on tha length?! ½ intro, ½ fiya track?! >>> Oh, I get it! “Down In The
DM” beat; here we go… Haven’t heard a Jackin’
4 Beats-rappin’ Level in a long while! Seems like this refreshin’, despite
this bein’ a jacked-beat joint! Gotta feel how you comin’ through wit tha flow,
here!! ROFL @ tha instant, “Nigga, what?!?,” on tha hook; crazy!! At least you
don’t make this boring by havin’ your “Baton
Rouge” flow on this bitch! Nice job wit tha 1st
verse, of course; can’t deny it!! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ great;
can’t believe you have that big tattoo on your face! Level has leveled up, lol! My Rating: 4.3
02.
“MC Hammer (Remix)” feat. Foxx & Hurricane Chris
Ooh,
can’t wait ta hear this crazy club banga!! I gon need a drank fa this
one—water, that iz! Mouse On Tha Track on tha production and look at tha crazy
lineup fa tha features!!! >>> Still soundin’ pulsatin’!! Crazy wit tha “hard like a ma’fucka!!”
Yeah, Level, “I’m shmokin’ on tha best weed,” straight from tha 1st
verse!! Who ain’t?! So fuckin’
jammin’, here; undeniable!! You really
holdin’ it down on tha verse wit your flow; you’re one of tha best!! So fuckin’
crazy; can’t say it enough!! Holy, fuckin’ charged-up Foxx on tha 2nd
verse, really holdin’ it down, here!!
So fuckin’ hyped up!! This iz why I
have all tha kinds of energy I have and neva back down from a challege!! It’s
y’all; y’all give me this energy!! That’s why, I’ll always support y’all!!! Keepin’ it goin’ wit Chris on tha 3rd
verse, here, comin’ through wit some regular-soundin’ Chris shit… Good fa this,
even tho you & Foxx really held it down!! Still, Hurricane Chris on a really-dope remix!! My Rating: 5.0 (***GENEROUS
RATING!!!***))
03.
“All Da Above” feat. J Trax
Likin’
tha title a lot, especially since that’s how I feel when I’m a celebrity!! “All
da” damn tyme!! J Trax on tha feature and production, here; leggo!!
>>> Really feelin’ tha creepy-kinda beat intro, here! Hook’s
definitely catchy, here; nice shit! Here you come on tha 1st verse,
strictly “purple;” you know!! “28 and I been grown;” can’t believe I’m “28,”
Level! First heard you when I was 19; what’s goin’ on, here?! Can’t wait ta
meet you in tha future! I’m tryna touch down for tha 1st time in tha
Boot/Baton Rouge sometime next year; gotta believe in my dreams!! Tha 2nd
verse’s soundin’ pretty nice; your voice sounds grown, lol! Good shit;
definitely feelin’ how you comin’ through on this as a celebrity! Beat pretty
nice, too, combinin’ witchu! My Rating: 4.4
04.
“Screaming” feat. Racked-Up Ready
Got
Mr. RRR on tha feature, here; who would’ve thought he’d be gone?! Q-Red on tha
beat!! Fuck yeah!!! >>> Definitely some crazy shit wit tha beginning
beat, here! Oh, a Ready sample! This tha 1st time I’m hearin’ a
Ready-sampled song! Good start ta be sampled; I think I can fuck wit these
Ready-sampled tracks! Beat’s definitely on-n-poppin’ and Q-Red a legend!!! Here
you are on tha 1st verse, Level, comin’ through wit “dat 9mm!” Who
would’ve thought I’d have one ta me just weeks before I first heard you?! On
January 23, 2008, it was one of my first hangouts outside of school/college,
and some white dude pulled out a 9mm on me when I went to their apartment, for
tha 2nd time. They were like, “You like this?” I said, “No! Get it away
from me!” Then, he was like, “Fine; I’ll neva do it again!” He has an obsession
wit gunz! You doin’ ya thang on tha 1st verse, here; dumb shit!!
Ooh, a Ready verse fa tha 2nd verse; thought it was just gon be a
sample!! Sounds pretty nice; I’m feelin’ this! Doesn’t sound too sellout-y for
me! My Rating: 4.8
05.
“Drop It Like It Burn” feat. Ace
Only
know one Ace, and that’s Ace from Gardere, mainly known for his feature on
“Hood Song (Dat Lane)”
& from BluBlack’s CDs! We got Ken on tha beat; can’t wait ta see—hear what
I gon hear, here!! >>> Bet it gon be a jammin’ joint, here; definitely
feelin’ tha vibe! Here you are in tha beginning and you got this jammin’ shit
on lock; can’t deny it!! “Tell me what you need!” Yeah, I agree! Any chick I hang
out wit, I always buy them shit—I always
pay for “it!!” Tha hook sounds real jammin’; holy, fuck, lol!! Oh-fuckin’-boy!!
Shit sounds so excellent while fulla dat shit!! Oh, this Ace a female, here?
Not bad; sounds like a Da Brat vs. Iggy Azalea, lol! That’s just my 1st
reaction, but definitely a plus here fa a female!! Long, extended hook ta end
this off! Perfect fa while you’re fulla dat shit!! It feels like it neva ends!!
My Rating: 4.9
06.
“Street Niggaz” feat. Max Minelli & C-Loc
Ooh,
almost thought it was a repeat song from Big Scoob’s new CD, Back 2 Da Streets! His nephew, Koon On
Da Beat’s on tha beat, and it threw me off, lol! So, my anticipation’s pretty
high, with these legends on tha feature!! >>> “Yeah!!!” Here we
fuckin’ go!!! Jammin’, anticipatin’ beat start like it was a Big Scoob track!!
Yeah, tha hook’s definitely fuckin’ tight!! Sounds like classic-soundin’ shit
from you wit how you deliverin’ it! Of course, you holdin’ down tha 1st
verse, here; definitely sick!!! Got Max comin’ through on tha 2nd
verse, soundin’ like he even more evolved, like, level-up even further in tha streetz! And, Loc on tha 3rd
verse, comin’ through like it’s ageless Baton
Rouge music! Of course, gotta respect it at all times!! My Rating: 4.6
07.
“Independent Swagg” feat. Juvenile
Think
I might’ve heard from somewhere else? Either way, I gon treat this like a new
review! Rodnae Da Boss doin’ tha beat! >>> Sounds, like, really
exciting fa a Rodnae production and this hot 27-second beat intro! LOL @ tha
hook; nice job, Level! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it’s
soundin’ pretty nice; you feelin’ tha vibe fa these “be-otch-ez!!” Great/dumb
shit!! Hearin’ Juvie on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through really
fast; can’t deny it!! Classic-soundin’ shit! Classic wit how you breakin’ down
tha bridge/3rd verse, Level!! So fuckin’ classic!! My Rating: 4.6
08.
