Review #1,152: M.A. "H.E.R.T."
Reviewed on 4.30.2012 (Review #1,152)
Wish
I could’ve squeezed more reviewz in for this month, but it iz what it iz; goin’
to sleep a lil’ earlier to catch this girl Mica 2morrow! Gotta interview her
for one of my projects, and you know how anticipatin’ it iz for college gurlz!
:) To end off tha month of April, here’s a Jungle Records release: M.A. H.E.R.T.!
Start Time: 10:55 PM | End Time: 11:23 PM
Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!
I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long
as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and
then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a
song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6
rating, I pretty much really love it,
as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I
hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type
before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything
after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening
to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or
talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’
topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01.
“Power Struggle”
>>>
Time fa some “Power” beat, here… Beat makes this boring, but I like your
rhymes, here, showin’ luv ta your city/tha state of Louisiana. My Rating: 3.4
02.
“Bill Gates (Freestyle)” Feat. Dino
>>>
This iz a lil’ betta; I like how Dino sounds on this wit his rhymin’, internet
style… My Rating: 3.5
03.
“Wrong”
>>>
Oh, an original production from JokaBoi, here; thumbs up fa tha new music!
Hearin’ how tha beat sounds wit you blendin’ in it and it sounds like it could
fit into tha mainstream, in a way… My
Rating: 3.7
04.
“Boyz 2 Men (Block Love)”
I
dunno what ta expect wit this kinda title… >>> Okay, a nice beat you
chose, here; feelin’ tha “hard times” rhymes. You’re right about tha “no BET,”
even though if it’s Northeast PA, that’s tha
case, since I ain’t got BET. Then again, they’re, like, dead without Rap City: Tha Basement! I think this iz
catchy; tha vibe makes it sound good fa tha streets. My Rating: 3.8
05.
“A.C.T.”
Whoooooo!!! Kinda keep forgettin’
‘bout this song; think I finna add it to my personal playlist! My Current Rating: 4.2
06.
“I Eat Trackz”
Looks
RoyDezzyish on tha title… >>> Lol @ how tha hook sounds; catchy lil’
sound, here, as you’re eatin’ your
way to tha top, lol! Rhymes are not bad, either… My Rating: 3.7
07.
“Kay’len 2”
>>>
A baby girl start; good that you threw that in fa tha people out there. Nothin’
too special wit tha beat and tha hook, but your rhymes are good to hear… My Rating: 3.1
08.
“Disgusted”
Good
title; this iz one of tha words I said in one of tha final projects I did with
my group, recently, so I’m lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this, in a way…
>>> Decent sound; hook ain’t too bad, either, since you’re grindin’… Good rhymes to describe a
“disgusted” M.A., lol. My Rating: 3.6
09.
“Mrs. Do It Rite”
>>>
“X-rated”? Ooh, on tha M.A. tip; lookin’ forward ta hearin’! Lol, some of tha
lyrics are kinda funny, here; “I’m a fuckin’ monster…,” and then, it gets
dirtier, lol!! Thumbs up fa dis; definitely
gettin’ a kick outta it… My Rating: 4.0
½time: A 3.7-rated CD, currently; not too
bad, as you always keep somethin’ up. I thought this was called Hert, but it’s H.E.R.T., as an acronym.
10.
PSA 1
>>>
Thanx fa dis lil’ skit, in tha mist of this! Oh yea, tha Twitter: @ma225;
props… My Rating: N/A
11.
“Pose 4 Tha Mirror”
My Current Rating: 3.8
12.
“Up N Here” Feat. Gutta Baby & Uptown Redd
JokaBoi
doin’ anotha beat! >>> Sounds a lil’ familiar, but I’m luvin’ this
beginning beat; definitely on dat tight level!! Good shit from you, here…;
hearin’ tha 2nd verse, and tha lady’s okay, but it’s soundin’ a lil’
betta, all of a sudden… Tha 3rd verse iz pretty good, too, as far as
creatin’ a nice vibe. My Rating: 4.1
13.
“Get Off” Feat. Lil’ P.A., Pada & Blacc
>>>
Can I drink some bloody, slimy vomit? Almost passed out wit tha first few
seconds; should skip, but I think I need to talk about how hot Havana Brown iz than leave certain feedback!
