I forgot I had this just chillin’ on my desktop… Thanx ta Gunz Up Ent.’s Big Lucci Seringetti, here goes my review fa his Ver*sa*tile release, from 2019, courtesy of Gunz Up Entertainment! Start Time: 5:31 PM | End Time: 6:16 PM

 

 

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. >>> Likin’ tha organ in tha beat, here; sounds pretty good, so far… Hearin’ tha hook & it cool; I’m glad you shine wit yo “Big Dog Status”! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it sounds good wit how you comin’ through, courtesy of this organized beat (get it, lol?)! You don’t have features listed, tho; you’ll have ta send me ‘em, when you can. This way, I can update tha review. Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it str8; almost thought it was you but I can’t think of who it can be… My Rating: 4.0

 

 

02. “Do Wut I Do” feat. Pine Obama & TK WNE
Tha song wit GUE? *Re-hears…* Yeah; here’s what I previously had ta say:

 

Sounds like a cool lil’ beat, here; feelin’ tha undaground, as always! I know I mighta got a sample of this from one of y’all GUE peeps, via y’all Insta? Sounds like it… Wit dat bein’ said, great job wit tha hook, Lucci; gotta “do what [y’all] do”! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse from Lucci & it sounds nice; keep bringin’ dis undaground shit, no matter what year it iz! Just like me: I refuse ta sell out & will always be an undadog! Yup, “lit like a fireplace”! Got Pine on tha 2^nd verse & he really in tha mood fa tha track, here; definitely dig it! Keep tha energy goin’, of course! Luv how he ends tha verse wit, “Tha dumb way”!! 100!! Got anotha dose of TK wit tha 3^rd verse, here, as he comes through wit his good rhymes/vibes. Thumbs up fa how he comes through wit tha flow; always somethin’ catchy… My Current Rating: 4.2

>>> Good lil’ beat intro, here; that “AJ On Da Track” beat tag gives me good vibes, as it was on tha 1^st beat I heard from him, back on June 22, 2017 (Benjamin Racks “N Due Time”)! Diggin’ how you make a simple hook sounds like a good track; that’s all you need! “Look at me, look at me; look at me […] I’m on like a light switch”; all you need! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it cool; just anotha day in da life of a GUE hustla! Go figure, it sounds like Racks on tha 2^nd verse. I think I remember us havin’ a conversation about Racks, at one point… As far as what he bringin’ to da table, definitely nice wit tha energy & his character, of course! Whoo! Even brought Kell 1000 fa tha 2^nd ½ of tha 2^nd verse; “look at” him go! Nice job wit tha collab, here; you know what it iz! My Rating: 4.4

 

 

04. “Alrite, Fuckin’ Rite”
>>> Strictly Boot-reppin’, here, when it comes to tha title/hook; gotta luv it! Hearin’ what you got on tha 1^st verse & I don’t have ta tell you how ta come wit it ‘cause you know what tha 🔥 iz! Good shit goin’ on wit tha 2^nd verse, too; props on keepin’ tha energy goin’, ya feel me? Almost thought it was TK on tha 3^rd verse but it sounds like a “New Orleans” reppa, courtesy of them emergin’ inta tha 3^rd verse. Needless ta say, definitely glad they focused & continuously bringin’ dat 5-0-4-to-tha-2-2-5 🔥! My Rating: 4.3

>>> Just to give you a heads-up: I’m not really inta tha jacked-beat tracks, especially durin’ these tymes… Goin’ all tha way back ta T.I.’s track, here… Like, tha rhymes are consistent & good but you coulda got an original beat, here. I ain’t tryna say, “Oh, this your older shit.” You have original productions, here, so this one coulda had one… My Rating: 3.5

 

 

06. “Dem Debbies”
>>> Tha beat intro sounds more like it!! Pure Jigga City shit, on tha intro; nothin’ but pureness!! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it sounds nice; your audio quality in your vocals ain’t on-on but I’m diggin’ this throwback, undaground-soundin’ vibe fa tha 2-2-5, here…! Hearin’ tha hook & it str8; can’t 100% tell tha transition from verse ta hook, at first, so tha catchiness wit tha transitionin’ kinda weak… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it cool, too; keep gettin’ it in…! Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse & this shit sounds nice fa any BR club, here; so glad y’all “jiggin’” in buku wayz! Long beat outro, too; can tell that has a throwback vibe to it but I digz it! My Rating: 4.3

