I got anotha hot review comin’ fa y’all… Jimi Jump “Street Love Vol. 2 (Hosted by DJ PK1)”! Now I know I had trouble obtainin’ his other CDs (other than “Here’s My Resume”). But luckily, this one got out there and I got it! I like tha back cover wit tha store and shit, lol. DEFINITELY lookin’ forward to finally gettin’ ta dis!! Start Time: 9:31 AM | End Time: 10:40 AM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

02. “Freestyle”
LOL, slowly startin’ thangz off wit a short freestyle… >>> Thought it was real scary wit tha first second but fa’get dat; this iz nice!! Glad I’m reviewin’ this ‘cause I needed more current songs for my radio show. LOL, I ran out recently! My Rating: 4.4


03. “C.O.A. (Center Of Attention)” Feat. Dre Chatman
Based off tha smooth intro while tha previous song was ending, I know dis gon be pretty nice!! >>> Yea, J Buc on tha beat! Pretty good on tha hook here… Tha title’s definitely cool here; good shit! Dre added me on Facebook not too long ago. I thought that was a big dawg move!! What up, Dre?!? Good hook, ya dig? You’re doin’ a nice job on tha 1st verse here; keepin’ it consistent! LOL @ tha “eat me” line in tha 2nd verse. LOL @ tha “I be in ya shit like a camera wit a zoom…;” dumb shit!! My Rating: 4.3


04. “May The Best Man Win”
AHHHH!! An ’08 song!!! I played this on my radio show a few times, lol! Even though I reviewed it two years ago, I still agree wit how I feel about it. It still sounds tight; feelin’ tha T.I. sample, ya dig? Tha flow’s definitely nice, too! It’s all about keepin’ it consistent wit dat voice you have, ya dig? My Current Rating: 4.4


05. “Alright” Feat. Max Minelli & Yani
I wonder who Yani iz… I feel anticipated ta hear somethin’ like dis, ya dig?!? >>> Tha beat start iz really hot!! Too bad PK1 didn’t announce Yani on tha feature, too; PK1?!? Anyway, sounds pretty cool wit you on tha 1st verse holdin’ it down on dis beat! Almost had low anticipation for tha hook when I heard tha “swag” part but this iz definitely nice; good job on tha hook, Yani! Switchin’ it up to tha tight Max on tha 2nd verse! “Video-tape that shit;” I ALWAYS do dat, Max! That’s why I have SO MUCH to show to tha world!! I audio-tape things, too! That’s why I was able to create a posthumous interview for someone, ya heard me?!? My Rating: 4.3


06. “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Me” Feat. Airee
I hope this iz an anthem and not a sad song… >>> Who’s “Post Production”? Not bad for tha start here… Not too crazy about tha hook, unfortunately. Sounds a lil’ mainstream and lol @ her singin’ tha word “nigga” outta nowhere… LOL, only one verse? I guess that’s what it was only worth, lol! My Rating: 3.5


07. “Newsflash” Feat. Kevin Gates
Forgot tha “s” in tha title, lol? I made sure I checked ‘cause tha “‘s” iz missin’ from tha last title, too (on tha back cover). How hot will this be? >>> Sounds like a very, very long intro… I feel like I just wanna hear it already! I keep hearin’ tha Guss tag get mixed for over a minute now, lol?!? Not bad wit you on tha 1st verse although I felt a lil’ bored after waiting so long… Tha hook’s kinda plain; just mixin’ and “newsflash,” lol? Kevin Gates said, “…bring tha action on tha track,” so iz it a D. Jackson beat? I still feel like it sounds like Guss ‘cause of tha mixin’ sound. Not bad of a consistent verse from Gates, too… My Rating: 3.9


08. “Celebration” Feat. Dre Chatman
Damn, this song’s not even 100 seconds long… >>> Sounds hot; I’m likin’ it and tha energetic beat! Good verse and lol @ tha ending wit tha official hook from Dre; sounded like it came outta nowhere… My Rating: 4.3


09. “Purp N Lean”
Keepin’ it goin’! >>> Another HOT anthem that really caught my attention based off tha beat and tha catchiness throughout tha hook!! Nice job wit tha 1st verse here; keepin’ tha flow and everything consistent! Keepin’ it cool fa tha 2nd verse, too. I like tha slowed-down ending! My Rating: 4.5


