Review #1,313: Lil' Mista "Cain Muzik 2.0: Networking Reloaded"

Reviewed on 8.29.2013 (Review #1,313)

Up next, Lil’ Mista Cain Muzik 2.0: Networking Reloaded; here’s my review. Start Time: 6:07 PM | End Time: 6:38 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

© 2013 CD Review (Review #1,313) reviewed on 8.29.2013 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Intro
>>> What made you quote-unquote, “blow up?” My Rating: N/A

02. “Up It”
>>> Wow, turn-off wit tha “Cain Muzik” tag, or whateva; why do people wanna copy Rick Ross’ “Maybach Music” garbage? Production sounds a lil’ familiar, here, but listenin’ ta this, and that repetitive hook’s catchy. Your rhymes sound consistent; then again, nothin’ new, here… My Rating: 4.3

03. “Moving Round” Feat. Lil’ Boosie
>>> Lil’ Ken always supplyin’ your production… Boosie sounds a lil’ quiet, here… Sounds good, but way too laidback on tha vocals, Boosie! As far as you on this, it sounds like your regularness… Where’d this “Deezy Cain” dude come outta, also? Sounds like everyone brings random people into their roster, just to be ‘cool’ ‘cause you gotta have, at least, 50 people in your ‘click.’ Thank God, there’s only one in my click: me! My Rating: 4.2

04. “Wne Way”
>>> Sounds like a random internet rapper, a lil’ bit, here… Of course, tha beat saves you, once again. “Polo everythang,” huh? Thought Bubba acknowledged that before you; gotta give him credit, ya know? Like, “Polo everythang, like Bubba!” My Rating: 3.9

05. “Where The Love At”
>>> Hook sounds boring wit tha title repeatin’. Really, it’s, like, nothin’ new wit you, here… My Rating: 3.6

06. “Real Nigga”
>>> A song fa tha “pussy,” here, always “beat” ta death… My Rating: 3.5

07. “No Feelings”
My Current Rating: 4.1

08. “Calm Down” Feat. Jamillah Shabazz
>>> Just dat regular, Lil’ Mista/Mista Cain-type music, here… I thought tha featured artist was a female, but it sounds like Young Ready? Very similar-soundin’ flow? I don’t get it, I’m confused ‘cause tha 3rd verse sounds like someone else, too, but tha song’s good, still… My Rating: 4.0

09. “Dope Mane” Feat. Lil’ Cali
>>> Nothin’ really new, once again, wit you… Let’s see if Lil’ Cali adds some excitement… BTW, happy early b-day ta Cali, since it’s tomorrow! At least his voice adds some butter ta this dry-tastin’ bagel… Keep supplyin’ tha “dope,” Cali! My Rating: 4.2

10. “My Bitch”
>>> Wit Lil’ Ken all ova these beats, I wonder how much he makes fa producin’ so much? He must get at least four figgaz fa each CD, right? Combined? Anyway, nothin’ new wit this kinda content… My Rating: 3.7

½time: Everything I always expect from you; 3.9 fa tha CD rating, currently.

11. “I’m Grown”
>>> What age does everyone in Louisiana consider ta be “grown”? I’m 25, and I still don’t even seem close ta bein’ “grown,” in some wayz. Like, as far as what I do, definitely. As far as in social circles, I’m still in school, it seems like… This joint just sounds aight fa me; nothin’ special wit this laidback vibe and rhymes. My Rating: 3.4

12. “Respect My Mind” Feat. Yung Pymp
>>> A shout out ta “Lil’ Ken” in tha beginning. Ehh, nothin’ special, once again; just you tellin’ tha world that you “have” everything!! As far as Yung Pymp, sounds a lil’ excitin’ ta hear a feature outta nowhere… My Rating: 3.6

