FrankieThaLuckyDog here, ‘bout ta review Mouse On Tha Track’s new CD, Air Time! Lookin’ forward ta reviewin’ it, but even better: I have Mass Appeal Entertainment checkin’ out my review, as we speak! This iz very exciting, and I had to pick Mouse On Tha Track ‘cause they’re familiar with him! So, without further or do, I gon review this Air Time CD! With them, I’ll review one or two tracks; tha rest, I’ll do later! Formerly with Trill Entertainment, Mouse’s now with 8090 Music. Start Time: 2:53 PM | End Time: 8:13 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by two artists who claimed their “money [was] long,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

01. “Liberation (The Cut)”

It’s 3:33; a full track ta introduce this CD! I’m definitely lookin’ forward ta hearin’ what you gon cook up here, Mouse! >>> A Pyrex Radio intro, here… Tha beat sounds pretty hot, includin’ tha voice you bringin’ ta tha hook, here… “Sittin’ in tha mirror” ta introduce tha 1^st verse, like a ½ decade ago wit dat “Rubbin’ On My Head”! Can’t believe you were 24 when you made that; where’d tha time go?! Whataya know? You even said, “I’m rubbin’ on my head;” guess I’m psychic? Damn @ tha “deletin’,” Mouse; I feel ya ‘cause I did tha same thing when people be cutthroat on me! Lots of “do me” shit once tha two-minute mark came; catchy! Some nice singin’ shit around 2:39, too; you got that kinda style that B-Real has, but I have ta say, you’re 23 dayz older than B-Real, and prolly have been a lil’ more active than him, so I have ta admit that you’re a great influence on him! My Rating: 4.5

02. “I Mean Dat”

At 2:56 PM, I continued my interview with Mass Appeal Ent. and finished it, as well as ate/got my room back together. Now, it’s 7:26 PM & I finna continue tha review wit this joint! >>> Jammin’ beginning! I wonder if B-Real got your “I mean dat” sayin’ from you? He be sayin’ it quite a bit… Nice job wit tha hook and tha repetitiveness! Great single! Feelin’ tha Juvenile-like flow on tha 1^st verse!! Between tha hook and tha 1^st verse, it almost was hard to tell tha transition, due to I was in tha zone wit tha hook. But, it’s definitely ear-catchy to get lost, in a great way! You even gave a shout out ta “Juvenile” and “Mannie Fresh;” makes sense. Then again, I’m psychic, once again? Definitely a great single; hope it continues to get pushed hard! I wish Music Choice Rap got this! Tha mixin’ at tha end’s got me anticipated; can’t wait fa tha next joint!! My Rating: 4.7

03. “Haters Don’t Like That”

From “Dat” to “That!” >>> Beat’s definitely ear-catchy, here!! Nice job wit tha 1^st verse wit your catchy voice/flow! Really luvin’ tha beat sounds durin’ tha hook; catchy shit, includin’ how you deliver it! Tha 2^nd verse’s nice, includin’ tha “casinos” and “gamblin’” shit; keep it goin’—keep it poppin’! My Rating: 4.6

04. “Never Slow My Roll”

Nice and consistent wit this blendin’; keep it goin’!! >>> A slower start, but sounds like it gon be an anthem, based off them horns in tha beginning! Great shit on tha 1^st verse; “I can’t stop smokin’, right nah!” I definitely agree; can’t get enough of weed! Tha hook’s pretty catchy; I like dat title part! “My roll—my roll!!” And, no one has slowed your “roll” down; you’ve always been active! Tha 2^nd verse’s pretty nice, too; definitely feelin’ this kinda jam, too! Keep grindin’! My Rating: 4.5

05. “Thick Red Bone”

! >>> Likin’ tha sample on tha hook, includin’ tha beat! Reminds me of those anthemic New Orleans jointz! Consistent; nice and repetitive! LOL @ tha 1^st verse, Mouse: “Got a nice set of melons;” tittastic!! Likin’ tha 3^rd ¼ of tha 1^st verse wit how you delivered tha rhymes, as well as tha beat! Reminds me of DJ B-Real & Zeus’ “It’s Nothin’” track, which iz almost tha same length! Glad it did that nice part again; great shit, though I felt like it was a verse short, or somethin’? My Rating: 4.6

06. “Off The Chain”

>>> Nice beat; almost thought it was jacked or somethin’, at first… Catchy shit on tha hook; great voice ta sang this! LOL @ 1:04: I like how you said, “I’m Swagga Fresh—Swagga Fresh Freddie;” shit yeah! Great vibes; great way to deliver these rhymes! A pure voice; gotta luv ya! Tha 2^nd verse sounds great, too; really diggin’ how you maintain this catchy sang-rap voice tha whole way through! My Rating: 4.4

07. “Be Alright (FTF)”

What could tha “FTF” be, here? LOL…? >>> More of a catchy voice and tha great beat vibes, too! “Fuck They Feelings” = “FTF,” I see? Nice! Soundin’ good on tha 1^st verse, with ½ of a bar bein’ a beat; tha otha ½’s lyrics, which I think’s a nice and catchy, lazy way of deliverin’ catchiness! Tha 2^nd verse continues tha catchiness, here; props fa your voice and fa providin’ a catchy joint! A 3^rd verse, here… Soundin’ pretty good and then, you added more lyrics on tha bars. LOL, it was catchier with less lyrics, but I like how you talked about “burnt toast,” or whateva, lol. My Rating: 4.3

½time: So far, it’s pretty pure; definitely feelin’ what you bringin’ to tha table, here! Gotta luv tha Baton Rouge sound, and you neva disappoint! Props fa retweetin’ that lil’ update I sent you that I reviewed tha 1^st song live with Mass Appeal Ent.! A 4.5-rated CD, currently; keep it up!!

