Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

There’s a 4th verse and it’s mo hot shit from tha members of tha Block Choppa Mafia! My Rating: 4.3

You already know! >>> Nice and long on tha length as well as a gangsta start wit tha lil’ skit! Tha beat kinda sounds like one of those Rick Ross/DJ Khaled-type beats; we’ll see how it goes… At least it ain’t officially jacked; glad dis iz keepin’ it on a gangsta level! What a gutta voice (on a laidback level) for tha 1st verse!! Just sounds Southern at its finest!! Tha 2nd verse even has a gangsta style, contributin’ REAL good!! Ooh, switched to a 2nd ½ here on tha 2nd verse; “stackin’ cake high!” Tha 3rd verse has a NICE start wit “Girbauds, dey draggin’;” fuckin’ gotta luv it!!! Ooh, switchin’ up to tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse, soundin’ GR8!! I believe it’s dat boy Mutt, doin’ a REAL NICE job as tha verse progresses!! My Rating: 4.5

Nice action title here! >>> Oh no, jacked beat style, again (“Foolish”)… Tha hook sounds catchy… Tha 1st verse iz very grimy on tha lyrics here, lol! Oh, Dot = D.O.T. from tha Bayou Boi clique? No WONDER I heard dat voice before!! REAL GOOD looks on collabin’ wit him!! Tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse iz DEFINITELY nice; dumb shit!! LOL, tha hook sounds like 92 Boys “Can’t Stop My Shine”, but betta fa when it was ’09! Tha 2nd verse has a REAL NICE start wit tha “rabbit in a turtle race” shit; VERY, VERY catchy on tha lyrics!!! Tha flow’s even pretty nice, too!! LOL, tha dude on tha 3rd verse sounds like my boy Beezy Bird, lol! Catchy-ass flow here, too!! Tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse iz Mutt, goin’ nuts!!! “Polo shoes, tha shirt Ralph Lauren!”

Tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse sounds good too… Tha 2nd verse’s pretty good here. Ooh, Mutt’s on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse, doin’ a NICE job fa tha “bitches” here! LOL, D.O.T. on tha 3rd part of tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit dat HOT-ASS shit!!! Even though wit tha Bayou Boi clique, how did he become cool wit tha Block Choppa Mafia a.k.a. BCM clique too? Interestin’ dat there was three parts to tha 2nd verse! My Rating: 4.2

Tha 3rd verse iz D.O.T. and it’s soundin’ nice wit how he comes through wit tha voice and flow! Tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse almost reminded me of J Fletcha for tha start. Either way, it’s pretty good. LOL @ tha “greedy muthafucka;” all about tha money, huh? My Rating: 4.3

Sounds like it’s just Choppa 1 on tha song? Again, a fucked-up title error. This iz “I’m Choppa 1”; I guess dat “Everythang” song iz mixed up in here somewhere… Tight shit from dat boy Choppa 1 here!! Tha hook’s catchy and we’re keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 2nd verse! Even tha 3rd verse iz nice too! I guess I just only heard undaground artists jump on dis beat many times. It sounds like Jeezy or someone but it’s really Vybe. My Rating: 4.1

Prolly gon be pretty interestin’! >>> I like tha start so dis should be pretty good! Kinda repetitive start but finally, at :41, tha 1st verse starts! What a TIGHT title ta end thangz off!! >>> Feelin’ dis beat; GR8 ear for Vybe’s beats!! Tha 1st verse iz cool; I like tha rappin’ at all times! What does dis title mean? It’s a nice lil’ hook; sounds like it’s continuous in many wayz! Mutt must be on tha 2nd verse; what a voice!!! FUCKIN’ GR8 shit to tha fullest!!! Tha 3rd verse fits pretty good too; likin’ dis shit, here!!! LOL, a 4th verse? Then again, y’all a group, so you know y’all bring as many verses as possible!! Good shit here, too!! Overall: Damn, what a HOT-ASS CD!! I swear, when it’s groups, tha CDs are OFF THA CHAIN!!! Too bad I didn’t know about dis last year; could’ve been easily nominated on my 2009 Louisiana Awards!! But, y’all got a GR8 rating here so keep up tha GR8 work!!!