13. “I Gave Her” Feat. Gus, Level & Wne
>>> Sounds like Dhat Fam’s obsessed wit fuckin’ or somethin’; not sure how all this eva came about, but tha hook’s pretty nice, how it’s put together. Tha 1st verse must be Gus (not even Level, and he’s 1st in tha ID?); perfect word: “whateva!” Now, we got Level on tha 2nd verse, here… I assume Level lost his virginity before Flava Flav (before Kindergarten)? Braggin’ at its finest… Here you are on tha 3rd verse, and I bet you don’t fail, too, right? Y…u…p… Endin’ it wit some Wne… Still, I gon fix tha ID up. Either way, no matter my complainin’, I enjoyed this. My Rating: 4.4

14. “This & That”
>>> I actually finally saw a Polo Ralph Lauren store tha other day. Took this long, huh? Then again, none of y’all help me “find this & that,” so it’s whateva. Not really inta hearin’ how ya buyin’ “this & that,” since tha coolest thing ta do iz ta spend $0.00 on tha Lucky Dog! Don’t worry, all this iz addin’ up fa my future, as we speak! My Rating: 3.7

15. “Hurricane” Feat. Savage
>>> Finally, some more different features! Nice lil’ hook from Savage, smooth, southern & real as it gets!! Hearin’ you on tha verse, and it sounds like what people have ta be in order ta be ‘cool’ (e.g., tha gun reference & “listenin’ ta Bad Azz”). No wonder why it’s takin’ me so long ta get ta Louisiana! Givin’ this a better rating than usual jointz on here ‘cause of tha Savage appearance! My Rating: 4.4

16. “I Fucked Up”
>>> Kinda sounds boring fa me… And yea, you did fuck “up,” when it came ta takin’ me serious, Mista! Correct! My Rating: 3.3

17. “Politicing”
>>> Sounds like a Ross song fa me, even wit Ken on tha beat… Once again, nothin’ special. My Rating: 2.9

18. “28 Grams”
>>> Thought this would be an interestin’ drug song, but it’s boring fa me. You need ta have catchier deliveries; this iz on some dry Gates-type shit… My Rating: 3.2

19. “Going Down (G-Mix)” Feat. Level & Young Ready
>>> It’s whateva wit your part, here; at least you added a “ow-na” in your flow, this time… Got Level on tha 2nd verse, and he’s anti-social as eva, here; what else can you expect? Bet Ready’s hidin’ in tha bushes once his verse comes on! Oh wait, fa tha hoes, this time? Such randomness from Ready! Don’t need ta hear about his “big long dick” on a song like this; next!! My Rating: 3.7

20. “Boss Man” Feat. Cain Muzik Mafia
>>> Startin’ off wit this Deezy Cain dude on tha 1st verse… It’s okay, but I’m gonna have no idea who else iz on this from here… To me, this sounds like a random song fa a family (e.g., all tha Cain Muzik Mafia dudes). Friends? Can’t be! You guys gotta be brothers or somethin’ ‘cause friends are impossible!! My Rating: 3.6

21. “Baby Cain”
>>> Ewe, I ain’t feelin’ this hook; sounds cheesy wit how you comin’ through wit tha title! Nice lyrics about your son, but son? Really? A lil’ too ahead of your time, right now! Are you a dad or rapper? Why does everyone pick both? It’s impossible ta master both, at tha same time! My Rating: 2.4

Overall: Anotha CD in tha Mista Cain catalog, I have ta say… I’ve liked better CDs.

Review #1,312: Lil' Mista "Cain Muzik"

Reviewed on 8.29.2013 (Review #1,312)

‘Bout ta do some Lil’ Mista reviewz up next. Yea, they’re nice and late as fuck ‘cause dudes like Mista Cain don’t keep up wit me, anymore, so I don’t get their music on time. I have to look only when I have time, and only when I care! So, wit that bein’ said—since I’m a ‘nobody’ to these people—here’s my review for Cain Muzik. Start Time: 5:08 PM | End Time: 5:43 PM

01. Lil’ Dude Skit
>>> Why a “mixtape”? When will people go back to albums?! Matta fact, this iz an album ta me! There’s no continuous blending; there’s no hosting; and, whateva, I can go on… My Rating: N/A

