Review #1,327: Max Minelli "Gunpowder For Breakfast"

Reviewed on 9.30.2013 (Review #1,327)

Keepin’ tha reviewz goin’ wit one I had to buy. Unfortunately, Amazon gave me an Amazon/bootlegged-lookin’ version of tha front and back cover, as well as there bein’ no DVD. But, at least I have tha CD. Here’s my review for Max Minelli, LLC / Y$E Entertainment’s Max Minelli Gunpowder For Breakfast. Start Time: 3:56 PM | End Time: 4:51 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

© 2013 CD Review (Review #1,327) reviewed on 9.30.2013 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Getsum (Intro)
Gotta supply ‘em, Max! >>> Tasty gunpowder in tha intro, here! Kinda reminds me of 2 Chainz & Fergie “Netflix”, as it’s playin’ on Music Choice: Rap, right now! “Another blunt for breakfast!” Nice lil’ intro defined by, just, gunpowder, lol! My Rating: N/A

02. “Hashtag”
”#”in’ it up, lol! >>> Some Guss production, here, deliverin’ this “#” music for you, lol… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse, and it sounds like some drama, without tha mama, sadly, as there’s passed-away moms in tha content… I know you want money fa your rhymes, but tha rhymes should be free, and only wit your boyz! You don’t want a random white dude on your track that can’t rap, just ‘cause he paid you $12,345 for a verse! I like tha “hashtag” parts on tha hook; finally, Max, someone’s hashtaggin’ it up on a track! Interestin’ dat “Reno” iz your “godbrother.” No wonder why y’all always around each other, no matter what CD it iz! Tha 2nd verse sounds good, and this beat’s still keepin’ it consistent wit these sounds! “Haven’t punched no clocks since ’98;” damn, Max! Strictly livin’ off tha streetz since a teen! Sounds like you had a bad “phone call;” that sux. I neva got ta talk ta you on tha phone, yet. I think I’ve been kinda shy ‘cause of your ego, at times… Feelin’ your gutta, gangsta attitude at tha end, here, lol!! My Rating: 4.5

03. “Ask Dem Hoez” Feat. Reno
Keepin’ tha family up, as Reno’s on this CD, too! >>> Nice beat, here; sounds like it goes hard! I like how you comin’ through on tha 1st verse, strictly stayin’ undaground, like you should (not signin’ wit anyone)! This hook iz simple, but it sounds catchy; gotta feel it! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice; startin’ ta sound a lil’ catchier toward tha end of tha verse, where you repeated, “My mama ain’t raise no hoe.” We got Reno on tha 3rd verse, here, committin’ many sins in his past. But, that’s how he got his street cred, so it can be a good thing, Reno, lol! I like how tha verse slowed down at tha end, as tha track ended! My Rating: 4.3

04. “Realest Alive”
I’ll give you credit for puttin’ this as a title. Most rappers, I’d thumb them down! >>> Whoa @ tha beat start!! Sounds pretty loud wit a huge surround, here!! Wonder who did this track? Thumbs up ta them!! What a surprise fa a title like this! Your hook’s okay, here; you have tha credit ta use this kinda title and be proud of it! It’s like, you’re tellin’ peeps ta “sit tha fuck down,” especially those younger than you! I feel ya! Rarely do people get a pass after ’88 wit me! Good job wit tha 2nd verse, too, strictly competitionless, lol! My Rating: 4.5

05. “BitchWhut”
>>> Ooh, likin’ tha Baton Rouge-soundin’ beat, especially tha crickets in tha background of tha beat!! LOL @ tha hook; luvin’ how you repeat tha title!! “Whut—Whut—Whut!!” Catchy shit comin’ outta tha 1st verse, too… You can’t be defeated by many, Max! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too; can’t complain, here, but I’m really feelin’ this one! My Rating: 4.6

06. “Ayewunn”
A lot of compound titles, lol… >>> You give a shout out to “A-One” (Wissel) in tha intro? Kinda makes sense wit this kinda title, lol. I didn’t realize what tha title was, at first, but now, I know, lol. Catchy hook wit this title, and tha beat’s nice, too… You got more catchy rhymes comin’ through tha 1st verse, here; can’t complain… Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too; nothin’ much ta say about this except tha beat keepin’ it consistent… My Rating: 4.2