“Don’t Give A Fuck” feat. Skip
Lookin’
forward ta dis Q-Red production!! >>> That’s a lotta tags in tha
beginning… Oh, I’m feelin’ how you deliverin’ this hook; definitely some dope
shit! Luv your celebrity vibe!! Instant transition to tha 1st verse
from you, here, continuin’ tha crazy-catchy vibe!! And now, transitionin’ to
Skip on tha 2nd verse, slowin’ down tha flow by quite tha amount,
lol! Still, an interestin’ combination! My
Rating: 4.7
½time: And, whataya know? Anotha
critically-acclaimed CD I’m reviewin’!! A whoppin’ 4.7 for tha CD rating!! Talk about
constant bangaz!! Tha Club Banga King
you are, Level!! Of course, A+ production, A+ vibez, A+ features, A+ deliveries,
A+ hooks, A+ verses!!! Good shit!! Let’s keep it goin’!!!
09.
“He Say, She Say” feat. B-Will & Big Poppa
Oh,
I expect this ta be nuts, too, wit Mouse doin’ tha beat, once again!!
>>> Yeah!! Mouse doin’ tha damn thang wit slammin’ these sounds!!
Definitely jammin’ once it hits tha hook! Lol @ how you comin’ through on it,
Level!! Here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some
jammin’, crazy-soundin’ gangsta shit!! Definitely a jammin’-ass hook; you really got pure chemistry wit Mouse On
Tha Track!! B-Will on tha 2nd verse, just spittin’ some good shit.
It’s like a regular voice, which iz ehh, but tha rhymes help it out… LOL @
Poppa on tha 3rd verse, kickin’ it off wit, “Mannnnnnneeeeeeeee!”
Nice/dumb!!! Kinda soundin’ like Cee-Lo Green, now that he’s evolved to 33
years-old! Poppa!! My Rating: 4.4
10.
Skit
Bwahahaha!
Ain’t expect a “skit,” lol! >>> What can be goin’ on…? Sounds like
it’s samplin’ tha old dayz, in tha rain, old music, just vibin’ while it’s
rainin’ out… My Rating: N/A
11.
“Ms. Parker” feat. Mouse On Tha Track & Kango Slim
Ooh,
during these great Heather times,
there’s a new J Buc-produced track!!! Anticipatin’ this one!! Once again, from
tha 225 to tha 504 wit tha features!! >>> Oh, this sounds mysterious
on tha beat intro; fuckin’ lovin’
it!! Just gotta love weed!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!!!!!
Tha hook’s real catchy from you, Level; dumb shit!! J Buc definitely got tha championship ratings comin’!!! Here you are on
tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit dat exciting shit ta hear; gotta
luv it!! Luv how you said, “Shit yeah,” pretty fast; “shit yeah,” lol! Rofl @
Mouse on tha 2nd verse; what a crazy-soundin’ verse!! Just luv his flow—his delivery’s
unbelievable!!! Even tho it’s Kango on tha 3rd verse, it really
sounds like an actual sample. Like, lol, that’s what I thought it was, at
first! Great shit; anotha interestin’ collaboration!! My Rating: 4.8
12.
“Beat Up” feat. Tweeday & Thug Brothers
Can’t
wait ta hear this crazy, hyped-up collaboration!! Koon doin’ anotha track fa
you, Level!! Exciting!!! >>> What an intro—oh wait, a hook!! Volume
sounds kinda quieter, here, but tha vibe’s here; that’s all that matters! Good
shit comin’ from you on tha 1st verse, Level! Definitely feelin’ it!
I remember when all these rappers I randomly discovered on MySpace, or
discovered me (Tweeday). It’s like, who would’ve thought y’all would reach
collaboration status?! Shit’s definitely on-n-poppin’ wit this energy from tha
2nd verse, here!! And, keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 3rd
verse, here, always not “hard ta find!”
Always feelin’ tha dark beat vibe and how tha Thug Brothers hold it down on tha
verse; definitely pure!! Y’all kept about 11 seconds of silence on this bitch,
at tha end, lol; random… My Rating: 4.7
13.
“Street Shit” feat. Spitta & G-Nate
Can’t
wait ta hear this one, produced by EQ!! Anticipation at all timez!!! >>> Sounds like a serious beat intro; fuckin’
luvin’ this shit, right now!!!
Excellent hook, here; luv how it sounds!! Definitely defines tha vibe/setting
for tha streetz!! Here you are on tha
1st verse, Lev, comin’ through wit dat crazy “shit,” with those pure
keys in tha background!! Such a fuckin’ jam, despite bein’ for tha streetz!! We got Spit on tha 2nd
verse, here, comin’ through wit his usual; gotta feel it! Spit it like it iz, Spit!! Keepin’ it goin’ wit Nate on tha 3rd
verse, comin’ through wit some great “street shit!” His voice kinda plain like
B-Will, but it’s still nice ta have him as a collaborator! My Rating: 4.7
14.
“I Know You Want It”
Ewe,
no producer?! I can’t think of what this can be!! >>> Oh, an uncredited Koon on tha beat, here! Nice
surprise! Beat sounds pretty nice, of course; definitely some pure street/club shit! Catchy hook, too;
nice! Good shit wit tha 1st verse, here! Excellent flow and really
layin’ it down in tha bed, once again! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and tha
line, “Don’t kiss yo girl, my dick up in there,” that repeated literally
reminded me of “Uptown Funk”, lol; sounds similar wit tha flow, lol. Nice job
wit tha rest of this shit! My Rating: 4.3
15.
“Paper Route”
feat. B-Real & Ronnie Rap Game
Who’s Ronnie Rap Game, lol? OMG, right when they
change tha way to bake at work, as well as me havin’ anxiety to get off on
Percy Keith’s birthday (August 18), B-Real’s here! Even on tha beat! Oh, in my
zone, too! I think I need to find food before I go inta this one!! *Finds
something…* Aight, I’m back! Oh, B-Real, when will you reconnect wit me?! Just
mailed my new CD off today to him, Big Wayne, his mom & their brother,
Justin Dabney; hope they enjoy it! I also wrote a letter to B-Real & his
mom, stating that we should reconnect, especially since tha one-year of my
brother’s passing just passed. There’s no time left for beefin’! It’s been 2 ½
years; so much has happened in my life!! With that bein’ said, let’s do dis!!!
