’. Like, I feel like I’m 16 again, lol—holy shit, a whole decade ago! Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ decent from this J Boy dude; can’t complain… LOL, what a repetitive hook! Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse and it’s pretty upbeat with tha kinda delivery you’re bringin’ to tha table, here, vs. how J Boy came through wit tha flow. Lots of title parts, though insane consistency! Yes, no ‘money’ bullshit rhymes! My Rating: 3.6

05. “Cum Wit It”
>>> Sounds familiar? Dunno, but catchy production for tha 225, here. Not sure why you said, “Money,” on tha hook wit this kinda vibe, but tha rest of it sounds pretty nice. Kinda a stupid start fa tha 1st verse fa me wit tha “money” shit; so un-Louisiana fa me—knock it off!! Also, not really feelin’ tha producer’s tag repeatin’, at times; annoying! Tha 2nd verse straight; nothin’ really ta say, here… However, all that “money” bullshit makes this sound less of a jigg sound than what I grew up to… My Rating: 3.3

06. “Count Musik” feat. T2
Why tha feature? This title makes me think this gon suck… LOL, it’s like tha ‘before-trappin’’ times of my life, lol! Seems like sooooooooooooooooooo long ago!! >>> Guss beat; sounds decent, and there’s a repetitive-soundin’ hook, here… Nothin’ to piss me off, but nothin’ to really capture my attention, so that’s a 50/50, I guess, for my feedback on tha hook? Hearin’ tha 1st verse from you and it’s ehh; again, nothin’ really much ta say. I honestly thought I’d be bashin’ on your lyrics, non-stop, but it’s just regular feedback… Let’s hear what we got for this 2nd verse… Oh, more of tha song remaining, so tha 2nd verse’s you, and it’s soundin’ aight/a lil’ betta… Surprisingly, T2 on tha 3rd verse sounds betta than you, here. Of course, that always happens with my sketchy anticipation. And, nothin’ to bitch about, as far as lyrics; wow, this really snuck past me! My Rating: 3.5

07. “Ack Rite” feat. Murda Mop
>>> A catchy song fa tha ladies with this repeatin’ title; not bad… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it’s pretty good; nothin’ really ta say… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s straight; can’t complain ‘bout this verse, either… Hearin’ Murda Mop on tha 3rd verse and it’s decent, as well. His verse has a better 225 vibe to it than tha previous verses on this track, so shout out ta this “Bankstown” dude. My Rating: 3.6

08. “Cumin’ Thru” feat. Lil’ Juice (YNW$)
>>> Nice anthemic, Louisiana-soundin’ start to tha beat, here… Tha hook sounds nice ta hear; good shit. You on tha 1st verse, here, comin’ through wit a jam—ahh, you kinda ruined it with, “I’m ‘bout my money;” bad line! I mean, when doin’ services with me, you can be “‘bout [your] money,” and that would be great for me! However, I just don’t like hearin’ it in music; it’s too over-talked about! Hearin’ this Juice dude on tha 2nd verse and he sounds like a slower, less-indistinct version of Sam I Am; pretty-good, overall… And, it’s back to you on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit a party, here, “1999” style. My Rating: 3.8

09. “Shawty Want”
>>> Nice warped beat start, but those intro vocals sound like a turn-off… Ehh, really not likin’ tha voice and “money” lyrics ta start this off… To play it safe, why don’t I just skip this? Think that’ll be fine, before I crash and fall asleep when I gotta get up fa work at 3 AM, tomorrow! *Gets ready to skip…* Okay, a normal voice on tha 1st verse from you; I’ll give this a slight chance, though that gon make me open to anything you say, on here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and I’m not really inta this; you still braggin’ ‘bout tha dumb-ass “money,” smh! Really boring 2nd verse, here, just continuously braggin’ ‘bout tha “money,” and then, tha “bad bitch” ta follow dat up, smh! Anything typical you want, just ask Mike! My Rating: 1.1

½time: It’s 9:24 PM and unfortunately, I’m pausing tha review until tomorrow. If this CD—not “mixtape,” CD/album it iz—would’ve been better, I would’ve prolly had enough motivation to continue this. But, I’m shot; yup, Gates, I do get tiiiied! With that bein’ said, at tha ½ point, tha average CD rating’s only at a 3.3; time fa me ta get some ZzzzzzzZ! *Goes to sleep…* *Returns after working, napping & eating at 5:29 PM on April 8th…*

