Review #1,289: D. Jackson "Cake Life"

Goin’

“I’m Ready”
I
have a feelin’ some repeat songs are gonna be on here, but whether or not I
should’ve reviewed tha other CD first, I already reviewed it today, so I gon
post my regular ratings: My Current
Rating: 3.9
02.
“Get Paper”
LOL!
My Current Rating: 4.3
03.
“Do Me Like Me”
Dammit,
lol! My Current Rating: 3.7
04.
“Can’t Pass Me Up” Feat. A.R.
*In
a farting perspective* Ahh… >>> A Vybe beat for you, Jackson? Doesn’t
really make sense, but this doesn’t sound bad ta rap on… Tha rappin’ ain’t bad,
here; I like tha hook, although there’s some mainstream-soundin’ shit durin’
your verse… Let’s hear what A.R. has ta say… Sounds catchy; nice lil’ voice fa
dis shit… Tha 3rd verse ain’t as mainstream as tha 1st
verse fa me, so I can deal wit it… My
Rating: 3.4
05.
“Came Up” Feat. DatBoyDevin
His
name’s all not-spaced like dat? >>> Not bad for a start; tha beat’s a
lil’ interestin’… Let’s hear what this featured dude sounds like… Ehh, only
decent for me. My Rating: 3.0
06.
“Mill Ticket” Feat. SP & DatBoyDevin
>>>
A lil’ too long for me to keep my interest… To me, this just anotha hustlin’-type
song, like tha otha 1,000,000 of ‘em out there… My Rating: 2.3
07.
“On My Grizzy”
>>>
Sounds like some Soulja Boy/V.I.C.-type lyrics on tha hook, here, wit tha
simple shit… Tha beat’s a lil’ cool, though simple, too… Wow @ tha first 53
seconds wit just tha title… Not really into tha beginning of tha 1st
verse; sounds like you listen to way
too much Kevin Gates! My Rating: 2.6
08. “Cake Life”
La-la-la-la-la… My Current
Rating: 1.5
09.
“Be Without You”
>>>
Nice to hear an Aaliyah sample, but “Ice Cream Paint Job” producer on tha beat?
Where are you? Either way, this ain’t nothin’ special for me… Sounds like
anotha mixtape song wit it just bein’ okay/below-average. My Rating: 2.4
½time: So far, three stars
iz what I rate this CD; seems like there’s not much to offer, here. I see how
you didn’t produce all tha songs; no wonder why tha Temptations CD’s betta…
10.
“Get It Today”
>>>
A lil’ non-Southern for me wit tha beat you’re rappin’ on… It’s a lil’ on a
laidback tip, but too boring for me when it comes to a producer I think has
talent! My Rating: 2.2
11.
“Alotta Respect” Feat. A.R.
Usually, “a lot” iz two words, but I’ll let tha compound wordness slide, here… >>> Okay, finally, one of your beats and it sounds nice! Now, this iz what I’m talkin’ about wit tha beats!! Also, nice job wit tha hook; drillin’ tha title in err-body’s asses!! I’m also feelin’ how you’re comin’ through on tha 1st verse; nice rhymes and how you’re comin’ through on here! A-Dot-R-Dot’s on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some nice shit; can’t deny this… And, you on tha 3rd verse sounds catchy; I can hear tha entertainment in your voice wit tha “boy” parts. It sounds like you’re actually enjoyin’ tha song! My Rating: 4.3

12.
“Grown Man” Feat. Lit Sig
>>>
Okay, now, we’re back to tha okay/below-average shit. Tha beat ain’t really
nothin’ for me, but some of tha rhymes you’re comin’ through wit are
entertainin’, tha way you deliver ‘em… Nothin’ really goin’ on wit tha hook,
either, especially wit there bein’ a sample on it, too. Let’s see what this Lit
Sig dude ‘bout on tha 2nd verse… Once he said, “swag,” I feel like I
can just cut tha verse; I know it’s on tha below-average level for me… My Rating: 2.6
13.
“Shake Something”
>>>
Nice beginning; finally, it sounds a lil’
different than usual tracks! Likin’ tha beat, and tha okay lyrics ain’t too bad
for this track, either… Almost sounded like St. Louis/Nelly wit tha
“rre”-soundin’ words durin’ tha 2nd verse! My Rating: 4.0
14.