I have ta say, good song fa you be on, though, no matter how uncomfortable I
feel right now! Nothin’ personal at all; I only state opinions, so no
offendingness goin’ on, here!! My
Rating: 4.4
14.
PSA 2
>>>
A longer one… I’m likin’ what you sayin’, here; keep tha skits and PSAs
comin’!! I agree wit this “lyin’” shit you talk ‘bout, here; had a
self-destructed event happen to me last night, for someone that didn’t take my
ratings seriously! :td My Rating: N/A
15.
“I’m Out Chea” Feat. Jay Regal & Tut
Anotha
JokaBoi production! >>> Oh, I rememba this from a while ago; good ta
hear this on here. My Current Rating: 4.4
16.
“What Cha Hustle 4” Feat. Kee Low Magnum
Production
from Drako Da Beat Man, here. >>> Good, no beat tag! Oh, anotha familiar
song; thumbs up! My Current Rating: 4.3
17.
“T.D.H.” Feat. Stretch
Ooh,
lookin’ forward ta hearin’ a Stretch collab, especially wit you! >>>
Iz this tha same dude from tha Savage Unit clique? It sounds more like a Jungle
Records voice that sounds good, than a Savage Unit Stretch… Thumbs up fa this
Stretch showin’ you luv; what else could he ask for, lol? You got some catchy
shit goin’ on here, too, M.A.; lol, just randomly, puttin’ your “condom on,” lol! My
Rating: 4.1
18.
“2nite I Wanna Cry”
>>>
Sorry, this ain’t my kinda shit, between tha hook and beat. However, listenin’
to your rhymes and they are of unfortunate content; nice job deliverin’ these
rhymes… My Rating: 2.6
Overall: Better than I expected;
you got pretty lucky wit tha 2nd ½! Keep up wit droppin’ tracks wit
original production!!

Review #1,151: Lil' Cali (Cali Pacino) "Against All Odds"
Reviewed on 4.30.2012 (Review #1,151)
Runnin’
outta time before April ends… Lemme get into this Lil’ Cali
Against All Odds review, Mr. Cali Pacino, lol, wit a lil’ bit of
Super Mario RPG on tha computer! You & Nu$$ie are on my desktop background
right now (includin’ me throwin’ a pic of this girl Mica from my class—ooh), as
tha pics randomly rotate every 30 minutes. I see this mixtape came out ‘round
March 16; prolly would’ve gotten to it much sooner if it wasn’t for me losing
my equipment tha day before—still unsolved. :( Start Time: 8:11 PM | End

01.
“Against All Odds”
Get
‘em, Cali!!!
>>> You sound good on this beat; comin’ through like it’s a Louisiana
Young Jeezy! Hearin’ tha 1st verse, and it sounds tight wit how you
comin’ through wit tha “soda” and all dat, strictly for tha trap! Seems like
when you rap, there’s neva any
problems wit your life, lol; you seem to always
have a positive perspective of holdin’ it down! Tha 2nd verse sounds
good, too; always a positive Cali!
My Rating: 4.2
02.
“Turn Up”
>>>
Nice beat start; let’s hear how you gon rip dis one! Ooh, you would think one
of my classmates would’ve followed me on Twitter by now, but it’s you
retweeting me, lol!! Retweeting that I’m reviewin’ this CD right now; that’s
what’s up!! :tu Feelin’ ths catchy-ass hook wit this tight-ass-soundin’ beat!! Really feelin’ tha content you bringin’
to tha table, here, too! Tha 1st verse iz pretty tight; undeniable Cali at its finest!! I
think it’s so cool to know that tha 1st time I heard of you, four
years ago, you were tha age I am right now; I didn’t realize you were so young,
but it’s cool to be your 2008 age, lol! Not bad wit tha 2nd verse,
here; some of it sounds like tha lyrics to dat gay-soundin’ “Racks” song from
last year, but at least wit you, you ain’t on no dick-suckin’-tune! Damn, 3:54
went by so fast fa only two verses? Breezin’ by here! My Rating: 4.4
03.