10. “Tell Me” feat. Terrance Hines
>>> “[???] on tha track…;” hmm… Nice beat and nice, energetic hook about bein’ “tha shit;” great sound! I ain’t expect this to be better than average… Well, hearin’ tha 1st verse from you and it ain’t too bad; diggin’ your G-type rhymes… Tha 2nd verse from Terrance Hines sounds nice, too, fa this Rouge. I almost thought he would’ve sung on this track, based off his name… Hearin’ you on tha 3rd verse and it’s yada, yada, yada fa me… Yeah, “So much money;” that line don’t turn me on!! However, I do like that line about you gettin’ “pulled over,” with “bars” and shit in tha car; interestin’… My Rating: 3.9 (almost a 4.0-type rating if it wasn’t for all tha “money” shit…)

11. “Thank I Ain’t” feat. Lil’ Sheppard
>>> Of course, a “stack paper” reference in tha hook; what else iz new…? Nice beat, though, and other than that reference, tha hook sounds good. Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it sounds pretty nice, preparin’ tha listeners fa a chance ta get “murked,” as far as your hood. Hearin’ Sheppard on tha 2nd verse and he on dat French Montana shit wit not worryin’ “about nothin’;” consistent-soundin’ verse, here, to go with tha vibe… See, he said, “Stack dat paper like Lego;” he snuck it in and didn’t drag it out, at least. My Rating: 4.0

12. “Focus”
>>> Nice beat start, with an “internet rap” sound; don’t fuck it up… When I say, “Internet rap,” once again, it reminds me of when random ‘people’ that claimed they were random ‘rappers’ would randomly rap off a beat and post it on message board forums / Soundclick; that’s what this sound reminds me of! As far as tha 1st verse, it ain’t too bad, here… Hearin’ tha hook and I can see how you had to “focus on” a “money” reference, once again; what’s next…? Luckily, a good portion of tha remaining hook doesn’t mention “money” too much! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s good; not that bad… Quit it with tha “money long” rhymes; it makes me hear it in one ear and out tha other! My Rating: 3.6

13. “Understand Me”
>>> “Realest shit I eva wrote?” Well, I hope it don’t have “money, money, money” in tha lyrics!! Hearin’ tha beat and it’s decent; not tha kinda shit I fuck wit that much, but it’s whateva… Tha 1st verse sounds good wit how you comin’ through wit tha rhymes… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s good for a biopic or somethin’… Tha 2nd verse doesn’t sound too bad, here, but why an early dad, once again? If that was me, as behind as I am with old reviewz, video countdowns, etc., I would feel like I’d neva catch up! It’s bad enough tha way I am, right now, as far as free time! But yeah, a decent song for me, overall. My Rating: 3.4

14. “Root Of All Evil (Pt. 2)”
>>> Yeah, yeah, yeah, whateva @ this hook; true, but literally, that’s your only focus: “MONEY!!” Nice Baton Rouge sound in tha beat, though, but all these “money” references in tha 1st verse makes me not take this too serious, as far as enjoyin’ it as somethin’ to bump! I mean, it’s good as far as tha quality of a 2010s Baton Rouge track, but it’s like a guilty pleasure to me ‘cause I don’t fuck wit dat typical, “money” rap! Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 2nd verse, here, and hmm, do you masturbate to “money,” based off of how many times you gotta mention it on this CD? If this was me with my music, I would prolly mention it only once or twice on a whole entire CD, and that’s to describe how I was robbed, which feels like I was raped! All right, already, with tha ending!! You’re lucky this a generous rating from tha infamous FTLD!! My Rating: 3.7

