Keepin’ tha last day of tha month goin’ wit Gunz Up Ent. We R BR, a compilation album put together by tha Gunz Up Entertainment crew, courtesy of…, you guessed it, Gunz Up Entertainment! For those that don’t know who tha GUE click iz, it’s TK WNE, Honey B Heat (sometimes stylized as “HoneyBHeat”), Pine Obama (sometimes stylized as “Lil’ Pine”), Big Lucci Seringetti & Juvenile Tristen (sometimes stylized as “JuvenileTeeee”). I first caught attention to tha GUE crew when their song, “Lil’ Mama Get Loose”, was featured on DJ Tremon’s Hottest In The City 8 mixtape. From there, after starting my current (then-new) job, I was now able to listen to music durin’ tha whole shift & I up’d tha add rate on my playlists. “Lil’ Mama Get Loose” was generatin’ a buzz wit me & tha GUE crew really appreciated tha support. From there, I became connected wit a good portion of tha members & now, we have this We R BR compilation! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ what y’all got, from tha two jointz I done heard…!

Also, two things I gotta point out: Tha artwork that’s on tha download platforms ain’t tha official artwork. Tha official artwork iz what’s on this review, here. With tha artwork on here, I have to wonder, Honey B Heat’s pic iz pixelated? Random… Start Time: 6:58 PM | End Time: 7:30 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. Here…we…g…o…!…!…! >>> Sounds like an anticipatin’ intro wit dem shots & shit… Sounds like a good lil’ undaground hook fa tha Rouge; go, TK! Gotta just be you! Got TK on tha 1^st verse, too, comin’ through wit how he been since birth; definitely nice! Glad y’all got tha original production; always tha best plus fa BR! Got tha smooth Lucci on tha 2^nd verse, here; always feelin’ his deep-soundin’ voice/flow… Great job contributin’, Lucci! Got Pine Obama on tha 3^rd verse & I’m diggin’ what he bringin’ to tha table, here; luv his aggressive/energetic flow! Rappin’ on point; keep reppin’ dat “Gunz Up Ent.!” My Rating: 4.3

Title track & tha 2^nd track I know by y’all! Shout out ta DJ Tremon & his Hottest In The City 9 fa givin’ birth ta this one, too…! Definitely diggin’ tha upbeatness in tha beat & I have ta say, even tho I’m not crazy about them hi-pitched samples, this one works well. I’m definitely feelin’ how it’s hidden in tha background; adds a bounce ta tha track…! Tha hook really says it nice & clear: “We R BR;” no otha way! Lucci doin’ a nice job wit how he holds his “BR” streetz down; definitely nice for my undaground tastes…! Honey B Heat holds down tha 2^nd verse, here, as she keeps tha upbeat vibe goin’; nothin’ else ta say… Got TK WNE on tha 3^rd verse & I luv how he breaks down tha definition of “BR,” in his rhymes. “We go live, every second, every minute;” yup! My Current Rating: 4.6

03. Big Lucci Seringetti, Pine Obama & TK WNE “I Do What I Do”

! >>> Sounds like a cool lil’ beat, here; feelin’ tha undaground, as always! I know I mighta got a sample of this from one of y’all GUE peeps, via y’all Insta? Sounds like it… Wit dat bein’ said, great job wit tha hook, Lucci; gotta “do what [y’all] do!” Hearin’ tha 1^st verse from Lucci & it sounds nice; keep bringin’ dis undaground shit, no matter what year it iz! Just like me: I refuse ta sell out & will always be an undadog! Yup, “lit like a fireplace!” Got Pine on tha 2^nd verse & he really in tha mood fa tha track, here; definitely dig it! Keep tha energy goin’, of course! Luv how he ends tha verse wit, “Tha dumb way!!” 100!! Got anotha dose of TK wit tha 3^rd verse, here, as he comes through wit his good rhymes/vibes. Thumbs up fa how he comes through wit tha flow; always somethin’ catchy… My Rating: 4.2