“Drop It Low” Feat. A.R. & PAP
>>>
Nice beginnin’ from A.R. on tha 1st verse; feelin’ his consistency! Nice
beat, includin’ a nice “ass” song! I might like this betta than tha previous
song; keep this consistency up!! “Callin’ all ass to tha flo!” Tha 2nd
verse sounds like tha PAP dude, since I don’t recognize tha voice… Nothin’
wack, here, and it’s on-topic, so I can feel it…, a lil’… And, as far as tha 3rd
verse, it ain’t bad; we’ll consider you on a decent level, D… My Rating: 4.1
15.
“Feel You”
>>>
Yes, tha consistency continues wit this fast vibe!! A lil’ boring aside from
tha beat, but it ain’t that bad for
me… Still, why 4:47 on tha length? Not every
song has to be long and not every CD
has ta be 80 minutes long! Too long to keep my interest… Tha rhymes are really
on an okay/somewhat-wack-for-others level, but I ain’t trippin’ too much on it… My Rating: 3.2
16.
“Bubbling”
LOL!
My Current Rating: 3.8
17.
“We On”
L-to-tha-O-to-tha-L-to-tha-!
My Current Rating: 2.8
18.
“We Gone Be Alright”
Final
song… >>> Just like tha title says, this iz “alright” for me; nothin’ special. It ain’t bad for an ending
song… My Rating: 2.9
Overall: Wit all tha repeat songs,
I thought I was definitely gon see
tha Kevin Gates feature; good thing it ain’t here, lol! Turns out tha Temptations CD was better. Either way,
like I said tha last time, take away tha mainstream topics, and focus on tha
undaground of Louisiana!
Do you live tha same life as others, or do you live a different life?

Review #1,288: D. Jackson "Temptations"
Reviewed on 5.29.2013 (Review #1,288)
Got
anotha review, here. This one iz Golden Music Group’s D. Jackson Temptations! I
have to say, as much as I wanted to get this review done with last night, I’m
glad I waited ‘til today ‘cause today actually marks three years since I had my
first (and currently, only) phone call wit D. Jackson, back on May 29, 2010. I
knew I remembered somethin’ wit you and dat date, so I had to check, which I
was correct! So, it’s only right dat I get into this now! Start Time: 10:51 AM | End
Time: 11:16 AM

“Intro To Temptations”
>>>
You on tha intro… Also, rappin’ involved? Didn’t know you rapped, but here’s a
lil’ somethin’… Nice lil’ rhymes, but betta beat! Some of it sounds a lil’
mainstream, but it’s listenable… I even can deal wit tha singin’, too! My Rating: 4.3
02.
“I’m Ready”
Not
sure who tha artists are (unless, it’s all you?), but here goes nothin’…
>>> Sound a lil’ like A.R., only wit a different voice, hence you guys
bein’, like, tha same age. This ain’t bad, and it’s listenable, but The Diplomats/Cam’ron
and them did it betta wit this sample over 10 years ago! Tha rhymes are good,
too; nice lil’ song, overall! My Rating:
3.9
03.
“Conquer”
>>>
Nice beginning, and it transitioned into a nice beat! A lil’ Chief
Keef-soundin’ wit tha voice (e.g., tha “uh”-soundin’ words), but it ain’t bad
for this underground, Baton Rouge
sound… Almost sounds like a different dude on tha 2nd verse; hope
you don’t have unsourced people ‘cause dat wouldn’t be fair! My Rating: 4.0
04.
“My City” Feat. Kevin Gates & A.R.
Speakin’ of tha ’10, here’s one from dat year! My Current Rating: 4.6
Speakin’ of tha ’10, here’s one from dat year! My Current Rating: 4.6
05.
“Temptations”
A
title track… >>> Ehh, a lil’ mainstream wit tha way you’re deliverin’
tha words. I wouldn’t pay attention to this if I had no clue who it was ‘cause
of its mainstream sound, so I’ll pass on this one. For your perspective on tha
track, it ain’t bad… My Rating: 2.9
06.
“Get Paper”
>>>
I like tha vibe on tha beat, here; sounds like anotha version of “Wanna Bite
Chu”—thought I’d see dat on here? Maybe, it’s on tha previous CD? Jammin’
delivery on this beat, too; feelin’ what you’re spittin’! Tha hook ain’t bad,
though I hate money songs, these dayz, after I got robbed by a BR dude! My Rating: 4.3
07.
“I’m Bubbling”
>>>
A lil’ slower than tha previous track’s beat, but it sounds good wit your
delivery, once again; catchy lyrics and sound, once again! Tha hook’s a lil’
catchy; not bad for a track, overall… Seems like a lil’ long for a song wit no
features, but whateva… My Rating: 3.8
08.