15. “Hunger Pains” feat. Lil’ Sheppard
>>> Anotha nice-soundin’ BR track, as far as tha beat; let’s see how this goes… Tha hook sounds good with your “stomach fulla pain;” nice hook, unlike tha previous track’s hook! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds good, describin’ how your life has evolved… Ehh @ “make that paper, stack…;” bleh… I was gon say, “Where’d that feature come outta?” Came outta nowhere on tha 2nd verse (Sheppard), and it sounds good; feelin’ his older-soundin’ hood rhymes. Funny how my credit for tha streetz has evolved in a larger way than eva; neva thought I’d be where I’d be, today! Can go through any hood and get along wit any race, gender, type, etc.; feels great to be versatile! Hearin’ you on tha 3rd verse and it sounds good, with your generation of tha hood; nice… Looks like there wasn’t really any complainin’ ova this track, here; nice job… My Rating: 4.1

16. “Anotha Day” feat. Ben Frank (Pancho)
Ben Frank, tha dude who always be on tha toilet, lol? Don’t think I heard him rap before… >>> Don’t know these producers’ names, but it sounds like quality, here… Hearin’ tha hook and I ain’t really into these “blessed”-type songs; not too bad on tha hook, here… Bleh @ tha start to tha 1st verse from you: “I thought it was some money;” really? Like, does that matter to you? Though I like tips and pay at my job, still, who doesn’t luv servin’ customers donuts?! Even down to eatin’ ‘em! And, you say, “I’m 25, now;” yeah, younger than me by two years (maybe, one)… Hearin’ Mr. Frank on tha 2nd verse and he reppin’ fa dat “S4” like you. Yuck @ “I been gettin’ money;” I don’t get tha obsession in every fuckin’ song!!! Oh yeah, now that I remember, Calie Frank’s tha one that shits; I got ‘em mixed up… Either way, just average, here… My Rating: 3.2

17. “G.R.O.D.T. (GetRichOrDieTryin’)”
>>> Likin’ tha lil’ piano-soundin’ intro, here, in tha beat… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds good; kinda sounds like some Jay Z-like track to rap on… Yeah, kinda like “Dead Presidents”—oh, that title, yawn; can’t get away from “money” topics!! Tha hook doesn’t sound too bad, here; just sounds like a regular song ta me… Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse and it ain’t too bad, as well; nice, consistent rhymes… Kinda a lil’ bit of “money”-obsessed shit toward tha end, includin’ my Jay Z-referenced beat; weird call, and I even like it better than some of tha shit on here! My Rating: 3.7

18. “Dis Ain’t Da Way”
>>> Nice Baton Rouge-soundin’ beat, includin’ this hook; nice… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s pretty nice; good job… Even tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ nice, here; feelin’ tha quality you bringin’ to tha streetz of BR, here… My Rating: 4.2

19. “Who Can I Call On”
>>> I kinda feel like this, now: “Nobody to call;” nobody hits my line up, anymore; there’s no such thing as business in Louisiana, now. I can’t believe how dead everything’s been! Not diggin’ tha “money” shit in tha hook, but this ain’t bad, as far as tha quality southern beat… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds like you’re on a mission to “call” someone. I remember those dayz at 10 PM (9 PM, Louisiana time), back in 2009 & 2010, when tha minutes were free on tha phone and I’d randomly call people from Louisiana! LOL, what tha hell with those times! I had no life and sat in a room, all day! Glad I’ve found success, as far as friendships, goin’ out, and more!! Tha 2nd verse sounds good ta hear, too; sounds like a catchy song, overall! “My life be like a movie;” like how you say that… My Rating: 4.1

Overall: Other than a bunch of tha “money” rhymes, I thought this CD was straight. It had its moments where I was bored, easily, but there was some quality in it.

Review #1,299: Thug Brothers "Bloodline"

Reviewed on 7.04.2013 (Review #1,299)

Next up, Carleone Gang Entertainment’s Thug Brothers Bloodline! Once again, Thug Brothers are Gangsta, Deezie & DCO. Start Time: 5:18 PM | End Time: 6:12 PM

After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

© 2013 CD Review (Review #1,299) reviewed on 7.04.2013 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Intro
>>> An okay intro; good thing it’s only 15 seconds… My Rating: N/A

02. “Uppin’”
>>> Startin’ off wit a bunch of frees… Feelin’ this hook wit all tha uppin’s! Gangsta comin’ through wit tha 1st verse, “makin’” cliques “fall back!” Got tha 2nd verse, here, from Deezie; great job deliverin’ these rhymes fa tha 225… Shout out ta DCO on tha hook; that voice iz always catchy! My Rating: 4.4