10. “All Of The Above” Feat. Level
Let’s hear this J Buc beat! >>> Nice and “real slow” for tha beat (just like one of your older songs, lol)! DEFINITELY feelin’ tha beginning wit tha “weed” shit; doin’ tha damn thang!! Tha “___ on” shit sounds like a Kevin Gates Jamaican voice, lol. Tha hook’s pretty catchy; too bad this joint’s kinda short… Good collab wit Level; you DEFINITELY got tha hook up wit these features!! My Rating: 4.5


11. “I Think She Want Me” Feat. Lil’ One The Champ
You forgot tha “e” in tha “feat.” on tha back cover; it makes Lil’ One look “fat”, lol… How good’ll this be? >>> Wow, DEFINITELY keepin’ it goin’ here without any disappointment!! Tha production’s DEFINITELY nice and you keepin’ it goin’ wit your attitude and strictly keepin’ it HOT!! Tha hook’s cool, too. Just like tha “Purp N Lean” one, it has a catchy flow on tha hook! Lil’ One contributin’ wit his “snake,” lol! He’s even on tha 2nd verse here, soundin’ like a fully-focused A.R.! LOL, a “sex dinner”? This iz definitely interestin’; keep it comin’!! LOL @ tha “you should see my microphone” part; sounded like a white boy there, lol… This continues wit a 3rd verse, too; shit yea!! LOL @ tha start to tha 3rd verse: “bumpin’ dat Drake;” ROFL? Rather hear a Louisiana CD! Anyway, it turned out to be a pretty good verse… My Rating: 4.4


½time: DEFINITELY tha HOTNESS I want on my radio show and for my ears, iPod, etc.!! Keep this shit up, ESPECIALLY wit tha features and production!! So far, holdin’ it down wit a 4.3 CD rating!!


12. “Fuck Something” Feat. Mouse & Lil’ One The Champ
>>> Thought I was unanticipated when I heard tha snappin’ in tha beat ‘til PK1 healed that, sayin’ E.P. produced it (EDIT: EQ, my bad, lol)! It’s soundin’ pretty good and I’m likin’ tha consistency wit tha feature! You’re doin’ a nice job wit tha 1st verse; sounds like recently wit tha “weed” and shit, lol! LOL, what a simple-ass hook? ROFL!! How much did it cost to have Mouse say two words? LOL… I guess more money spent ‘cause he’s on tha 2nd verse here, doin’ a betta, less-plain job, lol! Kinda shitty/typical start to Lil’ One’s verse here but I know it fits good for tha track itself… My Rating: 4.2


13. “Me”
What a short-ass title, lol! But, I’m sure you can hold it down all by yourself! >>> Shit-fuckin’-yea!! J Hook’s on tha beat so I’m DEFINITELY anticipated!! Tha beat’s pretty nice here and you’re doin’ a nice job on tha 1st verse! See, I knew you could do it by yourself after those features! LOL @ tha hook and that simple-ass “me” outta nowhere, lol! Sounds pretty tight, though! Tha rest of this iz good, too! Nice lil’ gangsta endin’, too. My Rating: 4.3


14. “Streetbeat” Feat. Lil’ One The Champ
Uh oh, anotha Lil’ One feature! Let’s see how tight this’ll be ‘cause I like tha title! >>> Feelin’ tha start here; let’s see how tha verses go… Good rhymes you got here on tha 1st verse, Jimi. LOL, I didn’t realize tha song was so short; only 2.5 minutes long… Tha hook’s pretty good wit tha commotion goin’ on. Lil’ One’s on tha 2nd verse and this iz betta from tha last song he was on. My Rating: 4.3


15. “Ridiculous” Feat. Nu$$ie
What’s up wit tha under-three-minute songs? This CD started off short but then went to, like, five-minute songs. Anyway, let’s see what we got here… >>> Sounds quiet wit tha beat and already starts wit tha Nu$$… Good but extremely typical from what I’ve heard from him so this iz nothin’ new to hear. It’s always good to have different people on tha songs, though. Tha hook sounds familiar here… This iz pretty nice, regardless. Let’s see what you got… Okay, you’re a lil’ betta here wit a lot more to offer; thumbs up! My Rating: 4.2

It’s always good to have an interlude! >>> Yay! DJ PK1!! You even contributed pretty good here wit tha talkin’! Ooh, there’s rappin’, too, and you goin’ off!! Dumb shit here wit tha fastness!! Keep it goin’, keep it goin’!! I could go on and on wit sayin’, “keep it goin’,” lol!! My Rating: 4.4