“Believe Dat”
Accordin’
to tha back cover, this one’s not
produced by you. >>> A lil’ catchy. Reminds me of Young Ca$h’s 2006
single of tha same name. Hearin’ tha 1st verse, and although some of
this iz entertainin’, it sounds a lot like a Lil’ Wayne-rapped verse that would
be considered ‘today’s generation wack.’ My
Rating: 3.5
½time: So far, it seems like
this iz a nice CD of yours; I thought it was a compilation, but it’s mainly you
and your beats. For tha CD rating currently, it’s at a 3.9; not bad – that’s good!
09.
“Again & Again”
>>>
Tha beat’s decent, and tha song’s okay; tha hook’s a lil’ catchy, too. I’m
feelin’ your “weed” and “smoke in tha air” parts… My Rating: 3.4
10.
“BooKoo Money”
LOL
@ tha spellin’ of “buku;” I’ve always felt that that was tha non-Louisiana spellin’
of it. I remember when Yung Joc tried to jack “buku” and turn it into “BooKoo,”
smh! >>> Wow, I forgot there was “money” in tha title ‘cause I was
payin’ attention to tha stupid “BooKoo.” As much as this iz long, this iz so not for me wit this hook! This iz an
example of why tha mainstream rap scene’s so fucked up! My Rating: 1.6
11.
“Like Me”
>>>
Beat sounds nice, here; almost sounds like A.R. in tha beginning? I swear,
sometimes, tha both of y’all have a similar sound, in wayz. Rhymes ain’t bad,
either… My Rating: 3.7
12.
“Cake Life”
I
just found an older CD of yours on your DatPiff profile wit this title in it. I
was gonna review dat one first, but I’ll do this CD first. I’m sure this song’s
also on there, but lemme get my first listen at it now… >>> Why are
tha money songs so long? They should be no more than 3:00 in length—or wait, no
money songs at all! Should just be
secretly thrown into a rhyme, like masturbation or somethin’! Anyway, this
sounds too boring for me, between tha dry beat and rhymes… My Rating: 1.5
13.
“Day & Night” Feat. A.R.
Problem
Child Entertainment! >>> Sounds like an okay/above-average song, so
far, as far as tha hook… I hear A.R. on tha 1st verse and good thing
he’s listed ‘cause I would’ve been afraid it was Lil’ Mista or someone’s
overrated-ass on tha track. Then again, A.R. doesn’t have all that cocky shit
dat Mista spits, so it levels out to some listenable shit without feelin’
shitty about yourself, for not meeting Mista’s standards. And A.R., you have
some catchy rhymes, here; nice and consistent! Here you are on tha 2nd
verse, D, and wow, “licking me while I roll up tha weed”? Interestin’,
especially bein’ your age and someone “licking” on you. I have yet to
experience dat! I liked A.R.’s verse betta than yours, but it ain’t that bad of
a song, overall; a lil’ mainstream wit some of tha rhymes, though… My Rating: 3.6
14.
“On My Shit”
>>> An okay vibe, but way too mainstream wit tha lyrics for me. What will tha world be like without “money” and “bitches”? Tha answer: Some of tha shit I rap about, such as my great-grandma’s house gettin’ off tha land! Check out tha link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4n9fKgBFr_g My Rating: 2.4

15.
“Leaking”
>>>
Feelin’ tha beat start; let’s see how it progresses, and I hope it doesn’t lose
its vibe wit dumb mainstream lyrics… Tha hook sounds a lil’ catchy… Hearin’
some “female” rhymes, here, and it sounds like a single or somethin’. That
beat’s real catchy wit tha sounds; it’s almost like you can’t get away from it!
My Rating: 3.7
16.
“They Lovin’ It”
Anotha
track that’s not produced by you…
>>> Doesn’t sound like you “on some other shit,” here; to me, it
sounds like every other mainstream rapper… My
Rating: 2.6
17.
“We On”
>>>
Decent for an ending song; doesn’t do anything for me, though. Why “mixtape”?
This sounds like an album!! It’s not mixed and doesn’t have a host! I consider it
an album!!
My Rating: 2.8
Overall: Started off real nice,
but started gettin’ watered-down toward tha 2nd ½ wit all dat
mainstream-soundin’ shit. Keep up tha producin’ thang; you ain’t that bad of a rapper, overall! All you
have to do iz get rid of tha mainstream topics, and you’ll be aight!