>>> *Screams* “Fuck this!!!” Naw, when I say that, I feel funny!
Shit’s so fuckin’ pure!! Gotta luv B-Real on tha hook!! He made me $52,000
richer!!! Tha money and status continuin’ ta rise wit me, thanx ta him!! He
really got shit on lock!! He missin’ out on too many of my ventures, tho! But,
anyway, here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit dat tight
shit! Luvin’ tha rhymes and how you comin’ through wit how you deliver this
shit! Definitely tha place ta be: Level’s life!! Think: I worked from 4 AM – 2
PM & 5 PM – 9 PM last Sunday! And, 4 AM – 2 PM & 7:40 PM – 12:18 AM
this past Sunday! Where’d all that work ethic start from?! B-Real!!! Who would
work 14.91 hours in a day?! Me!! Got Ronnie on tha 2nd verse and he
sounds catchy on this, fa some1 I neva heard of, before! Good shit! Ooh, even
more ta this! A 3rd verse! Must be a group? Sounds betta than tha 2nd
verse; really feelin’ this fastness!! Gotta appreciate this while you can!!
Just think of this luv: B-Real still has me blocked, but his “Turnt Up”’s
chartin’ on my playlist, like, right now!! Why would I play some1 who can’t
stand me?! It’s all about thinkin’ positive!!!
My Rating: 4.9
16.
“Bootin’”
Just
like tha Boot, itself, you “bootin’!”
I feel dat!! No producer listed & only 2:12 on tha length? >>>
Sounds like it gon be excitin’!! Okay, Q-Red on tha beat! No producers listed
‘cause no features listed? I’ont get it, but definitely a surprise!! Feelin’
how you have tha energy on tha short hook, as well as this crazy 1st
verse!! Lol @ tha line, “Middle fingaz up like, ‘Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!’!” Tha
2nd verse sounds jammin’ as fuck, too; undeniable!! Unbelievable!! My Rating: 4.5
17.
“Still Jiggin’” feat. Da Jiggalaters
I’m
like, “I know this was on two CDs;” how’d I hear two, already? Now, I realize!
Big Scoob & Sam I Am! Now, Level!! Anyway, Q-Red on tha beat, here!! Almost
thought that was him on tha pre-hook but it’s Sam I Am with you, Level, ya
dig?! Ooh, you tearin’ up tha hook, here!! Really diggin’ tha “Roll On” shit
from tha Big Tymers on tha sample, too!! And, we got you on tha 1st
verse, comin’ through wit tha “pillz,” as you eat “‘em all at tha dinner table!” Yeah, Level!! “2016;” it’s
official!!! Definitely a sick 1st verse ta vibe to at all times!! And, it’s wild, here, wit
Sam I Am on tha 2nd verse!! He anotha dude I first heard on February
16—might’ve been 17th, 2008 ‘cause that review I done did, Big Jay’s
Pyrex Radio Vol. 4: From Crumbz 2 Brickz,
took me two dayz ta review ‘cause I was reviewin’ a CD a month, back then! Dope
shit on tha 2nd verse, includin’ when I heard D-So & them do
they thang, too! Definitely dope shit from Scoob on tha 3rd verse,
here!! It’s all about bein’ tha most resistant and consistent!! Keepin’ this
shit goin’ wit T-Lo on tha final part, here! Dumb shit, especially when two
months ago, tha Jukebox Challenge featured my radio edit to T-Lo’s “All Day”,
with my dog bark in tha beginning!! My
Current Rating: 5.0
Overall: Wow!! Anotha critically
acclaim review by ya boy, FrankieThaLuckyDog a.k.a. Frank Calhoune!! Level, you

where I get all my energy from!! I just sent that Heather chick a video of me
jammin’ to your “Hit Dat (Remix)” that I filmed of myself a few weeks ago,
showin’ off where I get all my energy from!! You’re tha definition of energy,
Level!! Tha most-energetic rapper of all-time

Review #1,515: Joey Jihad "Yola Back"
Reviewed on 8.02.2016 (Review #1,515)
Time
fa anotha review! This one’s from North Philly’s Joey Jihad Yola Back! I
found out about this from my boy, Juice, from Philly, who I went to tha Lack
with. He posted on Instagram that he was bumpin’ this CD and I had to go look
for it! Fa those of y’all that don’t know, Joey Jihad, I first heard in
February of 2008 with his Tha Big Dog
Yard mixtape. I first got word of who he really was on March 13, 2008 @
5:01 PM from my boy, Juice. His song, “Bossman”, with Meek Mill, really caught
on with me and later became my favorite rap song I eva came across! That was
tha 1st time I heard of Meek Mill and who knew he would be so
popular today? From that day in tha dorms in Scranton, PA,
it was on-n-poppin’!! Reviewin’ Haddy even caught on in 2014, when on April 6,
2014, I went to Philly to visit fellow rapper, HH Spady. I interviewed him,
drove around wit him, shmoked us some good & then, tha interview hit
YouTube:
Great
day, even though we had a fallin’ out. I was young at tha time of my
decision-making… But, now, let’s see how this goes… BTW, why tha private
Instagram? Artists shouldn’t have they shit private!! Start Time: 7:08 / 7:45 PM | End

“Yola Back”
Comeback song, here, after you were locked up! Yeah, you were locked up when I came down to Philly that day; imagine if we met? That would’ve been awesome! I’ono when I would be back around but I can’t wait till we meet up, one day, on this music shit! Let’s see how your comeback song gon do, produced by Jumbo Beatz… >>> I’m feelin’ excited fa this; can’t wait ta hear!! Voice sounds completely different from eight years ago—can’t believe it was that long ago since Tha Big Dog Yard!! First impression, I may be thrown off by tha voice effects, at times, but I think if I was still in that mindset with Juice bumpin’ tha music outta nowhere, I prolly would say that I’m really feelin’ this. With that bein’ said, I think I’m definitely diggin’ this. This does need one thing, though! *Pauses at 1:20 to light up tha bowl…* Aight, I decided to rewind it. Keepin’ my previous feedback, but definitely am givin’ it props, right now!! Excellent-soundin’ come”back”!! Just sounds like crazy rhymes; can’t deny it!! Yeah, people may hate on it a lil’ more than tha previous music you released, but this iz still quality and catchiness at its finest, fa me!! I’ont care if bein’ high can cheat tha ratings; it’s a rating! My rating for this moment!! Could this be one of tha most-classic songs of this year?! We shall see!! Instant add fa me!!! My Rating: 4.8

Tha dude I’m talkin’ about delivers donuts where I’m at. We were cool at one
point but he takes showin’ luv a different way. I’m autistic, so when I say
things, I get looked at tha wrong way. It’s like, I’m only showin’ luv; nothin’
else! Let’s see how this one gon go, produced by Atoduh, himself… >>> Beat
sounds unique; definitely diggin’ tha production… Kinda sounds mainstream, but
at tha same time, it’s still nice. Hearin’ tha 1st verse from you,
Haddy, and it’s soundin’ great ta hear; nice voice! Makes me like it more than
I thought I would, from hearin’ tha hook! Nice way you delivered tha 1st
verse; lots of street shit bein’ spit! How about, speakin’ of guns and shit, I
thought I heard a gunshot in tha air about 10 minutes ago! Random?! When tha
hell I hear dem go off?! Anyway, hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s
soundin’ consistent wit tha rappin’! Also, definitely feelin’ these
“jab-jabbin’” lyrics (what I mean by that iz that they hit you, fast,
consistently)!! Overall, I’m diggin’ this; definitely feelin’ it, when I
thought it was gon be decent!! My
Rating: 4.5
03.
