Merry Christmas ta err-body out there, ESPECIALLY in Louisiana!! It’s ya boy FrankieThaLuckyDog and what betta ta do than ta do a review nice and early on Christmas, ya dig! For Christmas, I got somethin’ special in tha mail: A few undaground Louisiana CDs from CD Baby but also, a brand new Lil’ Ganggsta CD dat came out one week ago today, ya dig! He dropped Da General Vol. 1 earlier in tha year and now, it’s Da General Vol. 2! I’m glad he no longer in jail and I got ta talk ta him last month! As good as dat was, I’m DEFINITELY sure this review gon do it big too!! Here goes my review fa Lil’ Ganggsta Da General Vol. 2!! Start Time: 9:51 AM | End Time: 10:55 AM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. And who could this MC be? Glad he cool wit you and all dat! Time ta start dis off!! >>> He sounds GR8 wit tha voice and err-thang!! He sounds more like a DJ than an MC! Tha beat sounds pretty good on this shit right here, ya dig! Glad he held your intro down ‘cause he DEFINITELY did a GR8 job here!! My Rating: N/A


02. “Hood Problems”
Startin’ thangz off here officially! How will you handle your “hood problems?” Lemme find out! >>> You got Wodie here on tha beat and it sounds good mixed in wit you once again!! DEFINITELY sum “hood” shit here in tha hook; you ”did yo thang” on it! Tha 1st verse even sounds like you spittin’ more real shit here! Interestin’ shit about tha “jail” and how there’s “so many” people in there. DEFINITELY a nice job on tha 1st verse; tha streetz must LUV you!! Otha than me, what “non-family/non-female” person sent you a letter in jail? ‘Cause you KNOW how I hold you down! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice too; really like tha “life iz a chess game, you gotta make a move” line! You ALWAYS come through wit some good shit wit a mix of gr8 beats, gr8 rhymes and a gr8 voice ta handle this shit to tha fullest!! You got a 1:27 outro? At least you’re talkin’ some real shit on tha outro here! My Rating: 4.3


03. “She Wanna Nigga”
This an interestin’ title and basically, who wouldn’t want you? You’re SO GR8!! How will you get down fa tha females on this one? >>> Consistently keepin’ Wodie on tha beat! You sound good in tha beginning wit describin’ all these different “colors” and shit about tha females and their accessories/attributes; good shit! LOL @ tha “color condoms!” Good job on tha 1st verse and tha hook sounds pretty good/”ganggsta” when it comes ta gettin’ down wit tha females! I hear you on tha 2nd verse now and it sounds like tha gurl REALLY luvs you! She doin’ buku thangz ta help you to tha fullest! You got anotha outro here and you sound catchy here, especially wit tha “that nigga” part. My Rating: 4.2


04. “The Right Price” Feat. Lil’ Keen
Ooh, you got a feature here for tha 1st time! Just like your last CD, I’m DEFINITELY lookin’ forward ta hearin’ what you gon have wit this Keen dude! >>> Sounds like a Wodie beat but it’s (lol) Mod Productions on tha beat! I didn’t expect tha dude on tha feature ta be a singer but he sounds catchy wit tha catchy hood lyrics in tha hook. Tha beat sounds in this beat sound like I’ve heard them before (but not this beat). You KNOW it’s good when you’re here on tha 1st verse! Tha rhymes are DEFINITELY on tha catchy tip; damn near every line was an ear-catcher! Glad you supply tha hood of Thibodaux to tha fullest wit your music!! And previously thinkin’ he was a rapper, tha singer on tha hook iz rappin’ on tha 2nd verse here! LOL, he kinda sounds like he all ova tha place wit tha rappin’ and singin’ but it still sounded pretty cool ta hear him on a verse! I assume there’s not a 3rd verse and more of a Ganggsta outro again, lol? LOL, like ½ Ganggsta, ½ Keen; it sounds more anticipatin’ now! Glad y’all teamed up on tha outro! My Rating: 4.3