Up to my 3rd review for today, 670th overall. It’s an anticipatin’-lookin’ CD from Choppa 1 (I think that’s how you ID his name) wit “1985 (The Mixtape Edition)”!! Released on January 1, 2009, I know for a fact that all these songs are ’08 ish, hence, “…but I dropped it about 2 years ago…” –Choppa 1 via Facebook when he added me October 3, 2010. Gotta give major props ta JP fa purchasin’ a hard copy fa me. He be supplyin’ tha hard copies of CDs ta where I can’t get ‘em! So, here goes my review for tha anticipatin’ Choppa 1 “1985 (The Mixtape Edition)”!! Start Time: 6:19 PM | End Time: 7:31 PM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I was ‘posed to wait ‘til this one was finished, but King Rice my boy, so you KNOW I had ta get at him!! Here goes my review for DJ Poloar Bear & King Rice Present “Da King Is Back (Leak)”. I should’ve known about dis 1st ‘cause I would’ve reviewed it, but it’s aight. This like tha “bloopers” a.k.a. “songs-that-didn’t-make-tha-real-CD” section. Start Time: 1:47 PM | End Time: 2:51 PM

Interestin’ shit goin’ on here in tha 2nd verse; street shit to tha fullest!! Your voice sounds funny on dis verse; almost sounds like tha words aren’t comin’ out all tha way, lol. Heard dis earlier… Hearin’ tha singin’ in tha beginning… Not really big about this singin’ but it’s a pretty catchy hook. Let’s hear how good you are on tha 1st verse… “Chasin’ a girl”-type song rather than “ridin’”-type lyrics? Oh, tha word “let’s” separates that… You “went to jail;” really? What happened? Pretty good job on tha 1st verse here… Tha 2nd verse sounds like a mix of Plies and Soulja Slim wit how it sounds. Not sayin’ that it’s real and fake, but that tha voice sounds like them combined. Kinda long wit tha bridge when I look at tha remainin’ length of 50 seconds; thought there was gonna be a 3rd verse… Startin’ ta like dat “you lookin’ like a diva” part in tha hook! My Current Rating: 3.6

Tha New York sound in tha beat here. It’s an odd mix from a Louisiana sound but it’s cool when you rap. “Missin’” them? Where are you? You “died already?” When? Lots of “daddy” shit here, lol. Definitely a lil’ catchy! My Rating: 3.4

Whoeva does gon get fucked up!! Fa real!!! >>> Anotha gross-soundin’ beat? Why these funny intros on tha beats? At least your rappin’s on point here! Oh, there had ta be singin’ in tha hook, lol? I like all your fast-ass shit in tha hook comin’ outta nowhere, lol! I like tha featured dude on tha 2nd verse; sounds like he’s serious! Tha 3rd verse iz pretty good too… My Rating: 3.8
Overall: I don’t know which CD I liked betta. Both CDs did nearly tha same thang: Somewhat fluctuatin’ 2nd ½, GR8 1st ½… Multiple tight songs, some dry songs. I dunno… This CD has one less song, lol.

FINALLY back to some reviewz!!! It has been a while, but I had to get tha college overload off my back! I’m off until October 20, but I have a 1,500 word essay due tha 20th, and I still have to edit my radio show and game show videos before next week. It might get a lil’ messy but anyway, I have a review I finna do for King Rice. Props for tha CD in tha mail! Here goes my review for his “The King Is Back” CD; glad I’m back!

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! But, here comes you on tha 1st verse… Tha beat’s a lil’ gay (don’t like these kinda beats where they’re NOT tight and have gay-ass vocal samples repeat) but tha rappin’ works here. Even though it’s just an “intro”, it prolly should’ve had a lil’ beat interlude to separate all tha lyrics. But, I guese because this beat’s not exciting, there’s nowhere for a beat interlude. Ooh, combination on tha hook; this iz a DEFINITE plus!! Luv how it sounds!! It’s kinda hard to fit longer songs on my radio show, but I gon hopefully try to fit this in there. This track iz produced by Freq Beatz; lookin’ forward ta hearin’ dis one!! >>> Hearin’ tha singin’ in tha beginning makes me believe that I heard Fedarro once before. Tha previous song sounded betta; not really big about this singin’ but it’s a pretty catchy hook. Let’s hear how good you are on tha 1st verse… “Chasin’ a girl”-type song rather than “ridin’”-type lyrics? Oh, tha word “let’s” separates that… You “went to jail;” really? What happened? Pretty good job on tha 1st verse here… Tha 2nd verse sounds like a mix of Plies and Soulja Slim wit how it sounds. Not sayin’ that it’s real and fake, but that tha voice sounds like them combined. Kinda long wit tha bridge when I look at tha remainin’ length of 50 seconds; thought there was gonna be a 3rd verse… My Rating: 3.3

He’s even on tha 1st verse, soundin’ pretty gutta here on tha 1st verse!! Now, it sounds like a street-type beat, so that’s a plus. You’re on tha 2nd verse, strictly raw shit here!!