“Lighter Lighter”
Anotha
Atoduh beat; this looks anticipatin’… >>> Yeah, a trippy beat start!!
Oh, wow, this iz you!! Wow, I’m really feelin’ tha fast rappin’ ova this
trippy-ass beat!! Makes me feel like I’m lost in tha woods; dumb shit!! Gotta
luv it!! And, it’s only 2:18 on tha length!! This sounds like tha older you on
tha voice and how you comin’ through wit this shit!! Definitely classic, tha
way I love it!! Might even be better than tha “Yola Back”; holy fuck!!! I’m so fuckin’ glad I got nice and fulla dat
shit fa this review!! It had been five dayz!! Just feelin’ tha 2nd
verse to tha fullest; A+ rhymes!! Seemed like this joint lasted fa’eva…, and, not even two minutes have went by!!!
Wow, definitely catchy and hot, to
tha fullest!!! My Rating: 5.0
04.
“Forever Up”
Anotha
Jumbo Beatz production, here… >>> OMG, it sounds like Super Mario RPG
on tha intro beat, here! It’s ironic ‘cause I got ta play Super Mario RPG when I was reviewin’ tha Tha Big Dog Yard mixtape; wow!! Definitely addictin’, here,
especially with this beat!! “She had me eat her groceries;” wow!! I’m really
feelin’ that line; go, Haddy!! Can’t believe you’re back and outta jail!!
Would’ve loved to meet you two years ago when I went to Philly to meet HH
Spady! Really feelin’ this consistent, crazy-type of rappin’!! Sooooooooo consistent wit tha sound; definitely in tha right zone!!! We’re gettin’ up there in age!! Can’t believe I’m 28;
I was 19 when I first heard you!! Great job on tha 1st verse wit how
you came through wit tha consistency! Tha 2nd verse don’t stop, too;
definitely nice wit this hook! Tha
beat just goes tooooooooo fuckin’
hard!!! Tha 3rd verse’s definitely
crazy wit how you just keep rappin’ and rappin’ and rappin’ and rappin’ and
rappin’ and rappin’!!! It’s just somethin’ in how you deliver this shit that’s so crazy!! My Rating: 4.9
05.
“44 Bars”
Atoduh
on tha beat… >>> Consistency at its finest!! I don’t see no mainstream
in this sound; I’m still feelin’ it as much as I did your music, back in tha
day! Oh, hearin’ tha beat kick in and, wow, it sounds like really-old rap
music!! It’s like tha ‘90s, here, in a way; dumb shit!! Holy, fuck, you don’t
stop!! “44 Bars”? Only a minute went by?! Seemed like you spit
21374023847230482730423748032847 rhymes in a fuckin’ minute!!! Holy, fuck, at
1:16; insane!!!!! ROFL, it don’t
stop!!! What a fuckin’ excellent
present to do after a day of crazy work!! A Joey Jihad review!!! My Rating: 4.9
06.
“Week Ago” feat. Deezy
This
one’s produced by CheckMate; let’s see… Random guess, but a spinoff of Bobby
Shmurda’s song? >>> Feels like magical music, outta nowhere;
definitely catchy! This hook sounds nice ta hear wit tha “week ago” shit;
definitely catchy, non-stop!! I’ve always loved tha Bobby Shmurda line/song and
this goes good as a sequel! Nice East Coast-soundin’ beat and Deezy does tha
damn thang on tha hook! Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ pretty nice with
you holdin’ it down!! Good shit! Definitely consistent at its finest!! Really
feelin’ tha 2nd verse, here; such fiya!! Can’t believe a year ago
today, I did a live review fa ATL rapper, Trouble, and his #ZayDidIt mixtape at tha abandoned Kings Park Psychiatric Center.
I chickened-out with climbin’ tha water tower ta review one of tha songs. Then,
tha next day, I topped tha water tower ‘cause I was that brave!! Look, a year
later: This review!! Definitely feelin’ tha 3rd verse, here, from
Deezy; good shit! Luv how he has that Philly-styled rappin’ with tha voice; definitely diggin’ it! Wow,
can’t believe this joint’s five ½-minutes long! Doesn’t bore, doesn’t drag!! My Rating: 4.4
07.
“IDC”
Jumbo
Beatz, again… >>> Let’s see what gon come outta these auto-tuned vocals;
hope it ain’t too bad… I figured this was “I
Don’t Care”; correct guess! Well, not sayin’ I’m dick-ridin’ or
anything, but I’m really feelin’ this fa an auto-tuned song!! Somethin’ about
tha consistent way you deliver this shit and don’t stop!! You just have that spice!! Even you can mention “Fergalicious” in a rhyme and it not be wack; dumb shit!! Even when you
say that title on tha hook, I feel like it’s so catchy, but entertainin’ at its
finest!! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s pretty nice; lovin’ tha
consistency, once again!! You’re unstoppable!! You’re undeniable!! I can’t
believe this review’s happenin’, right now!! It’s like somethin’ we really needed during this year!!! Wow @
how you comin’ through wit tha end of tha 2nd verse!! Yeah, people
can get real annoyed with your voice, here, but it goes hard fa me!! My Rating: 4.7
½time: Last time, on Tha Big Dog Yard, tha average CD rating
was a whopping 4.6, for a 2008 CD! There were two ***PERFECT-RATED*** jointz
and nothin’ under 4.1! Now, with this one, HOLY
FUCK!!! Can’t believe how unbelievable this iz soundin’!!! One
***PERFECT-RATED*** joint and a 4.7 average CD rating!!! Tha Big Dog Yard’s total score was 27.4 for tha ½time (seven
jointz) and this iz leadin’ by a whoppin’ 5.8 points, 33.2 total score, with
seven jointz altogether!! I’m so proud of my talents and so glad to keep this
review shit goin’!! My 1,515th review!! Tha Big Dog Yard was only my 79th review!!! Gotta
continue bein’ celebrities!!