>>> Tha hook & title sounds like tha ‘90s New Orleans LA shit, where they say, “I feel like…” (I forget tha exact words but you get it). Hearin’ tha beat & it cool, in certain wayz; I can dig it… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it cool wit what you bringin’; can’t complizain… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & you keepin’ this shit goin’; diggin’ what you bringin’, no matter what time it iz… As tha beat continues, it’s startin’ ta sound more on a mainstream/Internet-rap vibe than an undaground, BR vibe but it still str8… A 3^rd verse, too, I hear…; sounds like a good contribution, as it sounds like you’re on a come-up, here… My Rating: 3.7

>>> I’ono, this beat sounds more like a west coast/Tupac vibe. It kinda falls in between decent & great, production-wise; let’s see what tha rest gon bring… Sounds like a good 1^st verse, as you’re appreciatin’ your “success,” to tha fullest; that’s what’s up. Hearin’ tha hook & it cool; you make this vibe sound betta wit how you “Got It From Da Mud”, ya feel me? Keepin’ this shit movin’ wit tha 2^nd verse—familiar voice, tho I can’t 100% picture who it iz… As far as tha verse goes, it’s cool; no complaints, ya dig? Back ta you on tha 3^rd verse, here, comin’ through wit some nice shit, once again; you know what it iz… My Rating: 3.7

 

 

09. “Nyte Lyfe”
>>> Beat/production sounds like somethin’ from tha Internet, for tha underdogz; nothin’ too-too great… Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds good wit what you’re bringin’, here. Hearin’ what you got on tha 1^st verse & it aight; it may be a lil’ boring fa me, between tha vibe of tha song & tha rappin’; I’ono, I can’t love it… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it sounds okay. However, it sounds catchy when you show luv ta doin’ dem “Xanz” & “tabs”; good shit! A lil’ bit of a catchy flow, as well; I’ll give this a lil’ more props… Got tha 3^rd verse goin’ on, here (TK?); I give them props fa collabin’ wit you, tho. Also, these songs are startin’ ta sound a lil’ longer than they should be? Once they go past tha 4:00 mark, I would expect them ta be much catchier, at that point… My Rating: 3.6

 

 

10. “Nigga Wut”
>>> Sounds like an okay beat ta rap on, here; again, it reminds me of those Internet/DatPiff dayz, where I’d discover random rappers of ’09 – ’11 or somethin’. Hearin’ tha hook & it cool; I’ono who dis iz but they str8; props fa holdin’ tha Boot down, I guess? They even on tha 1^st verse & it str8, too; keep grindin’… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it’s you, comin’ through wit some nice street shit, as you know how ta bring it; P-R-O-P-S… Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse & it anotha dude, comin’ through wit some nice shit; I’ll give them props, too… My Rating: 3.8

 

 

11. “Flickaz, Tickle N Swap”
>>> More Internet-rap beats…; just sounds like an okay beat, tho tha longer lengths continue… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it cool; not much ta say but it cool… Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds a lil’ silly wit tha “tickle” shit but gets catchier when you say, “Swap.” I like how you apply tha “tickle” to tha gangsta shit & not just a specific body touch, lol. Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it aight; different dude but dude contributin’ nice ta tha GUE product you’re pushin’, here… Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse & again, it’s not you but it’s nice ta hear; feelin’ their undaground contributions… My Rating: 3.9

 

 

12. “Street Lyfe”
>>> Almost thought it was Chamillionaire on tha hook, here, but it literally sounds like an Internet beat/hook; I’ono how much I can fuck wit dis… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & originally thinkin’ it was an inserted, Internet rapper, they’re on tha 1^st verse & it str8. I’ono how promisin’ they can be wit future tracks, as they only sound okay. Doesn’t really sound like they can make super-catchy tracks but only tyme’ll tell, I guess? Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it’s you, comin’ through wit good rhymes; I give you more props… My Rating: 3.2

 

 

13. “U Don’t Kno Me Like Dat”
>>> Damn, this one looks like it gon be long… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse ova this okay/cool beat & it sounds like tha late Twelve A’Klok; reminds me of tha N.O., here… Likin’ how they wanna “fiya up tha dosha,” contributin’ some nice shit, here… Hearin’ tha hook & it cool; smh @ those that wanna act like they “kno” people like they think… Keepin’ this shit movin’ wit you on tha 2^nd verse, comin’ through wit some good shit, of course; not much ta say… Got anotha dude on tha 3^rd verse, here, comin’ through wit some laidback-soundin’ rappin’; not bad, tho it seems like it’s draggin’… Luv how they mention at 3:58, “Girbauds […] white tee […] tha dumb way”; definitely! On my next Louisiana trip, yes, I’m bringin’ tha “‘Bauds”! Yes, I’m bringin’ tha “white tee”! And yes, I’m gonna go “tha dumb way”!! Long beat outro, here, just to fill out time, I guess? My Rating: 3.7

