Broadcasting from tha Ruins Hall, here in Glen Rock, PA, it's ya boy, FrankieThaLuckyDog here, sadly reportin' anotha tragic loss in tha Louisiana rap community.

Desmond Perryman, known by his stage name, Decky On Da Track, was murdered on tha 1000 block of North 40th Street on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at around 8:19 PM; he was only 28 years-old. According to police, when they arrived at tha scene, Perryman's lifeless body was already found in a yard with multiple gunshot wounds. Currently, detectives are unable to provide a motive or suspect in tha murder of Perryman.

Decky On Da Track was born Desmond Perryman on October 1, 1992, in Baton Rouge, LA. Decky was originally known by "Decky Boy On Da Track" but was later shortened to "Decky On Da Track" (sometymes spelt "Deccy On Da Track" or "Deccy On Da Tracc"). Tha name change was believed to prevent confusion with another late Baton Rouger, Decky Boy, who previously passed away on October 29, 2011. Decky's first-known productions came in 2012, when he linked up wit fellow Rouger, Que Almighty. He would then go on to produce for tha likes of many BR cats: Boo Milton, Boosie Badazz, General Mark, Kareem, Q Hu$tle, Racked-Up Ready, Sherwood Marty & Zoe Realla, to name a few. Decky kept tha undaground sound of BR pumpin' until his untimely death on Thursday, November 12, 2020, when he was shot dead in a North 40th Street yard. Earlier, on October 1st, Decky celebrated his 28th birthday.

Justin Abadie, better known by his stage name, J-Dirty, was murdered on Halloween night, Saturday, October 31, 2020, around 7:30 PM; he was only 37 years-old. According to officials, Abadie was in his vehicle, on the 3900 block of North 38th Street, when a gunshot struck him. Despite being taken to tha hospital, Abadie succumbed to his fatal shot. Currently, this investigation iz ongoing; an arrest & motive are yet to be determined.

J-Dirty was born in Baton Rouge, LA on September 4, 1983. A Southern University graduate, J-Dirty always had a passion for tha music business. During his late teens, in March 2003, J-Dirty was approached by Baton Rouge rapper, Terror, a.k.a. Cheez & k.n.a. Lawd Cheezus. Shortly after, he became Cheez's manager & tha group, Down Bad, was ready to take off. Down Bad originally consisted of five members: Cage, Jack Da Rippa, JR Dot, Supa & Terror a.k.a. Cheez. Tha group released Underground Hits, Vol. 2 & Underground Hits, Vol. 3 in 2004, followed by D.R.U.G.S. (Dope Records Used 2 Get Scrilla) & Underground Hits, Vol. 4 in 2005. In 2006, tha group kept it goin' with D.R.U.G.S. (Dope Records Used 2 Get Scrilla) 2: Tha Ovadose & tha 5th installment of their Underground Hits mixtapes, releasing Underground Hits, Vol. 5. Tha following year, in 2007, Down Bad dropped Da Sickest Mixtape, while member Terror dropped his solo debut, When Terror Strikes. Tha group also won tha Group of the Year award at tha Crunkfest 2K7 Music Awards. In 2008, Down Bad had even more multiple releases: From Da Block 2 Da Club, The Sickest 2K8 & ex-member, Supa's Live From 225. Following up 2008 with 2009, Down Bad continued with tha Macked Out Movement's Take Dat, Vol. 2, Supa's Hood Supastar & Hood Supastar, Vol. 2, as well as Terror's Terror N Da Ghetto. As tha 2010's rolled in, member Supa released It's Retarted but went his Macked Out Music route, independently, while tha other four members released Rerock. In 2011, Terror's third solo effort, Interrorgated, was released. Keepin' thangz movin' in 2012, Down Bad's most-recent release was released: Da Final Four. However, shortly after, tha group went on hiatus. J-Dirty later started his own label, Dirty Management, managing fellow Baton Rouger, Mista Cain; Cheez turned into "Lawd Cheezus" & formed his own label, YBS Entertainment; Cage, Jack & JR have been layin' low, as of lately. Not to worry, though; on September 11, 2020, Frankie met up with Cheezus to talk about tha past & current life of Down Bad. He told Frankie that err-body still cool wit each other & that it's not impossible to hear some new music, one day. Earlier, on September 4th, J-Dirty celebrated his 37th birthday.

Wow, I haven’t reviewed a rap release since July 30^th (& it was a throwback one, no less). For those unsure of what’s been goin’ on, I’ve been in tha process of moving & slowly investin’ in my own studio. A part of tha process iz tha file-completion process, where all tha file work I’ve been behind in over tha years/decade, I’m tryna complete. Anotha part of tha process iz tha process of plantin’ my music seeds. I started workin’ on my next album, Autistic Stoner Rap, but still not havin’ a job has been makin’ tha funds be on pause, smh. Not to mention, I’m havin’ continuous problems wit my back (& neck), at times, smh. I’m hoping to keep progressin’ at my goals, as they will take a few years to complete. Fa now, time for a new review, courtesy of Hungry Boy Records: Boxx The Hungry Genius HustleVeli 2: Pandemic Pressure (Hosted by Bumpy Knuckles); shout out ta Boxx & Knuckles, ya dig? I met up wit tha both of them on September 9^th, just less than two months ago. It was great interviewin’ them, as well as kickin’ it wit them. Now, it’s time fa some Pandemic Pressure! Fa now, here goes tha full review… >>> Sounds like a dope lil’ beat & 1^st verse wit you, here… I feel what you sayin’ about tha “hide emotions” shit, when it comes to this “COVID” shit… Also, “should they shmoke & pass,” as far as tha virus goin’ on? Well, hell-fuckin’-yeah, in my opinion! Like, look at all tha Louisianimals I done been around & I ain’t get a sign of nothin’, ya dig?! Always gotta “shmoke” dat good! Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds cool wit Samuel singin’ fa you, “pandemic” style; good shit! “Parallel over paper,” on tha 2^nd verse from you, here; gotta dig it! Consistent-ass rhymes; definitely tha quality sound of tha ‘80s babies in our 30’s, ya dig? Actually, I feel tha both voices combined fa this one; your rhymes keep tha heat up! Keep dat “pen & pad,” ya heard me? Yeah, Like O! Sounds like a cool lil’ new anthem fa Mr. 225 himself! Feelin’ how he feelin’ tha luuuuuuuucccck, like tha Lucky Dog like me! Nice job on tha hook; definitely feelin’ your energy! Hearin’ what you got on tha 1^st verse and you got a lotta consistent, fast-soundin’ rappin’ goin’ on; nice! “My grindin’ retawded; I’m cookoo;” yup! Been “cookoo” since ’07 wit tha “Full Throttle” dayz! Nice job wit tha 1^st verse, Boxx, you Hungry Genius! I will end this decade off wit this one & open up wit it on my playlist; stay tuned! So much ta devour, here! “A pint of lean,” huh, Boxx? You gettin’ me jealous, now! Five months clean; don’t I look sarcastically happy?! Smh, but nice job wit what you brought to tha 2^nd verse! Set tha chip on Boxx, as you say after tha 3^rd hook; nice job! Nice job wit this outro, too; props fa makin’ a comeback!

Still, these tracks with no hooks don’t really spark too much excitement fa me, overall. Like, if they’re gonna have no hooks, just be a 16; that’s all you need. Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse & it’s pretty dope; your consistency of tha rhymes goes ham!! Hearin’ you on tha 2^nd verse & it’s nice wit how you keep these rhymes goin’.
