Anotha FrankieThaLuckyDog review comin' at ya! 'Bout to review somethin' for K. Gates (not Kevin Gates from Baton Rouge) from New Orleans. We'll see who's better… He's gonna have to live a lot of expectations to Kevin 'cause Kevin iz real tight! Here goes my review, a 2006 mixtape, from DJ Drama & K. Gates "STC Reloaded"! Start Time: 4:27 PM | Video Game Playing: Secret Of Mana (for Super Nintendo) (on my computer)
Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me or have auto-tune in your vocals, I’m not buyin’ it!

01. Ziggler Wiggler Live From New Orleans
Zo za Ziggler zon zart zangz zoff? LOL @ my "z"'s. Anyway, let's see this intro to this "predicted political" mixtape! >>> Interesting and less annoying than skits in tha past that I've heard. Yeah, Katrina and all those otha gay-ass hurricanes are so fuckin' stupid!! Global warming needs to be controlled!! My Rating: N/A
02. "Time Has Come"
Lil' anticipated for this right here… Curious to know what K. Gates sounds like! >>> Almost sounds like Kevin on tha voice… Nice 1st verse wit all tha shit about Katrina. I think I like Kevin better but he sounds real interesting to listen to. Definitely liked this shit here. Now this iz tha lyrical shit I will listen to! My Rating: 4.5
03. "Gangsta Shit" Feat. Soulja Slim
It's sad how so many people from tha N.O. have died… But a lot are on their grind. Let's see here… Iz this a Soulja Slim sample? >>> Good thing that beat in tha first 10 seconds wasn't tha beat for this. I hear tha beat now and it's soundin' better. Sounds like Soulja Slim on tha 1st verse/tha hook. Either way, this sounds good. Nice lil' lyrics here and not bad song. My Rating: 3.8
04. "Believe Dat" Feat. Soulja Slim
Anotha collab wit him? >>> Nice/cool beat and tha 1st verse sounds nice. Even thought this from 2006, this sounds like some nice, old Rap music so I'm definitely likin' this. That's nice when it says tha hook; I like dat. Interesting feelin' here as this iz a jam right here. I'm likin' tha rhymes, tha beat, tha hook and all tha shit goin' on here. My Rating: 4.3
05. Geraldo Live
Let's see this joint here… >>> Oh, it's just a skit. All that chaos sucks; that's so terrible that tha hurricanes had to occur!! My Rating: N/A
06. "Think U Hot" Feat. Kayotic The Kid
*Review For This Song Fixed*
Let's see how this kid gon do on this joint wit Mr. K. Gates… >>> Pretty good so far. I like all those "dawg" parts in tha middle of tha 1st verse. Might need to grow on me 'cause it's only decent for me; nothin' really to highlight. My Rating: 3.5
EDIT: It was labeled wrong. Whereva I got this from, it labeled No. 6 as "New Orleans Savior" instead of "Think U Hot"; that wasn't good!
07. "New Orleans Savior"
*Review For This Song Fixed*
Now, let's see this joint here… >>> Tha length iz 5:03; if it was 1 second longer, it would've been 504, tha area code of New Orleans! Sounds a lot like a New York Rap song wit that beat… Reminds me a lil' of Freeway or Dipset. Nice attitude on this but I'm tryna get into tha song itself… I like tha lyrics on this though. So I guess you "cut class where you from." I don't know about that… I guess you got some shit on your mind. How come tha featured artist didn't come up? My Rating: 3.7
EDIT: This was labeled as "Think U Hot" instead of "New Orleans Savior" so it screwed me up… I'll have to flip tha reviews then.
08. New Orleans Testimony
Hopefully thingz are normal again, where there's no confusion wit tha IDs and what tha tracks really are! >>> Just a lil' skit again. It's sad to hear all tha shit that happened. My Rating: N/A
09. "I Gotta Get Me" Feat. Lil' Real One
Hopefully this iz tha right track and ID… >>> Yup, this iz tha right song; decent start so far. Reminds me of Lil' Troy wit those vocals for this. Interesting 1st verse. Likin' tha 2nd verse better as it's more wit an upper attitude. So, you "don't like white folks 'cause they don't like you?" Well, I'm a white dude you gon like 'cause I respect your music. Not bad on tha 3rd verse too. I like tha lyrics that go wit this beat; neat combination. My Rating: 3.9
10. DJ Drama Speaks
Let's see what this topic gon lead to… >>> It's 4:19 so that's pretty long for a skit. Neva mind, this anotha mistake labeled on this (I caught this one fast). Tha real No. 10 iz "Speaks" and it's labeled as "Save My City" for No. 11. Anyway, nice lil' skit I guess. My Rating: N/A
11. "Save My City"
This was labeled as "Speaks" and labeled as No. 10 so I was able to figure it out. Let's see this joint. >>> That "black people" thing in tha beginning sounds racist; I wish racism would decrease! I'm sayin' that in my upcoming, political single! I'm likin' tha beat here and that's a strong hook right there. I like that "if Bush would've stepped on my block, he would've got smacked" line; it's very nice. In my upcoming single, I'm rappin' about us needin' a new president. Interesting song here so I give it a better rating 'cause of tha combination of strong lyrics, good beat and great voice for tha track! My Rating: 4.4
12. "Hard Times"
Let's see… Will this be tha sequel to tha previous joint? >>> I like how it's "fuck tha law, I follow my own principles." Great lyrics again and this iz listenable for me. Too bad you've been sufferin' so much wit all tha shit that goes on throughout tha hoods and shit. My Rating: 4.1
13. "Stressed Out"
More continuations here… >>> I like that "my fortune on tha wheel" line and all tha lyrics throughout tha 1st verse; I can tell you're "stressed out." Nice 2nd verse too, especially wit that "my chopper make you listen" line. An okay 3rd verse. I'm actually likin' tha speakin' after tha 3rd verse a lot better than tha 3rd verse right now; real shit. My Rating: 3.9
½time: It's a lyrical mixtape that I can take. Most of tha time I can't get into tha supa-lyrical shit but maybe there could've been better beats; it's all good though.
