Review #1,800: Bubba "Long Live Big Meats World"

Reviewed on 3.23.2019 (Review #1,800)

Been depressed & confused about life, these dayz, but I still get a lil’ moment in between tha bullshit to review…! My 1,800th one, right nah! Gonna prolly be a while till I reach 1,900; I’ll prolly be livin’ in my future house in Florida, by then! We’ll see; gotta keep chasin’ tha dreamz! Fa now, here goes my review for Bubba—one of my favorite dudes outta Baton Rouge! Here’s his latest release, Long Live Big Meats World, courtesy of Money Train Gang! Start Time: 11:58 AM | End Time: 1:10 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> “ iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> “ iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

© 2019 CD Review (Review #1,800) reviewed on 3.23.2019 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Intro (Big Meats Speaks – R.I.P. Marlon Jones)
>>> Sounds good; R.I.P. your dad, by tha way! Felt bad that he took his life right after I met you, in Louisiana! My Rating: N/A

02. “Run Up A Check”
$hop With Ken, here, courtesy of tha production…! >>> Sounds nice wit this production; definitely nice! Even tho a money song, you know I feel what you bring to tha table all tha time, ya feel me? We #80sBabiesInOur30s; baleedat! Lots of rhymes comin’ through throughout tha 1st verse; nice! I agree wit havin’ “love fa a couple…” and all that, with tha times changin’. Can’t be too hyped about a lot, as our circles get smaller, these dayz. Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s pretty nice; consistent, non-stop rhymes! You don’t stop wit deliverin’ rapid fire!! I have to say, I’m really likin’ tha last hook, where you continuously drill, “Run it up, run it up…,” in err-body’s brains, durin’ tha hook! Definitely nice; I fucks wit it! My Rating: 4.6

03. “Do Sumthang” feat. YNW Quarter Baby & Lil’ G
$hop With Ken on this one (that’s what tha back cover says; filename says, “BugottiBeatz”); what “thang” y’all got, here…? >>> Feelin’ what you bringin’ to tha table, here, as well as this production! Yeah, tired of all tha people frontin’ and all they lame, gay, fake nonsense! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and you flow nicely on this beat; definitely nice! Shoutin’ out “Johnnie Domino,” too, here; met y’all one day apart from each other (June 21, 2017 & June 22, 2017). Gotta luv y’all in Baton Rouge; Baton Rouge, where my heart at! It ain’t changin’ wit this undaground rap shit! Got this newbie (tha Quarter Baby) on tha 2nd verse, here, and no matter what year you drop “sumthang,” Bub, you fuck wit good people. Definitely props on this dude fa droppin’ some nice shit, str8 from BR’s hoods! You can tell from tha voice and delivery that you hear that grimy, Baton Rouge shit, str8 from da streetz! Real talk! Tha final verse from G, here, wit some reactin’, in a thinkin’ way. Yeah, sometimes, I “think,” but it seems like I act on impulse, which leads in tha wrong direction, smh. Nice lil’ contribution, here, from tha “Internet,” to “inta dat;” baleedat! My Rating: 4.5

04. “Pain Away”
More $hoppin’ wit Ken, here! >>> Sounds like a lil’ on a sad tip but you got your “shmokin’ ta take this pain away,” so you got dis! Beat cool fa a laidback vibe but yeah, it sux what happened to your pops… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and just like tha hook, no matter tha vibe, you got tha fast rhymes on lock… “Luv all my kids but fuck all they mamas;” crazy havin’ five baby mamas, too! We all got somethin’! I’m just enterin’ tha life of troubled bullshit, as of this year, smh! From 2014 – 2018, there were teases with pull-overs with people & small shit, but now, shit a test! Keepin’ tha 2nd verse goin’; definitely feelin’ your non-stop rappin’! Right b4 tha 2nd verse ended, with you rappin’ over tha distorted part, it’s pretty nuts! Headbang & get devoured by your fast flow, Bub! Likin’ your lil’ hummin’ to hum tha “pain away,” too, toward tha end…! My Rating: 4.2

05. “Like It’z Legal” feat. Spitta & C-Loc
Nunu James on this track…! I had tha exclusive chance, two years ago, to get Bubba & Money Train Gang’s In Too Deep CD, featuring some of these tracks! EQ on this one! For those viewing, if y’all go on my blog, which this review iz on, and find Bubba’s name in tha labels, you’ll find tha older reviewz. For now, I just gon put tha current ratings, if I already have heard ‘em… My Current Rating: 4.7