02. “Cain Muzik (Intro)”
>>> Sounds like you do a lotta blabberin’. Just ‘cause there’s a hot beat behind this, that’s why you get tha props from me. I still think you way too young ta have a kid—I’m older than you! “If I don’t see a meal ticket at 25;” well, I’m “25,” and I’m sadly still screamin’, pointlessly, “B-Real!! DJ B-Real!!,” with no job, and my Master’s Degree currently’s gone nowhere… My Rating: 4.3

03. “Bottom Of Da Map” Feat. Magnolia Chop
>>> Sounds good wit tha beat, and this aight. You know I hate hearin’ shit like, “I got buku money.” Why mention dat? Sounds like it’s someone else dat said dat; they must be unsourced? If it’s Mag. Chop, it sounds completely different wit tha rappin’… My Rating: 4.1

04. “Top Notch”
>>> Well, now, I hear tha blending in this supposed-to-be ‘album,’ but whateva… Sounds like a good joint, but it’s mainly blah, blah, blah… My grandma (rappin’ granny) just came in, and I was just tellin’ her, where’d your buzz come outta? I remember when I was here, at her house, three years ago, when you gave me your #. Where’d things fall apart and/or be quiet? Quiet iz not tha answer ta success!!! My Rating: 4.2

05. “It B Goin’ Down”
>>> Just like all your other music, it’s okay; tha beat’s just help you out. This sounds more like a Level flow, ta me… My Rating: 4.3

06. “Fuck Around”
>>> Everyone luvs unprotected sex!! Was talkin’ to this girl about dat tha other day. It’s like, what’s wit all these young, Louisiana dads? She was like, “They prolly should wear a condom;” ding, dong, ding!! Anyway, beat sounds on some laidback, Lil’ Ken-type shit, and for an at-tha-time, 22-year-old, sounds like content ahead of your time? My Rating: 4.2

07. “Baby Mamma Drama” Feat. Lil’ Mike
>>> Bore……………………………, bor………………………………ing……………………… topic!! I hate hearin’ shit like this!! Thank God, I haven’t gotten ta this point, yet, wit relationships! I don’t expect ta have a “baby mamma;” that’s why, I’m waiting, and being stereotyped as a “fag” as much as possible ‘cause I’m right wit my decisions! My Rating: 3.2

08. Skit
>>> Okay. My Rating: N/A

09. “My Lil’ Nigga”
>>> How do people have friends? One thing I’ll neva undastand! Again, tha topic’s not somethin’ I enjoy listenin’ to, but tha song sounds good. My Rating: 4.0

½time: A 4.1-rated CD, currently.

10. “Slow Motion” Feat. Mouse
My Current Rating: 4.4

11. “Last Week Shit”
>>> I have ta admit, a lotta y’all “still on dat last [decade] shit.” Who knows when I’ll hear from some peeps again! Plus, artists I know, still want their music from, like, ’06; really? We’re here ta grow! I dunno about all this “dopeman” “shit” ta hear… Rhymes sound catchy, but they’re just rhymes, here, ova a tight beat. My Rating: 3.9

12. “PSO” Feat. Lil’ Ken
>>> Sounds good, but I dunno why all tha rhymes have ta be on some supastar status… Oh, you and your “baby mama” shit… If Lil’ Ken’s in here somewhere, tha both of y’all nearly sound tha same… Overall, this iz on some Young Ready-type shit. My Rating: 4.2

13. “Slow Ya Role”
>>> EQ on tha beat; soul-soundin’ shit fa Mista? Rhymes sound like your other songs, here… My Rating: 3.7

14. “Bullshit”
>>> Sounds like a familiar song, but someone else could’ve had it… Props ta DJ Chill randomly comin’ in durin’ tha intros ta tha songs, like he’s hostin’ tha CD or somethin’. Tha title kinda tells tha truth, when not makin’ me important. Then again, there are worse people than you dat “be wit dat bullshit.” My Rating: 4.0