07. “‘Bout That Life”
>>> Okay, we got some X-Fyle production, here, and it’s soundin’ like a machine startin’ up, lol!! You know you’re ready ta jigg when tha beat sounds like your car startin’, or somethin’, lol! Nice, southern vibe this beat’s providin’… Tha hook sounds catchy, here; gotta be “‘bout that life” at all times! I like how you sound on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit catchiness on tha mic! Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too; jammin’, right chea! My Rating: 4.4

08. “Seventeen”
In your case, that was just about “seventeen” years ago, Max, lol! >>> I like how this beat sounds; seems like it’s tha early 2000s or somethin’! Make it a #TBM for today, lol! Tha rhymes sound good, here; it fits wit tha whole ‘comin’ up’ vibe from back in tha day. Tha hook sounds nice, as you were “gettin’ money” at “17, on tha block!” See, you don’t sound wack when it comes ta “gettin’ money” music, Max! Most peeps that spit dat “money” shit, I wanna fall asleep! Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too; can’t deny when tha Young, $elf-Employed Max spits! My Rating: 4.3

½time: A consistent CD you got chea, Max! Glad I spent my bucks on it! You’re at a 4.4 for tha CD rating, currently; keep tha consistency comin’!!!!

09. “Adult Swimm”
>>> A Mod Productions-like beat start, here (not confirmin’ that he produced, but it sounds like that vibe). This sounds nice; on tha hook, I like your imitation of tha orgasm sounds this hoe makes, Max! Well, I think it iz, tha “ahh, ahh, ahh, ahh” sounds she ‘pose ta make. Wow, this iz a catchy-ass song, lol!! Might add this one into rotation later, lol! “Swimm…, swimm!!!” Tha 1st verse sounds good, too; glad this “biiiiitch” has a lotta luv fa you! Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, either; gotta feel how passionate you are, here, wit tryna supply this “pussy!” My Rating: 4.6

10. “Remi” Feat. Jada Giovanni
Let’s see what this Italian female gon bring to tha table wit chu, Max… >>> Ooh, “Mouse drop tha track,” you say, Max? Sounds pretty nice, here! Yea, beat sounds!! Feels like Mouse’s, like, 23 again, lol! Then again, he neva ages! LOL, simple hook wit tha “bounce dat ass, bitch;” can’t complain! Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ pretty catchy, here… Once again, how can a hoe turn you down? Wow, Mouse’s sounds are off tha chain durin’ tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse!! Ooooooohhh, ahhhhhhh, lol! Ooh @ this Jada chick rappin’ on tha 2nd verse; gotta feel how she comin’ through wit her sex! You can almost imagine it bein’ Mouse’s girlfriend or somethin’, tha way she comes through on this beat! My Rating: 4.4

11. “Goin’ Thru Some Changes”
>>> Nice beat start from X-Fyle, here… Okay, I’m feelin’ how you comin’ through on tha hook; interestin’ delivery/rap-sung flow! Feelin’ how you comin’ through on this track; consistency defined on tha 1st verse wit your rhymes! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ pretty good, too! Hope you do “win” so you can “get whateva [you] deserve, [Max]!” My Rating: 4.3

12. “FucKum” Feat. Reno
Nice compoundness in tha title, lol. >>> Oh no, a stolen beat, 2009 style! A DJ B-Real production that was originally J Fletcha’s track, “I Got A Whole Lott”, featuring Iceman Da Lyricist. Damn, B-Real, you couldn’t put somethin’ new out? I hope ta find out tha story behind this one! This tha 2nd time, I know, that B-Real’s track was on somethin’ else. In 2010, it happened wit Lil’ Phat & Webbie. Their “Roof” track was tha same beat as Ville Boyz’s 2009 track, “Straight Stupid”. But, hearin’ you guys on tha hook, and it’s okay, but my attention’s weak when it comes ta Baton Rouge vs. Baton Rouge tracks like this! Tha 1st verse sounds nice, though; at least you got a vibe, but ain’t near that 4.8 (or whateva I rated Fletch’s track) feelin’… An okay verse from Reno on tha 2nd verse, here; can’t complain wit your guys’ efforts, at least… My Rating: 4.0