 

 

14. “Man Of Ur Dreams”
>>> Tha audio quality in your vocals sound kinda lower quality (e.g., 96 kbps or less); hook str8, as I’ll give you props… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it sounds like that dude that reminded me of Twelve A’Klok…; cool wit how y’all come through on this beat, at least—oh wait, that’s you? This must be tha oldest one outta all tha tracks? Ain’t recognize your voice, instantly, but I do know that you grew up in that era around tha Twelve A’Kloks & so… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it cool; I digz it, especially wit tha type of beat you chose fa tha streetz… When I hear tha “come wit me…” shit durin’ tha beginning of tha hook, I think of Pac; I know you do, too, lol…? Not too sure who’s on tha 3^rd verse but it str8; just sounds like a great tyme in Louisiana, tha way I like it…! In an undaground way, that iz! My Rating: 4.1

 

 

Overall: Sounds like you did yo thang, here… I know you done evolved much since this release, thanx to tha We R BR release. I know you & tha Gunz Up click keepin’ it movin’, as well; S/O to that “I got my whole life ahead of me” track, too! To me, this was just a warm-up, as you brought your greatness off of a good portion of Internet-soundin’ production.

Keepin’ tha last day of tha month goin’ wit Gunz Up Ent. We R BR, a compilation album put together by tha Gunz Up Entertainment crew, courtesy of…, you guessed it, Gunz Up Entertainment! For those that don’t know who tha GUE click iz, it’s TK WNE, Honey B Heat (sometimes stylized as “HoneyBHeat”), Pine Obama (sometimes stylized as “Lil’ Pine”), Big Lucci Seringetti & Juvenile Tristen (sometimes stylized as “JuvenileTeeee”). I first caught attention to tha GUE crew when their song, “Lil’ Mama Get Loose”, was featured on DJ Tremon’s Hottest In The City 8 mixtape. From there, after starting my current (then-new) job, I was now able to listen to music durin’ tha whole shift & I up’d tha add rate on my playlists. “Lil’ Mama Get Loose” was generatin’ a buzz wit me & tha GUE crew really appreciated tha support. From there, I became connected wit a good portion of tha members & now, we have this We R BR compilation! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ what y’all got, from tha two jointz I done heard…!

Got TK on tha 1^st verse, too, comin’ through wit how he been since birth; definitely nice! Glad y’all got tha original production; always tha best plus fa BR! Got tha smooth Lucci on tha 2^nd verse, here; always feelin’ his deep-soundin’ voice/flow… Great job contributin’, Lucci! Title track & tha 2^nd track I know by y’all! Shout out ta DJ Tremon & his Hottest In The City 9 fa givin’ birth ta this one, too…! Definitely diggin’ tha upbeatness in tha beat & I have ta say, even tho I’m not crazy about them hi-pitched samples, this one works well. I’m definitely feelin’ how it’s hidden in tha background; adds a bounce ta tha track…! Tha hook really says it nice & clear: “We R BR;” no otha way! Lucci doin’ a nice job wit how he holds his “BR” streetz down; definitely nice for my undaground tastes…! Honey B Heat holds down tha 2^nd verse, here, as she keeps tha upbeat vibe goin’; nothin’ else ta say… Got TK WNE on tha 3^rd verse & I luv how he breaks down tha definition of “BR,” in his rhymes. “We go live, every second, every minute;” yup! My Current Rating: 4.6

Unlike tha other tracks on here, this one iz a GUE member featuring GUE members. That’s tha uniqueness of this track, especially since this was tha birth of Gunz Up Ent., fa me. Also, likin’ tha lil’ beat intro I neva heard before… Oh, a pre-Hottest In The City 8 version? Sounds a lil’ different, here, as far as how Pine wanna “get loose,” on tha hook. Either way, definitely dope wit tha energy & how Lucci comes through wit his style… No “shit” in Lucci’s rhymes? A radio edit, here? Fa err-body bein’ newbies tha 1^st time I heard this, I felt like err-body had somethin’ interestin’ ta offer. Of course, TK brings tha energy on tha 2^nd verse but a lil’ bit of changed lyrics? Like, no “Do it for TK, Lucci & Pine,” but for “tha vine?” Neva heard a 3^rd verse on this b4 & now, we got one wit Pine, here… Sounds pretty good fa tha quickness he brought to tha table; definitely nice wit keepin’ this shit goin’… Oh, at 3:24, it’s not a “lil’ momma”, anymore? Heard tha “lil’” get cut out, lol… Might have ta differ tha rating from tha version I heard on Hottest In The City 8, due to it’s slightly different… My Rating: 4.4

½time: Sounds great ta hear y’all do tha damn thang fa tha Rouge; great original production & team of peeps that I neva heard anythang from, on anythang I’ve reviewed in tha past. Wit dat bein’ said, a 4.4 for tha ½time rating, so far; let’s keep it movin’!!