“Dat Dick” Feat. Swagga Fresh Freddie
Mouse’s
current ID name? >>> Rofl, I started laughin’ at tha hook before I
even looked at tha ID; funny shit wit J Buc on tha hook!! If I could get dat
“Dumb Dick” on tha radio, you know
this’ll be somethin’ I’ll put on my radio show soon! After tha controversy last
year, I branched out wit lettin’ anything on tha air, as long as I air it! I
remember gettin’ your song wit Level on tha air, last year, thinkin’, “I can
break barriers wit x-rated content!” Catchy job wit tha 1st verse,
includin’ tha title comin’ outta nowhere, here and there, or should I say,
“cumin’,” lol? Good job from Mouse on tha 2nd verse, too; y’all really tearin’ dis shit up!! This iz
what a hit song sounded like, back in tha dayz I first got influenced by music,
back in tha real-early 2000s!! You’re on tha 3rd verse, and it’s
undeniable, lol!! Rofl @ all tha nuttin’
on tha hook!!! :rofl My Rating: 4.8
04.
“Nasty” Feat. Kevin Gates
Looks
like an oldie? See a “Nasty” (Gates) title from ’09 in my iTunes library, so
let’s see if this iz similar… >>> Sounds a lil’ different, like tha
other one was better, but this iz some shit I can give a plus to, too. Lol @
tha Juvie—oh wait, that’s not a sample; it’s Gates on tha hook. Um, sounded a
lil’ like that YC “Racks” dude, at first, but I can resist gettin’ grossed out
by it! Gates iz on tha 2nd verse, and it’s catchy; a lil’ afraid he gon
pull some A-tune, though… Kevin Gates at its decent vibe, here; sounds like a
Young Money-turned Gates, here, wit tha content, lyrics, and how he sounds…
See, you at least have some X-rated shit goin’ on wit tha 3rd verse;
lol, you’re on a mission fa dat pussy, and to have your “meat” sold, lol! My Rating: 4.1
05.
“Came Up”
Nice
short titles, lol. >>> A Mod Productions beat, here; sounds like
you’re seduced on tha hook, like you’re in tha best mood, lol! I’m feelin’ it,
in a way, and you’re doin’ a nice job wit tha 1st verse; feelin’
your drug-related content ta mix wit dis! Nice job wit tha 2nd
verse, too; a neva-stop-grindin’ Cali
at its finest, lol!! Up, my desktop background just changed to my gurl Alexia
& I at Camelbeach! My Rating: 4.2
06.
“Get On Your Job” Feat. K.T.
>>>
Time fa anotha Mod Productions beat…; a lil’ scary wit tha singin’ beginning,
so lemme see how I can handle this… Tha beat ain’t too bad fa you ta rap on,
here; I like your not-bein’-able-ta-deal-wit-this-situation-type rap, here, on
tha 1st verse… Lol @ tha lyrics on tha hook; not bad wit this
singin’, here, as it doesn’t sound too scary after all… Lol @ “them hoes
callin’ you a shit;” “a shit,” lol? I think that’s funny that there’s an “a” to
describe “shit,” lol! Interestin’ dialogue goin’ on wit tha 2nd
verse, here… My Rating: 4.1
07.
“Me & My Thugs” Feat. J Buc
>>>
Ooh, J Buc beat tag; not lookin’ at tha ID, yet, so let’s see if this iz “Stuck
Up”, lol? Random guess, but it’s not; ooh, a new song! Smh, no J Buc sourced on
tha ID? He’s doin’ a nice job on tha
hook wit this “thug”-type topic!! Here you are on tha 1st verse, and
whoa, you’re “a bear on tha block, and [they’re] a lil’ cub?” Maybe that line
was a lil’ before its time, Cali, ‘cause last Monday night, there was a bear
and cubs at where I’m gonna be goin’ for my internship next week (tha local
news station); pretty scary, lol!! You’re doin’ a nice job wit tha 2nd
verse, and speakin’ of dat “ice cream man,” I think tha weather’s finally on a
hot, consistent path, here, since it almost peaked at 70 today!! Last night, it
was 30, and tha day sucked, lol; removing suckiness = a hot day, literally!
Lol, these two-verse songs are like teases to me!! Nice way ta follow up dat
“Stuck Up” collab!! My Rating: 4.7
08.