03. “‘80s Baby, ‘90s Bae” Feat. Lil’ Juice & Lil’ Ty
Looks interestin’… >>> Did you guys mean, “‘90s Baby,” on tha title? Either way, sounds great, so far, for this production and hyped-up vibe! Ooh, feelin’ dat hook, though I don’t really fuck wit too many “‘90s” babies… Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too; y’all holdin’ it down! “Ridin’ ‘round fulla purp!” Tha 3rd verse sounds good; feelin’ dat gangsta shit bein’ delivered! My Rating: 4.5

04. “Drive By”
! >>> Nice beat start, here; DJ B-Real? Whoeva it iz, they did a great job wit tha beat!! Likin’ tha G-shit you guys bring to tha table, here, wit this “drive by” shit! Nice job wit tha 1st verse, here; consistent G-shit, no filler! Got tha Gangsta comin’ through on tha 2nd verse, strictly ‘bout tha “streetz!” My Rating: 4.6

05. “Iron YGs”
>>> Sounds a lil’ like tha U.N.L.V./Boosie song about “That Iron”, on tha hook… Either way, sounds good fa a gangsta song, so far! Hearin’ tha 1st verse… Luvin’ tha DJ B-Real-like delivery; gangsta shit, at its finest!! Gangsta comin’ through wit tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse…; can’t deny it!! Nice way ta end tha verse wit “round,” x2! Tha 2nd verse iz soundin’ pretty good… LOL @ tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse wit tha “A Bay Bay” shit, to dat “K!” My Rating: 4.3

06. “Mr. Watson” Feat. Mouse
Repeat song… My Current Rating: 4.2

07. “I Don’t Like To Talk”
>>> First beat tag on tha CD (for a new song): Young Hits! Sounds like y’all focused on tha hook, here! Deezie comin’ through, “flossin’,” spittin’ gangsta shit on tha 1st verse! Tha “hate when niggaz mouth off” shit that starts off tha 2nd verse sounds like quotting a dead person. To me, it’s kinda cliché and not special in songs… Trust me, I hate when Delwin does it wit Nu$$... My Rating: 4.3

08. “Swerve”
There was a problem with tha file on tha DatPiff upload… Luckily, there’s YouTube… >>> Sounds catchy; likin’ tha hook wit all tha “swerve” shit… Nice job wit tha 1st verse, here; can’t complain… Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too; can’t complain ‘bout this, either… My Rating: 4.2

½time: A nice and consistent CD, so far; 4.4 for tha CD rating, currently!!!!

09. “Take It Outside”
>>> Damn, now, tha tracklisting all fucked up? Why this one “Swerve”? Guess there’s no such thing as “Take It Outside”? I’ll try ta look… Yup, it’s on there, and it’s old, lol… Turned into a Q-Red production… Nice job wit tha hook, here; feelin’ it! All tha verses sound nice, here! My Rating: 4.4

10. “Been Through It All”
No, Thug Brothers, it’s THROUGH, not threw! >>> Very southern-soundin’ wit tha beat; sounds great! This ain’t too bad, so far… Tha 2nd verse sounds good…, nice and real… A long outro added, here… My Rating: 4.0

11. “Slow Yo Roll” Feat. Charisma
>>> Sounds nice; anotha southern vibe, here… Charisma sounds nice on tha hook, for a female… Tha rhymes are pretty good fa slowin’ tha “roll.” What’s up wit all tha “make it to see 25” shit? Sounds like it keeps appearin’ in tha songs… How gay for those that don’t “make 25.” People can’t think differently… My Rating: 4.0

12. “My Life”
>>> Nice production, and sounds good fa y’all’s “life,” on tha hook… Good 1st verse, but because I’ve been picked on “my [whole] life,” I can’t take others—especially older than me—serious when they talk about their family members… Tha 2nd verse iz pretty good, too… My Rating: 4.1

13. “Yolo”
>>> Anotha nice production, here… Tha hook sounds catchy, here, wit all tha “yolo” shit… Tha 1st verse sounds good, here; nice job livin’ dat “yolo” life… Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too; y’all always keep thangz consistent… My Rating: 4.3

