Watz good it's ya boy FrankieThaLuckyDog here. I'm gonna review Maceo's latest mixtape wit DJ Scream so here it goes. Here goes my review for DJ Scream & Maceo "Flatline". Start Time: 6:00 PM | Video Game Playing: Secret Of Mana (for Super Nintendo) (on my computer)












01. Intro
Let's see what's goin' on wit this intro that's over 2 minutes long! >>> Love tha movie theme music in tha beginning! Great choice for a beat to speak over! Gets me very anticipated to hear what's gonna happen next!! Because of tha theme and airing out tha "lyin'-ass trappers," I hope this iz some real trap shit wit a nice dark theme to tha beats! This was prolly one of tha best "makes you feel anticipated tha most" kinda intros! My Rating: N/A


02. "Time To Get It"
I haven't heard you since tha dayz of 2005/2006 wit "Hoe Sit Down", "Nextel Chirp" and "Outta Here" (which were all lil' played Music Choice Rap songs). I hope you got better and maintained tha tight shit! >>> Yup, I found some gold here (wit this joint). Tha beat iz nice and tight and tha hook iz great! Verse 1 sounded pretty good. Verse 2 iz soundin' great, especially wit tha "go hard like work in tha glass pot" line. That was nice for somethin' that only lasted under 3 minutes! Great start! My Rating: 4.3


03. "Long Way" Feat. Yung Ralph & Supa
Let's see this collabo… >>> Fats (from "Nextel Chirp" and "Outta Here") got locked up? For what? That sux. Sorry to hear that. Anyway, beat sounds good again. Nice lil' rock sound in it without it bein' a "trend" sound. Likin' that Supa dude talkin' about tha "kush" and good shit like that. Yung Ralph had a nice 2nd verse. Tight shit so far. You had a pretty good 3rd verse. Supa did tha best on this joint so I gotta give all tha props to him. REAL GOOD hook by him and GREAT verse by him too! My Rating: 4.2


04. "V.I.P."
I expect tha usual for this type of title. >>> I'm feelin' this and I'm glad "all your shit iz V.I.P.." Very good 1st verse and wow, this joint just keeps gettin' better and better! Can't help that beat as it's a beast! Very good shit throughout all tha verses, especially tha shit about "cheefin' on kush" and tha shit about tha "pills." Tight shit dawg! My Rating: 4.6


05. "Eastside"
That's what I rep (Long Island, New York). Let's see what you talkin' 'bout on here… >>> It's nice and long so it betta be real good! Sounded like a Funkmaster Flex bomb when DJ Scream brought it back. I like that "middle finger to tha sky" line and all those "I'mma show you what a real nigga look like" parts in tha hook! I think DJ Scream gave a shout out to Primetime. Ya know what? Since one of my boyz from my last college's nickname iz Primetime Sykes, I finna give him a shout out now: Shouts out to my dude Primetime Sykes. This shit sounded great throughout tha whole track! Definitely worth my 5 minutes of reviewing! My Rating: 4.2


06. "Stupid Swag"
Yeah, I hope your "swag" iz retarded, ya dig! Lemme hear about it! >>> Nice beat, great hook and 1st verse soundin' great! Good shit ya spittin' Maceo. Tha 2nd verse iz soundin' real good too! This a nice joint you got here Maceo. Glad you got yo "swag" game up! My Rating: 4.4


07. "Defset" Feat. La & Supa
Iz this an imitation of Dipset or somethin' else? I'm curious to find out and I have high anticipation for this since Supa's on it!! >>> Cool lil' "Lollipop" sound here and there. A lil' long intro but it's finally kickin' in at about 52 seconds in. Tha hook iz just okay to me but 1st verse was nice. I like tha "2 x 40" parts in tha hook. You had a pretty good part on your verse. Not bad song. My Rating: 3.7


08. "Stay Down"
It's a lil' over 4 minutes so let's see if this one gon be good! >>> Pretty good start so far. Glad to hear that line, "spent all my profit on some work I gotta cook up." I enjoy lines like that. It's good and decent so far. Tha lyrics interest me more on this than tha whole track. My Rating: 3.8


09. "Hustle Girl"
I hope this izn't too soft and iz more on tha side where tha girl iz that white. Let's see… >>> Uh oh not too sure about tha start. Reminds me a lil' of "She Got It" in tha beat intro. Sounds like a song for a tomboy. Interesting though even though might not be tha type of song I can give a real nice rating. I'm interested in this though so that's gonna add up to tha rating I'm gonna give. Interesting lyrics and for any girlz that can go wit tha lyrics (gettin' they cake up and they swag up). Interesting right here. My Rating: 3.6


10. Skit
Ooh good a skit and almost ½time for this review. Lookin' forward to hearin'! >>> Was that sniffin' in this sniffin' kush? If so, that's REALLY TIGHT and REALLY watz good!! Anotha creative skit, especially since it has that theme music from tha intro! My Rating: N/A


