Fell asleep, again, but am back… Here goes my next review fa Reco Makin’ Moves, released in 1999 on South Coast Music Group! Start Time: 7:53 PM | End Time: 8:53 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

Tha hook’s cool wit how y’all define “R-E-C-O-N,” y’all name… Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2^nd verse, here, soundin’ pretty nice, of course; keep it goin’…! “We’ve got plenty of weed, tracks ta burn;” that’s tha way ta do it! Tha 3^rd verse sounds a lil’ calm wit tha flow & laidback? A lil’ boring wit how it’s delivered; coulda left it out? Now, it sounds like a long track… My Rating: 3.8

>>> Sounds good wit tha dark-soundin’ beat fa tha ‘90s, as well as tha hook… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it sounds str8; keep it up… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it sounds nice wit how y’all keepin’ it up; decent track, overall… My Rating: 3.6

>>> Beat str8; hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it’s good fa tha streetz, basically… Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds nice; can’t complain… Keepin’ this shit goin’ wit tha 2^nd verse, here, spittin’ dem rhymes… Likin’ tha 3^rd verse wit who they “know,” here…; shout out ta “Ice Mike,” as well… Also, nice collab; let’s see how tha otha collabz go… My Rating: 3.9

>>> Beat cool, here; hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it’s str8, once again… Not too many things are strikin’ me wit this CD but at least tha tracks are fine to like… Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds a lil’ catchy wit how it’s sung…; not bad… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & y’all keepin’ this undaground shit comin’ along; good shit… My Rating: 3.9

Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it sounds like a nice mission ova this regular-soundin’ undaground beat… Tha 2^nd verse sounds okay, as well; just keep goin’…! Sometimes, tha 2^nd verse seems like it’s draggin’ & draggin’… *yawn*; decent, overall… Tha 3^rd verse str8, too; a good lil’ verse ta end it off… My Rating: 3.6

>>> Beat cool; tha hook sounds a lil’ pathetic, as far as tha dry vibe? “Am I my brother’s keeper?,” and then, tha other voice just plainly says, “Yes,” lol. Either way, hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it str8; just anotha decent track, ta me… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it cool; y’all holdin’ it down, tho this too long of a track… My Rating: 3.5

½time: Not one song a 4.0+, yet, tho all tha tracks are above-average, at least; a 3.7-rated CD, so far…

>>> Beat str8; tha 1^st verse sounds good, here… Tha hook sounds okay, here; almost didn’t recognize a hook, at first, sadly… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it sounds good; rhymes are a lil’ catchy wit this “Mexico” travelin’… Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse & it str8; nice but kinda long, as I’m ironically yawnin’, again… My Rating: 3.7

>>> Beat sounds okay, here… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it ain’t bad; regular-soundin’ rhymes, once again… Hearin’ tha hook & it ain’t bad; nothin’ much ta say… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it’s soundin’ okay; keep it goin’, I guess? At least this track’s short… My Rating: 3.6

>>> Beat ain’t bad, once again; let’s see how tha rhymes go… Hearin’ tha hook & it ain’t bad, here; gotta keep it goin’… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & tha rhymes just come, come, come… Got tha 2^nd verse goin’ on, here & it good fa tha streetz, I guess? Not much fa me ta say… My Rating: 3.7

11. “My Best Friend”

>>> Sounds like a dark lil’ laidback track; not bad wit tha hook, here… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it sounds okay, here… Tha 2^nd verse sounds okay, as well; nothin’ ta really say, tho… My Rating: 3.5

>>> Consistent-soundin’ shit from Tre on tha 1^st verse, here; beat nice, too… Tha hook sounds catchy wit tha “Aw, Aw” shit; good shit… Tha 2^nd verse sounds good ta hear, as well; keep this shit up…! Got tha 3^rd verse soundin’ nice, too; betta than an average song, finally! My Rating: 4.1

14. “Gangsta”

>>> Sounds like an okay beat & good lil’ 1^st verse, here… No hook, as we continue wit tha 2^nd verse, here, soundin’ good/consistent… My Rating: 3.8

Overall: Most of these tracks were only okay for me; nothin’ really stood out except for Tre-8. Either way, keep tha N.O. streetz on lock, I guess?