05. Honey B Heat “I’m In Love”

>>> I’ono about a slow track; kinda uninterested, tbh… Like I said, I don’t really go for those hi-pitched samples… Tha beat ain’t too bad; kinda like a laidback track, which I ain’t thank was gon be tha vibe fa this CD? At least there’s rappin’ goin’ on wit Honey, on tha 1^st verse; I feel her way of gettin’ dat “love.” Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2^nd verse & it ain’t bad wit what she bringin’, here; nothin’ really ta say, tho… My Rating: 2.4

06. Big Lucci Seringetti “Grindin’ & Hustlin’”
>>> Ooh, we got AJ On Da Track, doin’ tha beat! I believe he tha 1^st producer I actually heard in tha Rouge, itself, on June 22, 2017 (Benjamin Racks “N Due Time”)! Beat sounds good—this a betta laidback vibe, in my opinion…! Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds nice wit how Lucci keeps his grind up! Talk about “grindin’” wit tha “four or five cars;” I want just a grill in my mouth, tho! Like, how much “grindin’” I gotta do? Hearin’ tha 1^st verse from Lucci & I’m diggin’ how he keep his swag/style goin’ wit his solo track, here! Speakin’ of “Racks,” you mentioned him in tha beginning of tha 2^nd verse, here, wit “KLC,” as well; good references. Tha rest of tha verse nice ta hear; always great ta hear Lucci spit somethin’! I got y’all backs!! Lol, seemed like it ended fast? Thought there woulda been two more bars in tha beat… My Rating: 4.1

07. Juvenile Tristen “Changed Up”
>>> Based off tha start & how this hook sounds, it sounds like this gon be tha most mainstream sound y’all gon get, wit Gunz Up? A lil’ different—should I appreciate it in a different sub-genre of rap? Like, emo trap? Might fit in that category than BR rap, here… A lil’ YoungBoyish wit tha flow, sometimes… I feel like that flow works for tha average person, tho not tha catchiest for me (more like a risk)… Yeah, wit dat bein’ said, tha 2^nd verse sounds like, like, a YoungBoy faster flow. These dayz, that faster-flow shit be throwin’ me off; not really tha catchiest fa me. Overall, fa this track, either this gon be somethin’ catchy or somethin’ ta pass… My Rating: 3.4

08. TK WNE “Gangsta”
This & “Lil’ Mama Get Loose” couldn’t convert to mp3, when I bought them off iTunes. So, I had to buy this & “Lil’ Mama Get Loose” off Amazon; talk about double support! >>> Sounds a lil’ catchy wit tha hook, here; nice lil’ beat & what TK brings to da table, here… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & yeah, definitely “validated” wit ya boy (me), ya heard me? Tha 2^nd verse sounds nice ta hear, as TK keeps tha life of tha WNE goin’, here; good shit… Also, almost sounds like Big Lucci hidden in tha hook’s background? My Rating: 4.0

09. Pine Obama “Run Yah Bandz Up”
Money tracks are one of my pet peeves. Let’s see how Pine gon handle dis, tho… >>> Sounds like a cool lil’ beat & how Pine comin’ through in tha beginning, here… Feelin’ tha hook, despite it bein’ all about tha “bandz.” Sounds like some older shit of his than newer? Either way, definitely nice; glad he got a “pill up in [his] system,” as well as tha “purp up in [his] gar!” Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & I’m feelin’ tha energy; you know what it iz! I’ll admit: I can’t even think of tha last time I did a Louisiana review, where I didn’t type out tha whole tracklist, 1^st. That’s tha way my reviewz should be, though it’s been years (prolly since, like, three years ago, with Da Real Gee Money’s G-Code)…! Now, let’s have some of that excitement back, as I prepare for tha BIG day, tha day after Spring starts!! >>> Sounds like a nice lil’ dedication track…; him, here, on tha rappin’? Prolly…? Just usin’ my imagination, I guess, for now…? Originally, I wouldn’t think it would be my kinda track but I feel somethin’ special about it? I guess it’s tha shmoked-high…? That soulful singin’ & tha crazy/consistent-ass rappin’/southern vibe…!! My Rating: 4.7

EDIT: I finally looked & found tha back cover, seein’ that it went from a not-identified artist to Mofo! Nice!