08.
“Stick Up Kid”
DJ
Swift doin’ tha production on this one; how will it go? >>> Ugh,
anotha auto-tuned song, but I gon try and be nice… Definitely not feelin’ tha
background vocals of random auto-tuned sound effects, tryna be gangsta… This 1st
verse, which I almost thought was a feature, ain’t that bad, despite tha
background… As far as this hook, I’ono… I’m feelin’ 50/50, here, as I’m in a
great mood ta enjoy your music, no matter what, but still feel a lil’ annoyed
by how you sound, with tha voice… Still, definitely feelin’ tha way you comin’
through on tha 2nd verse with your catchy rhymes! Tha 3rd
verse’s pretty nice; I like tha “Jet Life” rhyme in reference ta “Curren$y.”
Tha rest of tha verse kinda reminds me of tha 1st verse, as tha 2nd
one seemed betta… I’ono, takin’ a huge drop in tha ratings fa me, here… My Rating: 3.0
09.
“Shmugga” feat. OT
Jumbo
Beatz on this production; let’s see what it do… >>> We need a
comeback! Okay, at least we have a normal voice, here!! Feelin’ tha paranoia in
tha beginning! Ooh, really lovin’
this hook!! Definitely catchy; you so
fast wit it!!! Holy, fuck, fuck, fuck,
fuck, fuck!!! What craziness!!! Definitely needed it!! It’s sometimes scary
ta know that I’ve been doin’ reviewz fa 10 fuckin’ years!! Like, Tha Big Dog Yard, I was only two years
in!! Holy fuck, where’d tha time go?!? Excellent-soundin’ 1st verse;
so fuckin’ consistent and tight!!!
Holy, fuck!! This tha perfect kinda music ta enjoy while high!! I trusted tha
anticipation and I was right!! Hearin’ OT on tha 2nd verse and, wow,
consistent in a unique way!! Can tell this dude on some celebrity-type shit!
It’s like, we live it when we’re celebrities!! You just have that programmed
into you that you’re a celebrity!! I can’t believe I’m one; I made myself one!!
Fuckin’ love it!! My Rating: 4.9
10.
“T.I.W.T.G.S.”
Wonder
what this acronym stands for? Brandon Lee doin’ this production… >>> Sounds
like a long beat intro…; I’m feelin’ more anticipated ‘cause I wanna hear it,
already, lol! “Send you like a envelope;” dope! Beat can be kinda plain, but
its underground vibe makes me appreciate it more! Great shit comin’ outta this
1st verse; gotta love livin’ tha life of a celebrity!! Nice job wit
tha 1st verse! Hook sounds like an uncredited feature? Nice hook!
Here you are on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some dope shit!
It’s all about keepin’ it gangsta, holdin’ yo hood down!! I like how you used
“Fetty Wap”’s name as somethin’ you earn, on tha 2nd verse; nice!
And, I’ono if it’s ‘cause I’m stoned, but did I not hear what tha title stood
for? LOL! My Rating: 4.4
11.
“All The Way Up (Freestyle)”
How
will it go? Can you handle it like tha “Weatherman (Freestyle)”, which got a
4.6? I doubt it’ll be as great as that, but we shall see! >>> Yeah, a
decent original version that’s gettin’ so much play, now. This freestyle sounds
nice ta hear, as a bonus; good shit! Definitely feelin’ how you comin’ through
with this, “finna make tha news!” “Martin was tha King, but his dream got him
killed;” excellent line, right there!! Yeah, dreams can get you “killed,” sadly. Then again, I’m chasin’ my
dreams and neva backin’ down from ‘em!! I thought this wasn’t that bad fa a
freestyle but yeah, “Weatherman (Freestyle)” all tha way!! My Rating: 4.0
12.
“Soul Glow”
Flight
Beats on tha production, here… >>> Uh oh, here we go with tha
auto-tuned start… Feelin’ tha really quiet beat intro, here, but it’s really
remindin’ me of PnB Rock on tha voice!
“Fleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!!” Like, not here!! Kinda diggin’ tha
intro a lil’ more now that it sounds a lil’ like a normal voice… Tha hook’s
pretty nice; definitely feelin’ how this beat backs you up! Ehh, afta about a
minute, here’s tha 1st verse and your voice kinda fucked up… Still,
I don’t mind enjoyin’ this, right now! It wasn’t too bad of a verse, overall;
definitely feelin’ what you bringin’ to tha table! Tha 2nd verse’s
soundin’ nice; kinda on a decent level fa me, tho… Okay, it’s pickin’ up at
3:01; sounds like you got fully energized from wakin’ up! Overall, I think this
on tha decent level fa me… My Rating: 3.9
13.
“HEAT” feat. Snoupe
Capital
letters, here, with a Snoupe on tha feature… I’m not sure what ta expect…;
Jumbo Beatz on tha beat… >>> Beat sounds nice; this sounds like it’s
goin’ to be nice… You definitely comin’ through wit tha catchy hooks; gotta feel
that “HEAT!” Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ nice ta hear; regular-paced
rappin’, here, as it’s not bad… Wouldn’t’ve thought you’d spit, “Wit my dick up
in her mouth…,” since I always thought everything you was gon spit was strictly
for tha streetz and not tha ladies. Then again, it’s all good; ain’t nothin’
wrong wit that line! Hearin’ tha Snoupe dude on tha 2nd verse and
it’s like laidback but fast. “Laidback” as in a smooth-soundin’ voice, but fast
with tha pace it’s rapped in! Nice job, y’all!! My Rating: 4.3
14.
