Review #1,435: Racked-Up Ready "Street Laws (Reloaded)"

Reviewed on 2.12.2015 (Review #1,435)

Time ta keep these older reviewz goin’! Tha ones that sadly won’t make it into this record label that’s behind me’s online articles ‘cause tha artists refuse to send me these mixtapes on time, smfh! This one’s Racked-Up Ready Street Laws (Reloaded), sponsored by B.O.W. Entertainment. Let’s hope this goes by super-fast and that there’s a lotta repeat songs on here ‘cause I have absolutely no time for a 77-minute mixtape, right now! Gotta keep workin’ and gettin’ dat money, exactly like y’all do when y’all push me to tha side! So, let’s hope this goes by super-fast!! Start Time: 5:01 PM | End Time: 6:08 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

© 2015 CD Review (Review #1,435) reviewed on 2.12.2015 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Fred G”
Kickin’ it off wit a new song wit tha length of today’s date… Before I even start this, I think it’s only right that I…
HAVE TO TAKE A SHIT!! *Takes a shit at 4:01 PM…* *Returns from shitting at 4:05 PM…* >>> Definitely diggin’ your voice a whole lot while talkin’ on tha phone; dat Louisiana slang! “I was mad at you…;” and, y’all talkin’? If that’s anybody like B-Real, they randomly get “mad” at me and don’t be talkin’ to me, at all. Then again, I ain’t have no value in this music business at all! Anyway, nice phone call… My Rating: N/A

02. “It’s Real”
X-Fyle on tha beat… >>> Sounds great wit tha beat and how you sound on tha hook; pretty nice, though you have no reason to unfollow me on Twitter, at all! Don’t even think I can play you in my car or around people ‘cause of that; can’t recover easily, especially wit B-Real still havin’ me blocked. Anyway, tha 1st verse sounds good to hear… Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too, especially wit havin’ “tha blunt” and lettin’ “it burn.” Nice job wit how you lacin’ tha track… My Rating: 4.3

03. “Play Of The Week”
Supa Lo on tha beat; no repeats, yet? >>> Sounds like a catchy intro wit tha beat and how you say tha intro; nice hook, too… Tha 1st verse sounds good wit how you “water-whippin’” on this track… “Don’t no nigga owe you nothin’;” I wish that was tha case wit tha Louisiana people I deal wit. I can’t tell you how many people feel like they “owe” me somethin’, especially those that are so insecure that luv to block me! SMH! I should’ve been paid fa so many thangz and should’ve been paid back from shit I’ve done for people; I feel like I have no value… Continuin’ on wit tha 2nd verse, here, and it sounds good; I’m diggin’ what you spittin’, as well as tha endin’ wit tha, “I don’t know my neighbor!” My Rating: 4.3

04. “Wit The Shit”
300 Gang beat… >>> Definitely not diggin’ tha random beat tag in tha beginning; can we go back to tha dayz when there weren’t any?! Either way, I’m diggin’ tha beat and tha hook ain’t too bad, here… “Free ___, he retarded;” censored at 1:24? Betcha it was Boosie? Sounded like a “Ba…” before it censored it. But then again, if that’s tha case, wouldn’t I have heard this, already? Don’t recognize it… “R.I.P. Phat & Black Roy;” well, tha original Street Laws had just came out when Roy got killed, so maybe, I ain’t know this—whateva… Nice job wit tha 1st & 2nd verse, either way… My Rating: 4.0

05. “I Need A Bale” feat. Percy Keith
Fuck, too many new songs, too fast? Supa Lo on tha beat… >>> Really likin’ tha beat start, here… Hearin’ tha hook from you and it sounds nice to hear… “Wait, that’s a sale, callin’ on my cell;” I thought Percy don’t have a phone? I asked him for his # multiple times, and he read tha message without respondin’, smh. Fuck, I wish I could just get outta this fuckin’ music business ASAP; I thought I fell off, already? When will it be ova?! Anyway, here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit tha “deals” ta school on these people; not bad… Of course, Percy on tha 2nd verse; gotta go in one ear and out tha other ‘cause he unfollowed me from Twitter, outta nowhere, as well, smfh! So, with this in-one-ear-and-out-tha-other review, he sounds great on tha 2nd verse; diggin’ what he spittin’! Wish I could just play it, but then, I might just die from diabetes complications, since hearin’ anybody that did me wrong’s like a diabetic eatin’ buku chocolate! My Rating: 4.4

06. “Master P” feat. Gucci Mane
Sure, you pick tha worst one outta tha regular Street Laws, produced by Q-Red… My Current Rating: 3.1