15. “Flash” Feat. Young Ready & Yung Pymp
>>> Hearin’ this, and once again, good beat wit you rappin’ on it; what else can I say? Now, here comes Ready wit his “40.” Wow, he cared about “Lil’ Phat,” even before he died! Ain’t that rare, since everyone hates each other ‘til they die? Then, they get dickrided on like a ma’fucka! Here’s Yung Pymp on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit good rhymes. Good verse/collab, but where did he come outta? Don’t think I heard of him before. My Rating: 4.3

16. “Expose 1” Feat. Lil’ Wne & Gus
Not lookin’ forward, due to one of tha features dislikes my work. That doesn’t mean I won’t like it, though. >>> You say, “Remix?” Of course, Lil’ Ken holdin’ most of tha beatz down… I don’t really see anything different about this, compared ta tha other songs. If that’s Wne on tha 2nd verse, it sounds catchy, but where’d all this experience come from fa a 16/17-year-old? I remember when I was 16, a dude asked me, “You eva get laid before?” Still, years way before its time; couldn’t picture what that even looked like, at tha time. Glad Asperger’s people like me grow on their own pace, not givin’ a fuck! Okay, if that’s Gus wit tha “gave her dat dick,” then I don’t need ta hear anymore of this! My Rating: 4.3

17. “Lil’ Freaky Bitch”
>>> Whatever… Once again, same, same, same… My Rating: 4.1

18. “Hands Off Me” Feat. Level & Lee Banks
>>> Catchy beginning verse and hook from Level, here, on this beat… You still “wit Level,” fa 2011/2012, here? Whateva happened ta me? I’m tha most-uncoolest dude, right? Either way, good collaboration, includin’ how Lee Banks came outta nowhere toward tha final verse… My Rating: 4.3

19. “Touching” Feat. Dat Boy A
>>> Funny how Dat Boy A always talked ta me back when I didn’t even have a car!! Talk about me bein’ a virgin, and havin’ a lack of talent! Wow, descriptive-ass song wit this girl “all in [A]’s boxers!” I have ta give it up fa tha descriptiveness ‘cause it’s not like it’s one-dimensional, like, “She suckin’ dick.” One thing I have ta admit about your songs iz that they’re short and sweet; none of this four-minute, boringness! My Rating: 4.2

Overall: A regular, Cain Muzik / Utopia Music Group review done by FrankieThaLuckyDog…

01. FrankieThaLuckyDog “Lonely Intro”
Yea, things are “lonely,” especially when, like, no one wanted any spots on my CD, smh! My Rating: N/A

02. Foxx “Shut Up”
My Current Rating: 5.0

03. Lil’ Cali Feat. Carter Boy & Lil’ Mal “Killin’ ‘Em”
My Current Rating: 4.5

04. Lil’ Buck “Get Dat Money”
My Current Rating: 3.7

05. Ratchet D Drop
Now, he’s outta jail! That’s my boy, right there, affiliated wit Lava House Records! I believe he heard about me through Crowley Redd, while they both were locked up… My Rating: N/A

06. Ratchet D “Freestyle”
Forgot how it went… >>> Lots of tight shit he offerin’, “loaded to tha max!” Glad he mentioned my name, threw it in a rhyme! Lots of rhymes, lol? Off tha dome, baby, lol!! Whoo @ me pumpin’ my heart; came outta nowhere, lol! My Current Rating: 4.7

07. 3D Na’Tee “No Love”
“Love” her so much, as well as this song!!! My Current Rating: 4.9

½time: For not many songs, this iz a tight mixtape! Not sure why I threw Lil’ Buck’s song on here, especially since it’s about “money;” I guess it was tha “money” I received from his manager that made me do it, especially since there wasn’t much room on here to begin with. But, I’m makin’ sure I have a good ear for this shit, now! So far, we’re at a 4.6 for tha CD rating!