“Monster (Freestyle)”
Jahlil
Beats on tha beat ta end this off; almost thought that was tha Jumbo Beatz
dude, at first, when I seen tha name… >>> Feelin’ excited fa this
beginning, fa some reason… Oh, lol, goin’ up against Meek, here! Rappin’ ova his
beat from last year! I still think you sound great on this! It’s like, Meek
attempted ta sound great till everythang was just about “tha money” who “turned
[him] to a monster!” It’s like, what about my review?! I done reviewed his shit
before, where as when you were on tha tracks, Haddy, you ***PERFECT-RATED***
him!! You did!! You ***PERFECT-RATED*** him!! Like I said, you guys sound
consistent on tha rhymin’, here, but Haddy gets this one, easily, since he
ain’t spittin’ “money, money, money, money, money,” non-stop! Tha 2nd
verse’s soundin’ pretty nice, at first. Kinda sounds like you’re tryna get a
lil’ glamorous wit tha lyrics in tha verse… I’ono, don’t sell out like Meek;
neva! You’ll always be respected by us: tha streetz! Tha undaground! My Rating: 3.8
Overall: Wow, unbelievable tape!!! Talk about an official comeback!!! I recorded tha “Forever Up” joint live on
camera, which I gon upload tha live review to YouTube, soon! I’m still highly
impressed by your rapid-fire rhymin’, your catchy deliveries, your street
content, your crazy rappin’ skillz & how you come through wit these fiya
tracks!! Most of this shit was on point!! Let’s see how we did for tha
rankings!

Review #1,514: YB "Self Investment (Hosted by $hop With Ken)"
Reviewed on 8.01.2016 (Review #1,514)
Feelin’
kinda outta it, after workin’ 4 AM – 2 PM & then, 7:40 PM – 12:18 AM,
yesterday. It’s almost like this day off of mine flies by… But, guess I gon
have ta enjoy it with reviewz? Got YB
up now with Self Investment (Hosted by $hop With Ken), courtesy of Self
Investment Inc.! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’! Almost thought it was an older
release but it’s a new one! Start Time:
3:46 PM | End Time: 5:04 PM
Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!
I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long
as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and
then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a
song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6
rating, I pretty much really love it,
as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I
hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type
before “ >>> “ iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything
after I type “ >>> “ iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening
to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or
talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

Intro ($hop With Ken Speaks)
Let’s
hear it! >>> Wouldn’t’ve guessed it was your voice, at first, but it
sounds nice with this intro beat… My
Rating: N/A
02.
“Lord I Just Wanna Know”
I’m
also kinda outta it with my mood, right now, but I think this gon be on some
next-level shit! $hop With Ken production… >>> Yeah, definitely pure;
I can’t wait ta hear this whole entire CD!! Feelin’ tha different-than-usual
voice, here, comin’ through wit tha catchy hook ova this Baton Rouge-soundin’
beat! Pure vibes at its finest! Good shit on tha 1st verse, comin’
through wit that shit to get through life… As much as I love workin’, it’s
really ruinin’ my happiness. Like, do I need to work 49 hours a week, six dayz
a week? I have almost no time fa
nothin’!! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, here, just like tha 1st
verse! That’s right: “Gotta eat, too!” I just helped a Baton Rouge rapper out a lil’ over a week
ago! It’s like, if I’m eatin’, they eatin’! Cold ending? No extra hook?
Nice, tho! My Rating: 4.4
03.
“Dem Hands” feat. Scotty Cain, $hop With Ken & Lil’ Juan
Yeah!
$hop With Ken & Nunu James on tha beat! >>> Yeah! We got a club
vs. street-type banga, here; good hook! Definitely feelin’ tha energetic vibe
in tha beat, here; gotta luv it!! Nice job wit tha hook, Y-Bizzle! Got tha 1st
verse goin’ on, here, comin’ through wit dat hot shit! Nice 1st ½ of
tha 1st verse from Scotty and now, Ken on tha 2nd ½ of
tha 1st verse; definitely nice! Gotta luv when he raps!! Can’t wait
fa that day when “lean” enters my life! Weed definitely took over in a nice
way! I look at music differently! Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 2nd
verse, here, as you’re comin’ through wit dat energy! I almost thought this was
gon be a song about money, money, money, but it’s all about layin’ down “dem
hands!” Continuin’ wit tha 3rd verse from Juan, here, spittin’
consistent rhymes at its finest! Nice beat outro, here; not a cold-cold ending,
lol! My Rating: 4.7
04.
“Wake Up, Po Up”
Ken
on da beat, again! >>> “Oh!” I’m feelin’ excited fa this start, here;
can’t wait ta hear! Really slow delivery on tha 1st verse, here;
kinda sounds like today’s rappers with that slow flow… Now that tha beat kicked
in, it sounds betta wit you comin’ through wit your slizzard-type rhymes; good
shit! Tha hook sounds nice; gotta “pass out” wit dat feelin’! I ain’t get ta
dat feelin’ wit tha “drank,” yet, but I’ve definitely gotten to it wit weed,
geeb (gravity bong) hits & edibles! Tha feelin’ feels like it neva ends!
Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 2nd verse and yeah, “You betta not spill
it;” dumb shit! “Shit’s so purple, looks like Barney took a piss in my cup!”
Gotta luv what you came up with there, YB!! Much faster with tha flow on tha 3rd
verse, here; what a flow-changin’ song right chea!! Kinda diggin’ how you
surprise me wit tha pace of tha flows on tha verses! “Whoooooooooo!! Drug
life!!” Nice ending!! My Rating: 4.6
05.
“When I Was Down” feat. Vintage Rippah & Li’ Rob
Keepin’
tha Ken productions goin’ (bet he produced tha whole entire CD)! >>> Sounds
like it gon be an excitin’ joint based off tha beginning beat… Hearin’ tha hook
and it’s pretty catchy wit this beat! “I get drugged down”? You already know!
My #01 addiction? Working!! Who works 14.91 inconsistent hours in a day,
without knowin’?! Me! Crazy shit! Got tha 1st verse, here, soundin’
nice on this catchy joint… Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ nice, too;
definitely feelin’ this voice fa this drugged-type
shit!
”Xan barz got me up, actin’.” It’s like, who would’ve thought coffee would keep me active at work? Also, when I go to New York? Great! Tha 3rd verse’s even betta; diggin’ this fast-paced rappin’! Definitely southern at its finest, here! Luv tha rhymin’ letters! Tha “B.o.B.” shit with “Grand Hustle” and all those letters definitely nice!! My Rating: 4.3
06.
Skit 1 (Durty South E Speaks)
Even
this skit’s produced by Ken, too! >>> Nice lil’ background music with
this on-tha-air-like broadcast! Yeah, this shit’s definitely nice! “Steaming hot bowel movement;” holy!! “We got
ammunition fa yo ass and yo asshole!” LOL! Gotta luv it! I talk like that, too;
instant shit!! My Rating: N/A
07.
“Run Up A Check”
Kentacular!