14. "Where I'm From" Feat. Mannie Fresh
This should be interesting. Let's see how y'all hooked up for this… >>> Nice lil' part in tha beginning where there's speakin'. I'm hearin' tha hook right now and it sounds like I heard it somewhere before… Not sure but nice hook. I'm likin' this Mannie Fresh beat too. Decent 1st verse as well as tha 2nd verse. I didn't expect to hear lyrics about tha females on this joint. It's still a vibin', Louisiana type of song here so I give it its props. My Rating: 3.9
15. N.O. Speaks
Let's see watz good here… >>> Sorry to hear about them kids. I noticed wit tha space in between tha 2nd and 3rd "we want help" that it sounded like it was copied/pasted in there. My Rating: N/A
16. "River Runs" Feat. Melaphyre
Let's see how tha "river" gon "run" on this… >>> I expected to hear more lyrical shit throughout tha 1st verse but that hook sounded a lot better. I guess that was Melaphyre on tha 1st verse 'cause now I can tell you're on tha 2nd verse… Much better lyrics on this 2nd verse. Yeah, real nice hook wit tha "school fucked up…tax" line. My Rating: 4.0
17. T.I. Speaks
Now what's up? >>> Sounded like T.I. right there. If so, good job gettin' him to speak. If that wasn't him, nice lil' check-in either way. My Rating: N/A
EDIT: Kept forgettin' to check tha mp3 file's name vs. tha title name on tha mp3. It says T.I.; no wonder.
18. "Flood Related"
Now this iz a good follow-up title/topic to tha No. 16 joint. Let's see how this gon sound… >>> I like this beat here; nice beat intro! Nice start wit whoeva iz on tha 1st verse (doesn't sound like you). I'm likin' tha parts about what Katrina did in tha beginning of tha 2nd verse from you. I like how pretty much this whole mixtape iz from tha effect of Katrina. Real nice 2nd verse from you on here! Nice 3rd verse too on this. Good shit right here. My Rating: 4.2
19. N.O. Testimony
Anotha skit here… >>> That's terrible that y'all had to sleep next to dead bodies and trash. *Cries* My Rating: N/A
20. "Whoa Daddy"
Maybe I'll like this joint more. I expect an uptempo type of joint here… >>> Intro sounds completely opposite of what I was guessin'. I thought it would be more like tha Mannie Fresh feature. That's terrible that "white folks" don't like you. Then again, black people have made me a better person. Anyway, I'm not really feelin' that borin' beat on here. You've had better songs on here wit better lyrics. Other than that, this one still had some good lyrics. My Rating: 2.9
21. N.O. Testimony
Hopefully I don't get too upset wit listenin' to this one… >>> Still sad to hear about tha shit that happened! Poor babies out there. My Rating: N/A
22. "Hurricane Gator"
Neva heard of this hurricane (then again, I'm not too familiar wit them). I guess I'll learn somethin' from this song… >>> Looks like I'm not really into this one either. Not really likin' that New Yorkish beat but I think tha lyrics are better on this one that "Whoa Daddy". My Rating: 2.6
23. N.O. Testimony
Now what's happenin'? >>> I hope to visit New Orleans one day (there's a brochure that I got from my college sayin' that they'll visit New Orleans and help them out; hopefully that'll be my chance to visit)! It sux wit tha crime rate and tha hurricane rate that it's decreasin' tha number of New Orleans people. My Rating: N/A
24. "South Coast"
>>> Nice lil' Big Band/Hip-Hop beat in tha beginning. Not bad song here… Not bad 1st verse, better 2nd verse. Nice lyrics once again on this shit. I liked some of tha earlier songs on here better than this one. Wasn't really too into it but nice beat and (of course) your outstanding lyrics! My Rating: 3.4
25. "Billionaire's Club"
Maybe I'll like this one better… >>> Still not gettin' back into these songs. VERY GOOD lyrics once again but not really drawin' out interest to this joint. Well, maybe tha 2nd verse iz givin' me some more attention now so I can see some interest. Great 3rd verse too but there should've been a Louisiana type of beat here, not an East Coast beat. My Rating: 3.1
26. Kimora Lee Speaks
Let's hear what's goin' on… >>> I HOPE it gets rebuilt and I got a heart for not just New Orleans but Louisiana too! SHOUT OUT TO BATON ROUGE!!! My Rating: N/A
27. "N.O. Place Like Home"
Interesting title. Let's see if I have more intereset in it. >>> Looks like this iz real long wit 7:03 on tha length. It's not for me; sorry. I mean, interesting topic/title and (of course) those great lyrics but this izn't tha type of track I'd get into. A lil' long for an ending (it's like 2 minutes long) wit just tha beat for a mixtape? Like I said, it should've had a Louisiana beat. If it wasn't for tha nice lyrics, I would've rated this a 1.2 or somethin' like that but you're gettin' a boost. My Rating: 2.0
Overall: End Time: 6:32 PM. Well, you're a very lyrical rapper and I'm glad you delivered it tha way you did. You just need better beats (especially Louisiana type of beats). Keep spittin' tha hot lyrics. I really liked tha 1st ½ of tha mixtape 'cause of tha mix of lyrics, beats and flows. Either way, I like Kevin Gates a lot better than you (no offense) but keep this passion of rappin' up and keep doin' yo thang.