07. “Stay In Ya Lane”
X-Fyle on tha track… >>> Diggin’ tha beat and what you be spittin’ on tha 1st verse; nice rhymes fa tha streetz… Tha hook sounds pretty good, here, except fa tha, “I’m really gettin’ money,” shit; dat shit gotta die! That’s basically tha death of quality rap of tha 2000’s fa me, and tha poisonous death fa Louisiana-soundin’ Louisiana rap fa me, since err-body brings “money” up in their shit, smfh! Tha 2nd verse’s good, too, but why so many “R.I.P.” shout outs? Almost 27 years in this bitch and I’ve not had one person die outside of my family; how ‘bout dat? My Rating: 4.3

08. “What U Been Thru”
Wodie on tha beat… >>> Why that old-soundin’ tag wit Ganggsta, or whateva it iz? Ain’t it so far down in tha past? LMAO, I had no car, wasn’t chargin’ fa shit, and didn’t even smoke/go out at night, back then, LMFAO!! How faggy!! Diggin’ tha years of tha 2000’s on tha 1st verse, here… “2003, murda charge; 2004, murda charge,” and more! Tha hook sounds nice ova this quality-soundin’ beat, too; gotta dig it… Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ good, too; it’s all about keepin’ it street fa your 30’s! Just like tha R.I.P.s, why all tha, “Free ___’s?” And, even down ta all these, “Shout out,” parts? It’s like, I’ll fuckin’ neva get shouted out in nothin’, and I put tha most work in!! Let alone, I just celebrated havin’ 5,000,000 views on YouTube, last night! Where tha luv?! My Rating: 4.3

09. “Thin Line”
Drum Gang on tha beat… >>> A nice-soundin’ beat; can’t complain… Hearin’ tha hook and I agree wit how people be changin’. Then again, why’d you unfollow me on Twitter? Contradicting your own song? Think about it! If it was that easy to unfollow me, it’s that easy to refollow me! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds a lil’ insecure wit tha, “I don’t owe a nigga shit,” shit? You mentioned it in anotha song, but sayin’ it so many times sounds like you’re beggin’ to defend yourself wit it, but most-likely, you’re contradictin’ yourself of actually owin’ somebody “shit!” Just statin’ tha facts! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ good to hear; can’t complain… Damn, I’m gettin’ hungry, but I must continue this review! See, how ‘bout dat dedication?! Gonna starve ta death by reviewin’ your CD; can you do somethin’ like dat fa me?! My Rating: 4.3

10. “Dope Man Bitch”
Fuck, like my co-worker says, “I wanna go home!!” Can’t be sittin’ here for hours… Savage on tha beat, smh. >>> Definitely feelin’ tha beat start and tha hook sounds good… Sounds like a random appearance/sample from Trina on tha hook? Wonder what dat was…? Proceedin’ onto tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some nice shit… You still got your girl’s “phone?” Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s pretty good, as well… Somethin’ about this current music: It has tha quality and it sounds good, but I don’t think it has tha lasting status. Like, I don’t see me even thinkin’ or rememberin’ these songs like I would with your 2006 – 2009 music… My Rating: 4.3

11. “Go Get It”
Lil’ Ken doin’ tha beat; at least it’s a refreshing producer! >>> I see a lotta 4.3 ratings for this CD; let’s see if Ken can break that trend… Definitely diggin’ tha beat a whole lot; almost sounds like a bus or some kiddy sound honking on tha intro beat? Definitely diggin’ it a whole lot!! You claim to “only rap” on “Ken or Savage’s beats,” but there’s plenty of producers on here…? Anyway, catchy hook; beat’s fulla pure quality!! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ pretty good, too. “He charge five, but I hit him wit $1,000;” when am I gettin’ dat kinda money fa all tha promotion I been doin’ fa tha past eight years? SMH, I bet I don’t see a fuckin’ penny! I’m worth fuckin’ shit!! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s good, but just stay away from any money-related shit; just keep it in tha streetz! Damn, at 2:10, it sounded like, “Damn,” or somethin’ was censored? Weird… My Rating: 4.5

½time: Very consistent-soundin’ CD, but mainly, not that memorable for me? Most of tha ratings are tha same, but I think it’s ‘cause of tha kinda state I’m in, wit tha music business… Keep tha hot production and street content comin’; 4.2 for tha CD rating, currently.

12. “Whaddup”
Just luv how this Q-Red-produced track always keeps reappearing… My Current Rating: 4.9

13. “When I Want To”
Anotha Ken beat! >>> Really diggin’ dat bass and tha beat, here; nice job, Ken!! Catchy hook, too; you got it goin’ on, on here, Ready… Kinda soundin’ a lil’ cocky on tha 1st verse, at times, but it’s still listenable… Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ good on this beat, too; can’t complain, really… My Rating: 4.4

14. “Hold That Noise (Remix)” feat. Yo Gotti
We all know: Savage on tha beat. My Current Rating: 4.5