08. “Detour”

Keepin’ these great tracks comin’! >>> Nice beat and great job wit tha 1^st verse; tha Mouse effect! Ooh @ tha hook; feelin’ how you “in [your] zone” and “in [your] lane!” Like how you say tha title on tha hook; good shit! Tha 2^nd verse almost sounded like a feature, but I believe it’s you? Even a 3^rd person perspective, as I heard your name? Whateva tha case may be, this definitely iz catchy! My Rating: 4.4

09. “Bye Bitch”

Yeah! >>> A nice start; feelin’ tha beat sounds you providin’, here! Tha hook’s catchy; really likin’ how you say tha “biiiiitch” part, at tha end of tha hook! Tha 1^st verse’s nice; just luv your catchiness! You can spit anything and it qualifies as heat! Tha 2^nd verse’s pretty good; can’t complain at all wit what you spit! LOL, was that a dinosaur growl @ 3:01?! ROFL! My Rating: 4.4

10. “Sex, Drugs & Money” Feat. Kevin Gates

I was ‘bout ta say, “Wow, Mouse, you really holdin’ this CD down without any features!” And then, a feature came! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this! >>> Nice start; I like how Gates mentioned, “New York,” in tha intro! Perfect ‘cause of how Mass Appeal came from NY to PA to see me; quality!! Nice beat, of course, and Gates’ rippin’ shit apart on tha 1^st verse!! Really feelin’ tha aggression in his voice!! Ooh @ tha hook; really feelin’ how you comin’ through wit tha voice! Oh wait, I already heard this on tha Pyrex Radio Vol. 7; I thought it sounded familiar! 12. “Ain’t Gon Stress”

Not anymore, now that I work and met a cool-ass dude from my job that I hang out with, frequently! >>> Catchy beat and tha hook’s real catchy! I like all tha problems that you can’t “stress” about; I feel ya! Tha 1^st verse’s real catchy wit your voice; gotta luv it! I luv when you hold notes in words; hellllllllla catchy!!! Tha 2^nd verse’s pretty nice, too; you really holdin’ shit down and there’s no reason ta eva “stress!” It’s all about resistance!! My Rating: 4.6

13. “Don’t Make’em Like Me” Feat. Kevin Gates

Ooh, anotha collab!! >>> This almost sounds familiar, but I think I neva heard this one; catchy hook! And yeah, just like myself, “They don’t make’em like me,” either! Who else autistic and unique like me? Great shit on tha 1^st verse; “fuckin’ awesome,” just like you said! Such a catchy beat, too; that true Baton Rouge sound dat neva dies!! LOL, Kevin Gates came outta nowhere on tha 2^nd verse, strictly pumpin’ outta my stereo! Consistent rhymes; feels like hopscotch wit all dem rhymes!! Here you are on tha 3^rd verse, comin’ through wit catchiness! I’ono what else ta say…; I’m really feelin’ how you comin’ through on this beat! That’s it! My Rating: 4.6

14. “Slick Side Hating” Feat. Max Minelli

A catchy title, here! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this collaboration!! >>> Catchy hook and beat, once again; you’re such an undeniable winner, Mouse!! Tha 1^st verse’s nice; keep droppin’ dem rhymes on dem consistent beats!! Max’s on tha 2^nd verse, here, comin’ through wit consistent rhymes; feelin’ how this in a bangin’ perspective, lol! That could mean multiple thangz when I said that! My Rating: 4.4

15. “OTTS”
Anotha acronym. This time, it’s a bonus track! >>> Ooh @ tha ancient sample in tha background; interesting!! “On Tha Same Shit” = “OTTS;” nice, once again! Real-catchy hook and tha 1^st verse’s pretty nice, too! Tha 2^nd verse’s pretty nice, as well! Can’t evade dat coolness dat comin’ from your mouth! What catchiness; gotta luv tha voice and how you be rappin’ “OTS” (on this shit)! And, tha final 44 seconds iz tha beat outro, fading early; nice! My Rating: 4.7

Overall: I thought this was a real-nice CD!! You provided a ton of consistent jamz, without disappointin’! And, you had luck in tha beginning when I reviewed this in front of a record label!! Talk about dat, Mouse?! Gotta luv your consistent way of thinkin’ of catchy-ass jointz, includin’ tha beats and deliveries! Also, only a few features, but you made sure they were 100% tight!! Keep up tha great work; keep stayin’ consistent, loyal, retweeting, and don’t fall off, like others I know!