“Killin’ ‘Em” Feat. Carter Boy & Lil’ Mal
Got
Carter Boy ta freestyle fa one of my radio shows not too long ago; lookin’
forward ta hearin’ dis!! >>> Anotha Mod beat, and this iz pretty nice;
I luv your character on tha hook, Cali, lol! That “Ugh!” really stands out pretty nice as some catchy-ass shit!! I’m likin’
your “shopping” shit on tha 1st verse, even switchin’ to tha
“streets” and tha “trap,” lol; you’re takin’ tha words outta my mouth befo’ I
even get ta type ‘em, lol! Hearin’ Carter Boy start tha 2nd verse,
and tha rhymes are good, even though tha “Turn My Swag On” flow’s kinda scarin’
me, especially in 2012? Tight rhymes on this beat, though; go, Carter!! Okay,
let’s hear this Mal dude on tha 3rd verse… Sounds like he downin’
people, lol; at least he above ‘em, and hopefully, I’m on a good-enough level
fa him ta appreciate what I do! Even though Mal reppin’ “Baton
Rouge,” Cali,
you make this Ponchatoulalicious, lol! My
Rating: 4.4
09.
“New World” Feat. Carter Boy
Anotha
collab! >>> Sounds like it would be a Mod beat, but I don’t think it
iz ‘cause of no beat tag… Hearin’ Carter on tha hook and it sounds like a
mainstream-soundin’ song; I can handle this, though. Now, time fa tha rhymes,
wit Cali on tha
1st verse… Nice rhymes ta hold this down; Cali, you gon be prolly on my Top 100
Most-Played Songs While @ MU countdown, comin’ soon! As soon as I get a grip of
what my Summer schedules are at my college (final two semesters), we’ll see
when I can start calculatin’ all tha spins (neva even looked at what could even
make it, but I know I played you frequently). Tha 2nd verse’s
soundin’ good, too; what else could I say? My
Rating: 4.0
½time: CD’s soundin’ pretty
consistent, so far; 4.3 for tha CD rating, currently!!!
10.
“Our Bitch” Feat. Lil’ Mista & Coppertop
Looks
like an interestin’ conversation, especially wit a title like dis!!
>>> Rofl, you’re so
hilarious wit tha X-rated lyrics on tha hook!!! :rofl Fuckin’ luvin’ it!!! Even
comin’ through nicely on tha 1st
verse, too; your character iz outta this world, Cali! Havin’ character easily makes you a
real dude; rofl, this 1st verse’s too crazy!! Lol @ tha eatin’ “dat meat” line! Here’s tha 2nd
verse, and it’s Mista (Cain), comin’ through wit catchy rhymes… Ugh, sounded a
lil’ A-tune-y at 2:23, when Mista goes, “down,” on tha adlib, lol… Lemme hear
what this Coppertop dude has ta offer on tha 3rd verse… Sounds like
some recent Thug Brothers-type lyrics, and I’m likin’ what’s goin’ on, here. My Rating: 4.3
11.
“Shawty”
>>>
Thought I’d feel uncomfortable to announce tha producer but luckily, it’s just
Mod. For this song, it’s not too bad; nice and above-average for me, includin’
your okay rhymes on tha 1st verse… Lol, some nice, sexual-type shit
fa tha 2nd verse! Can only invision
what all this iz like, lol; must be a mission ta neva give up when you in dat
woman, right, Cali?
My Rating: 3.8
12.
“She Ain’t Gotta Know” Feat. Tasha Catour
Let’s
hear what this collab gon be like; seems like you were havin’ dat good sex on
tha previous songs, so now, here’s a female on tha feature for ya! >>>
Kinda don’t know exactly what ta make wit tha hook, but I think her
“ooOOooOooOooOoh” iz pretty catchy! A lil’ on tha mainstream tip, here, but you
always get a plus from me, Cali;
you’re super-consistent wit what you
be doin’!! Here you are on tha 2nd verse, once again, comin’ through
wit some nice, mainstreamish rhymes fa tha streets… My Rating: 3.9
13.
“Come Through” Feat. Savage & Tank Jones
Lol,
I thought it was gonna be a Kevin Gates feature ‘cause one of his pics just
came up on my desktop background. Anyway, looks really anticipatin’!!! >>> Whoo, Savage on tha hook and
(possibly) tha beat!!! Really tight
wit how he comin’ “through” on tha
hook!!! Ooh, even on tha 1st verse, too?! Cali, you know dat I got a hold of Savage fa
an interview three months ago, to celebrate his birthday; hope you get at me
soon! Would luv ta show you some
extended luv on my radio show, ya feel me?! Savage also had tha last saved interview, via tape, before I lost
one of my interview tapes with my equipment (tape of January 23, 2012 – March
15, 2012). :( Here comes Cali
on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some shiny rhymes, lol! Good job, Cali;
you definitely came “through” wit dat
hot shit!! Now, time fa some Tank Jones, 2012 style fa a collaboration! Sounds
really good; sounds like some tight, cocky shit, but in a tight way, to where I
feel like I’m a part of tha life of tha Tank Jones party, lol! Savage neva ages when it comes to tha rappin’,
or whateva he wants ta do!! Hope we get ta do a movie someday, especially since
there are about SEVEN videos I was in that were released within these
past few weeks!!! My Rating: 4.8
14.