Review #1,287: Bubba "Tha Traymond Jones Story: Reloaded"

Keepin’
tha reviewz consistent, I have Big Stacks Entertainment’s Bubba Tha Traymond Jones Story:
Reloaded review up next, or iz dat Tha
Traymond Jones Story II? Either way, I’m anticipated for it; gotta luv what
Bubba brings to tha table at all
times!! I also must say that as far as tha original Tha Traymond Jones Story CD cover went with lookin’ real catchy, I
think this updated one in blue’s just as catchy! Somethin’ about you, Bubba,
that catches onto people, in an obsessive way!! Start Time: 9:19 PM | End
Time: 9:59 PM

“Check My Résumé”
Tha
producer listed iz Baby G Money Baby Beats; iz that an online beat or
somethin’? Either way, I’m anticipatin’ this beginning track!! >>> Yea,
it iz an online one… Nice intro from tha Big Stacks dude in tha beginning…
Sounds real nice wit how you’re
comin’ through wit tha rappin’ on tha 1st verse!! Speakin’ of bein’
in grade school, today’s 10 years since I started rappin’!! Wrote it ‘bout a
chick who wound up bein’ born on tha same
exact day/year as me! Feelin’ tha hook; your “résumé” iz off tha hook, too,
and you’re always interestin’, ya
heard me?! “At tha age of 27;” oh, so it’s pre-“Gangnam Style” (lol, your birthday, when I first heard/downloaded that song), a.k.a.,
before September 13, 2012, wit this song? Either way, it cool ‘cause you a dog
goin’ vicious, off tha chain!!! For an online beat, I have to say, I luv this!! How can you deny this shit?! My Rating: 4.7
02.
“Retarded” Feat. Max Minelli
Oh,
so this iz featuring Max Minelli, I see? Interestin’!! Since I already heard it
(you can see tha full review for just your parts on Solo Mafia’s Mobb Ties review I just did, earlier
today), I gon review Max’s part and apply it to tha review/rating: >>>
Real nice from him, though “eight stacks” to perform? That’s a lotta cash; I can’t
imagine me bein’ worth that… I wonder what he does to catch peoples’
attentions? Either way, nice that he on this! My Rating: 4.7
03.
“Polo Everythang”
LOL!
My Current Rating: 4.9
04.
“Bet Dat” Feat. Savage Trackz
LOL
@ Sav labeled as “Savage Trackz”! I’m really
lookin’ forward to anotha Savage collaboration—a first for a rappin’ collab, I
see!! >>> Feelin’ tha Savage beat start, as well as you startin’ off
wit tha hook!! Boy, dis shit tight as fuck, like tha otha songs!! Some of tha
sounds sound like Savage’s production of Young Ready’s “Gettin’ Dough”, as well
as havin’ a hyped-up sound; nice, for tha 2012/2013 vibe! Ooh, Savage on tha actual hook—your part was just startin’
tha song off! Nice job, Savage (Trackz), lol! Here he iz on tha 2nd
verse, comin’ through wit mo shit ta offer fa tha streetz! He a king, so it’s always great ta have somethin’ of him on
your shit! Ooh, you’re on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit some
consistency; hope you neva become
silenced!! Ooh, “loratabs, xanabarz;” shit yeah!!! My Rating: 4.6
05.
“Like A Jungle”
Mod
Productions doin’ tha beat; really likin’ this title, so I know I gon luv it!!! >>> Ooh, tha beat start definitely has me locked in, right about now!!! Oh, here we are wit tha “The
Message”-kinda beginning of tha hook, but as other times I’ve heard it, I love
this one just as much!! Glad there’s a Louisiana
version, lol! I’m definitely feelin’
what you’re bringin’ on tha 1st verse; how can you fail?! Neva will you fail!!! Yes, like tha 2nd verse
says, you really are “tha [one] Polo
king!!” My Rating: 4.7
06.
“My Trust Fucked Up” Feat. Young Ready
This
was my highest-rated song on tha original Tha
Traymond Jones Story, but I think “Polo Everythang” deserves it, now! My Current Rating: 4.8
07.
“Bullshyt”
Mod
doin’ tha beat, here; I like how tha title has a “Y” in it! >>> Catchy
hook; too bad “everytime, [you] make a turn, somebody ‘bout dat bullshyt!” I
feel like dat wit me, too! People just can’t handle my consistency, as well as
me growin’ up!! Here’s tha 1st verse, comin’ through as tha #1 dad!
However, until I’m a dad, I don’t consider Father’s Day a special day, lol;
just another day for me… You know how it iz when your parents divorce! Hearin’
tha 2nd verse, and that sux ass
dat someone’ll take “two grand” just to “kill someone;” wtf iz “two grand”? Dat
nothin’!! My Rating: 4.6
08.