11. "Put It On My Back"
I should look forward to this. Let's see… >>> Reminds me so much of Chamillionaire's "Won't Let You Down". Sounds like a great clone of it wit tha beat and that hook! Of course I'm lovin' it already and your 1st verse was good. Real good start to what tha 2nd ½ of this mixtape iz gonna be! Keep tha fiya comin' dawg! My Rating: 4.7


½time: Startin' off pretty good! I'm glad to be in a good mood to review this shit right now. Keep tha flamin' jointz comin' and keep smokin' that kush, ya dig! Nice mixtape so far! *Grabs dinner at 6:54 PM and comes back at 7:13 PM*


12. "I'm That Guy"
That does………… >>> Good start, nice beat and nice hook! Yeah, definitely catchy shit right here. Startin' to catch on wit that hot 2nd verse! Yeah REAL NICE hook as this joint iz mad catchy!! My Rating: 4.6


13. "Dope Boy Swag" Feat. Bubba Future
Anotha swag song!! High anticipation level for this!! >>> Looks like tha 1st jacked beat and real good choice, especially since it's a Pastor Troy (Georgia) beat! Great 1st verse and great hook! Looks like I hear Bubba on tha 2nd verse and I have a great feelin' I'm gonna really enjoy his verse! Yeah great 2nd verse! Oh, at 2:07, I was worried about tha song. I thought it had ended for somethin' else for a sec, but no! Bubba Future spittin' HOTTER shit still!!! I'm glad he got "a ½ of brick for his birthday." My Rating: 4.7


14. "Fo Sho" Feat. Tino
Can tha consistant shit continue? >>> Yup, more REAL HOT shit! Tino doin' tha damn thang on that hook! Tha beat iz tight too! Can't really say much since tha whole song was very consistant. My Rating: 4.4


15. "Bitch Where You Going" Feat. Chico
Let's see what's up wit this one… >>> I had a feelin' I wasn't havin' much anticipation for this. This iz decent so far and sounds like a somewhat sequel to tha "Fo Sho" song. I still give it credit since it's pretty good. Typical club lyrics. My Rating: 3.9


16. "Go Ham"
Oh no jackin' Rocko? >>> Some heavy bass here… Sorry, sounds like a clone of Rocko's joint. Maybe tha 2nd verse was a lil' better but still, not what I expect for my expectations when it comes to tha No. 16 song. Too many club songs in a row. You need to go back to anotha trap song. My Rating: 3.4


17. "Black Doe Joe" Feat. Tino
I hope I can like this better… >>> Nah, I wasn't expectin' a female song… Okay, Tino on tha 2nd verse got me a lil' more interested for tha song. I'll give it credit since it's a change in subject a lil'. My Rating: 3.6


18. "I Got It" Feat. Supa
Supa's back but how 'bout tha drugs? Hope so!! >>> I got a good feelin' hearin' that hook!! A lot better beat this time too! Yeah, definitely feelin' you on tha 1st verse! Real good shit right here and a comeback to tha mixtape for me! Yeah, Supa did a supa job on his verse!! This iz some tight shit right here! Gotta luv tha beat and that hook of course!!! My Rating: 4.8


19. "Young G"
Let's hear this one! >>> You sounded a lil' like Young Jeezy in tha beginning. Matta a'fact, it sounds like a Young Jeezy beat almost too. Soundin' pretty good so far! Glad you're "postin' in tha trap for weeks." Great motiviation song and lyrics right here! Glad tha baby mama "sucks good nuts." My Rating: 4.4


20. "Ass Talk" Feat. Khia
Cool that you got Khia on here. I have a feelin' it's a sample or some shit but I'm prolly wrong. Let's find out! >>> Sounds like a nice Hard Trance beat in tha beginning! Much betta female song right here, MUCH BETTA!!! Good 1st verse from you and here's Khia on tha 2nd verse! She did her thang and you're goin' on more about tha girl on tha 3rd verse! Great shit right here! My Rating: 4.5


21. "Threw Da Rain"
If that's tha way you spell tha title, then you, yourself, are wrong. It's really tha word "through" (as you're goin' "through" somethin' vs. "threw" as into you "threw" somethin'). But let's see what this joint has in store for me. >>> Bye DJ Scream! Don't worry, your mixtape wit Playaz Circle I finna review soon! Pretty good dry beat intro so far wit a lil' bit of shit goin' on. Spittin' some real life lyrics here ova a nice beat. I feel it as I'm goin' through some shit right now. I went through a whole lotta shit last year as a bunch of bitch-asses were takin' advantage of me. Once 2008 started, I stopped that. Some of it happened this year but now I'm in full control! A real joint right here for tha real dudes goin' through shit! My Rating: 4.0


22. Outro
It's 2 and ¾ minutes long! Let's see what's goin' on and if that theme music still plays! >>> A different theme song! Cool that you mentioned tha "kush," tha "pills," and bein' "fucked up." Great shit. Great shit and "if you show luv, you show luv back?" Hope you show luv to this review! You ended this shit good. My Rating: N/A