06. “Father Forgive Me”
Likin’ some of tha featured tracks, here! S/O to EQ Tha Misfit! Crazy that you recorded this & I added it right b4 your dad passed! “Father Forgive Me!” My Current Rating: 4.8

07. “Destin’ Fa Greatnest” feat. Ninja & Shakeback King
Mo from Ken wit this “greatnest!” “Nest!” >>> Sounds like a good beat; gotta always say dat… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it’s cool wit your rhymes… Real shit; always stay around! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and he ain’t bad wit what he bringin’ to da table; it cool… I like how you bring tha hook wit your fast-soundin’ flow, despite this soundin’ a lil’ like a slow/laidback vibe… Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it’s soundin’ cool, too; nice lil’ contribution, too, from these two dudes I ain’t heard, b4…! My Rating: 4.3

08. “In My Feelings”
Ken on da beat, once again! >>> Sounds like a slow track, here; not too bad for a start… Hearin’ da 1st verse and it sounds good wit how you dealin’ wit tha “feelings” of these realationships; good shit. Hearin’ tha hook and it ain’t too bad, here; kinda an okay track fa me, so far… Hearin’ you on da 2nd verse and it ain’t too bad, too. I like how you refer to yourself in tha 3rd person, with tha line, “Bubba, get out yo feelings;” nice…! My Rating: 4.0

09. “Don’t Step On My Js (Remix)” feat. Lucky Star & Lil’ Ernest
EQ on this remixed track…! >>> Sounds pretty nice that we have an upbeat vibe, here! Not “Step On My Polos”, lol? Just fuckin’ witcha… This sounds pretty nice wit this jiggin’-type vibe, with tha “Watch My Shoes” theme of not steppin’ on dem shoes! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and you got this shit on lock! One of my leaders wit tha “fresh” themes! I live like a celeb, dress & sleep as one, too, thanx ta my clothes & people like you! Keep tha kick-ass flow goin’ wit these kindza tracks! “I done spent $250;” when I spent $200 on my spiked shoes, people look at me like I’m crazy. It’s like, they don’t understand tha life & feelin’ of a celeb! Plus, tha attention I continuously get! This Lucky Star a female, here, on tha 2nd verse and she sounds good, wit this “Js” track; likin’ her rap while tha beat’s distorted…! Keepin’ it movin’ wit Ernest on tha final verse, here, comin’ through wit nice rhymes; good shit! Definitely likin’ him rappin’ toward tha end of his verse, where it’s acapella! My Rating: 4.7

½time: Kickin’ ass wit these tracks, here! Definitely glad you got some new shit ta keep shit on-n-poppin’, ya dig? A 4.5-rated CD, currently! Of course, you got your rappin’ on lock, as well as havin’ all original production! You can’t lose wit Bubba & tha #80sBabiesInOur30s vibe, wit this 225-type shit!

10. “BackStabbers”
More features, courtesy of BugottiBeatz, once again, even tho tha back cover has it as a blank producer, lol…! My Current Rating: 4.3

11. “Wasn’t Fa My Hustle” feat. 38 Slim & Ian EFX
An EQ beat, once again…! My Current Rating: 4.8

12. “She Say She Love Me”
With Ken on tha beat, here! >>> Sounds like a slower track, here, even tho a lil’ upbeat… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it sounds like you tryna get through these times… Tha hook ain’t too bad, here; I can fuck wit it… You ain’t tha type to disappoint, so that’s why, I always give you tha benefit of tha doubt wit this shit! Neva stop doin’ what you doin’, bruh! Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse and you keepin’ it movin’, once again; good shit…! It’s always entertainin’ ta hear about your life and shit; not boring! My Rating: 4.0

13. “Real Rap (Pt. 2)” feat. Ian EFX
Full version, featuring Ian EFX? Looks like it gon have an extra boost to it, courtesy of Mod Productions on tha beat! >>> Still sounds good with its original beat and hook; always been catchy/“real!” Nice dat you kept tha 1st verse tha same, too; always consistent, to da bone! Ian sounds like an O.G., on tha 2nd verse. He a decade older than you and even more than me, holdin’ it down wit his gold teeth! He a gold-teeth gator! Sounds good; more like an O.G. evolution of your status wit him on this one…! It makes me look at myself, now that I’m in my 30’s, how legendary I’ve become! I’m startin’ ta finally feel tha success! My Rating: 4.7