04. Pine Obama feat. Big Lucci Seringetti & TK WNE “Lil’ Momma Get Loose”

Unlike tha other tracks on here, this one iz a GUE member featuring GUE members. That’s tha uniqueness of this track, especially since this was tha birth of Gunz Up Ent., fa me. Also, likin’ tha lil’ beat intro I neva heard before… Oh, a pre-Hottest In The City 8 version? Sounds a lil’ different, here, as far as how Pine wanna “get loose,” on tha hook. Either way, definitely dope wit tha energy & how Lucci comes through wit his style… No “shit” in Lucci’s rhymes? A radio edit, here? Fa err-body bein’ newbies tha 1^st time I heard this, I felt like err-body had somethin’ interestin’ ta offer. Of course, TK brings tha energy on tha 2^nd verse but a lil’ bit of changed lyrics? Like, no “Do it for TK, Lucci & Pine,” but for “tha vine?” Neva heard a 3^rd verse on this b4 & now, we got one wit Pine, here… Sounds pretty good fa tha quickness he brought to tha table; definitely nice wit keepin’ this shit goin’… Oh, at 3:24, it’s not a “lil’ momma”, anymore? Heard tha “lil’” get cut out, lol… Might have ta differ tha rating from tha version I heard on Hottest In The City 8, due to it’s slightly different… My Rating: 4.4

½time: Sounds great ta hear y’all do tha damn thang fa tha Rouge; great original production & team of peeps that I neva heard anythang from, on anythang I’ve reviewed in tha past. Wit dat bein’ said, a 4.4 for tha ½time rating, so far; let’s keep it movin’!!

05. Honey B Heat “I’m In Love”

>>> I’ono about a slow track; kinda uninterested, tbh… Like I said, I don’t really go for those hi-pitched samples… Tha beat ain’t too bad; kinda like a laidback track, which I ain’t thank was gon be tha vibe fa this CD? At least there’s rappin’ goin’ on wit Honey, on tha 1^st verse; I feel her way of gettin’ dat “love.” Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2^nd verse & it ain’t bad wit what she bringin’, here; nothin’ really ta say, tho… My Rating: 2.4

06. Big Lucci Seringetti “Grindin’ & Hustlin’”
>>> Ooh, we got AJ On Da Track, doin’ tha beat! I believe he tha 1^st producer I actually heard in tha Rouge, itself, on June 22, 2017 (Benjamin Racks “N Due Time”)! Beat sounds good—this a betta laidback vibe, in my opinion…! Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds nice wit how Lucci keeps his grind up! Talk about “grindin’” wit tha “four or five cars;” I want just a grill in my mouth, tho! Like, how much “grindin’” I gotta do? Hearin’ tha 1^st verse from Lucci & I’m diggin’ how he keep his swag/style goin’ wit his solo track, here! Speakin’ of “Racks,” you mentioned him in tha beginning of tha 2^nd verse, here, wit “KLC,” as well; good references. Tha rest of tha verse nice ta hear; always great ta hear Lucci spit somethin’! I got y’all backs!! Lol, seemed like it ended fast? Thought there woulda been two more bars in tha beat… My Rating: 4.1

07. Juvenile Tristen “Changed Up”
>>> Based off tha start & how this hook sounds, it sounds like this gon be tha most mainstream sound y’all gon get, wit Gunz Up? A lil’ different—should I appreciate it in a different sub-genre of rap? Like, emo trap? Might fit in that category than BR rap, here… A lil’ YoungBoyish wit tha flow, sometimes… I feel like that flow works for tha average person, tho not tha catchiest for me (more like a risk)… Yeah, wit dat bein’ said, tha 2^nd verse sounds like, like, a YoungBoy faster flow. These dayz, that faster-flow shit be throwin’ me off; not really tha catchiest fa me. Overall, fa this track, either this gon be somethin’ catchy or somethin’ ta pass… My Rating: 3.4

08. TK WNE “Gangsta”
This & “Lil’ Mama Get Loose” couldn’t convert to mp3, when I bought them off iTunes. So, I had to buy this & “Lil’ Mama Get Loose” off Amazon; talk about double support! >>> Sounds a lil’ catchy wit tha hook, here; nice lil’ beat & what TK brings to da table, here… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & yeah, definitely “validated” wit ya boy (me), ya heard me? Tha 2^nd verse sounds nice ta hear, as TK keeps tha life of tha WNE goin’, here; good shit… Also, almost sounds like Big Lucci hidden in tha hook’s background? My Rating: 4.0

