Almost fell asleep before, but I’m still on-‘n’-goin’! Here goes my review for Dino Danja “Da Danja Zone Vol. 2”, Late ’08 style! Start Time: 9:23 PM | End Time: 10:12 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “T-O-P-B-O-Y”
LOL, what a start here; let’s see if tha song’s just as good as its title! >>> LOL @ tha acapella start! Sounds tight and tha beat sounds like it can mix good fa a nice joint like dis! Tha “gorilla” shit in tha hook’s PRICELESS!! Nothin’ but GR8 shit here!! Nice lil’ startin’ song fa you!! My Rating: 4.5


02. “I Love This Shit”
>>> LOL, time fa tha jacked beats ta come into play… LOL @ “work in my shoes;” iz that tha best hidin’ spot, lol? What about tha “xanabarz”? They not “in yo shoes,” lol? Sounds nice here for a quick lil’ song. Nice job wit tha content! My Rating: 4.3


03. “It’s Going Down”
>>> Kinda good/quiet for tha beat start here. I like how you emerge onto tha 1st verse… Good hook; it’s true. Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty nice wit tha consistent shit you spittin’. Nice job here… Thought I wasn’t gonna like this too much but you pulled through! My Rating: 4.0


04. “Who Fuckin’ Wit It”
LOL @ this attitude! >>> Yea, lol @ this attitude! You got nuttin’ but dem drugz, lol! I really like tha content here; keep it goin’!! My Rating: 4.3


05. “Show Love”
>>> Thought it was Lil’ Wayne “Don’tgetit” beat for a second but at least it’s somethin’ different… Nothin’ special so far, so let’s see what happens when you start spittin’ rhymes. An okay verse; your rhymes gave it some life. I like tha “no wonder why these fake niggaz…” shit in tha hook; too bad there’s SO many “fake” people! My Rating: 3.7


06. “Hot”
Like Inna! >>> Well, not too “hot” for a known jacked beat this time… Tha lyrics are pretty boring fa me here; felt like I’ve heard ‘em enough from people. My Rating: 3.2


07. “My Way” Feat. A-One
LOL, just A-One on tha feature here and how random. Slowly gettin’ dem features back so let’s see what we got! >>> Sounds pretty anticipatin’ fa this beat!! Well, tha hook has real weird vocals; what kinda vocals are these? Who iz this person? Rather hear like a Kevin Gates or someone else sing it… LOL @ how you ended tha 1st verse wit, “I luv sellin’ drugs;” straight and to tha point, lol! Still, it’s not A-One as it’s you on tha 2nd verse too. Pretty good as you’re continuin’ ta hold it down… A’s on tha 3rd verse and damn, “$100 for tha shirt!” Good job wit tha collab but that hook’s vocals iz just weird. My Rating: 4.4


08. “Okay”
“Okay…? >>> ROFL @ how it’s just a plain “okay” on tha “Dey Know” beat/hook’s spot. Pretty good fa what it iz… Then again, just “okay” fa me. My Rating: 3.9


½time: Good so far; hope there’s less jacked beats… Let’s keep this shit hot! So far, a 4.0 CD rating.


09. “Danja”
LOL, ½ self-titled title here so let’s see… >>> Feelin’ this hot beat! DEFINITELY sounds like Late 90’s/Early 2000’s Southern-type shit! Good job on tha 1st verse and tha hook’s gutta to tha fullest!! Just feelin’ how you bringin’ your attitude to tha table! Gangsta shit from tha 2nd verse here; nice… Tha 3rd verse keeps it goin’ too! My Rating: 4.3


10. “U Kno What It Is”
Shit, yea! >>> Sounds like a gay jacked beat. Still, this was pretty catchy wit how you came through wit deliverin’ tha hook and tha rhymes. My Rating: 3.5


11. “Understood”
>>> Oh, keepin’ tha ’08 beats goin’… Although beats like dis distract me, this iz just decent… My Rating: 3.4


12. “Fake Shit”
>>> ROFL! How funny dat this iz called “Fake Shit” when tha artist I first heard this beat on (which it wasn’t tha original version; just some otha rapper), he’s about “fake shit,” not real “shit,” lol! Once again, this iz decent, but a lil’ betta than tha last one. My Rating: 3.5


13. “R.I.P.”
Oh no, back ta dis topic again? >>> Again, a 3RD depressin’ song? Tha otha two were on tha last CD. At least tha beat ain’t too bad here… I dislike typical lyrics like this… Kinda soundin’ long for a song here but it’s not bad… My Rating: 3.7


14. “Got It Locked”
>>> Nothin’ special in tha beat here so let’s see… This iz just decent but iz not Louisiana music fa me. WTH’s wit tha random hook? That gay hook just makes me not take this serious! My Rating: 3.3


15. “Yeah”
? >>> Not bad of a beat choice here… Good, but nothin’ fa me ta really say. My Rating: 3.5


16. “Freestyle” (Moe)
Endin’ it wit a bonus track of just a featured dude, lol? >>> Sounds good for a start ova this Wayne beat (good thing it’s an ’04 beat and not like an ’08 one). Good fa holdin’ dis down by himself. “’07,” huh? LOL, tha last CD was from “’07” and ended wit an ’06 song. Now, this one’s from ’08 and it ends wit an “’07” one, lol! My Rating: 3.6


Overall: I dunno what happened; kinda got boring towards tha 2nd ½… A lil’ too many jacked beats but at least tha 1st CD has music I can put on tha radio! Keep tha hot shit comin’ though!