“Deliver Me”
>>>
Ooh, hot production goin’ on, here; nice shit you rappin’ ‘bout, too, Cali, on a non-stop
grind!! Tha hook’s pretty tight, too; Cali
bein’ delivered to tha mic, tha
stage, tha streets, tha etc., here, lol! Good job wit tha 2nd verse,
too; “unborn baby girl”? You finna be a dad now, Cali? Sounds like Tha Evolution Of Lil’ Cali!
That looks like a great title fa somethin’! Remember me when I say it! Almost
sounds like one of them UTP boyz at tha end, like Skip; good lil’ speech… My Rating: 4.3
15.
“Get It Back” Feat. Kevin Gates
Oh
no, not 2009!!! Lol, I felt like such a loser back then; no wonder why you neva
responded to me back then!! I’m on such a much-smarter level, these dayz!!! My Current Rating: 4.5
16.
“Fuckin’ Right” Feat. Milliyone & Savage
Lol
@ Foxx bein’ sourced as “Milliyone” as a stage name, here; lemme hear what we
got here… >>> Sounds a lil’ familiar wit tha sound and hook, except
tha title; really sounds nice and smooth, delivered by Savage!! Uh oh, a Twitter interaction; let’s
see what it iz… Ooh, ironic for this song? @Erotic_dancer followin’ me must be
nice fa this song, lol! Good job wit your rhymes, here, Cali; you know
you one of tha kings of that X-rated shit! Speakin’ of X-rated, sorry, but Foxx
iz a lil’ older than you, so he might be tha king! Lol, Mr.
“Put-Her-In-A-Chicken-Wang,” lol! Really
likin’ tha X-rated shit he spittin’ on tha 2nd verse; undeniable and
entertainin’, Foxx! Get @ me, too; there’s potential for a freestyle or
somethin’ for my radio show, Foxx… We got Sav on tha 3rd verse,
here, and lol, tha ages keep goin’ up, so you know we got tha boss, here, lol! Really feelin’ tha continuous,
X-rated rhymes; just like Sav says: “Shit yeah,” lol!! My Rating: 4.6
17.
“Money Right (BR Remix)” Feat. Lil’ Mista, Young Ready & Level
Oh
no, faggy 2010 now! Thought I was really consistent then, but everything I did
went sour! Now, time ta focus on myself; let’s see this official remix…
>>> No Level in tha ID, rofl? Kinda like how I kept seein’ you not
sourced on tha ID, at times, Cali,
lol! Not bad wit tha updated rhymes, here, but when it comes to listin’ tha
producer, I get distracted in another dimension to where I know dat I love when
Neon Hitch says, “But I can fuck you betta!” :) Mista’s on tha 2nd
verse, and I guess it goes wit this song? Kinda iffy wit these “stacks” rhymes,
especially when they’re obsessive… We got Ready on tha 3rd verse,
and it sounds good wit how he comes through wit his hood-soundin’ voice; rather
would hear this voice on a street song than a “money” song, though. All this
“money,” Ready? When he gon spend some on me? He deserves to; my services are so
for tha low, too! My Rating: 4.6
18.
“Bend Over” Feat. Level
This
that song I played on tha radio, to where I took my content to x-rated heights?
>>> Oh wait, this sounds a lil’ faster and iz produced by EQ? I know
tha titles are similar; might’ve heard this before (don’t exactly remember),
but you know it’s jammin’!! I like how tha beat has a faster vibe than typical
BR songs; EQ seems to melt into tha beats like chocolate, lol; they turn into
addictive songs! My Current Rating: 4.6
Overall: A nice piece of work, Cali; teamin’ up wit J
Buc & Savage fa some of those productions was A+, right there!! They easily were my top-rated songs, and I
hope you keep up tha great work!! If
we do team up for tha radio show interview, I promise, I’ll have an all-Lil’
Cali show (startin’ in a few weeks, after two weeks, I’m gonna have an
additional radio show on Sunday, where I’m playin’ tha same artist for two
hours straight; I know you have a shitload of music ta qualify for that, too)!
