Broadcasting from an icy waterfall, here in Pittston, PA, it's ya boy, FrankieThaLuckyDog here, sadly reportin' anotha tragic loss in tha Louisiana rap community:
Eric Johnson, known by his stage name, Vicious, from tha rap group, X-Mob, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019, after battling complications from Stage 4 cancer in jail; he was only 51 years-old.
Johnson was from tha Lake Charles area of Louisiana. During tha early '90s, he formed tha group, X-Mob, with Bundy G & Slice, as E-Vicious. Courtesy of X-Mob Records, X-Mob released their debut album, Handlin' Thangs, in 1994. In 1995, they started releasing music under Par-Le Records and released their 2nd album, Ghetto Mail. In 1997, X-Mob's 3rd & final album, Paper Chasing, was released. In 1998, X-Mob collaborated with Cali rapper, B-Legit, and released "Nationwide", featuring Nitro, on Ruthless Records. Tha song was featured tha following year on tha Turf Stories movie soundtrack. In 2002, Johnson went on to pursue a solo career, releasing his debut solo album, I Ball Like Kobe, on Par-La Records. In 2004, he dropped two projects: Strictly For Da Streetz, Vol. 1, on Par-La Records & Walk Like A "G", on Eye 4n Eye Records & Par-La Records. In 2007, Johnson released two collaboration projects. First, teamin' up wit Lafayette's Mr. Phat for Southwest Rioters Better Getcha Mind Right, on Vicious Entertainment. Second, teamin' up wit N'awlinz rapper, Lil' Domicci, for Hurricane, Sugacane & Cocaine, Vol. 1, on GK Records, Utopia Entertainment & B.O.M. Entertainment. In 2008, Johnson released another collaboration project, this time with Houma rapper, Husaholic, Am I My Brother's Keeper, on 1008 Grams Entertainment & Vicious Entertainment. Tha Husaholic collab-project would put Johnson's career on hold, as he soon found trouble with tha law. On tha night of May 18, 2012, a 43-year-old by tha name of Ray Ryan, was murdered. Johnson was later accused of provoking tha violence that lead to Ryan's death, though charged with "inciting a riot with death," facing up to 21 years in prison. In 2016, Johnson released multiple CDs, which would be his final releases: Back 2 Tha Money: The Tale Of A Trill O.G., United Hates Of America, The Final Chapter, Underground Kingz with Yung Goldie, Straight Drop (The Mixtape), Answer 2 Da Question & Possession Wit Intent, all on Vicious Entertainment. Johnson woulda lived to see 52 if he made it to August 21.
Moments:
On October 15, 2011, during Frankie's former radio show, "Tha Louisiana Pit", X-Mob's song with Pimp C, "Good Times", would unexpectedly play a part in ruining Frankie's interest in rap music about money. An artist from Baton Rouge, who was featured on that show's episode, flashed $2,000 on camera & threw it at Frankie. A month later, on November 17, 2011, Frankie lent tha artist $500 to come back up to Pennsylvania. Tha artist wound up calling off and didn't return tha money to Frankie till October 6, 2018. Even though tha money was returned almost seven years later, tha incident left Frankie scarred, as he questioned rappers' financial lifestyles & started disliking lyrics about money.