08. Lil’ Mista Feat. WNE “Mouth Off”
My Current Rating: 4.4

09. Cole Dean, G.Lynn, Greesy & K-Chill “My Bestie”
My Current Rating: 4.6

10. Lil’ Trill & Shell Feat. Mouse “Bob Barker”
My Current Rating: 4.4

11. Lil’ Cali “Itching”
ROFL!!! Love it!!! Too bad we moved our Florida house, but I’m glad this song was there with me! My Current Rating: 4.7

12. Lil’ Wan “Molly Syrus”
Forgot how this went, too… >>> Nice beat from EQ; funny lil’ anthem from Lil’ Wan, a random new artist. My Current Rating: 4.3

13. FrankieThaLuckyDog “2013 Tha Right Way Outro”
Yea, all you wack-ass thinkers: Get rid of tha geeky glasses, rappin’ about money, swag, haters, hoes, and usin’ a-tune! Be yourself!! My Rating: N/A

14. BR High “L.H.P.”
Nice way to end tha year off… My Current Rating: 4.4

Overall: Hope I get some serious dudes who wanna be on my next mixtape, so I have more songs… Then again, it’s quality over quantity, but I still want that $20 from y’all!

Review #1,223: Lil' Mista "Cain Muzik 1.5"

Reviewed on 11.04.2012 (Review #1,223)

Next review iz Cain Muzik & Utopia Music Group’s Lil’ Mista Cain Muzik 1.5. One thing I don’t like iz that it’s November 2012, and this CD’s modification date iz December 2011; why didn’t anybody send me this? This iz why certain music doesn’t get out there ‘cause of lack of perseverance. Also, was there a 1.0? Start Time: 8:08 PM | End Time: 8:38 PM

01. Intro
>>> Okay. My Rating: N/A

02. “Mouth Off” Feat. WNE
>>> WTF was that first few seconds? Oh, I thought it was a gay beat tag or somethin’. Tha hook sounds good; I like tha “mouth off” shit. Guess tha feature’s on tha hook? Either way, good lil’ song, here. My Rating: 4.4

03. “Gangsta Shit” Feat. Ray Vicks
>>> Sounds good, too; likin’ how tha title applies to tha lyrics and all dat. Nice job wit tha collaboration, here, and tha G-“shit” sounds great to hear! My Rating: 4.3

04. “Not What U Want”
>>> Not much catchiness comin’ outta this song, but tha lyrics are great for tha hood. Somethin’ about tha hook can grow, too… Really enjoyin’ tha 225 vibe, here! My Rating: 4.2

05. “Stress”
>>> Finally, a short song, 119 seconds long? Too bad tha person fucked tha filename up and put it as “Strees”, smh. Rhymes sound good; nothin’ else ta say… My Rating: 4.0

06. “Going Down”
>>> Flow sounds a lil’ like Lil’ Cali, here, on tha hook… This sounds like a good song and now, you sound like Young Ready on tha flow… Some of these lyrics are kinda cocky, like there’s neva anything wrong; I dunno about that… My Rating: 4.1

07. “Slow Motion” Feat. Mouse
>>> Of course, this sounds good; nice collaboration on tha hook and I like this “slow motion” theme. Good parts from you, and Mouse’s comin’ through wit some catchy shit ta offer wit tha lyrics, too! My Rating: 4.4

08. “Don’t Know”
>>> Reminds me of a Mouse song, in a way; I guess it’s how you say, “know.” Rhymes are okay, here; I think I mainly like tha hook, for tha most part, on this one… My Rating: 4.0

09. “How I Roll” Feat. Lil’ Phat
>>> Lil’ Phat in tha beginning? Why ain’t he listed on tha feature? Disrespectful! Bet his dick’s rode now! Nice job wit tha hook from him; sounded catchy. Wow, very short length; interestin’ to have a short length! Too bad there was no passion in promotin’ this CD ‘cause I neva got it when I had my radio show. It’s like, this would’ve fit nicely, but no, tha Mista camp’s sleepin’ or somethin’? Anyway, nice job wit your quick two cents, here! My Rating: 4.5

10. “Bionic”
>>> Anotha really short one; you know how ta come wit it! Sounds a lil’ like that “Forever Loaded” Louisiana song from back in tha day, on tha hook, when you say, “I’m warning you.” Anyway, this iz catchy; nice “iron” anthem. My Rating: 4.3

½time: All songs are at least a 4.0, so far; glad you’re keepin’ it consistent! Currently, this CD’s at a 4.2 for tha CD rating!!