05. “Almost There” Feat. Lil’ Ruthless
Looks like a motivational/tryna survive title. Let’s see how dis goes! Hope you got one of tha big dawgs on tha beat again!! >>> I don’t hear a familiar tag/someone’s tag in tha beginning so this iz a different producer fa me. You’re on tha 1st verse real quick and your flow DEFINITELY sounds good here! This iz catchy wit all your lyrics here! Tha verse was pretty quick and tha hook sounds good; you got a club vibe here and it sounds gr8! LOL @ me somewhat bein’ wrong about tha topic of tha song. Here comes Lil’ Ruthless on tha 2nd verse and he DEFINITELY tha shit here; luvin’ tha flow!!! He got a REAL GR8 voice wit his gr8 smokin’/street lyrics here wit a club twist! REAL GR8 newbie and hearin’ him fa tha 1st time; he should fuck wit me on some real shit! And you added anotha twist wit tha fade-out outro too! My Rating: 4.5


06. “Using Your Name” Feat. J.C.
This iz anotha interestin’ kinda title! And you got anotha new feature here so let’s see what we got! *Predicts Wodie beat* >>> That was a good guess ‘cause I was right about Wodie bein’ on tha beat! J.C. sounded cool wit you in tha intro here; good shit! And you’re back up here on tha 1st verse and once again, you supplyin’ these streetz of not just Thibodaux but in my opinion, tha WHOLE Louisiana, wit this hot shit! Gr8 shit, especially your attitude when you said “FUCKIN’” wit an expression around tha :53 mark! Gr8 job on tha 1st verse and tha hook iz DEFINITELY catchy here wit tha whole “using your name” thang! Gr8 job once again and now, you brought ANOTHA gr8 dude here on tha 2nd verse (J.C.)! He got anotha gr8 verse here for tha hood and his “what happened” type of lyrics are soundin’ gr8 here! Tha streetz must REALLY luv this!! You prolly sold at least 100 copies by now ‘cause I KNOW a lotta people hold you down! My Rating: 4.4


07. “The Crown”
Takin’ a break from tha features I see, lol? But, we all know you get “tha crown” in Thibodaux ‘cause you’re like tha only person I know from there/tha 1st person I knew from there! >>> How FUCKIN’ GR8/weird!! Before I pressed play, I said, “anotha Wodie beat,” and YOU just said in tha intro, “anotha Wodie beat,” too; LOL!!! Anyway, tha beat iz DEFINITELY nice once again and you DEFINITELY sound like a king of your town wit “tha crown” on in tha hook, ya dig! Gr8 shit once again fa tha hood! Tha 1st verse doin’ tha damn thang here and we ALL know you, him, he, me, etc. DEFINITELY “spreadin’ tha word” to tha fullest!! Wait ‘til I make tha commercial fa you fa this CD!! I already made you a pre-commercial (fa when this CD was ‘bout ta come out) but when you see tha actual commercial, it gon DEFINITELY focus on this CD, fa sho!! You doin’ ya thang on tha 2nd verse too here wit all tha “true” lyrics and stayin’ motivated wit your “crown!” I like your “I’m #1, you’re # who?” part too! You DEFINITELY keepin’ this CD on and poppin’ here!! Within tha last bunch of reviewz I been doin’, my back would hurt. But, wit this CD, NO PAIN!! I guess ‘cause of how GR8 this CD iz!!! My Rating: 4.3

08. Skit (Tuta a.k.a. Hudley6)
Oh shit! It’s a skit! LOL @ my rhymin’! I’m DEFINITELY lookin’ forward ta hearin’ anotha one of your people on here!!! >>> Sounds like it’s a broadcast from tha bar (based off tha topic) but I’m sure it’s broadcasted from tha studio. His voice iz pretty catchy fa a skit! I thought he said, “bruh,” but he said, “brutha,” lol! You KNOW I luv black people and how they roll! Reachin’ out ta ERR-ONE when it comes to my talents so you KNOW Tuta did his thang on this skit; keepin’ it hood!! My Rating: N/A


09. “Man’s Weakness”
This iz where Vol. 2 started! When I saw this video on MySpace outta nowhere! You should’ve put it on YouTube so I could’ve had a higher quality ‘cause I don’t know how I can get MySpace videos in high quality… But anyway, I know Wodie did this beat and now that I finally have a MySpaceless version of this song, I can hear it in higher quality and finally give it a review! >>> It sounds much betta wit a betta quality here! I can hear tha tightness in tha beat throughout tha hook and err-thang! You got some raw/raunchy lyrics in tha hook wit tha “she fuckin’ and suckin’” shit! Gr8 job wit tha raunchy hook! I rememba tha part around tha 1:00 mark from my Da General Vol. 1 commercial I made when I featured Vol. 2 comin’ soon! You still comin’ through wit tha 2nd verse about tha gurlz just like you did wit tha 1st verse; interestin’ here. Yea, we got anotha 1:00+ outro! Glad you DEFINITELY “strengthenin’ ya niggaz.” My Current Rating: 4.1