14. “3hree 5ives & 7evens”
Of course, still likin’ this title, here, wit Lil’ G on tha beat! My Current Rating: 4.6

15. “Retarded” feat. Max Minelli
Lol! EQ, here! Ironic ‘cause with tha way I’m currently livin’ in New York, right now, vs. tha fact that tha calendar iz tha same as 2013’s, here comes this in 2019! My Current Rating: 4.9

16. “Million Dolla Trap Spot”
DJ B-Real!! So glad he reconnected wit me! My Current Rating: 4.7

17. “My Trust Fucked Up” feat. Young Ready & DJ Chill
Anotha one from a while back, even tho sometimes, I like to think that we still livin’ in those times… Mod Productions on this track, fa those that ain’t know… I actually can relate to this a lot more than when I first heard it, especially with tha hot water that’s been poppin’ off in PA, lately. Also, not even three weeks ago, gettin’ in my car to pick some1 up and tha cops followed me/pulled us over, smh! Tha ultimate “trust” killer!! Lol, kept tha mixed version from your 1st mixtape! My Current Rating: 4.8

18. “Love N Relationships”
Secret on this secret production… My Current Rating: 4.0

19. “I’ma Hustle” feat. Byrd
Though I got as an exclusive back in 2015, I never got to review it. With EQ on tha beat, this a pretty nice one; definitely great fa EQ on this beat! Catchy lil’ hook wit tha hustlin’, on tha hook! You got tha determination in ya, as always! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse, here, soundin’ good. “Made 10 bands in 10 dayz;” that’s what I was doin’, Bub! A stack a day! It sux that certain rules & sneak attacks destroyed me tryna get what I deserved! “Last year, took a loss…;” wish err-body would deal wit they losses, as you kick off tha 2nd verse! Err-body wanna have a win but sometimes, you need dat “loss” to make a bigger win happen! Luv how you speed up your rappin’ at 2:49: “Now, you just fuck me, duck me, neva luv me…” I also like how you say, “Aight (aight),” after tha next line! It’s that swag in ya—I hate that word, “swag,” but I had ta say it fa you ‘cause you definitely got it! Good collab wit tha good-ole Byrd on tha 3rd verse, strictly spittin’ those hustlin’ facts! We all go through jail time, court time, etc.! When it’ll happen in someone’s life? Who knows! Also, likin’ how tha beat rides out toward tha end; good shit! My Current Rating: 4.8

Overall: Definitely some mo good shit, Bub! You’ve had five releases in total, so far, and all of ‘em have been automatic five-star-rated CDs! That’s definitely what’s up! You’ve neva had anythang lower than a 4.0, as far as a song’s rating! I don’t thank many have accomplished that feat; you’re on tha top wit that feat, Bub, bruh! Keep up tha great work; hope we link up again in da Rouge! I’ll keep you posted when I come down, again! It prolly won’t be for a while, since I gotta take care of this bullshit goin’ on. I just know that we’ll still be #80sBabiesInOur30s by tha time I get back to tha Rouge! Baleedat!! Not a year goes by without me goin’ to BR!!

Review #1,345: Lil' Rocket "The Launch Mixtape Vol. 1"

Reviewed on 12.06.2013 (Review #1,345)

Keepin’ tha reviewz goin’, here’s Slauter House Entertainment’s Lil’ Rocket The Launch Mixtape Vol. 1. Just wondering, why a ‘mixtape,’ all tha time? Start Time: 10:38 AM | End Time: 10:59 AM

Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

© 2013 CD Review (Review #1,345) reviewed on 12.06.2013 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Intro”
>>> SMH @ “Teach Me How To Dougie” beat? You know I gon skim through this, then! Random rhymes; not for me… My Rating: 1.3

02. “Gettin’ Money” Feat. Kendall
Horrible title!! >>> Fuck this a-tune shit!! It’s 2x worse when it’s a-tune and “money,” together!! My Rating: 1.0

03. “Don’t Give A Fuck” Feat. Slauter
>>> Good beat, good vibe. Feelin’ your rhymes on tha 1st verse; you’re really inta tha vibe, here! I always think it’s so gay how people kill people “over lil’ thangz.” It’s like, why do err-body like fightin’? Tha Slauter feature sounds nice, too… My Rating: 4.2

