Here comes anotha one! DJ Tank Presents Back To Business Vol. 1; anotha bounce mixtape fa me ta review! Start Time: 6:21 PM | End Time: 7:40 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

01. 10^th Ward Buck “Fifty Four (DJ Tank Mix)”

Whoo @ Buck’s return! >>> Sounds nice and old-styled, as well as havin’ Jill Scott “He Loves Me” in tha background, again, lol. Diggin’ tha hook; energetic bounce music, once again! Sounds like some Rihanna & Mikky Eiko “Stay”, in tha background, too; ehh, but for tha most part, this iz good. My Rating: 4.2

02. Kelly Rowland “This Is Love (DJ Tank Mix)”
>>> Not bad; pretty fast with these bounce vibes… My Rating: 3.2

03. 9^th Ward Judy “Ride It Like A Horse”

>>> A Linkin Park “In The End” beginning, again, lol… LOL @ tha repeatin’ hook wit tha Linkin Park sample!! “Ride it—ride it—ride it like a horse!!” Damn, back to tha “Stay” background music? Either way, great ta hear this Judy!! My Rating: 4.4

04. Sevyn Streeter “It Won’t Stop (DJ Tank Mix)”
>>> Kinda boring and long…; no interest, here… My Rating: 1.4

05. Flo’esha “Boom Boom (DJ Tank Mix)”
>>> This ain’t bad; ahh, tha John Legend “All Of Me” beginning beat… I like that “loosen dat booty” part, as well as remakin’ a lil’ bit of “Rump Shaker”, at times. Ehh, not bad, here. I thought it was a chick on tha song, when I saw tha name. Seems stale to have tha beginning of “All Of Me”’s vocals in this, at times. My Rating: 3.6

06. Fantasia “Lose To Win (DJ Juive Mix)”

>>> I’m not her biggest fan, so this iz barely aight fa me… Ehh, fuck it, but it goes okay with this mixtape… My Rating: 2.1

07. 9^th Ward Judy “Where Is D Shafers”

Some of tha parts of tha titles are cut off, so I’m not sure what to put, at times… >>> Sounds good, but why tha “I Hate This Part” sample, all tha time? Ahh, “All Of Me” again! Either way, decent… My Rating: 3.8

08. Jessie Powell “You (DJ Tank Mix)”
>>> Nice intro from Juive… Boring, long intro? It’s 1:10 long—ahh, it’s 6:19 on tha length? Pretty gay, for tha length! Sorry, but this iz completely pointless; I’m just starin’ inta space… My Rating: 1.0

09. Big Choo “Is It The Shoes (DJ Tank Mix)”
>>> Nice with tha “The Next Episode” beginning part, in tha intro’s background, here… Nice bounce beats; let’s see how this can progress… Kinda boring, but it’s okay… My Rating: 3.4

½time: It’s only okay, so far; a good portion of it seems boring, after bein’ kinda long and draggin’… Either way, a 3.0 for tha CD rating, currently.

10. Mariah Carey “Bye Bye (DJ Tank Mix)”
What a random song, lol! >>> Pretty hyper, though I dunno about this 5:07 length! It’s good fa what it iz, but no five minutes, please; three would be fine! My Rating: 2.7

11. Big Freedia “I Guess This Is”

>>> Sounds good, so far, for a start. See, it’s only 2:42; perfect length! I like tha ‘90s background music, such as Janet Jackson’s “Again” (?) & “Love You Down”, also… My Rating: 3.7

12. Sevyn Streeter “Next (DJ Tank Mix)”
>>> At least this iz shorter, but it’s still boring fa me… My Rating: 1.8

13. Blakey B “3^rd & G (DJ Tank Mix)”
>>> Not PCD again! LOL @ “google dat ass up,” repeatin’! No @ tha “Stay”, again! Really could’ve done without tha samples; they turned me off, once again! My Rating: 2.5

14. Allure “Lately (DJ Tank Mix)”
>>> This one’s long, but at least it’s a ‘90s R&B song, with some bounce beats added to it. My Rating: 3.5

15. Clacka “Run Up In A Hoe (DJ Tank Mix)”
>>> Nice ‘90s vibe in tha vocals, once again, here, bounce style… Why it sound like MJ at tha end? My Rating: 3.3

16. Keri Hilson “Make Love (DJ Tank Mix)”
>>> Damn, 4:30 on tha length? Pointless, once again! My Rating: 1.0

17. DJ Nneka “2012”

Can’t go back to that year, sadly. :( >>> Okay, so far; I like tha “my pussy, your pussy, my pussy, your pussy…” part at :37! Nice and hyper/fast! Such an obsessive woman, here, lol! “P-U-SS; P-U-SS!!” LOL, “In The Air Tonight” randomly came in tha background at 1:40; so random! And, at 2:03, real throwback with “The Best Of Me (Remix)”, Pt. 2, whateva it was from Mýa & Jay-Z! My Rating: 4.0

18. Pleasure P “Did You Wrong (DJ Tank Mix)”

I luv how this title’s not cut off… >>> Original version was already boring; not really inta this, though tha bounce beats aren’t too bad… My Rating: 2.6

Overall: Unfortunately, this didn’t turn out to be a great review. I mean, for a lower rating than usual, this ain’t complete trash. I wouldn’t mind listenin’ ta this, randomly, but as far as scores go, they’re not for quality. I got bored too fast after tha lengths, some of tha samples, and some of tha songs that were remixed. Either way, keep doin’ yo thang, Tank!