“All The Way Up (Remix)” Feat. Lil’ G
Let’s
hear tha remix, although we’re minusing tha Lil’ Ernest, lol… >>> Sounds
like tha orig—oh, I hear tha “still” on tha hook; interestin’, although it
sounds like a clean version to me, lol! Hearin’ tha 1st verse, and
it sounds like you’ve progressed. One thang I really liked about tha original
version was how you said, “Somebody woman;” dat line, and how you delivered it,
was real nice!! Hearin’ Lil’ G on tha
2nd verse, and it sounds good, too; just as good as tha original!
This iz a first, for me: Usually, remixes have at least one more name and a
different beat. It could be tha same beat with a new feature, too. However, wit
this, it’s tha same beat, and a feature’s subtracted, but new verses are from
you & G… My Rating: 4.6
½time: Sounds like a real nice CD; 4.7 for tha CD rating, currently?!
You know you’re, like, on A+ status
standards now, Bubba!!!!!

Tha Misfit comin’ through wit a beat, here, again; looks like a Clipse
perspective wit this title, and I’m lookin’ forward! >>> A :45 nice,
long intro wit this “I’m yo pusha” lil’ hook; interestin’… Here you are on tha
1st verse, and your flow/voice iz soooooo catchy!!! Glad you’re back, keepin’ tha lyrics and shit so
entertainin’!! Sounds like a short song, but there’s a 2nd verse,
and you sound nice wit all these hi-hats in tha background! LOL, gotta luv your
real-life rhymes wit such entertainment!!!
My Rating: 4.5
10.
“You Ain’t Talking 2 Me”
Anotha
EQ beat; let’s see what you got hollain’ on this one… >>> An okay
intro; sounds like you now really
attach yourself to EQ, which I guess iz a good thing ‘cause of these good
beats. I know I’ll neva be dat to most people in tha music biz; I gotta come up
wit valuable ideas! As far as this song, it’s an interestin’ song about doin’ nothin’ fa “free!” Good shit on tha 1st
verse, comin’ through wit how you’re affectin’ so many…, which wasn’t “for free!” Keepin’ shit goin’
wit tha 2nd verse, too; you’re right: This iz “official!!” I definitely
think it iz; keep up tha great work!!
My Rating: 4.4
11.
“Characters” Feat. Dino Danja & 31stDeedy
Likin’
tha title, and anotha EQ beat! >>> Interestin’ beat start that’s
slowly progressin’ nicely!! Tha hook sounds nice; really feelin’ how you’re
tacklin’ tha “characters” topic! Here’s Dino on tha 1st verse,
comin’ through wit his nice, everyday-livin’ “mission!” Here you are on tha 2nd
verse, comin’ through wit some fast rappin’; I’m actually feelin’ it, though I’ve been tired of people bustin’ tha
fast rappin’, lately! “Don’t nobody take me serious;” really? I take you nice and serious!! Hopefully, if you got
some bread for me, I can do some real
nice things for this CD of yours, such as a commercial and more! Think, Bubba,
think!! Here’s Deedy on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit this
“___-ass nigga” shit, which sounds catchy… Good song, overall; very catchy
topic!! My Rating: 4.6
12.
“I Still Love You” Feat. Tawanna Louis
Now,
a Lil’ G beat; I have a feelin’ this gon be laidback or somethin’… >>>
G, you gotta get rid of tha beat tag; not too into beat tags, especially if
they’re long!! As far as tha start of this, it ain’t that laidback. Tha female
sounds nice on tha hook; almost sounds like a 2002 underground song I heard on
tha college radio, up here in Northeast PA. To
go wit tha catchy sounding, here’s tha 1st verse: You, comin’
through wit some nice sex shit, lol! LOL @ “if I was sober, I’d prolly be
facing jail time” line; very anti-Bubba to be “sober!” …………………Anti-Bubba, ya
heard me, lol?!? Tha 2nd verse from you sounds nice, here; keep it
goin’ for tha bitches! “Relationships, I just can’t handle ‘em;” glad I’ve neva
had one, yet! I’m nice and patient, focusin’ on my career, at tha moment! I
sacrificed turnin’ people on back in high school, and had $300.00+ worth of
change/dollars either thrown at me, or I found! Talk about early hustlin’!! My Rating: 4.3
13.
