Comin’ up next, I have a review for anotha newbie. Outta Baton Rouge, LA, we got Kell, signed with Sick Spit Entertainment, Time 2 Use My Gift Vol. 1! I’m feelin’ anticipated fa this one ‘cause I found out about him through Benjamin Racks! Even has a unique birthday: June 27, 1982; he in tha ’82 – ’84 category!! Even tha front cover look like a ViperGFX cover from when them ’82 – ’84 babies were mainly active (’06 – ’10 dayz)! Too bad it ain’t, but whateva! How will he hold up? We shall see! 01. “Intro”
>>> Beat sounds nice; you got tha hook on lock! Wow @ tha verse!! Just namin’ so much gangsta shit, here!! “My blueprint like Jay-Z;” undeniable!! I like how you had an “R.I.P.” to “Handy” and then, on tha 2^nd verse, “Left Eye!” Excellent rhymin’! You like a grimy version of Percy Keith, a lil’! Hey, I done found me a link, finally! A new mixtape website, Yo! Mixtapez, thanx to tha end of this “Intro”’s YouTube video! Only thing iz, tha “2” iz flipped in tha YouTube video! My Rating: 4.6

02. “Lyrics Like Pills”

Oooooooh… >>> Thought tha beat was gon be faster, but it’s really slow… I expect you ta slaughter this one! Sounds like a regular-soundin’ rap song fa tha south, but it still cool… Nice rhymes, regardless… My Rating: 4.0

03. “By Any Means”
>>> Beat nice fa tha south, once again… Hearin’ tha hook and you sound like one of those rappers that’ll go down in history when you pass; good shit! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and I’m definitely feelin’ all these man-made sound effects! “Ching-Ching!” Excellent job with makin’ a catchy track!! When you say, “Sellin’ CDs & DVDs,” on tha 2^nd verse, it sounds like some of that throwback shit I used to love from ’04 or somethin’! Good shit! You holdin’ it down like a boss!! My Rating: 4.3

04. “Megan Good” feat. Benjamin Racks

Got a sample off of Benjamin Racks postin’ it and it’s pretty catchy! Here go da review! >>> I like how tha beat sounds like a special version of a mainstream/typical track; that Baton Rouge version! Tha hook pretty catchy with this title, too; undaground shit at its finest! Tha 1^st verse ain’t too bad from you, here; good shit! Can’t deny! “Just bought a loud pack, hope it’s good like Megan;” of course, it iz! So great ta hear Racks on tha 2^nd verse, here, deliverin’ tha catchiness! Always loved how he sounded on tha tracks! Usually, he more wild than this but this still cool ta hear a somewhat-laidback Jefferson (that’s his real last name), lol! I told Racks to neva quit this rap shit; he gotta keep continue! We only 28!! My Rating: 4.4

05. “You Gone Learn” feat. Mayl Man, Kyre, Le, Tic & Pacman

Recognize some of these names… >>> You gettin’ me anticipated wit tha beginning, here… Diggin’ tha “retawded” shit in tha beginning! Yeah!! This my shit, right chea!! Nice lil’ repetitive, hyped-up hook!! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it gets me excited ta hear a bunch of newbies in tha beginning! Gutta shit fa tha 225, of course! And, tha 2^nd ½ of tha 1^st verse’s nice! “Pills kicked in;” I want edibles!! Tha 2^nd verse’s soundin’ nice, here; definitely in tha zone! Tha 2^nd ½ of tha 2^nd verse’s soundin’ a lil’ tougher wit how they comin’ through wit it! Good shit—dope shit!! Diggin’ how tha 3^rd verse’s soundin’, here! Different voices fa different flows that I’m lovin’! My Rating: 4.6

06. “Letter To My Son”
>>> I’ono how much I gon feel this, so let’s see… Hearin’ tha hook and I like how it sounds like a gutta tale with tha beat and how you sound… Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse and it sounds good; deliverin’ like a G! I like how you say, “That he miss you,” as well as tha lil’ background, “Trippy, mane;” nice! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and it’s soundin’ betta fa me; likin’ this story! Usually, these kinda songs ain’t really fa me, but tha beat helps keep my interest up… Also, I’m interested in your story! My Rating: 4.5

07. “True Colors” feat. Mayl Man & Prime

! >>> A decent hook; I like how you say, “Nigga think I’m green outchea,” on tha hook, as it’s interestin’… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it sounds nice over this decent beat… Tha 2^nd verse ain’t too bad, here; decent track… My Rating: 3.7

½time: This CD pretty dope, here! Definitely feelin’ your boss-life status, holdin’ it down on these beats! You got tha aggression and nice energy ta hold shit down! Not ta mention, your features hold shit down, too! A 4.3-rated CD, here!