14. “Roll Up” Feat. B-Money
>>> Why tha gay voice on tha hook? Goodbye, five-star-rated CD. :( So boring when “dudes hate ya;” can’t understand why… My Rating: 2.4

15. “Shorty So Fine” Feat. Lil’ Juice
Lil’ Juice ‘cause there’s Zion City Juice, so it gets confusing when you don’t properly ID it… >>> Iz this tracklist correct? It doesn’t sound like it blends correctly… Anyway, wtf’s up wit this one, too? Sean Kingston dickridin’? I bet this Juice dude on tha 1st verse’ll commit suicide if he couldn’t lose his virginity, or be in a relationship by age 18, 20, whateva, smh… Iz it me, or does that singin’ on tha hook sound like they’re on Kevin Gates’ dick? My Rating: 1.3

16. “Shoot Uh Nigga Down” Feat. Dre & Y-Nic
>>> Fuck, why this CD startin’ ta suck?! Totally on Gates’ dick again on this hook, too, wit how it sounds!! No need for feedback between this unoriginal beat & hook! My Rating: 1.0

17. “Cuttin’ Up”
>>> Oh, so that’s Young Hits’ new tag? I liked tha previous tag he had betta… But, this sounds good (finally) wit tha Boosie sample on tha hook, as well as tha production… Tha 1st verse sounds good; not bad… Tha 2nd verse sounds like a mix between Short Bus Boyz and dat “hate when niggaz mouth off” quote, again… Either way, can’t deny this 225 sound… My Rating: 4.2

Overall: This CD was nice and consistent ‘til #s 14 – 16 came along… Keep up tha great 225 work, though!

Rankings:

Review #1,298: Young Ready "Family Ties (Hosted by DJ Wookee)"

Reviewed on 7.04.2013 (Review #1,298)

I got my old mini DV tapes converting/resizing on my MacBook, so instead of sittin’ around and doin’ nothin’, I gon do some reviewz, now that I have tha chance… This first one for today iz Young Ready Family Ties (Hosted by DJ Wookee), off of B.O.W. Entertainment & Crook Muzik Music Group! Originally, I wasn’t supposed to review this CD ‘til I got a hard copy in tha mail from Wook. However, by me bein’ a curious dickhead at times, as well as my free time, I’m like, “Okay, I’ll just review it.” Start Time: 1:04 PM | End Time: 1:47 PM

01. “Intro”
Production from J.Scalez, here (or, Jay Scales, as he’s spelled on tha back cover). How will we start this off? By tha length, it looks like rapping’ll be in this intro! >>> Now, “Racked-Up Ready”? I rather Young Ready; no need for anotha money name to ruin anotha person’s name! Speakin’ of tha names, what about tha most-important dude in Louisiana? Known as DJ B-Real!! Good intro from Wookee; what do I gotta do to get a shout out? What’s up wit tha “Crook Muzik Music Group” tags? Sounds like dicksuckin’ wit how it sounded! Gay!! Anyway, you doin’ a good job rappin’ about these hoes on this Scalez beat! Nice lil’ “Solo Mafia … shout out ta Savage” part! Of course, gotta give tha king a shout out! Bad ending with tha “liking all my pics” and “I ain’t droppin’ my prices” lines. No need for social media, since I rarely hear from you (I still don’t have your # in 2013, after knowin’ you for five years?), as well as people shouldn’t charge! Collabs are only meant for mutual friendships! My Rating: 4.2

02. “Yeah I’m In This Bitch” Feat. Savage
Ooh, yes! Savage on tha beat, too!! >>> “Mobb shit, biatch!!” Nice lil’ hook, here, ova this nice-soundin’, neva-weak beat!! Sav on tha 1st verse; very consistent wit tha rhymes!! So much ta offer on tha 1st verse, here; real nice job, Sav!! Here’s Ready on tha 2nd verse… Good; can’t complain. Nice endin’ skit dat leads into tha next song… My Rating: 4.5

