‘Bout time I got some time for some more reviewz…, not that I’m excited for ‘em or anything. However, this one had to get some excitement outta me… I finally bought it and now, I’m reviewin’ it! Here’s my review for now-signed to Ross Music Group’s Beat Flippa Martell Muzik! My 1^st rap review of 2013; 2^nd review, overall, for 2013! Start Time: 8:46 AM | End Time: 10:16 AM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

02. “Martell Muzik” Feat. Delanor
Let’s see how tha title track gon start this off… >>> Nice start wit you in tha intro; anticipatin’ beat… Ooh, sounds good wit a mix of old school-soundin’ beats, mixed wit your catchy rhymes fa tha ’12! Glad to hear you doin’ more rhymin’! Tha hook sounds pretty nice. To me, I feel like I won’t 100% enjoy “life” ‘til I catch up wit everythang… :( LOL, thought you mentioned me when you said, “Frankie,” on tha 2^nd verse; that was a nice part, either way. Thumbs up for all tha character you got on tha 2^nd verse; you’re really enjoyin’ this shit right now, Flippa! Thought I’d hear a 3^rd verse, but it’s good to still hear an extra hook. My Rating: 4.4

03. “Bet Not Touch Me” Feat. Heavy & Sam

I like a title like dis; lookin’ forward to hearin’!! >>> Likin’ this slow-soundin’ beat fa this; good hook, too! As much as tha hook sounded like Paul Wall, I almost thought that was him on tha 1^st verse. This sounds good; what else can I say? Flippa, you’re on tha 2^nd verse and you livin’ a good life, here! I always think of real southern music when it comes ta you, Flippa! It neva sounds boring like people tryna make New York music, and you always tend ta live dat southern life! Almost thought that was a young Webbie on tha 3^rd verse; interestin’ shit comin’ from this dude on tha 3^rd verse! Tha flow’s real nice and rapid! It’s not cheesy or anythang; it flows through nicely on this beat!! My Rating: 4.5

04. “My Chevy” Feat. C. Hills & DJ B-Real

Currently, tha temperature on Long Island, NY iz 28 degrees, but snow finna hit our way! It was 0 all week last week, so hopefully, when I hear this, we’ll warm up a bit! Really lookin’ forward!! You know how much I got luv fa DJ B-Real!!!!! Hope he sings a real nice and southern hook!!! >>> Ooh, a car in tha beginning; feels like I’m on tha streets!! Definitely feelin’ tha beat, too!! Ooh, almost thought that was someone else on tha hook, but I hear it clearer once tha 2^nd ¼ comes up!! B has such a great voice; so fuckin’ talented!!! Whoo!!! Kickin’ this off wit you on tha 1^st verse, and it sounds catchy wit your character, once again; you holdin’ BR down to tha fullest, Flippa!! Got that C. Hills dude on tha 2^nd verse and he sounds like he fits in perfect fa a song like this! No cheesy rappers, here; nothin’ but that southern, Pimp C, 2000 – 2008 feel to it!! Will B-Real be on tha 3^rd verse??? OMG, yes!!! Fuckin’ luv him ta death!!!!! Glad he rappin’ and he rappin’ all about bein’ in dat “chevy;” sounds real nice ta hear this!!! Thumbs up fa givin’ dat real southern vibe, B-Real!!! Also, nice slowed-down ending!! My Rating: 4.8

05. “I’m Winning”

Wit a CD like this, as well as your past consistency, yes, you are “winning,” Flippa!! >>> Anotha hot beat, here; you really holdin’ this CD down, Flip! Strictly you on this joint; no features!! Almost thought that was tha rapper L.C. on tha 1^st verse wit tha flow; kinda sounds recycled or quoted from somewhere (tha flow or somethin’), but it still sounds nice… Tha 2^nd verse sounds nice, too; you goin’ afta your “winning” future! My Rating: 4.3