17. “Out My Socks” Feat. Pac-Mann & Nasty Nate Da Gyno
Got to hear Pac-Mann thanx to a 3rdLife Music link (which surprisingly iz offline right now, lol?) so I know who he iz. This looks anticipatin’ ‘cause of tha newbie towards tha end and tha somewhat-new Pac-Mann! >>> This iz pretty hot; tha hook’s definitely nice, too! Can’t complain when you have a hot song like dis!! You’re on tha 1st verse, doin’ tha damn thang! Must be Pac-Mann on tha 2nd verse, goin’ off here!! He seemed pretty political on his promo CD but now sounds like he gained some energy! Good shit and we keepin’ it goin’ wit Nasty Nate on tha 3rd verse! Just like his name, he creatin’ a nasty-soundin’ verse here, lol! Even addin’ some nasty-gangsta shit, too! My Rating: 4.5


18. “Top Notch” Feat. Box
Got ta hear dis from one of Box’s CDs. Joe On The Track doin’ tha damn thang!! I just really liked dis one for some reason! I guess ‘cause of tha multi-collab! Beat’s a lil’ dry for a start but sounds good wit tha Pimp C hook so you know this iz tight! Box’s on tha 1st verse and tha rhymes are DEFINITELY official once again!! You’re on tha 2nd verse, Jimi, and you always sound anticipatin’ and cool on tha mic here fa me! Very consistent; y’all doin’ tha damn thang together!! LOL, tha 3rd verse was cut off… My Current Rating: 4.3


19. “Retarded”
LOL, an oldie? No features but y’all say Cage? Lemme hear… >>> Of course, this iz hot. LOL, definite anthem here and I guess a now-classic! LOL, I’m DEFINITELY likin’ your 1st verse; “dumbbbbbbbbb shiiiiiiiiiit!!!!!” After all, there iz no features on this; just you doin’ tha damn thang!! My Rating: 4.6


20. “Too Cool”
That’s what you are and you just keep it goin’!! >>> Outro? There’s still more songs… Sounds pretty nice wit tha smooth beat here! You have some good shit ta say here, feelin’ real good, lol. I like tha “shit … flush this toilet, yet” part, lol. “Too” bad (lol) this only clocked under two minutes; would’ve liked a 2nd verse but it’s aight. LOL, I like tha really slow ending wit tha beat! My Rating: 4.3


21. “I’m High” Feat. Savage
Keepin’ it goin’!! Definitely likin’ tha collab!! >>> Damn, I’m just REALLY likin’ these slow beats for some reason!! Just brings a GR8 sound when you rap on it!! Savage’s even on this so that makes me feel MO comfortable fa dis!! Pretty good verse from you here; I like tha shit you be spittin’ ‘bout! Glad Savage iz rappin’ on dis! Not only dat: he has some smooth vocals, too, ta contribute ta dis calm track! Shorter verse but he did tha damn thang; nice job, guys! GR8 topic fa a song, too!! My Rating: 4.6


22. “To Pieces (Remix)” Feat. Juvenile & Mouse
See, now this iz tha wrong way ta say “too”. It’s really just “to” or “2” ‘cause you’re just “to pieces”, not “too [much] pieces”, lol. Anyway, still sounds like classic material!! Couldn’t’ve had anyone betta than both Juvie and Mouse on dis shit!! “Too” (lol again) bad you ain’t got dat “Real Slow” joint on this CD… Then again, I haven’t reached #23, yet, so we’ll see… Good job once again from Juvie and tha hook from both you and Mouse iz DEFINITELY hot, still!! Gotta luv tha ’08 sound and all tha greatness it brought to me!! You did a nice job on tha 2nd verse, too; “2 pieces,” lol!! LOL, talk about a while ago when Mouse said, “3Deep representa.” I feel like 3Deep was so long ago; wish they would come back… He doin’ tha damn thang, as always! I reviewed this from “Here’s My Resume” but because tha review was over two years old, I figured I’d re-review it, ya dig? My Current Rating: 4.7

Last bonus song… I’m not gonna look ‘til it plays!! What iz it?!? >>> Well, it’s not “Real Slow” and it sounds like a Pop sound so let’s see what it iz… *Reveals ID* Okay, I know Jay iz a producer but this izn’t too catchy for me, unfortunately. Really think this beat iz dry and not really Hip-Hop, smh… Why iz this even here for a bonus? Why tha hell iz this almost four minutes unlike those other songs?!? My Rating: 1.1