“Momma Always Told Me (Remix)” Feat. Dat Boy A & 38 Slimm
Now,
a remix? Original version from tha previous CD was produced by Mod Productions
and now, this iz produced by EQ… >>> Oh, it’s no EQ; it’s back to Mod
Productions and tha original sound… Lemme get to tha 38 $limm verse… Sounds
nice; I think I feel betta wit this song, now! My Rating: 4.3
14.
“Father Forgive Me”
Looks
like an ending song; Mod Productions on tha beat. >>> Wow, it’s not a
soft start wit tha beat, despite this title!! No less, goin’ from a “Momma”
title to a “Father” title; what are tha odds of dat?! Sounds like a catchy hook
from you; definitely “forgive” Mr.
Bubba, here!! Likin’ tha real, gangsta-soundin’, everyday-soundin’ shit on tha
1st verse; always keep shit pumpin’, Bubb!! Tha 2nd verse
sounds nice, too; please, don’t stop
rappin’!! Always keep tha hot
shit comin’ along, especially wit neva
havin’ a soft, or under-4.0-rated song!!! My
Rating: 4.3
15.
“Feeling Good Tonight” Feat. Lil’ G & Q-Red
My Current Rating: 4.6
16.

“All The Way Up” Feat. Lil’ Ernest & Lil’ G
LOL
@ goin’ from remix to original! My
Current Rating: 4.7
Overall: Anotha classic from dat
boy Traymond Jones, a.k.a. Bubba!!! Definitely
feelin’ tha new ones, and tha old classics definitely
make a nice combination for this Reloaded
edition!! Keep up tha good work and yes, it was good bein’ you for Halloween
for a few minutes (along with a few others), back last year!

Review #1,286: Savage "Guts, Grind & Glory"
Reviewed on 5.28.2013 (Review #1,286)
Got
tha Solo Mafia Enterprises reviewz continuin’!! This next one, only two months
old, iz Savage Guts, Grind & Glory!! I’m anticipatin’ these country rap
tunez, so before Aaliyah’s Behind The
Music takes my attention away, I finna get into this review right now! Start Time: 6:27 PM | End Time: 7:24 PM
Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!
I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long
as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and
then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a
song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6
rating, I pretty much really love it,
as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I
hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type
before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything
after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening
to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or
talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’
topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I
was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much
you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done
business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

01.
“GGG Intro”
Not
only iz it tha name of tha CD, but that’s really what you are, Sav! Not just a
“G,” but a TRIPLE “G!!!” >>> What a nice beat in tha background from you!! Yea, like you said, they
think “you quit or somethin’;” I bet
people ta say dat to me! It’s like, we’re doin’ bigger projects! Sometimes,
it’s more about tha video countdown that’s two hours long than buku
commercials; that’s how I feel ‘bout myself! Ooh, rappin’, too! “Focus like a
telescope;” always wit me, Sav! Got my focus on your music and showin’ you
luv!! Nice closing to tha 1st
verse: “And, this iz how I welcome you to Guts,
Grind & Glory!!” Even sounds tight
for a hook!!! My Rating: 4.6
02.
“Do It For The Money”
I’m
slowly becomin’ like this, mainly to those that don’t know all my talents and
are younger than me! >>> Nice lil’ song, includin’ tha hook and great
beat of yours!! “Diagnosed me an insomniac;” what a nice line fa your hustlin’, Sav!! Can’t deny it, and I luv your rhymes!! You always got shit on lock, strictly makin’
a feel-good track fa err-body, here!! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice;
keep grindin’, ignorin’ most of those that are younger than you—well, unless it
‘bout “tha money!” Nice lil’ bridge from tha unlisted singer! “I hate this
job,” but he luvs that “check;” to me, I feel like it’s like dat when tryna
book people for my Tha Louisiana Archives
mixtape compilation. Like, do I have to spend hours promotin’ myself, only
makin’ $20 off each person that submits a song? Totally doesn’t seem worth it…
Nice lil’ extra part from you toward tha end, too! My Rating: 4.4
03.
“Get Loose” Feat. Lil’ Mista & Level
Forgot
you had “Get Loose Wit It” back five
years ago, already! Let’s see what dis one gon sound like… >>> I like
tha “get loose” part in tha beginning; sounds nice!! Tha hook sounds pretty
nice; definitely some nice shit! You even can have some auto-tune slide in
there, and it doesn’t sound pathetic! Oh, Mista sneakin’ in on tha 1st
verse; random, since he ain’t sourced on tha ID… Him and his automatic long
dick, I-have-everything-in-tha-world-type rhymes… Usually, I don’t go for it,
but because it’s your song, this iz acceptable… You’re on tha 2nd
verse, and even though your voice iz a lil’ altered, at times, but I can deal
wit it; nice job! Oh, Level snuck into tha 3rd verse, too; I
should’ve known by tha background, “yeah,” vocals in tha hook! Well, though I’m
not in tha mood, tha verse came at me, head on, and it sounds good. Too bad I’m
not important to him at all, as other calls/texts are more important to him.