Really wish we could’ve done tha interview last Saturday ‘cause I wound up
havin’ complete self-destruction on tha air, as I got dissed on Twitter about
15x in a row! :( But, havin’ somethin’ iz better than not pullin’ through on a
consistent radio show like mine, ya feel me?!

Review #1,150: Delwin The Krazyman & Ceddybu Da Rap Sumo "Amerikka's Most Wanted (Hosted by GoDJ Phat & GoDJ Star)"
Reviewed on 4.28.2012 (Review #1,150)
Gotta
get some more music ready for my show, so here goes a review. It was a race
between peeps like Lil’ Cali
and others, but Delwin got through 1st, this week! Here’s my review
for Delwin The Krazyman & Ceddybu Da
Rap Sumo Amerikka’s Most Wanted (Hosted
by GoDJ Phat & GoDJ Star)! Start
Time: 12:23 PM | End Time: 12:44
PM

01.
“I Got Da Juice”
Delwin
here… >>> Interestin’; lol @ ur
chantin’… A simple, club song that sounds tight, of course. My Rating: 4.2
02.
“Stand Down”
Yay,
a Delwin/Ceddybu combo! >>> Sounds tight; lol @ Ceddy on tha hook. Oh,
that entertainin’ voice… Once again, anotha interestin’ club song… My Rating: 4.3
03.
“Beef”
>>>
Really likin’ tha Southern, gangsta-soundin’ beat, here. :tu Good job wit
Ceddybu holdin’ down tha hook, as well as tha hood shit he spittin’. Lol @
Delwin “losin’ patience” on tha 2nd verse; he sounds interestin’ wit
his catchy rhymes… My Rating: 4.5
04.
“Chris Nu$$ie Jackson”
I
don’t approve of a resurrection… >>> I’ll pass wit tha hook; verses
aren’t too bad, but I don’t think I wanna hear this kinda title… My Rating: 3.2
05.
“Dope Man”
>>>
Nice beat, here, and tha hook’s pretty nice, on a gangsta-type title, which I’m
feelin’. Tha both of y’all did a nice job wit tha verses; gotta feel tha
representation fa tha “dope.” My Rating:
4.3
06.
“Big Boi (Remix)” Feat. Josh Viggers, Young Ready, B-Raw, J-Max & DJ B-Real
Remix
not in tha ID? I remember this…; DJ B-Real on tha hook? My Current Rating: 4.4
½time: A 4.2-rated mixtape, currently; nice
job!!
07.
“I’m Gon Shine (Soul Glow)”
>>>
What iz this start? Okay, luckily, wit Delwin doin’ tha rappin’, this doesn’t
sound like it would be a gay-soundin’ song… Tha rhymes are aight, here, but
that hook? Wth? Good to hear Ceddybu on tha 2nd verse, but can hear
this kinda shit from everyone, everyone, everyone else. My Rating: 3.5
08.
“If U Ain’t Finna Suck Me (You Ain’t Finna Touch Me)”
Lol
@ tha parenthesis, this time! Anotha funny song, right chea! My Current Rating: 4.5
09.
“Rock Wit You (R.I.P. MJ)”
No
need for tha most-dickrided death to be mentioned! Damn, even you-know-who on
tha beat? Feel uncomfortable to say, but damn, I’ll take some “Last Drag”! ;)
Not really for me, overall, especially tha hook. My Rating: 2.1
10.
“Sex Fiend” Feat. Lega-C
Heard
a few times; what’s up wit Lega-C as a feature? Wasn’t it T-Dub? Still great
wit tha verses and production, but tha hook destroys tha song, still. :( Rather
hear T-Dub, too… My Rating: 2.7
11.
“Macho Man” Feat. Hollyhood
Bay Bay
Still
great to see here, except tha Nu$$ie parts. My Current Rating: 4.3
12.