09. Pine Obama “Run Yah Bandz Up”
Money tracks are one of my pet peeves. Let’s see how Pine gon handle dis, tho… >>> Sounds like a cool lil’ beat & how Pine comin’ through in tha beginning, here… Feelin’ tha hook, despite it bein’ all about tha “bandz.” Sounds like some older shit of his than newer? Either way, definitely nice; glad he got a “pill up in [his] system,” as well as tha “purp up in [his] gar!” Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & I’m feelin’ tha energy; you know what it iz! Tha 2^nd verse sounds good wit what Pine bringin’ to tha table fa err-body on somethin’, here; definitely nice! I believe I’m a few months older than him? I still thank it crazy ta be older than people, these dayz… My Rating: 4.2

Overall: Great job, y’all; great job! I definitely felt what y’all brought, here, for tha most part! Y’all a great team; keep up tha great work! Y’all hard workers & I hope y’all always believe in BR & its sound/quality/undaground!!

Had ta take some time out my current, busy schedule ta get ta some reviewz… Copped two albums, recently & this tha 1^st one I’m reviewin’ for today: MobbGod Induction Ceremony (Deluxe Edition), courtesy of Solo Mafia Enterprises; that’s right! Savage a.k.a. Supa Sav b.k.a. Sav Rothstein f.k.a. Sav Sinatra p.k.a. King Sav n.k.a. MobbGod! Sav was tha 1^st artist to randomly travel to my area (New York or PA) & actually encounter me! Since January 8, 2009, when Nu$$ie was ‘pose to see me in New York, I’ve had about seven failed attempts at artists comin’ ta visit me. Now, with time & growth bein’ tha key, Sav & I were able ta link up! Good shit! With that bein’ said, here goes tha review! Start Time: 5:14 PM | End Time: 6:00 PM

One that I randomly added, earlier this year, courtesy of your birthday, Sav… Wanted ta show you luv & now, I gotta show you bigger luv, since we got ta encounter each other, 10 dayz ago…!

As far as this song, I like tha lil’ phone call/intro/skit in tha beginning. Then, you continue tha intro wit you lightin’ up; definitely nice fa a laidback vibe… I like how you wanna “step on ‘em” & shit like dat, as far as how you handle tha verse. Also, when you adlib, “Pussazz…;” good shit! With how you explain yourself in this song, I like how you show tha growth in your life; definitely nice! This what tha laidback tracks should be like; nothin’ else ta really say… My Current Rating: 4.4

>>> Likin’ how tha keys & intro sounds like it’s hittin’ hard, here…! Lol, I like how you sound on tha hook, here, as far as “tha bag” go! Good shit, here; I’m sure others make it sound boring (“tha bag,” that iz)! Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse & it sounds nice wit what you bringin’ to tha table; all about tha grown Sav! Got tha 2^nd verse comin’ through, here & it sounds nice; “all about my Curren$y, like Jet Life!” Gotta luv how you got tha “Curren$y” on lock, fa this anthem & how you define your hustle! Luv that you came to tha northeast on two back-ta-back weeks! That’ll prolly be me when I reach your age, in six years? My Rating: 4.4

03. “Still (Remix)” feat. O.U. Bird & C-Loc

>>> I’m diggin’ your smooth, southern-soundin’ Sav production, here. However, I’on really fuck wit tha auto-tuned hook, as well as this bein’ about “money.” It kinda answers that “boring” feedback I left about tha last song, where when others make songs about tha bag; tha previous song sounded betta wit how you sounded, overall. Either way, you sound okay on tha 1^st verse; it str8, I guess… I got wrapped up too much in leavin’ feedback on tha hook… Tha 2^nd verse ain’t C-Loc but Bird, here (ID error, order-wise; gotta flip it!); he good wit what he spittin’ fa you, here… He even mentioned “Corona;” you can tell this that new-new… Sounds good wit how he kept tha rest of this shit goin’… Keepin’ it movin’ wit Loc on tha 3^rd verse, here…; sounds good, as you can’t complain when tha Bigg Dawg hit tha mic…! My Rating: 2.4