03. “Insurance Policy”
Scalez, provide some nice “insurance” shit fa Ready!! >>> LOL, nice rhymes, “insurance” style! I know Wook send me this song ta listen to; I remember that catchy hook! “Cancel his Christmas;” sounds like I heard this before, but in case I ain’t review it, I have ta say, that’s a pretty gutta/serious rhyme! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too; consistency at its finest! My Rating: 4.5

04. “Sosa Beat”
Ehh, a jacked beat… >>> Not bad, but if you got all original production, there’s really no need for these jacked beats, especially in 2013? Also, why all tha female rhymes? Gangstas don’t spit a ton of rhymes about females; just stick to tha hood! “My Instagram dumb;” nah, no social network references… Where’s Zeus when you need him? He ain’t all ova tha net, and his street credibility iz tha answer why! My Rating: 3.4

05. “Fast Lane” Feat. Danarryl Von
AJC (Tha Kidd AJC?) on tha beat, here… Lookin’ forward to hearin’ this collaboration! >>> Gay vocal start wit this random singer; yuck… Not really off to a good start wit tha rhymes, either, wit tha “countin’ money” shit. When will “money” be faggy to rap about—oh wait, it iz…, but it has to go away!!! Damn, not anotha “costin’ a fee” reference when it comes ta “a verse or a hook.” Ready, why would you want a random white dude wit no street cred on your songs? Like, if he paid you a stack; doesn’t make sense! MUTUAL FRIENDSHIPS ONLY when collaborating on your songs! LOL @ all those “mollys,” for a song like this? Weird… Funny how you said, “Murdafeen,” too (or, did you say, “murda fiend”)? Either way, it’s like a reference to my boy, Murdafeen, so props ta that! My Rating: 2.1

06. “I’m The Truth” Feat. Mista Cain
Not sure who this Yella dude iz on tha beat… However, let’s see what we got wit this… >>> Random excitement in tha beginning; wonder when all that excitement’ll be aimed toward me? Either way, this sounds like one of tha best-soundin’ beats on this CD, so far! Nice job from tha unknown producer!! Good job wit tha hook, too… Got Lil’ Mista on tha 1st verse, here… Just rhymes; that’s it. Here you are on tha 2nd verse… Of course, anotha female reference (“yo bitches got my thang up”); yawn… Also, “money” shit… Again, it’s just rhymes; doesn’t grab my heart’s attention… My Rating: 4.1

½time: So far, this iz a good CD; gotta give you more props for keepin’ ‘em comin’… Currently, 3.8 iz tha value of this CD; how will it continue?

07. “Guap Beat”
>>> Thought this was an interesting beat start ‘til I saw that it wasn’t even an original beat, smh. Bad intro, here, wit all this social networking shit. I gotta give you props fa retweeting my tweets, but wit 1,300 reviewz in, tons of exposure, videos, five years of knowin’ you and more, I should be important ta you automatically, without me havin’ to do all tha initial work… But, I’m not feelin’ tha 1st verse, either; sounds like you’re tryna sell out wit all this “Hold Dat Noise” ‘legend-in-your-own-mind’ perspective, and tha “phone” shit. Well, overall, tha lyrics were trash for me; not too much for me to get excited about, here… My Rating: 2.0

08. “Freestyle” Feat. Lee Banks
An original production wit “Freestyle” as tha title? Boo on tha production; glad ta hear him again… However, you prolly could’ve had a better title fa this… Maybe, have tha jacked beats have “Freestyle” in their titles…? >>> Good start from Wookee on tha intro, as well as Banks with his consistent rhymes… Iz it me, or iz everyone a father in Louisiana, at a young age? I guess my patience with all that heavy sex shit keeps my consistency goin’. If I was a dad, I dunno if my consistency would continue. I feel like there’s too much distraction. Like, you’re 50% rapper/50% dad; 100% focus iz impossible…, unless you’re real bad on tha other end! Here you are on tha 2nd verse… An okay start ‘til you started talkin’ ‘bout your mysterious “phone,” that I neva talked to on. Tha only one I talked to on was Savage’s, back in November 2008. Rhymes, here, are just rhymes; nothin’ special. Why 4:38 for a freestyle? Shouldn’t it be 2:30 less? My Rating: 3.6