“Too Real Not To Like”
>>>
Sounds good, and even though I like it, you really need to get off of Nu$$ie’s
nuts, at times; can’t bear to hear somethin’ of him-related in almost every
song… :td As far as Ceddy, at least there’s some entertainment, but rhymes? I
dunno about tha quality of ‘em… My
Rating: 3.8
13.
“Shake Dem Haters Off”
Just
a Ceddybu song? >>> God, a fuckin’ Nu$$ie-referenced intro? C’mon…
This iz okay, but it sounds like a jacked beat… Tha hook’s good; typicalness at
its finest, though. My Rating: 4.3
Overall: Turned out to be pretty
good, overall.
Rankings:
13. “Rock Wit You (R.I.P. MJ)” 2.1
12. “Sex Fiend” Feat. Lega-C 2.7
11. “Chris Nu$$ie Jackson” 3.2
10. “I’m Gon Shine (Soul Glow)” 3.5
09. “Too Real Not To Like” 3.8
08. “I Got Da Juice” 4.2

Bay 4.3

Review #1,148: Tha Kidd AJC "The Best You Never Heard"
Reviewed on 4.21.2012 (Review #1,148)
I
really have no time for reviewz, right now, but because I ran outta new music
(have been too busy wit tha end of this college semester to be sittin’ down and
reviewin’; still spendin’ time on tryna find my lost equipment, too), I’m
reviewin’ a CD. This iz Tha Kidd AJC The Best You Never Heard; need an
interview for my radio show 2night, I holla’d at AJC, and now, it’s time to get
somethin’ new a listen! Start Time: 8:54
AM | End Time: 9:22 AM
Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0

01.
“Show Ya ‘Bout It”
A
self-produced song ta start it off; hope it’s somethin’ good, especially since
I’m crownin’ you today’s interview before I even hear this CD! >>>
Good “smoke dro” start, here; glad you all about dat smokin’! Keep dem anthems comin’!! Likin’ this beat sound a whole lot for a producer like yourself;
great vibe, here! “I be ducked off;” nice/you know what it iz! Nice job wit tha
verses; nothin’ wrong ova here! My
Rating: 4.2
02.
“Livin’ Life”
No
producer listed? >>> Nice intro for tha beat, but once tha 1st
verse (long hook?) starts, it sounds a lil’ mainstream-y wit tha background
vocals. However, somethin’ ‘bout this beat’s keepin’ my attention pretty high
for what you’re spittin’. Vibe’s real nice, here, and your regular, “livin’
life”-type rhymes sound great, here! My
Rating: 4.3
03.
“Fuck Sum”
Back
to you on tha beats! >>> Lol @ tha intro; ‘bout ta get real nasty,
lol? Some of how tha beginning vibe sounds reminds me a lil’ bit of Enigma’s
“Sadeness, Pt. 1” hit single from tha early ‘90s; you seem to keep catchin’ my
attention wit these beats!! Ooh, extra sounds comin’ outta this beat, too?
Also, some more good shit about “smoke”-type shit, lol! Funny title; seems like
everything comes into play together more than just to “fuck” sumthin’, lol! My Rating: 4.3
04.
“Hittin’ Licks”
A
Hitman beat; this looks a lil’ anticipatin’… >>> Really likin’ tha
Savage-soundin’ production start, here! :tu Trap anthem at its finest; you on a
non-stop grind!! Of course, tha hook says it all about tha grindin’!! Tha 2nd
verse iz pretty tight, too; gotta keep this grindin’ goin’!! My Rating: 4.3
05.
“Seat Back”
You
on tha beat, again… >>> I dunno about havin’ a beat tag; they’re
annoying, no matter who it iz. Yours iz a lil’ cheesy, but this beat ain’t too
bad… This sounds more like a nice, laidback joint; good rhymes, in a high state
of mind, lol. My Rating: 3.7
06.
“Bury Me A G” Feat. Young Freeze
Not
a part of DatPiff’s folder; lemme hear this sample… >>> Sounds like
‘90s music, but it’s nothin’ bad, luckily; I like tha quicker rappin’! My Rating: 3.8
07.
“Da Smoke Out” Feat. Alize
You
on tha beat, once again. >>> WTF @ tha start? No need to suck dick
now! Tha 1st verse doesn’t really do anything fa me, and tha hook
has 75% of what I hate hearin’ in today’s
music, especially wit this dick-on-dick voice!!!!! *Ends early* My Rating: 1.1
08.