13. “Gunpowder For Breakfast”
>>> X-Fyle beat; let’s hope it’s brand new this time, lol. Sounds like somethin’ jammin’ for you to rap on, Max, in a slightly-different perspective… Tha rhymes are good, here, for your cemented status, Max; you can’t be touched! Tha hook sounds catchy, here. Wow, didn’t realize tha title was tha same name as this CD, lol! Talk about bein’ zoned into this song, lol. Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty consistent, at its finest! You don’t stop deliverin’ rhymes!! My Rating: 4.2

14. “On A Hunnit Stackz”
>>> Really likin’ tha beat start, here, as it sounds like tha inside of a factory! Yea, Max, I be abandon building-hopping now, lol! Great shit, especially bein’ 12 stories high, gettin’ high, ya feel me? Tha 1st verse sounds catchy, as you’re attractin’ tha “pussy,” once again! Even tha hook sounds catchy, fa a title like this! You seem ta win wit these titles ‘cause you’re a legend! Anyone else? I’d throw up! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too; can’t complain wit how you comin’ wit it, Max! My Rating: 4.1

15. “My Administration”
>>> Ooh, likin’ this beat start a whole lot, despite it soundin’ like every mainstream song out now! I think it’s tha surround sound that’s catchin’ my attention! Ooh @ tha hook; really feelin’ how you deliver tha title! It sounds like you’re a lieutenant!! I like how you’re comin’ through on tha 1st verse, strictly deliverin’ shit like youse tha king! You sound like J Buc on “Stuck Up”, when you say, “my cliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiickkkkkkkkkkk!!” Nice! Feelin’ how you comin’ through on tha 2nd verse wit your consistency; gotta luv it, Max! I think this was two verses; not sure if I lost count, or was I just so into this, lol? My Rating: 4.5

16. “Party & Pop Bottles” Feat. Tawain
>>> Sounds like a pop party wit tha beat sound, but it’s soundin’ like a catchy hook, too… I like how Tawain randomly provides some background vocals, too. I like how she says, “Pop bottles,” wit you, Max; good hook. Almost sounds a lil’ like Keri Hilson; hotness! Good job wit tha 1st verse, too, strictly providin’ this party in a Max way! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too; can’t deny it… My Rating: 4.2

Overall: I think this iz a first, Max, where we have a 5-star-rated CD from you! I neva got to review your older shit, yet, but I know there’s some fives in there, too! But yea, definitely feelin’ all tha consistency on this CD!! Only thing that threw me off was tha DJ B-Real beat from 2009. Could’ve had a 2013 beat from him ‘cause he definitely can use some bucks! But, I’m givin’ yourself a thumbs up, Max! Be proud ta get this five-star review from ya boy, FrankieThaLuckyDog!

01. “Hey Feds”
>>> Good intro… Barely gon comment tha song, so I’ll just say that it’s a good combo, between Ray Vicks & Boosie. Could’ve sworn I heard this from somewhere… My Current Rating: 4.4
EDIT: Reviewed 363 dayz ago on 12.24.2010.

02. “Go Hard”
Even older… My Current Rating: 4.4

03. “Dat Fire”
LOL, again! My Current Rating: 3.8

04. “Money Got Me Fucked Up”
Finally, a not-heard song? >>> I can picture a novelty feelin’ goin’ on, here, fa me… Too bad this title did get someone “fucked up;” kinda ironic for a title, lol? Good, ‘cause it now gives me an ironic smile! Decent song, overall, but screw all this damn “money” shit! My Rating: 3.6

05. “Niggaz In Trouble”
My Current Rating: 4.2

06. “I’m Ballin’” Feat. Block 125 & Bambino Gold
My Current Rating: 4.1

07. “Fade Away” Feat. Rambo
>>> Sounds like typical, Boosie shit that’s acceptable. My Rating: 4.0

½time: A 4.1-rated CD, which I know a bunch of tha jointz, so far!