15. “Nothing To Live 4” feat. Eastside Shawty & Zoe Realla
SMH @ tha LiveMixtapes site spellin’ his name as “Zoe Realer;” really? “Zoe Realla!” No producer listed; let’s see what we got here… >>> Beat start sounds like Izze the Producer… Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds good, despite it havin’ “money” in it… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it sounds good… “Free ___” @ 1:02; really? Guess this goes ta show you this older than it should be? Let’s see how this Eastside Shawty gon be… Sounds good fa a start, like it’s Baton Rouge at its finest… “Nothing” much ta say, except that he kept it consistent fa Baton Rouge wit his rhymes… Now, we got tha 3rd verse, and I’ll let you know, Ready: It’s someone that follows me on Twitter! Same thing wit Mouse & Ken, they know what they doin’! Hearin’ Zoe on tha 3rd verse and it’s soundin’ good ta hear; nice! My Rating: 4.2

16. “I Did That” feat. Madd Marvin, Fly Goons & Cain Muzik Mafia
Forgot tha “D” in “Mad Marvin,” LiveMixtapes! Million Dollar Girl on tha track; a girl? >>> Really likin’ tha beat intro; sounds like that 2006, Throwback Thursday, Junkie Medicine (Cocaine Edition)-type shit, like B-Real would’ve produced; anticipatin’! Sounds like a nice hook, here; good shit! Nice job wit tha 1st verse, too, spittin’ some nice shit fa tha streetz…! Keepin’ this goin’ wit tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse wit Mr. Marvin; good shit! Like how he ended tha verse wit, “Wit dat shiiiiit,” holdin’ tha note on, “shit!” Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ like some nice street shit, fa tha 2K14… Lots of gun-related shit; nice ta hear when it’s just rhymes, but definitely keep dat shit away from me if I come to visit Louisiana, wheneva I make my debut… Anotha dude on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse, and it sounds good; nice job wit this Baton Rouge shit! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it’s a weak start fa me, wit, “Money on my head;” really? Why? But, it still sounds nice ta hear… Only one dude—oh, it’s Zion City Juice (or, Z.C. Juice)—on tha 3rd verse; nice job, either way… My Rating: 4.4

17. “I Don’t Know No Better” feat. Lil’ Dundray
Looks like tha Meek Mill & Yo Gotti song, “Know No Better,” on tha title, produced by Lil’ Neil. >>> Why tha repeatin’ beat tag in tha beginning? Annoying… Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds good, and didn’t recognize that it was Dundray on tha hook. Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it sounds decent to hear… And, anotha “R.I.P.” shout out, of course, with tha feature… Three years later, thinkin’ about it, I should’ve made a tribute video ta Dundray. However, after that one dude, Gus, from Dhat Fam dissed my Wne tribute video, I swore that I wouldn’t make a tribute video fa anybody unless I knew them for a while. My products should neva be disliked! I’m always ahead of my time! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ good ta hear, too; can’t complain… My Rating: 4.2

18. “RubberBands” feat. Ray Vicks
No producer listed; not in a money-related mood, whatsoever! >>> Really likin’ tha beat start, whateva this iz… Hate to admit this, and I know it sounds like a guilty pleasure, but I like this! “I’m addicted to rubberbands;” likin’ how you deliver tha hook ova this nice beat! Even tha “marijuana” shit; gotta dig it! Tha 1st verse from you sounds good ta hear; can’t complain… Ehh, I know when I hear, “Gettin’ money,” I instantly dislike it; yeah, kinda a hurdle, but whateva… Hearin’ Vicks on tha 2nd verse and he sounds good. Hmm, I wonder what “weed from California” actually tastes like? Would luv ta know!! My Rating: 4.5 (shocking!!)

19. “Police On Dispatch”
Diggin’ tha title, but I’m not in a Savage-produced mood—oh wait, these songs go in one ear and out tha other, after this review’s done, due to B-Real blocking me! >>> Volume’s a lil’ quieter on tha track, here… And, just like tha previous song, this has a guilty pleasure vibe ta me, too; diggin’ tha faster-soundin’ Savage beat! Tha hook sounds great, too; great, energetic-soundin’ Ready track! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ pretty good; definitely luvin’ how you can bring it on a faster-soundin’ track! Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good, as well; thumbs up fa makin’ a better-soundin’ track, Ready! My Rating: 4.6

20. “Get To The Business” feat. Scotty Cain & Tony Teezy
X-Fyle on tha beat; let’s keep it goin’… >>> Wow, these beats are startin’ ta catch my attention more than tha 1st ½ of this CD! Sounds nice from X and this sounds nice and undaground… Instantly, when I hear tha hook, I can tell this some ‘90s baby-type BR shit… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds pretty good; can’t even tell who it iz, since I been so M.I.A.—yeah, let’s hope I’ve fallen off so I don’t know shit! I would assume it’s Scotty Cain, since they said, “Mafia,” at tha end of tha 1st verse… Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse and it sounds nice; like that you’re rappin’ pretty fast… Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it’s this Tony Teezy dude, who I’ve neva heard of before… I’m definitely diggin’ his aggression, street content and how he be comin’ through on tha verse; great job fa a debut verse fa me! My Rating: 4.5