“Live For Today”
>>>
This CD’s kinda goin’ to tha below-average/decent side now; not really my kinda
topic, but this ain’t as bad as tha previous song! My Rating: 3.0
½time: CD started off real
exciting, but it fell into tha decent arena, thanx to tha 2nd ¼…
Either way, tha CD rating’s a 3.6, right now…
09.
“The High Life”
>>>
A ’90s-soundin’ female hook? Sounds real hot! Kinda ehh @ those references in
tha beginning of tha 1st verse, but I’m glad you’re just you. A lil’
bit of an early 2000s vibe for a song, overall, here; thumbs up for this… My Rating: 3.6
10.
“Dey B Hatin’”
Not
into typical titles like this… >>> A Skull Duggery-type intro wit
“keepin’ it 1,000;” finally, an anticipatin’ beat start? Not too bad, overall;
rhymes fit pretty nice, too. Oh, tha hook ruined it! Aren’t I tha one wit a
‘future’ ‘cause I don’t know any other ‘future’ than that, smh! *Stops* My Rating: 2.6
11.
“The Way I’m Feeling” Feat. Que T & Judah
>>>
Not into tha singin’ hook; kinda been tired of this dumb-ass generation of
urban music we’re livin’ in! Tha beat ain’t too bad (I believe that’s you, even
though it’s not listed, ‘cause I heard tha beat tag), and tha rhymes are okay, too.
Wow, I think I like tha previous song betta, lol. My Rating: 2.5
12.
“Let Me Know”
Legit
on tha beat… >>> Sounds like a good, non-Louisiana beat, here and
there… Tha rhymes are okay, here, but tha song’s startin’ ta sound boring wit
tha vibe… My Rating: 3.1
13.
“Mary J Muzik” Feat. Tunez
A
Legit beat; too bad I didn’t have any time on 4/20 ‘cause I was doin’ a lotta
things, college style, yesterday. Okay, at least tha hook sounds normal wit tha
voice; it ain’t too bad, but I expect betta wit a title like this! Rhymes don’t
excite me too much, either, but tha song itself ain’t horrible… My Rating: 3.2
14.
“Cut Buddy”
Here
you are on tha beat… >>> Ugh, tha beat tag…; I know I’m complainin’
but at least it’s about 1.5 seconds long, unlike other peoples’ 3-second ones!
:confused Tha rhymes ain’t too bad; flow sounds a lil’ mainstream-y, here, but
it’s tolerable… My Rating: 2.8
15.
“Switchin’ Lanes”
Here
you are wit tha beat, once again. >>> Back to some hotter-soundin’
beats! Feelin’ tha Southern vibe in this beat, and tha beginning verse iz a
lil’ on tha okay side, here. Got a lot of mainstream-soundin’ lyrics, but I can
deal wit this beat, at least… Tha hook ain’t too bad, either; “I’m a rich
nigga”? Props, but I hope that leads to you doin’ some services wit me soon!
Tha lyrics are startin’ ta get ta me once tha 2nd verse progresses… My Rating: 3.4
16.
“Take A Ride Wit Me”
>>> Okay start wit this title for tha hook… Again, not too crazy about these lyrics, but tha song ain’t too bad, overall. My Rating: 3.2
>>> Okay start wit this title for tha hook… Again, not too crazy about these lyrics, but tha song ain’t too bad, overall. My Rating: 3.2
17.
“I Do This Shit”
You
on tha beat. >>> Here we are wit tha beat tag, once again…; what’s up
wit a Young Jeezy “ehh” sample in tha background? Just that word from him?
Kinda heard it outta nowhere, but it sounds hot once tha beat kicks in on tha
hook… I have ta say, nice hook; this sounds betta than tha shit I heard all
throughout this 2nd ½! Kinda bleh wit tha lyrics, once again; some
are good, but some make me wonder wit this 2010s decade… My Rating: 3.9
Overall: Nice start, but sour 2nd
½; doesn’t matter ‘cause there’s at least some good music on here! You’re
gettin’ an interview from me ‘cause I ran outta people, lol!
Rankings:
17. “Da Smoke Out” Feat. Alize 1.1
16. “The Way I’m Feeling” Feat. Que T & Judah 2.5
15. “Dey B Hatin’” 2.6
14. “Cut Buddy” 2.8
13. “Live For Today” 3.0