>>> “Forever Young!” F.Y.N.I.C.! I don’t really go for these kinda
songs, so we’ll see how this goes… I’m really likin’ tha beat intro and how
you’re comin’ through on tha intro… Yeah, tha hook’s kinda ehh, but I’m feelin’
it! It’s sad how I’m like this with my job! I neva felt like I was working for
a “check,” but it seems like I’m addicted ta takin’ care of my job! It’s like,
they don’t give me hours ‘cause of a “check!” They give me hours ‘cause we’re
short-handed! With that bein’ said, it sounds like a lotta yada-yada,
random-like rappin’ on tha 1st verse, here; I’ve heard betta… Shit,
a ton of rappin’ on tha 2nd verse, here… It’s like, what’s goin’ on,
lol? My Rating: 4.0
08.
“Birthplace”
I
remember this one! Kentastic!! Reviewed tha previous CD, Dedication Of Honor, last year, on July 29; this falls on August 1,
2016! Here goes that previous review:
“Really
hot beat intro, despite bein’ very
influenced by DJ Mustard (e.g., “Left, Right” by YG)… Wow, this really sounds
like that song and “Thinkin’ With My Dick” (Kevin Gates & Juicy J) on tha
hook, but it’s original production from Ken! Really diggin’ tha hook and this
sounds catchy, just like a great 1st single from this CD! Hearin’
tha 1st verse from you and it’s consistent with how you do it on tha
beat! I can tolerate this “ass-shakin’” anthem and even tha money shit on tha
hook! Damn @ tha 2nd verse; you don’t stop!! Just really diggin’
this anthem!! Nice job wit that bridge, or 3rd verse—whateva you
wanna call it! Got a lot ta offer, here! And, nice beat outro ta end it off!
Could possibly be somethin’ I consider for an add on my playlist? I’ono… We’ll
see what mood I’m in, despite me fallin’ off from Louisiana, lately…”
This
missed bein’ an add with me, last year. That’s prolly ‘cause I was too focused
on lil’ girls at my job with “starting breaks,” avoiding a bunch of Louisiana artists,
buyin’ co-workers cars & all that bullshit, smh! Louisiana’ll always be in tha veins!!! My
Current Rating: 4.8
09.
“Reppin’ Like You Steppin’” feat. Scotty Cain, Lee Banks & Li’ Rob
“Steppin’”
down from Ken’s production with a Vintage Rippah one, here… >>> Not
diggin’ tha beat tag outta nowhere, but it’s a nice lil’ beat fa this… This
sounds like some nice lil’ undaground shit fa Baton Rouge, here… I’m feelin’ how you’re
comin’ through on tha hook wit that dumb shit—dat street shit! Here you are on
tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit consistent rhymin’!! Definitely
some nice shit; really feelin’ tha flow of rhymin’ way more than “Run Up A
Check”! Holy, crazy beat sounds
before tha 2nd hook!! Very consistent; marry tha beat!! Tha 2nd
verse iz comin’ from Scotty Cain, here, comin’ through wit dat consistent
rappin’ fa tha Rouge; definitely nice ova this beat! Great shit from Lee Banks
on tha 3rd verse, here, comin’ through wit dat G-shit at its
finest!! Definitely feelin’ him to tha max when tha beat goes nuts, before tha
verse ends!! Here comes a 4th verse, here, from Rob, comin’ through
wit some paranoid-type shit. “Stayin’ in tha house;” I used ta be like dat but
now, I need ta get out! It’s almost
like why these reviewz are delayed a lil’… Either way, definitely some dumb
shit to tha max, here!! My Rating: 4.6
10.
“Broski’s” feat. Tazz
First
time seein’ this as a title, includin’ with an apostrophe. I usually don’t
spell plural forms of words with apostrophes, but I’ll let this one slide, for
now… Ken on da beat! >>> Really slow start, but I’m really feelin’ tha
bass in this beat, this time! Really lovin’ hoooooooooow
yoooooooooou delivvvvvvvvvvver tha hook, especially that title! Yeah,
definitely diggin’ this title/tha word, “Broski!” Definitely an excellent hook;
you easily pass any test!! Here you
are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some nice shit, wit patnaz
always holdin’ it down fa each other… Unfortunately, I don’t believe in any of
dat ‘cause no1 really has my back like I have others’… It’ll prolly be like
that till tha day I die, but I learned one thing: I tried ta make money off
this music shit but instead, I gon be payin’ my favorite artists, instead! I
feel like they deserve rewards! Not just awards,
but rewards! Thought I would feel tha
Tazz dude a lil’ more on tha 2nd verse, here, but he reminds me way
too much of Ty Dolla $ign with how he sounds/delivers/sings his rhymes… Either
way, can’t complain about this joint, overall… Kinda sucks how this gon rank
way behind a bunch of jointz on here… Kinda long, overall? Ain’t thank it was
gon be 4:53! My Rating: 4.3
11.
“Dirty Dinero”
Lots
of jointz on this tape!! Ken got anotha one!! >>> What can I say, so
far…? Hmm… It sounds like you got tha energy on this one; definitely nice wit
how you comin’ wit it! Definitely diggin’ this catchy hook! It may be about
money but this heavy bass and how you say tha title’s definitely catchin’ on
wit me! Lots of random rappin’ on tha 2nd verse, here, like tha “Run
Up A Check” joint… My Rating: 4.1
½time: This tape’s definitely got a ton of heat on it, just
like I expected!! Tha beats are pure;
tha rhymes are definitely nice; tha
collabz are definitely sick!! What
more can I say?! A 4.4-rated CD, so far; gotta luv it!! Keep this
shit goin’!! Anotha 12 jointz!!
12.