21. “I Want You” feat. Wochee
Chief Yella on tha track; I don’t think I’m anticipated… >>> Beat sounds much betta than I expected… Likin’ tha hook, even though it’s kinda on a Short Bus Boyz “Loosen Up (Shid Who)” tip, wit tha, “Shiiiid, who?,” shit… Either way, definitely catchy! Hearin’ tha 1st verse, and you’re strictly layin’ dat dick down fa these bitches, here; great job… LOL, “Now, you wanna stalk my home;” really, ROFL? Hearin’ Wochee on tha 2nd verse and he’s kinda soundin’ like Wayne, when Wayne would say, “Nothin’, nothin’; you ain’t scarin’ nothin’…” An okay verse, but wow, he ended tha verse with, “In my Ready voice?” Sounds like somethin’ I’d say, but I wouldn’t expect it from a Louisiana dude… Bleh @ tha 3rd verse start from you, Ready, wit tha, “Instagram,” line…; whateva… Shit, what I gotta do fa you ta follow me? You want me to piss in front of you, so we connected? You want me to fuck a girl in front of you? Tough luck that it takin’ me so long ta get ta Louisiana! Tha unfollowin’ shit’s only gonna delay my debut trip! My Rating: 4.1

22. “Real Nigga 4 Life” feat. Lady Kym
Chief Yella on tha track, again; don’t think I’m anticipated fa this one, either… >>> A nice, long beat intro… Hearin’ tha beat and it sounds pretty nice, includin’ this quality-soundin’ hook from Kym; nice! However, I don’t think you fit havin’ a female on tha hook, Ready; you seem like a dude-dude… But, whateva, it sounds good, here, and tha 1st verse’s soundin’ nice from you… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse right now from you and it sounds good, with a “short temper.” However, a lotta tha people I grew up with, in my family, have “short” tempers… Nice that you “only trust Ken,” but damn, how many times you gotta mention “Mista?” One main reason why I don’t focus on him at all! He was only 2009 – 2011 fa me; afta dat, too many people been suckin’ his dick and lickin’ his nuts! My job iz to only focus on this that don’t get that much attention. You know, tha actual undaground! So, all that otha shit ain’t fa me, at all! I mean, it’s quality, but it goes in one ear and out tha other, just like how y’all treat me! Like, what happened to tha Mista dayz when I would get shit from Easy Hustle Entertainment in tha mail, and I’d be tha only one ta have it? Now, tha world sucks ‘cause everything’s on YouTube or online and no longer exclusive… Like, I remember when Mista dropped a song in 2010 and him and his producer, Young Hits, had no idea what tha song was called! I just titled it, “Yeah;” talk about a real exclusive! My Rating: 4.4

Overall: Looks like this turned out to be a really good CD; can’t complain about it… You really kept it consistent, as always… Whataya, lock yourself inside a studio 24/7 and put out music non-stop? Anyway, I got anotha one ta review for you, right afta I get done postin’ this one…

Review #1,298: Young Ready "Family Ties (Hosted by DJ Wookee)"

Reviewed on 7.04.2013 (Review #1,298)

I got my old mini DV tapes converting/resizing on my MacBook, so instead of sittin’ around and doin’ nothin’, I gon do some reviewz, now that I have tha chance… This first one for today iz Young Ready Family Ties (Hosted by DJ Wookee), off of B.O.W. Entertainment & Crook Muzik Music Group! Originally, I wasn’t supposed to review this CD ‘til I got a hard copy in tha mail from Wook. However, by me bein’ a curious dickhead at times, as well as my free time, I’m like, “Okay, I’ll just review it.” Start Time: 1:04 PM | End Time: 1:47 PM

If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

© 2013 CD Review (Review #1,298) reviewed on 7.04.2013 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Intro”
Production from J.Scalez, here (or, Jay Scales, as he’s spelled on tha back cover). How will we start this off? By tha length, it looks like rapping’ll be in this intro! >>> Now, “Racked-Up Ready”? I rather Young Ready; no need for anotha money name to ruin anotha person’s name! Speakin’ of tha names, what about tha most-important dude in Louisiana? Known as DJ B-Real!! Good intro from Wookee; what do I gotta do to get a shout out? What’s up wit tha “Crook Muzik Music Group” tags? Sounds like dicksuckin’ wit how it sounded! Gay!! Anyway, you doin’ a good job rappin’ about these hoes on this Scalez beat! Nice lil’ “Solo Mafia … shout out ta Savage” part! Of course, gotta give tha king a shout out! Bad ending with tha “liking all my pics” and “I ain’t droppin’ my prices” lines. No need for social media, since I rarely hear from you (I still don’t have your # in 2013, after knowin’ you for five years?), as well as people shouldn’t charge! Collabs are only meant for mutual friendships! My Rating: 4.2