>>> Lol, nice lil’ mainstream-soundin’ club banga, here? You sound either silly and/or like one of those dance-move rappers, on tha hook… Either way, I’m glad you always have this lifestyle in your Mobb life! Got tha 1^st verse goin’ on & it str8/mainstream-taste, here. Sounds like you got a ton of lyrics droppin’ on top of lyrics, here? I see ya… Got this Dreamm chick on tha 2^nd verse, soundin’ nice wit how she contributin’ to tha track, here. Kinda bored of all these female rappers, these dayz; guess I’ll just appreciate ‘em in tha undaground, fa now? My Rating: 4.2

>>> Could you imagine? “You hear tha way we rip tha [MobbGod] track to pieces?” Lol… Not sure what I can anticipate wit your voice effect in tha beginning, here… Got tha 1^st verse goin’ on, here & it sounds dedicated fa tha fam, here… Only “three kids,” durin’ this recording; crazy that tha 4^th one brought you up to PA! Yup, R.I.P. ta “Chill,” as well; good shit. Hearin’ tha hook & it str8; sounds good & not depressin’ fa this “prayer.” Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & I’m likin’ what you spittin’ fa tha world we be in, these dayz. They really will give you a “charge,” if you ain’t got a “charge!” It’s like, tha both of us got locked up, in tha past? Doesn’t even make fuckin’ sense! Glad you always on “dem grapes,” like you “on Mars,” too; gots to! I even out-did your high, that day! I was gone off 24 mg of edibles, plus what we was shmokin’! Then again, who knows, you prolly pre-gamed b4 we linked up, so maybe, we tied? My Rating: 3.6

>>> I like tha instant start, here, wit you on tha 1^st verse…; keep countin’ your “loose-leaf!” Beat sounds like it’s an okay, lyrical-soundin’ southern vibe? Good advice & what you bringin’, lyrically… Hearin’ tha hook and I’ono about tha voice effect witchu, here; not really diggin’ it, even tho you try, I notice… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse from Geechee & it aight; just sounds more like rappin’ than catchy-rappin’, as far as a tight track fa me… My Rating: 2.7

07. “Like You Say”
>>> Almost sounds like it’s a breed of tha song I just listened to, on here… However, this hook sounds more like a YoungBoy, mainstream-type vibe & not so auto-iffy, like tha previous joint… Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse & it sounds okay wit what you bringin’ to tha table, here. Sounds like you more in a state of mind where you wanna make relaxin’-type music, these dayz? Even tho not my top picks, I still think we would make great autistic stoner rap together, when I finally get back ta recordin’… Keepin’ this thang movin’ wit tha 2^nd verse & yeah, you can “get pussy anywhere.” Like, you just had anotha kid on tha other side of tha country, lol! My Rating: 3.2

½time: I’m feelin’ 50/50 wit this release, Sav… A few laidback tracks that are decent fa me (tha title track’s more of a standout laidbacker than tha other ones that try to sound like urban hits), while just a touch of extra greatness, so far… You got a 3.6 for tha ½time rating; how will you continue ta do…?

08. “Do It (For The Mobb)”
>>> Sounds better, here; beat cool, tho a lil’ plain, at times (quiet organ)… I like how this a nice lil’ anthem “for tha Mobb,” here; nice way of hookin’ a hook in…! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it sounds good wit how you keepin’ these partyin’ vibes goin’; keep it goin’…! Lol, likin’ tha drunk vibes goin’ on durin’ tha start to tha 2^nd verse, here; let these boyz know there’s no such thang as ‘old!’ Likin’ how you can hear tha organ clear, on tha nice outro… My Rating: 4.3

09. “In The Way”
>>> Thought it woulda been pretty nice wit tha beat start but then, you take that risk of tryna be 100% mainstream? Tha auto-tune/weird singin’ & tha “money” talk; ahh…! When you say tha title, that’s prolly tha only good part of tha hook; that’s it. Either way, at least tha 1^st verse has normal rappin’; this that shit I be diggin’, at least! Dat organic Sav! Tha 2^nd verse sounds good wit how you keepin’ this street shit goin’; guardin’ everythang, here…! Yeah, I know how 12 be! Like, “Just got out tha county;” it’s pathetic how 12 looks at us like we bad! My Rating: 3.0