11. “No Feelings”
>>> Sounds like a regular Baton Rouge song, wit a Young Ready-like twist. What? Sex iz easy for you; how? For tha song itself, it sounds good; nothin’ else I can really say… My Rating: 4.1

12. “Cut The Lights On” Feat. Ville Boyz
>>> Good attitude wit not givin’ “a fuck!” Nice job wit tha hook! Huh? Who iz this on tha 1st verse? Did they say, “2-3”? Lucky for me, I’m reviewin’ someone else wit a “Two 3” artist as a feature, so I’ll consider it them! Either way, smfh for tha person for not listin’ him on tha feature! What? Anotha not-listed feature? Heard, “Ville Boyz & Cain,” so I’m just gonna consider this feature as da Ville Boyz. Not really too much catch wit tha 2nd verse’s lyrics, but it still sounds like a jam. You’re on tha 3rd verse, and it’s soundin’ good, even though tha adlibs are so Young Ready; let his dick rest for a lil—a little! My Rating: 4.2

13. “Salute” Feat. Deezy Cain
>>> Sounds like a Young Ready-like hook, and I’m likin’ tha whole “salute” shit. Good job on tha hook, and some of tha shit’s not too bad, here. Don’t know too much about this Deezy Cain dude on tha feature, but he sounds pretty good on tha 2nd verse. I have ta say, good G-shit… My Rating: 4.3

14. “Your Honor”
>>> Very gutta attitude on this hook wit tha “middle finger;” really likin’ this, especially how you say tha title and use it on tha hook! Good G-shit you spittin’ on tha 1st verse, jail-like style. My Rating: 4.5

15. “Bullshit” Feat. Lil’ Ernest
>>> Sounds like a contradictory title and hook for what you bring? Sounds like a hot song, except some of tha “swag” and “money”-type lyrics you were spittin’… Then again, I liked tha line about someone needin’ to “wake [you] up.” Sounds good, and Lil’ Ernest doesn’t do too bad of a job wit tha feature… Oh, anotha verse from you; why does everything sound so easy, especially all this sex “shit”? Nice and jammy… My Rating: 4.4

16. “Dumb Dick (G-Mix)”
>>> Why does somethin’ like this get a remix? It’s not like it was known or anything… An unsourced girl on tha hook; who iz it? Anyway, this ain’t too bad, but why iz this here in tha mist of a bunch of newer songs? Sounds like anotha feature toward tha end… My Rating: 3.8

17. “Popular”
>>> Too Lil’ Wayne-y in tha beginning… Ugh, not really into tha hook that much; good thing this iz short! Rhymes ain’t too bad, overall… My Rating: 3.5

18. “Big Rims”
>>> Sounds too much like another song, on tha hook…; Lil’ Handy? Oh, “Crack The Ground”, I think, based off your “crack tha curb” shit. Once again, glad it’s short and sweet, but too familiar for me to like-like… My Rating: 3.7

19. “White Man”
>>> Sounds like somethin’ serious wit tha hyped-up ness. Ehh, hook’s a lil’ shitty wit a title like this; no need to act “white!” People still “hit” licks? Sounds so uncalled for, 2012 style; there’s so many other things to do, and thank God I got a trillion things to do to occupy my time! All of tha lyrics sound cocky, here, and I’m gettin’ tired of these Young Ready-like adlibs; great to listen to, but nothin’ to take too serious… My Rating: 4.1

20. “First Class”
>>> Catchy hook, kinda; you have a good delivery. An okay song for a short song; I’ll give it props, since it reminds me of a flight (based off tha intro)… My Rating: 4.2

Overall: Currently, tha best CD that I reviewed today; nice and consistent, even though it would’ve been right if I got it when it came out! I got them Easy Hustle Entertainment ones when they came out; why couldn’t I have the—oh yea, Don Dre’s nowhere to be found… But, keep up tha good work.