06. “My Life” Feat. J.S.P., Lady Lex & Bruce Dillon

Let’s hear what this gon be about… >>> Laidback-type beat, this time; sounds good wit tha singin’ on tha hook… No need for tha anti-“jigg” on tha 1^st verse, Flip…; wasn’t that shit, like, 10 years ago? Everytime someone talks about “jigg” shit, I always think ‘N Sync’s still around, wit all tha boy bands; that’s how long ago it iz! But, not bad for tha verse, Flip. Let’s hear what we got on tha 2^nd verse wit Lady Lex… Definitely feelin’ this voice and flow combination; southern shit at its finest!! We got tha 3^rd verse, here, and it’s soundin’ great, too; lots of luv fa tha boyz, which I still don’t understand to this day! My Rating: 4.1

07. “Musical Therapy”

>>> Nice sounds goin’ on in tha beginning, here… Ehh, it’s okay and catchy, but tha flow sounds a lil’ Ross/Wayne/Drake-y… I like how tha hook iz just talking and tha beat sample. Tha 2^nd verse’s soundin’ much betta; slower flow and delivered in a catchier way! A 3^rd verse iz here and it sounds good, too; back to tha 1^st verse’s flow, but it’s cool. My Rating: 4.1

08. “F.W.M.” Feat. Raw Dogg, Greedy, Lil’ Cal & Big Grizzly

“F!” I thought that was Lil’ Cali on tha feature! Now, we got my 1^st taste of an uncomfortable feelin’ on this CD, but I’m still lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this… >>> Intro sounds real hot, like some “Somethin’ In Da Air”-type shit; nice beat start wit you on tha intro!! Catchy hook, goin’ hard as tha “F,” lol! Nice shit comin’ outta tha 1^st verse; good thing for this beat ‘cause it’d prolly only be just about decent on somethin’ else. Real nice 2^nd verse bein’ delivered by Greedy, here!! Nice job wit this shit; southernness at its finest!! Let’s see this 3^rd verse… Lots of nice “fuck you, fuck me”-type shit; very catchy!! Hearin’ a Grizzly girl on tha 3^rd verse and she sounds pretty tight wit this gangsta shit! Great collaboration, overall! How ironic that I was afraid to hear Cal on this shit, and I didn’t even hear him! Can someone say, bonus?! My Rating: 4.6

09. “From Da Back”

! >>> ROFL @ a Juvie start! Great lil’ sample from him; he’s always hilarious and entertainin’!! Shit sounds nice, here. LOL @ you describe your boner as your “pants on tha rise;” anything ta catch their attention, Flippa! Anything, lol!! Good shit; you definitely held tha 1^st verse down fa tha ladies, here; always entertainin’ when you hit tha mic, whether it’s in tha chevy, “from da back” fa da ladies, or anything in-between! Nice job wit tha 2^nd verse; sounds like you’ve been singin’ a bunch of songs ta get you through tha verse, which iz cool… My Rating: 4.4

10. “She Like Da Way” Feat. Mz. TeQui & J.S.P.

Looks like a nice collaboration; lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this! >>> Intro reminds me of “My Ol’ School”, which ironically, this iz #10, too? Iz that your #10 formula fa CDs? I like this start, too, and you sound good in tha beginning… Tha hook sounds pretty nice; likin’ tha sexual shit a lot, lol! Feelin’ these X-rated rhymes a lot fa this laidback vibe! Glad you still real sexual for your age; makes me feel like it’s not too late for me ‘cause I develop real slow, especially wit encounters! LOL @ tha “eat dat dick, eat dat dick, eat dat dick” part; it sounds catchy how you deliver dat line (as far as you bein’ a machine, repeatin’ a line non-stop). Good shit from TeQui outta nowhere; she appeared real quick, lol! Glad she supplied tha track tha way she did, in such a fast time! My Rating: 4.4

½time: Anotha classic from you, Flip!! A 4.4-rated CD, currently; you’re always supplyin’ tha Rouge wit dem five-star CDs!!!!