08. “Pass Me The Drugs” feat. Mayl Man & Tic

>>> Of course, this shit tight! Nice job on tha hook wit this nice-soundin’, Baton Rouge-soundin’ beat! I luv how you hold down tha 1^st verse, here! “Drugs on me;” you tha shit!! Tha 2^nd verse’s pretty nice from this Mayl Man, here! Anotha Baton Rouge breed at its finest! I like tha “picture / pitcher” shit, too! This Tic on tha 3^rd verse, or are they flipped on tha ID? Sounds like a mysterious voice, but it still nice! My Rating: 4.3

09. “Ass Like That” feat. Carleone

>>> Sounds like a simple lil’ club banga… Not really a Baton Rouge sound, here, but it still nice; catchy hook… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it “fleek”tastic, here… Tha 2^nd verse ain’t too bad, here; not much ta say… I’ono why, but when I hear tha beat outro, it’s makin’ me appreciate tha beat more… My Rating: 3.8

10. “First Time”
>>> Not diggin’ this beat start; sounds like a jacked beat—a NY one! Hearin’ your rhymes and they’re good, but I don’t have much interest… Funny how this mainly about “Mary Jane;” really needed a betta beat!! My Rating: 3.5

11. “Hold It Down” feat. Mayl Man

>>> “Glen Oaks, Baton Rouge” representa, here (you)… Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds great with this beat, too! Nice job wit how you’re comin’ through wit it on tha 1^st verse, here, holdin’ “it down!” Tha Mayl Man on tha 2^nd verse, here, spittin’ a nice lil’ story about “tha school zone;” dope! Lots of streetz, too; dope! My Rating: 4.2

12. “Rado Truck”

>>> Beat a lil’ different fa an upbeat one, but it sounds nice wit you doin’ ya thang on this hook! Luvin’ this celeb life-type lyrics! Gotta luv livin’ like dat! I be celebratin’ like dat, now! Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse and it’s soundin’ nice; jammin’ shit, here! And, a 2^nd verse ta squeeze in here, wit only 23 seconds left! Nice lil’ quick ending, all tha way till tha end! My Rating: 4.3

13. “Sky’s The Limit”
Gay title, especially since havin’ Tic on this CD kinda brings back those thoughts! And, tha name’s in tha title, smh!! >>> Beat’s nice fa a southern, laidback one fa tha streetz… Can’t take tha title serious but tha hook good… Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse, clockin’ “in!” Anti-“employee” shit, here, as you wanna be an “employer;” I feel ya! So many customers at my job think I own tha place; fuckin’ right! Wish it was so! Nice lil’ 1^st verse; I can relate! Tha 2^nd verse ain’t too bad, here, as you continue ta hold it down… My Rating: 3.9

14. “Cypher” feat. $tevo, Le, Tic & Grip

>>> Ain’t expect this ta be a jammin’, upbeat, soundin’-like-‘90s/early 2000’s-type beat, here! Sounds nice wit how you’re comin’ through on tha 1^st verse! And, tha beat continues ta brighten up tha hype wit $tevo on tha 2^nd verse, comin’ through nicely! Le on tha 3^rd verse, deliverin’ shit on tha mic; can’t complain… After those three verses, a lil’ beat interlude appeared… I ain’t expect tha beat interlude but it still soundin’ nice ta transition to tha 4^th verse (Tic); good shit… And, tha 5^th verse (Grip), holdin’ shit down, too! My Rating: 4.3

15. “Real Niggas Do (Outro)”
>>> Likin’ how tha beat sounds nice and slow, here… I like how you’re handlin’ this hook, here, leadin’ tha way to those listenin’! Diggin’ how you comin’ through on tha verse, here! When you say, “I’m 1-0-0!,” I instantly think of you as a Skull Duggrey breed! “1,000!” My Rating: 4.1

Overall: Great job with this one, Kell! You got a bright future ahead of you, whether it starts at age 34 or not! I don’t even look at it as an age thing, anymore! I just consider it, “He’s six years older than me;” that’s concrete, right there! But yeah, excellent job wit how you handled tha tracks, spittin’ your stories & props to tha features!