08. “Lethal Injection”
Good title; familiar? I don’t see it in my iTunes… >>> Cool title part in tha hook; sounds like an okay joint, but gets betta wit Ray Vick’s “K” shit! “Bah-da-da-rrrrrrrrrr,” lol! My Rating: 4.2

09. “Ur Name” Feat. Tawain
>>> Beat sounds like baby sounds? Oh no, tha gurl said, “swag;” not really lookin’ forward ta dis… Really not for me; I thought mixtapes were ‘pose ta go hard, not soft? My Rating: 2.7

10. “Refuse To Let U Go”
>>> Really slow, but acceptable; tha better ‘slow’ music than tha previous song! Good shit from Boosie, here; likin’ this a lot, lol! Whether tha content ain’t my type, I know I’m really likin’ this vibe. Also, thumbs up ta Ray Vicks, here. My Rating: 4.3

11. “I Pledge Allegiance” Feat. 38 Slimm
38 Slimm or 38 $lim? I bet you guys have tha correct spelling ‘cause there were some errors when I first saw him on Pyrex Radio Vol. 3 & 4… >>> Another really-hot-soundin’ song; hope tha producer ain’t a dick, but I won’t say anything else ‘til I find out! Nice job wit tha hook, here; feelin’ tha 1st verse, too, when it comes ta this “pledge allegiance to” tha hood-type shit! Also, I’m likin’ how tha 2nd verse sounds; definitely a nice collaboration! Boosie’s last, spittin’ some good, next-level hood-type shit! My Rating: 4.5

12. “Xstacy” Feat. Tawain
>>> Again, not gonna say much about tha beat ‘til I know who’s producin’ it, but I like that start! A lil’ on tha slow tip, but this Tawain gurl’s soundin’ much betta here than on #9! Good shit from Ray, here; likin’ your sex shit, this time. Tha 2nd verse from Boosie’s good, too; nice vibe! My Rating: 4.2

13. “Top Ten” Feat. Youngsta
Hope I’m in people’s “top ten”s! Speakin’ of which, I’ve been doin’ my “Top 10” countdown since July 5, 2000, age 12, and I still continue, day by day!! >>> Anotha good-soundin’ anthem, here; good shit fa tha traps! Tha hook’s definitely on-point and it goes wit my countdown: “ain’t stoppin’!” Err-body comes through hard on this joint; thumbs up! My Rating: 4.3

14. “My Community”
>>> This iz anotha hot-soundin’ joint; really likin’ tha consistency of new jointz, all of a sudden! Really likin’ that y’all addressin’ tha “fakes” that are in y’all’s “community!” Good shit from Vicks, reppin’ tha whole way through, as well as Boosie comin’ through wit his toughness, lol! My Rating: 4.1

15. “Under Investigation”
Title track, which I already heard, lol! My Current Rating: 4.4

Overall: Nice job, especially tha new jointz!

Review #553: Ray Vicks "36 O's Later"

Reviewed on 7.19.2010 (Review #553)

Took a lil’ break (due to tha humid/hot weather) but now, I’m tryna shake back here… Too many CDs on my desktop so lemme just get to it. Here goes my review for Ray Vicks “36 O’s Later”! Start Time: 4:44 PM | End Time: 5:57 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! 01. “36 O’s Later (Intro)”
Startin’ off wit tha title track. >>> “3rd mixtape?” Where are tha others? Good start; “2,008 grams?” Iz this from “2008?” Oh, I think you said, “1,008 grams;” my bad. Good hook for tha start; you must be REAL good!! Tha 1st verse sounds real good wit you representin’; good job wit this intro! LOL, “Q-Red” did tha beat here? I wouldn’t’ve guessed; why was he afraid to put tha beat tag, lol? My Rating: 4.5

02. “Gucci, Louis”
What could this be? >>> Oh, so “Louis” iz pronounced “Louie?” Interestin’… Sounds like it could be Q-Red again on tha beat; catchy hook! Tha 1st verse iz really typical; sounds like a mainstream song now… Tha 2nd verse iz a lil’ betta here… My Rating: 3.8

03. “Go Hard” Feat. Lil’ Boosie
>>> Sounds okay for a start but it’s definitely hot for a song/hook! “We got” HOT shit here on tha 1st verse from you; lots of shit! Tha 2nd verse from Boosie’s good; good job wit tha collab! He did tha damn thang on tha end of tha verse too! My Rating: 4.4