02. “Yeah I’m In This Bitch” Feat. Savage
Ooh, yes! Savage on tha beat, too!! >>> “Mobb shit, biatch!!” Nice lil’ hook, here, ova this nice-soundin’, neva-weak beat!! Sav on tha 1st verse; very consistent wit tha rhymes!! So much ta offer on tha 1st verse, here; real nice job, Sav!! Here’s Ready on tha 2nd verse… Good; can’t complain. Nice endin’ skit dat leads into tha next song… My Rating: 4.5

03. “Insurance Policy”
Scalez, provide some nice “insurance” shit fa Ready!! >>> LOL, nice rhymes, “insurance” style! I know Wook send me this song ta listen to; I remember that catchy hook! “Cancel his Christmas;” sounds like I heard this before, but in case I ain’t review it, I have ta say, that’s a pretty gutta/serious rhyme! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too; consistency at its finest! My Rating: 4.5

04. “Sosa Beat”
Ehh, a jacked beat… >>> Not bad, but if you got all original production, there’s really no need for these jacked beats, especially in 2013? Also, why all tha female rhymes? Gangstas don’t spit a ton of rhymes about females; just stick to tha hood! “My Instagram dumb;” nah, no social network references… Where’s Zeus when you need him? He ain’t all ova tha net, and his street credibility iz tha answer why! My Rating: 3.4

05. “Fast Lane” Feat. Danarryl Von
AJC (Tha Kidd AJC?) on tha beat, here… Lookin’ forward to hearin’ this collaboration! >>> Gay vocal start wit this random singer; yuck… Not really off to a good start wit tha rhymes, either, wit tha “countin’ money” shit. When will “money” be faggy to rap about—oh wait, it iz…, but it has to go away!!! Damn, not anotha “costin’ a fee” reference when it comes ta “a verse or a hook.” Ready, why would you want a random white dude wit no street cred on your songs? Like, if he paid you a stack; doesn’t make sense! MUTUAL FRIENDSHIPS ONLY when collaborating on your songs! LOL @ all those “mollys,” for a song like this? Weird… Funny how you said, “Murdafeen,” too (or, did you say, “murda fiend”)? Either way, it’s like a reference to my boy, Murdafeen, so props ta that! My Rating: 2.1

06. “I’m The Truth” Feat. Mista Cain
Not sure who this Yella dude iz on tha beat… However, let’s see what we got wit this… >>> Random excitement in tha beginning; wonder when all that excitement’ll be aimed toward me? Either way, this sounds like one of tha best-soundin’ beats on this CD, so far! Nice job from tha unknown producer!! Good job wit tha hook, too… Got Lil’ Mista on tha 1st verse, here… Just rhymes; that’s it. Here you are on tha 2nd verse… Of course, anotha female reference (“yo bitches got my thang up”); yawn… Also, “money” shit… Again, it’s just rhymes; doesn’t grab my heart’s attention… My Rating: 4.1

½time: So far, this iz a good CD; gotta give you more props for keepin’ ‘em comin’… Currently, 3.8 iz tha value of this CD; how will it continue?

07. “Guap Beat”
>>> Thought this was an interesting beat start ‘til I saw that it wasn’t even an original beat, smh. Bad intro, here, wit all this social networking shit. I gotta give you props fa retweeting my tweets, but wit 1,300 reviewz in, tons of exposure, videos, five years of knowin’ you and more, I should be important ta you automatically, without me havin’ to do all tha initial work… But, I’m not feelin’ tha 1st verse, either; sounds like you’re tryna sell out wit all this “Hold Dat Noise” ‘legend-in-your-own-mind’ perspective, and tha “phone” shit. Well, overall, tha lyrics were trash for me; not too much for me to get excited about, here… My Rating: 2.0

08. “Freestyle” Feat. Lee Banks
An original production wit “Freestyle” as tha title? Boo on tha production; glad ta hear him again… However, you prolly could’ve had a better title fa this… Maybe, have tha jacked beats have “Freestyle” in their titles…? >>> Good start from Wookee on tha intro, as well as Banks with his consistent rhymes… Iz it me, or iz everyone a father in Louisiana, at a young age? I guess my patience with all that heavy sex shit keeps my consistency goin’. If I was a dad, I dunno if my consistency would continue. I feel like there’s too much distraction. Like, you’re 50% rapper/50% dad; 100% focus iz impossible…, unless you’re real bad on tha other end! Here you are on tha 2nd verse… An okay start ‘til you started talkin’ ‘bout your mysterious “phone,” that I neva talked to on. Tha only one I talked to on was Savage’s, back in November 2008. Rhymes, here, are just rhymes; nothin’ special. Why 4:38 for a freestyle? Shouldn’t it be 2:30 less? My Rating: 3.6