04. “Play No Games” Feat. Q-Black, HoodBoyz & Ernest
From this song on, tha track #’s are different. Looks like it says there’s 15 songs, but I only got 14? Since I only have 14, I’ll consider this Track 4, not Track 5. >>> ROFL, didn’t even recognize this title, at first… Once again, Young Hustla track. My Current Rating: 4.7

05. “Hollywood” Feat. Gangsta
>>> Some production from Heisman, here. Likin’ tha beginning wit how you comin’ through, here, on tha hook! See, this iz more like it! I dunno what was goin’ through your mind wit tha first two jointz!! Nice job wit this shit, although a lil’ long? Good appearance from Gangsta, too! My Rating: 4.4

06. “Who Can I Run To”
>>> Gay start; I don’t fuck wit stupid pitched-up samples like this! Not really for me, overall, wit tha havin’-a-hard-time-in-a-relationship content. My Rating: 1.6

07. “Top Rope” Feat. Q-Black & Slauter
>>> Good start wit Deezy On Da Beat doin’ tha track, here. Nice hook! Feelin’ tha energy y’all bringin’ to tha table! I dunno why you keep throwin’ me off wit tha wack tracks on here! It’s like, you go from wack, all tha way ta somethin’ nice! Feelin’ that dude on tha 2nd verse a lot, despite them soundin’ like Level’s disappeared-ass. Tha 3rd verse iz nice, too; gotta luv tha 225 feel wit bein’ on all dem drugz! My Rating: 4.8

½time: Wow, half tha jointz suck bad on here, while tha other jointz go hard as fuck! Weird mix, leadin’ to only a 3.1 for tha CD rating, currently.

08. “Party Pack”
>>> Anotha crazy vibe, here! Could only imagine what a “40 pack of pillz” looks like! I wonder when I’ll eva see that? Luv how this iz so short; good thinkin’! My Rating: 4.4

09. “Reason” Feat. Bengie Bee & Q-Black
>>> Couldn’t catch tha tag in tha beginning, but this sounds good, so far… Tha hook sounds nice, and you comin’ through nicely on tha 1st verse! Good shit on tha 2nd verse, too, as y’all keepin’ it gangsta. This kinda long, compared to tha previous joint, but whateva… “Still a jiggalater”? Don’t give up, Bengie! I dunno how many more years it gon take fa me ta hit Baton Rouge up! Here’s that hyped-up Q-Black on tha 3rd verse! He must be tha best on this CD! I’m always inta his energy!! My Rating: 4.5

10. “Stripper” Feat. TreeHead
Yuck @ tha feature… >>> *Skips* My Rating: 1.0

11. “Bolt Loose” Feat. B-Raw & Ville Boyz
Why tha B-Raw feature? I’m sick of doin’ these reviewz, and there’s at least one insecurity on each CD I review! >>> Got some Haney on tha beat! Hook caught me off-guard. Surprisingly, I’ll have ta admit that it’s not bad! Tha 1st verse even caught me off-guard, too… All I have ta say iz that tha ID should be flipped, and Ville Boyz should be toward tha end. Tha 2nd verse sounds good, until all tha “B-Raw” references come outta nowhere… It’s like, how obsessed can y’all be?! Scary…; I bet this obsession just slides like it’s nothin’, smh! I’m sure he’d get a boner knowin’ that I’m quittin’ tha music-promoting soon! Wishes do come true, it seems like? Just waitin’ for that door to open! Too many broke dudes who don’t acknowledge me! That’s what’s ‘cool’ in this business, sadly! My Rating: 3.5 (would’ve been as high as a 4.4, but that 2nd verse really threw me off!)

12. “Flick” Feat. Q-Black
>>> Wow, this sounds like pure garbage, though tha beat ain’t bad! How iz this ‘mixtape’ music? Next! My Rating: 1.2

13. “Take A Leave”
>>> Gay!!! My Rating: 1.0

14. “S.H. Shout Out (R.I.P. Lil’ Phat)” Feat. Q-Black
Not really feelin’ tha second part of tha title; I just don’t anticipate celebrating deaths, anymore. I can see if it was a family member or somethin’… >>> A new tag fa Deezy On Da Beat… Wow, as much as I didn’t anticipate this, this, at least, iz hyped-up! I don’t really feel when today’s rappers are sampled on hooks. I can see where you’re comin’ from, since this iz a “Shout Out.” I guess I’ll let it slide… Tha 1st verse sounds like you know what’s goin’ on. Almost a lil’ obsessed wit Phat, here, but of course, you’re ‘typical’ amongst peers, so everything slides with you… Commentin’ you wit his shout out: It’s not like I made a song wit Nu$$ie shoutin’ me out. Sounds like Q-Black on tha 2nd verse; not listed? At least he comin’ through wit crazy shit! I thought this was a bangin’ joint; nice job! My Rating: 4.6