04. “Bands” Feat. Yungsta & Squirm G
Good, some newbies here! Hope everything turns out GR8! >>> Good beat again. I almost thought it turned into a baby-Pop-type beat but it’s pretty hot. Tha hook’s cool; anotha money-type song, lol. You’re spittin’ consistent rhymes on tha 1st verse here; good shit. Here comes tha 2nd verse… Sounds cool for a start wit how they sound! LOL, Yungsta couldn’t hold onto tha whole verse as Squirm G took tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse here. He sounds like Lil’ Phat a lil’ bit… A lil’ on tha cool side but I rather hear Yungsta. Tha 3rd verse has a played-out “turn my ___ on” part; “scale” or “swag,” still played out. A short verse from you here… My Rating: 4.1

05. “Downtown”
>>> Mainstream shit here; not too crazy about this wit tha R&B style on tha hook. Tha fake orgasm shit in tha hook ain’t workin’ fa me either. Not much ta say about tha 1st verse… It sounded like tha 2nd hook started too late, lol. No comment on tha 2nd verse here… My Rating: 2.4

06. “My Life Story”
>>> Oh no, BOO @ tha jacked beat! Very old Diplomats soundin’ here; I shouldn’t even comment… LOL @ tha baby whinin’ in it too; I rememba dat from ? amount of years ago, lol! Tha rappin’s much betta than tha last song… Tha 2nd verse sounds like this iz not for me; not my kinda song (blame this beat). My Rating: 2.1

07. “Everybody Watchin’”
>>> Tha beat sounds scary; might’ve heard it before… Tha hook sounds too typical/Soulja Boy Tell ‘Emish; I’m not buyin’ this! Tha 1st verse’s ehh…; not buyin’ this beat either! Leave this shit “in Georgia;” this AIN’T “BR” music to me! Iz there a feature on tha 2nd verse? Where tha hell’s tha source? It sounds betta now wit tha beat too… Anotha feature on tha 3rd verse? Are these tha same dudes from Song #4? My Rating: 2.7

08. “Do Ur Dance” Feat. BBGz
Uh, oh… >>> Huh? J Buc beat? It had to be original? I thought this was easily gonna be jacked… Boring hook for me. Gay, gay, gay lyrics in tha 1st verse… I don’t need ta hear anything afta “Pop, Lock & Drop It!” I’m not feelin’ this borin’ 2nd verse too from tha feature… Tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse’s “dick, dick, dick,” everywhere… A lil’ obsessive… Damn, a 3rd verse too? Sounds betta on tha voice though… My Rating: 1.8

09. “On Me” Feat. Squirm G
Must be Lil’ Phatful, lol… >>> A lil’ betta wit tha creepin’ intro/hook. I’m not really feelin’ tha 1st verse; it’s borin’ me wit tha content I always hear. Oh, no, tha Lil’ Phat dude, lol… Sounds betta here than tha last time he was on here. I hear tha 3rd verse and I dunno what to say… My Rating: 3.4

½time: Kinda sour for a start here… I think some of tha beats were a no-no mixed wit some boring content. What happened to tha 1st few songs? That was tha start dat started it off! Now, currently, I’m at a 3.2 for tha average CD rating.

10. “My Body”
>>> Odd beat intro… Almost thought it was Grind on tha beat for a 1st listen but it’s really Q-Red, lol. Tha beat’s cool for a song like this but tha sample in tha hook scares me; I think I’m hearin’ a Pretty Ricky song or somethin’ and I almost thought it was remindin’ me of an ’07 song… Tha rhymes are a lil’ betta than those typical rhymes I’ve heard earlier… But, this izn’t anything special at all. My Rating: 3.1

11. “The Grind” Feat. Fee
Am I gonna need a “fee” to enjoy REALLY good music, smh/lol? >>> Tha beat’s good… Not bad 1st verse; it goes wit this song. Finally, a decent hook dat sounds good. Tha 2nd verse sounds a lil’ betta too… I thought tha featured artist would be a female but he’s on tha 3rd verse; okay… My Rating: 3.9

12. “Call Me, Text Me” Feat. Lil’ Phat & Tawain
Not lookin’ forward to this… >>> Sounds like “Downtown”. Tha gurl on tha feature may sound a lil’ on tha sexy side wit tha hook but I have to get used to it. Tha good thing iz it reminds me of some ’02 R&B-type shit. Tha 1st verse from you’s aight; I like all those kicks in tha beat! Phat’s on tha 2nd verse. It’s almost like I have to feel sorry or somethin’ for tha verse, lol… It was a catchy combo though for this song. My Rating: 3.7