10. “Same Shit”
Of course, anything could come outta tha title. I have a feelin’ tha beat switched up ta Mod Productions fa some reason… I definitely wanna hear how you deal wit tha “same shit” and/or express it! >>> LOL, it was Mod Productionsless as it’s Wodieful here since Wodie’s on tha beat again; y’all team up GR8/frequently!! All tha “same” shit in tha 1st verse sounds catchy! I like tha “same ol’ weed” part; dumb shit right chea, ya dig! You DEFINITELY nailed an interestin’ topic here, expressin’ so much of tha “same shit,” ya dig! Tha hook sounded gr8 wit tha way your voice sounded in tha hook, givin’ it an extra vibe! You did ya thang on tha 2nd verse still deliverin’ some mo shit. LOL @ your ending to tha verse wit tha “same shit” repeated a bunch of times! That almost reminds me of a “same” thing as it was repeated; nice double effect! And tha beat outro (just tha beat) sounds good here too on tha ending! My Rating: 4.2


11. “Fake Ass Shit”
Steppin’ up ta tha plate here!! This iz one of those topics where it’s DEFINITELY good ta cover!! I wonder, what’s tha percentage of fakes in Thibodaux (if there’s any)? Gimme all tha news now! >>> Yup, anotha Wodie beat! This beat intro iz pretty catchy/different in a good way here! Tha start to tha song sounds catchy wit you spittin’ some anti-fake shit about tha “fake ass shit” goin’ on! Nice job on tha 1st verse right here, my dawg! Tha hook iz REALLY on some “TIGHT ass shit” wit tha way you sound on it as well as all tha “fake ass shit” bein’ exposed!! Tha 2nd verse sounds like you’re expressin’ some mo shit in tha hood dat’s annoying; glad you coverin’ this topic! Tha WHOLE hook iz DEFINITELY true here!! Yes, tha hook repeated again! My Rating: 4.4

If I can rememba, one, two or both of those dudes on tha feature were on your last CD? Either way, it should be gr8 ta hear ‘em! I feel a Mod Productions beat comin’ ‘cause this looks like one of those club songs; let’s see if I’m right! >>> Was tha first few seconds a beat tag? I don’t know who’s tag it iz but tha intro sounded good and tha hook’s pretty good. This iz catchy and tha beat sounds good ta mix in wit it, ya dig! Tha 1st verse iz here from Trelly and it’s soundin’ catchy here; catchy flow applied ta this verse! Nice job wit tha 1st verse, just feelin’ cool and all dat good shit! We got tha 2nd verse here from D. Reed and he soundin’ cool once again on this shit here; glad he “showin’ his ass” when it comes ta appearin’ on tracks and bein’ in tha hood! I like how he sung your “Do My Thang” song, Ganggsta! Nice job on tha verse and now, let’s finally hear a 3rd verse… mainly bein’ from Ganggsta, ya dig! Yup, it’s you and you KNOW you’re tha shit when you rockin’ “girbauds,” ya dig! Nice job contributin’, Ganggsta. You KNOW you sound gr8 on these tracks ESPECIALLY when you got people from your hood representin’ on tracks fa you! My Rating: 4.2


13. “Live In Effect” Feat. Mayham & Wodieson
LOL, I’m assumin’ it’s a Wodie beat, lol! I know Mayham from your “My Shit Don’t Stink” joint, which was my #1 favorite on your last CD. So, iz Wodie gon rap on this? DEFINITELY lookin’ forward ta this one, ya dig!! >>> Once again, Wodie on tha beat, lol. Speakin’ of “My Shit Don’t Stink,” I hear “whoa, hey” in tha background of tha intro (which was in tha outro of “My Shit Don’t Stink”). This sounds like a GR8 sequel song here!! Tha hook iz pretty cool and tha 1st verse DEFINITELY soundin’ good on this shit!! REAL GR8 flow on tha 1st verse from my boy Wodie and you KNOW this shit iz official here!! DEFINITELY soundin’ gr8 once again and Ganggsta, you’re on tha 2nd verse here, feelin’ REAL GOOD as you’re jiggalatin’ and smokin’ to tha fullest! You DEFINITELY sounded like you were “affected” as you DEFINITELY were “live in effect” here!! Tha 3rd verse iz Mayham so tha 1st verse had ta be Wodie (just added him ta what I wrote ta tha 1st verse)! Soundin’ pretty good on this shit and I always thought he sounded like you when it came to tha voice. DEFINITELY anotha nice collaboration here as he contributed gr8 to tha song! Even tha ending had “whoa, hey” at tha end although tha beat didn’t end cold; it faded out here. To even add: Not only do they look similar but they both have tha same exact length of 4:13; wild!! My Rating: 4.5

