Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!
I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long
as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and
then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a
song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6
rating, I pretty much really love it,
as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I
hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type
before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything
after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening
to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or
talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’
topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

“Intro”
Got
a King Kong production, here; lemme peep it out! >>> Iz it me, or do
all DJs sound cocky on their intros? Like, they always make things sound like
it’s tha best of tha best; nothin’ new… As far as tha rappin’, this ain’t too
bad, but I’m totally lost in tha fast rappin’; don’t think tha fast rappin’ iz
for you. “Volume 1”? I hope all this “Volume” etc. shit for CDs end soon; no
one eva follows ‘em up! My Rating: 3.3
02.
“Poppin’” Feat. Young Phat
Thought
it was an original production fa a sec… >>> Ehh, this iz okay for a
“mixtape” song. Tha hook ain’t too bad, either, wit all tha “poppin’” shit; I
know you have betta shit in store fa tha future, though. All tha “big” shit on
tha 2nd verse sounds too cocky; why not small? Tha 3rd verse from Young Phat ain’t too bad,
either; rhymes are a lil’ above-average, but I can’t feel too much excitement
outta this… My Rating: 3.6
03.
“Get Up” Feat. Sam I Am & T-Lo
WHP
beat (original?). Hope this iz really good wit tha collaboration… >>>
Really not into Wookee’s intro, here; I guess it’s ‘cause I’m hating anything wit “stacks” in it,
these dayz. Oh, so tha song itself has ta do wit “money,” too? Well, not really
into tha topic, but it’s good for a hyped-up song, a lil’… Sam I Am did a
decent job on tha 1st verse; glad he’s got his guttaness… T-Lo’s on
tha 2nd verse, and I like how he rappin’, although it sounds a lil’
quiet… Here you are on tha 3rd verse, and it’s tha fast rappin’
again! No…! Good business or not, I don’t fuck wit “money” songs, these dayz… My Rating: 3.8
04.
“Guap It Out” Feat. Daboo
Yea,
I don’t think all tha beats on here are original… >>> Sorry, I can’t
fuck wit this “stack” music. This beat’s a bit of a typical turn-off fa me,
since it sounds like everyone else in tha mainstream. Tha voice delivery iz
good, but I can’t fuck wit these typical, automatic lyrics. When will “gettin’
hoes” and “gettin’ money” be a struggle, already? My Rating: 3.5
05.
“Gun Me Down”
Who
are Open Sound Productions? >>> Good to hear Darrell on tha intro;
shout out ta him, includin’ sendin’ me this CD. As for this song, I think I’ve
heard this perspective of bad people in tha hood from many people now, so it’s
boring. My bad for not much feedback; I’m not much in a mood, right now, since
I’m so busy wit other shit; reviewz are somethin’ I don’t wanna be busy wit,
especially nothin’ too special. My
Rating: 3.4
½time: Thought this was gonna be
original and good like “Bottles On Me”; I assume this came way before… 3.5
for tha CD rating.
06.
“Hard Times” (Daboo)
>>>
No way am I in tha mood for a-tune,
right now!! A man/rapper using a-tune = givin’ another man another man’s cum in
a tissue!! *Skips* My Rating: 1.0
07.
“Leavin’ You” Feat. Daboo
>>>
Only okay for me; tha title part can be catchy, or weird, but I think it’s more
catchy for me. My Rating: 3.5
08.
“Jok3”
>>>
I don’t see anything special wit this; why tha 4:25 length? That right there
should warn me! My Rating: 3.1
09.
“Competition”
>>>
Let Tupac R.I.P.; no need for tha spee—oh wait, wtf? I thought this was
original production, at first; yuck @ tha “Tupac Back” beat! Despite my gross
feeling, your attitude sounds nice, here. Tha delivery’s a lil’ gross, since it
sounds like typical deliveries of rappers today (e.g., Rick Ross). What’s up
wit all tha sandpaper sounds? Turn-off! My
Rating: 3.0
10.
“Shut Down” Feat. Lil’ Jason
>>>
Ahh, tha sandpaper’s continuing; why? I like your rappin’ and delivery, here,
but you need original beats! Why does everyone have to have a “mixtape,” smh?
I’m converting my cassette tapes from 2000 – 2002, and I remember tha real “mixtapes” back then. They would
play ‘em late at night, and it would be shit that goes hard, not shit that
sounds mainstream and random. Tha Lil’ Jason dude doesn’t have much to offer,
but he ain’t that bad; I can’t stand this stupid sandpaper shit goin’ on in tha
audio!! My Rating: 3.2
11.
“Bottles On Me” Feat. Daboo & Beat Flippa
All
those people are on tha song? You should’ve told me ‘cause I could’ve put them
on my mixtape’s back, but whateva. Even though a bonus, I feel like this song
cheated it… My Current Rating: 4.6
Overall: Not what I expected; I
guess I’ll have to wait for an album.