09. “Fuck A Nigga” Feat. Dundray & Lil’ Juice
Got Dundray on tha beat, too… >>> Why tha beat tag in tha beginning? When will people learn, instead of followin’ all these stupid trends? But, tha beat don’t sound that bad… This sounds betta than some of tha shit on here; doesn’t even fit on this CD ‘cause of how it has a Baton Rouge sound on it, where this CD’s not really 100% Baton Rouge, fa me… Hearin’ this 1st verse, and it sounds good fa tha vibe… “Free my nigga M Dot & free my nigga 4;” glad M Dot’s outta jail, now! Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse… Betta rhymes from you. I wonder if you’ll be shoutin’ me out when I’m long gone. “When I heard dat shit ‘bout Mista, I could’ve fuckin’ cried;” wow, lots of emotion, here! I dunno who’ll “cry” fa me; I don’t even think I have value to anyone… Well, maybe to B-Real; that’s prolly it… Others, I prolly don’t know about… Back to tha song, we got tha 3rd verse, and it sounds like tha dude on tha 1st verse; that good vibe from tha 1st verse, continuing… Does everyone have friends or somethin’? I don’t know anyone that doesn’t say, “Free,” somebody. I guess it’s Lil’ Juice ‘cause they said, “Rest in peace Lil’ Dundray.” My Rating: 4.3

10. “Understanding Beat”
Noooooooooooo………………… >>> I take off for pre-pasted hooks, too… This ain’t for me at all; why this soft, female shit?! Mixtape, or album?! Fuck, anotha “phone” line!! Ahh, I can’t tolerate these rhymes any longer (2nd verse)!! My Rating: 1.1

11. “Look How That Ass Movin’” Feat. Dundray
Lil’ Ken beat, but why this topic?! >>> Anotha really good-soundin’ beat, but I swear, this doesn’t sound like it belongs on this CD! This belongs on, like, a Pyrex Radio edition or somethin’! Almost thought that was Mista on tha 1st verse, but I guess it’s Lil’ Dundray, comin’ through wit some Mista-soundin’ rhymes… Hey, why this beat sound like DJ B-Real & Zeus’ “It’s Nothin’” off dat Pay Da Producer Vol. 1 CD? Its format iz very similar, hence their similar lengths, too! Anyway, here you are on tha 2nd verse, Ready, but why a reversed word (“Ferneshia”? A name?)? Damn, anotha “call” reference; why?! Either way, I enjoyed this one… My Rating: 4.4

12. “So What” Feat. C-Loc
Endin’ it with a production from… fuck, no one! >>> Good start wit Loc on tha hook, but damn, anotha female reference? I didn’t know hoes were tha essence of keepin’ it 100% street, smh?! Too commercial wit these rhymes from Loc, here, on tha 1st verse and hook… Jumpin’ right inta tha 2nd verse wit you, Ready; let’s see how much longer ‘til a female—“jump from dick ta dick;” okay, somethin’ came up before I could even finish my sentence, smh… I like tha “Toni Braxton” reference about hittin’ “a note,” but too many female references, once again… My Rating: 3.7

Overall: I think I know why Wookee didn’t send me a hard copy of this… I almost thought this was a compilation CD, but it’s just about average for a CD rating; nothin’ spectacular for me… My suggestion for you on future music: Please, don’t go by “Racked-Up Ready;” don’t need anotha artist turning watered-down with a money name! One artist I talked to had a cool name, but then, they turned it into “G-Money”. I swear, I don’t think I wanna even hear their music anymore; I have a unique mind that doesn’t follow others, so I don’t fuck wit typical shit that everyone ‘likes’. Next, if you keepin’ it all tha way street, you need to let go of a bunch of tha female references. Almost every song on this CD had a female reference. Like, where’s tha “Gangsta Bow” shit, or tha shit with Zeus that I grew up to? DJ B-Real gangsta vibes? Maybe, you gotta go back to Camp Life Entertainment again? Or betta yet, just wait for my new album to come in tha future (this year or next year), about news stories in my life! Hope you take these considerations serious… Whether or not I eva hear from you through tha phone again, I just know that I’ll be gettin’ a job in tha video world, real soon, so there might not be anymore phone calls with me… I’ll be communicating with people who write me back and check out my shit!

Review #1,254: Doodie Da Juvie "Still Da Juvie"

Reviewed on 2.02.2013 (Review #1,254)

Next up, Juvielyfe Entertainment’s Doodie Da Juvie Still Da Juvie. Start Time: 11:07 AM | End Time: 11:26 AM

If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. “Still Da Juvie”
Lil’ Ken beat. >>> Nice beat; sounds like a good track. Sounds like you’re into sex real early? Sounds good, overall; nice job… My Rating: 4.0

02. “Drop Me Off”
Q-Red On The Track beat. >>> Prolly could’ve done without tha Boosie sample; wanna keep it underground when I hear music! Sounds like a good, random song, overall; nice job, Juvie. My Rating: 3.8

03. “Lemme Find Out” Feat. Ville Boyz
Haney beat; glad to hear Haney again… >>> Anotha catchy song wit good production; nice collaboration. My Rating: 3.9