Also, I thought he was gonna jack his verse on Jiggaman’s “Get Loose” song from
last year, onto here. Either way, that collab was better, but this was still
nice! My Rating: 4.4
04.
“Gotta Stay Strapped”
I
can’t imagine runnin’ into someone who’s “strapped,” when I visit Louisiana. Personally, I
think it sounds too obsessive; it’s almost like you’re locked into drama on
purpose, but that’s just me. >>> Tha beat sounds nice, here; dat
country rap tunez style! Tha rhymes on tha 1st verse sound good; as
you’re gettin’ older, you still gotta
“stay strapped!” Tha hook sounds nice, too; I dunno who tha dude on tha 2nd
½ of tha hook iz, but they sound good mixin’ wit you… Here you are on tha 2nd
verse, comin’ through wit no vitality, if you’re not “strapped!” Here’s tha 3rd verse, and you sound good
wit expressin’ how peeps be wantin’ everything of yours for free. I hate those
money virgins, Sav!! My Rating: 4.3
05.
“Backwards-Ass World”
Interestin’
title; I think you tellin’ tha truth wit this title, too! To me, it’s more like
a “backwards-ass” schedule people have, how they’re so “busy,” smh!
>>> Much more laidback, here, on tha beat… Hearin’ you spit on tha 1st
verse, and it sounds nice; sounds like it would go toward tha end of tha CD…
Feelin’ tha hook wit your real lyrics. As much as tha “cheaters always win,” in
2011, surprisingly, one rapper that was “too busy” to do business wit me died
in a car accident. I was like, “Wow, since when does tha hater die?” Tha 2nd
verse iz nice, too; keep reppin’ for tha real!! Same thing wit tha 3rd
verse: You got shit on lock fa those peeps like me, and I really appreciate it!
My Rating: 4.0
06.
“Dope Mane”
Let’s
hear what dis be ‘bout… >>> Sounds like Ready in tha beginning, but
it’s you; nice lil’ Southern beat from you, once again! Really likin’ tha 1st
verse wit how you comin’ through wit your drug-related lyrics; always
interestin’ ta hear about your life in tha past! Can’t believe my former
drug-dealin’ cousin gon only be 21 tomorrow! Five years ago was when he first
got snitched on, which sucked. It’s always somethin’ special to have a
drug-dealin’ family member at a young age in your family… Tha hook sounds real
catchy wit how you made your voice sound, on here; nice and smooth wit these
drugs, lol!! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too, as you keepin’ this
“dope” dope shit continuin’!! Ooh, even tha 3rd verse, too; very focused, Savage!! I like your
“paranoia” part, too; hate to see you eva get arrested, Sav!! No, no, no!!! My Rating: 4.7
07.
“The Other Side”
>>> A lil’ funny wit tha voice, here… Okay, tha rhymes are soundin’ interestin’ on tha 1st verse, here, as well as your beat… Tha hook sounds nice; it’s all about that mysterious “other side!” Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too; glad you keepin’ tha real shit comin’ along, like a king supposed to! Honestly, that’s what I consider you as: a king! Just look at yourself, Sav; take a good look at yourself! My Rating: 3.9
½time: So far, a nice,
consistent CD!! Keep these country rap tunez comin’ along fa tha people, Sav!!
A 4.3-rated
CD, currently!!!
08.
“Penitentiary Chances”
Looks
like a nice title; lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this!! >>> Nice, smooth
lil’ country rap-soundin’ beat, and tha hook sounds nice wit this topic of tha
“penitentiary!” Great job rappin’ tha “penitentiary” future/perspective in tha
1st verse; good job, Sav! You keepin’ tha 2nd verse
comin’ along fa your “daughter” and it sounds nice; you gon need a son soon! A
Lil’ Sav Sinatra! Oh no, it’s 7:00; Behind
The Music Remastered: Aaliyah iz on! Oh, I think it’s tha saddest death
I’ve been around durin’ my time in tha music biz! But anyway, wit tha rest of
tha song, you did a nice job keepin’ this shit on-n-poppin’! My Rating: 4.2
09.
