"1980, 1981; 1982, '83, '84. '85, '86, '7, '8, '9." -
On June 21, 2018, I turned "30"; on August 4, 2018, it was EDM DJ, Max
Vangeli's 33rd birthday & I won my first-eva handpay at tha casino:
$2,200.00! After I came back, while fulla dem edibles, I sent Max
Vangeli an Instagram DM that we're "tha '80s babies in our 30's." Not
only did he luv tha term but he supported tha vibe of bein' "high as
fuck"; I applied tha vibe to how I felt about bein' an "80's" baby "in" my "30's". This intro line iz just showin' luv to all tha years of tha 1980's.
Despite bein' recorded & released shortly after some "'80s babies"
exited their "30's," I feel that those "'80s babies" now in their 40's
can look back at tha good tymes of bein' an '80s baby "in" their "30's," courtesy of Franklin, LA's Killa McClain's & my energy!
"Whetha you '80 or '81, '2, '3, '4. '85, '6, '7, '8, '9; oh, it's a go (aye!)! We tha '80s babies in our 30's, ya heard me (aye!)? Tha '80s babies in our 30's, ya heard me (aye!)? '80, '81, '2, '3, '84. '5, '6, '7, '8, '9; oh, it's a go (aye!)! We tha '80s babies in our 30's, ya heard me (aye!)? Tha '80s babies in our 30's, ya heard me (aye!)?" - Just my way of comin' through on Baton Rouge's Lit G's beat of expressin' my luv fa tha "'80s babies in" their "30's"!
"Tha big tees, Girbauds all hangin' out wit da crease." -
Growin' up in tha 2000's, you had "tha big tees," tha "Girbauds" &
"all" that; I wanted ta show luv to tha culture I grew up with.
"An '80s baby--tha shit I got; me? You'd wanna meet (wanna meet)." -
Throughout my 32 years of livin', I've had some pretty dope experiences
in life. Even tho my autistic wayz gets overshadowed by tha so-called
'norm', if you do get ta know me, I'm that cool, undaground celeb "you'd
wanna meet."
"Huh; and, that'll be all comin' out my 40's & 50's, 60's, 70/80's, ya heard me?" -
Even tho we try our best ta hold on to our youth fa so long, I just
hope I can always show signs of bein' a yungin. No matter tha age, I
always wanna be cool with my autistic stoner style.
"Get crunk up in this ma'fucka! What?! Say, hit yo dance up in this ma'fucka! Huh?!" - Lots of music that I grew up to durin' high school & college was "crunk" & had a lotta dances to "hit." I was just applyin' tha energy they brought to tha table for me to utilize today.
"I got my Down Bad (Down Bad), my Handy (Nu$$ie!); BluBlack wit da crack, you know, tha shit feel like a Grammy (shit feel like a Grammy)!" -
An "'80s baby" like me loves Baton Rouge underdogz like "Down Bad,"
[Lil'] "Handy," "Nu$$ie" & "BluBlack," just to name a few. To me,
it's "like" my own Grammys.
"In my opinion, dem boyz-a stay-a winnin' (stay-a winnin'). Tha iPod be spinnin'; "So Whopped"? It's been a minute (so whopped wit it)!" - "'80s babies" like tha Baton Rougers I grew up with always win,
when I'm around. They enjoyed buku play on my "iPod," throughout
college & Down Bad/Young Gregory's 2008 single, "So Whopped", was
one of tha biggest undaground tracks I ever heard from Baton Rouge.
"Say, Killa '82; Lit G two from '86 ('86). And, I be '88, out da gate; dat crazy shit (dat crazy shit)!" -
Real "'80s babies" like tha ones on tha track, here, express their
ages, birthdayz & birthyearz. That's how I was able to express these
two barz, right chea (that rhymed).
"'80s babies, stand up (aye!); this our anthem (this our anthem)! Be proud of who you are & put yo muthafuckin' handz up (put yo muthafuckin' handz up (put yo handz up))!" - Anotha two barz of me expressin' how much I luv bein' an "'80s" baby (you should, too, if you're born between January 1, 1980 & December 31, 1989)!
"'80, '81, '2, '3, '4... '5, '6, '7, '8, '9; oh, it's a go... (aye!)!" - Need I say more? Just let tha years of tha decade echo on!