FrankieThaLuckyDog, celebratin' my boy, M Dot, who's with SPT Records & iz a part of tha Lake Boys' birthday, July 1, 2015! Shot in my room in Peckville, PA, I spelled "Happy Birthday M Dot" outta New York scratch-off lottery tickets.
Reviewin’
a CD in tha Gaslight Inn (where my brother’s stayin’ at), on Long
Island! Gotta get a review in this hotel while I’m at it! This one
iz for SPT Records’ Lake Boys The Take Over; FREE M DOT &
YOUNG 4—BOTH LAKE BOYS NEED TO GET OUTTA JAIL!!! This iz prolly some years old,
and I think it’s a jacked-beat CD… Start
Time: 12:12 PM | End Time: 12:41
PM
Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!
I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long
as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and
then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a
song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6
rating, I pretty much really love it,
as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I
hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type
before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything
after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening
to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or
talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’
topics), I’m not buyin’ it!
I
don’t have a tracklisting… >>> “‘Bout It, ‘Bout It” beat; guess it’s a
“Lake Boys” CD and not just M Dot, according
to tha beginning? Either way, likin’ tha UPT-type hood shit! Nice representin’,
M Dot! I assume Nu$$ie, Big Markee & all them must’ve still been alive,
since they’re still “doin’ it,” here.
But, nice job by yourself, Dot! My
Rating: 3.9
02.
>>>
Almost sounds like a ‘90s beat, but I don’t recognize it; nice vibe! “Pop 1,
pop 2”-type shit, here; likin’ tha combination of “jiggin’” and this
gangsta-soundin’ beat! This must be tha
Lake Boys ‘cause I hear
anotha dude, comin’ through wit some good shit…; almost sounds like Dog Da
Cutthroata? M Dot, you’re continuin’ ta hold shit down on this track; I feel
like I’m listenin’ to Master P or somethin’, right now, and I’m into this vibe!
My Rating: 4.4
03.
>>>
This beat iz a Mannie Fresh jacked beat; lemme remember which one it iz… Can’t
exactly remember; iz it Lil’ Flip/Mannie Fresh “What It Do”? I don’t have an
internet connection in this hotel… Either way, both Lake Boys
are on here, and it sounds listenable. M Dot’s holdin’ this “Jigga City”
hook down, tryna “get [his] paper right!” Hearin’ M Dot on tha 2nd
verse, and he’s talkin’ to alive-“Big Markee,” as well as alive-“Nu$$ie;” oh, I
miss when they were breathin’!! More M Dot comin’ through on tha 3rd
verse, and I’m likin’ what he sayin’, here, from tha car drivin’ to tha real
vs. fake people. My Rating: 3.8
04.
>>>
Don’t recognize tha beat, but it sounds like ‘90s again, and there’s singin’ on
tha hook. Sounds like they’re singin’, “Hurry?” Not much for me, but let’s see
how tha verses turn out… M Dot’s on tha 1st verse, and it sounds
decent wit tha “cash” shit he spittin’… Got Young 4 on tha 2nd
verse, and tha mainstream vs. hood-soundin’ rhymes are aight for me, here… As
far as tha rest, tha both of y’all did a decent job. My Rating: 3.6
05.
>>>
This beat’s Young Jeezy/Bun B “Over Here”; iz this CD from ’05 or ’06? I know M
Dot keeps sayin’, “R.I.P. Lil’ Ivy.” Think we’re startin’ off wit Young 4, and
tha rhymes are listenable; glad y’all moved onto original production, now…
Young 4 did an okay job; let’s see what M Dot has to offer on tha 2nd
verse… Likin’ tha 225 hood shit, here. Got more 4 on tha 3rd verse,
soundin’ good for tha undaground. My
Rating: 3.5
½time: For mainly a jacked beat
CD, I think this iz above-average; 3.8 for tha CD rating, currently.
06.
>>>
Original production? Almost sounds like somethin’ 2 Saint would produce or
somethin’… Got some “just a week ago” shit repeatin’ in tha 1st
verse, here, M Dot; catchy… Sounds like this iz a “stacks” song? Tha hook also
has trust issues bein’ discussed; gotta feel this! My Rating: 3.9
07.
>>>
Oh, I know this beat, too, ‘05ish style, I think? Almost sounds like Ja Rule’s
“Clap Back”, but I have a feelin’ it’s newer than that… Hook has a “they don’t
like me” thing goin’ on, here; a lil’ on tha catchy… Tha 1st verse
iz Young 4, and it sounds like he doesn’t have a problem gettin’ things…
Overall, this wasn’t too bad for just Young 4 bein’ on this… My Rating: 3.6
08.
>>>
This anotha familiar beat; sounds like somethin’ DJ Toomp would produce, like a
T.I. joint…? “Lake
Side” representin’, here;
good shit, M Dot! I swear, M Dot could sound like a Master P cousin or
somethin’… Got Young 4 on tha 1st verse, and he’s lookin’ for some
encounters, lol! M Dot’s on tha 2nd verse, and he’s representin’ for
tha streetz, too! Even showin’ tha “platinum and gold” people, too? Should we
now call GPS tha MPS? LOL… My Rating: 4.0
09.
>>>
Lil’ Jonish beat; sounds like “Quick To Back Down”? Either way, err-body in tha
225 “‘bout dat dumb shit!” Catchy hook, here; tha 1st verse from M’s
soundin’ pretty good, how err-body’s attitude holds shit down in a gangsta way…
Now, 4’s on tha 2nd verse, and it’s soundin’ like a treasure hunt
gone wrong, lol. New person on tha 3rd verse? Not sure who this iz,
but I like their “fuckin’ wit tha LAKE
BOYS!!!” intro to tha
verse! Great endin’ wit how “soft” err-body really iz, like when they “bust a
nut;” “dumb shit,” here!! My Rating: 4.0
10.
>>>
Tha final one, and it sounds like an R&B jacked beat? Ehh, doesn’t sound
like a mixtape track? What’s this weird singin’… Oh, it’s about missin’ your “homie.” Still, not likin’
tha hook’s vocals… Nice lyrics from Dot on tha 1st verse, as well as
4 holdin’ it down, too, on tha 2nd verse… My Rating: 3.0
Overall: Nothin’ too exciting, but
it was good to review this from y’all; hope y’all really get free soon!!

My
3rd review for today iz named for me turnin’ 23 and sayin’ goodbye
to my gross-ass, previous age of 22! This iz my review for FrankieThaLuckyDog Presents “Tha Louisiana Archives Vol.
6: 23 Tackles 22 (Hosted by FrankieThaLuckyDog)”! I finally think this iz tha 1st
time I didn’t put a dickhead on my compilation! Who needs dick anyway? Rather
get money!!! Start Time: 12:19 PM | End Time: 12:38 PM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I
don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like
it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites,
I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I
love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s
considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a
5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I
listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of
tha song while I’m listening to it.
I
believe I used my “Invisible” beat for tha intro, here; glad I’m losing my
invisibility, finally!! My Rating: N/A
02.
M Dot Feat. DMX & Savage “How You Want Do It”
Hope
M Dot gets outta jail soon!! One of tha craziest collaborations!! M Dot told me

rotation!! Luv dat hook and character of Crooked; an addictive song!!! My Current Rating: 4.9
04.
2ooley Feat. Lil’ One Da Ryder & C-Dash “Hercules”

Rating: 4.6
06.

me bounce tha livin’ shit outta my head in public!!! :rofl My Current Rating: 4.8

chance to listen to music, these dayz… My
Current Rating: 4.7
½time: I think this iz one of my