13. “Dope Dick” Feat. Squirm G & Rambo
>>> Sounds like a J Buc beat before I can even see tha ID… It’s a Q-Red beat this time and sounds like it gon be an explicit song dat gon be good… Okay, this iz definitely catchy; what a crazy hook, lol! Tha 1st verse’s doin’ tha damn thang here; nice job on tha collaboration! It sounds like I hear tha “dunn-dunn-dunn-dunn” Bounce sample in this beat too! Tha 2nd verse from both tha features are gr8… Squirm G did a good job on tha 1st ½ but Rambo’s REALLY holdin’ down tha 2nd ½!! VERY GOOD 1st time hearin’ him!! My Rating: 4.6

14. “On The Moon” Feat. Squirm G
I think of this as cheesy but lemme hear it… >>> I thought it was gonna be some hot Technoish beat but it sounds pretty cheesy on tha beat. Tha hook sounds like it’s catchy though; Lil’ Issue wit tha holdin’ tha note. Tha 1st verse fits wit tha catchiness… Tha 2nd verse iz G and he aight wit what he spittin’…; gotta feel tha “presidential” shit. My Rating: 4.0

15. “Neva Let U Go”
>>> I thought I was gonna be disappointed at first… Speakin’ of Techno, it took a while to think of it but this sounds like Lasgo “Alone” on tha sample; gotta feel it! Although a lil’ cheesy, you KNOW if it’s a Techno sample, it’s a definite plus! Tha beat’s cool and tha 1st verse’s REAL GOOD wit tha drug-related shit!! Tha 2nd verse’s good; good shit on this joint. Tha talkin’ before tha 3rd verse sounds like some gutta shit ‘bout ta come out of tha 3rd verse! Here’s tha 3rd verse and yea, it iz pretty gutta! My Rating: 4.6

16. “Go Ham” Feat. BBGz
Maybe tha BBGz’ll be betta this time; let’s see this joint. >>> Ooh, pretty good on tha hook!! Tha beginning kinda sounded typical wit tha title but it’s DEFINITELY a tight song!! Tha beat’s real cool and tha 1st verse’s pretty good wit this collab!! Tha 2nd time I’m hearin’ tha hook now and it sounds REALLY on point!! Tha 2nd verse’s gutta as hell too!! Tha 3rd verse’s blazin’ up tha mic too; good shit once again!! Techno ending on tha last seven seconds; thumbs up!! My Rating: 4.7

17. “My Star” Feat. Fee
I dunno about this one; let’s see how it’ll be wit Fee (lol @ tha rhyme)… >>> Long intro but it sounds like it’s gettin’ anticipatin’ ‘round tha :33 mark. Tha 1st verse sounds good. A lil’ on tha Young Jeezy soundin’ here wit tha beat but it’s sounds good for Louisiana shit! Oh, so tha beginning was tha hook? Good shit… Tha 2nd verse’s DEFINITELY focused here!! VERY good shit from Fee!! Only “16 years old” when it comes to “handlin’ pies?” Rough shit for tha hood! This CD’s startin’ ta make a NICE comeback towards tha end! My Rating: 4.4

18. “Been Brand New”
Let’s keep it comin’! >>> Anotha Young Jeezyish soundin’ beat here; you’re holdin’ down tha hook… Lots of “brand new” shit in tha 1st verse, lol; interestin’… Tha 2nd verse’s good enough ta hold this joint down… There’s even a 3rd verse and it’s good too… Okay song that’s above average for me. My Rating: 3.7

19. “Angels” Feat. Rambo
Rambo on tha last joint… How will this sound? >>> I knew I wasn’t gonna really like tha beginning/beat/hook but since it sounds like Sarah McLachlan, I think I gon like it… Pretty dark here wit tha beat and tha 1st verse’s gutta; feelin’ these lyrics! Rambo sounds good on tha 2nd verse too; DEFINITELY a gutta track and endin’!! My Rating: 4.3

Overall: Turned out to be pretty good after all! What a GR8 set of songs towards tha end!! Keep grindin’ and thumbs up ta workin’ wit producers like Q-Red & J Buc! Thumbs up also to those REALLY GR8 collaborations!!!
