into my 2,015th review, eva! I’m lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this new
Phat Baby release we got! Phat Baby, p.k.a. Y.B. For Initials, f.k.a. YB
(b4 that damn YoungBoy)! This right chea iz Stepchild (Deluxe);
this iz just how I feel about bein’ tha “stepchild” to my stepdad. You know, it
makes life an extra life somewhere. You know, you have an inconsistent way of
appreciating & under-appreciating things, I guess? People don’t understand
who you iz but that’s where I come into tha picture. Me & my autistic
stoner rapper-ass, ya heard me?! But yeah, gettin’ into this Phat Baby Stepchilid
(Deluxe), courtesy of Don’t Die Wondering Music Group…! I was ‘posed ta
do this review a week ago, on tha 16th. However, even tho I wanted
to enjoy tha snow, I got hit wit an injury at my job from carin’ too much; it
fucked me up…! Had ta kinda shake back, even tho I ain’t even take a day off,
except for tha dayz off I had. I ain’t call off or nothin’; I’m a soulja, ya heard
me? I’m an ‘80s babies in my 30’s! ‘80s babies in our 30’s! But, Phat Baby a ‘90s
baby, right chea! With tha original Stepchild, with only four tracks on
it, I really felt that you had tha dinosaur in tha background. With tha deluxe
cover, you know, I have to put my two pennies in on this one! I just don’t
appreciate tha money flashin’, even tho Long Live Looney & King Joe, ya
heard me? They were my people—tha underground of Baton Rouge, you know, alwayz
luv y’all to tha fullest, especially Looney! I got mad luv fa him but I have
tha exclusive Looney, money-flashingless pics! Maybe, a pic or two or three or
four, you know? You coulda hit me up; you know & prolly got one of those on
there! That was courtesy of me but you know, that’s where I put my stamp on it.
I alwayz put my stamp on people in Baton Rouge, ya heard me?! Over 14 years
strong & on our 15th year this year, so I’m lookin’ forward ta
that! I dunno, this review may be just a lil’ decent? We’ll have to see how it
goes but fa now, I finna climb this Moosic Mountain trail, right chea! This iz

rating, I pretty much really love it,
as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I

I’m really feelin’ tha aggression that you bringin’ to tha table! Ya know, I was talkin’ ‘bout dat YoungBoy; I feel like he coulda jacked your style ‘cause in comparison, it just sounds like you’re bringin’ a vibe that he should embrace! And, give credit to: that B.R. sound to tha fullest! From tha hook transitionin’ to tha 1st verse & tha greatness you were bringin’ to tha table with tha aggression—or should I say, only verse—I feel it; tha aggression iz definitely what’s up! Just keep bein’ an underdog; it’s all about tha underdogz, ya heard me?! All day, every day! “Negative 6”; that’s what it iz! Nice lil’ outro, here! Ya know what? A part of me wants ta think that you gon be freestylin’ off of a slow jam/high-kinda track? It’s 10:09, right now! It’s Greg Dukes’ birthday tyme but also, King Joe birthday tyme! 10:09! 10/09! Long Live King Joe! Slow freestyle? Two words! #2, with 2:02 on tha length, as yesterday was 2.22.22! >>> Like, you really “mmm-mmm”/hummin’, here, with tha “mmm-mmm” intro! I would say, definitely somethin’ catchy, right chea! I just luv your aggression on tha track, again! Yeah, “go opp shop”…ping, that iz! Yeah, “‘Never Scared’, like Bone Crusher”; 19 years ago, just like my boombox I still use ev’ry muthafuckin’ day! Yeah, “like a shark, don’t reel ‘em in ‘cause he on [yo] line!” Beware! Phat Baby comin’ through phat with tha “mmm-mmm-mmm-mmm!” When you came in with tha “Smoke Scent”, it sounded like your vocals were a lot louder than tha music/tha beat in tha background? So, that masterin’ was, I wouldn’t say it was all 100% there but I definitely felt everythang else: tha beat, just keepin’ it goin’ with this 225 heat! This iz what it’s all about, right chea! If you want me ta show luv ta somethin’, it gotta be that 225 heat! You know what tha sound iz! My Rating: 4.5