“I’m So Thoed”
LOL
@ tha title; let’s hear this! >>> Sounds like a featured singer on tha
hook; catchy shit, includin’ tha nice beat, once again! Tha 1st
verse iz you, and you tryna chill/go on wit life, but you’re “so thoed,” lol! A
nice lil’ fucked-up song, lol! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice wit how you
comin’ through, feelin’ “like a football,” lol! Oh, here’s that singer (or
rapper?) on tha 3rd verse; they have a good, country-rap feel fa
this track, right here! Nice “thoed” endin’ from you, Sav, lol! My Rating: 4.4
10.
“Only You”
!
>>> A female singer on tha hook; sounds like someone sexy… Here you
are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit a laidback vibe, here.
Sounds like you’re always open for sex, like a Wal-Mart or somethin’, lol! Tha
2nd verse sounds nice, too; no matta if it’s a “gangsta in a shoot
out” or this big sex scene, your combination of rhymes seem to always make tha
track sound nice! Oh, a 3rd verse fit in here…; sounds good, too;
how can someone like you not “murder”
a “pussy”? My Rating: 4.1
11.
“All Wrong”
Time
ta hear it! >>> LOL @ tha start; dat “dick” seems ta get in err-body’s
way, huh, lol? Uh oh, sounds like an erected-Savage on tha hook ‘cause of tha
a-tune; not bad wit how it sounds, and I can fuck wit what you talkin’ ‘bout,
here. LOL, how can anyone deny you, Sav? Not exactly sure who’s on tha 2nd
verse, but since they said they’re tha “Problem Child,” I assumed it was A.R.,
at first. However, I don’t think I exactly know who this iz… They sounded like
havin’ sex iz easy, as usual; anotha person that doesn’t struggle wit
communicating… LOL @ tha “stay in my ear like earphones” line; talk about how
hooked this bitch iz! LOL @ tha cold ending… My Rating: 4.0
12.
“Dis Ain’t Wassup”
Anotha
female-related song? Lemme hear… >>> Oh, get your head wrap on ‘cause
it’s Erykah Badu and her “Didn’t Ya Know” beat! Goin’ back to my old cassette
tapes, huh, Sav? That’s exactly what I was doin’ when you dropped this CD two
months ago! Nice rhymes fa this shit; different twist and it’s not like it’s a
typical, cheesy jacked beat! You even threw in her pre-chorus part; nice! You
sound good tryna communicate wit an imaginary-Badu, lol! Tha 2nd
verse sounds nice, too; keep tha rhymes goin’ on this smooth beat! Tha 3rd
verse iz here, and you keepin’ “dis” goin’, whether it’s “wassup” or not for
peeps, male or female! Nice job wit tha hook, too; gotta get outta those not “wassup” areas! My Rating: 4.3
13.
“Devil In My Eyez”
Nice
title, especially wit tha “Z”! >>> Nice beat; rhymes sound good on tha
1st verse, here… Tha hook ain’t bad, either; some of tha others were
catchier, but this still nice ta flow wit tha track… Got tha 2nd
verse here, and you keepin’ tha streetz full wit tha ugly “devil,” and how it
can fuck you up. Here’s tha 3rd verse, comin’ through like a real
dude! Glad you still alive fa your age; keep bein’ active and always stay alive!! My Rating: 3.8
14.
“Amazin’ Grace (Tribute)”
This
looks like tha kinda ending title; let’s hear it… >>> Okay, I was
right; sounds like a betta beat, and tha intro sounds nice… Your voice sounds a
lil’ different, like more grown… Tha hook sounds pretty good; I like tha “my
nigga” parts. I hope peeps like DJ B-Real have some sorta big tribute to me
when I’m gone, as well as a lil’ somethin’ from you, too! Tha 2nd verse
sounds nice, too; yea, it sux to lose peeps! As much as you feel like it’s hard
to move on, I have to say, I’m almost 25, and I’ve neva had a friend die, that I knew in person; not bad for 25! Here
you are on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit more memories… You can
only imagine what kinda memorabilia I’ve talked to in Louisiana! I don’t have many of you, due to
I only talked to you on tha phone a few times, but I think I have memories of
most peeps from Louisiana!
My Rating: 3.8
Overall: Definitely feelin’ it;
sounded like a lotta tracks fit together with each other, but I’m glad you’re
always a king! I may’ve liked tha Solo Mafia CD betta, but your quality iz always there!! I’m glad I did all three
reviewz for you today; keep up tha great
work!!