09. “Fuck A Nigga” Feat. Dundray & Lil’ Juice
Got Dundray on tha beat, too… >>> Why tha beat tag in tha beginning? When will people learn, instead of followin’ all these stupid trends? But, tha beat don’t sound that bad… This sounds betta than some of tha shit on here; doesn’t even fit on this CD ‘cause of how it has a Baton Rouge sound on it, where this CD’s not really 100% Baton Rouge, fa me… Hearin’ this 1st verse, and it sounds good fa tha vibe… “Free my nigga M Dot & free my nigga 4;” glad M Dot’s outta jail, now! Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse… Betta rhymes from you. I wonder if you’ll be shoutin’ me out when I’m long gone. “When I heard dat shit ‘bout Mista, I could’ve fuckin’ cried;” wow, lots of emotion, here! I dunno who’ll “cry” fa me; I don’t even think I have value to anyone… Well, maybe to B-Real; that’s prolly it… Others, I prolly don’t know about… Back to tha song, we got tha 3rd verse, and it sounds like tha dude on tha 1st verse; that good vibe from tha 1st verse, continuing… Does everyone have friends or somethin’? I don’t know anyone that doesn’t say, “Free,” somebody. I guess it’s Lil’ Juice ‘cause they said, “Rest in peace Lil’ Dundray.” My Rating: 4.3

10. “Understanding Beat”
Noooooooooooo………………… >>> I take off for pre-pasted hooks, too… This ain’t for me at all; why this soft, female shit?! Mixtape, or album?! Fuck, anotha “phone” line!! Ahh, I can’t tolerate these rhymes any longer (2nd verse)!! My Rating: 1.1

11. “Look How That Ass Movin’” Feat. Dundray
Lil’ Ken beat, but why this topic?! >>> Anotha really good-soundin’ beat, but I swear, this doesn’t sound like it belongs on this CD! This belongs on, like, a Pyrex Radio edition or somethin’! Almost thought that was Mista on tha 1st verse, but I guess it’s Lil’ Dundray, comin’ through wit some Mista-soundin’ rhymes… Hey, why this beat sound like DJ B-Real & Zeus’ “It’s Nothin’” off dat Pay Da Producer Vol. 1 CD? Its format iz very similar, hence their similar lengths, too! Anyway, here you are on tha 2nd verse, Ready, but why a reversed word (“Ferneshia”? A name?)? Damn, anotha “call” reference; why?! Either way, I enjoyed this one… My Rating: 4.4

12. “So What” Feat. C-Loc
Endin’ it with a production from… fuck, no one! >>> Good start wit Loc on tha hook, but damn, anotha female reference? I didn’t know hoes were tha essence of keepin’ it 100% street, smh?! Too commercial wit these rhymes from Loc, here, on tha 1st verse and hook… Jumpin’ right inta tha 2nd verse wit you, Ready; let’s see how much longer ‘til a female—“jump from dick ta dick;” okay, somethin’ came up before I could even finish my sentence, smh… I like tha “Toni Braxton” reference about hittin’ “a note,” but too many female references, once again… My Rating: 3.7

Overall: I think I know why Wookee didn’t send me a hard copy of this… I almost thought this was a compilation CD, but it’s just about average for a CD rating; nothin’ spectacular for me… My suggestion for you on future music: Please, don’t go by “Racked-Up Ready;” don’t need anotha artist turning watered-down with a money name! One artist I talked to had a cool name, but then, they turned it into “G-Money”. I swear, I don’t think I wanna even hear their music anymore; I have a unique mind that doesn’t follow others, so I don’t fuck wit typical shit that everyone ‘likes’. Next, if you keepin’ it all tha way street, you need to let go of a bunch of tha female references. Almost every song on this CD had a female reference. Like, where’s tha “Gangsta Bow” shit, or tha shit with Zeus that I grew up to? DJ B-Real gangsta vibes? Maybe, you gotta go back to Camp Life Entertainment again? Or betta yet, just wait for my new album to come in tha future (this year or next year), about news stories in my life! Hope you take these considerations serious… Whether or not I eva hear from you through tha phone again, I just know that I’ll be gettin’ a job in tha video world, real soon, so there might not be anymore phone calls with me… I’ll be communicating with people who write me back and check out my shit!