Before I get into tha next review, lemme give y’all an insight on yesterday: I guess Superbowl parties aren’t what they’re meant to be? Each year, that stupid Superbowl comes up, I usually am in my own world, mainly doin’ CD reviewz. Yesterday, I was able to accomplish three CD reviewz and was on a high, as my boy, Doe-Doe, shook back & iz now on Instagram! Even with tha work day a lil’ off, I was really high on spirits. This prolly was my 1^st Superbowl party outside of my house that I’ve been to. Well, I guess it wasn’t what it was meant to be. I was asked to go to someone’s house that I’ve never been to, before, and not even five minutes into tha house, I got up to get a sip of fruit punch, my seat got stolen by tha uncle & I was asked, “Are you gay?” Like, really? I said, “Really? That’s why, they have weed in tha world!” Then, continued to get harassed… Throughout my 28 years, I’ve been able to overcome my autism/Asperger’s syndrome. However, last night, I felt like I was a pre-teenager, again! I was laying on floors, just zoned out, listenin’ to music and then, I went upstairs, went into some play set thing and laid in it… I had a shit-ton of moodswings and was ramblin’ off a lotta bullshit ‘cause I was pissed! A few times, includin’ when we went back to my boy’s house, a few tears were randomly comin’ outta my eyes… With that bein’ said, tha party had no alcohol, no weed, no risky activites and I ain’t get to talk to Doe-Doe after I fleed tha party… WORST SUPERBOWL PARTY OF ALL-TIME!!!!!!!!!! Now that I’m done rantin’ about tha night, here goes my review for South Coast Shorty The Hot Girl, released in 1997 on South Coast Music Group & features Partners-N-Crime, 7 Leaf Figure, Congo, B Shype, Smoke & Recon. >>> Sounds like a good lil’ party-like song, kinda like what a normal Superbowl party would sound like, if it was 20 years ago… Tha hook’s kinda catchy wit this “nookie;” random? Nice lil’ representation fa tha “5…0…4…,” here; good shit… My Rating: 3.7

>>> Decent beat, here; sounds like random ramblin’… I’ono, but this sounds like too much random ramblin’; I’ll just consider it a skit… My Rating: N/A

>>> An okay beat; odd singin’, here, wit this “pussy” that makes “the world go-round…” Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse and you’re tha “pussy” teacher/preacher, here; bring it! Tha rest of this iz ehh, especially with all tha B Shype parts… My Rating: 2.8

>>> Now, a song fa tha dicks, here; you doin’ a decent job wit tha hook, here… Tha upbeat beat sounds betta than err-thang on this, at tha moment… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s a good lil’ “shake”-type anthem, here… Tha rest of this aight… My Rating: 3.0

05. “17^th Ward Anthem” feat. Congo
>>> A slower-produced track, here; decent sound on tha anthemic hook… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s soundin’ decent, here… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it ain’t too bad, here; random lil’ 504-soundin’ verse… Tha rest of this ain’t too bad, but why it 7:19?! I thought I was done wit it but I’m not even halfway through it??? Aight, consider that two verses that went by—my bad, my self-esteem’s so low, I can barely focus with everything goin’ on!! Well, I guess this was two songs ‘cause it ends at 3:51? I really don’t understand… Well, I rarely do this, but I’ll review this as two songs… Hearin’ tha next part and it’s decent wit this beat/y’all rappin’… I prolly like tha 2^nd track betta, but I prolly feel like most are rated tha same, fa me… My Rating: 3.4

½time: This ehh… A 3.2-rated CD, so far; it iz what it iz… Prolly coulda been a lil’ more hyped-up than decent tracks, here…

>>> Sounds bouncy, here; nice lil’ semi-funky beat, too… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s straight…; what more can I say? Tha rest keeps it movin’, in a decent way… My Rating: 3.5

>>> Sounds like anotha decent track, here… Upbeat and on-n-poppin’, tha way you know how ta deliver it, here… Good job wit tha rest of this, but I have nothin’ ta really say… My Rating: 3.6

>>> Decent lil’ bouncin’ beat, here, wit all y’all holdin’ this down… My Rating: 3.7

Overall: I ain’t really fuck wit this CD that much, but it wasn’t terrible…