Let’s get into it…! >>> Yeah, I can feel like Looney would be on tha beat; so, shout out to tha 225 underdog! Yeah, “Pay yo fuckin’ cable bill if you don’t want no static!” Yeah, I’m definitely feelin’ a great vibe off this track, right chea! Anotha awesome Baton Rouge sound, wit your focused, energized, dope ego! Dope 1st ver—oh wait, dope verse! Take tha “1st” out ‘cause there’s only one verse! But, tha hook? Tha hook dope, too! At least you have a catchy flow ta go with this decent beat… I would say it sounds okay; I mean, I guess this iz for tha streetz but I mean, it’s still good. I think this one’s gonna be pretty stunning with tha lyrical content but iz it addressed tha way that tha Baton Rouge heads gon luv? >>> I feel like this production sounds dope with this beginning beat; yeah, “Long Live Looney!” It reminds me of a Fredo Bang track! “Just got off tha phone wit Gates.” You talkin’ ‘bout my boy born on February 5, 1986? Kevin Gates?! I don’t get tired—I neva get tired! Alwayz wired! Don’t get tired, alwayz wired!! Think of that! Yeah, “potent taste”; these are “potent” rhymes, ya heard me?! “Shattered like a broken vase”; yeah! Buku pieces, right there! I definitely agree! You know, where you have so many stories! Me at 33? Definitely, definitely got a bunch of stories to tell & I can’t wait to tell ‘em in tha future! I can tell ‘em many tymes! This one got a 2nd verse & it soundin’ pretty dope with how you comin’ through with that, what I’d say, what-inspired-YoungBoy-type flow…! My Rating: 4.6

It’s prolly gonna be how I felt about tha track’s anticipation level, as far as my preview. Just seems like it could be somethin’ for tha streetz…? Let’s just see if you combine tha right vibes, here… >>> This iz soundin’ a lot better than I thought it would be with tha beat start, here…! Yeah, “I’ono need no help”; looka, I’m doin’ this by myself, again! Runnin’ all five lines on my floor by myself! “My 3’s up”; yeah, shout out ta YB—you, with tha initials, Youngblood! Yeah, havin’ tha injury a week ago & doin’ this, climbin’ this Moosic Mountain, this that shit…! I’m invincible; I got stamina like no other! Pretty-catchy 1st verse & tha hook sounds pretty great, you know, how you feel nuttin’! Nuttin’! I like how you made your own version of “Murder She Wrote”, back from tha ‘90s; ol’ skool! Sounds cool; sounds like tha 2nd verse popped up outta nowhere & really tried to catch tha end of tha hook & introduced itself so fast… That transition caught me off guard but… You ain’t “nuttin’” to these people on yo dick ‘cause you know what? You got tha shit on lock, Phat Baby! That’s right! “P-H-A-T” all diggy-diggy-day!! Tha 2nd verse still soundin’ pretty good, tho, so I’ll give you them props…; beat definitely on point… My Rating: 4.3

A freestyle, it seems like, over this beat… It’s more like a mainstream vs. a northeast-type beat, here… But, I’m feelin’ how you flowin’ this shit, ya know? It’s really important tha facts you spittin’ for tha street. I like how you’re holdin’ it down with “tha streets don’t luv nobody”; yeah. I know people hate me/don’t luv me but I just know ta keep bein’ consistent. My Rating: 3.7

It’s gonna probably be lyrical for tha streetz… >>> I heard tha “wow-wow” & I knew from that 1st second [Baton Rouge sound]! We’ll see… Definitely dat heat comin’ from dat Rouge! Rhymes are pretty dope; you just let tha rhymes take ova…! Consistent rhymes till tha bone gristle! Getchu elevated! Elevated!!! That’s what I luv about tha mountain; you can just scream…! Great job with tha 1st verse & once again, tha hook’s got that catchiness! I definitely am diggin’ that you kept a lot of tha beat outro, here & just let tha beat ride! I dunno, I don’t want this to be depressin’; I just want this to be somethin’ good… Quality for tha streetz but I luv that Baton Rouge sound! I can’t stress it enough! >>> “Percocet painkiller”?! Luvin’ this “Percocet” part! “Fried like some catfish”; that’s right! You “fried,” cookin’ up da “fried” goods, that iz! I’m glad you’re continuin’ where Looney left off ‘cause you know what it iz! I know you’re goin’ thru your shit wit your sentence & err-thang; I went thru mine I got mine done! I can’t believe it’s fuckin’ been five months, already! Five months today, I got off probation! Where tha hell did tha tyme go?! Wow, “Tombstone witcho name!” That’s YB for ya, meaning you, For Initials, ya heard me?! Tryna go after that Looney killer; yeah! Fuck tha Looney killer! It was great ta listen to Phat Baby & just really appreciate him. You know,
gettin’ tha opportunity to make more music again, after servin’ tyme & just
really holdin’ it down fa tha undaground of Baton Rouge/225! Shout out Phat