Overall: Very mixed… Either tha jointz were real, real good, or real, real horrible! It’s like, you wanted tha best of tha best and tha worst of tha worst, together! Weird mix…

Review #1,341: Lee Banks "All Eyez On Lee"

Reviewed on 12.04.2013 (Review #1,341)

Time ta get back into these reviewz… I have time, but I’m four dayz behind, now… Here’s my review for Lee Banks All Eyez On Lee. A former Short Bus Boy, now with Bad Azz Entertainment, it looks like? Interesting; wonder how that came about? Iz it ‘cause you were born tha same exact week as Big Wayne? I don’t get tha 161,647 mixtape views, though; that’s way too high? Start Time: 10:41 AM | End Time: 11:11 AM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it!

01. “Love Don’t Live Here”
Not really feelin’ tha Madonna title, despite that bein’ my all-time favorite artist. >>> Weird how I was right about Madonna, and it’s a fucked-up version of her on tha sample/hook… Kinda icky for a Heisman sample, but tha beat’s pretty nice… Rhymes are good; you always have that voice fa tha streetz! Now that I’m hearin’ tha hook for tha 2nd time, it sounds catchy fa this. I have ta admit, nice blend between everything! My Rating: 4.4

02. “Get U A Body”
I don’t remember if I remember tha original version; it prolly sounds tha same as tha remix, I assume? >>> Oh yea, B-Real on tha beat… Yea, thumbs up fa this jam! My Current Rating: 4.5

03. “Been Gettin’ Paper”
Q-Red beat. Of course, you already know I’m not permitted to comment on tha production, so let’s see how you do! BTW, why ain’t B-Real or Heisman on tha filenames as producers? C’mon; gotta show luv ta err-body, not someone who’s self-absorbed, gets offended by numbers, deletes comments and can’t handle followin’ someone! >>> Now, tha sample iz Young Jeezy. Though I’m not into money songs at all, I have to admit, wit a throwback Young Jeezy sample, it sounds good when you’re on it… LOL @ tha “crusty; disgusting” shit on tha 1st verse; nice… I’m feelin’ your attitude! My Rating: 4.4

04. “Lost Souls” Feat. Banga
>>> I’m feelin’ tha cold, dark vibe wit tha production; nice how you comin’ through wit this… Tha feature’s good, too; finally, a rapper that doesn’t rap about stupid-ass money! My Rating: 4.3

05. “Blood Thicker”
Lil’ Ken on tha beat… >>> Nice! Almost sounds like Juvenile or DJ B-Real sampled on tha hook; definitely feelin’ it! Consistent rhymes! My Rating: 4.5

06. “Ride Wit Me” Feat. Donkey
Some Bad Azzness… >>> Sounds serious fa you ta rap on…; once again, you holdin’ it down fa tha streetz! Catchy Jamaican-soundin’ hook from Donkey! I think that’s him… This might be him on tha 3rd verse… Either way, feelin’ tha aggression! Consistency at its finest!! My Rating: 4.6

07. “War” Feat. Zoe & Ree-Up
Nice collab, it looks like! >>> Anotha Jamaican-soundin’ hook… This sounds good, too, but tha otha hook was better… You sound good wit your verse, stayin’ focused and at a regular pace… Nice ta have Zoe Realla on tha 2nd verse! Comin’ through wit some nice, undaground, 225-soundin’ shit! Tha 3rd verse iz Ree-Up (y’all forgot tha dash in his name), comin’ through wit regular rhymes; it fits here, but you & Zoe were better… My Rating: 4.4

08. “Mirror”
>>> Sounds like a catchy, real-soundin’ song. I like tha hook and how you come through wit this beat behind you… I can feel it, includin’ my uncertain future! My Rating: 4.5

09. “Church”
>>> Not diggin’ this speech (Tupac?) in tha beginning… I’d prefer you just do you; you don’t need any samples or anything ‘cause you’re too good ta be defended… Tha hook’s a lil’ boring for tha content, for me. This ain’t that bad for me, overall… My Rating: 3.7

½time: Very consistent, so far; no bullshit! A 4.4-rated CD, currently!