“Yungin Fasho” feat. $hop With Ken
Can’t
wait ta hear, as always! Kentastic!! >>> A Ken intro/straight to tha 1st
verse, here; gotta luv it! Tha beat’s pretty nice and yeah, gotta luv Ken’s
“diamonds in [his] teeth!” I used his teeth—well, anyone’s—as an expression to
describe how I feel about when people hate/get jealous of me at my job! Tha
hook sounds nice from YB; good shit! Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 2nd
verse, here… Ehh, kinda random like tha last song’s rhymin’; I expected betta…
Ken gets tha crown on this one; definitely nice, especially comin’ through on
tha 1st and not 2nd verse… A beat outro, here, as well as
a siren…; nice! My Rating: 4.0

Skit 2 (Durty South E Speaks)
Anotha
Ken production! Anotha skit!! >>> A fast beat start before tha radio
announcement comes through… Damn! A 4:02-length skit? Still, it sounds nice ta
hear… Beat kinda sounds like a Jeezy-type beat in tha background; nice… I’ont
get how dudes, like one of my boyz, can just make out wit one chick from NY
that he neva met, but people won’t buy my CD on tha spot? I’ont get it? “Smells
like asshole;” of course, who don’t like tha smell of shit? I do!! My pre-weed
since 13!! Wonder what was reversed? I can check it, but I’ont feel like
checkin’ it, at tha moment… My Rating:
N/A

“1 Call Away” feat. Aerie
I
have a feelin’ this gon be my least-favorite track on here… Was thinkin’ it was
gon be a Charlie Puth remake, but there’s Ken on tha beat, so there could be a
chance… >>> Beat’s real hot, here, with these sounds outta nowhere…
Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it’s semi-random with tha rappin’,
but it sounds good ta hear! I’ono if I can feel this hook, but it’s not bad;
kinda sounds like a random chick… Almost thought it was Dat Boy A’s chick…
Aerie even has a verse on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through, just
keepin’ tha vibe goin’… I prolly would’ve rather her just be on tha hook and
you have anotha verse, Y-Bizzle; kinda draggin’… My Rating: 3.8
15.
“Flexico City”
!
! ! ! ! K E N ! ! ! ! ! >>> A shorter joint, here, with 2:39 on tha
length! Tha beat sounds pretty nice and you’re comin’ through wit some nice
shit on tha 1st verse! You’ll go down in history as one of my
younginz! I’m five years older than you and I’ve been followin’ you since day
1; that ain’t gon change! Tha hook sounds pretty nice and regular for a hook
about gunz. I honestly thought it was gon be about flexin’ err-where, lol… Beat kinda went in tha background and there
was only one verse… I’m likin’ how this was set up, altogether; nice! My Rating: 4.0
16.
“Fugazi” feat. Razy Ray
More
Ken heat!! >>> This sounds like a catchy one; think you got a winna,
here! Definitely diggin’ tha hook, as well as tha how you deliver it! Nice,
deep-soundin’ southern beat!! Nice job wit tha 1st verse, here,
Bizzle! Now, we got a new dude, here (Razy Ray), comin’ through, feelin’ like
tha next fresh boy out there… We’ll have to see how his career gon go; this a
nice start, tho! My Rating: 4.2
17.
“What’s Your Purpose”
No features and produced by Prince GT… >>> Beat sounds like a regular southern-type beat, here… Tha hook ain’t too bad; I’m kinda diggin’ this title and how this sounds… Let’s see how we gon do on tha verses… Here’s tha 1st verse and one of those sound effects once tha verse started sounded familiar… Wow, this was a short joint; not bad… My Rating: 3.9

“Go Hard”
Continuin’!!
Back to dem Ken onez!! >>> Sounds like a catchy joint, here, with this
beat from Ken! Nice beginning, here! I’m diggin’ this hook; you definitely sound like a nice influence ta make artists “go
hard!” Good shit; definitely diggin’ tha hook, Bizzle! Tha 1st verse
sounds nice, here, as you’re consistently deliverin’ some rhymes, here; good
shit! And now, you got tha fast rappin’ goin’ on with tha 2nd verse;
I’ono, but I’ll give it credit, this time! My
Rating: 4.3

“We Good”
Kentacular!!
>>> Kinda sounds interesting with this beat start, here; let’s see
what gon come outta this one… Tha rhymes from you on tha 1st verse
sounds nice; feelin’ tha real-life-type shit on this kinda beat… Tha hook ain’t
too bad, here… Yeah, fuck tha “labels;” gotta get it out tha mud! Tha 2nd
verse’s soundin’ nice, too; gotta keep it real! My Rating: 4.1
20.
“Mind Games” feat. Blue Black
Tha
other “Blue Black”, here (not “BluBlack” from Gardere, I don’t think), with Ken
on tha beat… >>> Kinda sounds like some older music in tha beginning;
how will y’all do? A decent hook, here, with a decent beat… I’m surprised that
I like tha “1 Call Away” betta than this, so far… Hearin’ you on tha 1st
verse and I’m diggin’ all your rhymes, here; gotta lay it down! Hearin’ this 2nd
verse from this Blue Black dude and it doesn’t even sound like either Blue
Black? Maybe it’s ‘cause I ain’t hear that Blue Black dude in a long while…
I’ll consider Blue Black tha same dude as that Lit BlueBlack dude I heard, back
five years ago, or so… It was a decent verse, though I feel bored… My Rating: 3.7
21.
“RN$” feat. Que Tha Truth
I
think he “Tha”, like me, not “The”. But, Kenville!! >>> Beat sounds
nice and chill, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and here you are,
spittin’ some rhymes, soundin’ a lil’ random wit tha flow of tha rhymes… Tha
hook’s simple and plain; decent… Hearin’ Tha Truth on tha 2nd verse,
here, comin’ through wit a nice-soundin’ voice on this one; good shit, so far…
Yeah, gotta rock dem “Polo boxers;” hate when rappers be on dat Wal-Mart-type
Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, regular-store-sellin’ boxers; fuck dat! I only fuck
wit celebrities!! Nice verse, overall; good, chill shit… My Rating: 3.9
22.
“Murder 187” feat. Doonie
I’m
pretty sure I know this one, right before I got my job… *Checks…* Yeah, I was
right. What I said, previously:
“Pretty
nice; I saw a pic of Doonie & Ken in tha studio, recently. Anyway, I’m
diggin’ tha hook; good shit from YB on tha 1st verse, comin’ through
consistently about this “187”-type shit. Now, let’s hear tha 2nd
verse from Doonie, here… Sounds pretty nice, so far… I know he branchin’ his
reputation wit dat Heartfelt CD, but
this sounds like Doonie deep in dat undaground, tha way I first heard about him
over [eight] years ago—it was [eight] years on February 23!”
Dumb
shit!! My Current Rating: 4.5

Outro (YB Speaks)
No
producer this time, lol? Let’s hear what you got ta say for tha ending…
>>> Still keep fa’gettin’ this only your “2nd solo
project;” feels like you dropped so many! What about a shout out ta me? Can’t
fa’get about me! Either way, nice way ta end this fa a “Self Investment!” My Rating:
N/A
Overall: Tha 1st ½ of
this was pretty dope, as I was lovin’ each and every track. Tha 2nd
½ of it started to get a lil’ decent and had a bunch of shit that sounded
random ta hear, on tha flows and shit. However, this definitely turned out ta
be consistent and some great shit ta enjoy! Nice job, YB! Classic dude! Keep
shittin’ on ‘em!!