LOL, ANOTHA one!!! This iz DEFINITELY excitin’ and should BUILD UP tha anticipation fa tha ending song!!! >>> Exposin’ tha snitches! Glad he exposin’ tha fake-ass snitches! Yea, they DEFINITELY “need a dick in they ass!” Towards around tha :55 mark, he sounds like B.G. for a second and then an N.O. type of rapper wit tha voice and err-thang. This skit DEFINITELY made sense here! So, for tha next joint, we gon expose more snitches? My Rating: N/A


15. “Do My Thang”
Due to it’s this song, I AUTOMATICALLY have a surprise… TUNE IN AT THA END!!! As for this song once again, it’s like a neva dyin’ song!! I started playin’ it in April and it lasted a lil’ while wit me. However, its success got BIGGER October 28 when I re-entered it as soon as I found out you were in jail! It DEFINITELY got bigger and you may get somethin’ in tha mail within tha next few weeks for it! I still need your mailin’ address (which I’ll prolly get soon). Once again, tha song DEFINITELY iz cool and you DEFINITELY sound like you’re tha shit wit this song! You got tha “supa cool” lyrics ta describe your “supa cool” self here, ya dig! Your “Coogi don’t catch my eye; ‘bauds iz my reply” part was always interestin’, although I luv Coogi. When I first heard dat line (and tha hook wit tha “fresh tee and some ‘bauds, mane”), I pictured you as one of tha freshest dudes. You KNOW err-body luvs clothes and I DEFINITELY luv Urban clothes to tha fullest, ya dig! And your clothes are special ‘cause you said, “put it back on up in tha morning, bitch,” so you KNOW you tha shit when it comes ta what you rock! Once again, DEFINITELY an anthem of tha year and you even got a nominee on my 2009 Music Awards fa Best New Louisiana Artist (I Discovered This Year) so that’s a DEFINITE plus!! My Current Rating: 4.6


Overall: You DEFINITELY did it BIG wit all tha songs on this CD!! MEGA THUMBS UP ta dat boy Ganggsta!! I guess it was tha RIGHT Christmas present fa me, ya dig!! I know you gon DEFINITELY like dis seven page review and you’ll DEFINITELY be in tune fa tha commercial! I gon post this review on your page first and then tha commercial after ta show people how “SUPA QUICK I am” (like you said when I did tha pre-commercial)!!

I guess also one uncommon thing about “My Shit Don’t Stink” vs. “Live In Effect” iz dat “Live In Effect” ranked #3 here. Also, “Almost There” was my initial #1 but “Do My Thang” I knew for a while and that took tha top instead. It’s all good though ‘cause “Almost There” iz my #1 on a 1st listen fa this CD!

Known fa tha HOT "Do My Thang" song, here goes my review fa Lil' Ganggsta (wit 2 "g"s 'cause he a g x2)! Hope I like this as much as I'm anticipated fa it; it's BRAND NEW Louisiana music fa me! Startin' this shit off RIGHT AWAY wit a song!! I'm DEFINITELY lookin' forward!! Wodie On The Beat on tha beat right chea! >>> Sounds pretty good fa a start. Good flowin', as well as rappin' here. Feelin' your 1st verse, and tha hook iz pretty good too (like tha 1st verse). Tha 2nd verse was good; you "doin' yo thang" (lol) on this beat. Nice way into this mixtape! My Rating: 3.8