10. “Tonight”
>>> I like how tha length’s only 2:38; why can’t every song be that length? Don’t need a ton of jointz or a length through tha roof! Anyway, this a nice, Bun B-like jam, as far as tha production goes! It sounds like you workin’ that wood grain wheel nicely, mixed wit your real-life rhymes! BTW, today, six years: R.I.P. Pimp C! First eva tribute video I made (got it featured on my YouTube’s trailer, today)! My Rating: 4.4

11. “Let Me Know” Feat. April Showers
Bringin’ some snow showers (hopefully soon), where I’m at! It might be almost 60 tomorrow, based off of rain! Random for December! >>> A Wodieson production (why not listed?). Not really into tha start at all, especially that whiny-crying… Not too bad, overall, but this kinda content ain’t really for me, as far as high ratings. I just heard Angel Haze on MCU, and hearin’ this April Showers girl on tha 3rd verse kinda gives me a reminder of her, a lil’. Not too bad; it ain’t bad… My Rating: 3.5

12. “Boaw” Feat. Cupid
Not anticipatin’ this feature, despite tha title… >>> Wow, very laidback, here; thought this would be a club banga… Not bad, but too R&B for me/a ‘mixtape’. When y’all gon think of an album? This would belong there! My Rating: 2.7

13. “Listen”
>>> Catchy beat, here. Feelin’ your rhymes about real life, once again. My Rating: 4.2

14. “Tear Da Floor Up”
Club banga? >>> Yea, this iz more like it, unlike tha Cupid feature! Sounds nice; nothin’ really ta say about this, as tha club vibe says it all! My Rating: 4.3

15. “Bluffin’” Feat. Young Shine
>>> Good street shit, here; I like tha Racked-Up Ready vibe. As long as you don’t sound like a sellout, or wannabe-sellout, then things’ll be good. Always stay in ya lane! And, as far as Shine, it sounds good, Bus Boy Entertainment style, wit gangsta shit, this time! My Rating: 4.0

16. “Crucifixion”
>>> Sounds nice. Tha hook sounds like some classic-soundin’ BR shit wit tha title at tha end of tha hook! Consistency, here! My Rating: 4.2

17. “Mouth Off (G-Mix)” Feat. Mista Cain & Lil’ Ernest
Looks outdated for a mix, in my opinion? Then again, I can see why ‘cause it’s a bonus… >>> Lil’ Ken, of course, on tha track. Yea, last year’s sadly in tha past for me. I tried to carry its torches, but when doors close, there’s no way to be happy about it, anymore. I’m ready fa tha future! But, as far as you & Ernest, it sounds nice! I still don’t get tha whole killing obsession/carry-a-gun-at-all-times obsession. It’s like, why do all y’all have ta have interactions wit people? I don’t interact wit no one; gotta live my life! My Rating: 4.3

18. “Get U A Body (G-Mix)” Feat. Shell (Young Thugga), Mista Cain, Smitti, Young Shine & Racked-Up Ready
I remember…; Mobb Ties! Anotha bonus… My Current Rating: 4.6

Overall: Nice job; I can’t complain, here. Keep stayin’ consistent. When you gon get a commercial from me or somethin’? You gotta be sick of all these so-called BR people not gettin’ commercials or anything from me, right? Like, don’t you wanna outshine ‘em all?

Review #1,315: Mista Cain "Ashes 3.0"

Reviewed on 8.30.2013 (Review #1,315)

Got my final Mista Cain review, and I’m caught up! This iz his most-recent release (only three months old, surprisingly, but no one gets me anything, so it’s almost ‘old’ ta me), Ashes 3.0, from Cain Muzik / Utopia Music Group, once again! Start Time: 9:40 AM | End Time: 10:14 AM

01. Intro Feat. Deezy Cain
>>> Ewe, a Facebook alert in tha background… Very aggressive against dat news story! I think tha news story’s false, too. My Rating: N/A

02. “Ashes 2 Ashes”
Forgettin’ an “E”? “Ashs”? >>> Of course, Lil’ Ken comin’ through on tha beat… Sounds like a catchy hook wit this beat, but I don’t like tha “success” perspective on tha hook. Well, you’re not “24,” yet. In 20 dayz, you’ll be. But, feelin’ your lyrics this time; I think this CD gon be an approvement from tha slowly-decreasing ratings of each CD that came out. My Rating: 4.4