04. “Pourin’ Up A 4” Feat. Bitty B & Smoove
Haney beat; I remember this… Glad you picked one of tha more-normal songs from that previous CD. My Current Rating: 3.8

05. “Same Ol’ Shit” Feat. K.T., J-Skillz & Money Bagz
K.T. beat. >>> A nice lil’ song about real shit in tha streetz…; why no listed female singer on tha hook? Also, Money Bagz iz last; J-Skillz comes first! My Rating: 3.7

06. “Find Me Wit My Heater”
Haney beat; why tha paranoid title? Now, there’s gun control, luckily! >>> Don’t like hearin’ about this gun shit; everyone has paranoia problems. Glad I only touched a gun, like, once, only ‘cause we were moving my great-grandma’s house in Florida. Either way, it sounds like a real nice track wit this pure production… My Rating: 4.2

07. “Tonight” Feat. Purple Label
Haney beat; not bad pick, and I’m feelin’ it betta… My Current Rating: 3.8

08. “Make Dat Money” Feat. Lil’ Dundray & Bitty B
Lil’ Dundray beat; not really my kinda title… >>> Wow, you don’t even know who produced this track? SMH, you don’t know who Young Hits iz? That’s who produced this! SMH @ tha random error…! Either way, good thing this iz short; not really for me at all, though! My Rating: 2.3

09. “3 Loaded” Feat. Bitty B, Carson Carter & Rick
DJ B-Real beat. >>> Ironic dat I’m reviewin’ this at 11:15 AM, DJ B-Real birthday time! Kinda reminds me a lil’ of tha “Pourin’ Up A 4” song. Tha production’s real nice and sounds like some old, BR-type undaground shit, here! Tha song ain’t too bad, here; all of tha features are random and pretty-much unknown fa me, so nothin’ really stands out as far as exciting… But, good job on tha hook and havin’ this feel-good track. My Rating: 4.1

10. “‘Bout My Money” Feat. Q-Red On The Track
Q-Red On The Track beat; LMAO, should I pretend to like this? >>> Well, I can only review your part, sadly; it sux when certain people aren’t nice in tha music business! :( I was just sending awards! :( But, this was good, but as always wit tha topic, not for me! My Rating: 4.3

½time: A 3.8-rated CD, currently; not bad…

11. “Feel Mah Pain” Feat. Money Bagz
Haney beat. >>> Glad this ain’t depressing; good beat from Haney and this iz actual catchy for a song about “pain.” My Rating: 3.8

12. “Center Of Attention” Feat. T.E.C., J-Skillz, Bitty B, Lil’ Feet & Lil’ Frank
Big Wayne beat. >>> Nice beat and okay song, but I’m not really into these features, especially so many of ‘em. My Rating: 3.6

13. “Hold It Down”
Lil’ Ken beat. >>> Good beat; sounds like a good song, mainly based off tha production. My Rating: 3.8

14. “I Don’t Care”
Bitty B beat. >>> WHY THA BEAT TAG?!? WHY IT AGAIN?!? This fuckin’ generation, smh!! When will beat tags get away from tha tracks? They’re so faggy and hella annoying!!! But, anotha good song from you, like tha previous one. My Rating: 3.8

15. “Mama Dedication”
Lil’ Ken beat. >>> This ain’t too bad; sounds as good like tha previous songs, but I think I like those a lil’ better… My Rating: 3.6

16. “Take A Ride”
Haney beat. >>> Sounds nice; sounds a lil’ quiet in tha beginning… I like tha hook and as always, you’re comin’ through wit listenable rhymes ova a good, original beat… My Rating: 3.9

17. “Make It Rain” Feat. Short Bus Boyz
Haney beat; why this again??? My Current Rating: 1.4

18. “Me, Myself & I”
Haney beat. >>> Catchy hook; sounds like a good song. Yea, you “don’t need no gun!” My Rating: 3.9

19. “Superstar” Feat. Dat Boy A
Haney beat. >>> Thought I’d hear rhymes from A, but this ain’t too bad for a singin’ hook. Also, thumbs up to tha production, here! Nice collaboration, along wit those listenable rhymes… My Rating: 4.0

20. “She Tired” Feat. K.T.
K.T. beat; does it even matter to put “bonus”? >>> Nice for a beat and singin’ hook, but a lil’ too long of a song… Your rhymes are aight, here; tha other tracks seemed better wit tha lyrics and shit. My Rating: 3.5

Overall: This went over relatively smooth… It seems like you have shit on lock wit tha original production. I know tha previous CD had original production on it, but there was too much yada-yada, 2010s generation style. Either way, keep up tha good work!