02. "My Dog" Feat. Lil' Bezzle
Produced by Carleon & LT this time... Glad you got these producers 'cause it makes me see how each one does. Looks like there's a newbie on tha feature, so I'll be lookin' forward to that Bezzle dude as well as you on this! >>> Much better beat start (while tha last beat was actually good). Feelin' tha start, and it sounds like a NICE hook!! Startin' off wit you on tha 1st verse on this TIGHT beat... Great 1st verse, holdin' it down fa ya city and this track! Oh, tha 2nd part of tha hook came up wit tha "my nigga (my nigga), my dog (my dog)..." Tha 2nd verse iz startin' GREAT! That Bezzle dude sounds GREAT on this shit! Great job so far, and I'm likin' tha "duckin' and dodgin'" part; evasion iz a must! I knew by that title that it would be good. Thank God you didn't make a song like this depressing! My Rating: 4.4

So, LT did this beat? That's 1/2 of who did tha BANGIN' beat from tha last song! Well, I added this song into rotation last month, and I had a huge anticipation level fa it for some reason... It sounds great, and by listenin' to it frequently, I must say: There must be SO MUCH SHIT I can quote on this shit 'cause this shit iz FILLED wit GREAT SHIT!!! I'ma play it, and stop it in between to quote shit: >>> 1st off, nice beat, and somewhat nice repetitive hook. Next, commenting tha "fresh tee and some 'bauds, mane" part. I give you props fa wearin' tha 'bauds, as well as tha fresh tee too! Gotta FUCKIN' LUV tha "wit a blunt rolled up, my 'bauds fallin' as I walk" part at :31; people saggin' get a MEGA PLUS from me, as well as smokin' dat good kush, ya dig! I like your "black tee iz fa this day, and white tee iz fa tha otha" part at :40. Thumbs up to your "black 'bauds" at :53! GREAT 1st verse right there, and it doesn't stop 'cause tha 2nd verse offers a lot too!! Startin' off tha 2nd verse at 1:37 wit "Coogi don't catch my eye, 'bauds iz my reply." That line caught my attention 'cause it shows your turn down of Coogi, lol. I luv Coogi 'cause of tha polo-type and tha coolness of it. I like how you also "replied" wit "'bauds," lol. And your part at 2:23 wit "put it back up in tha mornin', bitch! [referin' to your tee]" You REALLY into your tees, as well as stayin' fresh; I feel ya on this! This one has D-Low on tha beat (anotha new producer). Lemme see "how you see it" on this track... >>> Great Early 2000's Louisiana type beat, so good production. I thought it started wit a hook, but it went right ta tha 1st verse. Sounds like some pretty good shit goin' on here, although I don't know what to say... At about :57 in, you talk about "some niggaz got picked up fa cane;" interesting, and it's sad to see them get picked up 'cause they gotta pay tha price. Really, they should've paid more attention! Tha hook was good too on this. Let's see what you got on tha 2nd verse here... I know you just said "niggaz bein' 50 when dey 'pose ta be 100%." I have to comment on that 'cause a bunch of people I deal wit sadly be like 0 instead of at least 50. All they do iz delay me, not care about me, and all stupid shit. Hopefully, when I talk to Mr. CEO, he'll keep it a good % real wit me! I mean, you (or him) added me on MySpace before I even heard your music, so that's a plus there. Not bad on tha 3rd verse too on this; thanx fa holdin' this shit down. I like tha echoing ending wit "fuck those niggaz!" My Rating: 4.0

Well, I previously just heard this on "Pyrex Radio Vol. 6", and I didn't say much about it. At that moment in tha CD, I was pissed (over a few wack songs), so then yours came, and it calmed me down a lil'. I didn't know you had a connection wit Big Jay, so that's watz good. If you type in "Pyrex Radio Vol. 6" (in quotes) and then "Commercial", you should get both tha CD/release party commercial, as well as tha boil and softball game one I made. Glad you got a connection wit da Pyrex headz. Now, lemme rereview this song that was on there... >>> Reminds me more of a Wes Fif styled song... Yea, just like before, I don't have much to say. I think tha hook iz good/catchy. Great street shit. I feel bad fa you on tha 2nd verse as you have "a strict PO." Tha 2nd verse was pretty good too. Likin' your ending wit "you see dat nigga every fuckin' day, ya heard me." I like this song better, so a lil' boost to tha rating. I hope it'll grow on me when I keep hearin' it. Overall: Havin' like a gay allergy attack (snifflin' and tearin' like crazy) while reviewin' tha last few songs, but I survived, and tha CD turned out to be GREAT!!