03. “Tool On ‘Em” Feat. Lil’ Ernest
>>> Sounds like your voice iz slightly different, which iz, luckily, different from all these Lil’ Mista reviewz I’ve been doin’… Definitely a nice, gangsta hook, once again! You even got tha 1st verse on lock, too; maybe, you’ll re-connect wit me once you get outta jail? I can’t focus on it ‘cause people say dat to me, and I’m tha longest afterthought in tha world! So, I gotta focus on myself, but I hope I’m important to ya, still… Hearin’ Lil’ Ernest on tha 2nd verse, and yea, anotha gutta vibe, too!! Definitely feelin’ tha lyrics, as well as how his voice drops tha delivered lyrics! “Dropped my album”? You & Lil’ Josh, I neva heard anything except random features after “Jigga Juice”! My Rating: 4.5

04. “1 Of Da Sickest”
Too positive of a title! >>> Very Young Ready-like fa tha beginning, here… Like I’ve said before, one thing I really like about your songs iz that tha songs are short and sweet. What otha rapper from Louisiana drops hits that are 2:50 and less? Err-body be on dat 4:30-and-ova-fulla-bullshit-shit, where I’m sittin’ on these reviewz, ready ta fall asleep! But yea, this sounds like a nice jam, and Ken did a nice job wit tha beat, once again! Rhymes are good; not much braggin’, since tha good vibe of tha streetz keeps it hot. My Rating: 4.2

05. “Check Yo Pockets” Feat. Mouse On Tha Track
Mouse On Tha—not The—Track! >>> Tha “la-da-da-da” sounds like a southern version of Nate Dogg in tha beginning… Here we go wit some Mouse on tha hook!! Catchiness at its finest!! Feelin’ how you comin’ through on tha 1st verse, Mista! Oh, that Mouse hook; he neva fails!!! LOL @ “Dolly … on a molly!” Even a verse from Mouse, on tha 2nd, here… “Donkey” style, lol? My Rating: 4.5

06. “When I’m Dead”
Ain’t that how rappers just mysteriously ‘blow up’? Then again, you’re not even “dead,” but you’re quote-unquote, “big”? >>> Anotha good, southern vibe… “I’mma get my sleep when I’m dead;” hopefully, you ain’t sleepin’ when people call your phone, unlike B-Real! Fuckin’ called him, and he was “sleepin’” when I needed him. He sounded annoying, but it’s like, when people call me in my sleep—especially if it’s a music artist—I’m happy, and regularly answer tha phone, like, “What up?!” I almost wanted to tell him, “Rappers don’t sleep!” SMH @ sleepin’ on tha grind!! Like my dad says, “You only need ta sleep four hours!” But, this sounds good; a regular song by you, wit a lil’ bit of a betta soundin’ to it! Huh? What happened at 2:04? It’s really quiet, now?! Weird… My Rating: 4.2

07. “Studio” Feat. Lady Kym
Tha title = Everyone in Louisiana’s worst, obsessed enemy! >>> Yea, I’m right about my preview; ugh, tha death, deal-breaker message: “Lemme hit you back!” You know how many people said dat ta me, and they still haven’t, years later?! At least I keep my promise!! But, Kym sounds pretty nice on tha hook, includin’ tha beat… I like your descriptive lyrics, at times, too, Mista… Still, I wish rappers would put quality ova quantity! Like Sade says, when it comes to my music, “I only make music when I have something to say!” My Rating: 4.3

08. “In My Life”
>>> This iz a laidback-kinda joint, here… Ehh, this one’s got a pitched-female vocal sample on tha hook; gay. For your verses, they’re aight… These “love” jointz on a street CD ain’t really fa me… My Rating: 3.1

09. “Going Cain” Feat. Dame Cain
>>> Started off pretty quick, tha way I like it! Likin’ tha fast vibe, and what you comin’ wit on this track! Now, when you say, “Cain makin’ money,” iz that drug money? ‘Cause really, you still underground and to me, still a ‘random rapper outta BR.’ Hearin’ this Dame Cain dude on tha 2nd verse, and it’s remindin’ me of some Bad Azz Entertainment-type shit wit tha hypeness! No filler, here! My Rating: 4.4

½time: Nice CD, so far; your CD stands at a 4.2 fa my rating, currently!! I like how your voice’s a lil’ different, your tracks have better features, and these are better-soundin’ tracks ta me!