11. “Everday All Day” Feat. Raw Dizzy

Dizzy a.k.a. Raw D.I. on tha feature? This gon be pretty sick wit you collaboratin’!!! >>> LOL @ tha “Dilemma” sample in tha beginning; feels weird to think that song’s 11 years old now. Felt like yesterday convertin’ all my 2000 – 2004 cassettes to mp3s, hearin’ that song a lot! Nice lil’ start from tha both of y’all on this real nice, southern beat! Always luv your organs, Flip!! Ooh @ tha hook; luv tha lines, especially tha “blowin’ tha blunt” part! Only time’ll tell ‘til I visit Louisiana, finally! Just need a dude to back me up; money’s neva tha issue! Good job wit tha 2^nd verse, too; tha both of y’all goin’ back and forth wit tha verses and it sounds real nice to hear! Tha 3^rd verse sounds pretty nice, too; keep this shit up, guys!! My Rating: 4.5

12. “Ain’t No Love” Feat. K-Dot, J-Seven, Carrie & Delanor

A lot of people on tha people makes me think this iz gonna be mainly about singin’… >>> No, not a “Song Cry” remake; no!! That’s what tha beginning sounds like… Definitely keep Jay-Z far away from Louisiana music at all times!! He ain’t Louisiana!! But, hearin’ tha 1^st verse from you and it sounds like some nice travelling; beat ain’t too bad for you to rap on, either. Okay, tha hook wasn’t too bad; she’s got a good singin’ voice… Tha 2^nd verse’s remindin’ me a lil’ bit of Big Boi-type rappin’, which ain’t too bad, here. Tha 3^rd verse’s J-Seven, and he doin’ an aight job wit this verse, here. Not tha kinda song that’s really for me, but whateva. My Rating: 3.5

13. “I Keep Dat Fire” Feat. Young Teezie & C. Hills

This looks like a tight title; I’m lookin’ forward ta this! >>> Nice start wit tha reggae, almost-soundin’-like-a-Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley-sample beginning! You’re on tha 1^st verse and it’s soundin’ very commercialized, between tha flow and lyrics; DJ B-Real, where are you?!? Young Teezie on tha 2^nd verse? Sounds like an interestin’ young dude, finally! Likin’ his rhymes; hope he can continue ta embrace tha undaground and BR, instead of everyone tryna embrace stupid money and commercialized shit! That’s why, when I’m applyin’ for a job now, I’m neva mentionin’ anything about needin’ to pay my loans within two months! Good shit on tha 3^rd verse from C. Hills; a lil’ quiet on tha vocals? My Rating: 4.2

14. “U Know” Feat. Bengie Bee & Gangsta

Fiendin’ fa a DJ B-Real feature again, although I had a feelin’ that tha only time I was gonna hear him was on that 4^th song on here… Either way, let’s see what this joint has ta offer… >>> No Flip on tha beat? Different; J Buc this time… Sounds like a good, new vibe, despite this bein’ a “money” song, smh! I’ono how much I can fuck wit it ‘cause talkin’ about “money” a lot iz like talkin’ ‘bout you carry dildos on you; equally gross!!! Tha 1^st verse iz okay; a lil’ betta than that hook… Tha 2^nd verse sounds a lil’ Nu$$ie-ish on tha flow and attitude; kinda cocky… Wow, even mentioned “Nu$$ie;” why’d I guess so easily? Got Gangsta for tha 3^rd verse. Ehh, all these lyrics are too cocky. Everything’s good about this song but tha cocky-ass lyrics… I would hope y’all think jigg music’s way betta than cocky “money” lyrics……………………………………………………, right?!? My Rating: 3.9