Here he go (officially or leadin’ up to?)…! >>> Not like tha previous song, as my imagination was somewhere on Cloud 9 or somethin’, lol… Either way, this dope wit tha voice, tripped-out feel & consistent rappin’ fa tha south, in its own way from tha 1^st song…! Glad he was a multi-media dude, like myself (I self-coined “Multi-Media Master,” as one of my titles, due to graduatin’ wit my Masters in Production, eight years ago)! My Rating: 4.6

As a nice way ta follow-up all his other music, I look forward ta exactly knowin’ how what his “Box” look like…! >>> Lol…! This iz so fucked up… (in such a great way); luv how he mimics tha original, wit his own “Box” story! A Baton Rouge-felt Fredo! I believe he my favorite, wit NLE Chop! However, for tha undaground, … “______” (that’s a special/better choice)! My Rating: 4.8

04. Nicole Monionno “Classy & Sassy”

What she gon brang, here…? >>> Sounds good fa a female, on tha southern tip. A lil’ bit of cheesy-soundin’ lyrics like “tic-tac-toe” & “eeny, miney, moe.” Hearin’ tha 1^st verse on this club-soundin’ vibe & I’m feelin’ tha southern shit she brangin’ to tha table. Tha 2^nd verse pretty dope wit how she keeps this shit goin’… My Rating: 4.0

05. Rocky Mountainz feat. VanDaMan “Damage”

I have a feelin’ they gon brang heat—9x heat? Even tho, this #05—ohhh, “9 – 5;” get it, lol? >>> Feelin’ what they brangin’ wit this heat, mane…! Somethin’ ‘bout how they comin’ wit it, as I knew they would…! Tha hook official wit this “Damage” shit! Feelin’ tha “Damage” they brang to tha city, ya dig? Sounds almost like emo trappin’, on tha 2^nd verse. Feels like an excellent way ta describe what this year’s great vibes gon be like…! My Rating: 4.8

Looks like it gon be an interestin’ collab, here… >>> Oh yeah, definitely feelin’ tha club vibe—pure, pure club vibe, on a cool, mainstream vs. Baton Rouge way! Great job wit tha hook & 1^st verse; I really feel Baton Rouge approachin’ soon! Tha 2^nd verse sound pretty dope; struck by tha consistent rhymes, on this club shit! I feel how Lil’ One comin’ through on tha 3^rd verse; definitely consistent, right here… I say that, in a true perspective, although on September 5, 2018, when havin’ a chance to meet, I got referenced ta Y.B. For Initials as, “I thought he [me] ain’t like me [Lil’ One]?” Weird but it’s all luv; that’s what these reviewz are for, right? Betterness?! My Rating: 4.7

Here goes some ape shit…!! >>> Definitely feelin’ tha true, Baton Rouge-soundin’ beat/vibe, here! Glad he keep tha consistency comin’ along! Met him three years ago, just as a pic in tha club. However, three years later (now), it would be cool if we linked up, on some shit. Him “rollin’ off an Addy & a Perc,” just luvin’ his streettastic life! I definitely feelz it…! My Rating: 4.8

08. YoungBoy Never Broke Again “Bad Bad”

Tha hook 50/50; he sound cool, tho a lil’ drowned in tha shitty auto-tune… Feelin’ tha energy he brangin’ to tha 1^st verse; a lil’ random wit how he spit but it str8… Tha short lil’ 2^nd verse aight; nothin’ ta really brag about, as this continues… My Rating: 3.6

Three years ago, at this time, I was gearin’ up fa my 1^st Louisiana trip, wit “2 AM” (Benjamin Racks & Kell), produced by Hustla, bein’ that heat! Now, three years later, after hittin’ rock bottom, this huge feelin’ comes right “back,” wit this one! Yeah, “shout out Tha Antidote DJs;” gotta keep reppin’ hard! Wit that bein’ said, definitely luv how this iz pure into tha Baton Rouge scene, no matter tha day or time! Glad A.u. all fulla bein’ loaded, non-stop/all day, err-day! Definitely pure, includin’ how it’s all about throwin’ “2 Back,” “2-Back,” ya dig (get what I said in that sentence, there? Tha “2 Back” (no dash) means “2” as an amount, while tha “2-Back” (with dash) means “2” as “T-O,” lol. “#Loadedness!” Could that be a future title of mine, lol? Just made it up, thanx to that “2 Back”/“2-Back”ness, lol! Wit Bezo, definitely dope wit how he come through, all “loaded” (“I’m loaded”)! Got tha commercial series out now, till tha 31^st! Tha 2^nd verse pretty dope from HBL, as well; so in tha zone, it seems like…? Definitely nice! Turk providin’ “hot” shit throughout tha rest of this, as well; thought HBL owned tha track, tho!