10. “Pimp C”
You would think Savage had somethin’ ta do wit this song… >>> This sounds catchy and yea, where’s Savage when you need him? Not much ta say, except that you providin’ a nice vibe fa tha south, here! My Rating: 4.3

11. “Round The Back”
>>> Nice lil’ beat start in tha beginning; I describe it as “tha south vs. a classic video game’s sound effects!” Sounds like a drug-sellin’ anthem; I’m feelin’ what you comin’ through wit, here! I like how you talkin’ ‘bout bein’ at random houses and shit; nice and descriptive! My Rating: 4.3

12. “Pressure”
Damn @ not knowin’ how ta spell! You can’t blow up if you can’t spell! “Presure”? And by tha way, I spell “tha”, “iz”, words that end in “er” or “to” with an “A” on purpose, to show that it’s me doin’ all this typing, in case people wanna copy/paste! >>> Feelin’ tha Savage-soundin’ beat start! Good beat, but a lil’ boring wit tha flow. Sounds like you are a “professor,” here, wit how you’re deliverin’ this… My Rating: 3.8

13. “Like My Bitch”
Same song as “My Bitch”? >>> Nope, a new song… This one sounds catchier; I like how it sounds a lil’ like a Mouse song, wit how you’re comin’ through wit tha flow and shit. Shout out ta Ken on tha beat! Could just imagine what your “bitch” be like? I guess, in order to be big in tha music biz/your hood, you gotta have a “bitch.” Guess this why no one pays attention to me, smh! My Rating: 4.1

14. Skit
>>> Crazy @ gettin’ people “pregnant” before you’re, like, 30! My cousin 27 (almost 28) & she’s lookin’ forward ta havin’ kids! But, no kids, yet! She’s patient, slowly planning ‘til it’s time, ya H-E-A-R-D me?! My Rating: N/A

15. “On Ya Body” Feat. Yung Pymp
>>> I like tha beat, here!! Sounds pretty nice, and this track’s nice, overall! It bein’ a “bitch” song, can’t even tell too much ‘cause tha track bangs hard! I like how tha hook sounds wit dat sample in tha background (Boosie?)! Even got Yung Pymp on tha feature, too; shit sounds nice! My Rating: 4.5

16. “In My Ghetto”
I don’t get tha apostrophe “in” tha title? “I’n”? >>> Beat sounds nice. I heard anotha shout out ta Don Dre: “Big shout out ta Doc; he put me on my grind.” Too bad, when I tried re-connectin’ wit him, earlier this year (after three years of no way to get a hold of him), he only answered tha phone once, did not answer any texts I sent (2013, and people still don’t answer texts?!), and didn’t answer any phone calls. Talk about a very, not-serious, hates-promoting artist!! When will people be fun and creative and just answer fa me?! No wonder why you don’t hear from Easy Hustle Entertainment anymore! No one wants dat exposure, sadly! But, catchy song, and tha rhymes are great ta hear! My Rating: 4.3

17. “Déjà Vu”
>>> Sounds like all your other songs: Great beat and how you come wit it! Great “déjà vu” feelings… My Rating: 4.0

18. Outro
>>> Why would you anticipate ta “die”? Also, when you gon quit using that “Cain Muzik” tag in tha songs/skits? Why would you wanna steal dumb-ass Rick Ross’ idea? Why him? He ain’t Louisiana!! My Rating: N/A

Overall: I have ta say, great CD, Mista! Your other CDs were good, but had their weak areas, as well as on a slightly-typical, boring vibe… There was only one weak song on here, but other than that, very consistent, especially with tha lengths of tha songs! Now that I’m caught up, I hope I start gettin’ CDs when they come out!! Remember tha Easy Hustle dayz of 2010, when you were gettin’ a hold of me, and Kedrick was sendin’ me your music, on-time?! Yea, on-time!! Me havin’ tha music on-time was nice and exclusive! Now, everything’s on YouTube by tha time I get shit, and I serve no purpose into why I’m doin’ what I’m doin’. But, hopefully, you take me serious, again! I mean, I’m very close to disappearin’ from many, so with you bein’ in jail, at tha moment, it gon be hard to get a hold of me once you get out…