15. “Hello World” Feat. Delanor, Gator & Bruce Dillon
>>> Sounds like tha ‘60s in tha beginning… What, with “gettin’ money” bein’ rapped on this; ain’t that disrespect to tha old school cats? We’ll see how much I can take this serious ‘cause I got two things not for me on this track… Usually, beats like this have lyrical shit that’s not really for me. Now, it’s a beat like this wit tha lyrics not comparing… I feel too old for lyrics like this (24). Anyway, enough of my braggin’, let’s hear you on tha 2^nd verse, Flip… Much betta lyrics; glad I feel like I’m in tha south again, instead of in a haze fulla “money”—dildos? I dunno about tha “Facebook” or “Twitter” parts; keep technology outta this. My Rating: 3.2

16. “Turn Me Up” Feat. Greedy
>>> Why that Rick Ross-type tag in tha beginning? Hope these tag things go away fast, or I’ll have ta go away faster! A lil’ bit of a bounce vibe; it sounds okay, so far… It almost sounds like Magnolia Chop on tha beginning, here… However, it’s this Greedy dude, representin’. Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it sounds okay… Mainly, this a song fa Greedy, it sounds like; lots of him on tha song, overall. My Rating: 3.8

17. “We Do This” Feat. M.I.C., Sims & J.S.P.

Lots of letters, lol. Let’s see how y’all “do this!” >>> Good beginning wit tha beat… Hearin’ Sims on tha 1^st verse and it sounds pretty good; always dig him on tha track wit his grimy voice! M.I.C. followin’ it up on tha 2^nd ½ of tha 1^st verse and he almost reminded me of T.I., wit tha voice. Good shit fa tha Boot; good collab! Likin’ those claps @ 1:28! Oh, I hear Sims on tha hook; I think I got it confused before, but yea, M.I.C. had tha 1^st verse and Sims reppin’ on tha hook! See, I was now right ‘cause Sims’ on tha 2^nd verse, lol… Once again, sounds good wit his grimy voice and all these drugs, lol! Now, we got you on tha 3^rd verse, Flip; interestin’… Nice representin’ fa these 225 streetz, Flip! I always picture tha coolest images of BR and coolest people when I think of seein’ you/eva meetin’ you one day, Flip! My Rating: 4.2

18. “Bottles & Models” Feat. Big Grizzly & M.I.C.

Looks like anotha interestin’ collaboration; bring it on… >>> I had a feelin’ this was gonna sound a lil’ like Da Chameleon’s “Bottles On Me” wit tha “bottles,” lol! Sounds nice and slower, wit those classic Beat Flippa horns!! Good shit from you on tha 1^st verse, Flip; you all about yourself here, lol! Thought tha feature was tha female; sometimes, I get them confused… Either way, glad to hear this Big Grizzly dude on tha 2^nd verse! He got shit on lock fa you, Flip! Hearin’ M.I.C. on tha 3^rd verse and he aight, although some of it makes me lose anticipation ‘cause I think of it havin’ a mainstream vibe… My Rating: 4.2

19. “I Appreciate” Feat. Chameleon
Speakin’ of dat Chameleon, here he iz on tha feature, lol, how ironic! >>> Anticipatin’ beat start! Don’t get too anticipated and excited at tha same time, now-a-dayz! Good start wit tha 1^st verse, includin’ how you came up from your “struggles.” Likin’ that hook; iz that Chameleon? Doesn’t exactly sound like who I thought it was, fa a second… I assume this iz him on tha 2^nd verse. Sounds good, but I think tha fast rappin’ throws me off… My Rating: 4.3

20. Outro Feat. Jomo Jenkins

>>> Sounds just as good as tha intro, only a lot longer ta enjoy! Can only imagine what his face looks like! My Rating: N/A

Overall: Wow, I finished this review at 10:16 AM, tha day (10/16) when I reviewed your Street Certified CD, back in 2008! Well Flip, you did a nice job on this!! Always supplyin’ tha 225 wit a nice 225 vibe at all times!! You neva disappoint; keep tha CDs comin’!! Yes, at least you put out albums and not like everyone else’s boring asses who put out mixtapes!