Review #1,253: Juvielyfe Entertainment "Life Of Dat Juvielyfe"

Reviewed on 2.02.2013 (Review #1,253)

Because I need a job soon, I’m gonna have to really breeze through these reviewz… This upcomin’ review right here iz Juvielyfe Entertainment Life Of Dat Juvielyfe. Group members are Big Collione, Lil’ Bitty B, Lil’ Rodney, Smoove Da RB, Wreckthang, Carson, Mako & (of course) Doodie Da Juvie Couple dealbreakers: 1. This iz from 2011; why didn’t I get it then, smh? 2. Tha total length of this CD’s 1:24:01; it doesn’t fit on a CD! It sold 0 copies, then? Start Time: 10:12 AM | End Time: 10:29 AM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! 01. “DoodieShyt” Feat. Q-Red On The Track, Lil’ Frank, Lil’ Feet & J-Skillz
>>> A lil’ young for me; I’m not into tha lyrics at all! My Rating: 2.2

02. “Dumbo” Feat. Q-Red On The Track
Not another uncomfortable feature, back to back!! >>> This iz betta than tha previous…; sounds like Ville Boyz. My Rating: 4.2

03. “Juvies” Feat. J-Skillz
Same here!! >>> Why tha beat tag? Ugh, this fuckin’ generation!! Not too bad; at least it’s got a lil’ bit of a jammin’ vibe to it… My Rating: 3.1

04. “Make It Rain” Feat. Self-Made Yungstaz
SMH @ tha back cover bein’ all un-updated, sayin’ tha feature’s Short Bus Boyz; that was so long ago, that name! >>> Good beat, but not for me at all! I got robbed by a BR artist who made a song about “money;” why you think I can’t handle this shit?! My Rating: 1.4

05. “Ask Them Hoes” Feat. T.E.C., JusDeeJay & TreeHead
I think this iz gonna be a-tune; hope to skip ASAP! >>> Actually, no a-tune, luckily, but like tha previous song, good beat, but not really feelin’ tha lyrics at all. My Rating: 2.3

06. “Pass Around” Feat. Lil’ Dundray, J-Skillz & G
Who’s “G”? >>> Low volume? This sounds better; nice lil’ jam, here, but fix tha volume! My Rating: 3.5

07. “Money Smell” Feat. J-Skillz
“Money” iz a very offensive title to me; it’s like callin’ a black person tha N-word, E-R, but I’ll be nice and keep tha original rating. My Current Rating: 4.5

08. “Just Another Gurl”
>>> Okay for a sample on a beat like this; good job wit tha beat, here. Surprisingly, this iz more normal for me, on here… My Rating: 3.6

09. “Pourin’ Up A 4”
>>> This ain’t bad; good vibe fa feelin’ fucked up… My Rating: 3.8

10. “My Nigga”
>>> This sounds good; I like how everyone sounds on this shit, includin’ tha hook. My Rating: 4.1

½time: A 3.3-rated CD, currently; this ain’t really my generation, especially if y’all born after 1987… I don’t really fuck wit this whole geeky-ass glasses, a-tune, swag, money, hoes, haters-type shit that everyone raps about!

11. “Play Dat Shyt” Feat. Q-Red
NOT AGAIN!!! Wait, where’s tha file? Well, I can’t review it if there’s no file. My Rating: N/A

12. “I Get Money” Feat. Ville Boyz
Not anotha “money” song again!! >>> Of course, tha hook sucks wit tha same sample 50 Cent used. Yea, this ain’t for me at all! My Rating: 2.4

13. “Start A Fight” Feat. Big World & Big Wayne
Big World from Macked Out Music? >>> This iz more normal; sounds good, and this cockiness iz okay. However, Big World’s 1st and Big Wayne’s 2nd on tha 3rd verse; no dickridin’ wit tha order and smh @ no Big World on tha back cover! Nice job wit tha features; they helped a lot! My Rating: 4.5

14. “Big Truck” Feat. WatchDatBaby, JusDeeJay, Lil’ Frank & Lil’ Rick
>>> Good beat and okay content… Lyrics a lil’ cocky wit this “V.I.P.” shit? My Rating: 3.0

15. “I Know You Wanna”
>>> Simple, but not bad… My Rating: 3.2

16. “Jus Do My Shyt” Feat. JusDeeJay
>>> Not bad for a slower vibe… My Rating: 2.8

17. “Walk Down On Ya”
>>> Good, energetic-like song; I can feel tha vibe, this time. My Rating: 4.0

18. “Tonight” Feat. Purple Label
Also known as Click Tight, I would assume from tha back cover? >>> Anotha slow vibe; this ain’t bad… I like this betta than tha previous slow-vibe song. My Rating: 3.3

19. “Life Of Dat Juvielyfe”
>>> Voices kinda scare me, here… Overall, it ain’t too bad, but a lotta fear when tryna get through this one… My Rating: 2.5

20. “#lildoodieshyt”
Random bonus that was not included on tha back cover… >>> Random song for me; fits wit tha rest of this CD… My Rating: 2.6

Overall: I knew by some of tha features that this was gonna be a turn-off for me. Plus, a lot of tha material sounded too much like this stupid generation. Oh well, that’s how it goes, sometimes. I have another CD to review from Doodie, so we’ll see what happens wit dat one.