10. “Player”
>>> Likin’ how this beat intro sounds like some old west vs. south music, from tha ‘90s… Hearin’ tha hook & this how you make a good hook sound, not like tha full auto-tuned ones! All about tha “fresh fit” & “where I got dem shoes;” fuckin’ right, Sav! I agree…

“Where I got my shoes,” they ask? Just think of a plug! That’s it, lol! Anywayz, got your normal voice on tha 1^st verse, comin’ through wit some nice shit, here; good job wit how you keepin’ this shit goin’…! Keepin’ mo of dat good, mobbstyled lifestyle goin’ wit tha 2^nd verse, here, soundin’ good… Nice lil’ job wit makin’ this sound like one of those throwback jointz fa some1 ta embrace their style with… My Rating: 4.1

11. “3:00 AM”
>>> Sounds funny wit tha way you wanna “talk to [these bitches] about where you came [street life],” on this slow, sex-fuckin’ track, lol. Wouldn’t thank a slow vibe like dis would open a mouth up fa tha street life but, to each iz their own mobb, I guess? Lol… Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds okay fa bein’ “in [ya] zone,” here… Good job settin’ tha slow tone, even tho it kinda blah fa me, especially wit your auto-tune… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it aight; wouldn’t’ve thought you’d rap about a “unicorn” & shit, tho… Nice lil’ hi-hat solo toward tha end, too… My Rating: 2.6

12. “We Thank You”
>>> Thought this was gon just be an outro of shout outs but it’s a track… Hearin’ you spit these thank-yous & it sounds nice on tha 1^st verse; props, most definitely… I feel where you comin’ wit tha hook, as far as “We Thank You” (those that have fallen that have paved our wayz). However, anotha auto-tune approach & it sadly continues to, like, 2x a hook’s normal length. Hate ta have it cost you some of tha score but I gotta keep it 100% honest, here… My Rating: 2.8

13. “365” feat. Boosie Badazz & Geechee The Don

>>> Sounds like anotha one of your laidback tracks but no wack vocals, so far… Tha hook ain’t too bad; just sounds like a good singin’ vibe… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse from you & it ain’t bad wit what you bringin’; I’ll give you tha thumbs up. Got Boosie on tha 2^nd verse & see, I always enjoy how he comes through, on tha mic. I luv how he alternates his flow & makes whateva he’s contributin’ to sound nice. Wit dat bein’ said, great job contributin’ ta dis, Boosie! Keepin’ it movin’ wit Geechee on tha 3^rd verse & he sounds good; I’m feelin’ what he bringin’… Kinda sounds like one of your close friends/music peeps? Almost a similar flow, while rappin’… My Rating: 3.8

14. “Slide” feat. Jiggy Da Menace & Tre Louis

>>> Oh boy, tha squeekin’, like Trillville & Cutty’s “Some Cut” beat from ’04… Hearin’ Jiggy on tha 1^st verse & he sounds nice wit what he bringin’, here; good shit… Hearin’ tha hook from you & it sounds nice wit how you layin’ this “slide in dat pussy” setting, here; I digz it more than most hooks, on this review… Hearin’ you on tha 2^nd verse & you “Clifford,” a “dog,” here; dig it! Got Tre on tha 3^rd verse, comin’ through wit some okay rhymes; nothin’ really sparkin’ crazy wit ‘em. To me, it’s just an extra contribution that tha track needed? My Rating: 3.8

Overall: Not really that high of scores, due to certain ways I felt about tracks. A lil’ too many risks of usin’ tha auto-tune on tha hooks, this time round. I done heard you sound like Pimp; I done heard how you did tha “Slide” hook. Ta me, those two wayz you’ve sounded make you who you are. You don’t need auto-“doom” ta sound cool/acceptin’. With that bein’ said, don’t take this as hate, of course. I bought tha album; I gon always support ya. I thank you for all tha times you showed me luv & I always gon keep spreadin’ da luv, ya heard me? You gon get back on my playlist with anotha one of tha jointz on here, so that’s at least a win…
